so As You All Know because I don't shut up about it I've been watching old hermitcraft seasons (as well as other things but that's less relevant). Not too long ago I got to season 3, specifically the episodes around when Mumbo turned 19. Now I'm watching Tango mostly but I had to go check Mumbo's episode for that cause Tango set up a little pranky prank for him.

The important part here being that Mumbo said he "couldn't believe he was 19" and "had a hard time thinking of himself as an adult". Normal things for a teenager realizing they're not gonna be a teenager the next year to be thinking y'know.

Mumbo's also been saying in other series about how weird it was that he's almost 30 especially whenever other people bring it up. He got downright defensive when Grian brought it up. And now his episode today talking about getting old and his solution being uploading himself into a chicken and living in season 10 forever.

I genuinely cannot see Morro being someone overly conscious or shy. This man has ZERO shame, he would happily keep mentioning the whole possession incident just to get the ninja to leave him alone. Writing? Be prepared to SOB at his poetry and how he phrases his words. The emotions are something he was somehow able to put into words despite him actually laughing at every sad scene as he wrote it.

Gymnastics? He’s flipping over five people just so he can walk ahead of them.

A race? He runs faster than anyone (other than the master of speed. He does like to use wind pressure against him though)

Swimming? LAPS around you.

I don’t think you guys understand the only reason he would even be good at this stuff is because he’s petty. He just wants to be better than others like. He’s a petty, petty loser who can beat you at anything.

controversial opinion maybe, but i don't think ridley should be the main threat or leading antagonist to a metroid game. I love ridley (obviously) and i definitely would want to see ridley as the main villain in a game, but at the same time, I dont think it would narratively hold as much value. Ridley is always at most, usually a secondary threat, and that's really important. It's obvious how highly Ridley thinks of himself, shown with the creation of mecha ridley, his entire lair in Norfair, his characterization in the manga, and of course, his title of "Cunning God of Death." im 100% sure ridley is delusional enough to genuinely believe he is a god, its not just a title to him imo, and he's just clearly over his head and like insane lmao. So having him never be the main threat shows that its nothing but his own delusion. He believes himself to be so great, yet he is always overshadowed by someone else. Ridley is not a god, he's not special, the reality is he is never the main villain. Keeping Ridley as a secondary threat is like the series' way of saying "fuck you" to ridley.
