Sleep.

You and Ran sleep together. Not in a weird way but, comfortable with each other. You know, the feeling of sudden peace that your boyfriend is just there beside you. It's quite vulnerable to see Ran Haitani himself sleeping. You can't imagine how much trust he had given to you, just to be with him. With his long black and blonde hair. You can't help but to admire him and enjoy this one of a kind moment. It almost feels like time has just stop. When finally, the love of your life is here and nothing can stop the relationship you have with Ran.

And…. Here are the human designs so far! I’m not sure what ethnicity to make Torbek, so defaulted to white for the ease of fluffy hair. I was thinking of making him also expiremented on duets his time in prison…. And also an idea of magic somehow spilling over into cowboy times and Torbek still getting his magic sauce. ANYWHO he was giving me huge depressed train conductor vibes so initial sketch had a silly hat on :)

Hootsie gets her hair done by her Uncles (gricko isn‘t good with thin white people hair yet) ((he’s practicing though!!!)) Hootsie also gets a nice little dress courtesy of Frost! She has a few cute outfits lovingly made by him, along with accessories gifted from the others. Kremy gives her a purple bow clip, Torbek finds a cute button on the ground he thought she’d like (she does) and Gideon makes her a little things idk I’m tired brah

Eddie wants to scream. Eddie wants to talk to Buck. There are questions he should ask - Do you know when the bleeding started? How long has it been? How bad does it hurt? Are you injured anywhere else? There is a conversation he wants to have - If I leave you here I don’t know that you’ll be alive when I get back. There are protocols, in disaster situations. If you can only save one person, you save the one most likely to survive. Beyond protocol, you always fucking save the kid. Beyond that, it's our kid. It’s our fucking kid, it’s Christopher, and I am going to get him to the surface and in doing so I am going to leave you for dead. But it’s Buck, and they never really needed words to talk, and Buck is still looking at him, and Eddie knows what he'd say. He'd downplay the injury. He knows the protocol. And he’d already said it, damned him out loud, he’s going to take you back up top and then come back for me.

i think a little bit of both honestly? break down / shock over the fact that, yknow, this dead kid just came back to life?? as a monster no less??? what?? and that surprise probably drove her to. some sort of break yes jfjf

BUT eventually it subsides and she falls into that moreso protective nature. she is a mother at heart, and heres the kid that she maybe feels that she owes so so much… of course shes gonna go a lil mom mode.

(does the fact that clover came back as a kitsune have anything to do with it? eh, maybe. or not. i dont think the type of monster they came back as would make thaaaat much of a difference to her feelings towards them… but maybe it does help to strengthen their connection juuuust a little bit eheh)

so yeah. lil bit of both worlds. and then ofc those initial strong feelings and big emotions simmer down and shes left with just genuine care and respect for this kid, stronger thaaaan ever :)

anyways here i drew a lil kitsune clover as well for you

the design isnt veeeery original ik but maybe ill detail them a lil more change some things. if i ever use this again. yknow how it is. HDKS

One of the more interesting things about Iruka is that he's one of our only adult characters who saw the fox attack up close. We're shown in chapter... 500 something that Kurenai, Gai, Kakashi and Asuma were already locked outside the barrier when the attack happened and were protesting this fact, trying to get in to help but Kurenai's dad told them that they weren't allowed to because they are the future of the village, confirming he [and everyone else helping out] knew he was likely going to die when he went back in

But Iruka wasn't outside of the barrier when the attack happened. He was inside, with his parents, and saw the destruction up close and personal. He was standing there with them when they were bruised and bloodied and only got away because they had a fellow shinobi yoink him off to safety

Most fics tend to have Kakashi in his ANBU gear involved with this attack but canonically he was just as helpless as everyone else and wasn't anywhere near the centre of all that death and destruction. Iruka knows Kurama in a way that Kakashi just doesn't -- it's like when you watch a Godzilla movie and there's people who see Godzilla's wrath from a distance but they don't have nearly the same level of trauma, PTSD or fear as the one's who were there up close when he went nuts

And yet. And yet! Iruka bears no ill feelings towards Naruto at all. Sure yeah the anime has a flashback scene where he initially struggles and gets advice from Kakashi but that's only in the anime - in the manga, there was no such scene at all and he got over any and all struggles largely by himself which is why him and Mizuki being this sort of parallel to one another is so interesting to me!

Iruka was willing to move past it to help Naruto but Mizuki could never fully let go of his anger and hatred towards the thing that killed his family

I have no real point for this post outside of the fact that I wish this angle of Iruka was explored more in fics, instead of 9/10 changing the canon to have Kakashi as his ANBU saviour. Those are cool and I like them but there is just something so juicy about how much their experiences of that event differ just for the fact that Kakashi and company were outside the barrier from the start and Iruka was not

He would have crazy PTSD fuelled nightmares I think :)
