"ugh," a heavy groan escaped your lips at the sound of the clock. you seated slightly, your head pounding without mercy. 

as you looked at the window, your eyes fought against the early sunlight, before adjusting and finally allowing you to fully open them.

it took you a few seconds to remember your surroundings, and to be honest, to remember anything. 

the confusion didn't last long when all the memories from last night hit you all at once. 

you had gone out for the night with morrigan. you went to rita's for a girls night.

a night with a lot of drinking and dancing and singing and drinking again — mysterious headache solved.

you looked down on you, seeing the shiny short black dress you had chosen for last night specifically. 

you passed your hands through your messy hair and took a glance at your bedroom, absorbing the chaos that a very drunk you had caused.

how could just a person cause such a mess?

at the sound of the clock that kept attacking your brain. 

before you could think twice, you turned and reached out to punch the clock, causing it to fall to the ground.

you lowered yourself on the bed sheets with an arm over your head.

and that's when it you.

your eyes and two seconds later, your legs were fighting against the bed sheets. 

after losing that battle, you ended up falling to the ground with a loud noise. 

a small 'huff' came out of your mouth before getting up and running to the clock as quickly as possible to check the time. 

10:07 am

"oh, shit."

you were late for your internship at the clinic.

"oh, shit."

you quickly begin to look for clean clothes at the same time you try to get rid of your dress. 

you manage to find something that looked relatively clean and put it on, your heart racing as you tried to get your hair to not look like a complete mess.

when you finished putting your hair in a more presentable state, you hurried to put on your shoes, but when you noticed the time again, you only managed to put on a sock before grabbing the first pair of shoes in sight and running out of your room. 

as you run for the stairs, you didn't have time to react before a body collided with yours and spilled coffee all over your t-shirt.

the hot contents against your skin forced you to let out a small scream and dropped the shoes to the floor as you struggled to pull the fabric of your t-shirt away from your body. 

"shit, shit, shit!" you cursed at the same time you blew on your t-shirt.

great, as if your day wasn't already going badly. 

"sorry," a small voice said.

you met your attacker's gaze as you looked up to see a beautiful female with green eyes and brown hair — morrigan's friend. 

right, you had forgotten that she had come home with the two of you — with mor. 

the female looked mortified as you stared at her annoyed. when you saw her opening her mouth to say something, you quickly stopped her.

"don't," you raised your hand at her, you didn't have time for this, "just. . .just go."

you pointed at morrigan's bedroom, whose door was slightly open. the female followed your direction, shrinking a little as she passed through you.

"idiot!" you cursed quietly. 

you looked at your bedroom and considered your options: the chances that you may find a new clean t-shirt in the middle of that mess, were very low and you were already late.

so you gave up and made your way down the stairs, starting to unbutton your shirt before completely taking it off, leaving you in your black lacy bra, and entering the kitchen.

rhysand and cassian who had been enjoying a late breakfast found themselves speechless upon your entrance. 

their gazes followed you as you moved to the sink and started working on removing the stain.

the males shared a gaze between them, identical smirks forming on both of their faces.

"good morning, y/n." rhysand greeted you as he took a sip of his tea cup.

you jumped startled, your eyes found theirs immediately, "gods, i didn't see you there."

rhysand's smirk grew wider. "oh, we know."

"did you get mugged?" cassian asked as he took in your figure.

you were barefoot with only one sock and shirtless.

"what?" you asked confused. 

cassian's eyes roam over your body.

"oh, no, morrigan's friend though it was a good idea to spill her coffee all over me. freaking idiot," you murmured the last part, still focused on the task in hand.

cassian let out a snort "well, i'll make sure to thank her personally for this amazing view."

you rolled your eyes at his comment "oh, shut up, cassian. we grew up together, we've all seen each other naked at one point."

rhys smirked and grew before adding "sure, but we were either kids or teenagers at those times." 

cassian glanced at his brother, amusement all over his features "maybe we should go back to those times."

with another roll of your eyes, you tried to suppress a smile at your friend's comment while trying to get rid of the stain.

as on cue, the shadowsinger entered the kitchen to join his brothers for breakfast.

instead, he was surprised with a view of you shirtless — his shirtless mate.

the very reason, rhys and cassian had begun to tease you in the first place. 

what made this whole situation much funnier — the fact that you weren't aware of this detail. 

and things had just become a lot more interesting now with azriel in the room. 

his eyes widened at the sight of you but when he turned to find his brothers, his eyes darkened and a low growl was released.

"nice of you to join us, brother," cassian said casually as he leaned back in his seat and crossed his arms over his chest.

he can practically feel the heat coming off of azriel, like smoke coming out of his ears.

"what's wrong, az?" rhys asked him, knowing exactly what was going on but seeing azriel riled up was too funny to miss it.

at the sound of their voices, you looked up and your eyes found a pair of hazel ones.

"oh, hi, azriel." you greeted him with your sweet smile — the one he liked so much.

the shadowsinger found himself melting at your words, at the way you said his name. 

his eyes instantly softed, a small blush coming to his cheeks and a goofy smile on his lips, "h-hi, y/n." 

you gave him a warm smile before going back to your task.

azriel regained his composure at the sound of his brothers' muffled laughter. 

he sighed and rolled his eyes at their behavior, he hadn't catched a break from them since he revealed the mating bond on one drunken night.

cassian elbowed rhys gently in the ribs to get his attention, when his eyes found his, the general gestured with his head to the shadowsinger. 

"hey, az" cassian tried to contain his urge to laugh, he knew what was about to happen. 

"what?" azriel managed to say, his eyes still on your figure.

"we were just talking. . ." cassian started, his voice teasing "about going back to those times when we were teenagers." 

azriel face scrunched in confusion, he shot his brother a look. 

"you know," cassian continued, his peripheral vision caught rhys trying to control himself  "those times where we didn't care about being naked in front of each other." 

both rhys and cassian snorted at the sight of azriel's face turning red.

"what?!" the male let out a little too loud then he had intended.

rhys proceeded, "yeah, you know. when we didn't care so much about formalities. don't you agree, y/n?" 

you rolled your eyes again at rhys comment, "i think you two have too much free time" you chuckled, "cauldron has mercy on the poor females that will ended up as your mates."

"hey!" both cassian and rhys protested.

azriel smiled at your comment, but it fell when he observed both of his brothers eyes roaming over your body, grins splattered on their features.

azriel moved to the edge of the table, placing his hands on the surface of it before giving them a glare and clenching his jaw.

"stop looking at her like that before i break your faces" he threatened through gritted teeth. 

cassian and rhys were quick to lift their arms in surrender, both muttering a small "yes, sir." 

azriel rolled his eyes in annoyance. his attention was caught when he heard you cursed quietly. 

he sent one last warning look to the two males before moving to stand behind you.

he was so close, that all it took was another step of his for your back to be pressed against his chest.

azriel would love to know the feeling of that sensation, but he remained where he was.

he peeked through your shoulder and saw that you couldn't get rid of the annoying coffee stain. 

"gods, madja is going to kill me for being late." 

without a second thought, azriel took a step back.

"here," he told you.

you turned to find him taking off his own shirt.

your eyes roamed his body — his sun-kissed skin, his muscles, his illyrian tattoos. 

you loved those tattoos. 

"put it on," he extended his hand to you, holding out his shirt.

"oh, that's not necessary, az. i-"

"it's okay, y/n. i- i want you too. by the way, why don't you go get your shoes and i'll take you to the clinic? it's quicker that way and you don't have to walk." 

your face softened, "really? you would do that?" 

the corner of his lips lifted for a small smile, only you to make him feel this way.

"of course." 

you grabbed his shirt, "ugh, thank you, az."

you put it on and azriel tried to not let the sight of your small feature into his too big of a shirt to affect him, but he failed when his heart skipped a beat.

you moved forward and grabbed his cheeks, kissing him on the left one.

caught off guard, azriel tried to hide the fact that his skin had heated up under your touch. 

a new blush came to decorate his cheeks. 

"hm. . .i-" the male couldn't find his words with the sound of his heart roaming in his ears. 

"you're my hero, az" you gave a big smile before making your way to the stairs to collect your shoes. 

azriel stood there in the middle of the kitchen with a hand making it's way to his face to touch the place you kissed him.

cassian and rhys burst out laughing, not being able to remain composed of their brother in love. 

cassian got up from his seat and walked towards his brother, clasping a hand on his back.

"behold of the big bad scary shadow-," cassian leaned over in laughter, "shadowsinger" he managed to complete. 

rhys appeared on his other side, "oh, brother. only if your enemies could see you now, they would think how big of a fool they are."  

azriel clenched his jaw again, and when he turned to answer them, he was stopped by a honey-sweet voice.

"i'm ready," you told him from the entrance.

once again, the shadowsinger was left completely disarmed.

a goofy smile reappeared on his face. 

he didn't even spare a glance at his brothers before making his way to you, "let's go then."

cassian and rhys were left in the kitchen laughing to themselves.

the trip to the clinic was quick.

azriel landed softly on the ground, keeping a hand on your waist and another on your back to make sure you were stable.

you took a step forward before turning to him.

"thank you again, az. you literally just saved my morning." 

and there it was that goofy smile again.

"oh, it's nothing really. my pleasure." 

you let out a small giggle. you reached forward, surrounding his neck with one of your arms and gave him a kiss on the cheek again.

azriel's heart raced and his voice caught in his throat. 

you took a step back "you're my hero, azriel. what would i do without you?" 

you caressed his cheek with the back of your hand before giving him one last smile and moving towards the clinic.

"hm, i-" was all the male managed to say while watching you entering the clinic with his shirt.

he watched as you grabbed the door, and turned to him to wave goodbye. 

azriel returned the gesture. it was at that moment that he realized how much power you had over him.

he didn't push away that feeling, in fact he embraced it.

it was about time to let the walls he had built so long ago disappear. 

and you were the right person for that.

azriel made a decision at that moment.

at the end of the day, he would come pick you up and ask you out on a date.

he would buy you flowers, tell you how he felt and take you to dinner.

he just hoped you felt the same way.

and that you said yes.

The Lost Boys: How They Dream

Marko

- Bright bold colors and random images

- Distance sounds and physical sensations

- He dreams in a lot of red and blues

-He hears pigeon chirps and motorcycles engines

- very abstract

- He knows how the dream makes him feel, but what the dream is about is always unclear to him

- I think his jacket is based off his dreams

- He started with a plan jacket, and then every time he had a dream he would add something to his jacket that looked like what every he dreamed about

- It’s why his jacket is so wild and unhinged looking

- He spent many months digging through dumpsters and searching through thrift stores to find pieces for “the jacket” as he called it

- I think all the boys tried to contribute to the jacket too

- Dwayne cut a piece of his red bandanna off for Marko to use on his jacket

- David found a some scrap fabric and burnt pieces of it with a cigarette to attempt to make a cool looking design

- And with all my being I believe that Paul was the reason for the fishing lures on Marko’s jacket shoulder

- Dwayne and David thought they looked ridiculous, but Marko thinks they are cool looking

Paul

- Doesn’t usually dream

- Which he HATES

- He wants to have dreams sooooo badly

- He tries all the tricks that he reads about from magazines or picks up from various “spiritual’ people on the board walk

- He has tried special teas

- Turning his clothes inside out

- Mediating (which is really hard for him since he can’t sit still )

- Walking around the cave counter clockwise before morning

- Wearing “magical” trinkets while he sleeps (this one David makes fun of him hardcore for)

- But nothing works!

- He even paid a local Boardwalk witch once to ��cast a spell” so that he could dream

- He gave her 50 bucks, and she said some magical words and sent Paul on his way

- It did not work

- He went back the next night and overheard her talking to someone about a “dumb blonde” trying to dream that she ripped off

- Paul, uncharacteristically, moped back to the cave

- When he told the boys what happened, well…..let’s just say that Santa Carla had once less witch by the end of the night

Dwayne

- he has very vivid dreams, with complex story lines that sometimes carry over to the following night morning

- The problem is that 8 times out of 10 he doesn’t remember his dreams

- This frustrates him to no end

- He alway remembers how the dream made him feel or sometimes the general theme of it

- Like he will recall that he dreamed about an exciting adventure or a sensual romance, but he can’t really tell you what exactly happened in it

- There is one exception to this though

- When he has a nightmare

- His always remembers his nightmares so vividly and can recall them clearly when he wakes up

- He would rather dream like this though, then to not dream at all like Paul

David

- David dreams pretty normally

- Sometimes he has a dream sometimes he doesn’t

- He dreams a lot about his past and his present family

- Sometimes they are good memories, sometimes not

- The bad memory dreams always seem to be recurring too

- Like if he has a bad dream one day, he will probably have the same dream over and over again for a week

- If he has an s/o then he definitely would dream about them ( in both G and X rated form hehehehe)

- I think because he has power of the mind he can also influence people’s dreams

- He finds this quiet entertaining, and has been trying to hone this skill for sometime

To start with is the obvious when it comes to you about Noah, you're not necessarily over Noah, but you've chosen to accept the fact that it wasn't your time and moved on, you've found someone new, surely he would've too? No matter what, he'll always hold a special place in your heart.

The most important thing is that this tour is a huuuuge opportunity for you and your growing portfolio, and you will not allow yourself to be distracted by the fact you're working with your ex. You're going to prove to Bryan, who has given you this opportunity, that you can be professional.

Naturally it starts out maybe a little awkward before you're both breaking the ice and find yourself slipping back into the familiar territory, because even before and after getting together, maybe you were good at the friend thing too. You liked one another's company, you could always have a laugh together, you shared similar interests and had enlightening conversations. You had to admit it, but with him it was easy.

Cut to Bryan letting you take photos from their practice as prep for the actual show and that's when you get this big beaming smile from Noah.

And this would be such a great plan if it's not for Noah catching wind of the fact you're moving on.

How this happens could play out different ways:

Noah overhears you on the phone to someone else.

Noah overhears you telling someone else on tour, maybe Bryan since you're both getting close with working together and him helping you learn more things.

Maybe one of the guys overhears you and tells Noah or tells you that you need to, since they're already aware of his feelings and it's just unfair on him.

For extra drama the guy could actually be someone attached to Noah, but prepare for this to end badly for you because bros over ho*s.

Either way the result will come out the same and you end up with these photos and Noah being a grumpy baby.

Cue the blow up, or at least the lead up to it, because now you're either going to have a cute style confession scene, or something more dramatic that only drives the wedge further apart.

For extra angst you can always add in a surprise kiss at this point which is walked in on by your special someone 🫣

Is this too much? Did I get a little carried away? I'm sorry anon, my brain decided to run with this and I'm losing my mind as much as Noah clearly would be.

I didn't even get to mention how pathetic or desperate he would get after knowing you're falling for someone else, like other than being grumpy this man is going to do EVERYTHING he can to get your attention, to get you to focus on him, and make you forget all about what's-his-face. Maybe steal your phone when you're together just to have you to himself. Maybe a send a text pretending to be you and asking for some 'space'.

Honestly, depending on the type of narrative you want, not only from Noah but in general, you could have sooo much fun.

And let's not forget about you during all of this because how are you feeling? Are you frustrated by him doing these things? Do you secretly like it and encourage it on purpose? Are you oblivious? All of that just plays into how everything unfolds.

👋 HIHI CAN U TALK ABOUT UR FAVOURITE DARVEY MOMENT

HI MY LOVE okay yes. yes i absolutely can.

so my favorite darvey moment is from 7x13 "Inevitable" when donna tries to resign from the firm and harvey rushes to her front door and rips her resignation letter right in front of her. the following ensues:

and okay. this is my favorite darvey moment. but why?? why not something from 4x15 or 8x16 or even 7x10??

first off, i think the dialogue in this scene is some of my favorite in the series because it is so concise but truly soooo punching. it is to-the-point but extremely honest and vulnerable, a very harvey way of expressing himself - this is one of the key times when his vulnerability was not explicitly prompted by donna, or even paula. this is him acting on his own volition to make a statement that will get donna back.

and that kind of starts to get to the crux of whyyy i love this moment so much. it's kind of one of the main times - the first time? - that harvey is honest and direct about the fact that he needs donna in his life, and that truly other things do not matter in comparison to the threat of losing her.

"but he literally had panic attacks in season five about her!!" panic attacks that he does not directly correlate to her absence, panic attacks that he tries to brush off in the company of other people, and panic attacks that his therapist loops back to his childhood trauma. harvey does not experience this and then automatically go "well shit, this is because of donna."

"but he's dreamed about his fears of donna leaving!!!" dreams that his therapist told him were about a general fear of people leaving, or his mom leaving, and were not tied to donna. dreams that he doesn't believe could be any proof of his feelings for donna, at least when he talks about them, because he's in denial.

not since season two had he really been this explicit about needing her, but that situation was even prompted by how badly he had fucked up and fucked her over, so he was also in a position to grovel and she prompted it because she was pissed off.

when he reads her resignation letter on his desk, he instantly runs from the office and goes to break up with his """girlfriend""". no hesitation. nobody is telling him how to handle the situation or how he's feeling, he is literally acting on his own wants and needs here. after ending things with paula, he runs to donna's apartment and stakes his claim that he needs her to come back.

while it's not an explicitly romantic gesture, this is the kind of showing up that donna has needed from him. he didn't let her walk away, he cleaned up his mess and proved to her that she is what is important, and that's what matters. he confronts head on what she means to him and is honest about it.

he's not groveling and she's not even making him fight for this kind of confession - not like she did in season two. he says this all on his own. in a way, it's a display of shocking maturity and it's just sooooo UGH with how she is trying to be a friend and ask if he's okay and all he's thinking about is her coming back to the firm.

and THEN she invites him inside and he doesn'taccept the invitation but i think it speaks to how overwhelmed donna is by this moment too - i don't know what she was expecting to happen, but i truly do not think she anticipated harvey at her door and basically rejecting her resignation attempt along with telling her that he is no longer with paula. like i would want to invite him in too, because i do think in this moment donna felt like he was finally choosing her. in my heart she also wanted to open the space for them to be friends and to comfort him about the breakup - but lets all be sooo real, her tone of voice was lowkey very insinuating of the fact that she needed him BAD lol. like her voice goes low and almost wavers and it's like, she's either about to cry or she needs to jump him lmao.

anyways best darvey moment ever, so much progression in their relationship and in harvey's ability to act on his needs!!!!!!! big big moment that i love so much!!!!!!!!!

Post-Zero Hour Legion of Super-Heroes Reading List.

I am ever so delighted that since I finished the MAIN series I have had 4 people in my DMs wanting to know an official reading order. This is amazing. So for those who might be a little more message shy here is a list for you to take, keep, and read.

You might see this order and think it's weird, trust me it, it is. The reason why it is weird is because 1.) the Zero Hour event in 1994 rebooted the team in the middle of two books, so the creators drafted up a new start with a #0 issue and 2.) LOSH had two books per month.

So people having abilities (read: superpowers) is a pretty recent thing! Think MHA rules, some kid just came out the womb with superpowers, and now a solid 80% or so of the population has an ability. Cellbit and Bagi, in fact, were maaaaybe the second generation to be born with powers, good for them! - But basically the FoH has existed since then. Originally, it was run by normal people(tm), but now it's entirely abilitied-run. - The Junior Hero Program is even more recent. Think, last ten years or so. When the FoH started getting abilitied people in charge, they wanted to capitalize on how powerful the younger generations could be. (And they were very annoyed by not being able to get Enigma when he was a child, because he'd be very useful to them...)

Bluebird is a really low-rank hero because she's basically just joined. You need to get points to rise in the ranks (think One Punch Man rules), and catching Spider-Man would be a HUGE boost in points with how badly the FoH wants him caught. But because she's Jaiden and because Roier is still her best friend despite the Everything, she keeps going after him with the intentions of failing. That way, she blocks other low-rank heroes from catching him, but she does try and make it look like she's actually trying every time. But also? She's so low-rank that nobody really takes her too seriously, which she is fully taking advantage of here

Bagi has been trying to track down Enigma since she made a connection with his supposed ability and her own (because, remember, she and Cellbit have VERY similar abilities because they're twins.) That was a While ago, basically when she and Cellbit would've been 14 or so. (He debuted as a villain a while ago, poor kid.) - But since Enigma disappeared, she's been taking on other cases and trying to fix the corrupt police department from the inside. But, God, every time she has to deal with this "Cellbit" guy, she's about to LOSE IT, he's sooooo annoying!!!

Cellbit is happily in retirement. He doesn't even like to use his ability anymore, he hates it so much. He'll only remove Richas' fears these days (never give anybody fear, not on purpose, never), and only because he hates seeing his son cry after he has a nightmare - BUT because he's an investigative journalist now working for his own online newspaper, he keeps ending up in dangerous situations. - BUT also this is very specifically because he wants to meet Spider-Man to get his help in destroying the FoH. Luckily, Spider-Man is very interested in him, too, so it all works out

Tazercraft are both villains actively wanted by the FoH (scroll back in the deli superhero au tag for more on them), but they do kinda actually run ChumeLabs, which supplies the FoH with technology. It's a great cover for two of the most wanted villains in Q City

flip! w/ a pretty balanced lean except for when she's with vi, then she's mostly the caregiver in their dynamic!! my girl forever n ever n ever. never knew it was possible for a character to be so mama and babygirl coded at the exact same time.

gosh. anything made with her i eat up in seconds!! mama, baby, give me all of it!! though if possible, i'd love to see her with more paci edits/regression content. let my girl be baby!!

flip! w/ a regressor lean around caitlyn. that's her puppy!!! i think we can all agree that she takes care of the people around her so much that i need to see a reverse of her feeling safe and taken care of. i love her so much and honestly? her upcoming spiral to wet dog pipeline is valid get that girl a paci STAT. vi gives me so much cuteness aggression its unbelieveable.

this is just for me and incredibly niche but i'd love to see more content of vi with a softer/warmcore canine aesthetic. specifically with larger breeds of dogs.

hear me out: caitlyn in a sweater drinking a warm cup of tea while she runs her hands along her pups hair while vi rests her head in her lap??? oh i'm ill (/pos) she always puts on such a brave front it makes me wanna wrap her in a warm blanket sooooo badly.

regressor. and he's scar's kid. a baby boy through and through. i almost never talk about him but i really want to with upcoming posts because he's honestly one of the best characters in the series. i love his desire to help people and the way that he takes absolutely no nonsense from anyone around him and calls them out for it is everything, and i REALLY hope he gives caitlyn and vi a wake up call for their actions. so far he's truly done no wrong in the series so and i stand by it!!

flip! with a caregiver lean!! i made an entire post about her but its honestly not enough. she has been my mama and will continue to be my mama despite canon. the reveal that she had helped to create the filtration system in zaun to help the citizens breathe?? and seeing caitlyn use her mother's wishes against them? man. that hurt.

i've been meaning to write headcanons for her but i think she barely regresses around anyone that she doesn't have complete trust in and even then she rarely does it out of embarassment. however, she is a baby to me.

that being said, any caregiver content with her i owe you my life. /lh

I've been trying so hard to fix and rewrite all the character bios... Aaron MCD is the only one of the major characters that's nearly at full completion (missing his bio from s3 rn). that's only because he had like a tiny handful of lore drops and didn't talk much. Currently in the middle of working on Aphmau MCD's page. completing her bio/summary may be a nightmare

Whenever I fix all the character bios I'm gonna start adding a proper "featured articles" widget so it's more fun to browse !!! but thatll be a long way from now since they're massive

had a v nice time watching xmen at brother's gf's house, its the first time i've been to her house, she has 100 cats and i got to meet them all <33 we ordered indian and my dish was sooooo good. i'm back home now, it's almost 1:30 so i need to try and get some sleep. i've been sleeping really badly for a long time now, i think its just a side effect of everything i've been carrying, i have never been a very good sleeper but i used to be a heavier sleeper. i've been waking up at least four or five times every night for the last few months, sometimes it takes me a couple of hours to get back to sleep because my mind starts turning. sometimes i don't go back to sleep. hopefully its late enough that i can pass out properly. i need to do something about all the tension in my body, i don't know if i should see a physio or if i need a psychological release. years ago i remember we had some sort of couselling support available through work where we'd get a few free sessions, i'm thinking about asking HR if that arrangement is still in place. i don't want to talk to anyone but i probably should. i just keep thinking about how nonna and nonno caught covid in novemeber and i couldn't help mum take care of them because i needed to stay away, and then mum caught covid in december and i couldn't help her because i needed to stay away, and then mum started having heart troubles before christmas and had to wait two months for her procedure, and she took herself to the hospital in the middle of the night over a dozen times during those months because she felt so bad and i wasn't sure if she was coming home, and on new years day nonna woke up in pain and my brother, who is the strongest, couldn't help us move her around because he was away with his girlfriend for a week, and then mum had her procedure and nonna went back to hospital while i had a friend staying with us, and nonna has been in a lot of discomfort and hasn't left her bed since she came back from hospital a month ago, so taking care of her has been very, very hard. and i don't know how i'm supposed to have handled all of that, but i think i haven't handled it at all. i think i've mostly felt like i was suffocating. i feel like i haven't been able to breathe on a lot of days, there's so much stress in my throat constantly. there have been a lot of days where i just. want to run away. i feel so many things and i feel guilty about all of them. nonna is on a lot of medication right now, we think that we are most likely in the end days. what i need to do is go to sleep, and wake up, and live through the day, and the next, and just, survive this chapter.

I NEED to share my brainrot so sorry but au where charles is a ghost who scares away all potential tenants but pierre writes off all the ghostly things that keep happening to him and charles grows frustrated and ups his antics and pierre is like slightly annoyed but not enough to move out nd he tells all his friends who obviously try the ouija board and charles is so bored he messes with them spelling out he knows who they are and will get them etc and they all try everything to get him to leave including a weird ritual where they burn candles while doing some funky dance but it just keeps getting funnier and funnier and charles and pierre fall into a balance where charles tries to annoy him and pierre does the equivalent of swatting at a fly until one day it stops suddenly because charles is having a bad day and can't be bothered to get up so now pierre is concerned because what happened to his ghostie and tries everything like baking something vanilla and spreading it's aroma, ringing jingle bells in hopes it'll bring charles out, or trying out the ouija again and stuff like that but deep down he's kinda worried and scared and then charles is like boo and they both settle down on the couch and pierre can't hear or see him but can feel him and they both kinda just hold each other and they develop on how to communicate but then charles keeps fading and fading (in the sense pierre can't feel his presence as much) (yes this is based on that mark ruffalo movie) until one day pierre runs into lorenzo, the guy who sold him the apartment, with red eyes and talks to him and he's like, I think my brother will have to be taken off life support and pierre is so sad for him and they talk more and develop kind of a friendship and pierre offers to help so enzo invites him over and when he goes, zo is running late but arthur is there and they meet for the first time and pierre is so taken aback because he swears he has heard his voice before, sometimes faintly in the dead of night singing (coming from the direction of the shower) and arthur spills the tea after seeing him look at their childhood pic that yea he gets the comments a lot that he's very similar to sharl and that it's actually charles' apartment pierre is living in. then he gets very sad while telling that charles is actually in a coma and has been ever since he took a impact side on in an attempt to protect art who was in the passenger seat and got the brunt of a very bad accident and pierre kinda figures it out that his ghostie shar & charles are the same and he's fading because real charles is fading and that he needs to get him out the coma. he gets his friends together and *insert everything that happens in the movie* and charles wakes up but doesn't remember him so he makes it his mission to make charles fall in love again and then one day charles gets that look in his eyes and he's like pierre? and it's a happy ending.

B- What was the first fandom you read fic in? Which was the first you wrote fic for?

First one I read fic for… probably Sailor Moon? Or Chrono Trigger? That would have been back in, like, 1998 hahaha. Those were the two I would have sought out on my own, that’s for sure. And writing, definitely Chrono Trigger for some small things, but the first fandom I was REALLY into the fandom of, like had a community, read fic, wrote fic, was super active—that was Ronin Warriors. Probably 1999-2000 or so. My fanfic from this time was abjectly the most terrible shit ever created AND I STILL HAVE IT. Someday I should do a dramatic reading of some of the worst parts, it’s HILARIOUS.

I- How many fandoms have you written in? Do you have a favorite?

I had to check AO3 for this, and the answer is: over 30. Favorites… hm. Back in the day, Gundam Wing was a HUGE fandom for me. I remember that was when we had shit like pairing-specific websites, and personal sites, and webrings (lol) and despite me being a baby in high school who was NOT a good writer yet, I got put on a lot of rec lists simply, I suspect, because I was writing very long, plotty fics (nothing has changed). I felt sooooo cool!! Haha and then after that, I suppose my favorite was my JPOP idol fandom from 2010-2012. That fandom was A DUMPSTER TRASH FIRE and honestly I HATED it by the end, but while it was good, I was so fucking involved in it. We had anon memes, and running jokes, and I moderated some large communities on Livejournal. When it fell apart, it was like detonating a bomb on my life, so the love/hate relationship with that one is strong. But I really did love it, for a time. I hadn’t been super in a fandom since then, due to how badly it all ended, until wrestling. I like this fandom, but it’s gotten really splintered and fractured and the engagement issue persists like the plague; however, being on tumblr is something I really like about it. It feels like we can find each other easier than the LJ days.

everything i read in november

on the savage side by tiffany mcdaniel, 5*(!!!) - the month started off sooooo good with tiffany mcdaniel's latest release, centring around twin sisters who lose themselves to drug addiction and the path it takes them down to feed their addiction. but like, everything isn't as it seems. and you follow this thread of darkness throughout the novel that exposes itself near the end...and just. wow. i won't tell u my emotions because i literally do not want to give any hint of a spoiler but i think this would appeal to so many reading audiences cause it has a thriller-esque nature to it. please heed content warnings for this one tho x

scabby queen by kristin innes, 1* - baaad. very very baad. this was just boring and hard to follow and had literally no redeeming qualities. the plot was ridiculously hard to follow, i cant remember any of the characters names because there were literally far too many and i get the argument that was trying to be made here but the execution was just soooo far off. big sad to review a scottish author badly but yeah this one was not for me

jazz by toni morrison, 3.5* - ya know what, i enjoyed it. think i'm at that reader level now where i can appreciate morrison and think i'll try and read her whole works next year because i did really enjoy this one. plot was really interesting, characterisation worked so well, some beautiful stunning prose. interesting discussion on power structures, class, who and where home is. i liked it.

venomous lumpsucker by ned beauman, 3* - oh dear. this was like a heavy predicted 5* for me. i have had a copy since christmas last year and i haven't picked it up because i was waiting for that right moment, cause i thought it was going to be oh so good. and it wasn't. it was....it was just missing that bite. the writing style felt childish in places. really long-winded sentences and run-offs that had no place in making the story stronger. really dislikable characters and the message of the book got lost halfway through when side-quests started to be explored. a shame, cause i think the themes that beauman was playing with here and the way he was trying to craft them could have been so intelligent and so interesting, but this really missed the mark for me. it could maybe be a 2* honestly. sigh

grief is a thing with feathers by max porter, 4* - yeah this was clever. this was gut wrenching. it was a re-read. but it hit me just as hard as it did the first time. the "you decide" chapter still hurts every time. i carry this family with me. i think this book perfectly encapsulates grief and the way we just have to...move on. i think max porter is a genius and his lyrical writing style is beautiful. one of this generations greats imo.

I agree about your two last asks regarding gojo. I can understand how op characters might struggle to connect with other people, but this character trope has been done so many times, that I don’t believe it’s impossible for them to actually find a connection with someone who’s just an ordinary person. Gojo has always had the ability to make that connection with other people, he just didn’t believe it’s possible for him, because yknow he’s sooooo above them *eye roll*... I don’t hate or even dislike how gojos arc was executed, cause the set up was there. Gege was always open about what kind of person gojo is and just how flawed his philosophy was. So narrative and characterisation wise, his arc makes sense. I DO think it’s a well executed arc. The only thing that personally bothers me is that… I really liked gojo for his flaws, but in the end they don’t actually seem to matter, because they were never really challenged (?) he got out of his box, he didn't give much of a reaction to his plans completely falling apart right in front of him (which… fine ok I guess he always had other priorities) or didn't even acknowledge megumi's situation beyond what it meant for the fight, went to have a fun fight, had fun and died. The end. so, at least to me, it feels like he completely got away with dealing with any consequences of his actions. They don’t matter anymore, his character reach his final destination. so as much as l genuinely appreciated gojo for his flaws… I don’t know how to feel about his character now. Right now, he’s just an overpowered guy who’s been struggling with an identity crisis for the past decade, until a stronger and smarter guy showed up (smarter because well… he kinda did outsmart him in the end) and gave him an answer by dethroning him of his title of the strongest (aka brutally murdering him). so all in all… his arc feels quite underwhelming… I mean it’s a good arc, but I wasn’t blown away lol there wasn’t much of an emotional impact for me AND THERE COULDVE BEEN, cause there are things gege could’ve tackled and developed better, but that’s on me I guess. I too in a way fell for the hype of gojo satoru, so I did end up having some expectations. I can only be glad that my actual fav here (Sukuna) has still place in the narrative and gege has kept his symbolism and philosophy rather tightly guarded, which doesn’t really leave us much room for expectations, since there’s very little we know about him. Honestly I’m just happy that the plot can finally (hopefully) move forward.

i also appreciate gojou for his flaws because i also thought something would be done with them narratively. i would've also preferred if his worldview got challenged actually and if he had to actually deal with the consequences of his actions a beliefs. now the kids will have to.

i wonder what this story would've been like if gege didn't decide to speed run it at some point. i wish i knew why they want to finish is as quickly as possible so badly.

OH THATS SO COOL CONGRATS ON THE HRT!! i wanna go on hrt sooooo badly one day but well see how doable it will be in poland. tho i am optimistic about the future since the current extremely conservative ruling party has lost a LOT of support over the years theyve been in charge so. theres hope! and good luck with that, i luckily will get a chance relatively soon with that school trip i mentioned. tho im not 100% sure if im gonna be confident enough to be in a swimsuit in front of my class since i dont even particularly like most of them. and yeah it really is like that with languages sjfgkkgkd the only reason my spoken english is good is bc i had a LOT of one-on-one lessons with a native speaker so i went through a lot of practice. and thats ok sjfjkfj its extremely common for foreigners to not be able to pronounce polish names [and for a reason. hell language even for us] so as long as you even try nobodys gonna be mad ajjdkf. tho in my personal case its very funny bc my birthname is literally identical in a lot of languages so ppl just accentuate it incorrectly. and soften the r. i unfortunately travel mainly in spring or summer since thats when i have the most free time, but im gonna try to convince my mom to go to more colder places [i miss tromso that was my ideal climate]. anyways, yeah thats a good idea!! seriously claras counters are so unbelievably cracked since 1. big big dmg, actually her main source of it, and 2. unlimited. everytime she gets attacked she immediately counters [after her ult, she also does this for allies attacked twice] so yeah i got her very early [30 pulls on standard, my beginner 5* was bailu] and since got her e1 and rec 10/10. im waiting to get bronya as well and since i dont have kafka guaranteed and won 50.50 twice in a row im not very confident ab getting her, i hope that if i lose its at least gonna be bronya. or welt. welt is cracked. i actually uninstalled genshin from my pc a while ago since i stopped playing altogether but i might come back from fontaine since im always curious ab the new regions. tho i did completely ignore the chasm coming out when it did. idk didnt excite me that much. and yeah i also think thats the case but at the same time Hm. average day in warsaw.
