(sorry i’m still on it) but how funny is it that Banri just downright wrote that the person he admired the most is the director while Tsuzuru had to physically restrain Masumi from writing “The Director” on all of his corrections for the association corner.
Like Tsuzuru was out there trying so hard to have Masumi’s behave and Banri just looked at it, looked at the mayhem, looked at the fact Masumi was forcefully stopped from raving about Izumi, and he went “lol anyway, i don’t have a reason to hold back, so, Director <3333″
It’s so funny, for the casual audience they might just think Masumi is apathic EVEN to their director and Banri is the one liking the Director the most.
All i’m saying is that it’s not impossible Masumi is hunting Banri for sports as we speak.
#and it's not the first time Banri does this type of things#i remember his wedding SSR backstage.#where he pretends to be Izumi's fiancée to visit a church Tenma is filming in#and does the most flustering-worthy love declaration 'for the bit' in it#and then they come back home and Masumi finds a flyer about the church#and he asks Izumi why is that so (is she planning to marry him?)#and Banri this bastard just puts his fingers on Izumi's lips and winks and says they gotta keep it a secret#this kid drives me insane.#anyway point of this post is that i think it's so funny how the audience might think Banri is the one loving the director the most there#(esp when ppl like Masumi and Sakyo avoided talking about her otherwise)#anyway the more i think about Banri's profile the more insane i'm getting. this lad.#ichablogging a3jpn#ichatalks about a3

i know the farmer au is lincentric, but I'm curious about the rest of the gaang and their relationships. did kanto and toph got back together?? how about sokka and suki?
Hi, anon~
Thank you so much for this ask! Of course, we have to talk about the OG Gaang and the ships~
So, let’s start with Katara and Aang. Just like in canon, they end up together, but in the Farmer AU, they figure out how to reverse the effects of Aang being stuck in ice, so he lives longer. They’re pretty much inseparable, sticking together for meetings and Avatar-related travels. They’re super supportive of each other, especially with Katara’s awesome plan to set up a school in the South Pole to teach waterbenders the art of healing. And even with their crazy schedules, they make sure to spend quality time with their kids.
Mai and Zuko have a strong, supportive relationship, much like Kataang. The main issue for Mai is Zuko's overprotectiveness of their daughter, Izumi. It makes sense, given she's their only child and the successor to the throne. As a kid, Izumi was a bit rebellious because of this, but she eventually came to understand why her dad was like that.
Now onto the more complicated couples—Suki and Sokka. After Sokka and Toph split, Sokka stayed single for almost six years and focused on raising Su. Eventually, he and Suki got back together, but they decided not to get married just yet. They decided to wait until they’re both retired and ready to leave their careers behind. Suyin actually became close to Suki because Sokka often brought her to Kyoshi Island. Did it upset Toph? Yeah, especially when she found out. Things are a bit awkward between Suki and Toph, but they don’t hate each other—it’s just complicated because of their history.
Lastly, there's Toph and Kanto—oh, these two! It took a decade for Toph to finally forgive Kanto. It happened when Lin had her third child and was struggling with postpartum depression. Toph and Kanto stepped up to support their own child, Lin. That was the first time they acted as parents together, and it marked the beginning of them finding their way back to each other. Kanto eventually admitted that he still loved Toph after all those years, and she accepted him back. But did they get married? Nope. Toph said once was enough because she couldn't deal with another divorce if things didn’t work out.

THE TRAGEDY OF THE FUJIHARA
Main Family
The Son of the Serpent
ㅤFujihara Daisuke is the great grandson of Yukiko; his father, Asahi, son of Fuyu, took up the passion that his great grandmother had for the sea. Once Daisuke was old enough, he took control of the ancestral ship that Yukiko had built and sailed upon: the Sapphire Serpent, a large, long galleon designed to look almost serpentine. While his younger sister, Ayame, left to explore on her own- winding up on an infamous pirate crew when she was eighteen as a skilled sharpshooter. Kotetsu remained home; the middle child, the duty-bound son. He sat upon the throne, the Emperor of Janoshima. He was kind; a gently-spoken man who saw the good in people. A docile, sleeping boa, as he was described.
ㅤDaisuke himself was notorious, known as the Son of the Serpent due to a twisting tattoo of a snake that began on the left side of his neck and coiled down the length of his body, the tail ending on the inside of his right ankle. His bounty was two hundred million at the time of his death, but before he died, he’d made a lasting impression upon his children- for better or worse. Daiyū was his bride, a woman of minor nobility who had set her eyes upon Daisuke and decided that yes, she was to be his bride.
ㅤDaiyū was blinded by ambition; she was never cut out to be a mother, never having had a nurturing bone in her body. After their passing, Ayame has mentioned that Daisuke hadn't been cruel before Daiyū entered his life. She stripped every bit of kindness from him, creating the monster that attacked his own children and thought himself a God amongst men.
How terribly wrong he had been. Or perhaps he was right, for even mighty Kronos was defeated by his own children.
The Twins
ㅤHis first born were a pair of identical twins: Kiyomi born three minutes and twenty seven seconds before Kiyoko. His pride and joy, twin girls who bore the same birthmarks that he himself had: a dot beneath either eye. They came with the crew while traveling the seas. The trouble came, however, with Daiyū, and that lack of maternal love. She refused to breastfeed, refused to hold her daughters for longer than necessary. Instead, the ship's seamstress, Milorad, took care of them when Daisuke was busy with his captain duties.
The Son
ㅤThree years later came Junpei, the first and only son born to Daiyū and Daisuke. He was a strong baby, with a strong pair of lungs. Daisuke caught Daiyū at one point holding her hand over his mouth to try and cease his crying.
ㅤHe took him from her, and cared for him himself.
The Problem Child
ㅤThree years pass. Daisuke's bounty now sits at one million Berries. Daiyū, pregnant once more, delivers Mizuki two weeks early. Mizuki is born silent; they fear she was stillborn before she drew in a large breath and screamed so loud, Milorad swears all of the East Blue could hear her. Junpei complained, asked why she was screaming so much, to which Daisuke replied that she simply had a lot to say.
ㅤ No one has ever spoken of how Daiyū fell into a manic state after giving birth and threatened to throw Mizuki overboard, for she saw a serpent's gaze within her child.
ㅤThey ported in Janoshima for a year, giving Daiyū time to calm, to rest- and for the children to meet their cousins.
The Princess
ㅤAyame had been separated from her brothers for fourteen years, having joined Gol D. Roger's Crew under the moniker of
the Single-Shot Snake. She held a now-legendary talent for taking out her targets with one shot- perfectly aimed and planned. She met her husband, Yusuke, while with the crew; they married a year after, when she was just turning twenty. Together, over the years, she had had four children, as well; Mai was a year younger than Kiyomi and Kiyoko, only five. Jun'Ichi was three and a half, and the twins, Itsuki and Izumi, were just under a year old. However, she admitted that Roger had told her to go home- to live her life with the treasure she now had, both literally and figuratively. She agreed, and parted ways after a large celebration with the crew, and returned to Janoshima. It worked well, since Kotetsu's health was rapidly declining. Someone would need to be there for him.
ㅤShe didn't know that, in four and a half years, she would be witnessing the execution of her Captain.
Dangers of a Clutch
ㅤAfter a year away from the sea, Daisuke returned to the water with his family. Unlike Mizuki's siblings, she was wild from the moment she could walk- or, rather, run. She was brought onto the Sapphire Serpent, spending her infancy and early childhood in the care of the Crew rather than her parents, who claimed that they had no time to deal with a baby. More often than not, Kiyomi and Kiyoko would be the ones watching over Junpei and Mizuki. By the time she was five, Daiyū was pregnant with what would be her final child.
ㅤThe pregnancy was difficult, more so than any of her others. Her health took a toll; she became frail, feverish. For the first time, the Fujihara had a weak point. Exactly at nine months pregnant, tragedy struck the ship.
ㅤFujihara Mizuki was kidnapped by three men who mutinied against Daisuke.
ㅤFor three weeks, Mizuki was kept in a shack on an island, well hidden- until one day, Junpei stumbled upon her in the shack while the other members of the crew fought. He carried her out, screaming for help. Mizuki was shell shocked; silent, eyes wide. She did not speak for the next six months. The relief of having Mizuki returned triggered Daiyū into labor-
ㅤIn which she nearly lost her life.
The Spider in the Snake Den
ㅤThey returned to Janoshima once more a month after Suma was born. She was a frail baby, underweight and shrieking at all hours. Daiyū, at her wits end, attempted to kill her own daughter before Yusuke and Ayame intervened, stopping her. Ayame took Suma in as her own, afterwards. Daisuke argued at first before Ayame threatened to simply keep all of his children if he could not care for them and his crazed wife.
ㅤHe relented.
The Birth of the Golden Age
ㅤTwo months later, the family traveled to Loguetown to witness the execution of Gol D. Roger and the birth of the Golden Age of Piracy.
ㅤAt age thirteen, Kiyomi and Kiyoko were given a choice: a normal birthday celebration, or to enter into the Fujihara as official members. This confused them- they were already members of the Fujihara, why would they need to be officiated? Daiyū cooed that they needed to show their pride and their loyalty to the family. They agreed- and thus, the first tongue splitting occurred.
ㅤJunpei and Milorad cared for the girls while their tongues healed. Milorad was disgusted with Daiyū, though they dared not show it. This was not the last time; Junpei, Mizuki, and Suma each went through the same procedure on their birthday, albeit against their will.
ㅤIt's no wonder why Mizuki turned out the way she did.
ㅤSuma would return to the ship when she was seven years old, having been raised with Ayame's own children. Ayame trained both her and Mai in the art of sharpshooting. Suma was a natural, picking it up with ease. Even at seven years old, she had better aim with a gun than any of her siblings. Daisuke brought her on board, and her life of comfort- of being treated as a princess- vanished.
ㅤDaisuke was no longer a loving father. He was cold, cruel; treating his children as if they were merely members of his crew and not his flesh and blood. Over the next six years, the children would harden and change. Abuse of different forms, their lives placed on the line, and the struggle of living on a ship molded them.
The Death of a Serpent
ㅤWhen Mizuki was eighteen, everything changed. Daisuke and Daiyū had branded them all, quite literally. The letter ‘P’ on the back of their left wrists, labeling them as Pirates so that they could never turn on him. Daisuke had grown paranoid over the years, a madness whispered to him by Daiyū's own paranoia.
ㅤTwo nights after her eighteenth birthday, Mizuki snuck into the bedroom of her parents. Kiyomi had told her that something needed to be done- they were in danger. And Mizuki took it upon herself to take care of this problem- by climbing into bed silently, straddling her father's chest, and driving a knife into his head and chest twenty-four times. Daiyū had woken in the midst of it, had tried to run, but Mizuki acted faster. She trained with the crew, she was strong, fast, could contort her body due to an unnatural level of flexibility and strength. She took hold of an ivory statue Daiyū had on her nightstand- and slammed it into her temple, the bone crumbling beneath the blow. She died instantly.
ㅤBelow them, Kiyoko had held Suma against herself, whispering to her that everything was fine. Covered her ears with her hands and rocked her, trying to block out the horrifying, animalistic screaming that was coming from Mizuki as she let loose upon their parents.
Changing Tides
ㅤKiyomi took charge of the ship, afterwards. Half of the crew left at the next port, declaring Kiyomi as a traitor- mutiny, they stated. She killed three of the loudest men, slit their throats with the legendary blade, Mamushi. She herself had already become a known, notorious pirate and Swordsman- Lady Mamushi, with a bounty of five hundred thousand. It took one month before Junpei had had enough. He had Suma, had packed her bag- before Kiyoko had found them. The altercation went as follows:
“Now, what are you planning on doing, brother dearest?”
“Kiyoko-... You know what happened. You know it's wrong-”
“Wrong? I don't know what you mean. Look at us- we're finally the ones in charge! How is that wrong?”
“... I'm going to take the lifeboat, and Suma, and we are leaving.”
“I can't let you do that.”
“Kiyo, don't-”
“KIYOMI, HE'S TAKING SUMA!”
ㅤWhat followed was Kiyomi forcing Junpei off the ship to swim to he mile to port. Suma remained on the ship- thirteen years old, tongue and wrist still healing, watching as her escape swam away with tears in his eyes mirroring her own.
ㅤThree months later, Mizuki and Kiyomo get into a fight that ends with Mamushi pressed to Mizuki's throat and the promise of spilled blood singing in the air. Mizuki jumped ship; Kiyomi would then drop Kiyoko at Janoshima to take the Throne that had been left empty after Ayame returned to the sea ( with the promise of Kiyoko taking over ).
ㅤAyame's own children had split over the years. Itsuki and Izumi joined Kiyomi when she made port at Janoshima, joining her crew. Jun'Ichi had vanished when he was sixteen, off to find his own adventure. Mai had left five years ago to join Whitebeard's Crew under the First Division as a Sharpshooter. Kai sailed with Ayame and her crew on the Vermillion Viper, someplace in the West Blue.
ㅤShortly after leaving, Mizuki takes on the name of the Deadman's Daughter and her bounty rises from a mere few thousand to encroaching on two million after stealing the Hebi Hebi no Mi Model: Viper fruit from a Marine ship- and then downing the ship.
ㅤOne year before the forming of the Straw Hats, Mizuki joins the ranks of the Buggy Pirates, quickly securing herself as a member of the crew.
ㅤSuma became known as the Little Spider; the youngest of her siblings, a slippery little thing. She had grown into herself well, her talents as a Sharpshooter extended further into other explosives. Gunpowder packed boxes that when thrown, she would shoot, causing an explosion mid-air that stunned and sent shrapnel spiraling. It was when she turned eighteen that she and Kiyomi got into an altercation that left Kiyomi chumming the water-
ㅤand shoving her overboard.
ㅤSuma managed to just barely escape, swimming to shore with her two bags. In one, a map; in another, gold and money she'd stolen from the ship. For three years, Suma wandered on her own from place to place, buying passage via labor on merchant or smaller pirate ships, offering her skills to those who needed them. Repairing the ratlines with her odd knack for Weaving, manning cannons.
ㅤShe runs into trouble at Nanohana, where she attempts to pickpocket a blonde man who had fallen under charm rather quickly, only to get caught by a green haired man- and then pulled onto their ship while they escaped from the Marines. She learns their names: Rorornoa Zoro, Blackleg Sanji, Nami, Nefertari Vivi, Usopp, Tony Tony Chopper, and Monkey D. Luffy-
ㅤthe Straw Hat Pirates.

That same anon who will definitely watch the show this holiday season:
Director's Commentary on that dead guy fic?
I love that you call it that. It's now officially "that dead guy fic", which is of course not to be confused with my other dead guy fic or that one about all the zombies. And thanks so much for the ask.
"Light in the Darkness" was, first and foremost, a gift fic. I wrote it for someone who's main blorbo is Commander Bumi, and who mostly ships Bumi with Firelord Izumi. In the show, as you'll soon see, these characters don't even meet. There's no established canon relationship between them of any kind beyond the fact that their parents knew each other as children. Izumi herself is barely a character at all. This gave me a lot of white space to work in, which is usually my favorite kind of character and relationship to write. The complicating factor, however, is I personally don't really ship these characters, mostly due to the fact that my own dear blorbo, General Iroh, in canon Izumi's child, does not seem to be Commander Bumi's son. Some people think he is. I'm not one of them. They never interact. So, for me, that rules out Bumi/Izumi relationships that include Bumi as Iroh's father. Happily for me (and this fic), second chances is one of my very favorite tropes. So I fairly early on settled on this being Bumi and Izumi getting together later in life.
This fic was also written for an event week run by the same person the gift was for. One of my suggested prompts, "Firelord Bumi", made it into the final selection, so I wanted to use it. I'd meant the prompt from a traditional shipping standpoint of "oh, what if Bumi is married to Izumi and then becomes Firelord?" In canon a rather goofy character, I thought it could lead to some shenanigans. But because I'm me when it came time to write I decided to instead do the most deranged interpretation of the prompt I could come up with. It's not uncommon.
But Bumi couldn't impersonate a recently deceased Firelord Zuko all on his own. Enter an excuse to add in my own favorite wildly non-canon pairing as co-conspirators and catalysts. Because why not? This story was clearly going off the rails anyway. I leveraged Zuko's somewhat background as a theater nerd as justification for his grandson's knowledge of costumes and Bumi's larger than life fearlessness to put together a plan so outrageously stupid it just might work. In the show, Iroh follows orders and directions right up until the moment he really totally 100% doesn't, and I love this so much about him. When he gets emotional or desperate all bets are off unless a superior is standing over his shoulder yelling "NO!" And for the little we see of Izumi she seems to take her role and her country very seriously, which made a great counter point to them. Izumi was going to tough it out. Asami Sato, tough as nails and twice as smart (and my match for Iroh) made for a logical choice to see through all the B.S. and give Bumi and Izumi the nudge they need to finally act on their feelings. Having four chapters, one from everyone's perspective, made sense to me in terms of having a viewpoint into all of the moving pieces.
I'm super curious to hear what you make of all this after you actually watch the show.

@kyuusou “Did I ever cross your mind?” Izumi asked in a soft voice. “I don't think I did.”
ㅤThe sight of the compound lake grown crimson with the blood of floating fresh corpses was surprisingly fitting. [Innocent men and women who'd only had been doing their job of caring for a mentally unstable patient. Why should he show them mercy? Nobody had ever done that for him.] What else remained to their people, if not that? And the culprit was right there, standing by her side, by the side of one of the two sole survivors. One that Itachi had not planned and had definitely not anticipated, but it wasn't unwelcome - at all. If anything, he regretted only recently having come to learn about Izumi's fate, and unwittingly having left her to be exploited by this rotten village.
Something that he absolutely meant to make right, now.
ㅤIt was fascinating, in a morbid way, to reconnect with his sweetheart under such circumstances and witness first-hand what eighty years of existing in the world of Tsukuyomi had done to her psyche. She seemed to recognize him immediately, never mind the grotesque scar now marrying the left side of his face, but at the same time also seemed to be fluctuating between both worlds with no real rhyme nor reason; reality, and illusions crafted so meticulously they had become a parallel reality itself. Did he feel remorse for it? It was hard to tell. So much time had passed, so much had changed, that it was hard for Itachi to think of anything or anybody and consider them worthy of care. All that mattered and all that existed was his goal.
«You did.»
ㅤIt wasn't a lie, regardless. Every now and then, he would catch himself thinking back on innocent days and secret hideouts, papers painted with crayons and sharing snacks by the edge of this same lake. But was that what Izumi was hinting at, at all? After all, in her mind, they married and lived happily ever after. What did it feel like, now? Did she hate him? Was she afraid of him? Did she wish to torture him back? And what did he feel like, even? Did he love her? Did he want to find a way to help her recover? Did he want to keep her in her delusion because, after all, that would be much kinder than returning to a reality where almost everybody she'd ever cared for was dead? So many questions, so little answers.
ㅤAfter moments of standing by the edge of the lake, watching the soft ripples in the surface of the water as fish began feeding on the unexpected banquet, Itachi turned around and walked back to Izumi, sitting by her - making sure to keep her by his non-blinded side, because if life had taught him anything it was that one could never be too cautious. And he studied her features for a few seconds longer, the young girl he'd last seen now turned to a grown woman, the softness of her lines turned to something much hardened. Still so beautiful, however. Bringing one hand up, he gently cupped her cheek.
ㅤ«I thought you were dead, and that's why I never came looking for you. Now that I have found you, however, I don't intend to let go ever again. Come with me, Izumi. There is nothing for you in this corrupted village, not until I am able to claim it for myself and purge it. Join me and I will make sure nobody ever hurts you again.»

Meant To Be
It was the end of sophomore year when Sakura confessed to one of her childhood friends, she had been bottling up these feelings since elementary school.
“I have feelings for you, Sasuke-kun” Sakura held her breath in anticipation of what his answer would be.
“I don’t feel the same way,” he responded, not daring to make eye contact with her.
She put on a brave face, but he could see the pain behind her smile. “That’s ok! I just wanted you to know.” Sakura honestly didn’t expect him to reciprocate. He had never shone any romantic interest in, well, anyone. So why should she be any different? “Can we still be friends?”
“Ah.”
As she turned around to leave, Sakura could feel the tears starting to roll down her face as the façade started to crumble.
Before he could process what his body was doing, Sasuke reached out and put a hand on her shoulder to stop her. “Sakura, let me at least walk you home.”
“I’m fine,” she said, pulling away. But Sasuke knew better. He had known her long enough to know when she was hiding her face, she was in fact not fine.
Extending his arm a second time, “Sakura I –“
“I said I’m fine!” Her voice cracked. Sakura had an inkling of what the outcome of her confession would be, but rejection hurt all the same. Part of her hoped she would be wrong, and maybe he did harbor feelings for her. She berated herself for knowing better.
Sasuke watched as she walked away from him, inwardly cursing himself.
Because Sasuke did have feelings for her.
He didn’t know when these feelings started to develop, perhaps it was when we were still kids and continued to grow overtime.
One day during lunch, he glanced over at her and Ino gossiping and just knew. Her smooth voice echoed through his eardrums. Her big jade eyes met his onyx ones and smiled at him, making his heart start to race. The warmth she exuded that always drew him in, like a moth to a flame. Sakura had always been by his side to comfort him when he needed it, and Sasuke found himself doing the same.
Maybe he knew when Naruto brought up the idea of her eventually getting a boyfriend, and Sasuke found himself immediately rejecting that notion. It was irrational but he didn’t want to picture her with anyone but himself. As selfish as that may be, Sasuke didn’t care. At the end of the day, he deeply cared about the pinkette.
However, in another year they would be applying for colleges and soon after going their separate ways.
He hadn’t told any of his friends, but Sasuke was planning to study abroad after graduation at the same place his grandfather went to university. And later he would take over his business. While Sasuke could give her two happy years now, would she be satisfied in a long distance relationship for another 4? Maybe more?
In his mind, Sakura deserved better than that. Someone who could always be there for her during her highs and lows. To give her the support she needed. And it wouldn’t be fair to ask her to wait for him either.
“Who are you to decide what is and isn’t good for Sakura?” His brother asked.
Itachi had gone through a similar situation around the time he was graduating high school. He was preparing to study in Oto, but he and Izumi decided to stay together. The couple had their ups and downs, but always worked through their differences. Now they’re engaged and getting married next year.
“I know you’re doing this because you care about her, but you should talk to her about it. Tell Sakura what’s going on and let her make her own decision.”
Sasuke hated when his brother was right, however he knew Itachi had a point.
Next time they saw each other, he would talk things out with her.
Sasuke didn’t see Sakura at all that summer. She and her parents had taken a trip to Suna, to visit some family friends. They talked a few times and she wished him a happy birthday, but she was busy most of the time.
When the first day of junior year finally rolled around, Sasuke found that he, Naruto, and Sakura had the same homeroom. Unfortunately Sakura was seated in the middle of the class, whereas the other two were in the back.
Rather than listening to what Mr. Sarutobi was talking about, Sasuke spent the majority of class looking at Sakura. He noticed her sun kissed skin, from the Suna sun, and her cherry blossom hair had gotten longer, now reaching the middle of her back.
As class was dismissed, Naruto ran over to her, inquiring about her schedule. “I have math next, then art, and then lunch.”
“I have history and PE,” he pouted. “But I think Teme here had math too.”
Sakura looked up at him, “with Ms Yuhi?” Sasuke nodded, trying to keep his eyes off her soft looking lips.
“You two should walk together then! I gotta go, but I’ll see you both at lunch!”
Sasuke wasn’t sure if he should thank or punch Naruto for setting him up.
“How was your summer?” she asked as they walked out of the class.
“Ok I guess. How was yours?”
“Super fun! I had a great time in Suna!” She beamed. “Sorry I couldn’t spend any time with you or Naruto, I really missed you both.” Sakura shyly looked down.
He took solace in knowing she missed him, even after what happened before she left. “It’s ok, you couldn’t help it,” he tried to hide his smile. “Sakura.” When he said her name, her head jerked up to meet his gaze. “Can I talk to you later? It’s important.”
“Of course!” She eagerly told him. “I’m busy after school but maybe during lunch?”
“Ah”
Third period couldn’t end fast enough for Sasuke. He met up with Naruto and the rest of their friends at their usual table near the stairs. He tapped his fingers on the surface as he waited for her. Only five minutes had passed, but he was starting to grow impatient.
“Relax Teme, I’m sure she’ll be here soon.”
“I’m not –“ he started but the Dobe’s grin made him stop. Naruto had always known of his friend’s feelings for their blossom friend. Sasuke never told him, but he could always tell.
“Oh,” Ino piped up. “You guys don’t know?”
“Know what?” Naruto asked as Sasuke thought the same thing.
Before she had the chance to answer, something pink caught his attention. Sasuke turned his head and saw Sakura walking towards them. Only she was holding hands with a guy. Feeling a pang in his chest, Sasuke felt his stomach lurch and his breath get caught in his lungs. He was only slightly taller than her, with red hair and brown eyes. Based on his uniform, he was a year above them.
“Sorry I’m late!” She said to the group. “I wanted to introduce my boyfriend, Sasori. Sasori this is –“
Sasuke didn’t listen to her introductions, but rather tried to piece together how this happened. Did they meet over the summer? That was the only possibility. He had never seen them together or heard her speak of him before.
Sasori left to go eat with his friends at a different table, and Sakura slipped into an open spot next to Sasuke. “What did you want to talk about?” She asked. Looking at the table, Sakura noticed his hands were still balled into fists. “Hey, are you ok?”
When she tried to place her hand on top of his, Sasuke moved it away. “I’m fine,” he said in a harsh tone and averted his gaze.
Looking at him, Sakura knew he was lying, but she also knew pushing for an answer would only make him more upset. “What did you want to talk about?” She asked again.
“It’s nothing.”
“But I thought you said –“
“I know what I said,” he snapped. As he finally looked at her, Sasuke could see the hurt in her glossy green eyes, and was filled with immediate regret.
With everyone else at the table looking at them, he got up and left.
Sakura watched as Sasuke departed from the lunch table, trying to piece together what just happened.
Suddenly she felt a warm hand on hers, and she looked over to see Naruto had moved next to her.
“Don’t worry Sakura-chan, he’s probably just cranky cause he had to get up early, ya know?” he tried to comfort. “I’ll go see what’s up!”
After a bit of searching, Naruto found Sasuke sitting in the courtyard, head bowed in the palm of his hands.
“What the hell is your problem?! Why’d you yell at her like that?”
“Did you know?” Sasuke harshly asked.
“Know what?” When his friend looked up, Naruto could tell what he was referring to. “No. I was just as shocked as you,” he paused for a moment. “But isn’t this a good thing?”
Sasuke ignored the question and continued to glare at him.
“You rejected her, remember? You’re the one who said you didn’t have feelings for her, which we both know is a lie,” Naruto bluntly reminded him. “If you’re not going to tell her the truth, then she deserves to move on and be happy.”
As he silently sat there, part of Sasuke thought this was a blessing in disguise. If Sakura moved on then there’d be no reason for him to confess. He would just continue suppressing his feelings like always.
“I’m going back,” Naruto said, turning away. “I’ll tell Sakura-chan that you weren’t feeling good, but you need to apologize! Got it?” Without waiting for a response, the blonde Uzumaki left.
Sasuke didn’t see Sakura for the rest of the day, and informed Naruto she wouldn’t be joining them on their walk home.
According to Naruto, Sakura and Sasori met in Suna. “Every summer he stays with his grandma. I guess she’s friends with the same family as Sakura-chan’s parents. Then one thing led to another and now they’re dating.”
Later that evening, Sasuke decided he should call Sakura. A text would be the easier option, but he wanted to hear her voice. Plopping himself on his bed, he laid on his back and took his phone out of his hoodie pocket.
As he waited for her to answer, Sasuke started to wonder if she would even want to talk to him. After the way he acted, he wouldn’t be surprised if she –
“Sasuke-kun?” It took him a second to register that she actually picked up. Hearing her calm voice on the other end made his heart beat increase as he gripped the phone tighter. “Sasuke-kun are you there?”
“Yes! Ah I mean, yeah” he fumbled. “I just wanted to apologize for the way I acted during lunch. I’m sorry.”
A moment of silence passed between them, while he waited for her response.
“It’s ok. Naruto said you weren’t feeling well. How are you doing?”
“Ah, I took a nap after I got home, so I feel a little more rested.”
“Do you want me to bring you any medicine tomorrow?”
Hearing her offer, Sasuke couldn’t help but smile a bit. “No, I think I’ll live,” he jested.
Sakura giggled on the other end, “always so dramatic.”
Sasuke could hear her mom call her. “Sorry, I gotta help with dinner. I'll see you tomorrow!”
“Yeah. See you tomorrow.”
“Have a good night, Sasuke-kun,” she said before hanging up.
Sasuke felt good about how their call went. It seemed like things would, at the very least, go back go normal between them.
And it did for a bit.
As the school year progressed, Sasuke couldn’t help but noticed he was seeing less and less of Sakura.
At first she would eat lunch with them everyday, sometimes she would walk to and from school with Sasuke and Naruto, and help them with their school work. But now the only time Sasuke saw her was during first and second period, and she’d make excuses not to walk with him between the two classes. “I haven’t seen Sakura-chan in a few months,” his mother commented during a family dinner. “How is she?”
“I wouldn’t know, she spends all of her time with her boyfriend Sasori,” there was a hint of bitterness in his tone.
“Boyfriend? You mean she’s not going to be my next daughter-in-law?”
“Come now mother,” Itachi chuckled. “Don’t tease him.”
Before Itachi and Izumi went to their own home, the older brother found Sasuke studying in his room.
“So what happened?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” his younger brother grumbled, not bothering to look up from his textbook.
Itachi leaned against the doorframe. “Last time we talked, you seemed adamant about talking to Sakura about the future of your relationship.”
“That was before she started dating someone.”
“His name is Sasori? Does he have short, red hair?”
Sasuke looked up at his brother, unsure what to think. “Yeah. Why?”
“I don’t know him well, but we have a few mutual friends,” Itachi said, crossing his arms. “I hear he can be a bit manipulative. Treating girls like they’re nothing but his personal puppets.”
Grinding his jaw, Sasuke felt a pit grow in his stomach. Was this the reason why Sakura had been distancing herself? Because Sasori was making her?
“I’m just saying, you should check on her,” Itachi added. “Put your jealousy aside and be the friend she needs.”
The following days Sasuke pondered how to go about talking to Sakura. All of his previous text messages had been left on read, his calls ignored, and she’d dart out of first period before he could get to her.
He considered asking Ino. They were best friends, so if anyone would know how Sakura was doing, it would be her. “I don’t hear much from her these days,” Ino said when he asked after school. “I’ll be honest, Sasori seems a little possessive.”
An alarm started going off in Sasuke’s head. “How so?”
“Like whenever we would go out, he’d be texting her about where she was and who she was with. Sometimes he’d invite himself, and I’d notice he would tell her what she could and couldn’t do or talk to.”
He was starting to think his earlier guess was correct. Sasuke was beating himself up over how he could have been so blind, that he should have tried harder to get through to Sakura.
“Have you brought this to her attention?” He asked.
“Of course! But you know how she can be, Sakura thinks that she can handle this on her own.” Ino lowered her eyes and anxiously played with her blonde hair. “I feel responsible for what’s happening,” she confessed.
Sasuke tilted his head slightly to the side, confused by what she meant.
“When Sakura told me Sasori had asked her out, she asked me if she should accept his offer. I remembered how sad she was at the end of sophomore year, and I encouraged her to go through with it. If I didn't, maybe…”
“It’s not your fault,” he told her. “If anything, it’s mine.” Sasuke took a deep breath. “I wasn’t honest with her.”
Baby blue eyes suddenly shot up to look at him. “You…have feelings for her?? Why didn’t you say anything?!”
“Because I’m an idiot, is that what you want me to say!?” Sasuke was still frustrated at himself for not telling her back then.
Ino clicked her tongue, unimpressed, “So what are you going to do now?”
“Whatever I can to help her,” he determinedly said and walked off.
During one of his classes, Sasuke left to use the bathroom. As he exited the men’s room, he bumped into someone else. It was Sakura. As she stumbled backwards, Sasuke reached out and caught her wrist. She looked up at him, before quickly averting her gaze. But Sasuke could tell she had been crying. Her regular vibrant green eyes seemed dull, like they had last their sparkle. They were bloodshot and puffy too.
Rage began to bubble inside him to the point where he thought he could see red, tightening his grip on her without thinking. “Sakura, who did this to you?” He demanded to know. “Tell me, was it him?”
“Sasuke-kun,” she winced. “You’re hurting me.”
Sasuke loosened his grip but moved his hand to her forearm, pulling her closer, not wanting to risk her running off. He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. Getting angry at her wasn’t going to help the situation, especially when she wasn’t the one he was upset with.
A scowl appeared on her face. “It’s none of your business.”
“If someone hurts you, then it is my business.”
“Why? It’s not like we’re dating or you like me for that matter.”
“What gave you that idea?” He genuinely asked. It wasn't like Sasuke befriended people for the sake of it. The only ones he truly considered his friends were Sakura and Naruto. Even if they got on his nerves sometimes, of course he liked them. “Did Sasori tell you that?”
Brows still furrowed and mouth twisted downwards, Sakura remained silent.
“He did, didn't he.” It wasn’t a question, because her silence was enough of a confirmation. Everything was starting to come together, Itachi’s warning and Ino’s concern. “Sakura, he's not a good person.”
“Are you going to tell me to break up with him too?”
“Would you listen to me if I did?”
“Why do you even care?” She earnestly asked when her jade orbs met his onyx one.
“Because I –“ but the words got caught in his throat. She stared at him, waiting for an answer. His heart was rapidly beating in his chest to the point where he thought it might explode. Sasuke never imagined saying these three words would be so difficult, but it wasn't the words themselves, rather the weight they carried.
As if his brain short circuited, his body moved on its own. Lips pressed against each other for what felt like an eternity, but was a few seconds.
It was Sakura who broke their kiss, when she shoved him away and thus freed herself from his hold. She looked at him with wide eyes, a mix of hurt and shock written across her expression. On the other end, Sasuke knew he had messed up. He didn’t mean for that to happen, it just did.
“I didn’t mean…Sakura I’m sorry I was…” he tapered off when she turned her back to him, and started to walk away.
“What’s going on out here?” Mr. Hatake came out of his classroom. “Uchiha, aren’t you supposed to be in class?”
Not listening to the teacher, Sasuke kept his onyx orbs fixated on the girl as she rounded the corner and left his line of sight.
“You’re lucky this is my free period, only my TA and I heard your conversation.” Sasuke peered into the mostly empty room, to see a guy with long blonde hair pulled up into a high ponytail. “I’ll let off with a warning this time, but I suggest you get back to class, before I’m forced to give you detention.”
That night Sasuke repeatedly messaged Sakura, apologizing for what happened in the hallway, but was left on read each time.
He sent her a final text, asking to meet her during lunch the next day so he could explain his actions. To his surprise, Sakura agreed and told him to meet her by her locker after third period ended.
As soon as the bell rang, he hurried through the halls and into the courtyard. He was about halfway through when someone shoulder checked him from behind, causing the Uchiha to hit the concrete.
“Oops.” A familiar voice spoke, making the hair on the back of his next stand up.
Sasuke stood back up, and turned to see Sasori and the blonde guy from yesterday.
“Sakura said she wouldn’t be joining me for lunch today,” Sasori dryly spoke. “I told her not to talk to you, after that blonde friend of hers mentioned you were worried.”
A small crowd of students were starting to form around them.
“You don’t own her,” Sasuke sneered at the red head. “She can make her own decisions.”
Sasori took a couple steps, until he was right in front of Sasuke. “You had your chance with her, Uchiha, and you blew it.” Tauntingly, Sasori shoved Sasuke back with a smug grin. And Sasuke had finally reached his limit.
Sakura was waiting by her locker, periodically checking her phone for any new messages from Sasuke.Most of the other students had already cleared the halls by this point.
Where was he? She questioned. Was he standing her up to pay her back? It wasn’t that she wanted to ignore him or her other friends, but her boyfriend didn’t approve of any of them.
Not only that, busy Sasori hated it whenever she’d talk to or about Sasuke. Even after she assured them there was nothing between them, he still thought otherwise.
Yesterday, Ino had approached the couple, informing Sakura of Sasuke’s concerns about her. When the pinkette told Sasori she wanted to talk with him, and that’s when he threatened to break up with her.
Sakura was trying her hardest to make this relationship work, to make her boyfriend happy, but it was exhausting. She was drained and just needed to let her emotions out. That’s when she decided to skip fourth period, and went into the bathroom to cry.
“Sakura!” Ino shouted as she ran towards her. “Sakura you have to get to the courtyard!”
“Why? What’s going on??”
“It’s Sasuke-kun and Sasori!” She huffed, trying to catch her breath. “They’re fighting! C’mon we gotta go!” Ino grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the scene.
Upon arriving, Sakura saw a massive crowd of students. As she pushed her way through, she saw the two boys, both with bloody faces. Instinctively she ran into the epicenter, forcing herself between the two. “Stop!”
Sasori was about to punch Sasuke, but his girlfriend was now standing between them. “What are you doing Sakura? Get out of the way!” But she didn’t budge, rather she glared at him.
Without a word, she turned to look at Sasuke. He didn’t look as beat up as Sasori, she noted. He also wouldn’t make eye contact with her either. Taking Sasuke’s hand in hers, she began to make her way to the nurses office.
“Sakura,” Sasori called out, causing her to pause. “If you walk away, we’re over. For good.” She could feel everyone’s stares as if they burned a hole on her back, including the Uchiha’s, waiting for her decision. But Sakura had already made up her mind.
Tentatively letting go of Sasuke’s hand, she turned to face him. His handsome face now bloodied and dirty. Then looking behind him to see her boyfriend who continued to beckon her over.
Sakura walked past her long time friend, towards Sasori, and Sasuke felt his heart break for the second time, the first being when he learned of their relationship. Part of him wanted to stop her but he thinks that there’s no point, she already made up her mind. So he stared at the spot where she stood seconds ago.
A loud smack and audible gasps echo across the courtyard, causing him to quickly turn around, fearing for the worst. But the sight isn’t what he expected to see.
Sakura’s arm is stretched out as if she just swatted a bug, and Sasori’s head is turned to the side with a hand on his cheek. “I’m not a puppet for you to control,” she said before pivoting around.
Without so much as a glance or another word, she strode back to Sasuke and grabbed his wrist, leading him away. He doesn’t know where they’re going, and doesn’t care to ask. When they entered the nurse's office, Ms Senju wasn’t there. Probably on her break, she figured.
“Sit,” Sakura said to him. He complied, taking a seat on one of the beds, while Sakura got some supplies to clean his wounds. She put everything on the small bedside table, and took a seat next to him.
Sasuke intently watched her, as she took a warm washcloth and wiped his face. “Sakura I -“
“Just stay quiet,” she firmly told him. “I need to concentrate.” Next she disinfected his wounds, which stung but was nothing unbearable.
Green orbs floated across his face. “It’s not as bad as I thought,” she said, referring to the cuts and scrapes. Sakura put a hand in the side of his face, gently rubbing her thumb over a bruise that had begun to form under his eye. “You might -“
“I’m sorry,” he managed to get out.
“Sorry? For what?” she coolly asked.
“Everything.” He took hold of her hand, bringing it down between them. “For beating up your boyfriend.”
“Didn’t you hear? I don’t have a boyfriend anymore.”
“For kissing you without your consent,” he added. “And for lying to you at the end of last year.”
Before she had the chance to question the last part, Sasuke dropped his head to the crook of her neck. Taking in her strawberry scent and close proximity, he momentarily closed his eyes. “I have feelings for you,” he murmured, just loud enough for her to hear.
He lifted his head when he felt her body stiffen. Looking down into Sakura’s watery eyes, he explained everything. His plans to study abroad after graduation, his worry for their relationship, how he was planning to tell her after summer break but couldn’t because she had a boyfriend now.
“I can’t promise our relationship will always be easy, but I will do everything I can to make you happy. If you’ll have me, that is?”
For the first time in a long while, genuinely Sakura smiled.
Sasuke leaned forward, stopping just as their noses brushed each other. “Can I?”
Her eyes closed as she told him, “Yes.”
Their kiss was slow and soft, unlike last time, yet over too quickly. But Sasuke reminds himself that they’ll have many more opportunities in the future.

Itachia Uchiha Angst Relationship Headcanons
A/N: This is my first ever writing piece 😊& GN reader
Always second: No matter what, you’ll always be second to Sasuke. As the Second Hokage said; Uchiha’s love intensely and Itachi’s most important love is fraternal love. He’ll spend the whole day with his brother if he asked and cancel that date you spent weeks planning. Know that if Sasuke doesn’t approve your relationship basically ends there. If he had to choose between you and his brother, he’ll always pick him no matter the cost.
Murdered his lover in canon: He murdered his lover, Izumi Uchiha, after putting her in a genjutsu where she got everything she wanted- they married, had kids and grew old but it wasn’t real. If he had to, he would kill or hurt you. Yes, he would hate himself but he would still do it for Sasuke Uchiha, the Village or in the name of peace. He is not truly loyal to you and you’ll never be able to truly trust him.
Easily manipulated: Danzo got his claws in him. Maybe if he had questioned why they would bother leaving Sasuke alive or what the consequences might be or even if he opened up to Captain “those who betray their friends are worse than scum” Kakashi, the massacre could have been avoided. Even after the massacre he doesn’t question “how is Madara still alive?” or “where is Orochimaru?” or “since everyone is dead what will they do with those spare eyes, that’s super convenient?” You’ll have to make sure he is not manipulated, especially against you.
Emotionally stunted: Being in ANBU at 11 and his father bringing him to the battlefield at age 4 is not good for your mental health. His isolation and inability to make friends (apart for Shisui) made it easy for him to be manipulated because he was unable to confide in people. He won’t share his feelings with you and he’ll focus entirely on you because he doesn’t believe he is worthy of you. It could make for an unhealthy one-way relationship.
Hypocrite: He is the mass-murdering pacifist, the kind clan killer and he hurts those he loves the most for the “greater good”. His ideology is very black-and-white. He knows the village is not all good (cough cough Danzo) but he treats it like it is. Never questioning what or why he is doing anything, it’s always for this abstract concept of “peace” or “good” but doesn’t have any critical thinking skills to analyse them. So even though Danzo is kidnapping, enslaving and killing children and the Uchiha have been discriminated against, it’s ok because it’s the village doing it. Anyone who questions it or tries to rise up against any injustice from the village are traitors and killed. He was raised a solider and was taught to “be a tool” and always obey, but Yamato and Kakashi were both able to question things and go against orders. By Yamato not killing Kakashi and Kakashi not killing the Third Hokage under Danzo. He’s a person of extremes and doesn’t see the third option or the middle ground or consider other peoples perspectives. It would be quite infuriating in a relationship.

Have you ever just… started cackling like a madman (I’m currently unaware if there are other gender terms to that word) when you write something that just feels right?
Oh BIG time. Infact- here's a couple snippets that had me cackling like a witch (I use that term to describe myself so I'm chill with it.) Spoilers under cut.
POTSOD
Stain opens and closes his mouth, a wide eyed look to his face as Midoriya continues, her voice rising, “You were about to call Endeavour a fake hero right? Well under your view he would be one of the few heroes LEFT because his family made their money before he became a hero. And frankly? If you asked HALF the civilians here tonight, I bet none of them would agree that the person saving them isn’t a hero because they want money or because they want to be cool,” Midoriya scoffs loudly. “Why are you going after heroes and not doctors who only want to be doctors because of the money? Oh right- because it’s not as attention grabbing. You’re nothing more then a hypocrite frantically trying to claim he’s better then everyone else.”
Betrothal Verse
Takahashi scowled, moving to the photocopier. She would handle this, and enable the good of society. As well as her paycheck really, given she knew how much For the Future would pay for this information. It wouldn’t take long, simply photocopying the notes, a little photo editing to get rid of the name and she would be golden.
Takahashi felt to angry, and to greedy to truly think things through as she photocopied the notes. She forgot that For The Future sent out magazines containing not only happy stories of successful fertility treatments but also included the various people submitted for matchmaking. She forgot the names of those who submitted them would be included in the magazine when she did so. She left off Hasegawa’s name when she did, eager for the money to go to her pocket.
Three weeks after Takahashi found the file, she found herself in cuffs as her boss held the magazine in her hands, the page open to the profile of Midoriya Izumi, sent in by Takahashi Suri.
POTSOD Again
“You lost any right to call my mom Auntie.” Midoriya tells him bluntly. Bakugou looks taken aback as the class trade looks. “And to be frank I was terrified. I had no idea I had a Quirk, I was scared they wouldn’t believe me and I would get in trouble and I just wanted to pretend it never happened. Of course I couldn’t but…” Midoriya sighs. “Mom as well is no help. She hates Tomoe- keeps telling me I ruined my life, won’t help at all-”
“A- Your mom isn’t like that!” Bakugou says, standing up. Midoriya simply looks at him.
“I think I know my mother better then you do. You only know the face she gives to the public. I know how she plans on marrying me off to some random person with a strong Quirk. It’s why I wanted UA so badly. She needs their permission to.” Midoriya tells him.

Yandere! Itachi X Reader Headcannons
The reader is precieved as a normal civilization rather than a ninja.
ALSO I learned how to do the "read more" thing on my phone and now I'm happy uvu- and to any friends that read this, I'm so sorry but I've never been so dedicated to a fandom in a long time lol. I might make a oneshot later for this, too, and I do, you should see a link under this paragraph somewhere.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
🖤 Itachi is a mature and collected person, so I'd think it'd be unlikely for him to just grow obsessed at once. Itachi would have to come across Y/N many times before releasing he's in love.
🖤 The way he'd meet Y/N would be when he'd be scouting an area for a particular enemy. He'd happen to come across her, who interacted with him a little but nothing interesting happened. Overtime, the two would see each other here and there, until eventually everyday.
🖤 When his enemy he was looking for had been eliminated, he said his goodbyes to Y/N before leaving. He expected to move on, but his mind would wonder back to her no matter how hard he tried.
🖤 Eventually, Itachi would see Y/N whenever he had free time. He'd make room in his day to spend hours together; they'd go out to eat, participate in festivals, talk, and more.
🖤 On Y/N's side, it didn't take long before she started to feel romantic interest. Afterall, Itachi was calm, collected, smart, strong, fun to be around, and seemed genuinely interested in her. She was definitely in love before he was.
🖤 Around the time Itachi would visit the Leaf Village to find Naruto, he strangely started to worry a lot about Y/N learning about who he was and fear him. He couldn't help but want to shield her from the truth, and if the people around them learned that the man Y/N was with was wanted, it would end bad for them.
🖤 Itachi was inevitably worrying a little too much about the possibility of her finding out. He went to see her and did his best to distract her from any gossip or drama whatsoever to ensure she'd never hear about the Akatsuki. His time spent with her increased from a few hours to half the day.
🖤 Itachi wouldn't ever want to kidnap or drag people into his life. He hates killing, he hates being "evil", he hates everything about his dark lifestyle. The decision to either abandon someone he began to care for or to take her away was a very hard one.
🖤 Itachi realized something in the process of thinking of a solution. He loved Y/N; he loved her to the point where the thought of her hating or fearing him scared him so badly. Even with Sasuke, the thought of him having him was terrifying but something he could live with.
🖤 It was releasing to learn about his own true feelings. He was desperately in love with Y/N, to the point where she was like air, or food, or water. Like in order to live, she had to be around.
🖤 As word spread about two strange people walking around Konoha and that Orochimaru took the last Uchiha, it was inevitable that Y/N would learn about the info. The next time she saw Itachi, she brought it up to him and expressed her discomfort in the fact that she could be among evil people.
🖤 He was scared. So scared that she would hate him for his lifestyle after finding out about who he really is. So that was it; his mind was made. He took Y/N away that night.
🖤 When word about the Akatsuki in Konoha, he received a lot more looks when he was in public than normal. He'd usually have a normal kimono on and have his hair in a different, though similar, style in order to appear normal. But he knew deep down in his heart that people are bound to start suspecting him of being an Akatsuki. And overhearing someone talk about an S class Uchiha member is what did it.
🖤 "You've been asking about where I live for a whole now. Would you like see my home?" Itachi asked. Y/N happily agreed to go, and sorta expected his home to be outside of her village. But the further she traveled, she grew a bit nervous and wanted to return home (as you would if you were led outside of your village into deep woods)
🖤 Itachi wasn't escorting Y/N alone. Of course, the Akatsuki is bound to learn about that girl Itachi insisted on bringing up in most of his little amounts of conversations. It was obvious he was obsessed with her, as much as he would try to hid it, but he just couldn't get her off his mind. So the night where he choose to bring her home, Kisame was watching the two frkm afar in case something happened.
🖤 Before that day, Itachi had mentioned that he wanted to protect Y/N. Over the three months Itachi spent with Y/N, he had plenty of time to talk about her enough to where the other members basically knew her.
🖤 Itachi actually got a few of the members (ex. Kisame, Deidara) were interested in Y/N as well. How could someone as "heartless" as Itachi Uchiha fall in love, and in such a dramatic way at that? They were sorta curious to see what was so special about her.
🖤 Anyway, you can imagine how Itachi convinced Y/N to go far enough into the woods to go to a small little cottage. Was it part of the Akatsuki hideout? No. Itachi would never trust the Akatsuki members with Y/N alone, and she needs her freedom to walk around a house.
🖤 The inside was sorta minimalistic, but not completely empty. To the far right was a kitchen was a small dining table with two chairs, and on the opposite side was two rooms. In one room was a single bed with a closet in it, and in the other room was a bathroom. Between the kitchen and two rooms was a small living room with a couch, coffee table, and more. There were bored games in a little dresser in the living room, along with a full bookshelf with books of all genres.
🖤 "Care for dinner?" Itachi had asked. He wanted to tell Y/N why she's there over a dinner he made and had prepared in advance. It turns out he was amazing at cooking.
🖤 It wasn't very easy, but Itachi managed to explain his feelings towards Y/N. Of course, Y/N happily excepted and was quick to hug and express her feelings towards him. He returned the hug and spoke about how he loved her very much, however he had so much more to say to her.
🖤 Justifyingly so, Y/N was frozen in shock when Itachi told his story. He killed everyone in his clan aside from his brother, the well-known Uchiha. How he fled his clan after committing the murders and joined an infamous group; The Akatsuki.
🖤 While displaying himself as calm, he was so overwhelmed and scared within his mind. He knew he'd have to tell her why she's staying at the house and why, from now one, she'll never leave. But he was smart enough to know she wouldn't simply except living here out of love. He would have to be a bit manipulative to keep Y/N.
🖤 Y/N was mortified and didn't notice the tears pouring out of her eyes. She fell desperately in love with a murderer. She felt so sick, so scared. She stood up, begging to go home so desperately, trembling over her own words. She was so scared for her life now, and what Itachi's intentions were. Truly, Itachi's heart broke at this.
🖤 "Y/N, darling," Itachi spoke, his words laced with love as she softly grabbed Y/N wrists and leaned close. "I had to take you away. I couldn't let them take you from me."
🖤 He was very delicate with Y/N as he calmed her down, as if she was glass. His heart ached at her pain, but he truly believed it was for the best. In a way it really was; people saw Y/N with the tall raven boy many times in public, and her parents and friends had met him too. Once they find out that boy is the Itachi, Y/N could be killed if they think she was aiding him.
🖤 Itachi did his best to show her around and make her feel comfortable. But no matter what he did, Y/N felt so broken, so empty, so confused. There's no way that sweet Itachi she loves is a killer. He has to be lying.
🖤 Over the course of a few days, Y/N learned to except the fact she's held at that small home. She tried to think on the good side; she could decorate it how she wants, has more freetime, can focus on her hobbies and learn to cook new things, and more! Even if she's never allowed to leave the house, Itachi let's her do basically anything around the home.
🖤 Y/N still loves him. As months go by of being alone for a few days without Itachi, some days with him for a little bit, and some full days with him, she still couldn't help but appreciate him just as much as before. No, she appreciates him more even. She just can't help but love him, and he loves her too.
🖤 Itachi felt much more relaxed around Y/N and tried to spend every second he could with her. He was so shameful of keeping her from her home, but it was for the best wasn't it?
🖤 Most of Itachi's emotions about keeping her was all because he lived her and never wanted to see her with anyone else. But he had always found an excuse as to why it's for the best that she's never with anyone else.
🖤 Kisame had met Y/N a few times. She was never comfortable with him however and was typically holding onto Itachi's sleeve, or leaning on him when he's around. However Kisame would be around when Itachi wasn't sometimes to keep watch.
🖤 As long as Itachi or Kisame was present, Y/N is allowed to go outside and visit close villages other than the one Y/N is from. She would be allowed to buy anything she wanted and could afford from these places, but she had to go home eventually.
🖤 At the end of the day, Y/N had quite a lot of freedom and eventually, she was happy. She was happy to be living with Itachi and was perfectly happy calling him her husband.
🖤 Itachi never wanted a marriage though. He was going blind and he planned to be murdered by his brother and he never dared to make her a young widow. When Izumi had died, he felt so distraught and he knew Y/N is bound to feel the same, but even worse if they got married.
🖤 When Itachi died, as said, Y/N was distraught. No, she was mortified. Absolutely mortified. Even if she was free, she had lost the last person she had a connection with. And she carried that sorrow to her grave.
prequel masterlist ♕ chp three
From the outside, the Miya’s were a very well-known family with a prestigious family. Miya Kaito was a well-known businessman in Japan who took over his father’s Marketing company. Miya Izumi, the twins’ mother was much lesser known than their father but was still in the public eye. She was an author of a best-selling novel who lived in Sendai but moved to Kasai when she married Kaito. They had two twin sons who excelled in volleyball and were sure to go professional straight after high school.
They were picture-perfect. But to your eyes, they were everything but.
Atsumu’s prediction of his father's absence at dinner two weeks ago had turned out to be correct. You, Osamu and his mother had waited at the table for almost 40 minutes before coming to the conclusion that once again, he was not coming home.
The lavish mansion was a veil for a broken home.
A father who worked more than he saw his family, a mother who went on trips weekly to resorts to escape her life and two children who had to suffer at the hands of their parents’ actions.
You couldn’t help but think of their family dynamic as you were in the kitchen scouring through the fridge for breakfast, a day before your 18th birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Miya weren’t soulmates but they seemed like they didn’t even like each other. It seemed like their public reputation was the only thing keeping them together.
That was the last thing that you wanted with your soulmate. You were less than 24 hours away from turning eighteen and you couldn’t help but think about who they might be.
Do they live in the Huygo prefecture? Are they the same age as you? Are they kind? A romantic? Were they just as excited to know your identity? Would we have a physical or emotional connection?
Questions like these ran through your mind ever since you woke up.
Usually, your breakfasts were something solid to fuel you for the rest of the day, but you were so nervous for tomorrow that you could barely keep anything down. You decide that some fruit would be enough for now. You stack clear contains which green grapes, strawberries and cherries in one arm as you use your free one to close the fridge door.
Maybe they’re in California? You’d meet them there when studying for school perhaps?
The questions continued to flow as you sat down at the counter in the kitchen on a bar stool as you munched on the grapes. You were so wrapped up in your questions that you barely even noticed that someone had walked in.
You almost choke on the grape when you realize who she was. It was the same girl who was making out with Atsumu in the cafeteria two weeks ago. She also must have been the owner of those over-exaggerated moans that still made you sick to your stomach.
Even though you took a while to acknowledge her, she still hadn’t noticed you. Confused laced your eyes are you stare at her half-naked figure opening the fridge in front of you. The only thing covering her was a large white button shirt with two buttons together at her chest, which you assumed was Atsumu’s.
As you were studying her in slight disgust, she finally noticed your presence.
“Oh hi, I’m Yui,” she said as she tucked her dirty blonde hair behind her hair.
“Yeah, I know, we’re in the same calculus class,” you say before you place mother grape in your mouth. Judging by her reaction to your words, she hadn’t even acknowledged you, but you couldn’t care less.
She stood there in a slight shock before hesitantly speaking again.
“So, are you dating ‘Samu?” she asked as she leaned her body on the side of the fridge door. Her words caused you to choke on the grape that laid on your tongue.
“Samu? No!” You manage to squeak out between your violent coughs. “He’s just my friend”
She seems to be confused by your statement. You never had thought about Osamu in that way and you weren’t sure why she would think that.
“Well, then why are you around here all the time?” Now it was your turn to look confused at her words.
“Excuse me?” You raise an eyebrow as you reply.
“You were the one who knocked on Atsumu’s door, right? The one he called princess?” she said as she crossed her arms in front of her half-exposed chest.
Ah, now you understood. Was she jealous?
“Yeah, I was.” your tone changes as your patience was slowly seeping through your fingers like grains of sand.
She nodded her head before stepping closer to the opposite of the table. “‘Tsumu’s mine, so don’t come around here anymore if it's for him.” she spits out with a grin as if she had accomplished something.
You take a moment to respond to her. In one swift movement, you stand from your stool and start to close the container of grapes in front of you.
“One, I live here, I’ve been living here since I was 6,” you said as you snapped the containers louder than you usually did. “Two, the last thing I want is to be around Atsumu.”
You gather the containers and make your way in front of Yui. She said nothing as she stood and watched you place the fruits back into its assigned tray.
“And three, he’s not yours. You’ll be gone by the end of the week, sweetheart.” that was the last thing you said to her as you exited the kitchen. You didn’t stick around the see her jaw hang slack, appalled at the words that came out of your mouth.
You knew she attacked you because of Atsumu but was she that oblivious that she couldn’t see what laid between the two of you?
pure annoyance and animosity
“The audacity!” Stephanie exclaimed as you retold the events from this morning as you two sat outside the school waiting for the boys' volleyball practice to conclude.
“I don’t even want to think about it anymore, it gives me a headache.” you shook your head to the side as you try to forget the whole meeting. “Thanks again for giving me a ride today too, Steph.”
Your usual ride had to stay later than usual to make up his missed chemistry test and you rather walk the 30 mins than ask Atsumu to join him home. Stephanie was more than happy to drive you home after akaashi came out from practice. Because of Mara’s feelings for Atsumu, you never felt comfortable discussing him with her. You didn’t want her to feel bad for liking someone she despised. One can not control whom they love, so you spared her feelings and confided in Stephanie when it came to Atsumu.
“Don’t mention it!” she said as a smile pulled at her lips. “You excited for tomorrow? Finally going to be 18 and find your person!”
Your birthday completely slipped your mind as you focused on the Yui situation.
“I’m so nervous! hopefully, I can find him,” you said as you looked down at your hands. Stephanie could recognize your worry and placed her hand on your shoulder.
“Try not to worry y/n. You’ll find them. I remember the same feeling right before my birthday. The anxiety was eating at my soul but, in the end, everything was perfect. It’ll be like that for you too.” She empathized.
Akaashi and her were your only pair of soulmates to admire; They were the only two you knew. Your parents were also soulmates but you couldn’t see their love blossom due to his passing. You saw how much your mother loved and grieved him, but you weren’t old enough at the time to remember him loving her as much.
“I think they’re done,” Stephanie said as she held her hand. “I felt his signal.”
Akaashi and her shared physical touch. If in 500 meters of her, whatever Akaashi felt physically, so would Stephanie.
And as if it was timed, right after her statement the team came through the school's entrance doors.
“Hey!” Akaashi said as he waived at the two of you. He situated himself right behind his girlfriend. He muttered a small ‘hello’ as he kissed the top of her head and held her hand and rubbed small circles with his thumb against the back of it.
so that must have been their signal.
You could only wish your soulmate was as kind and loving as Akaashi.
You unknowingly stare at the couple in front of you as your phone starts to ring with your mother's picture displayed on the screen.
“Hi, mom” you answer.
“y/n! I need you to run to the store for me. I forgot a few ingredients for dinner today, could you get Osamu to drive you to the market?” Your mother said urgently.
“Uh, I would but ‘Samu’s taking a test right now, he won't be done any time soon.”
“Then can you ask Atsumu to take you?” Her words made you cringe at the thought of being in such close proximity to him for that long.
“Mom, I-” but before you could finish your refusal she interrupts.
“Please, y/n. I’m desperate.” she pleaded.
You wanted to protest. You wanted to tell her that going with Atsumu would be impossible, that he wouldn’t even take you in the first place but then you remembered how hard she works. She worked this hard for you, so this was the least you could do for her.
“Okay, I’ll ask him,” you say in a slightly sombre tone as you accept your defeat.
“Thank you!! I’ll send you the list, love you!” those were the last words you heard before she hung up.
“Ready to go?” Stephanie asked as she swung her bag over her shoulder.
“Change of plans. You guys go without me, I gotta find Atsumu.” Both their faces synchronously scrunched together in confusion.
“Are you going to be okay?” akaashi asked, clearly concerned.
You vigorously nod your head and send them on their way, thanking them for offering the ride home.
A deep sigh escapes your mouth as you make your way inside the school to find Atsumu. Luckily, or unluckily, you found him immediately standing at his locker as he was laughing at something Suna said.
You debated turning back twice but decided to suck it up. With strong strides, you walk up to Atsumu’s figure.
“Atsumu” even though you aimed for your voice to come off strong, even you could hear the strain in it.
He wore his usual volleyball attire, identical to Osamu. White joggers with a vertical black stripe doing down the side of each leg accompanied by a black t-shirt, which clung to his body due to the aftermath of an hour-long practice.
You approaching him for a change, took him by surprise a bit, but even surprise he still managed to wear that smirk to antagonize you.
“What’cha want, princess?” he said as he placed his hands in the pockets of his pants.
There was that damn nickname again.
“Um, I need you to take me to the market,” you say bluntly. Sugarcoating with Atsumu would only lead to his enjoyment but, somehow your words managed to do so anyway.
His smirk grew as he leaned back on the lockers behind him.
“And where’s the person who ya wanted to take you?” he knew he wasn’t your first choice. Hell, he wasn’t even your third or fourth choice.
“‘Samu can’t, so can you or not?” you probably shouldn’t have given him an ultimatum, especially because you had the lower ground.
“Sorry princess, can’t,” he said without a care as he slid his arm through his maroon Inarizaki jacket. “Meetin’ with Yui”
Just her name was enough to remember this morning. Your face contorts in disgust at the thought of her roaming the house barely clothed.
“Oh, you don’t have to be jealous, princess.” atsumu says after witnessing your reaction and assuming it was because of him. You can't help but snort at his response.
“I think you’re telling the wrong girl that.” you can't help but laugh as you speak. Your words earn a slight head tilt from a confused Atsumu and an amused whistle from Suna.
You turn to take your leave from his presence, but before you walk out the school entrance you turn back one more.
“Tell your girlfriend to watch what she says to me next time.” Your voice was much stronger than before. You didn’t stay behind to see the distraught faces of the two men you left behind.
You couldn’t even hear the way Atsumu slammed his locker and Suna’s voice calling him as he rushed off.
You should have eaten more today.
That was the only thing that you could think while you scurried through the food aisles slowly compiling the ingredients your mother needed. Her listen was all over the place; enoki mushrooms, powdered sugar, sesame seeds, fatty tuna, vanilla extract, rice. The list went on longer than you expected.
All the feelings you were being put through today managed to stop you from eating lunch as well. The only thing that was in your stomach was five grapes that you managed to get down before your encounter with the unexpected visitor.
The last thing on the list was a jar of raspberry preserves, which of course was located on the highest shelf of the aisle. As you stare at it, debating if you should make a fool of yourself to jump while flailing your arms to reach, a voice came from behind you.
“Need a boost, princess?” His voice started you causing you to move backwards and stumble into his chest but quickly move away from him. Before you could respond Atsumu reaches up and grabs the jar that you were eyeing.
You turn around to him with wide eyes as he hands you the jar without his usual banter. Silently, you nod your head and take the preserves from him.
“Why’d you come? Weren’t you going to hang out with your girlfriend?” you asked as you placed the jar into the cart.
“She’s not my girlfriend,” he said firmly as he placed a hand on the cart to halt you from moving.
Why was he acting this way over this? It actually seemed like he was bothered by the situation.
You opened your mouth to respond but the voice that danced on your ears did not belong to you.
“Well, this is a sight I never thought I’d see.” A deep voice sounded from behind Atsumu. Both you and Atsumu whipped your heads in the voice's direction only to be met with two faces that put a smile on your face instantly.
“Aran!” Atsumu bellowed loudly, as he embraced his friend while you exchange greetings with Kita.
“What are you guys doing here?” you asked.
“We came back from college today, decided to go shoppin’,” Kita said as he lifted up the small basket in his hand.
“Now, the more important question is, what are you two doing here?” Aran asked as his eyes bounced between you and Atsumu. Aran was a friend of the twins ever since they were 9, therefore he was your friend as well. He knew exactly how you felt about Atsumu, so that would explain the way he was looking at the two of you, alone at a grocery store as the sky was enveloped by darkness.
“My mom asked me to pick some things and uh, ‘Samu was busy,” you said quickly, hoping that he didn’t think differently.
Aran nodded his head while pressing his lips together.
“Say, aren’t you guys graduatin’ soon?” Kita said as he shifted his basket from one hand to the other. “D’ya know where you’re going for school y/n?”
Now, this was the first thing that put a smile on your face throughout the entire day. “Yeah, UCI, California!” you said with a proud girn.
“America? What program?” Kita inquired with wide eyes.
“Journalism!” the one word made everyone’s eyes widened.
“Of course it’s journalism. She's the one-woman team that runs the Inarizaki newspaper.” Aran said with a wide smile.
You continued the conversation with Aran and Kita as Atsumu wandered off somewhere in the store. You weren’t sure where he had gone but you didn’t care enough to worry.
As you and Kita conversed, Aran spotted Atsumu at the opposite end of the aisle and slips away from the conversation.
“Bro, where d’ya go?” Aran asked slightly concerned.
“Just walkin’ round,” Atsumu said as he swung his keys around his index finger.
“So, y/n’s leaving Japan?” Atsumu had an idea of where Arans questioning was leading to as he slowly nodded his head in agreement.
“How does ‘Samu feel about that?”
ding ding ding
“Probably not too good,” Atsumu asked knowing exactly how his brother feels about your pretending departure. “I wouldn’t feel too good if the girl I loved since I was 6 was leavin’ the country either”
“So is he gonna tell her?” Aran whispered.
Atsumu let out a soft snort at Aran’s words. “He had 12 years to tell her, ya think he’s gonna now?”
Atsumu knew his twin brother loved you since before they even started playing volleyball. And ever since then, Osamu has never once attempted to tell you of his feelings. It drove Atsumu mad, but he never interfered between you and him.
Before the conversion could further between him and Aran, they both see Kita waving them down.
“Let’s go Aran, y/n has to get this stuff home before dinner!” Kita said as the two large men approached you.
“Happy early birthday, y/n,” Kita said as he gave you a small hug.
At Kita’s words, Aran checked the date on his phone in a panic. “It’s tomorrow!”
“Yeah, the only reason why Kita knew was it came up in conversation” you replied. You were never one to flaunt your birthday. It wasn’t that you didn’t enjoy big parties and multiple guests but, to you birthdays meant something else.
Your fifth birthday was the only one that you could remember before your father’s death. It was celebrated by only your mother, father and you, but it seemed like the most fun a five-year-old could have. Your mother always mentioned how your father enjoyed small birthdays and how they were sacred. he would say to “only share them with people who brought you pure happiness and expected nothing in return”. And that was now how you chose to live, just like him.
“Actually, I'm having a small dinner tomorrow, do you two want to join? ‘Samu will be there, so you could catch up with him.” Your invitation earned a smile from Kita and Aran but a deep frown by the blonde beside them.
You hadn’t invited Atsumu to your birthday dinner for obvious reasons and weren’t planning to.
The two men looked at each other debating whether to accept or decline but ultimately accepted.
You were expecting Atsumu to chime in but, he hadn’t. He only looked at you with narrow eyes and a frown.
His eyes were laced with an emotion that you couldn’t quite decipher. Anger? Annoyance?
It was only then that you missed Atsumu’s stupid banter because this Atsumu,
This Atsumu seemed to be a thousand times worse
Ten minutes had passed since you last left the market and about twenty minutes since you last spoke to each other.
You two sat in complete silence as Atsumu drove to the Miya mansion in Atsumu’s Red Lamborghini. Mr. Miya bought both the twins a car of their choice for their 18th. Osamu had gone with a black Benz jeep while Atsumu went for the most flashy option.
You debated speaking to him, to break the awkward silence that filled the space between the two of you but Atsumu had already gotten ahead of you.
“Not going to extend the invitation for yer dinner?” His tone returned to its usually annoying self.
You look at him with a blank face and tired eyes. “Are you joking? It’s not like you’d come anyways.”
It was hard to believe that you two were once friends. Now you two could barely be in a car together without it imploding. He was the one that left you out of things, he was the one that no longer wanted to be your friend when you two were 8 years old. So why was antagonizing you over an invitation he wouldn’t even accept in the first place?
He just wanted to pester you in every way possible.
Minutes passed and once again the car was quiet as a mouse. Till Atsumu, once again sparked up a conversation.
“Yui,” You whipped to face Atsumu in the diver seat.
“Excuse me?”
“Yui. What did she say to ya?” He spoke without taking his eyes off the road, foot shifting between the gas and the break.
You were too tired to lie or ask why he cared, so you answered truthfully. “Your girlfriend didn’t like your nickname.”
“Not my girlfriend,” he said curtly while turning the wheel to turn on to your street.
“Fuck buddy, whatever.” you aimlessly correct yourself.
“Not anymore,” Before you could even comprehend his response, you two passed through the white gate lining the mansion.
It was far later than you thought you’d be home. The moon sat brightly in the sky as it was surrounded by small stars. it was basically night You only hoped that your mother wouldn’t be mad.
Unexpectedly, Atsumu helped you carry the grocery bags into the house. He strung 4 bags on his arms as you were left to carry one. You insisted that you can carry half his load but he was already through the door.
“‘Tsumu! y/n! Bless your hearts, thank you kids so much.” your mother said as you two placed the grocery bags on the counter in the kitchen. “Thank you for taking her, ‘Tsumu.”
“Of course, Obasa-” before atsumu could finish speaking to your mother something had caught his attention from the dining room.
Or perhaps, someone.
Before you knew it, Atsumu ran to the dining room and stood in front of the table. Instinctively, you follow him to the scene in front of you.
Sitting at the table was Osamu across from Mrs. Miya, and in between them, at the head of the table, sat a man you had not seen in a long time.
Miya Kaito, the twins’ father
“Atsumu” his father's voice sounded cold and hard as it said his son's name. Atsumu must have thought the same thing as you could see him wince at the sound of his name rolling off his father's tongue.
“So now ya decide to come home? What, finally got tired of sleeping at the office?” Atsumu’s voice was blaring, anger coursed through his veins, the only thing he could see was red.
“‘Tsumu! Stop it!” Osamu shouted from his seat in hopes to stop his brother.
“I wanted to have a meal with my family, so just sit down, Atsu-” Atsumu cut his father off not wanting to hear what he wanted to say.
“Cut the bullshit dad! Yer too busy for us and yer too busy for ma. so don’t even fucking try to fix this family, ya broke it a long time ago!” Atsumu’s voice raised in volume.
“Atsumu!” Mrs. Miya shrieked for her son to stop.
“I’m here now, okay? So sit down!” Mr. Miya’s voice matched Atsumu’s in volume as he urged his son to stop.
“You’re a fucking idiot if you think I’m gonna sit down and play house with ya.” was the last thing Atsumu said before storming up the stairs. You stood there in complete shock at what just happened.
Your eyes scanned the room around you. Mrs. Miya held her head in her hands as Osamu's face grew in irritation. Their father stood there with distraught painting his face. Your mom was still in the kitchen, but she still glanced with worry with her hand over her mouth.
Everyone in this house was shaken because of him.
Osamu stood from his seat to go after his brother but you decided to instead. Osamu shouldn’t have to worry about his brother when he's going through the same thing.
You ran up with stairs faster than you ever have to catch up to him.
“Atsumu!” you called from him as you followed him up the stairs. He ignored you as he reached the top of the stairs and walked towards his room's door.
“Atsum-” Your second attempt was deemed successful in getting his attention as he turned around and pushed you against the wall, caging you in his arms.
“What do you fuckin’ want, y/n?” His voice dripped with pure anger. He looks distraught. His eyes were red and glassy and his skin was turning an unnatural shade of red.
“Atsumu, I know you’re mad at him but just go downstairs and talk to him! Everyone’s upset. Just give him a chance.”
“What the fuck do you know about how I feel? Ya got a good mom, yer going to a good school in America and ya live in a big house, which is mine by the way. Yer miss perfect! So don’t you fucking dare tell me what to do. This isn’t your place to speak.” He yelled inches away from your face.
You parted your lips to say something but he left before you could. The slam of this door was deafening to your ears. You stood there, in front of his door in utter shock.
You knew he had a right to be angry, and in no way you were denying that right. But Osamu had every right as well, and he was sitting downstairs beside his father.
Why was it different for Atsumu? Why should he be allowed to create this mess and let everyone drown in his actions?
Why couldn’t he just try?
Atsumu’s words about you left a burden heavier than any weight that has been placed on your shoulders. If you could not speak about his family, why could he speak so thoughtlessly about yours?
Broken families came in all sorts of shapes and sizes; he out of all people should have known that the best.
You’re a Sim player. What if the Frontier charas played the Sims because the time is that of the Sims era when they’re kids.
Omg guys, I love this ask so much??? Like??? Seriously, why are you an Anon? We could be great Tumblr buds.
Honestly I’m boring, but I’m speaking through my serious heart. I can’r see anyone but Junpei and Izumi playing either Sims 3 or Sims 2 (Sims 4 has grown so frustrating to me because of reasons).
AND WHY DO I SEE JUNPEI DOING THIS MORE?!? I can see him being a builder player because in the anime he always showed himself to be so interested in projecting stuff, so maybe he could like building houses?
I have got not really that many expansions in Ts3 but I plan to buy Showtime someday, because I remember there were both the singer and the magician career? That would be his dream expansion pack.
Why can I also see Junpei actually using a Sin that’s supposed to be him? I can imagine him being one of those teens who use the game as a form of escapism from a life that doesn’t give them what they want.
Which means he would make his Sim marry a blondie, totally a random choice, definitely XD. Secret save file here.
As far concerns Izumi, I wonder what she would do??? I can see her liking the sea resort (buggy ahahaa) expansion because she wants her sim to live in such a paradise, eat traditional dishes, have the best life.
Hii! could i request some tsukasa wedding hcs?<3 Smth like how he would propose etc♡
Of course!! I'm always happy to write for Tsukasa, he's one of my personal favorites :D Hope you like this!! Decided to just make this proposal headcanons because it got pretty long, feel free to request the wedding headcanons again if you want for example the planning of the wedding or the wedding itself to be further explored!
Tsukasa proposal headcanons
It would be quite some time since you two first started dating when Tsukasa would first consider the thought of marrying you
Though he likes to believe he has grown more mature over time, not even he could deny the heavy blush appearing on his face at the mere thought of you being his spouse
He gets all giddy, dreaming about what his ideal wedding would look like, to the point where the topic wouldn't leave his mind anymore
The next few days his mind is noticeably occupied, even during Knights practice which Izumi heavily scolds him for. It's unlike him to be so unfocused, so what happened to him?
Might end up telling Arashi about his plan to propose to you in hopes of getting advice from her. He hates to admit it, but Tsukasa really has no experience with things like these. He hadn't much considered the fact that he might be allowed to choose his own partner, a possible arranged marriage always at the back of his mind. You are most likely his first partner and he just doesn't know what to do
He's 100% sure that he wants to spend the rest of his life with you, you just make him so unbelievably happy. He knows you're the one for him!
Listening to Tsukasa ramble about you, Arashi gets more and more giddy as time went on. She's so happy that the boy had found someone and is more than happy to give advice when he nervously asks for advice
Arashi tells him all about how he should choose a romantic location and then, when the day comes to a close, earnestly propose his feelings. It's best to be straightforward with something so important, she stresses
They both proceed to go shopping for an appropriate ring together, the model giving much-appreciated advice for his choice
On the actual day of his planned proposal, something about Tsukasa would noticeably be different. He had invited you to a dinner at a fancy restaurant ( he had rented out the entire restaurant so you could have the privacy you needed for this special moment, rich people smh)
He seemed to be very nervous for some reason, his eyes uncharacteristically darting around, his shoulders trembling from time to time and blushing heavily when you two happened to directly lock eyes. It reminded you of how he acted when you first started dating
You two would have the most wonderful dinner that night, everything you could have ever wanted laid out before you. You started to wonder if you had missed some important date or something. Was it your anniversary? But no that couldn't be right, you were sure that-
Your train of thought was quickly interrupted when Tsukasa cleared his throat, drawing your attention back to him. He looked to be more nervous than you ahd ever seen him before, he was visibly shaking in his seat and concern washed over you. Smiling gently, you laid your hand on top of his from across the table as a comforting gesture
"Y/n we have been together for quite some time now and I have enjoyed every single second we have spent together. When I look at you, I can still feel my heart race as fast as the first time I laid my eyes upon you. Everything about you is radiant, you're like the sun I am forever drawn to, you make me so unbelievably happy. That is why... "
Then he stands up from his seat and walks right next to your form, his every step shaky as of he could fall over at any moment. Looking at you with a loving gaze, Tsukasa slowly lowers himself down on one knee, his right hand placed over where his heart would be.
You eyes widened as you realized what was happening, tears threatening to roll as he used his other hand to retrieve a small box from his pocket.
Opening it with a shaky breath, a sparkling beautiful diamond ring greets you as Tsukasa continues
"Y/n, I love you more than anything else and I vow to protect you for the rest of your life as you ever-loyal knight if you would have me. What I'm asking is... will you marry me?"
He looks at you with such hopeful eyes and you basically lunge at him and wrap your arms around him, full-on crying now
"Yes, yes! Of course I want to marry you! Tsukasa I love you with my entire heart !"
At your acceptance immense relief would settle within him, overjoyed and still unbelieving that you two were truly engaged now. It felt like a dream come true
He felt like the happiest man alive that day
a/n: this is... so long. i have no self control lmao but i hope you like this! i hope it was what you were thinking of when you requested, but if it wasn’t just send in another fire lady reader request bc i would love to continue this!
fire lady, prequel fire lady, part one fire lady, part two
“Are you excited to see everyone?” You asked your daughter softly as you brushed her hair. She stood in front of you in the vanity chair, watching you in the mirror. Her grin matched your own, but her eyes were all Zuko.
“Yes!” Izumi cheered, little arms raising in the air. “When they get here, will you sit by the Turtle Duck pond with us?” She asked sweetly.
“Of course, my love,” you hummed, hands gathering the top part of her black hair in a topknot. “Should we go ahead and place an order for some fruit tarts? Bumi and Kya go nuts for them every time they’re here,” you chuckled.
She giggled at that, and hummed to herself as you finished securing the crown in her hair. “Alright, Princess, I think you’re good to go,” you stated, patting her on the bottom once while giving her room to jump down.
“Woohoo!” She yelled and hit the ground running, out of the room and racing down the corridor. You followed her, much slower, and asked a passing servant to send a large order of the Fire Nation desserts down to the kitchens. You were excited to see your friends, it had been awhile since you’d all found time to see one another, and you especially missed your nieces and nephews. You never knew your heart could be so scattered across a group of children, but here you were.
Upon entering the courtyard, you were greeted with the sweet sight of your husband reaching up to help little Kya down from Appa’s saddle while your daughter had her arms locked around Bumi in a tight embrace.
Aang and Katara slid off together and you made your way to them. “Long time, no see,” you greeted, and engulfed Katara in such a way that you’d been told not to do in the past. Your personality clashed with the Royal council, but the people of your nation loved you.
“Hey, (y/n).” Katara whispered in your ear as she rocked you slightly.
“Sweetie, let the rest of us see her,” Aang joked lightly, and you backed away only to be pulled into another hug, the airbender wrapping his arms around your shoulders.
“Hey, Aangy, how’ve you been?”
Bumi laughed from beside you and you when you looked at him he darted towards you. He collided with your midsection, arms wrapping around your waist. “Awe, Bumi, I missed you so much!” You ruffled his already wild hair.
“Aunt (y/n), can you take us for a ride on Uncle Zuko’s dragon?” He asked, looking up at you with wide eyes, full of adventure.
“Perhaps another day,” Zuko answered, coming up to join your little group with Izumi in one arm and Kya in the other.
“Hi, sweetheart,” you whispered to the Water Tribe girl, and she giggled as you placed a kiss on her cheek.
“(y/n), come meet my kid!” Toph shouted from a few feet away, and your heart skipped a beat. There was a pep in your step as you made your way over to her and Sokka, who held little Tenzin in one arm. And in the earthbenders arms was a little girl with green eyes and dark hair, and your heart was spread a little further. She already had a piece and she hadn’t even acknowledged you yet.
“Oh my goodness, and who is this?” You asked, reaching forward to wrap your arm around Toph’s shoulder, and she moved her daughter around in order to return the gesture.
“This is Lin,” you old friend answered and thrust the young girl towards you. Lin’s eyes widened and she stared at you in wonder as she sat in your arms.
“Hello, Lin, my name is (y/n),” you smiled at her and she eventually returned it. You could see Toph written all over this girl, and it warmed your heart tremendously. “Have you ever seen a Turtle Duck?” You asked animatedly, and reached your other arm out to take Tenzin, and make your way towards everyone else.
“Well, do I have a treat for you,” you continued when Lin didn’t answer.
“Is it fruit tarts?!” Kya shouted, jumping in place.
Izumi joined in as she answered with her own shout. “Yes! They’re in the garden waiting for us in the garden!”
Bumi gasped and looked to his mother and father before returning his gaze to you. “Can we go, Aunt (y/n)? Please?”
“Yeah, please,” Tenzin echoed sweetly and you rubbed your cheek against the top of his little bald head.
“You took the plans right out of my head, Bumi! How do you always do that?” You shook your head and didn’t miss the proud look that overcame the young boy’s face.
“Alright, misfits,” you addressed loudly. “To the gardens, for fruit tarts and Turtle Ducks!” And began your march through the palace, three children trotting behind you, and the semi-domesticated Fire Ferret you insisted on letting wander the palace freely, followed not too far behind.
“What’s that?” Lin spoke for the first time since meeting you, the words jumbling together. You glanced at her, and noticed her pointing over your shoulder. When your eyes landed on the small red animal, you grinned.
“That’s my friend, he lives here with us; though Izumi and I seem to be the only people who like him.” You chuckled, and continued your trek to the outside gardens, it wasn’t too much farther.
“Hey! Daddy doesn’t mind him,” Izumi called, pausing to let the Fire Ferret jump onto her shoulders. She’d heard her father repeat those words a hundred times, whenever the creature would find his way inside and he was forced to stop anyone that attempted to shoo him away.
“That’s right,” you agreed, breaking through the threshold where the corridor opened to the outside, the sound of the fountain filling the space and the smell of flowers floating through the air. Just as you stepped out, a servant was placing multiple trays of fruit tarts on the table that was set up for this specific reason.
“We made it just in time!” Izumi shouted and grabbed Kya by the wrist and pulled her forward.
“Thank you,” you bowed your head slightly to the woman who brought you the treats, and she smiled at you. She lowered her body in respect before hastily retreating from the garden, and your heart sunk just a bit at her speedy exit.
“Why’d that lady leave so fast?” Bumi asked as he reached for a fruit tart.
“A lot of the people who work in the palace are still a little scared that Uncle Zuko and I will be like the Royals before us,” you answered honestly and you sat on the bench, Lin and Tenzin situating themselves on your lap. “But we try to let them know by showing them that those times are over, because why?”
“Actions speak louder than words!” Your daughter answered with a mouthful, and you chuckled at her. That was a lesson that you worked hard to instill in her.
“That’s right, Princess,” you nodded as the little monk in your lap handed you one of the desserts. Your heart felt full, sitting in the most magical place you knew of, surrounded by all the children you were so blessed to know and love. You were even more blessed that they loved you; every time ‘Aunt (y/n)’ left one of their mouths it felt like music to your ears. They reminded you so greatly of yourself and the Gaang, and you would do anything for them.
Young! Kyalin HC
Lin is such a disaster bi while Kya is a super functional lesbian
and they're the SOFTEST couple alive
they started their relationship when Lin was 18 and Kya 22, but they never told anyone until 6 months later
at the beginning Kya is always making jokes about how Lin hadn't come out of the closet but she once finds her crying because she wants but she's scared come out so Kya decide stop making fun of her and help her
they had to told Izumi after 6 months (she caught them making out) and she was almost crying because she loved her girls so much, she was so happy for them and of course she accepted keep it in secret
every time they used to go to vacations all together Izumi convinced Su to sleep in the same room as her so Kya and Lin could sleep together
Lin had social anxiety so every time she and Kya went to places with a lot of people and the anxiety came Lin used to put her hand between Kya's shoulder blades as a way of telling her to get her out of there
The Beifongs weren't royalty but they were a super impotant family for the earth kingdom so the first time they were saw in public together, the people couldn't stop talking and judging abour the relationship of the daughter of Toph Beifong and the daughter of Master Katara and Avatar Aang
to be with Lin, Kya had to pass through the approval of: Toph, Su, Poppy, Lao and the badgemorles that teach Toph how to earthbend (and had to be threaten at least 3 times)
Lin never told Toph but makes sure that she knows, so after Toph finds out her daughter and Sugar Princess had been dating for over a year, she interrogates Lin and ask why she didn't tell her Lin says to her that she was scared of that Toph could change the way she saw her. That conversation ends with Lin softly crying and Toph hugging her (and planning how it's gonna be her conversation w/ Kya)
Su loved Kya and Lin being together but she makes Kya know that she wasn't gonna forgive her if she hurt Lin and every time Kya needs help with things like gifts, apologies or things like that she go to Su
Lin asked Kya to go to Gaoling so she could meet her grandparents and Kya was super scared but she accepted because she knew that was important for Lin
they both accepted their relationship, Poppy love Kya immediately but for Lao it took longer and not because they were both girls, he just normally didn't not trust a lot in Lin's partners and the situation didn't change even if she was the daughter of the Avatar, he had a special bond w/ Lin and since because his granddaughter grew up without a father, he had a big need of protect her from anything
then he once saw them cuddling in a an hammock under a tree with Lin sleeping and Kya reading a book while she kisses her girlfriend's forehead that's when he decide to accept their relationship and realizes that his little Linny was going to be fine (Although that didn't stop him from threatening Kya to do something to her if she hurt Lin)
at the point were all the Lin's family knows they're together Kya learns that she has to be scared of the Beifongs
when Kya told Aang that she was with Lin he was not surprisingly super happy and he went to tell Katara immediately so Kya makes sure her mom already knew
every time Lin goes to pick up Kya to Air Temple Island Katara tells her that the police are looking for her
after Sokka finds out he travel form the South Pole to Republic city where he go to pick up Toph and takes her to Air Temple Island juts to go with Aang and celebrate that finally they're family
Katara, Aang, Zuko and Sokka are secretly planning the wedding
also are Izumi, Bumi ans Su
after Su's fight, the self-esteem issues arrived and she didn't let Kya go to see her for a week because she thought that if Kya saw the scar she was going to leave her
Lin is an artist and she like to draw her girl especially when she's naked or sleeping, not because she wants to practice or anything it's just because she loves her
Kya makes her know that she's not gonna leave her but then she has to find a way to show her that she still loves her
Kya had to wait 5 months to Lin let her touch the scar, but after she lets her Kya takes every opportunity she has to kiss them
somehow they became aunts of Izumi's kids
naturally Kya sleeps naked but Lin doesn't but once in a while she sleeps shirtless just because Kya likes her body especially her abs and chest
Lin asked Katara permission to marry Kya but she asked Sokka to help her with the betrothal necklace
rotations. bonus! azula returns
HI THIS ONE HAS BEEN IN MY HEAD FOR A WHILE PLS ENJOY
(Y/N) was happy in her life. Being married to Zuko was better than she could have ever imagined. His stoic expression as Fire Lord faded away as soon as they were in private. She saw her friends as often as their schedules would allow, and enjoyed sitting at Zuko’s side in the throne room. But sometimes, she felt trapped within the palace walls. When she was young, she traveled the world. Now, the only time she traveled was for diplomatic affairs. She loved her life, but sometimes she longed for a new adventure. These were leftover feelings from her teenage life, it was obvious. She was an adult now, with adult responsibilities.
“Mommy?” A tiny voice called out.
Responsibilities like the baby girl at the edge of her bed. It was early in the morning, around the time that she would normally wake up. (Y/N) slid out from underneath Zuko’s arms to look at her daughter. The three year old clutched a stuffed platybus bear that Iroh had given her for her last birthday. (Y/N) smiled at her little girl. “Hi, little blossom,” She whispered as she picked up Izumi and placed her in the bed between her and Zuko. She made herself comfortable in the plush sheets as she stared up at her mother. “How did you sleep?”
“Good,” Izumi played with the bill of her platybus bear. “Daddy?”
Zuko turned over and wrapped his arm around his child. She giggled as he peppered her face with kisses. “Good morning, Princess,” He said with a smile. His voice was husky from sleep, his eyes barely able to open in the morning light. (Y/N) leaned over to press a kiss to his cheek.
“What’s your plan today?” Zuko asked as Izumi cuddled himself into his arms. (Y/N) shrugged.
“I was thinking about maybe going on a picnic?” She looked at Zuko hopefully, but his sad expression made her pout.
“I’ve got back to back meetings today. And tomorrow.”
“And the day after that and for the rest of time,” (Y/N) said with a playful roll of her eyes. “I’d really like to get out of the palace for the day. Izumi, would you like to go on a picnic with Mommy?”
“Icknick!” The little girl cheered, a bright smile on her features.
“Where will you go?” Zuko asked.
“I think I’ll take her to the hot springs behind the palace. It’s really beautiful this time of year.”
Zuko exhaled. He grabbed (Y/N’s) hands and began playing with her fingers. “I wish I could go with you. Can I send some guards with you?” (Y/N) scoffed.
“I’m pretty sure I can protect myself.”
“Mommy firebend,” Izumi said to her father matter-of-factly. Zuko chuckled.
“Mommy does it best,” Zuko agreed. (Y/N) smiled and took her daughter into her arms, sliding out of bed.
“We’ll be back before dinner time,” She assured her husband as she kissed him. She left the room to get Izumi dressed. “Don’t go starting any wars,” She called to her husband from the hallway.
“Very funny!”
---
The hot springs were in a wooded area behind the palace, accessed only by a cobblestone path leading from the turtle duck pond. (Y/N) and Izumi walked together, both with a hand on the handle of the picnic basket. Izumi’s platybus bear toy dragged behind her on the ground.
The hot spring steamed and bubbled in a stone pond. (Y/N) had grown up visiting it occasionally. She, Zuko, and Azula would take turns seeing who could last longest in the boiling water. Firebenders could withstand some of the highest heats, but Azula always won out in the end.
(Y/N) shook her head to make the thought go away. It was hard, sometimes, to be in the palace. Memories popped back up without warning. And despite everything that had happened, sometimes she found herself missing her. She shoved it down as far as she could, but it still crawled up inside of her at the moments she least expected it. Like today.
So she focused her attention on Izumi. She unfurled the picnic blanket and set the food the servants had prepared for them. Izumi ate sandwiches in the shapes of stars and moons. It was something the servants liked to do for her. She was the sweetest child the palace had seen in years.
(Y/N) ate her sandwich and moved onto dessert: fruit tarts. She gave Izumi a tiny piece. “Did you know that these are how Daddy and I met?”
Izumi took the piece between two fingers curiously. “Fuit dart,” She whispered to herself. (Y/N) smiled.
“Yeah, fuit dart.” She gave her daughter a kiss on the forehead.
Once they had finished eating, (Y/N) let Izumi run around while she basked in the sunlight. Like most firebenders, it revitalized her. It made her feel new again. She closed her eyes and tilted her face up to feel its warmth.
“Swim!” Her eyes opened again to see Izumi standing at the edge of the hot spring. (Y/N) shook her head.
“No, Izumi, we aren’t swimming today.”
“Swim!” Izumi said again, stamping her foot on the ground.
“I said no, Izumi.” The little girl began to cry. (Y/N) stood immediately and took her daughter into her arms, shushing her to calm her. She bounced around on her feet to soothe her.
“Poor girl. She’s a princess, she should do what she wants.”
(Y/N) felt her blood run cold. She clutched Izumi tightly and it was as if the little girl sensed her mother’s fear, because her cries fell into small shakes of her body as she recovered. (Y/N) turned around and found the last person she wanted to see at that moment.
“Azula.” She set her jaw. She felt anger swell inside of her. Azula stared at her smugly. They hadn’t seen each other since she and Zuko had left ot find their mother. Azula had escaped from him and spent years on the run. (Y/N) had heard rumors of Azula gathering subjects for her cause, but what that cause was, she had no idea.
“I see you’re not without any guards. Very irresponsible of Zuzu, don’t you think?”
“I can handle myself. Or did you forget about our Agni Kai?”
She watched Azula’s eye twitch, ever so slightly. “A stroke of luck on your part. I’d be happy to go again. Or perhaps little Izumi would like to try her hand at firebending?”
(Y/N) held her daughter closer to her. “I’m only teasing. I know she can’t firebend.”
“What are you doing here, Azula?”
“It’s been too long since we’ve seen each other, wouldn’t you agree?”
(Y/N) had to admit that she was scared. She was here, alone, with her daughter and Azula. Even if she fought Azula, Izumi was too small to know that she should stay out of the way of the flames. (Y/N) thought she had been angry when Azula hurt Zuko, but if she hurt Izumi...
Azula sighed and rolled her eyes. “I’m here because I wanted to see her. It hurts, not being invited to the wedding, but it hurt more not being told I had a niece.”
(Y/N) furrowed her brows. “You wanted to see her?”
“Yes, (Y/N), is that so hard to believe?”
“It is, Azula, considering our history.” Azula scoffed, flicking her hair over her shoulder.
“I’ve never lied to you.”
“You’re lying right now!”
Azula sighed, reaching into her pocket. She pulled out the crown worn by the crown princess of the Fire Nation. She extended her arm out to (Y/N) in offering. “I brought this for her.”
Cautiously, (Y/N) crept forward to take the crown from Azula’s hand. She put it in the pocket of her robes. She wasn’t sure if Azula was above lacing things with poison.
“Motherhood has made you overly cautious.”
“No, I think it was my childhood friends trying to kill me.”
“You forgave Zuko. Why can’t you forgive me?”
(Y/N) opened her mouth to speak, but she couldn’t. She found herself at a loss for words. How could she explain to Azula that the things she had done were unforgivable.
“You tried to kill me, Azula. You tried to kill the people I love.”
“And why wasn’t I one of those people, hm?” Azula snapped. “Every single day you chose someone else over me. First it was Zuko. Then it was the Avatar and his friends.”
“I never chose anyone over you, Azula. You chose the Fire Nation.”
“And you betrayed me!” Azula’s eyes danced with anger. (Y/N) swallowed the lump in her throat. Izumi held on tightly to her mother’s robes.
“I didn’t betray you, Azula. I never wanted to leave you. Your father forced my family to leave. And then I saw the horrible things our nation was doing to people. Everything we had ever believed was a lie.”
Azula’s eyes brimmed with tears. She wasn’t sure how to feel. She had seen (Y/N) and Izumi alone and her first instinct was to talk to them. She hadn’t planned this far ahead.
“I never wanted to leave you,” (Y/N) said again. “But you did some horrible things.”
“You think I’m a monster, just like everyone else.” (Y/N) shook her head.
“I don’t think you’re a monster. I think you were confused and had no one to be there for you. You are one of the people I love, Azula. You’re just lost.”
“Don’t throw that word around like that?” (Y/N) stared at her in confusion. “Love. You don’t love me, (Y/N), I love you.”
“Azula--”
“I love you! I’ve loved you since we were children and you never saw it, you never realized. You were too focused on Zuko to even give me the time of day.”
(Y/N) looked at the ground. “I never knew.” She said quietly.
“I know. So believe me when I say that the only reason I am here is for Izumi. I just wanted to see her.”
(Y/N) looked back up to see Azula’s face. She was an excellent liar, but (Y/N’s) heart told her that she was telling the truth. About everything. So she took a step forward until they were arm’s length away.
“Izumi,” She said to her daughter. “This is Aunt Azula. Can you say Azula?”
Izumi stared shyly at her aunt. “Zula,” She said quietly. (Y/N) watched as Azula broke into a genuine smile, her eyes watering.
“Hello, little princess.” Hesitantly, she reached out to touch Izumi. Her small palm wrapped against Azula’s finger.
“Zula,” Izumi said again, quite seriously.
(Y/N) looked at the sky to see the sun was beginning to set. She turned back to Azula. “Zuko will be expecting us soon.”
“Don’t tell him,” Azula stared into (Y/N’s) eyes.
“I won’t. I promise.”
---
(Y/N) and Izumi returned to the palace a little before dinner. They found Zuko in the throne room, his presence full of advisors. He dismissed them as soon as he saw his wife and daughter.
Izumi giggled as she ran up to her father. She jumped into his arms and he lifted her high above her head. “How was your picnic?”
“Very good,” (Y/N) said, the smile on her lips tight. Zuko stared at her for a moment, but decided to let it go. Perhaps Izumi had been difficult today.
“Zula!” Izumi said happily. (Y/N’s) stomach dropped. “Zula! Zula!”
“What’s she saying?”
Courage My Love// Semi Eita
Pairing: Semi Eita x Reader
Summary: You like Semi and come up with a plan to confess to him, unfortunately it takes a turn. You meet again a couple years later by chance.
Chapter Six: Shape Up
Series Masterlist•<previous•next>
“Alrighty, your food will be ready shorty,” the waitress spoke before leaving with the booklets and you all thanked her.
Semi and you still haven’t had a real conversation since sitting down at the table together, just mumbling some words to get through the night which Taka took notice of. “Are you two nervous or something? It’s alright, I’m not scary and you guys don’t look scary. Enjoy yourselves please, besides this is all our treat to you guys.” Feeling guilty for your behavior you immediately apologized to Taka and his band mates and thanked them again for the invitation. Semi did the same as well. You’re both just gonna have to fake it. “It’s okay! We’re going to be spending a lot of time together so I think it’d be cool if we could get to know each other, where are you from? I’m from Tokyo.”
“Miyagi,” you and Semi answered at the same time.
“Oh! Have you guys met before or anything?”
“We went to the same high school,” Semi answered causing you to internally face palm.
“That’s crazy! Were you two friends?”
“We were. Then we lost touch when we graduated. You know, busy busy,” you spoke up before Semi could. The last thing you want was someone you look up to questioning your past drama. Just seeing Semi was enough to remind you of how things went down all those years ago.
“Yeah, this is actually our first time seeing each other since then.”
“Wow, now I’m the odd man out,” Taka laughed to which you did too. While laughing you felt something poke your side.
Semi was sneakily trying to hand you his phone. Semi started branching off to a different conversation with Taka to distract him which you know he did so you could look at his phone without suspicion since everyone else was having their own conversations. You took a quick glance at the text message he typed to someone but didn’t send.
“Can we talk after this?”
You glided your eyes back onto the two singers, focusing more on the ash blonde. You two haven’t spoken in six years, what could he have to say, you asked yourself. Starting to think out every logical scenario you could, you thought that he just wanted to get the confrontation out of the way so you could both do this tour without any issues. Whatever happens, you know that even if you say no, you’d have to talk to him eventually. Might as well get it over with sooner than later so you typed your response.
“Yeah seriously thank you so much for listening to my band too. I’m so glad you like us. I’m actually a big fan of your music,” you spoke, jumping into the conversation so you could pass Semi his phone back with ease under the table.
“Thank you. I really liked your voices and wanted you guys to join me for the last song on our set list. It’s one of the new songs off the latest album,” Taka explained.
“Which song is it?” You asked excitedly.
“Take What You Want. We made the song with 5 Seconds of Summer but I think you guys would sound really good doing their parts.”
“I’m so down!”
“Sounds good to me,” Semi added, amused by your enthusiasm.
“Here’s your food,” the waitress spoke as she set down your plates with the help of another waiter. You all thanked them for the food before enjoying your meals.
The rest of the dinner was actually quite enjoyable. From what you could tell, Haruka and Jiro were mostly catching up with each other, which you understood since they were close their final year of high school. Tomo and Toru of One Ok Rock seemed to enjoy the stories Izumi was telling them while Ryota and Yui were having fun helping Ranmaru and Subaru practice their English. You loved talking with Taka. He was really easy to get along with and made it much easier to break the ice with Semi. You all finished your meals and left the restaurant together.
“That was the best meal I’ve had in forever!” Izumi announced when everybody was outside.
“Right? I cant way to try more food!” Jiro added on.
“What do you say guys?” You and Semi said simultaneously, crossing your arms and turning from each other.
“Thank you,” Your band members said all together.
“It’s nothing really,” Toru started.
“Yeah, we’re glad we got to meet like this,” Tomo added.
“We had a lot of fun tonight. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the tour will be like,” Ryota continued.
“You’re still very welcome. We’ll see you all tomorrow at the venue. Eita, Y/n, don’t forget, two in the afternoon for rehearsal. We’re heading back to our bus so good night,” Taka finished. The guys in One Ok Rock all waved you guys goodbye before heading off.
“They were really nice,” Subaru spoke.
“Yeah, this’ll be so exciting. It’s your guys first time in the US right?” Yui asked Won’t Regret.
“Yeah, thanks again for helping us practice,” Ranmaru said.
“No worries. You can ask us for help if needed.”
“Do you guys want us to walk you to your bus? It’s dark out,” Jiro offered, looking at Haruka for a response.
She smiled at him before responding, “Jiro you’re funny, our buses are in the same lot. We might as well just walk in a group.”
“Girls, you can head off. I’m gonna talk with Semi so I’ll catch up later.”
Yui was the first one to give you a worried look, wondering if you were fine being alone with him. Izumi and Haruka looked confused and curious. From what they knew, you haven’t been in contact with Semi since high school. Tendou was the one that mostly helped you through grieving the loss of your best friend but they could recognize the look of nostalgia in your eyes when you reminisced on old memories with him. They know you were strong, but it was a pain that never completely went away.
“How long?” Izumi asked.
“It might be a while,” Semi answered. “I’ll walk her back straight to your bus, don’t worry.”
The girls reluctantly let left you with Semi while the rest of boys accompanied them. As the groups walked away they would occasionally turn their heads back to the two of you out of curiosity to see what was going to happen. You were known for having a laid back attitude but stepping up and becoming assertive if need be in less than a second. Semi was typically pretty patient with you but it’s best to be careful since he has a shorter fuse.
“Hi,” Semi started awkwardly once his everyone was out of sight.
“Hey,” you responded in the same tone.
“Wanna go sit on that bench? Also, how’ve you been?”
“Yeah, and I’ve been good. You?”
He started walking across the street after looking both ways. “I’m doing great. How’s Tendou? Congrats on your marriage, by the way.”
“Marriage?” You asked confused.
“Didn’t you and Tendou get married and have a honeymoon in France?”
You let out a laugh before responding. “Tendou and I have been broken up for like three years now dude. I’ve never gone to France with Tendou, he went for his career and now lives there. I’ve only gone if it was for touring. Where’d you get that idea from?” You asked, gradually laughing harder resulting in Semi feeling relief. Half of it being that you might be single and the other part being that the laughing is a good sign that you’re willing to humor him.
“I saw he posted pictures of himself with the Eiffel Tower and stuff so I just assumed,” he chuckled along.
“Yeah but wouldn’t it make sense if I was in those pictures with him? I probably would’ve posted a picture of my ring too.”
“You know I follow you still?”
“Yeah, I pay attention to my notifications sometimes. I’ll be honest though, I did unfollow you.”
“Understandable,” Semi sighed.
You both went quiet after that, getting comfortable on the metal bench. Taking note of his expression, you took the lead for conversation. “What was it you wanted to talk about?”
“Oh uh, I wanted to apologize,” he responded, grateful for the dim lighting so his blush wouldn’t be super noticeable.
“Well, I’m listening,” you said before crossing your arms in a playful manor.
“I’m sorry for calling you a bitch. I’m sorry for raising my voice at you. I’m sorry for saying all that petty shit and hurting you. I’m sorry for all the pain I gave you. You know that saying that’s like ‘you don’t know what you have until you lose it?’ Well I lost you, and that was my biggest regret. All these years-“
“Semi, you can stop-“ you interrupted not expecting him to go on a full on rant for an apology. You were fine with a simple ‘I’m sorry’. Never would you have expected the ash blonde to list out every thing he did wrong. It was high school, that’s when mistakes are meant to be made because you learn from them. After walking the earth for twenty four years, you couldn’t give less of a shit about the things that happened. You grew up, you were over it, you have other things to focus on than hold onto a grudge because someone hurt you.
“Let me finish. Please. All these years I never tried to reach out to you because I think you made it clear that you didn’t want to speak to me and I respect that but oh my god I’m so proud of you. You’ve accomplished so much. You’ve traveled around the world, living your dream. I know we may have ended on bad terms but I have never, not once, ever wished for your life to take a turn for the worst. I’m genuinely so happy for you. I’m just so, so, sor- What? Why are you crying? I’m the one apologizing!” he asked, raising his hands to wipe your tears.
While listening to him all you could think about was how guilty you felt. “Because I’m sorry,” You answered, grabbing his wrists to pull them away from your face so you could wipe your own tears. “I’m sorry for pushing you away. I’m sorry for not reaching out either. I’m sorry for almost starting a physical fight with you.” You were letting all your frustrations out at this point from all the emotions you had built up inside you. While you had to admit you were upset with him, you were the one that started it. “I shouldn’t have said what I said the night of the talent show. I should’ve told you the truth. I started this. I’m the one at fault.”
“Y/n...” Semi wrapped his arms around your back, using one hand to guide your face into his chest to help you calm down. “It’s okay. You’re okay.” His voice was soft, different compared to the way he was speaking before. His task at hand was just to focus on you. “I missed you,” he spoke.
“I hmff ugh oo,” you responded, head still buried in his chest.
“What?”
You pulled away from him and straightened your back. “I said I missed you too.” You took a couple seconds to look at him. He looked almost exactly the same as he did back then. The only differences you could tell were that his hair was longer and he looked more mature, maybe a little buffer. It was somewhat comforting. “I don’t get it. I told myself I should hate you after all that happened but I could never bring myself to accept it. It’s weird that we’re talking with little difficulty right now to each other.”
“Little difficulty? I’m not gonna lie, my heart is beating so fast right now. I was so nervous to even hand you my phone at the table,” Semi laughed, eyes not looking away from your form laughing into your hand. “I don’t get it either though. I honestly thought you were gonna hate me and yell at me like, do you really forgive me?”
“How do I say this?” You asked yourself before taking a deep breath to answer his question. “After graduating and experiencing the real world, I realized I don’t need to focus on high school bullshit. We were so young-“
“Now you’re making me feel old.”
“Shut up! We were just teens. Now we’re adults, ya know? With bills to pay and actual responsibility. I’d rather focus on me, myself now than what happened in high school. Am I gonna forget it? No, it helped build the person I am now. Can I forgive? I may be a petty bitch and say I don’t wanna but what’s that gonna do for me? Nothing so I might as well.” After giving your long explanation you looked at him again and took in his features, old happy memories flooding back to you.
“Do you think we start over?” Semi asked hopefully.
“Yeah.”
“Hey, I’m Semi Eita. I play in a band and I’m a bit of an asshole sometimes. What’s your name?”
“I’m L/n Y/n and I also play in a band and can sometimes be a bitch,” you responded with a laugh.
“It’s nice to meet you. Can I walk you to where you need to be?” he asked, getting up and putting his hand out to help you up.
“Sure, that’d be really nice.”
After he helped you up, you started walking towards your bus with Semi walking right next to you. “Hey I’m actually playing a show tomorrow night, you should check us out!”
“No way, what time?” You asked deciding to play along.
“Like seven but you know how it goes, it’ll probably be more like seven-fifteen.”
“Ugh that’s annoying. Can you come to mine? I think I play at like eight.”
“Sure, dude. Anything for my bestie.”
“Aight I’m done. Bestie is too far, dude.”
“What! I can’t call you my bestie even though we just reunited six years after not seeing each other?”
“Correct. We can be ‘friends’,” you said, using your fingers to put air quotes, “but honestly I’m still on edge. Like after we went our separate ways it was hard for me to reconnect with people because it hurt when we ended things. I don’t wanna go through that again.”
Semi sighed, “I get that. Sorry again. I promise I won’t do that again.”
“It’s okay. And you better. Or else we’re really throwing hands,” you teased.
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah!”
“Don’t make me go all WWE on you!”
“Oh my god Semi, is that a threat?”
“Y/n!” Izumi yelled which made you focus on your tour bus. The girls had each opened a window to stick their head out of and wait for your arrival.
“Are you okay?” Haruka asked.
“Do you want back up?” Yui followed up.
“I’m joking, Yui,” Semi said, putting his hands up in defense.
“You better, or else I’m gonna be the one fighting for y/n,” Haruka warned with a glare.
“I guess this is goodnight, Semi. You don’t want to throw hands with Haruka, she’s pretty buff. Thanks again. See you around,” you said as you waved him goodbye and hopped on the bus.
“See ya,” Semi responded. He turned around and threw his head upwards to the night sky and let out a sigh before walking to his bus.
Yui with her head still out of the window took notice of how Semi relaxed after you left him. “Hey, girly,” she started, getting up from her spot after closing the window. “You okay? How’d it go?”
“Yeah, I’m okay. It actually went surprisingly well.”
“That’s good news!” Izumi cheered.
“So are you friends again?” Haruka asked.
“Hmm, I guess so? We’re basically just starting over.”
“This tour is gonna be interesting,” Yui finished.
Getting back onto his bus, Semi immediately felt three pairs of eyes glued on him. Jiro set his Nintendo switch down while Subaru put his phone on his lap and Ranmaru stood up.
“We’ve been expecting you,” Ranmaru started with a straight face.
“Yeah!” Jiro added only to be shushed by Subaru.
“Well... good news?” Semi responded, not knowing what to make of the way his band mates were acting.
“Go on...” Subaru said, this time being shushed by Jiro.
“First, I’m gonna be a guest vocal for One Ok Rock with Y/n during their last song. Second, I told Y/n everything I needed to say. We’re friends again. We’re all good,” Semi said with a smile.
Ranmaru took a few steps closer to Semi before lovingly slapping his back. “Proud of you, bro.”
“Woooo! Go Eita!” Jiro jumped up to hype up his bandmate.
“Awesome!” Subaru finished. “Happy for you man. Now, I hate to be the mom here, but we should get to bed. Tomorrow’s gonna be a long day.”
“Good job guys!” Taka said, patting both of your backs.
“Thank you! Is there anything you want us to change?” You asked.
“Hmm, nah. I know most people say practice makes perfect but I think as the tour goes on we’ll improve the performance each night.”
“Sounds good,” Semi said.
“Can I give some feedback?” You asked. Taka and Semi both gave you a nod to go on. “You,” you pointed to Semi, are being so stiff. It’s your first tour in the US. Loosen up! I’ll be blunt, if how to act now is how you’re gonna act during your set, which is the first one, you’re not gonna grab anyone’s attention. The majority of the crowd probably haven’t even heard of your band. You gotta draw them in.”
“I have to agree with her,” Taka joined in.
Semi grew wide eyed and turned a little red. You were about to speak up again but he beat you to it. “Sorry, I think I’m just nervous. This is all new to me,” he said, bringing a hand up to the back of his head.
“Sorry! I didn’t mean to sound harsh! I just want you guys to grow. Being on tour right now is a big honor so I want you to get the most you can out of it. And-“
And you were rambling. Same old Y/n, Semi thought to himself, letting you ramble while he had a small smirk on his face, amused by the words you were speaking.
“Just perform how you would back then! I think if you brought that energy you’d really get a lot of people hooked!”
“Ya think so?”
“I know so. Can we try again but exaggerate our movements? This dude has to shape up.”
“I’ve heard so many stories about you mentoring the smaller bands, it’s nice to see that you live up to them,” Taka smiled.
“Thank you,” you responded with a blush. “Now Semi, follow our lead. And don’t let us down tonight.”
