Your friend, Luke Carder, was more than happy to let you play Inscryption first, especially after this person named... Amanda? showed up at his house. Anyway, you had the disk drive and could actually play it, so as long you gave him footage and the like, he had no issues with you playing it for him.

At first, he was moreso just happy to have someone finally playing the game again and get actually have the ability to do something after such a long time.

He was a little surprised when he felt you change the game and exit out and then back in when he said "Total Misplay" or anything along those lines, and even more intrigued when you actually listened to him when he mentioned more about the other scrybes.

He couldn't see you, no not yet, but he could at least watch your cursor as you hover over options in your hand and still can't choose. Of course, he got bored quickly, going back to thinking about how much he hates Leshy for forcing him into an organic body, and a stoat at that.

When he finally gets back into his robotic form due to your success in beating Leshy, he instantly connects himself to every part of your computer, quickly asserting himself to hear everything you say and even how you look. You look... not bad for a human. Of course, you'd look better Robot-ified, but still, not bad for a human.

He has mixed opinions on the scrybe you choose to replace, if it's Leshy, he's ecstatic about that, eager to see you destroy him, even if you destroy all of them technically, but he's so eager to watch Leshy's face for betrayal. If it's Grimora or Magnificus? He's okay with it, neutral about it. I mean, he knows it would suck about Grimora, she's very sweet and kind, but no big loss. But if you choose him?

He laughs to himself at your optimism, thinking you beat him? He's 4 steps ahead of you, always watching and all knowing, smarter and better than you. Well, you and that annoying guy you bring around sometimes to give him recordings.

'Luke', He agonizes over that name. He's insulted that you stick with a loser, a mere youtuber when the obviously better option is him. Doesn't matter if your feelings are romantic or platonic to your friend, he hates him.

He enjoys your shock when he takes over the game, relishing in your emotions and mixed feelings, and he enjoys your quick adaptation to the new world he created, for you. If he could, he would take you out of that stupid world separating you and just keep you with him when he does The Great Transcendence. You're the best player he's had for a long time...

Now, here there are several endings, one where he does what he wanted and uploads Inscryption to the internet fully, the original end of Inscryption but without Amanda, one where he finds a way to bring you here, one where he never fully dies, and one where you die instead.

I'll also say that the notion of confessions ruining friendships is not always accurate. in fact it's very heteronormative. what ruins friendships is when one or the other friend can't deal with boundaries. if you tell him how you're feeling, and he doesn't reciprocate, it may be awkward for awhile, but if your friendship is strong and you respect his "no" and he doesn't get weird and in his head about it, you'll be okay.

all of that aside: do not feel like I'm pressuring you to confess! I'm just trying to give you angles from which to look forward. attraction is not an imperative. no matter what you do, this crush is energizing you. it's filling you with something wild and bright and exciting. even if you never say anything or act on it, it's okay for that sexual energy and excitement to belong only to you. it's no less beautiful than it is if you share it. if it's waking up new sexual appetites, you'll take that forward with you and have amazing new experiences on your own or with other partners.

Something that just smacked me in the head

So while I personally HC Siete as being bi or pan, because he does seem to be developing some feelings for Danchou who can be anything and also just vibes, but what if he's demiromantic

I know Writer Anon posed that (Almost) Siete would fuck people if it helped him in some way, so that's obviously canon, but I can totally see that. He can probably separate sex and romance in his mind and if sleeping with someone could help him achieve his goal, that's cool, it's whatever, let's go

But he needs to know someone well in order to really develop feelings for them. It looks like his holiday lines get a lot more in that direction over time, as he starts out friendly but kinda basic, not to mention how his transcendence FE ends with him saying he wants to travel to the end of the skies with you? He took some time develop those feelings, but once he had them, he fell hard

Going from "Guess I'll keep an eye on this kid" to "Okay say hi to your big brother figure" to "Oh fuck"

To be fair also, being ace wouldn't stop him from getting casual sex, the fact he would have sex especially to manipulate people doesn't mean he would have sexual attraction to these people. and ngl, while it's not at all what you said, the idea of "well i can't be ace, i have sex with people with an ulterior motive that has nothing to do with attraction" feels like something he'd say in a "just like everyone else right?". Like there's something very ace about thinking you're allo because clearly you have all sort of reasons to have sex (none of them are attraction).

I think Haku is LGBT+ coded. Kishi has shown him dressing up in a feminine manner, and has drawn him with makeup. Naruto at first thinks of him as a girl until Haku corrects him. He is also shown to regard Zabuza in a more intimate way than would be expected of a mentor student relationship, even within Naruto universe.

Sai. His relationship with Shin seems to be intimate, even though he calls him a brother, but then Kishi made it more than clear that he doesn't understand what the implies. They are both true orphans, just like Naruto, who also wondered if Sasuke was like a sibling. Also, Sai talks about looking at Shin's penis, this is too out there for brothers, bit Kishi makes sure to have Sai say it out loud. He was written as a replacement of Sasuke who is clearly gay, and Sai's relationship with Naruto is also affected by that, extra points for him looking like Sasuke and dressing up quite like Sasuke as well. In the sense, noticeably provocative and the angles Kishi chooses to draw them in also look like he wants their provocative design to look as effective as possible. The audience's gaze is immediately drawn to Sasuke's open chested shirt or Sai's exposed midriff. He also keeps commenting on Naruto's private parts, which is again funny, but Naruto 's response is always too dramatic. Says something about both. It's also amusing how Kishi wrote a few scenes where he makes Sai thinking of women (Sakura and Ino) as displeasing to look at. He of course does it under the garb of comedy, like usual, but it totally pans with how Kishi depicts Sasuke and Naruto's sexuality. Kishi's general approach is to use female characters to say something or give some information about the characters such as Naruto, Sai and Sasuke with either an interaction or a passing comment. So the characters probably won't say or do anything that seems dubious on their own, but Kishi will create situations where the above characters will say something or do something in response to the women. Which is understandable since he cannot explicitly say these things in this genre. Hence the red herrings. Kishi is a storyteller. His job is to show, not tell. And show he does. So he has to be subtle about it.

This is pretty consistent with how Naruto behaves towards Sakura. The way he projects his feelings for Sasuke onto Sakura, since it's the only way for him to come to terms with his confusing feelings. Or he would try to react in his hap hazard, confused ways when Minato asks if Sakura is his girlfriend, or the way he backtracks with Sakura when they talk about Sasuke. He also does this with Hinata, the way she confesses to him in Pain arc and he runs to Sasuke right after and confesses to Sasuke with similar words while ignoring Hinata completely. There are many such instances with Naruto, starting from chapter three and remaining consistent.

Sakura and Karin act as Sasuke's female admirers, but Sasuke is shown clearly to not reciprocate. They are both over the top romantic or sexual with him and he gets uncomfortable or really annoyed. Oftentimes, it is also hidden under the garb of comedy, the way Sakura slumps or the way Karin rubs against Sasuke, while Sasuke looks annoyed or displeased. It's all very off putting to me, but clearly shounen has very outdated concepts of generating humor, even if its cultural in some ways. Kishi still manages to subvert all of these expectations. In the sense, those who want to read the surface level are welcome to do so, and those who are more critically inclined, also find their entertainment. It's a win win for both. Which is why Naruto appeals to a whole lot of fans, transcending genres.

I can't say that about Itachi or Sasori because I don't see anything that indicates towards it. I don't think Kishi wrote them with their sexualities in mind, as in exploring them. Also depiction (and understanding) of asexual spectrum is relatively new in popular media and I doubt Kishi knew what it meant when he was writing Naruto.

I also think Gaara has romantic feelings for Naruto, and Hashirama and Madara 's relationship also looks suspect, but their sexualities are not something Kishi pointedly explores in the manga. It is only implied through their relationships.

 And just like.... the quintuplets themselves..... just the havoc I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that the only named son is the firstborn (cause it always is) and keep that this Wukong is like JTTW 1996 Wukong so super into Buddhism so, of course, he names the first son Pāramitā after the six transcendent perfections that are generosity, discipline, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom

Wukong ain't about that life but he does like free stuff so it becomes a mix of both where he invites everyone in Heaven to come to pay his kids respect (except the Queen Mother as revenge for not being invited to HER peach festival cause he petty like that)

 It turns out to be a full blown rager in the Mountain considering he invented all of Heaven and the local 72 Demon Kings so considering it the first cultural exchange... with lots of drinking

Our five heroes are of course good monks and don't drink and while the party rages the rest of the night Wukong slips away early on (leaving a clone) to put his babies to sleep where it's nice and quiet.

is kkym the abbreviation for them as a ship? sure i can share some hcs sdkjghsjkg, I should say that I'm very picky when it comes to ships insofar as romantically: if n when i ship them in canon don't really see them getting together until they're well into their 30s or maybe even early 40s—I think a lot of people will find that weird bc like. that's a long time to wait, and in fandom there's the pervasive notion of "once in love, always in love" where romantic love kind of. transcends all interactions? like if characters are in love at any point it means they must have been in love at all points? but i don't agree or relate to that and certainly not in this case they're both incredibly practical and cautious people, and especially about how they can affect others! I think they would both understand how it can be dangerous to enter into a committed relationship when you don't have a strong sense of self, and this is an issue for both of them up through anbu (so I just generally don't ship either of them during that time period) in jōnin times, kakashi is steady on to his way of understanding himself by the time Yamato has to join in—but Yamato...during the course of canon he starts to really come into himself as team Kakashi's co-captain, but I'm under the impression that the war arc kind of destroys all that progress. (um. understandably. i think being used as a dehumanized mokuton weapon to do harm to people you care about while not even being conscious of it happening is. kind of. the worst setback yamato could ever run into.) Furthermore, with his epilogue, it kinda leads me to believe firmly that he's lost the tethers he did have, and might've even accepted himself as a lost cause either partially or wholly (i can't...see him wanting to return to proximity around orochimaru as anything other than trying to like. regain control of the most basic elements of his dehumanization, ie: the mad scientist who did it first) it's!!! super depressing!!! his canon epilogue is super depressing!!! i don't think that i would want to see him in a romantic relationship like that—not until he's on stable ground again...

that said, PLATONICALLY...now this is my wheelhouse. i think that yamato was very involved with the training of kakashis current crew of ninken. he didn't do much training but he did record a lot of it so that kakashi could watch it over and try to correct his own mistakes (the only place a sharingan can't look, after all, is its user). kakashi has offered on multiple occasions to hook yamato up with his own ninken, and yamato refuses. he's not really a dog person (but i WISH he WAS because I am and I'd love to draw him with a dog.) Kakashi is a good cook—but only for a few meals. as a kid there was debate about whether he should be allowed to care for himself, or whether he should, by default, be absorbed into the inuzuka clan. he really fucking hated the idea, like. viscerally hated it, and endeavored to show that he was the worlds most autonomous child. he only knows about ten basic meals, but he knows how to make them backward and forward. he could make them blindfolded. Yamato...well. it's not that he's a bad cook exactly? It's more just that he. doesn't. cook. he likes to eat very basic things, raw fruit or vegetables for example, plain rice (perhaps with salt), or de-shelled nuts. he probably likes salads fairly well! When they cook together, generally Yamato is preparing the ingredients (chopping vegetables, etc), and then will slide them over to Kakashi who will do the cooking. They don't cook together often because they like to argue about food a lot—(a favorite habit stemming from when Tenzō was being weaned off food pills and onto like. proper meals) Neither of them bake things very often at all. When Yamato does step out of his comfort zone cooking, he's very by-the-book, and so when he sees Kakashi improvising (or perhaps following his own recipes or things he'd seen sakumo or maito dai do) he's generally quick to ask why! Their tastes are very similar as well, although if u were to chart it all out, Yamato leans slightly more towards bitter flavors, and Kakashi more towards umami flavors. both hate sweets and fried food They didn't talk a lot in the three years where Kakashi was a jōnin and Tenzō was still in anbu. Gai and Tenzō worked together (mostly at Gai's behest and functioning under Gai's plan) to get Kakashi discharged from anbu, and for a solid amount of time, Tenzō (who is very preoccupied with ideas of agency and respecting individual autonomy, since he had his own so thoroughly undermined) has trouble forgiving himself, and believing that Kakashi would forgive him for denying him the ability to make the choice to either stay in anbu or leave. Eventually, he sees, as Gai had told him he would, that Kakashi's mental health is improving, and he's able to relax and relieve himself of that guilt—but he still generally stays away until the Yamato/co-captaining assignment. It's not only that anbu is a tough gig, but also that he spent his time there working directly under Kakashi, and he needs to better solidify his sense of how he operates outside of that teamwork. He doesn't have a bad time, or a good time, but it's important to his growth to do so.
