Hello. This one is going to be a bit different. I wanted to test these subjects with a deck of mine and the energy seemed very...fluid. Like the beginning and the end are the same but checkpoints might be different, therefore this reading in particular will have to be written differently. After reading notes will be written: like this, meanwhile the reading at the time will be written normally.

Who is Scooter?

Someone who lacks balance but seems so motivated and focused that it can seem the opposite. If you look at the seven of cups all the fish are swarming this one cup so this could speak to someone hyperfixating on something new or shiny — or something that they do legitimately take interest in, but once they lose interest then they move onto the next thing. I think ultimately there is an issue with sticking to plans that he’s already placed or communicated to someone. So you could be on step five of this 20 step plan and suddenly he’s doing the same thing with a new interest and you’re left to figure it out, but he also wouldn’t want to let you go either because eventually he’ll come back around to you. I don’t get direct ill intentions (I am actively trying to harm you), it’s more like…childish lmao. It’s like someone who got pets or plants. They get bored of them and expect the life to start taking care of itself but then get upset if it gets taken away from them because like what the heck they still Wanted it hello? Just general imbalance and lack of implementing plans are the key qualities here. Does he lack earth or have stellium in water/fire houses lmao. (Oh just checked the back: page of swords reversed, poor communication)

How does Hollywood see him?

Very short and sweet lmao. Someone who is the ‘trusted choice’ if choosing to sign with a label (can promise good deals, long history, etcetc). However once you get past that you start to realize there’s a…I get hot and cold/on and off for some reason? There’s a song playing and the lyric I keep picking up is ‘Whether you love me or hate me’ and the rest of the song fades out. So it’s like some days you’re a favorite, some days he’s distracted. It’s like you have to keep paying attention to the fire and keep it fueled when it should be the other way around. The Moon wanted to be the last one pulled and by itself, I feel like this is background industry stuff, but something about him got found out and is not the best — I’m not really being allowed in for what it is but it’s the idea of a mask being uncovered of wolf in sheep’s clothing? Something like that.

Why is this happening? (truth or deception)

I’m just repeating myself at this point. Also some cards fell while moving them back, and two of cups reversed was under the king. So. It’s the same stuff again; a new fixation so his priorities are lying elsewhere, but since this is a common theme it’s a feeling of being tired. If you look at the art within the lovers, the main female is watching it go down. I think there was an attempt at some sort of discussion about concerns or frustrations, but this seven of wands seems to be from his point of view? It’s a bit of both; not backing down and letting him know that they’re upset, but also not backing down to complaints and feeling attacked in a way (because you could say these complaints are coming from ‘beneath’ him I guess). This page…I weirdly feel like it was a choice. She’s smirking and holding an orb. It’s kind of like an ultimatum. Like either you get it or we aren’t doing shit for/with/under you anymore. Long thoughts here; the lovers + 2oC can speak to affairs, and that's what I thought but it got brushed off. A lot of things got brushed off. It felt like someone didn't want me to actually figure stuff out but I was still being allowed in, so I can see something being thrown out to the public that isn't actually the problem. What I think is happening is that an affair was spotted and it dug up a lot. Too much and accidentally dug up something deeper, which is the previous moon issue that I can't get to. So the lovers issue started this, someone thought they could use it as like, ammo? (7oW), but it didn't work. PoW might be someone else plotting therefore the sneaky yet patient energy? However judgement stays the same. KoP is having a disgusting grip of a situation leaning into a shitty ego.

How does ____ see Scooter (with many afterthoughts lmao)

Taylor: Blunt. Petty tiresome arguments, a man of financial gain and someone to work with, but not a good mix in the end || Is this current energy? I can't see why there would be current petty attacks between them because that would be more swords energy? Either way, plenty of disagreements.

Demi: Not good. Might have started off nice but eventual control issues and overbearing tendencies leaded to a lack of emotional happiness. Getting a feeling that they understood when to let people not good for them slip through their fingers and move on. They want to speak a lot about this but that’s for them to say on their own time lol. || They wanted to say a lot. They are probably going to speak up first or when they do they're not going to shut up. I also kept thinking of Kesha when reading for Demi so?????

Ariana: ...I think she was too busy with other stuff and could not. He was not her main focus LOL. She understands that she needs to do a lot of work for herself in a way, cause I’m getting this skeleton is him. Which is why he’s not like..coming up. This Tower feels more like ‘I’m already dealing with a lot are you serious’, it’s not like it’s a surprise but it’s more like, it was bound to happen but it’s just inconvenient, as the tower always is. I can’t remember her rising, is it earth lmao || Objectively, the tower is supposed to be someone who brings an unpleasant change to your life or isn't supposed to stay anyway and you know they weren't meant for you. I don't know their connection I'm only familiar with the issue of Taylor's. Was she with him and tried to leave and it didn't work cause that's the only thing I can think of (unstable), or this could just be speaking of the personal affairs going on in her life as I mentioned. Hanged Man in this case seems like someone who stays in the same situation for so long that they've turned to dust so in general, not a compatable person to her and it just is what it is

Justin: Again like explorative but scatterbrained. Not getting that Justin is very emotionally involved or distressed just like. Done. Whatever option was less annoying he would’ve chose. || I always pick up on a...unattached energy from Justin, even looking at his chart. I don't know what he's experiencing right now but he's very much 'I just don't want to think about much'

Bighit/Hybe: Uh. Um. Either he has unfinished business with them that’s he’s ignoring because he’s in child mode or they heard all this news about him and maybe he’s shirking off responsibilities and Bighit/Hybe is kind of like ‘what the heck we’re supposed to be doing these deals or running these albums through these months’ and he’s just. Not responding. Not looking too fun. A bit of it feels like, because of the visuals, he could’ve had a long deal with them but they’re probably going to also cut him off after this unless something changes (keys to the castle but it’s blocked right now). || Could also have something to do with just cutting off contracts due to appearances if the moon issue is that bad.

Overall, Demi and Taylor feel the most emotionally invested. Ariana just seems tired and wants to move onto other things. Justin does not care lmao. Bighit/Hybe is just business.

Outcome

Before I even get into this, "One Of Us" from lion king 2 is playing while i fix this up. this is a fucking joke lmao, so maybe we will find out.

This will highlight some issues within himself for him to see, so there’s a chance he’ll kick his ass into gear to fix them. Some of them. There’s a chance that he won’t be facing said issues and approaching it with the ‘well I’m aware so that’s half the battle’ mindset. So implementing the change when it shows but not completely changing himself for the better. We will not be seeing this at all, and probably no one besides those that he feels comfortable venting to? So to everyone else it’ll look like he’s ignoring all of this, which will cause some frustration and more critique, some probably more harsh than it needs to be? Is the energy I get. The four of wands feels more public than close community, so if The Moon from way before gets out to us in some way, then I can understand the need for apology because I keep getting people demanding explanation or apologies from him. I think wish you back, like volcano, contains a deeper meaning besides missing a lover. THE ENTIRE SONG IS A EUPHEMISM FOR WANTING YOUR OLD/CHILDHOOD SELF BACK SHSHDJDJEK TELL ME IM WRONG

firstly, the chorus. "you were my story" is his younger self, his past self, which is why it's his story - it's his life. he gathers those memories and looks at the photographs of him when he was younger, and cherishes them because he can't go back. he's reminiscing about the past, the good times that he once had, when he had no worries and was happy.

the first verse is even more obvious: maybe he's going through something, or in the process of growing up, he slowly lost the sense of carefreeness and happiness he once had. and it makes him think back to those times when he still had those feelings. he wonders if he'll lose that memory, too. "put your small hands together" is an even more obvious hint that he was a kid then. "in the days when every moment was beautiful and splendid" is EXACTLY the feeling you have as a child where you're not consumed by worries and anxiety. "you were the main character in the movie called me" JUST CONFIRMS IT. because ONLY HIS PAST SELF CAN BE THE MAIN CHARACTER OF HIS MOVIE AHSJEKKEKE

and he says that even if he travels around the world, fill his mind with other thoughts, he can't outrun it, because this feeling is inside of him. he can't escape it.

he wishes his old self back. he's tired of "sitting in a room all day long and turning off the light". he doesn't feel okay, but he knows that he can't go back to the past. you can't rewind time, and even though maybe his past self made a promise to himself to not be defeated, it falls forfeit when he had to say goodbye to his past self as he grew up.

and even though he knows this, he's still holding out for a chance that one day, he can be as happy and carefree as his past self was again. he looks at the picture of his younger self and himself right now, and he wants to be able to see himself smile so brightly again in the mirror. he doesn't want to feel this way anymore. so he holds out hope, and waits.

I absolutely love this analysis. Because I truly believe Jisung is very good at self exploration and introspection HOW CAN HE NOT BE. i also love that he talks about missing something and that it hurts and that we accept this hurt because missing someone also means we care, we love, we are human. and that's so beautiful. THE HUMANITY IN HIS SONGS

I mean I can imagine how someone like Ji could miss previous days... it must be a tough life sometimes, going back to being "carefree" or being "no one"... I get that. That makes me emotional because it's not that he doesn't like his life now, missing our younger self is not about hating our life now, it's just about nostalgia and that's so ok. you know, this is ruri's first cherry blossom, since she joined school last summer. so when kaho-chan and sayaka-chan say stuff like "its already been a year..." she can't help but feel a bit jealous. but the spring in california was fun too! studying abroad definitely helped, and she made friends there. but as a high schooler, she's seen one less cherry blossom than everyone else. she wants to cherish it. she's gonna join the first years in seeing the cherry blossom for the first time!

isnt this swing great? it looks like a cherry tree and has a totally natural feel! ruri likes swings. you can swing on them standing up or just casually sitting down, especially on a such a fashionable swing like this. considering how the outfit looks like cherry blossoms, and the swing looks like a tree, isnt it kinda messed up that ruri is like a cherry blossom? if she leaves kaho-chan in charge of flowers, won't she get mad? ...no! she'll probably say, "let's bloom together!" she thinks she's really gotten to know kaho-chan over time. since they've been together for a year now, ahaha. wait, ruri hasn't even been here for a year yet!

murano sayaka is now a second year. now she has a kouhai of her own, she thinks she has to work even harder. this doesn't go only for herself, but kaho-san and rurino-san as well. they all have a new kouhai, so they've all been busy. she's been so disorganised she almost forgot, but she managed to sort out this cherry blossom outfit just in time. she left the details to kaho-san, and it turned out like this. ...does this hairstyle suit her?

let's talk about her kouhai. her name is kachimachi kosuzu, and in short, she's a hard worker. sayaka thinks all of the club members are working hard, but kosuzu-san is... very earnest. it's like looking at herself from last year. that may be a little selfcentred, but she does see similarities. she wants to achieve something, and if she can't, she wont be able to acknowledge herself. of course, working hard is common, but the work itself is rarely appreciated. sayaka thinks that's quite lonely. that's why she wants kosuzu-san to work hard, and she wants to support her efforts. she wants to do her best as a senpai this year

harukaze buranko kaho: ginko-chan, please! ehehe, yay! i love shops like these since i visit fabric shops with kozue-senpai! oh, but ill be quiet, promise... yeah, quiet observation only...

spring is here! so kaho tried blooming on this swing! she's a cherry blossom! the main point of this outfit is of course the pink dress, but she loves the socks too! the flower accessory is so cute! she's gonna bring spring to everyone with this outfit full of flowers!

big announcement! hinoshita kaho has become a second year! so she's decided to wake up five minutes earlier than she used to! "that's it?" no! five minutes a day for 365 days adds up to around thirty hours of extra time! hinoshita kaho is gonna be a bit different this year, so look forward to it, everyone!

reflection in the mirror was originally a song called "sakasama no uta," and written in the days of performing arts club. its a song ginko's grandmother loved and hummed often, and now ginko has sung it on stage just like her grandmother did... she's so, so happy. she's going to sing it over and over until everyone understands her feelings

the lyrics of the original sakasama no uta were quite different to how they are now. it used to be a song to encourage oneself. but it was changed to reflection in the mirror, a song about believing in oneself when with someone special. this may be just ginko guessing, but she thinks the person who first changed the song did it to encourage someone extremely dear to them. they even changed the lyrics of a traditional song for that person, how selfish... school idols are. they were probably just like kaho-senpai, weren't they?

hime loves identity. the first time she saw it was megu-chan-senpai and ruri-chan-senpai's version of it last year. hm... its like she could feel their stubbornness. but after finding out its a traditional song, it was fun wondering how much of their feelings they put into it. from megu-chan-senpai's lyrics to where ruri-chan-senpai sings "ichiban no fan to shite," she loves it so much. maybe it was a solo song, but she can really feel megu-chan and ruri-chan's bond in the way they divided the parts. that's why she was so worried about singing that identity with them. when they discussed what to do with the parts, megu-chan-senpai said she could do what she likes. and so hime wanted megu-chan and ruri-chan to sing about their feelings, and for herself to support them. she was worried about whether her interpretation was okay, but she wanted identity to be like this this year. they accepted her idea, and she was so happy

identity's tune is completely different this year, isn't it? it's probably changed a lot up til now, but this is how it is this year. hime was selfish with the lyrics, but didn't know what to do for the rest of the song, so she left it to megu-chan-senpai and ruri-chan-senpai. they told her they wanted to show off the evolution of mirakura park's fun now that she's joined. they respected her so fast... they're so nice... they added something like the fun of gaming to the song for some explosive power, which made her really happy. a stage where she can sing with and wear the same outfits as megu-chan-senpai and ruri-chan... she's super nervous, but she'll do her best so she won't mess up. this is her first step, towards her dream, and towards her identity too. so she's gonna do her best to show it all!

sparkly spot kosuzu: make flowers, make flowers, make flowers... please wait, sayaka-senpai! kachimachi won't give up! huh? ive made too many? oh no! ive failed! tsuzuri-senpai said i can hand out the extras to everyone! so its okay!

after the fes×live kosuzu was so out of it she didn't even know if she had successfully completed the challenge. she was doing her best to do what sayaka-senpai had told her, her mind went blank, she managed to move her body, and somehow it was over. tsuzuri-senpai poked her on the cheek, and she realised the lights of her first performance had been turned off. tsuzuri-senpai just told her, "that was good," and she nodded in her daze but didn't understand what she meant. she was worried about it, so she went to see her again that night, and she said, "suzu did her best. that was good." was it really? she still doesn't really understand what tsuzuri-senpai means...

kosuzu made too many flowers so she handed them out after the performance. it made her happy that tsuzuri-senpai called them "proof of her hard work." three of the best flowers she made were the ones that her senpai wore, and that made her happy too! she successfully completed this challenge! she was able to puff out her chest a little, and tsuzuri-senpai praised her! but on stage it's different... sayaka-senpai's performance was of course so cool. she's so reliable and has such a large shadow. and tsuzuri-senpai sparkles like she's a different person when she's onstage. kachimachi was glad to stand on stage, but she doesn't think her performance is a success yet, so she's going to work even harder! it's okay as long as she works hard! she'll keep working hard until she thinks she's succeeded!

the seiran no koi nagashi outfits were made by the first years based on the [kunpuu no shirabe] outfits the senpai made last year. hime-san is good with her hands, and she seemed to have learned quickly. and kosuzu-san was... certainly enthusiastic. and of course they also received help from their senpai. as expected from such a prestigious school. they were all good at needlework, especially kozue-senpai and sayaka-senpai. if those two were to keep working at it, they could surpass ginko in no time. all that is needed is diligence. for both sewing and for being a school idol

ginko just found out kaho-senpai used to be sick... oh no... what if she said something rude to her by accident... senpai, are you still unable to move your body properly? you're better now? right...! so you simply didn't have strength...! good... ah, being relieved your senpai is healthy is perfectly normal, there's no special meaning. rather, you have to take responsibility after inviting her to cerise bouquet. not that kind of responsibility! please don't misunderstand!

it's been a month since hime joined hasunosora. there's been so much fun. she's become even more obsessed with mirakura park... but not only that, everyone's been working hard together. her classmates, ginko-chan and kosuzu-chan, are both hard workers? but in different ways. ginko-chan has been working hard for tradition from the beginning, while kosuzu-chan has been working hard... in all directions? when hime sees them she feels she has to work hard as well, and she thinks they're really good classmates she wants to keep working with

oh yeah, hime tried to properly spread the word of gaming to ginko-chan and kosuzu-chan. ginko-chan had a hard time moving with the keyboard while looking at the screen, and it was funny how, if you only watched her face, she seemed like a pro gamer. kosuzu-chan was really talkative. hime was watching her from behind, but she was controlling the camera so wildly she couldn't even tell what was happening. if it isn't a bother to them, hime would like to continue hanging out and teaching them until they think gaming is fun. that might be her goal these days. oh, she tried spreading the word of mirakura park to them too, but that didn't go very well... everyone just really loves their own senpai

kosuzu successfully completed the tamagoyaki challenge on her fifth try! huh? aren't there fewer sides? tsuzuri-senpai! don't eat those!

this is a story from a month ago, but when kachimachi started high school, she wanted to do everything she could to find something she could do, and to never give up no matter how many times she failed. but now... its a bit different. she doesn't know how to word it properly, but there's this really amazing person called sayaka-senpai. kachimachi's senpai and classmates all have things they want to do that they're working towards, but when she looked at it like that, she thought continuing to try to achieve your future goal after already failing once is really cool. kachimachi may not have a "future goal" of her own but... she wants to be just like sayaka-senpai one day. huh? maybe that can be her "future goal"!

one month... one whole month passed in no time at all! this is the first time kachimachi has ever felt time passing this fast. it always felt so slow at home and school. like it felt it was almost lunch when it was only ten minutes into first period. she never had this many challenges either, but she was able to leave home and come to this boarding school where she has so many things she wants to try out! and its definitely because of everyone working hard on so many things! everyone is doing things kachimachi wouldn't be able to think of on her own! every day is so much fun!

it is said that you pray to the god of school idols at kanda myoujin. kozue came to visit again this year. she's glad she was able to visit on her school trip. she prayed for the success and safety of the live [she went during hasu 1st=tokyo lives as well]

the song they performed, 365 days, is a traditional song passed down in the hasunosora jogakuin school idol club. for this important milestone of a live for their new beginning as nine, they borrowed this song left by their senpai, and and conveyed their thoughts in order to connect the past and the present, and the present and the future. kozue would be very happy if they were able to touch the hearts of everyone who listened

there will never be a day like today, or yesterday, or all 365 days of the year again. the passage of time is cruel and not something we can turn back. everyone should understand this, but kozue can't help but wish... that today lasts forever. she thinks school idols write songs because of that same wish. even after everyone and everything has passed on, the songs and the memories remain here. thanks for the encore today, everyone! this song, 365 days, is a traditional hasunosora song thats been passed down for ages! but of course they changed the lyrics and rearranged the music a little for themselves. how was it? a masterpiece, right? actually, this song had never been on megumi's radar, but listening to it after becoming a third year got to her. its tricky like that, the passing of time. no matter what she tries she ends up getting all emotional. today was a super good live! make sure to remember it forever and ever, okay?

personally, megumi doesn't believe in something like "an eternity that never fades no matter how many years go by." memories are forgotten, and if you listen to a song over and over again, you'll eventually get over it. a painful reality? no! its exactly why megumi wants to deliver brand new fun every day! but, well... no matter how unattainable, impossible, or unrealistic a dream may be, school idols are the ones dreaming and singing about it. so let's watch this dream together for now. besides, maybe if everyone who came today believes, she'll be able to find it. you know, kaho's mom called her earlier to say happy birthday, and said she had found a letter kaho had written to her future self when she was younger. she doesn't remember what she wrote at all. let's see... sayaka realised something for the first time when she saw her kouhai chasing her back. someone watching her means her presence has more of an impact than she thought. even though she herself had done the same with her sister and tsuzuri-senpai, she had never really thought about what it would be like to be someone somebody admired. she tried chasing after her sister, but failed. she thought she wanted to be just like tsuzuri-senpai, but was told she wasn't. so she had learned that's just the way things are. but just because it was like that for her doesn't mean it's the same for someone else too. kosuzu-san's honest feelings sparkled as they were, and sayaka learned a lot from her. she's glad kosuzu-san is her kouhai... kosuzu-san may not think of that as a compliment though

ladybug. this song was completed over the course of one month, with the mission of creating a song that showed off kosuzu-san's colours- no. that's not true. sorry, please let sayaka retract that. almost everything she had worked on over the month was scrapped, because she had misunderstood kosuzu-san's colour. her dreams, her aspirations, her feelings, they all stuck with her, so she rewrote it all the day she learned of kosuzu-san's true feelings. therefore, she is personally very attached to these lyrics. especially the last two phrases, which she had wanted to add at the very last moment, so she decided on them right before the performance ["i realised we're dreaming the same dream"]. kosuzu-san seemed she was having fun singing it, but sayaka wonders if she understood... that she saved her

kachimachi wanted to tell sayaka-senpai she admired her, she wanted to be like her, and that she wasn't wrong to. she's probably wrong about a lot of things, she knows that, but she didn't want to accept she was wrong about this so easily. she wonders what she should have done back then. she's sure that if she had been someone else, she wouldn't have hurt sayaka-senpai like that. kachimachi couldn't do anything else besides what she did, so she'll do her best next time to convey her feelings a bit better!

instead of talking about the useless kachimachi, let's talk about sayaka-senpai instead! sayaka-senpai is amazing! when she gave kachimachi special training, she matched the choreography perfectly! at the time, it was so natural she didn't notice, but kosuzu realised later how amazing that was! after all, she was acting as her mirror! she had memorised kachimachi's choreography and did it in the opposite direction to kachimachi, but she was dancing like it was normal! wow... she's so far ahead... but you know. sayaka-senpai told her she had started out by looking up to someone too. so kachimachi will continue doing her best without abandoning this feeling! she hopes sayaka-senpai will be proud of her one day!

tsuzuri thought it was a good idea when she came up with it, but saya seemed to be having a hard time, so she was a bit confused. the lyrics of a new dollchestra song, showing off suzu's colour. she had wondered if she'd be alright, but saya said she'd do her best, so tsuzuri decided to leave it to her. before saya and the others went to tsuruga, when she asked how it was going, she said she'd have it done soon. but it didn't feel like saya was very responsive. since saya and suzu were going to have a live in tsuruga, tsuzuri hoped it'd go well. but it was interesting. after they got back from tsuruga and she showed her the song, the lyrics were completely different to the ones she'd heard before. she really likes them. suitable choreography came to her immediately, so it must be a really good song. everyone's looking forward to it too

it was a shame that she, kozu, and megu couldn't make it to the tsuruga live, but after coming back from tokyo and seeing all the first and second years, tsuzuri thought maybe that was a good thing. the third years had fun talking among themselves, and the first years all became even more sparkling school idols. she's sure it's because their good senpai were with them. of course saya, but kaho and ruri too. this year's school idol club will be even better than last year's. the more people you come into contact with and the more friends you make, the more things you will notice, and the more fun things there will be, is what she thinks. not only the school idol club, but the more people support them, the better school idols they will be. don't you think?

when kozue was a child, each time her birthday came around, she'd say, "im going to be a school idol one day!" but eventually, she noticed it made her mother look a little upset, so she stopped saying it. as the heir of the otomune family, there were times where she wondered whether she ought to pursue a career in music. but in the end, she couldn't give up on her dream, so she properly talked to her mother about it without hiding her true feelings. and so it was on her fifteenth birthday when she was told, "if you're so determined as to say that, then go ahead." it's been three years since then, and she's celebrated with so many people at hasunosora, all thanks to everyone. she doesn't think it was a mistake to show courage on that day. she's... truly happy

ishikawa is the prefecture with the highest precipitation rate, as it rains nearly 30% of the year. it sort of... calms ginko down. come to think of it, doesn't kozue-senpai feel like rain? she's so calm and graceful. maybe ginko likes the sound of rain

bloom the dream is a new hasunosora song made by the second years of the school idol club. ginko thinks its a wonderful song, with a bright and beautiful melody and everyone's voices harmonising together. she was given some solo parts too. there was a part where all nine of them sang consecutively, which made her really nervous. well... not like she's any less nervous for unit songs... kozue-senpai is so beautiful and a very good singer... and kaho-senpai... whenever they're on stage she always catches her looking at her... she really makes her nervous...!

ginko thinks it's truly amazing that the second year senpai can actually make songs. rurino-senpai is very school idol-like, but in a slightly different way to kaho-senpai. it may be rude to talk about her senpai like this, but... she's so small and cute... in addition, when she was writing the music, she explained to ginko what she was doing. but then she'd say, "im running out of charge..." ginko completely understands the feeling of not wanting to talk to anyone. when she talks to kosuzu-san or kaho-senpai, she sometimes wants to be by herself too. hm? she knows a lot about rurino-senpai? actually, hime-san talks about mirakura park all the time, so she may have ended up subconsciously relating to her...

bloom the dream is amazing, isn't it! the songs kachimachi knew up til now were ones that tsuzuri-senpai had made smoothly or ones that already existed, so this was the first time she'd been able to see the song being made. she was so impressed, like "so this is how it's done!" while rurino-senpai was composing it, she watched her like, "wow...!" and while kaho-senpai listened to it over and over and wrote each lyric, she watched her like, "wow...!" as well! at the end, sayaka-senpai received the baton from them both and came up with the choreography! as the three of them discussed it and it gradually came together, she thought "that's so cool...!" kachimachi was just cheering them on, but she wants to try making a song too! kachimachi really likes how a song created by combining strengths is also a song where everyone's strengths are combined... she doesn't really know, but something about how songs are made matching your feelings... but maybe she's completely wrong about that!

the rainy season is here. if there are lots of rainy days, it can be a bit difficult for kachimachi. after all, its still dark in the mornings! she thinks, "oh, it's not time to wake up yet," and since she's so gullible when she's just woken up, she ends up falling back to sleep. its bad when you trick yourself isn't it? she overslept again today and had to rush to leave, but it was pouring down! she should have gone back to her room to get her umbrella, but since she was in a hurry she just dashed to school as she was! everyone was really worried about her and it was a bit embarrassing... she won't challenge herself to not use an umbrella in the rain no matter what! unless she can avoid all the raindrops... ah, maybe she could do it when it's only drizzling...

hime got to watch her second year senpai make a song. since megu-chan-senpai told her itd be helpful. hime thought creating a song was something that you could do only after lots and lots of practice, but she changed her mind after seeing ruri-chan-senpai working hard and humming to herself as she thought. after all, if you never decide to start, you'll never be able to move forward even a single step. kosuzu-chan told her immediately that she'd do her best next time, and that kind of aggressiveness is pretty motivating. ruri-chan-senpai has actually written a few songs from the beginning, and she really respects her for that. she wants to learn how to write music from ruri-chan-senpai. since it'd be nice to be able to turn her feelings into a song. songs are one of the best parts of school idols, that power to convey things you like

the rainy season has begun, hasn't it. when hime listens to bloom the dream, she thinks of how flowers can bloom in both cold and hot seasons. they won't bloom just because it's nice. dreams are the same, they won't bloom if you're just having fun. well, she said something like this to herself when she was sucking in her game. because even when times were hard, she always believed victory would be hers one day. so in that sense, they're really moving, kaho-senpai's lyrics. amazing... there can be a today because of all the days that came before. its the same for everyone

this is the mirapa of right now at full power! they're gonna get even stronger! you know, ruri really messed up with himecchi, and she's really sorry about that. she was so enthusiastic, and ruri knew she was looking out for her. but ruri tried to do everything on her own. but himecchi forgave her. she feels like she's finally figured out how to get along with kouhai, or rather, how to face them. actually, she was probably the least used to all this senpai kouhai stuff. she really didn't know what it meant to consider her kouhai a partner. but she doesn't think her relationship with megu-chan has changed. if there's something missing, they can make up for it. she wants to build that kind of relationship with himecchi too!

ruri was able to do the thing she wanted. ruri helped everyone do what they wanted, which is what she wanted too, but she was glad she was able to do something fun she thought up herself. everyone liked it, and she feels like she was able to cherish every day leading up to the nadeshiko sai. ruri wanted everyone to have fun doing the preparations too. of course, she can do her best with the motivation from thinking to herself that although its a pain now, the festival will be fun, but she's sure that's hard for some people. she's super super grateful to himecchi for helping her do it, and to megu-chan for pushing her forward. megu-chan knew what she wanted. and himecchi told her she'll support her even more from now on! mirakura park are great!

they performed miracreation! this is a song by the mirakura park of the 104th year! mirakura park... of the 104th year... hime had been so stupid. megu-chan and ruri-chan are the best, so cool and cute... but that's only the part of them she could see. its amazing that that's the only part they show of themselves, but if she were a real member for real, she should have done her best so that she can see and support the parts of them that aren't like that... but today was the first time she realised it. hime will do everything she can to follow up on the things ruri-chan-senpai wants to do, just like ruri-chan-senpai did for her!

ginko is now a member of the hasunosora jogakuin school idol club, which she's admired since she was a child. this is the first step, the beginning of her story. she hopes one day she will be somebody to be proud of

its so cool that dream believers is a song that has been passed down from generation to generation of the club! when kachimachi first saw the sheet music, she felt she was seeing something big. not tall like tsuzuri-senpai or kozue-senpai, but like a building! its really big now, but for the people who first built it, it must have only been a one story building. um, you get it? she doesn't think she's very good at analogies...

dream believers is a traditional song, but hime thinks she's someone the total opposite of tradition... gaming isn't old, and the games she plays feel newest of the new. but it seems starting from this year, they allowed applying for hasunosora through gaming. so she's grateful. thank you for letting her join tradition. she and gaming are new, so she wants them both to become part of tradition one day. she wants to cherish what has been built so far and to be able to build upon it in the future. uh, maybe she's being too serious... nyahaha

the road to completion for a piece of embroidery is a long one. only a small amount of progress is made a day, but if you keep working on it, it'll be completed with time. that is, it will never be completed if you wait. you must create your dreams. no matter how many times you fail, unpick the thread and start again. no matter how long it takes

hime applied for hasunosora so she could learn from megu-chan-senpai and ruri-chan-senpai from up close. she wanted to be a streamer that brought fun to everyone, just like them. of course, she did a lot of research first. looking at megu-chan's cute poses and ruri-chan's casual warmth... for research! but she couldn't help going back to rewatch the archives over and over again... megu-chan-senpai seems to have noticed her streams, and she was so happy, but she has a long way to go. she's still learning how to be an original and fun streamer! but in the best place! she's gonna do her best, so that one day she can show she's worthy enough to be in mirakura park!

ginko's skirt is so short you can see so much of her legs... she doesn't normally dress like this, so its embarrassing, but she's been prepared for this ever since she decided to join the club

there's a big difference between seeing something and doing it for yourself. ginko's always wanted to join the performing arts club, because of her grandmother, so she's admired the cute costumes and the singing and dancing... but now it's her turn, she sweats a lot. during the performance, she has to focus and she feels fine, but when they review the video after, with her serious expression, she doesn't look like a school idol at all... she'll have to practise smiling properly for the next live

the school idol club is said to do everything themselves, but in fact, they are helped by many people. they are taught about outfits from the costume design club, and get help from the art and drama clubs for their stages, and ask people from the music club for feedback when they're worried about their song writing. they are able to stand on stage thanks to everyone's help. kozue will continue to work diligently and never forget this

kachimachi came to hasunosora to change herself. its difficult to be somewhere she has to do everything on her own, but she's going to do her best. her senpai tell her she's a hard worker, so thank you! she's gonna do her best! chesto!

oh, "chesto" is something kachimachi's grandpa told her to keep herself motivated. he's amazing. he's old, but when he goes fishing he's the one pulling up nets and shouting chesto more than anyone else. kachimachi's family are all fishers who all work hard from early in the morning, and he's the leader. when she was a kid, she wanted to help out too and tried lots of things and ended up doing something dangerous... since then, she hasn't been allowed to do anything. its not like she's good enough to do anything anyway though... that's why she wants to try her best. sayaka-senpai and tsuzuri-senpai are really nice but kachimachi wants to find something she's good at so she doesn't depend on them so much!

this year, dollchestra has become a three person group. tsuzuri-senpai, sayaka, and a new student, kachimachi kosuzu-san. sayaka likes hard workers. no matter whether their goal is specific or vague. sayaka realised her specific goals were quite vague, so she doesn't see much value in specifics. she just wants to reward hard work

last year tsuzuri met saya. its been a year since then. april is full of new things. she was thinking about that, and ended up in saya's classroom by accident. she doesn't know if they're using the same desks, but saya was sitting where she sat just a little while ago. she doesn't know if they're using the same desks. maybe she will if she asks. the desk she's going to be using this year was probably used by someone last year. good luck to everything. spring is the season of farewells and meetings

this year tsuzuri met suzu. she thinks she's the only one who think she's like a mirror. suzu got mad when she asked though. saya was smiling for some reason. suzu probably doesn't know yet. tsuzuri is different to the tsuzuri of before. it was painful not being able to do anything. so she decided to do something. that's what she did last year. so she's definitely going to be rooting for suzu more than anyone else

hime's favourite phrase is "having fun is the most important!"

hime used to just be a middle schooler who was good at games, but now she's in high school she started being a school idol. she loved mirakura park, and dreamt of being someone who brought fun to everyone just like them. she applied to hasunosora non academically, and was worrying whether to be a streamer or a school idol like mirakura park, but when megu-chan and ruri-chan invited her, she decided she was ready. she's gonna give back to her beloved game through her beloved mirakura park!

last year, hime won a student tournament and got into hasunosora because of it. its amazing how she got into school because of a game. she thought hasunosora was quite modern because of that, but it seems it only started being allowed this year. she was saved by the good timing. but it also means gaming has only just started being recognised, so she can't do anything weird and ruin gaming's reputation, so she has to study hard and be on her best behaviour. uh, her grades? theyre average

ruri's been a school idol with megu-chan, oh, her childhood friend fujishima megumi-chan since last year, but actually they only started in the summer. until then, she was studying abroad, so this spring ruri feels she's still a first year. she's gonna do her best along with the new students

first years joining the school idol club means there's also first years joining the other clubs too. so, there'll be a lot of kids watching ruri this year! mirakura park is a unit where "having fun is the most important!" so ruri wants to have more fun than last year. she's also grown a lot since last year! besides her height... she can do loads more now! except reach high places... anyway! please support her this year too!

megumi's always loved entertaining people. she even used to be a talent on tv! she was pretty popular and had a regular programme, but due to some minor reasons she ended up at hasunosora, and her career as a talent suspended. just when she was wondering what to do, she found out about school idols! at first it was a casual thing. like, she knew kozue, tsuzuri, and sachi-senpai were interesting girls, but before she knew it school idols became something so important to her! and she bets... its all because of... you ♡ hey! did your heart skip a beat?

its interesting, after they changed into their outfits, all the senpai were talking about how they could make them even cuter. such as changing their hairstyles or accessorising. ginko thought their outfits were complete once they were finished making them, but she was wrong. she learns something new every day

what ginko does on her days off? well, she likes sewing in her room, and taking walks outside. if she sees a store that seems interesting, she'll have a look. yes, by herself. why doesn't she go out with somebody else? somebody else? who? oh... right. now she's in high school, she should try her best to make friends. she'll do her best to make friends with her fellow 104th year students to begin with, kosuzu-san and hime-san

kaho spends her days off reading and watching cute animal videos. oh, but after joining hasunosora she started watching school idol streams. and going out to kanazawa with her friends and senpai! the shopping mall being just one bus away is the best! the big city of kanazawa is amazing! but she hasn't given up yet! if there's a mall next to school, you can go shopping straight after!

kozue came to hasunosora, the most prestigious school idol club in kanazawa, to follow her childhood dream of being a school idol. she's met some precious friends, and many of her dreams have come true along the way. but there is still one dream that has not yet come true. she would appreciate if you would cheer her along on her path to her dream

the pressure of performing live in the same outfit as kachimachi's senpai was honestly tough, so even though she was nervous, she felt bad for her senpai who told her they could work together. so she has to do everything she can! she's probably gonna fail a lot. and every time she does, she's probably gonna think she's no good after all, but she's determined not to give up! she's really glad that her challenging herself is being recognised. she's being supported to do her best just because she's working hard. so she's gonna keep working hard so that one day, her senpai and everyone else will think they're glad she's here!

there are two girls in the same year as kachimachi in the club. ginko-chan and hime-chan. they're both amazing. ginko-chan has a clear idea of what she wants to do, and she knows what she has to do to achieve it. hime-chan has already done something amazing. she's a champion! and she says she's gonna do her best with the things she wants to do now as a streamer with mirakura park! with her two classmates working hard to achieve their goals, kachimachi's feeling a bit tense. her goal is to be a cool school idol like sayaka-senpai. she can do things easily that kachimachi would challenge herself to do but fail at. unlike her, when she gets tired with school idol practice she goes to practice her figure skating instead. she's so cool. she really admires her

when she thinks about it, expressing herself to others is something sayaka has been working on the past year. whether it be to the people supporting them, or to her friends. actually, there isn't that much of a difference. she'd like to learn together the importance of expressing yourself and the difficulty of applying it to a performance. fortunately, her kouhai-san is a hard worker, so this shouldn't be hard. ...well, each of her failures are quite dramatic so it's her job to follow up on them. ...that, that's hardly a change from last year, isn't it?

the school idol clubroom is amazing. there's always someone there no matter when tsuzuri goes. since there are eight of them now. oh, nine including her. that means the time where nobody's around is basically zero. a club where you can see the people you love without having to message them. she likes school idol clubs like that

the more people there are the more laughter there is. tsuzuri doesn't know what's funny sometimes, but it's fun seeing everyone laugh. there's still a lot she doesn't know about suzu, gin, and hime, but she'd like to find out. she feels she could laugh more if she does. she's looking forward to this year

this year, hime will be learning a lot from megu-chan-senpai and ruri-chan-senpai! megu-chan is bright, fun, and cute, and she has a mysterious charm that makes you like whatever she likes. ruri-chan is warm, fun, and kind, and she has this amazing vibe that whenever hime sees her makes her want to do her best! that's what hime wants to learn from them. oh... she forgot to call them senpai... megu-chan-senpai and ruri-chan-senpai. she has to be careful with her mirapa otaku habits...

hime's big sister is her only family, and she was the one who worked and raised her. she's already amazing for that, but she also bought hime a pc since she worried she wouldn't have anything to talk about with her friends. that's how she got into games. hime got good and started entering tournaments, so that her sister would be proud of her

ruri has moved up a year, gained some kouhai, and megu-chan has become a third year too. it feels like everything's changed all at once, but that's just how april is. man, she's pretty nervous. this is her third time being a second year but its actually the first time she's gotten to be with kouhai properly, since in california she didn't have club activities. it seems hime-chan has known about them for a while. she's really excited about having joined mirakura park, but this is a tough one for ruri. can she keep up being the "ruri-chan" hime-chan respects so much?

ruri said to megu-chan, "isn't disillusionment scary?" ruri's glad that hime-chan loves megururi so much, but isn't that just stream megururi? megu-chan didn't seem to care at all though, saying they can keep being the same as usual... ruri actually apologised up front, saying "sorry if i disillusion you," but then hime-chan started apologising too, like, "no! i should be the one whos sorry!!" like, huh? man, she's a funny kid. ruri's gonna do her best

oh yeah! so, for any newcomers in the audience, megu-chan's gonna explain it from the beginning! megu-tou are like megu-chan's cheer squad, and there are fifty million members in the country! everyone loves megu-chan soo much! megu-chan wants everyone around the world to love her even more! of course, megu-chan loves the megu-tou. so its totally mutual!

jem carstairs // 不忘

a/n: i spent way too much time on this. is finding essays fun a red flag?

jem carstairs, a boy with a tragic past who came to london with nothing but his violin, a terminal illness and his kindred soul, is arguably one of the best characters ever written, hands down. despite his hardships, he makes sure that everyone he cares about feels the deep love he has for them, and would be the type of person to smile when you walk past, no matter if he knew you or not.

one of the main parts of jem’s story is when he is forced to undergo the ritual to transform him into a silent brother for his own survival, at the cost of never marrying the love of his life, the bond between him and his parabatai being forcibly tethered and being separated from his five year home of the london institute. for over one hundred years, he had to watch the people he loved most die, while he was forced to serve the greater good for the shadowhunters. none of these deaths affected him like the death of his parabatai, will herondale.

keeping this in mind, the song 不忘/bù wàng (translation: don’t forget) was sung by singer, wang yibo, for the chinese television series, the untamed (陈情令). it is a beautiful song with such meaning, entirely sung in mandarin (jem’s first language), composed with a combination of chinese and western instruments, violin included.

now, let’s go through the lyrics that i think are linked to jem:

云深夜微凉

The night in the Cloud Recesses is cool

NOTE: cloud recesses refers to a location in the untamed tv show (you should watch it)

this can be interpreted as jem reflecting on the days of when it was just will and jem. jem often reflects on his time with will and with tessa, so he doesn’t forget how he felt for them, but the runes of a silent brother nulls his emotions. “the bright moon and clear breeze winds around my heart,” can be interpreted as a representation of this experience, having to associate his emotions with objects so he remembers what it is to be human. “gazing into the days long gone” is quite self-explanatory, as jem always has his two favourite people in the back of his mind (annoying the rest of the silent brethren.)

one of jem’s most frequent lines, an automatic reflex of his, is the question “will, is that you?” sadly enough, i would only imagine that this reflex doesn’t leave him. the first part of the chorus can be interpreted as an internalised monologue, telling himself that will is gone (because will is indeed a relentless fool). “asking again the departed people:” constantly imagining will in his mind, giving him some sort of sarcastic remark or some genuine advice. and the last sentence, “black and white, praise and blame, what is it all worth?” refers to jem’s inner turmoil towards the end of his time in the silent brotherhood.

okay, this is the last verse of the last chorus. jem finally returns to the shadowhunter world, as jem carstairs. he is free from the restrains of brother zachariah, which ironically is the name he chose for himself when joining the brotherhood as it means “remember.” he finally has a chance at a normal life, without yin fen, without weird steampunk things walking around, without a dark war occuring (for the time being), and yet he still thinks of will. he only got to have will for five years, and for a love so big, jem had mourned his entire lifetime for all the time he lost.

the great andrew garfield said, “i hope this grief stays with me, because it’s all the unexpressed love i didn’t get to tell her,” which has links to the relationship between jem carstairs and will herondale. will won’t see jem marry tessa, or meet jem’s children, or grow old with him - will did that all years and years ago, while jem was trapped in his eighteen year old body for 129 years.

this song, despite being sung by a different character for another man, perfectly describes jem’s life experiences, in particular his relationship to his parabatai. although jem’s character is not limited to just being will’s parabatai or tessa’s husband, the lyrics represent the love he felt for them both and his disconnection to the shadow world, once his eyes and lips are sealed shut.

okay so i did a full breakdown on this song and i figured that i should share it with you guys. hopefully you guys can help me out with this and we can bounce theories off of each other.

(btw i stole stuff from genius lyrics thats why it’s formatted like that)

these are just my personal theories don't come for my throat if you disagree with me pls it's not that deep i promise you.

okay this is gonna be kinda long so

okay my main theory is that this song is between the bishops and the banditos, possibly fighting over tyler and josh.

i think the really deep voices are the bishops speaking. these voices appear multiple times throughout the album and this song specifically.

they are telling tyler/josh/the banditos that they will come for them and they have no chance of escaping them

sai is propaganda directly corresponds with this because we only hear what the bishops want us to hear through tyler and josh.

the only connections that i could really make with these lines is in the last one.

in the song levitate tyler says “ And ever since the seventh grade I learned to fire-breathe ” we know that the banditos like fire as well and use it as their main source of light at their camps. we also see that nico has a blowtorch looking thing to heat up the glass.

i cant figure out much about the switchblade part, since he might have just added it to rhyme or something but if i do i will reblog this post with what i find.

i used to take tae kwan doe, and these are just basic things that you learn while practicing, so maybe he is getting ready to fight something or someone.

okay i might be reaching with this one but hear me out. how many sides does an octagon have? eight right? okay how many bishops are there (minus nico)? eight, that’s correct. also when you look at the city of dema

if you look the right way those little buildings around the center nine, are divided into four sets of two or whatever. this image is a bad example but i don't care enough to look for the right one LMAO.

anyways, to the point. i think notorious in the octagon is a reference to how well know tyler would be in dema, since they all know about twenty one pilots because of the feature performance event.

i think this is actually the banditos trying to reach tyler and josh, not the bishops. why would the bishops tell tyler to run away? they already have him. I also think that home for tyler and josh is with the banditos, not the confines of dema.

the banditos are also telling tyler and josh that they have people on the way to come and save them like they went to save tyler in NATN.

it could be the banditos but i severely doubt it because it is tyler singing and not the deep voice symbolizing the bishops.

okay the bodies everyday part is throwing me off but my best guess is that they may be talking about clancy. we know that scaled and icy is an anagram for clancy is dead, so this could be alluding to that. they could also be talking about the residents of dema that lose their fights in dema and pass away.

“we want you home in one piece” again i think that this is the banditos telling tyler to come home with josh safely and to avoid trouble as best as they can while doing so.

[Verse 2] How'd you get the location? Put together pieces? They say they sell the information In those terms of agreement

this could be about the banditos or the bishops. let me explain.

if it was from the banditos they could be asking the bishops how they got the location of their camp to snatch tyler (levitate music video) in the first place since they cannot see the color yellow.

maybe the banditos sell the information on the bishops and other things to the people trapped in dema (or possibly others???)

if it was the bishops they could be asking the banditos how they get the locations of the residents and how they know to get into dema in the first place.

maybe a dema resident sells information to the banditos (like clancy? we know keons is the nicest bishop from his letters)

We spent some weekends on the grind Surveillances outside, we see when you arrive

this could connect to the outside. we know that the bishops have some sort of surveillance system because on the control center for the live stream it is set up like an old fashioned surveillance system. (i will do a breakdown on that too)

maybe the bishops are telling the banditos they see when they arrive because of said security system.

Ride or die, my son

reminds me of the song ride, whos bishop is listo. so he could be talking to one of his subjects. this could be any bishop really i think that its the bishops and not the banditos because the second time that they repeat this it’s in that super low voice that definitely signifies the bishops speaking.

- from then it is just the chorus and the outro which is the same as the intro.

i will also be doing this for all the songs on scaled and icy and may do it for some on trench and how they correspond to sai.

would u ever analyze disloyal order? it is my favorite fob song but much of the verses honestly confuse tf outta me, particularly the second one. lol

of course! ill do that for you now. fun fact: disloyal order is the song that 100% sold me on fob

to begin with the title, it is a reference i am far too young to get and have just figured out after years of puzzling. its a reference to an elite boys club in the flinstones. disloyal order of water buffaloes as a title is just saying "society is made for a certain kind of people to succeed and its fucked up" and that makes all of the lyrics make so much more sense. its been so long.

the prelude describes the persona coming undone, and turning themself into someone elses ideal. trying to do so leaves them feeling empty inside, since this isnt what they want, this is whats expected of them. this fits nicely into the overarching theme of the album, which is [joker voice] society and how it shapes us for better or (more often), for worse. in fact, disloyal order, as an opener, is an introduction on the essay that is folie à deux, painting broad strokes of a lot of what it covers. the prechorus also touches on this, painting the persona as just a single malfunctioning part of a whole intricate system.

the first verse points to the persona waking up, dazed and covered in wounds, and covincing themself this is normal, and that they wouldnt remember it even if they tried. it goes on to talk about them bein arrested, and them needing medical attention, and that theyre certifiably insane, but also taking care to mention how sensational their story is. this verse tells us about the exploitation of sick people, and about people running themselves into the ground for fame or money. they dont need to be sold as a story, they need to be helped as a person.

the second verse gestures to themes of sex and romance. theres a moment where the persona misinterprets something innocuous as an advance (little girl got me staring odd/or is that just a telescopic camera nod). they then goes on to talk about soliciting sex workers– they can only really interpret woman in the context of being attracted to them. one could argue the line "all the rookies leave your badge and your gun on the desk when you leave the room" could be about inexperienced young lovers being told to sit this one out.

and then, the chorus, which asks people to embrace apathy (boycott love) and to stay ignorant and repeat the same old mistakes (detox just to retox). the line "id promise you anything for another shot at life" implies someone promising to fix everything in exchange for another chance. the last two lines, however, i think are most interestingly read from a meta perspective, ie its the band saying 'no one wants to hear celebrities sing about peoples problems'

i think disloyal order points to one of the main problems i have with folie, which is that its way too ambitious. they wanted to do so much, musically and lyrically, gave themselves too little time to do it, did the whole citizens fob thing, they stuffed a lot onto every song, and i think the albums is worse off for it. dont misconstrue me, folie is a beautiful album that explores a lot of ideas in a genuinely thought provoking manner, and musically i think its extremely well put together. truly its an experience of sound. but i think the concepts dont work together in the way they could. lyrically i think its among the weakest fall out boy albums, because unlike ioh, which is specifically about fame, or mania, which is just about mental health, or futct, which is about a specific relationship and the feelings it evoked, this album is about everything, and it gets that across really well sometimes but just as often it gets that across really okay-ly.

like, in this song alone, which summarises the album, we have 3 very distinct themes– exploitation of vulnerable people, sex and relationships, and apathy being exploited for power. theyre definitely connected, but this one album feels like it shouldve been a triptych, or that one of these themes shouldve been dropped completely (i think number 2 wasnt that necessary). i love it, i really do, its genuinely amazing and its a masterpiece and is so worthy of being anyones favorite. this is just my purely technical (as in based in technique and execution) criticism.
