The summary is that she’s a shit tier person who’s dating another shit tier person and they abuse each other until she threatens to kill herself, which she has done for basically the last 10 years if anybody tells her no about anything at all and if she doesn’t get her way. It’s always just a threat and she uses it to get attention and manipulate everyone around her - and I would NOT say this lightly. She is legitimately a sick and horrible person who has mistreated and abused me and my mother to the point of our own mental health reaching a very seriously bad state. I do believe she has some sort of mental illness which could be influencing her actions but my god she refuses to get any help and nothing we do or offer her is ever good enough. When she was a teenager a psychiatrist diagnosed her as a narcissist?? But nothing ever came of that and she never got treatment. (Auto-disclaimer that people with NPD are not automatically abusers, but my sister absolutely is one lol). She is also a compulsive liar and has made up outlandish lies since she was a literal toddler (another thing the psych pinpointed immediately, but again nothing was ever done about it since she outright refuses treatment unless she can abuse or sell prescription drugs.) Back then it wasn’t as big of an issue. But now I see it as a red flag.

Today at 6am I woke up to a call from my mom and learned that my sister had finally been arrested for “domestic violence”. According to her, and this may not be the full story, her boyfriend accused her of cheating (again) (she is a cheater but to my knowledge has not cheated on Him specifically). They fought. She threw an empty soda can at him?? And then he called the police who apparently drug her out and arrested her. They said she was resisting arrest, she says she wasn’t. Acab per usual but my sister is the type to actually fight the cops when she’s in this mental state.

She did in fact threaten to “come back and slit (the cops’) throats”, they asked if she knows that threatening an officer is a felony, and she said “well then I threaten you with everything EXCEPT that,” which is a normal thing to say… and then they put her in a straight jacket bc she was acting out and threatening everyone. Lol.

My mom went to bail her out, $1,300 later my sister was screaming bloody murder in the car, yelling FUCK YOU in my mom’s face over and over, and got even more angry when my mom would not drive her to her bf’s house “to kill him”. Somehow she has decided that all of this was our mother’s fault? Bc she cannot ever be wrong ever and flips out when she doesn’t get her way. She is 24 years old.

They came home, I heard her scream outside, she came in screaming the same typical fuck you’s and all at my mom, I was honestly trying not to laugh bc I’m so desensitized to it by now and everything she says is ridiculous. Then she stormed out and started walking barefoot down the road claiming to be going to her bf’s house. Refused to get in my dad’s car when he found her. Then she stopped at the lake, texted a picture to her bf, told him essentially “it’s ok, you’re setting me free.” The picture was of his shoes by the lake; her intention being that she thought it was perfectly horrible to leave his stuff in the place where she “planned” to kill herself. Specifically to manipulate him and scare him. Bc guess what! She didn’t do anything. She just wanted him to think of having to go to the place where she “died” to retrieve his shoes and feel like everything is all his fault. Again… she didn’t do anything and it was all a threat to guilt trip him.

Bf called the cops AGAIN not even 12 hours into her bail djdgjd but this time the cops did nothing. She is now as okay as she can be I guess, and… we’ll just have to weather the aftermath storm bc she takes a long ass time to stop treating all of us like shit. NEEDLESS TO SAY, if they don’t fuckin break up after this they’re both lost causes and they can drive each other crazy for all I care.

We are all exhausted and stressed and I put up my own birthday decorations… but I do have a lemon cake. So that’s nice.

Living in Detroit for 2 years has really been so hurtful to see that there are so many areas like this here, and our own peers will sell us out in a heartbeat. America is legitimately in full denial mode over how deep poverty has struck across the country. 

My apartment window points at a side street that no one told me was a common body dumping area and I’ve seen 4 bodies removed. I’ve *SEEN* 4 bodies removed - I do not live staring out that window. How many did I miss!? There is a murder in my area of the city literally daily, usually multiple, and my god “my area” is only like a 2-3 mile section. 

I live directly next to the Boys and Girls Club and I was the one who called the cops because I could see teens selling crack out the side door of the gym. (I refused to identify which teens bc you see, the cops will just fucking arrest those kids on full charges immediately without caring what that does to their whole life and without trying to get them help, so I just complained until they weren’t allowed to open that door).

I don’t have a car, and half of the people I pass on the street walking need immediate mental health assistance and it is blatantly obvious. No one is coming for them. There is no one to call. A car crash happened at the corner of my street last summer - my apartment neighbor is an EMT and went out to help, but she was a young girl alone so FOR NO REASON WHATSOEVER the crowd that had started beat her ass instead of letting her help the victim. Then she had to stay inside for a long time because people got mad that their men went to jail for beating her...

The water very much still has lead in it but we aren’t supposed to talk about it any more apparently, and sometimes it has stuff in it. If we cook with it we get ill. Most of the apartment buildings are filled with mold. I am SO GRATEFUL that mine is only a few floors high. There is “luxury” apartment building in the city that has like 80 floors and the elevator broke months ago and they didn’t fix it. Screw how do you carry your groceries questions, multiple people DIED because they had emergencies and EMT’s couldn’t get to them.

When you believe that the only people living low, uncared for, dangerous, governmentally mismanaged lives are in other countries, you show a lot about yourself you don’t realize you’re showing. You think you’re helping. But if everyone you’re worried about in other countries, and all these human beings in your own countries you won’t acknowledge, are still poor, still hurt, still taken advantage of at the end of the day, you aren’t helping. If you didn’t donate time or money and all you did was complain, guess what?

disclaimer: I havent watched this show in full for like 5 months at least, probably gonna get something wrong and/or forget some more important bits. also this wasnt proof read I just word vomited

going from least to most prominent queer characters, let's start with mylene cruz!

so, from the beginning of this show she has an established romantic relationship with ezekiel (although the status of their actual relationship changes frequently throughout the show) and though this was a relationship she was hesitant to pursue, it is clear that she does have romantic feelings for him and if not for them both having growing careers in very different music genres (zeke specifically working in a genre that she repeatedly labels as bad because she thinks they're ruining records + that it isnt real music because they're using someone elses piece and rapping over it, that's not really important here tho lol) they probably wouldve had a much healthier, smooth sailing romance. that being said theres a few things that happen in the show that, while not explicitly clear, or even really good coding at that—to the point where you wont catch if you really arent looking for it (and trust me, I always look for coding, hers was just so little that it flew over my head until I saw someone else mention it)—are still cool to think about!

so, for starters, I wanna mention the toy box performance, which was performed by mylene and regina, who are best friends. that's all cool and shit, and you dont really think much about it...until you hear about the fact that the show runners purposely colored a lot of the scenes in that performance with the bi colors. like. the writers after the show ended basically said "oh yeah there was plans to make her coding more explicit, but our shit got cancelled soooo" and then dropped the fact that she was gonna be bi (or at least implies bi) in the series, which puts a new twist on a few things.

now, besides the bi coloring in the background of the toy box performance (which was mostly on scenes with her and regina, which involved a lot of uh,, lowkey lewd dancing. with each other. in very revealing outfits. wooooo), there's her music! I dont tend to read too much into this one bc, like I said before, her coding is fucking light and the writers themselves said they didnt really get to do much with it, but I think some stuff with her music is interesting. specifically how her, yolanda and regina's song set me free blew up because dizzee, resident (lowkey enby coded) bicon, got their song played in a queer club. also that the song was majorly important to dizzee and started playing literally right as he kissed a boy for the first time and realized "oh shit I like boys that's bonkers". also that the song can be taken in a gay way since literally the entire thing is about becoming your true self, fully and unapologetically, which is what both dizzee and mylene's entire character arcs are about. dizzee (and a lot of other queer people, apparently), heard this song about being set free and it resonated with them so much that they got that shit most of its popularity.

speaking of dizzee and mylene, they parallel each other a lot in the way that their arcs are about them realizing who they are, coming into themselves and no longer just letting people treat them like shit in a sense (dizzee starting to tell people essentially that they can call him weird all they want, they can make fun of how he acts, what he likes, how he dresses, etc. but he likes how he is and quite literally saying "it's okay to be an alien" as he has consistently compared himself to one throughout the show vs mylene learning that if she wants to be a disco singer she needs to put her foot down, not let anyone, not even the love of her life, not even her abusive father, stop her from achieving her dreams, etc. and continuing to pursue her career with or without their support). one more little parallel that I think is interesting is during I think s2 towards the end of the show is when dizzee and thor are shown together having fun with each other, painting all over the building and each other and are basically just being happy and in love together and then they have these clips of them being interspersed with clips of mylene at a party where she is starting to realize that if she wants to get anywhere she needs to be her own main priority and that she needs to put her career and her dream, which is what makes her the happiest, above all else if she wants to succeed. idk I just think how the show made these two into a weird parallel, accidental or not, is neat. maybe not an explicitly queer parallel, but I think at least how her music and whatnot helped dizzee, the main queer character in this show, blossom, is important.

moving on we got shaolin fantastic also known as "oh no your internalized homophobia is showing-"

so, heres a quick list of...interesting shao facts:

Consistently referred to as fag/faggot (shaolin fanfaggot is my personal favorite); he gets really defensive about this despite nobody actually thinking he's queer, it's just people being assholes to be assholes, and he is the only character consistently referred to using a slur, especially a homophobic one, especially for a "straight" character. dizzee, a canonically queer character, is called a fag less than shaolin is even though dizzee actively goes to gay clubs, has a not so secret dude he "hangs out with" and wont let anyone properly meet, paints his nails, wears less than straight clothes even by the 70s standards and is just all around the definition of fucking queer (and I mean like in the weird way, not the gay way). in fact theres only like once I can remember him being called a fag and it had nothing to do with him actually being gay it was literally just like thrown out there the same way you would call someone a bitch.

Has only shown sexual interest in women, yet refuses to have deeper relationships with women in general (possibly because of trauma but who knows) but takes his relationships with his "brothers", specifically zeke, very seriously

Tells zeke and zeke ONLY his real name when zeke was planning to stop being his friend bc shao more or less got boo boo, a like 14 year old black kid, arrested for selling hard drugs; he was clearly scared and trying to do anything to keep zeke around, literally chasing him down the street and hounding him until he got zeke to stop and argue with him

Kept threatening to beat up zeke in the end but couldn't actually bring himself to do so, instead saying that zeke is "fucking lucky" before walking away

Let's zeke get away with things that nobody else can, in general just has a weird soft spot for ezekiel that he shows with nobody else

when shao found dizzee with thor in a vaguely compromising situation (like they were just shirtless covered in paint sleeping next to each other but shao had also seen everything they painted on the walls ((which some of it was sus)), it was clear they had painted on each others bodies and dizzee had been routinely disappearing with this guy for weeks now yet not producing nearly as much art, at least, as far as we audience members know) he didnt judge him but instead, waited for him to get cleaned up and then told him something along the lines of "theres a reason why im so secretive blah blah blah [not everyone needs to know everything about me]", which, in context, kinda implies that he might be a lil. a lil homiesexual. jus a lil.

whenever even the possibility of zeke leaving him comes up he absolutely loses it. he has literally cost ezekiel life changing opportunities because he thought zeke would just up and leave him for them. this could be abandonment issues bc he's a severely traumatized character, and that probably does contribute to it, but it also is just not a reaction he has to any of their other friends just randomly dipping in and out of his life soooooo

generally speaking, this mfer has got either bisexual with a big hard on for zeke coding or homosexual with terrible internalized homophobia and still a hard on for zeke coding. either fucking way, that nigga gay. he gay as hell. gay as fuck man. there wasn't really much to analyze here tbh bc the coding is just so fucking obvious if you look for it or you are/have been a gay person who's dealt with at least a little bit of internalized homophobia.

also, just a sidenote, idk how fucking old shao, but I'm praying hes like at max 19 bc I'm pretty sure zeke is a minor in this show and shao definetly is not so the whole him being heavily implied to have a crush on ezekiel thing is kinda. oof. not oof if zeke is like 17 but any younger than that? OOF.

edit: apparently the characters are only supposed to be a year apart in age but i had no clue about that before writing this post and since shaos age was never actually stated in the show i naturally assumed he was an adult since his actor Looks Like An Adult. this is definetly on me to a certain extent, but i also never saw anything about this when trying to find our their ages so 🤷‍♀️ maybe i just didnt look deep enough, sorry!

now moving on to the main event...marcus dizzee kipling :]

so, first things first, let's talk enby coding bc him being bisexual was already confirmed!

um, to start off, I just wanna say I dont think this enby coding was intentional or even really coding, it's just moreso me being a dizzee kin on main and knowing as a transmasc enby he has very transmasc enby vibes. for example:

cool, gender neutral nickname that everyone calls him

paints nails various different colors

the whole wardrobe is just a transmasc enby heaven...fishnet shirts, jean overalls, jackets and cuffed pants galore, the big colorful pins, etc

gender neutral hairstyle (when I had my fro it was very sexy and made it easy to transition between hyper masc and vaguely fem, which is pog)

comparing himself to/representing himself consistently with an alien character (though this is meant to represent his sexuality, it could also double as a gender thing too, not neccesarily bc of the whole nonbinary alien trope but bc an enby who likes aliens might heavily identify or compare themselves to whatever their idea of an alien is, whether that just be a genderless entity or a motherfucker with fly style and no need to be perceived as anything other Wacky As Hell)

moving on from there, let's talk about how his queerness is presented to us and how, while it may be a really good piece of representation, especially coming from netflix, it still lacks in A Lot of places.

so, let's start with good things!

i personally really like the get down's queer rep with dizzee bc it's (for the most part) nonsexualized and very very soft, about dizzee figuring himself out and realizing there is a place where he fits in, and about two teenagers in the 70s falling in love over their shared passion for street art. it also features an interracial couple where both boys challenge stereotypes both about queer men and men of color, which is epic poggers and very sexy. this piece of rep specifically is very important to me bc I am a queer black person and even tho interracial relationships are mostly normalized now, I've still had people give me shit for primarily dating white people in a town that is...primarily white lol

mm anyways, I can also appreciate how in the get down, dizzee being represented by rumi the alien is not a thing specifically related to gender (as it often is) and instead is about his sexuality and just in general weirdness and how it has led to him being alienated amongst his peers, poc or otherwise. him seeing himself as an alien is not about just his queerness, which is important, it is about him being a queer black man who talks different, acts different, dresses different and is "soft"—he isnt a walking black male stereotype and he wouldnt have been seen as masculine back in the 70s by any stretch of the imagination. this can be relatable to a wide spectrum of queer poc, from queer black men currently who still have to deal with this shit or to people like myself who are afab neurodivergent mixed race enbies that have always been signaled out as weird and alienated for it. dizzee is god rep bc while he has a small part in this show, his parts are very impactful, hard hitting and show queer poc of all ages that they arent alone and that it's okay to "weird", you just need to embrace it because somebody will love you for you, as thor did for dizzee.

that being said theres um. some minor problemas here,,,

namely:

dizzee and thors first kiss

the lack of development this pairing got

the way dizzee was confirmed bisexual off screen, he never said the words himself, just showed interest in both genders

the way dizzee and thor were never even confirmed boyfriends or just fwb so most of the fandom just calls them boyfriends bc Why Not

dizzee was implied fucking DEAD??? AT THE END OF THE SERIES?????? AND THOR WAS IMPLIED ARRESTED?????????????

now, these might have been things that wouldve been fine had the show been given it's full run but it wasnt which is why we are now left with probelms.

so, from the top, let's go over these: dizzee and thor's first (and only "on screen") kiss was one that was shown in a montage of other queer people making over and doing other vaguely romantic/sexual things, one of those things being a whole ass naked titty being mouthed at, but the actual kiss...was just not shown? like they really did just say "yes they kissed <3 you know this from the context clues of it being in a montage with kissing, hickey giving and titty sucking <3 but no we will not show it <3" LIKE HELLO? I SAW A NAKED BOOBIE BUT NOT TWO MEN KISS??? HUH????????

also, dizzee and thor were both fucking high as hell during this bit like this isnt a terrible thing but it's also like sometimes you do shit when you're high that you wouldnt do sober and they just never kissed again on screen so like?? like idk that's not that bad but it does kinda irk me since they deadass got no other on screen intimacy after that unless you including painting on eacher other or sleeping next to each other on a shitty mattress but not touching at all during it bc they were both at opposite ends of the mattress like half way off it

so yeah, that was trash. then we got lack of development, which kinda goes with the "dizzee being a bisexual but he never says it in canon" thing cause like...okay dizzee was already sort of a side character from the get go like he wasnt the mc by any means, but he became way more of a background character as things continued until we basically only saw him for performances or when he was with thor, yet they got no fucking development as a pairing other than "dizzee realize he gay, he like thor, he and thor spend time together and ig probably do some gay stuff but we dont really know bc we only ever see them do graffiti together now" like?? tf am I supposed to do with that shit. answer. quickly. and then theres dizzee not being confirmed bisexual, which is just a running problem with shows literally doing everything to say a character is bi except for having the character just...say they're bi? which would be so easy? like a good way dizzee and thor couldve had some development is by thor teaching dizzee things about the queer community that he didnt even know existed, thor couldve helped him understand what being bi meant and helped him label himself and whatnot but instead we got an off screen confirmation that the writers had bisexual in mind when writing him. which is garbagé.

the whole thor and dizzee never having a confirmed relationship status is also a development problem cause like literally nobody knows if they were just friends who made out, maybe fucked, who knows, or if they were dating bc dizzee does give a love confession but a love confession doesn't mean there is a relationship, especially since thor didn't say he was in love either (as far as I remember, I could be wrong, plus whether or not that really happened or was apart of dizzee literally overdosing during a performance is unclear so 🤪)

and now for the biggest issue...bury your gays trope.

during the season 2 finale, dizzee and thor are chased by cops after they are found doing graffiti, one of the cops is able to catch thor while the other chases dizzee into a train tunnel and there is a train seen headed straight for him before the show cuts to black on a train horn. the show writers claim that if they had gotten another season, dizzee wouldve been alive but since they didnt and since that's essentially super fan trivia knowledge, most people dont fucking know that and instead had to watch a black queer teenager chose death over being fucking arrested by a white cop. on top of that, thor didnt see any of that shit because he was caught and the cop started hauling him off while dizzee was still being chased so thor literally has no clue where his friend/possible boyfriend fucking is or that he's likely dead in a goddamn tunnel all alone, unless you count the fucking pig that chased him in there who wouldve died too. this shows rep was so fucking good as far as most shows go on not having major fucking problems, on not being toxic and over sexualized, etc, etc. and then they just. killed a black queer teenager for no fucking reason. like it was literally the last episode ever, it would add nothing to the plot, it would just devastate fans and devastate it fucking did. I dont cry easy but seeing a character I identified with, who I had hyperfixated on, die because he'd rather that than be arrested is terrible. it fucking sucked.

so yeah. that's my all too extensive thoughts/analysis on the get down's queerness. theres definitely stuff I missed, or misinterpreted, or looked too much into, etc, etc., but this was a fun thing to spend time writing sooo yeah!! thanks for the ask anon, sorry this was just a big rambley info dump, but hopefully you get some enjoyment out of it since it took like 3 hours at least 😭😭 feel free to ask clarifying questions lol

Especially the scene where Scott and Jackson work together TO PUT PILES OF CHAIRS ON TOP OF THE DESK WHICH WILL SOMEHOW AFFORD THEM MORE PROTECTION? YOU FOOLS, I LOVE YOU. 

Sadly, Scott is shrouded in darkness in that screenshot, but if you squint you can see him on the left. Jackson’s face is priceless. 

Stiles is like guys there are a lot of windows here so your efforts to blockade the door are useless. 

Allison asks for some answers. Stiles reveals that somebody killed the janitor, which raises more questions than it answers. 

FOR NO FUCKING REASON SCOTT STARTS SAYING THAT IT’S DEREK HALE WHO IS TRYING TO ATTACK THEM AND WHO KILLED THE JANITOR??? WHAT THE EVER LOVING FUCK??? Jackson is like YOUR DAD IS THE SHERIFF, STILES, MAYBE CALL HIM???? Lydia calls the cops, but they hang up on her because they were warned there would be prank calls coming from the high school. Um. I don’t think that’s how the police work. Like they get an anon tip that says ‘hey someone is gonna call you that there’s a robbery at burger king, but you should ignore it bc it’s not true’. You wouldn’t just be like ‘oh well if this anon caller says so guess we’ll ignore any calls for help.’ THIS IS SO DUMB IM LAUGHING SO HARD?? 

If they call again...the cops will have the call traced and have Lydia arrested. Allison wisely is like that’s great, definitely call them again so they come here. Stiles says that actually they’ll find out the call is coming from Lydia’s cell...but go to her house first? 

Stiles, just call your father directly? This isn’t actually an issue? 

Anyway, everyone demands answers about Derek that Scott doesn’t have because he’s a fucking liar WHO LIES. Stiles pulls Scott aside and has the audacity to praise him for throwing Derek under the bus?? 

NOT a good day for Sterek, guys. Well, except it helps with the whole enemies to friends to lovers build up that’s so hot, so okay. I just wish this made more sense? Like I know my attention span isn’t the best, but I’ve been pretty good with Teen Wolf, and I just don’t feel like Derek has done enough to warrant this. 

Jackson interrupts Scott and Stiles’s conversation about what the hell the Alpha wants with them and how Scott’s plan to throw Derek under the bus might not have been the best plan if it turns out Derek isn’t dead. He tells Stiles to call his dad directly (Jesus. About time. Jackson, I’m into you right now.) 

Stiles doesn’t want his dad to get hurt, so he refuses to call. This holds up for me since Stiles lost his mom and it makes sense he’d be super protective of his dad. But he caves after punching Jackson, and he gets his dad’s voicemail. 

The Alpha shows up. TIME TO FLEE! Scott asks how many people can fit in Jackson’s car. 

I’m really sad because I wanted the guys to grab Derek and get into Derek’s car and for Derek to wake up like WHY ARE YOU DRIVING MY CAR?? And for Scott and Stiles’s to apologize for besmirching his not-so-good name. 

The teens decide that they need to get to the roof (why the roof?? that seems like a terrible plan?? you will just get cornered worse there??). Scott will go retrieve the key on his own from the janitor’s dead body. 

Lydia notices that they’re in the chemistry room and they need to make a Molotov Cocktail. Lydia, I’m into you right now. 

Everyone on this show clearly agrees with me. 

Allison confronts Scott before he goes to get the key. She tells him he’s been lying all night (ma’am, you are correct. #JusticeForDerek). Jackson smirks to himself. 

90% of this episode is just people wandering around the dark corridors of the school. Scott wanders, armed with the molotov cocktail. I pray for Derek’s arrival. If he’s awake somehow, I bet he heard all the shit they were talking about him with his werehearing. I hope in revenge he spreads malicious rumors about Scott. 

Blood drips onto Scott. He looks up to see the Janitor’s body strung up somehow on the underside of the bleachers in the gym? I’m so confused. It’s all very dark. And how would the Alpha do this? When did he have time? Did he do this in were form or human form? The logistics of this make my head spin. 

Uh oh. Back in the chem class, Lydia exposits that the cocktail won’t ignite if there isn’t sulfuric acid in it. Jackson insists he handed Lydia everything she asked for. Unconvincingly, she says she’s sure he did. 

Scott faces off against the Alpha. The CGI is so delightfully bad. Scott throws the cocktail and nothing happens. The Alpha pounces and HOWLS, causing Jackson’s neck to freak out where he was scratched. It also causes Scott to wolf out. 

Stiles notices that something is on the back of Jackson’s neck. Jackson gets very cagey. 

Scott goes back to wandering the halls in the dark but this time as a wolf. Or like. Half wolf/half human, unlike the Alpha who is fully wolfed out? Scott thinks of Allison and uses his happy memories of her to un-wolf out. This all feels super time wastey and Derekless for my tastes. 

Cops arrive on the scene! The chem class crew is relieved! 

The cops can’t find the janitor’s body or Derek’s. Scott feels unbelieved. Maybe if you weren’t the teen wolf boy who cried wolf about Derek you would be believed, young man. 

Scott insists that the Alpha left them alive because he...wants him in his pack...and he thinks that first he has to get rid of his old pack...which consists of Allison/Jackson/Lydia/Stiles. Wha? None of this makes any sense. I mean he was already in the Alpha’s clutches...and the Alpha just howled? And none of these people are actually his pack? I mean MAYBE Stiles and Allison (except they’re humans? I don’t understand??) But Jackson would be the first to be like, “I am not in his pack, thank you, bye.” And why is this where Scott’s mind goes? And if that were the case why didn’t the Alpha kill them? Oh apparently it’s because...the Alpha wants Scott to kill them? This is so fucking nonsensical. 

Scott says the worst part is that when the Alpha made him shift he wanted to kill all of them. I mean, now it makes more sense why he jumped to that conclusion, and I feel like he should have led with that. 

WE STILL HAVE NO EYES ON DEREK THIS WHOLE EPISODE. I HAVE BEEN ROBBED. 

But we do find Deaton. He offers Scott a raise for helping him get free? 

Scott chases after Allison, and she gives him the cold shoulder. She can’t trust Scott anymore (???). Scott tries to placate her with an assurance that he will have a new phone tomorrow (lmao). She dumps his ass. That’s karma, Scott.

Heyo anon, took me a while to respond to this because when my roommate was evicted she took the wi-fi with her and it took like 2 days to get our new wi-fi up and running and I didn’t feel like answering on my phone. (Far too long for phone typing). I’m going to throw this under the cut because it’s super long but if anyone wants an overly long and absolutely absurd story of hwite women gone wild...

SOOOO basically, me and Roommate A, (two Black women) had to both file individual restraining orders against Roommate B (a Karen-tastic white woman) and while my order was only for B to not talk to me or go in my room (best i could get) Roommate A’s restraining order included immediate eviction of Roommate B. So on Thursday, which happened to be Roommate B’s birthday(!), two cops came in and served her and she had one hour to collect as  much stuff as she could and get the fuck out basically. 

My restraining order came after multiple altercations with Karen (let’s just call her that, it’s easier) where she would try to physically intimidate me, get in my face, yell, call me a “bitch”, “asshole”, “stupid”, “scum”, “disgusting” etc. After the first altercation she forced me into another conversation where she said that we had been abusing and gaslighting her, while sobbing, and “blah blah blah why can’t we all get along but also i did nothing wrong here”. After that I ignored her as best i could, and then on election day I was in the kitchen baking a stress cake and she decided that was the best time to confront me about air-drying my dishes. I told her multiple times I didn’t want to speak with her, she insisted on it, picked up a knife I was drying on the counter and “casually” held it while berating me about the air-drying. I had to tell her three times to put the knife down and she refused outright the first two times. Later in the night she decided to start moving my baking stuff around because she “needed” the entire counter to make her dinner although there was plenty of space. She picked up my bowl, i grabbed the other side and told her to stop touching my property, in doing so our hands touched and she said “UMM I DID NOT GIVE YOU CONSNET TO TOUCH ME.” and threatened to file a report on me for assault. Because Karen.  The name calling continued, calling me scum being a favorite of hers. I filed the report shortly after. I didnt hear back from the court until i followed up after a third incident in which she accused me of stealing her mail. Apparently the building concierge had told her i picked it up, I told her i only picked up my mail and she said “well they said you have it so if they can’t find her i will have to pursue you”. I asked wtf that meant and she said “well i’ll do whatever i have to d to get my mail”. I told her i don’t have it and asked if she was threatening me and she said “well yes, I’ll do what i have to”. So that third one sent me over the edge and there we have restraining order 1.

Now roommate B is diabetic and thus at extreme risk for COVID. She works from home (so do i), instacarts everything, sprays literally everything with hand sanitizer. She is EXTREMELY health conscious. Now Karen works outside in a lab that does COVID tests and would basically use that as a threat whenever Roommate B expressed concerns about COVID safety saying “well if i get it you get it, so idk what you want me to do”. On top of that, she had multiple overnight guests and would only give us about 6 hours notice about said guests. If B complained, Karen would say “well i live here so i can bring who ever I want”. B asked if these guests could at least wear masks in the common areas and Karen not only said no, she banned roommate B from looking at or speaking to her guests. (And this was multiple screaming matches i’m summarizing here). B kept making the point that as a diabetic, COVID could literally kill her and Karen would say “well they’re not wearing it in my room, so if they give it to me, I’ll give it to you. If you were that scared for your life you’d go to a hotel or an AirBnB”. 

So because this past thursday was her Birthday, Karen invited a friend to stay from wed-mon. B once again requested masks in the common areas. Karen said no, said she was going to have a party because it’s her birthday and “I hope my friends get all their germs everywhere”. She also added she was going to sign the apartment up for a couch surfing site and let random people stay here “because it’s my couch”. The argument kept escalating to Karen literally banging on roommate B’s door and asking her to come out while B repeatedly told her to go away. Karen then threatened to go outside to the balcony and knock on B’s window. Now at about midnight, Karen is now sing-songing “enjoy the roooooooonaaaa” so B keeps asking if Karen has it and Karen keeps saying “idk i could have it, i go out everyday who knows” with creepy glee. She continues to sing “enjoy the rona”.  

2 days later, thursday, Roommate B gets her restraining order that Karen is a intentional and malignant threat to her safety re:COVID-19 and Karen is forced to vacate the premises.

Ooohohoho you wanna talk angst, do ya?

Aight, you asked for it. Some of these will be less of headcanons and more of “what if”s, bc that’s how my brain rolls. Also this will be long bc I don’t know how to shut up about these boys when you get me started   ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So to start off there’s the classic “Kagami receives debilitating injury that prevents him from playing basketball and Aomine has to come to terms with the fact that he’ll never play with him again and reassess why they’re even together” scenario. I’ve touched on it, the lovely and incomparable Dandy has done a whole thing on it (extremely well I might add, go check out their fic Hold Onto Me on AO3 seriously it kills), but honestly I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of playing this one out. I might even try my hand at writing it again, there’s something about Aomine unable to stand seeing Kagami in a wheelchair that just...does things to my heart. And the potential for hospital bedside fights and crying and mutual frustrations that mostly boil down to “this sucks, this sucks” is really compelling to me.

Then, idk why, but the idea of Aomine having some internalized homophobia and being ashamed to be seen with Kagami and not letting him get too affectionate even when they’re alone interests me a lot. Maybe Kagami finally gets too tired to deal with it anymore and they break up and only then does Aomine realize what he really means to him.

But if you, like me, are just a liiiittle bit over the old “Aomine is a dick. Kagami leaves him, or threatens to. Aomine realizes he was a dick and they make up” trope, then I ask you to consider...what if they don’t make up. What if it’s too late and Aomine just has to live with the fact that he pushed away the best thing to ever happen to him. Tbh I see a lot of angst with this pairing but so rarely do I see it committed to, and sometimes in life when you fuck up, you don’t get a second chance.

And in that same vein, I’ve seen a few doujins and things for this BUT, I’m seriously a slut for the “he’s getting married to someone else and I never told him how I felt when I had the chance” concept. I could see it from both of their perspectives and either way it’s pretty brutal. Especially if they have to go to the fucking wedding.

The really heavy stuff (tw: character death, violence, gore, remember: you asked for this):

Bittersweet, but please...think about them growing old together and being so in sync their whole lives that, say, when Aomine passes away, Kagami keeps waiting for him to finish his sentences or call him a dumbass or ask him for a one on one, but it never comes. Imagine him telling people constantly about his husband who “does x annoying thing all the time he’s such an asshole seriously” oh, when are we finally gonna meet your husband? “you can’t, he died five years ago.” Fucking fuck me up.

ALSO I’m such a goddamn old-fashioned sucker for people taking a figurative or literal bullet for a loved one, SO. IMAGINE. Say, cop Aomine handling a dangerous criminal and Kagami tries to cut in and defend him and he gets fucking shot. I direct you to California Summer by @hadenxcharm for an example of something similar (or arguably worse) that I won’t spoil here because...damn it hits hard. Like it’s not fatal but still, damn.

Think of Aomine having to write a eulogy for Kagami’s funeral and tell me you don’t just want to yank your heart out.

Think of Kagami stroking Aomine’s hair and telling him it’s going to be okay while he bleeds out in his arms. Think of Aomine being afraid to die, and he just keeps saying “I love you, I love you” over and over because he realizes he never said it enough before now.

Alternatively, Kagami is pissed at something Aomine did, and refuses to forgive him, and he doesn’t find out it was an accident/not what he thought it was until he’s dying in his arms.

I have so many scenarios for one or both of these guys dying in my head I really need to Stop. Or like...actually write them out or something idk.

One last one because this already really long and really sad. So um...apparently I’ve got a bit of a vendetta against legs, this has been pointed out to me on multiple occasions, so I’m gonna kinda take us full circle and suggest...Kagami...getting his leg/s...cut off? Maybe in a medical amputation sense, maybe in a “held hostage by a crime boss or smth and he’s being held down and screaming while Aomine watches, also screaming” sense, but either way...yeah. Plus, aftermath: Aomine sobbing over Kagami’s bleeding, mutilated body, having to carry him out of there, having to teach him to walk again with crutches or prosthetics, that’s double angst.

Alright, that’s all I got right now, so I’m gonna cut myself off. This was a pretty open-ended question so I kinda went hog wild with it, but if you set me loose with “aokaga” and “angst” this is what happens. I hope you got what you asked for.

Istretched on the couch, my back crackling pleasantly as I changed position andcontinued reading my book. It’s so nice when it’s peaceful and warm like this.

I turnedanother page when I heard a rumble. I looked towards the sound immediately. Itwas coming from the room next door.

I givethem my name and only then I realize that I might have been stupid for doingthat.

They allstare at each other for a while, everyone mostly afraid of me it seems. Butthen just when I decide to speak again, Mo Xuanyu cuts me off. “As much as Ican see, we are not from this world, or not this time”, he pokes the plasticplant on my cabinet, weirded out by its texture. “And I sense no energy fromyou”, he looks at me, still smiling. “Not that you would believe me thateasily, huh?”

“Seriously?”I look at him angry.

Instead ofanswering he draws his sword and throws it in the air.

“What areyou…?” I don’t finish when I see the sword floating in the air.

I sit onmy sofa, too shocked to stand.

And that’show I ended up living with four gorgeous idiots. I sipped my coffee, watchingthem. It was still hot as hell, but I had a long dress on with a sweater overit. They couldn’t even look at me otherwise.

“Whathappens now?” Lan Sizhui stood in the kitchen.

“You’llsee, just wait”, I waved my hand. Loud noises from the living room annoyed me.“Mo Xuanyu, stop changing tv channels and come get breakfast!”

“Coming!What’s there to eat?” He looked ecstatic as he ran into the kitchen. Modern dayclothes really looked good on him. Even though I spent almost all my money ongetting them dressed, it was worth it.

“Eggfs andbeffon”, Lan Jingyi was stuffing his face. I guess he liked the food at least.

“Theremight not be enough sugar”, Mo Xuanyu laughed his ass off when he saw Jin Lingon the other side of the counter, putting cube after cube of sugar in hiscoffee.

“Why don’tI just make you tea next time?” I offered even though I knew he would refuse.My tea tasted terrible apparently. Next thing I’m going to need to buy isproper tea making set.

A popfollowed by a scream came from behind my back. Lan Sizhui clung onto me.“That’s how a toaster works. See”, I gave him his bread and he seems a littleless scared now.

I’mactually really enjoying living with them. They are admiring and looking in aweeverything I show them. It is really cute. Not to mention they are all reallyhot.

“No fair!”Mo Xuanyu looks like he is pouting, then he launches himself on me and Lan Sizhui,pulling us both in a hug. “You can’t be the only one who hugs her”, he stickshis tongue out playfully.  

I feelblood surging to my face. “Get off, you’ll make me spill my coffee”, I try tokeep a cool head. Needless to say, it’s useless, because Mo Xuanyu is still notletting me go. On the contrary, he placed both hands around my shoulders.

“Youremind me of a cat”, I sigh in defeat. I’ll just have to somehow manage untilhe lets go.

Others arelooking at him funny, almost like they are glaring. Don’t tell me they aresnugglers to? I’m only one, they should all snuggle together.

“You aremaking her uncomfortable”, it was Lan Jingyi who first said it. “You should lether go.”

“You’rejust saying that so you could hug her”, Mo Xuanyu rebelled and held me tighter,Lan Sizhui now backing away a little.

I sigh andhead chopped Mo Xuanyu. That makes him cry out and let me go.

“Youdeserved it”, Jin Ling huffed.

Lan Jingyichuckles while Lan Sizhui just smiles.

I findmyself watching them with fondness. I haven’t known them for a long time, butthese few days were enough for me to grow somewhat attached to them.

“It is myday off today so is there somewhere you want to go?” I ask smiling at them.

“Amusementpark!” Lan Jingyi exclaimed.

“Zoo”, JinLing shrugged like he didn’t care, but I can see he really wants to go.

“I want tosee a museum”, Lan Sizhui said shyly.

“I want tosee a movie in cinema!” Mo Xuanyu expressed his wish.

They areall so different. How should I decide this?

I guess Ihave no choice. “We should hurry then if we want to see it all”, I sighed, butstill smiled at them.

“It’s adate!” Mo happily clapped his hands.

“A date?”They all looked at him in shock.

I decideto call his joke, but before I could the rest respond.

“Thatsounds great!” Lan Jingyi smiles.

“You watchtoo much television”, Jin Ling deadpans, but then adds quietly. “Not that Iwould mind if it is date.”

Lan Sizhuilooks troubled, like he is in conflict with himself. “I guess it would be nice…but don’t bother her, remember she is taking care of us here.”

“I said itwas a date first! You children should just stay out of it”, Mo tells them, buthe looks somewhat amused and grins when he sees their face.

“Notfair!” The rest shout in union.

The 24th of June came all too soon (2020)

today is Wednesday. i waved to a woman walking her dog on my street tonight and said: "happy Thursday!"...

since I have last posted:

this Friday will mark two weeks since Donnie died

the Friday that donnie died I worked all day and then Eviean and Bobby Jo so graciously helped me move out of the East Nashville Shelby avenue house of a thousand assholes cat rank infested toxoplasmosis vessel of judgement and into my very own 2 bedroom duplex in the west side in under 3 hours.

then Saturday I drove to waverly Alabama the next day to try and prepare and be there for belle and to help her prepare for donnies funeral on Monday and: benjy Baby in waverly was so kind to let me and Jennifer and Andy her rekindled native roots love and man who now lives in her home with his dog stay at his place that weekend and when I arrived there at 3pm on Saturday jen was three sheets to the wind and had apparently been drinking since 8:30am that morning and eating lord knows what kind of drugs and she proceeded to start becoming so paranoid and upset with me throughout the day and night that she had that look in her eye that she wanted to kill me again and i awoke on the couch at 3am to Andy right beside me and her slapping me and screaming "im gonna fuckin kill you Bitch youre doing the same thing you did with drew with andy im gonna fucking kill you this time!!" I told her I was sleeping by myself was passed out on the couch as it was obvious and she said "I saw what you were doing with your toes on him right beside you" and Andy kept saying "im sorry I'm sorry what do I do what do I do?!" to me and I told him to get the fuck away from me and get her under control and he put his hands up and backed away and then she proceeded to push me on the ground and I swear to god if she had a gun she would have shot me straight between the eyes... I then yelled call the cops and told her that if she wanted to really do the damn thing then lets do it and have everyone present for this shit or get the fuck away and she drove off and Andy didn't chase her and she then drove to lake lanier Georgia at 4:30am and stranded them there and refused to pick them up and told me she didn't trust me and to block me and poor belle...

ill Finish the rest of the last 2 weeks summary later bc I gotta go wash sheets and clothes for tomorrow and then ptfo to prepare myself for the justice I am about to try and bring forth tomorrow at work bc heather is not going to be spreading her evil psychopathic poison on my unit any more if I can help it.... i will include one last thing from my day today though... Dr MB texted me this today and I am intrigued I must say: "I always think I'll find you in the VPH 3rd floor hallway some day with your fire staff and your phone on the ground recording 😛 (probably after 5 PM when the clinic is closed)" and I said: "After all, I must practice with intention in every dimension" 😏 here's to spinning some good vibe tribe full circle shakras tomorrow. I need to sleep and I need to eat and I need to not keep on going fast all the time on repeat.
