butlerfamupdates I actually applaud People Magazine for this. All day magazine’s have posted Austin’s cutest moments with Luci and talked about what a wonderful Dad he is - which no one would ever doubt to think he is - but Luci’s mom is very much present as well and deserves love too. Luci loves both her parents. It’s normal for a kid to have favorites, it doesn’t make the other parent ‘bad.’

Back when the Legend of Korra finale first aired, I was a little baby gay and had a different tumblr which I believe I deleted. On said tumblr, I think I mentioned vaguely that I had an idea for fankids for them

It's been 9 years since I deleted that tumblr. It's going to be 10 years since the finale this December. The release of the (underwhelming) live action Last Airbender has brought me back to a show that truly changed my life, and made me feel seen as a queer, mixed native kid (I'm a quarter, my grandpa was full)

So. Here's a little post about those ocs, who I found in my old seventh grade french notes (I never paid attention in that class lmao)

Anyways!y Korrasami kids. Let's go over them

Hiroto Sato (Ref age 16)

So I imagine that once their lives were stable, that they'd want to have a baby. Asami would carry in my mind, just because Korra would be all worried about how her body would handle it after the poisoning thing. However, their plans go, twisted. Cause they have twins

Their first born is their son, named after Hiroshi Sato, though Asami didn't want to directly name him after her father because her feelings would be still complicated. So, Hiroto. He goes by Hiro, mostly, and he's a fire bender

His eyes are a dark brown/grey, and he keeps his hair at a sort of medium length? It curls slightly around his ears, and he'd need glasses starting at age 14. He likes warm, comfy clothes

Hiro isn't very physically, well, talented. He's clumsy, trips over his own feet sometimes, the kind of person who's thinking so hard he smacks into polls and apologizes to them. He'd nervously chew on the skin of his thumb as he works. Hiro's an awkward guy, not great at conversation. He's always had a knack for art, and wants to become a city planner. He's not a great bender, but he does like helping out in the kitchen

Yasuko Sato (Ref age 16)

Their only daughter and youngest bio child, it's younger twin Yasuko! Korra chose her name. She knows how much Asami's mom meant to her, and honestly, the baby looked a lot like the old photos of Yasuko. As much as a baby can, at least. Like her brother, she's a fire bender

She's nearly a carbon copy of Asami. Green eyes, wavy black hair, though she smiles a little crooked. She keeps her hair up in a high pony, and even though she needs glasses like her brother, she rarely wears them. She forgets them more often then not, and just takes his to read momentarily. She's, like, "sleeves? Never heard of them"

Yasuko showed real promise in fire bending when Korra first started teaching her, so she decided to get both twins a proper teacher. Yasuko wanted to be a hero like her Moma, and grew up wanting to help people. Her goal is to be a fire fighter! She's the funny friend, always makes others smile, a jokester

Kova Sato (Ref age 19)

So, the next three are all adopted. There was a disaster type happening in the furthest parts of the Northern Water Tribe, and Korra went to help in the aftermath. After helping with search and rescue efforts, she goes to visit the injured to sort of, give them hope

That's where she meets Kova. He's 9 at the time, yet he was working hard to use his water bending to help heal alongside the elder women. She talks to him while handing out some food shipped in from Republic City, and finds out he lost his parents, and has been looking after his younger brother

Long story short, both boys return to the city with her, and Asami ends up understanding why her wife couldn't leave them behind

Kova is a big guy. He's mixed water tribe earth nation, so while he's got dark skin, his eyes are a dark green, and his hair is messy, dark brown. Quiet guy, but tall for his age. Real gentle, there's a reason he has an affinity for healing. He's got little sun freckles too!

He's great with words. He's a blooming poet, writing the stories people tell him during healing sessions. Incredibly kind, loves the idea of memories making someone immortal. The first poems he writes are of his birth parents, and the second? Of his mom's, and his siblings.

Haoyu Sato (Ref age 12)

He's Kova's younger brother, and was only 2 when Korra took them in and brought them to Republic City.

Haoyu is just paler than his older brother, with darker, messier hair, and blue eyes. His smile is bright, pure joy and energy. He's an endless ball of energy, and reminds his mom's and grandparents of a young Korra; he knows he's hot shit. He's an earth bender, starting at age 6

He's obsessed with pro bending. But, he doesn't dream of being an athlete, but an announcer. Reading is tough for him, and he struggles a bit in school, but when he comes home each day, he's surrounded by love, and care. Asami is always happy to sit with him and help him make sense of his school work, gentle, kind, and patient

I imagine he'd wear someone like a hoodie and soft puffy pants, the kind that end above the ankle.

Gyaltsen Sato (Ref age 5)

The youngest, and again, not exactly a planned adoption. His mother was a newer air acolyte, and she didn't make it through the birth. Tenzin asked Korra and Asami to look after baby Gyaltsen away from the busy temple until someone could take him in, but, the mom's got attached

Just barely darker than Asami and the twins, Gyaltsen has the lightest hair in the family, and the darkest eyes. He's an airbender who shows extreme potential, and is one of Jinora's most promising young students

He's got this spark for life. Everything is so cool to him, so amazing, it's rare for him to be disappointed by something. He feels things strongly, and his Moma Korra sits with him to meditate and talk about his big feelings

He's still very young and growing up, so he's got time to become himself

She can be absolutely terrifying but she's also an absolute sweetheart and she teaches so well

When Adam tagged her (as in "tag you're it") she laughed and then ran up to me and tagged me

Disappointed by the lack of knowledge about culture we have

Cool teaching methods

Probably will yell at you when you say something stupid but she's actually calm and that yelling somehow works to fix your stupidity? It's magic or something

Told us how many marks we need for her to be able to give us the final mark and let us just chill when we had them, no more tests

Her son is a doctor, ex army doctor I think? She must have passed the cool smart genes to her kids

We had a totally peaceful discussion about ancient and modern history and which one is better (it's ancient history and I will die on this hill)

When he decided to make me suffer and ask me questions in front of the board (verbal exam) he asked stupidly formulated questions so I gave him just as dumb answers ("and what are these men in the photo doing?" "standing in front of a vagon" *shocked laughter* "I mean, yes, but I meant what are their jobs or... You know" "well you didn't say that" "that's valid")

Makes fun reanactments of situations he's explaining (that could be colonising, class enemies, literally whatever) and it's so fun

But also likes to make me suffer. Literally touched a pen during class? Amazing tell me everything you know about the current situation of native Americans in America (we were talking about the American revolution and this was kind of off topic but I can't really complain because I knew anyways).

Knew I love Joan of Arc, had an assignment about her ready and it was a free topic that he didn't assign to anybody, still decided to make me write my assignment on the structure of society in the middle ages (which you have literally not even one slide of info about because it just isn't that complicated unless you want to go into unnecessary detail which he hates so I was forced into writing a slide about my opinion comparing the society in the middle ages with the current one)

Just enjoys giving me harder assignment with a smirk that makes me want to punch him so bad (still adore him tho)

After I tagged him at lunch (literally ran past him, punched him arm as I was in full speed sprint and yelled "you're it!" in the full dining hall), he called me and my friend (they were filming it) into his office and then turned to one of my friends, tapped her shoulder with one finger and said "you're it." and we honestly lost it

One time accidentally said the Romans had rectangular squares (instead of shields) and I had a fit of laugher and he attempted to send me to the hall to calm down but when I got up to go I literally collapsed on the floor in a stronger fit of laughter and he started laughing at me

Loves to recommend historical movies. Or criticise them, for that matter.

One time during a gingerbread thing I will describe somewhere a bit lower, I needed to make a good symmetrical cross (+) but screwed up so I just turned it into The sword in the stone and joked about giving it to him. Our main teacher actually did give it to him and he thanked me in the hall and I was so confused because I had no idea

One time I accidentally sent him a meme instead of an assignment. A Henry VIII meme. A really bad one.

One time I sent him a meme on purpose, tho. One about Romulus and Remus. He asked me about it and then told me he will be looking forward to receiving more memes in the future

GEO/BIO (aka our main teacher)

Makes tremendous exams even worse by forcing you to recognise pictures of the stuff. Cultural heritage places, trees that look literally the same, freaking moss that you can't tell apart let alone based on a projected photo...

Made us do damn maps of every continent. But at least three for each - river systems, terrain, and then possibly just classic geography. Also made us remember the capitals of every single European state which made me want to stab her because despite being slavic i keep switching some of the balkan countries

Lab work. Just. Lab work is pain.

You know about these weirs streams where it's just someone peeling an egg? Yeah she made us go that during our lab work

Also forced me to go to the bio olympics and j hate her for that because I don't even like biology

Literally makes me and my friend aka the responsible ones do so much stuff that we have basically no free time so she can kiss my ass

Complains about being overworked, proceeds to dump half her work on teenagers

That doesn't change the fact that she's evil and overworks me constantly. One time I screwed my shoulder up after a full day of running around and running errands and carrying stuff and running upstairs with it and-- yeah I was in pain so I don't like her

Actually made us spend part of our Christmas break in the school kitchens baking and decorating gingerbread and doing other arts and crafts for some charity thing. I love charity events but once again I was sick and tired and had no free time

Makes our medic club do a thing where we explain first aid to kids. This includes minimum time to eat, drink, or go to the bathroom. One time I got a fever and still had to stay there. When I finally got home, I passed out haha. Spent the next two weeks in agonising muscle pain with a cold and a fever. Once again I refuse to forgive her for making me stay there.

PHYSICS

Kind of a pedo if I'm being honest

finished ch 2! alright, i’m hooked. pb actually outdid my low expectations by not taking the easy way out of just making the girlfriend flat out unlikable, and they actually even had one of mc’s friends call her out on being mad when she never actually told blake her feelings! the side characters are growing on me, and knowing that this book takes place entirely in this national park lodge doing outdoorsy things makes me very excited. i’m a wildlife bio/ecology major with a dream of becoming a park ranger and i will always die for bestie to lovers. this book was literally made for me.

funnily enough, it looks like the MC is the most immature one in this story. would appreciate a little less whining about “but i’m perfect for him”!! lmao. i’m only two chapters in and obviously have to wait for the rest haha but we’ll see how it goes! and i’m hoping the entire book isn’t just her being out against the girlfriend and this gets resolved by least halfway through the book, otherwise it could get old fast

opening choices for the first time in a hot sec to play first comes love because i will always be a sucker for best friends to lovers. we will see how this goes!

might be a repeat, but jess was always supposed to be in a poly arrangement. in the og version she'd have khalil as her primary partner and khalil would also be together with basil, but then the fire nation (malcolm) showed up and my wife fell in love with him. there wouldn't be kids and tbh i was very on the fence about kids in saga until i decided to cut out most family aspirations, which would seriously mess up the flow of time in the save.

hi! I don't have an about or post for what this blog is about, but it's basically just my brutecass sideblog! mostly I just wanted a low stakes space to post about them and chill without getting stressed out about whether or not it was fine to skip the story telling and draw them kissing or wondering if I was secretly disappointing anyone.

this is going to get way longer than I mean for it to get.

tbh, up until very recently, I didn't care much for cassius. this blog actually started with the intention of focusing on cassius and his role in brutus' life through a haunted house/gothic horror/greek tragedy framework, and it was strictly a story telling interest, but after five minutes I realized that I loved cassius a lot and there's a lot of interesting stuff happening with him historically that I had been overlooking, actually, and that's why my twitter bio says that I owe him ten bucks and a fancy dinner.

my first love has always been history: as a kid, I spent a lot of my free time reading historical non fiction texts. I don’t know how to love things halfway. if I find someone in history that grabs hold of my heart, I’ll sit in that space forever. I found machiavelli at 15, and eleven years later I still can’t shut up about him. brutus goes back further than that, and cassius occupies a similar space now. I have over ten years to catch up with on cassius lmao [as evidenced by my other blog, @diinadam, which rapidly descended into some kind of dead romans chaos]

as for brutecass specifically, it's like, oh my god. they knew each other as children. they knew each other up until they died. the part of the national's empire line that goes 'there's a line that goes all the way from my childhood to you.' the way that appian compares cassius to a gladiator against brutus as a philosopher. the dialogue shakespeare wrote between them makes me cry. I love tragedy. I love poetry. ‘for 2000 years the name of cassius has been tied to brutus.’ for 2000 years, your name hasn’t been alone. I think a lot about how they clashed and fought but picked each other anyway. brutus didn’t last the month after cassius died. he probably introduced cassius to his mother and his sisters when they were boys.

on a less serious note, I also just think they’re neat. I love a conspiracy to kill a tyrant!!

and to answer your question do not have sideblogs for all of my specific interests, brutecass is the only thing that has enough of a...... focus of interest, I guess, that I wanted to have a space separate from my main blog.

hi it’s nia <3 this is my second muse vivian and i apologize soooo much in advance. lmao. their bio and info is below the cut. please like and im me to plot i am so so excited to bring u this angst bitch

vivian grew up in las vegas. they were born to not one, but two politicians. their mother was a state representative and their father was mayor of their town. ever since she was a kid, vivi was forced to spend her free time at donor events, fundraisers, and shuffled around at various events for causes around the city. everyone in town knew vivian by name and face. people sucked up to her: neighbors, teachers, law enforcement, anyone hoping to get ahead by way of her parents’ favor. it gave her a heightened sense of importance that quickly got to her head. 

by the time she was a preteen, vivian believed herself to be above the law and above those around her. by age 14, her father was running for governor and her mother held ambitions of working on a national level in washington dc. an only child with her parents both busy and in the public eye, vivi had absolutely no one to turn to. in her mind, no one would understand her, anyway. once she was 15-16, she was hanging out with an older crowd, skipping school, sneaking out and getting drunk to see if anyone at home would notice  ( they didn’t. )  her folks didn’t take notice of vivi’s bad behavior until her actions began affecting them politically. you couldn’t run a campaign on ‘safe cities’ when your daughter was being brought home by police at night and found lingering around sketchy clubs on the vegas strip. 

trigger warnings in next paragraph: drugs, drug overdose, death

vivian’s mind began to be wired in a really terrible way: the more trouble she got into, the more her parents seemed to notice she existed. maybe they were screaming at her, but they were communicating with her. and that was more than she’d had before. one night at a fundraiser, vivi met a boy who was a fellow politician’s kid. he invited her to a back room with a few other teens where she was introduced to cocaine. unfortunately, vivi became hooked right away. over time, she found comfort with drugs and with this group of teens; the only people who seemed to understand her and care about her. a few months later, she was at a party with this boy and their friends when he overdosed in front of her. his death profoundly affected vivi. she became even more withdrawn, talked to almost no one, and was cruel and cold whenever she did. after nearly being disowned by her parents for the overdose incident, vivi agreed to go to rehab. once she was out, they were sent away to live with their uncle in boston, massachusetts, so vivi couldn’t mess up their politics anymore. she stopped looking for attention from her family and instead wanted nothing to do with them.

in boston, vivi attended public school. quickly she fell into her old ways, getting caught up with a bad crowd, ignoring school and rules, and partying constantly. at school, she met a kind student named harper and was very drawn to her. the girl was so good and everything vivian wasn’t. vivi knew she had absolutely no business getting involved with someone so pure and kindhearted, but she couldn’t help herself. harper was ... different somehow. for the first time, vivian fell in love and felt love. the two dated and vivi really thought she could be a good person with her girlfriend’s influence. however, the school year ended, vivi was shipped off to boarding school by her parents, and she regressed all over again. knowing the path she was on and knowing her girlfriend deserved much better, vivian cheated on her right away and broke things off. ever since then, vivi has cheated on every single person she’s ever dated and maintained fierce independence and selfishness. 

other info:  vivian may look poised and sweet from time to time, but don’t let it fool you. it’s her political upbringing that allows her to put on a faux aura of compassion and authority. vivi is still the same mess they have always been. they will be a bitch form time to time. they take kindness as an insult and as a method for someone to get something from her. it’s not her fault, really. it’s how she was taught. they’re impulsive, stubborn, ruthless, and self-destructive. they are very very intelligent and could do something with their life, if they ever learned to channel her good qualities. vivian just doesn’t know they exist. vivian is bisexual with a strong leaning towards women, but who knows ?  putting her into a box would be impossible. she’s an entp, virgo, chaotic neutral if any of that means anything to you. <3

First impression: i thought he was boring LMAO. i really only got into comics wolverine for laura and i learned that logan had another bio kid who was a lot more into Murder and i was like oh? i am simply not interested. that changed dramatically when i got to the X-23 (2011)/Dark Wolverine crossover. i thought his hair was very stupid though

Impression now: i love this bitch. he is an overdramatic 70 year old man who is fuelled by pettiness. he’s also fuelled by a burning need not to be controlled, which is a genuinely compelling aspect of his character even if it does sometimes reach comedic heights. ie in the X-23/Dark Wolverine crossover he literally betrays his latest allies in every issue? like, just back and forth? it’s gold.

Favourite moment: tough because he has a lot of good ones but i’m tempted to say a favourite is in Hunt for Wolverine (although it wasn’t the strongest book overall) when he uses his dying breaths to say “i said this was a stupid fucking idea” because what’s more iconic than that. or like, any of his appearances in Iceman (2017). OR the pink “strong girl” crop top he borrows off laura’s cousin. OR....... suggesting the name “honey badger” for gabby because she’s sweet and has claws

Idea for a story: i do wish there was more content about him post-logan’s death, because he kind of started having a crisis about it in Wolverines but i felt like it didn’t get entirely concluded. also we never saw his and gabby’s first meeting! i already wrote a story about that but i always wanna read more.

Unpopular opinion: i have no idea what the popular opinions are tbh. i guess, i think he should be given his own hero/villain name (rather than a variant of wolverine) so maybe we can stop calling him daken :/ oh and writers should remember more that he’s in his 70s ajkfhdsfdasd

Favourite relationship: the way he puts everything on hold for laura (and later gabby) is just so good and so fucking funny. especially because they spent 80% of their crossover beating up and/or mocking each other and at the end have somehow reached a wordless understanding that they’ll stop trying to kill each other and are now Sibling Bonded? so now he’s in the middle of his latest plot to like kill his dad and take control of a small nation but he’s like “sorry i’ve got to borrow some morals and a conscience rq to hang out with my sister” it’s so good

Animal Crossing Fish - Explained #46

I’m gonna preface here to say this is going to be a long post because COVID has officially cancelled my job. I typically have a multitude of educational programs I do during the summer, teaching kids and the public about the marine life surrounding us. (I live on an island irl, so it was too easy for me to get into marine bio and constantly “practice” it). But, of course, with the virus spreading, I can’t go out and do that, and I’ve been chomping at the bit to tell someone about horseshoe crabs:

I will try to keep this as brief as I can, but just know the horseshoe crab is one of those animals we focus on here on Long Island, NY. It’s one of our most unique marine critters and a very important part of life here. They are amazing and they are my favorite invertebrates, full stop. So, needless to say, I have about a 20 minute spiel about these guys and, no, I won’t hide it under a Read More like I usually do, because gdi we gon’ learn about this adorable things.

If your island in ACNH is in the Northern Hemisphere, you can dive for these late at night (9pm to 4am). They have a pretty big shadow and won’t give you quite as hard a time as the giant isopod or the giant clam because they are darlings. Still, they are pretty rare, and we will get to untangling why these stipulations exist in the game, besides the fact that there’s fun things you can do with them. 

There are only four extant (surviving) horseshoe crab species in the world, and after some double-checking, the horseshoe crab in ACNH is none other than the Atlantic Horseshoe Crab (Limulus polyphemus):

Now, Blathers broke my heart upon submitting this cutie into the museum. Blather’s erroneously says the following: 

“Some might say it's good luck to catch a horseshoe crab. But I am NOT among them, eh wot! Though called a "crab," this beast is an arthropod and thus more akin to spiders and scorpions! Its long tail resembles a scorpion stinger, in fact! “

*sigh* Okay, so it’s correct that horseshoe crabs ARE NOT crabs - they are indeed more closely related to arachnids, like the spider and scorpion, rather than crustaceans, like crabs. They are within the Order Xiphosura and have been around for millions upon millions of years, virtually unchanged. (That’s the “living fossil” bit in Blathers’ explanation, just like our friend the Coelacanth). There is actually a very recent study that put horseshoe crabs directly into the Arachnid family, but it seems the jury is still out about changing the whole phylogeny. I mean, look at the underside:

Looks like a spider in a tank, lmao. And yet, I have no fear. (This is a male and female mating - they got turned over for the picture, fairly certain - credit to the photographer!) 

But anyway, what Blathers is suggesting is that crabs aren’t Arthropods, which isn’t true. All the crabs, shrimp, lobster, crayfish, and everything you can catch with your bug net that isn’t the snail are ALL ARTHROPODS. It’s a very big phylum, in fact, the largest group of animals on this planet. RIP Blathers. And then likening the long tail to the stinger of the scorpion...Blathers, you are killing me. First thing I always have to do when talking about this creature is convincing people it’s harmless...

But anyway, I can go all day talking about how horseshoe crabs have ten eyes, or 

>>> that their blood is blue and how it aided medical science the world over and just a quart of their blue blood is worth $15,000...the Nooks are low-balling you with that 2,500 bells crap, jfc...the Atlantic horseshoe is becoming vulnerable to extinction because of it... <<<

or how THEY ARE COMPLETELY HARMLESS, or that they are the little vacuum-cleaners of the ocean floor. If you want those explanations, please feel free to ASK ME and I will talk your ear off about it. I love horseshoe crabs, guys.

But I will take this time to gush about how ACNH did this thing such justice. Here on Long Island, our horseshoe crabs mate and come up on the beach from May through to September, so it makes sense they are available now in ACNH. They will usually mate throughout the night of the full moon, so explains why they’re available at night! Now, Long Island is the land of endless estuaries, the points at which rivers meet the ocean (in fact, we here on Long Island have 3 nationally recognized estuaries - the Long Island Sound, the Peconic Estuary, and the NY-NJ Bight near NYC) and you can bet horseshoe crabs appear in all of them. So, it made me so happy to see that Blathers puts the horseshoe in the estuary part of the river section with the sturgeon:

It’s so perfect, I was losing my mind. 100% Long Island feel right there. Bless.

And that’s not the only place I lost it. You can put them wherever you want without a tank, just like the snapping turtle!

And last, but not least, when you interact with it, it flips over.

And then uses its tail, called a telson (it is NOT a stinger!!!), to right itself...

...just like in real life. And that, my friends, is why I can’t stop playing this game. If you saw my post from earlier today, I’m sure it’s now very obvious I’m trying to recreate a horseshoe crab mating event on my far beach.

And there you have it. Fascinating stuff, no?

background

when a neighbour is asked about the riveras what usually comes to mind is the sound of laughter at all hours of the day mixed in with the occasional high pitched screech. his parents met when his father was studying abroad in london, had the kind of ~whirlwind~ romance found in romcoms and romance novels. their five children and small home in exmoor national park are the product of it. eliot, their only boy, was always quieter than his sisters. the smilier one. who probably spent his pocket money buying ice-creams for them and holding the family together. 

growing up in a small seaside town, there was never much to do other than visit the beach. so! eliot combined his love for the sea and took up sketching the waves and trying to capture it in some way. and he’s pretty good at it too! definitely the kind of person to give you a little caricature for christmas kinda business 

he was honestly just.... a good egg growing up. never caused too much trouble and tried so hard!! in school even if art was always going to be his favourite subject 

so, it was all pretty normal up until the time he was thirteen when he became scouted by a fashion agency and probably a little too influenced by the squeals of his sisters, he signed up. so that was suddenly his life throughout secondary school. fashion weeks spent with his nose stuck in a level textbooks backstage... having a lil identity crisis over being an artist stuck in someone else’s artwork... but ultimately realising being part of someone else’s creative vision was cool too! 

but now he’s at strathmore doing what he really adores more than anything and that’s .... probably still painting the sea lbr bc it’s his one true love, but they’re better now and he can afford better paints 

personality

despite modelling boosting his confidence, eliot’s still a bit quiet. very much the kind of person to only chime in when he has something important to say 

probably breaks up arguments by walking in the room like ‘right! i’ve made you both some tea’ 

incredibly calm and gentle. tries to see the good in everyone and really does try to bring that out of people too! even if he probably fails at times 

trips to the beach but... make them semi-organised because otherwise he’ll show up without the right beach goods and we can’t be having that 

big listener energy and he’s patient too so if you want to go on about something for hours? he would probably sit there and listen and GENUINELY be interested even if it’s about something really mundane. and he will remember almost anything!! you tell him. so probably has to tone it down and act like he doesn’t remember where you went on holiday when you were nine or w/e lmao

on average, compared to other people too cold. that said, I prefer cold weather to warm weather.

yes, quite a few times: soccer games (both for Scotland’s national team and the local team I support)

from time to time. camping is fun

yes. B12, iron, a multivit and some other stuff like plant-derived omegas. the average person can eat the way I do without supplementing if they pay attention/plan (or repeat it til it becomes unconscious habit/intuitive) and add stuff like fortified plant milk and fortified nutritional yeast to their diet (altho I would always recc regularly taking B12 at minimum just in case), but I cba tracking or planning and stuff so I just take them cause it’s like, a simple and super low effort way to be safe and have peace of mind

nah. I’m an atheist

black (sometimes with artificial plant sweetener, sometimes without), or with plant milk. if I’m getting it out somewhere I get a plant milk latte with a bit of sugar as a treat (oat milk is best imo for lattes).

I’m dry, but I was partial to sweet fruit ciders, ciders like Thistly Cross (a Scottish craft cider), vodka diet coke, red wine and cocktails. (didn’t have a problem or anything, it’s just a personal choice I made for a couple reasons. I quit it at the same time I quit dairy and eggs). I occasionally drink the alcohol-free version of one of the ciders I used to like, cuz the flavor is nice, and nostalgic.

I get that this probably refers to Canadian provinces but idk so I’ll localize it and say that of the four nations that make up “the UK” my favorite one is Scotland and yes I’m immensely biased
