I absolutely love the way you've recreated some comic variant covers with your versions of Clark and Lois (the Jorge Jeremez homage and "Superman '78" recreations are my favorites). I was just wondering, have you ever considered doing a recreation of the iconic "kiss on the moon" from All-Star Superman?

Thank you so much! I have been asked about re-drawing the moon kiss from All-Star Superman, but I don't draw it because 1) it doesn't interest me, 2) while I've joked about Super Lois before for fun shenanigans, I don't personally like the idea of a super-powered Lois especially for my version. Lois Liando is meant to ground Superman's allegorical themes as an immigrant, and I find giving Lois powers detracts from what makes her relatable-y human. 3) I haven't drawn a Clois kiss yet and I want it to be iconic when it happens :p

I love drawing those redraws though!! If I bump into a comic or cover of Clark and Lois I like as much as the Jorge Jimenez and Jamal Campbell illustrations, I'd definitely be tempted to redraw it.

My roommates just got back from a con in Philadelphia! Callie has always adored The Little Mermaid, and she got the chance to meet Jodi Benson, voice of the animated Ariel! @spark-of-jenius made her an entire costume. She got the sewing pattern, started putting it together, and realized that the pattern was sized wrong and the waist size was TWENTY INCHES off what it was supposed to be! But she’s such a good costumer that she managed to remake the pattern to make it all work and look amazing.

IT'S JUST SO...!! savior's wardrobe scrubbed clean of her original culture and preferences #replaced with the foreign garments of her captor's nations.....in line with this. i love how her kokoshnik and khaenri'ahn earrings are big #and attention-grabbing. you can't look at her without taking note of those accessories. it begs the question:: how many times has savior #looked at the mirror after being dressed up in snezhnaya and was unable to recognize her own reflection?? :'>#also shoutout to some details aine shared with me: 1) the face marks are inspired by weeping angels 2) the kokoshnik was traditionally worn #by married noblewomen BUT the veil was normally for unmarried women so savior's outfit can be seen as a form of compliance + rebellion #(though later on in history it became accepted for married women to also wear that veil. also my apologies if what i said is inaccurate)#lastly shoutout to savior's expression!! very poised and mysterious....due to her emotional state or pierro's rules on how to act as his #spouse in public?? we'll never know~ the first drawing hits even harder when you compare it to the next one!! such an interesting contrast~#savior in her plain attire. casual and domestic with a smile on her face....i'm guessing this is her pre-fatui version?? she looks so warm #and friendly. and i can definitely understand why pierro fell for her smile <3 #also i fucking love the caption. sorry pierro but you are cursed to be a loser/ simp/ pathetic man in all of my fics and AUs xD #NOW ONTO GODDESS! @americangirlruinedmylife asked me if i had seen AG’s website today and for a minute i was so wrapped up in the revival of Julie’s floral jumpsuit that i straight up didn’t even see the other historical drops 😅

anyway i love this fit SO much. i was devastated when i got back into collecting and saw how expensive it was, so i am very pleased to be able to have a version of it (though they changed the sandal color for some reason?? it’s odd but im fine with it - I have some tan ones I’ll switch them out for).

the other thing I’m definitely going to be getting is Addy’s birthday dress- my Addy only has her pjs so i’m pumped to be able to get another fit for her!!! also I just love her birthday outfit. her snood is super fun, and I LOVE the checkered apron.

(I kinda wish the book was sold separately though, as I believe I already have a copy and. Y’know. Money.)

i actually LOVE the idea of the limited drop IF they end up doing what I think they’re going to do. they dropped just the birthday/spring outfits and books during the season when they take place….

I think they might be doing a seasonal release of each book and accompanying outfit??? 🤔

based on how much got left hanging around on sale for molly and kit, i think they might be trying to broaden the audience while limiting the amount they have to stock by doing these three girls at once - they could be planning to rotate out items as they add each new book and accompanying outfit, which I actually think is an extremely cool idea. there’s no way to know for certain until we hit summer and the next wave would release (if im not totally off base), but we’ll see 👀
