not the zoey you wanted (five)
pairing: zach maclaren x female reader!
summary: you waited all weekend for your boyfriend, Zach, to call or text, anything, to explain why he had just went and ghosted you when you were supposed to go with him on a family ski trip to meet his parents, his sister Avery, and his cousin, Miles.
content warnings: angst; victims of catfishing; miscommunication trope

It was awkward, seeing Zoey walk into class late knowing she had been outside talking to your boyfriend. You couldn’t help but wonder, if he had met her in another situation, if they had gotten to talking at some other point, would he have still fallen for her? Even if he had his memories of you?
Perhaps that lingering question was the reason you were so irrationally upset at everything, including Zach. The insecurity underneath your consciousness telling you that maybe he would’ve found his way to her regardless. That maybe, if he was given the chance, he would still like her a whole lot more than he liked you.
It was a horrible way of thinking stemming from insecurity and jealousy, and you knew that, but what could you say? Insecurity was insecurity, right? She glanced over at you as she found her seat, and you continued typing away.
“Okay, what gives?” Bree whispered from next to you, your roommate raising an eyebrow up at you as she leaned over closer, following your eyesight. “Why are you two always looking at each other so weirdly?”
“What?” you asked, half-distracted by trying to type the words the professor was saying while also not breaking eye contact with Zoey. You wouldn’t be the one to look away embarrassed. You had nothing to be embarrassed about.
“You and Zoey Miller,” Bree whispered, making sure to keep her voice hushed so no one else in your row or near you could hear over the lecture down below. “It’s like since you got back from that ski trip that you’ve been super weird.”
Right, because you never told Bree you never went on the ski trip. She had gone on a weekend trip with her boyfriend, which worked out perfectly for you, since you got to wallow in the apartment thinking your boyfriend had ghosted you by your lonesome. By the time she had come back, you had already learned the truth about Zoey Miller’s catfish weekend with the MacLarens, and you didn’t feel like telling her.
Because telling her, telling anyone, made the situation feel more real than it already felt. And while you knew that Bree would validate your anger at Zoey and misplaced anger at Zach, you didn’t want to fuel the fire. You were trying your hardest to snuff it out since seeing Zach’s puppy dog face in the tutoring center every shift was killing you, knowing he was right there and not being able to talk to him. Or having things you wanted to tell him that you started writing a list in your notes app instead. And wondering if he had things he wanted to tell you, too.
Ugh, why couldn’t you just get over yourself and forgive him for falling for her already?
“No it hasn’t,” you denied, not even looking at Bree as your attention turned to your computer screen.
When class finally let out, you walked out with Bree, and you had a feeling she was going to bring it up again. But as you exited the building, waiting at the bottom of the steps parting the crowd of college students with his body, was Zach. He had his black puffy jacket on—it was pretty damn cold—and his hands stuffed in the pockets of the jacket. And there was just something about boys in black, about him in black, that always looked so damn cuddly to you.
Bree just nudged you enthusiastically, a smile on her face as she gently pushed you in the direction of your boyfriend once you two got to the bottom of the stairs, practically singing a “Hi Zach, bye Zach, byeeee love birds,” out before continuing on her way without you. Not wanting her to think your body language was weird—because it’s Bree, your roommate since freshman year and practically your best friend, and she will notice—you wrap an arm around one of his bent elbows as you two stood there, most of your peers who had parted for him like the Red Sea gone now.
Zach offered her a small smile, peering over his shoulder as she walked away to nod a hello and goodbye at her silently. When he turned back to you, he rose both eyebrows down at your hand that was looped through his arm, but then he flexed his arm against his side to keep you there when you moved to remove it.
“Hey, you,” he said with that gentle and slightly raspy affectionate voice of his, “you” usually being “baby” when he said it. He also had his shoulders dipped towards you, leaning his body towards yours so he can try and give you his undivided eye contact. “How was class?”
You almost wanted to laugh at how normal he was being, as if he was just a boyfriend waiting for his girlfriend outside of her class.
“What are you doing?” you asked him, unable to prevent the smile on your face from forming no matter how much you tried to make your lips dip downward.
“I’m saying ‘hey, you,’” he replied sarcastically, nodding his head back to indicate he was about to start walking.
You fall into step next to him on the path through one of the many green lawn courtyards of campus, thinking about how this very path and lawn was almost a catalyst for this whole thing. About two weeks ago, Zach kicked a soccer ball a little too hard, hurling it at Zoey Miller’s head.
Why couldn’t she have gotten amnesia from that instead?
You were mean for thinking that, weren’t you?
He kept your arm tucked and interlaced with his, a gentle pressure that you definitely could slip your arm out of if you tried, but you really did not want to.
“Does Bree not know?” he asked, looking straight ahead and not at you.
But you glanced up at him, looking at his perfect side profile.
“That we’re on a break?”
“Is that what we’re callin’ it?” he asked under his breath with a small scoff. “Thought you didn’t believe in breaks.”
“Well, what else would I call it? We’re not broken up,” you emphasize with a roll of your eyes.
“Good,” he said back, genuine relief behind the sigh that followed.
You two fall in silence, and you let him just guide the two of you around campus even though you didn’t have another class and his last class had already ended for the day.
His last class was just before he ran into Zoey Miller, and he was only walking on the path that led in front of that building to get a sight of you. And then he waited outside of it, just for you.
You bit the inside of your cheek as you contemplated asking him what he and Zoey had been talking about, but you were enjoying just walking next to him a little too much. Every time he was in front of you, you forgot that you were even upset. You forget about how you hearing him say that he felt a connection to her rung in your ears for days. You forget that how he said getting to know her felt really, really good.
But then you remember, when that pit in your stomach is gnawing at you for pushing him away like this, that when he’s gone you feel angry and insecure and jealous. You remember those words, letting him ring in your head all over, the look of disappointment when he was telling back the story, the look of confusion as he stared at you on his parents’ driveway.
“No, Bree doesn’t know,” you confirm.
“My sister says she wants to meet you even more now,” he said without missing a beat, as if he wasn’t buzzing with joy to know that you hadn’t told your best friend about all of this drama. He didn’t want to lose her good side, knowing that it would only make it that much harder to get you back fully.
“Why?”
“She says she knows she’d like you so much better,” he shrugged, a smile on his face as he leaned towards you with a cheeky smile, “I gotta say I agree.”
“Zach…” you tried to say in a warning tone, but it wasn’t as stern as the previous times you’ve said it. No, this time there’s amusement in your voice, unable to contain a serious look at the sight of his contagious smile and the soft way he spoke. You just shook your head at him, and nodded, “Yeah, I think she’d like me more, too.”
His small smile turned into a big one, beaming at your words as he let go of your arm, taking his out of his pocket. You immediately looked down at the lost of contact, but he wrapped his arm around your shoulders and tugged you into his side as you two walked.
“I think they’d all like you more,” he commented, heart racing when he doesn’t see you pull away or tell him to stop.
“Hopefully not Miles, though,” you chide.
He let out a scoffed laugh, shaking his head. “Low blow.”
“C’mon, two for two if he kisses both of your Zoey girlfriends, right?” you tried to joke, but his smile faded as you said it.
“Don’t say that,” he whispered, tugging you a little tighter, pulling the two of you over to a bench to sit at instead of walking aimlessly. “You’re not a Zoey girlfriend,” Zach said, rubbing your upper arm with his palm. “You’re my Y/N. And Miles is never going to kiss you.”
“Good, I don’t want him to,” you just laughed at his jealousy over a fake scenario.
He unwrapped his arm from yours, turning to face you and grabbing your waist to turn you to face him, until your knee hit his as you both sat next to each other on the bench. The playful air gone, his small smile replaced with a look of pleading, yet again.
“When are we going to be okay again?” he asked, putting both hands on your face, cupping your cheeks. “When are we going to be us again?”

AITA for choosing my cat over my trans friend?
Some background about my cat first.
I (25F) have a pet cat named Max (not real name. It would be too identifiable if I used his real name). Max is a rescue. He had been abandoned by his previous owner because he would meow too loudly. This had happened several times, so he has been in and out of the shelter a lot. None of the previous owners had tried to figure out why he always meows so loudly, so I took him to a vet. It turns out that Max is deaf, so I don't blame him for meowing so loudly. He can't hear himself! He is scared of strangers and tends to hide, so I don't try to force him to come out if he doesn't want to. I also don't usually take pictures of him because the cameras and phones scare him. I just do what I can to respect his boundaries. Max isn't just a cat to me. He is my treasured family who brings a smile to my face everyday. I can't imagine life without him.
My friend, Amelia (22F) is trans. Her folks are transphobic and were not accepting of her when they found out. However, they had not kicked her out of her home right away. They had given her a week to pack her things and find a place to stay. I'm not sure what they were trying to do with that but another friend, Nina (24F) thinks that they did that as a manipulation tactic to get Amelia to retransition and Amelia thinks so too.
But the week had passed and Amelia couldn't find a place to stay. Nina had said she would have offered, but she lives in a small apartment that hardly had enough room for two people. So Amelia had asked out friend Ted (26M) who had also said he couldn't because he was housing his younger siblings since their parents had passed and he was struggling financially.
So that left me. But Amelia said she wouldn't be able to stay unless I got rid of Max. Why? Amelia is highly allergic to cats. Whenever she had come over to my place in the past, she had to take allergy medicine to keep from having severe allergies around Max. The allergies are bad enough that they could trigger an asthmatic attack. I told her that I refuse to get rid of Max because of his past with being abandoned. I do not want to become one of the people he distrusts, not after it took so long to get him to feel comfortable around me.
Amelia is upset with me for this and says that she doesn't want to have to always take allergy medicine. She said that I should get rid of Max because he is just a cat and his needs are not as important as hers when she could become homeless soon. I argued that he wasn't just a cat and was part of my family. Max would be staying no matter what. Amelia ended up renting a motel room, but she couldn't afford to stay for more than 4 nights. Nina ended up taking her in, but that has made her own living situation harder.
Amelia and Nina are calling me an asshole for choosing Max over giving Amelia shelter. They are saying that I am being a horrible ally and friend by valuing an animal over a human life. I don't think I made the wrong choice by choosing Max, but it doesn't feel great that they are starting to tell some other friends that I am being transphobic for not choosing Amelia. A part of me is saying that I should have chosen Amelia, but that same part is also saying I would fee guilty for being one of the people to also abandon Max if I chose to do that. Amelia and Nina barely talk to me aside from saying that I am being a transphobic asshole for "choosing an animal over a trans person's livelihood." I am thinking about just cutting them off now, but I'm afraid that would just lead to more backlash.
AITA for choosing my cat over my trans friend?
What are these acronyms?

Girlllllll I'm literally obsessed with emt!Marauders. Could you maybe write one where the reader is at their apartment for dinner or something, and starts to have a panic attack, and thinks they're dying and gets the Marauders because they believe they're having a heart attack? Thanks :)
Thanks for requesting love!
cw: panic attack
emt!marauders x fem!reader ♡ 1.3k words
At first you mistake the pounding on the door for your heartbeat. It thunders in your chest, beating against your rib cage like it's vying for escape. But then the sound comes again, and you remember than you actually did go through with making the call.
You go to get the door, opening it to find a startlingly attractive paramedic wiping his shoes on your mat. Dark eyebrows rise, disappearing behind a mop of curly hair, when he sees you.
“You look a bit young for a heart attack,” he says.
“James, don’t fuck around.” Another man, taller, shoulders past him carrying a medical bag. “You called emergency services?” he asks you. You nod mutely, having discovered over the phone that talking only makes your chest hurt worse. “Alright, can we come in?”
You nod again, backing away from the door to give them room to enter. A third paramedic follows, immediately taking you by the elbow and guiding you over to your own couch. “Hi, doll, I’m Sirius. What’s your name?”
You wheeze out an answer, sitting when Sirius encourages you downward. He seems unperturbed by your agitated state, smiling as he crouches in front of you. Any other time, the effect would be heart-stopping. You wish it worked like that now.
“Y/n, do you have a family history of heart problems? Any pre-existing conditions?” You shake your head no to both, and he nods calmly. “Okay, but you think you’re having a heart attack, huh?”
You press a hand to your chest, tears invading your vision as the other paramedic—James, you’d heard him called—squats beside Sirius, looking at you concernedly.
“It hurts,” you croak out.
“Got it,” James reassures you. He passes a pair of gloves to Sirius, who begins wiggling them on. “When did it start to hurt? Did anything happen that might’ve caused it?”
“I don’t think so,” you shake your head. Your lungs feel like they could collapse in on themselves at any moment, but James holds your gaze, grounding you. “It just—I was making dinner, and it just started.”
“I understand,” he says, voice soothing. “Okay, I’m pretty sure I know what’s going on here. You’re having a panic attack, sweetheart.” You must look anguished at the lack of validation for your hurt, because James sets a gloved hand on your forearm, rubbing comfortingly. “It’s really scary, I know, but you’re not dying. We’re gonna get you feeling better, alright?”
You want to trust him, you really do, but everything in your body is contradicting him right now. You’re dying, you know it. You can feel it in your bones. A tear spills out of your eye.
“It’s all right,” he promises you. “Listen, this here is Remus, he’s going to help get you breathing a bit better for us, yeah?” The second paramedic, the one who’d come in with the bag, sits down on the couch beside you. He gives you a small smile, the myriad of small and large scars across his face shifting with the movement. James gives your arm a solid pat. You try not to jolt. “You’re in good hands, I promise.”
“Hi, are you comfortable?” Remus asks you. He has a gentle sort of voice, a bit raspy but soft where it counts.
You’re sitting with both feet flat on the floor, your hands in your lap like you’re a guest in someone else’s house. This all seems a bit more polite than you were expecting. It’s missing the urgency of blaring sirens and shouting voices you’d forced yourself to mentally prepare when you’d made the call for help. You feel horribly stiff, but you nod at Remus anyway, because you’re not sure comfortable is something you can find right now.
A small furrow appears between his brows. “Are you sure? You can sit however feels best for you, love, we’ll move around to accommodate you.”
You shift around awkwardly, bringing your feet onto the couch with your knees near your chest. Remus gives you a rewarding smile.
“Good, good. Okay, we’re just going to try to slow your breathing down a bit, yeah?” He takes your hand in his kindly, touching your palm to his chest. “It might be hard at first, but try to copy me, please.”
He inhales deeply, and you manage maybe half of what he does before the air comes whooshing back out of you. A sob works its way up in your chest. You don’t know how there’s still room for anything else in there.
“It’s okay, you’re fine,” Remus says. His thumb strokes over the back of your hand. “We just have to keep going, it’ll get easier.”
You want desperately for him to be right, and he is. You’re not sure how much time passes with Remus holding your hand to his chest, breathing for the both of you, but eventually you’re able to mimic him. He starts counting, four in, hold for four, and then four out, encouraging you every step of the way.
You feel a pressure on the inside of your wrist. You look down, but Remus catches your chin in his hand. “You’re all right, love, James is just getting your vitals. You’re doing so well, keep going.”
You do your best to keep focussed on him, ignoring the occasional prodding or the feel of cool metal against your back. The pain in your chest eases to a dull ache. Soon, you’re no longer straining to hear over the blood rushing past your ears.
“Alright.” Your concentration breaks at the sound of a voice to your left, and you look over to see Sirius coming through the door. You hadn’t realized he’d left. “We’re all set in the back, how are we doing in here?”
“Pretty good,” Remus says, giving your hand a kind squeeze before letting it drop from his chest. His voice takes on a wry quality as he turns to Sirius. “Could’ve been better if you hadn’t distracted her, but now I suppose we’ll never know.”
“Sorry.” Your voice sounds hoarse and torn up.
Remus looks at you with something close to alarm, but Sirius speaks before he can. “Oh, it’s nothing to do with you, dollface, he just likes giving me shit.” He steps forward, peering at you. “You look tons better. No gurney, then?”
“Don’t think so,” James says, and you look down to find him crouched at your side, draping a stethoscope back over his neck. “Heart rate’s coming down with breathing, and it doesn’t seem like anything else is amiss. Should be an easy ride.” He looks at you, warm brown eyes melting you like wax. “Think you can walk out to the ambulance, sweetheart?”
“I—sure, yeah.” You stand on shaky legs, and both Remus and James stand with you, hands hovering in case you need them. You feel so pathetically frail you almost want to laugh. “Um, why are we going to the ambulance?”
“We’re just going to bring you to the hospital to make sure there’s nothing else wrong,” Remus says. “It’s nothing to worry about, just precautionary stuff.”
“But I’m—I’m okay, right?”
“We think so,” James reassures you, taking your elbow to help you off the curb by the ambulance. “Do you not feel okay?”
“I feel better,” you say uncertainly. “It’s just…” You bring your hands up closer to your face. They’re trembling gently, just like the rest of you. “I can’t stop.”
“That’s totally normal,” Remus promises. James abandons your side to hop into the ambulance, reaching down to help you up, and Remus’ hands ghost over your waist as you clamber inside. He climbs up after you. “You might also have some muscle soreness, nausea, fatigue. It’s probably all just your body coming down from the attack, but you should still tell us, okay?”
“Okay,” you echo, nodding. “Yeah, I’m really tired.”
“That’s fine, sweetheart.” James rubs your shoulder warmly, encouraging you to sit on the gurney in the center of the ambulance. “You can take a little nap on the way if you gotta. I’ll wake you when we get there.”

I love you?| Tim Drake X Reader
Tim Drake X Reader
— How can you mourn someone you never truly knew?
AU: None Rating: SFW
Note: Check out this post for context! Tim is a bit of a stalker, but he always has been so its in character. ________________________________
The first thing Tim ever did after meeting you was run a background check.
It had become second nature at that point. A habit he picked up when he was younger that just stuck. Tim had an obsessive personality, so it was a natural habit- or maybe he forced this habit on himself. He's always been one to bite off more than he can chew and then force himself too sallow.
You checked all the boxes. Funny, beautiful, nice to be around, easy to get along with, clean background, you could handle yourself in a fight. You told him you took self defense classes which made sense in Gotham- and had a promising future. Everything a Wayne would be expected to look for in a partner.
It was a bonus that you had a crush on him. It made it easy.
Tim Drake, the smart and handsome boy in your class. It was natural that when he asked you to go out with him, you'd say yes.
Tim was a pretty calculated person, because of his... nighttime activities he had also gotten into the habit of never allowing much room for error. He planned ahead to even minor details.
It was because of all these things you and Tim began your relationship.
“We had a date… We’re are you?” Another reason you and Tim stayed together. You were unbelievably patient. He saw it when he came rushing into the nice restaurant he booked for the two of you- regular clothes and a hastily bought slightly ruined bouquet. All while you sat in a nice dress, a half eaten meal in front of you. You weren’t the type to blow up and get upset, you kept your feelings inside and that worked for him.
Funnily- err, no… horribly enough, Tim never told you why he was late for every other date. Instead he choose a simpler much easier route. “I’m sorry, I couldn’t find my keys.”
It worked because no matter how shallow or hard to believe the lies were… you took them. Took them and smiled while you tried to forget about it and enjoy the rest of the night with your boyfriend.
Often it felt like going through the motions with you. You’d smile and enjoy the time you spent with the boy and then wave him goodbye. Being with Tim… it felt so surface level. It felt lonely… Gifts were used as an excuse to not spend real… physical time with you. So, you’d just smile at the flowers you got at your door and the teddy bear, even if they were stereotypical nonpersonal things to give a partner.
While you didn’t know If you loved your own boyfriend, you knew you admired him. You admired how he kept himself in shape despite how busy he was, how he managed all his work with the side projects he kept up with- how he juggled his family. All of it. You admired how he seemed to work for what he had.
You admired how he always seemed so tired. Too tired to properly hide the aspects he didn't want you to see. But you chose to not see them. Not let him know you saw through it. Not giving anything away he didn't want.
Still, all those things kept him so… distant. Like a wall being put up in front of you, hiding him away.
Would it be clingy to tell him to call more?
He was already so busy; how did he juggle you with his life? It seemed hard. At times you thought he was cheating on you but with how public he and you were… it was a fleeting thought. Did Tim even enjoy the time you two did have together?
You’d often question your relationship with the Wayne boy.
You questioned a lot of things. Some you’d question only later. Later when you awoke from the coma that… that monster put you in.
But before that... before any of that. “Catwomen got your tongue?” You’d giggle and poke the boy's shoulder. He was definitely upset today; you'd blame the lack of sleep- he blames your curiosity. “Hey, talk to me..?”
“I’m sorry, I’m kind of busy right now.” He frowned slapping your hand your touch away and you could only pout to hide the hurt in your chest.
.
.
The first time Tim held you hand your cheeks hurt from smiling.
.
.
The worst part of everything to Tim. He didn't even know if he did love you.
There was exactly ten times Tim wished he told you it. Once he did, mostly to get you off his back. Did that make him a horrible person?
He liked you. He liked how easy you were. He liked how you trusted him. He liked how you let him lie to you. He liked how your felt against him, how you would get up to get him another energy drink instead of nagging him about his health. Not that you weren't concerned about the amount of caffeine he consumed you had been clear you were...
He liked when he was a little more careless, having you against him while he typed away on his computer. You holding his drink for him, head on his shoulder, just tired enough to not see what he was really working on. he thought at least... He liked having you against him when he got back... When he saw you again he liked having you around. He enjoyed feeling you against him, your skin on his... Hold you close and just... feel. Feel your body heat against his when he'd get back from patrolling those cold Gotham nights. Rip that same old suit off and climb into bed, embrace that skin to skin contact he so easily grew addicted too.
It was a funny joke with Gothamites that Tim Drake, the son of Bruce Wayne was a coffee addict. Tim had an obsessive personality, so it wasn't out of character. Every post with him in it had a mug, which never helped with the so-called rumors.
As he scrolled on his phone, he didn't even notice the mugs slowly disappearing. Instead, you were on his arm in every photo... Huh...
He didn't know if he loved you. He probably never would anymore... He probably didn't. I mean, what kind of man scrolls on his phone while holding the hand of their supposed lover? Especially when you were hooked up to wires...
But, it hurt too look at you. See you in that state. Not knowing if you'd wake up. The ache in his chest... It lessened when he adverted his eyes and stared at his phone.
If his touch was the sun, you were the earth. If he was your sun, that meant he failed you. When the sun combusts, the earth will die, and the sun combusted, broke under the pleasure.
He should've been a better boyfriend...
If he was, he would have at least known what kind of flowers to bring you...
Roses... felt too basic. To... impersonal.

One thing leads to another and one unforgettable night you two have sex.
Mikey doesn't call you or contact you after that, and you can take the hint that it didn't mean anything more than just a way to relieve stress.
That would be all fine and dandy if it weren't for the fact that you were puking your guts out and happened to be pregnant.
You can't depend on Mikey, you don't think he'll accept your child and you really don't want them involved in the underworld that Mikey controls.
So you move out of Tokyo to distant family in a different town. You get a job, have your wonderful child and live peacefully in a small town.
Four years down the road, you end up back in Tokyo with your daughter. You owed a friend a favor and you're not too worried.
Your Daughter might be Mikey's clone but Tokyo is a big city and he's a busy man. He must have had countless women before he's not going to recognize your face out of a million others. Plus its been years. You should be safe right?
Wrong. You wake up one morning and (D/N) is gone. You're frantic searching for her, so confused where she could have gone from your friends apartment when it hits you: The Park!
Sprinting over there you're met with a sight you never thought you'd see. Mikey holding your fidgeting daughter in his arms.
If not for the terrifying look in his eyes the scene is almost comical.
The two of them together look like a before and after picture because of how similar they are.
"Y/N, you wanna explain this?" he asks you, and you're more shocked he remembered your name than anything else.
You try to pull it together, you don't want to cause a scene in front of your daughter.
"Th-that's my daughter. She ran off this morning and I've been looking for her."
He tilts his head to the side while he looks you up and down, placing your little girl on his hip.
"Don't you mean our daughter?" there's something dark in his voice and down right malevolent in his eyes.
Panic rises in your chest and you look down at the ground. "I just...I wanted her to be safe. I-I didn't think you'd care."
Your sweet Daughter whimpers for you, not understanding who this strange man is or why he's making her mommy so upset.
"You thought I wouldn't acknowledge my own child? Am I that kind of man to you?"
Silence stretches between you before you finally get the courage to say; "How did you even find us?"
Mikey just stares and holds your girl close before answering; "I heard you were in town. I came looking for you, and found her. Guess this is fate."
What you didn't know was that Mikey did want you, he wanted you so bad it almost drove him crazy. He tried to keep his distance and ignore you, and just when he can't take it anymore he finds out you moved away?
That's fine. It wasn't meant to be. But he had eyes and ears out for you if you ever came back to him. If you willingly walked back into the lions den that must mean you want him to have you.
He hears your back, with a daughter, and that's not a problem. If you have a husband he'll make sure you don't anymore and he doesn't mind a brat, you'll give him some of his own and that will make up for it.
So he goes looking for you, and he's almost to the apartments he knows you're staying at when a little girl catches his eyes. For a second he thought he hallucinated a mirror, but no staring up at him is his own face.
In his heart he knows who this girl is. And he's mystified when she starts talking to him.
"How come the sun's so bright?" she asks him for whatever insane reason.
And the empty abyss in his chest is suddenly full of love and affection. She's perfect. He had a perfect daughter now. Mikey embraces and tells her as much. That she's wonderful and beautiful and so loved.
Then you come sprinting towards them and Mikey suddenly remembers you kept her from him.
Back to the present, he thinks if this had been anyone else he would have killed them. But its you. And thankfully you raised the perfect child and gave him a healthy daughter, so he can't be too mad. He'll take it out on some underlings that left out very important details...
"I'll take responsibility," he tell you grabbing you by the wrist and pulling you so you're face to face, "And you will too, Y/N. We're gonna raise a very happy family. And you're going to give me a very big one. Lots of kids." one for every person he's ever lost.

✧Author Note✧ so while I am visiting family and working on my Stevie series and a few other things I thought I would give you these two because if I don’t get this out my drafts I’ll scream.
You should’ve known better than to attend these parties. Ransom’s parties never ended well for anyone but it had been so long and you wanted to let your hair down, have some fun.
Maybe you should’ve stopped after the first drink you were given had you buzzed but you always were a glutton for punishment so you went back for a second and a third. Now you were tipsy, heels discarded in the corner of the room somewhere and desperately horny. The only issue was your boyfriend was nowhere to be seen.
You checked the kitchen, living room, outside — he was nowhere. Eventually you stumbled upstairs, a cacophony of wet skin and sharp moans reaching you. Couples sneaking off to fuck was normal for these things but for some reason, a feeling deep within your gut made you feel like you had to investigate.
The door to the room was ajar, all it took was a soft shove for it to open fully. What you didn’t expect was the scene in front of you. Your jaw dropped to the floor at the sight, your boyfriend lying on his back while some drunk slut rode him to filth. All at once the wall protecting your mind from registering the scene crumbled, a slew of emotions bursting forth like water from a dam. You felt sick, the alcohol in your stomach threatening to bubble back up your throat.
“Ohh fu—baby?” Your boyfriend turned noticing you were there. At the mention of the pet name he so endearingly called you, you gagged, tears springing into your eyes. Turning on your heel before he could wiggle out of his compromised position, you sprinted out of the room, to the only place you knew would be vacant.
Ransom’s room was huge. It was a lot less colourful than what you could remember, had it really been that long since you’d been in here? Surely not, that meant you’d been avoiding Ran for longer than you thought. It was all thanks to your now ex boyfriend.
Ransom had been your best friend for as long as you could remember, he was a few years older than you and treated you like shit sometimes but thanks to a horrible upbringing and not knowing any better you found his treatment loving and developed a little crush on the brunette in your teenage years. After you made it official with your boyfriend he forced you to cut ties with any person he saw as a threat, that included Ransom.
You sank onto the bed, curling into a little ball as you sobbed, uncaring of mascara streaks running down your face. Your night was ruined anyway.
Lloyd watched as you stepped up the stairs, following behind with a fair distance as to not arouse suspicion. He watched as you caught your boyfriend fucking another girl, watched as you stumbled your way out of the room and into Ransom’s. He knew then that you were ripe for picking.
Lloyd had his eye on you for a while. You were cute, and completely stupid in his eyes. You trusted everyone and anything to come from their mouths without so much as a second thought.
You ignored the soft squeak of Ransom’s door, choosing instead to bury yourself into the musk of his sheets. Your earlier horniness flaring up again at the scent of another man. You felt disgusted by just how easily you soaked yourself.
“Cupcakeee” he sang, the hairs on the back of your neck stood on end. If there was one person worse than your boyfriend or Ransom Drysdale it was him. Lloyd Hansen. You’d spoken to him a few times but he was very handsy and said things that would have an incubus curling away in disgust.
You’d met him at the start of your night, his hands on your hips and dancing to the music while you tried desperately to push yourself away from him. He let you go with a laugh but kept a close eye on you until now.
He was the last person you wanted to speak to but he’s was hard to get rid of.
“Lloyd” you spoke bitterly, voice a little raspy. You sat up on the bed, avoiding his strong gaze.
“Why the tears pumpkin? Are you not enjoying yourself?” He smiled wickedly, you could tell that he knew why. When he tried to push a strand of your hair away from your face you smacked his hand away.
“Wow feisty” he laughed and you scoffed.
“Leave me alone Lloyd.”
He cleared his throat, squatting down in front of you. Those tight white pants stretching impossibly against his thick thighs. His ringed fingers splayed over your thighs, his chin resting on your knees.
“Hey now I’m just tryna help, that’s no way to treat someone tryna help you sugar” he sounded almost sad but his face shone with a smugness only he was capable of.
“That boyfriend of yours away fucking other women huh?” He questioned, turning his head to rest his cheek against your knee bone instead. His hands squished the fat of your thighs a little hard but not enough to cause any searing pain. The tips of fingers danced over the hem of your too short dress.
From this angle Lloyd could see straight up the skirt, getting an eyeful of those pretty baby pink panties. Ones he’d caught you in before, his favourite pair ever since. His tongue darts out to wet his lips, he wanted nothing more than to taste that sweet cunt but he had to play this tactically.
“You wanna talk about it princess?” He says, distracting you from his wandering hands as they inched up under your dress.
“Stop Lloyd” you warned, gripping at his forearms. You felt weak, embarrassingly so, you knew for a fact you were so much stronger than this. Your brain felt foggy, your words slurring. Then it clicked. Lloyd smiled dangerously.
“Come on Crumbcake, let me make you feel good.”
All it took was a small shove for you to flop back onto the bed, your world spinning as you stared up at the ceiling. You protested as he bunched your dress up at your hips but you couldn’t fight.
“Fuck look at these beautiful panties, all pink and pretty, just like you huh cupcake?” his lips kissed down your inner thigh. Your hands felt heavy, you wanted to push his head away but the hot feeling his mouth left was too inviting.
He stopped his kisses as he reached your panties, taking in the dark patch you’d made, he almost moaned aloud at the sight. He leaned forward, pushing his face into the material and sniffed harshly, his eyes rolling into the back of his head at your scent, a groan tumbling from his mouth. His teeth sank into the fabric, your taste sweet on the tip of his tongue. He felt like he was going to bust and he hadn’t even seen your pussy yet.
“Starting without me Lloyd?” You perked up at the new voice — new but oh so familiar.
Lloyd sighed as he let go of the fabric, turning to the man closing the door with a glare.
“No” he spat “just having a look.”
“That’s starting without me” the voice returned.
“Oh piss off Ransom.”
That’s who it was, relief pooling in your veins as you recognised him. Maybe he’d come to help you, whisk you away from the madman between your legs.
You wet your dry lips, sucking in a few breaths before trying to speak. Your jaw felt so heavy.
“R-Ran” you slurred. When you tried to raise your head you couldn’t. You let out a frustrated moan.
“Hey pretty girl” Ransom cooed, crawling onto the bed until he was in your line of sight. His hand brushed over your cheek softly, the feeling so comforting compared to the tingles all over your body. You smiled up at him, small tears falling from your eyes. Your saviour.
“H-help” you whispered. Your fingers twitched but you couldn’t reach out to him. Ran shushed you gently, murmuring comforting words that only he knew. Words from when you were both children and you hurt yourself playing with the bigger boys.
“It’s gonna be ok pretty girl, Lloyd just needs one little thing” and like that your world crumbled. Ransom wasn’t your saviour, he was here to help the beast that currently sucked dark marks over your skin.
“R-Ran no please” you sobbed, your lips wobbling as your vision blurred with fat tears. This time Ransom’s comfort did nothing but make you feel worse. He tried his best to calm you down but to no avail.
You yelled weakly at the painful reminder of just who else was there shot from your thigh. Lloyd bit the sensitive skin until he tasted copper.
“I don’t have all day,” he grunted. Ransom sighed, moving off the bed and away from you. Lloyd took his place behind you, gathering your almost limp body into his arms and pulling you into his chest, his thighs on either side of yours as he leaned back against the headboard.
At this new angle you could see Ransom at the foot of the bed, his phone in his hand. You gulped the thick slew of emotions ranging from disgust to terror down.
“Here’s the thing pumpkin” Lloyd growled in your ear, his hands ripping the top part of your dress until your breasts spilled from the fabric.
“Your little boyfriend fucked up tonight in more ways than one, he owes me and Rannie here a whole lot of money…so you sugar, you’re gonna be our little payback alright? Don’t worry though I won’t hurt you too much, especially not if you do as I say. So just relax, you never know…you might enjoy it too.”
Lloyd’s hands explored your body, one hand grasping at one of your tits while the other wandered down your body until it slipped into your panties. You shut your eyes, trying to hide the fact that his fingers circling your clit felt good. The snap of your panties waistband had you whimpering, the fabric falling until your sopping cunt was exposed to both men.
The flash of Ransom’s phone almost blinded you. He shuffled forward, pointing the camera at your pussy. Lloyd chuckled as his fingers slipped through your folds, completely soaked by the time they reached your clit.
“Fuck cupcake you’re enjoying this ain’t you? Bet you like having that pretty pussy filmed, is that why you’re so wet? Or is it because I’m the one touching it? Or maybe” his nose bumped the side of your head as he leaned down to whisper in your ear.
“Maybe it’s because of Rannie, is that it pudding? Are you soaked because your little crush is watching you?”
You tried to shake your head at it all. It was none of them, it wasn’t Lloyd, it wasn’t Ransom and it wasn’t the camera. So what was it then?
The stretching of your pussy around Lloyd’s fingers caught you off guard, a painfully pleasured moan escaping you before you could bite it back. Lloyd smirked at your unravelling. His fingers fucked you quickly, the heel of his palm grinding against your swollen clit.
“Fuck that little pussy is singing for me, listen to that Ran, thought you didn’t want this hm? If you didn’t want this then why is your pussy fucking soaked” he spat, his fingers pulling out of you to land a harsh smack against your pussy causing you to shudder. You didn’t have any time to relax from the pain before three of his ringed fingers were back inside you, spreading you out like you never felt before.
You whined in protest as your stomach coiled, ropes of pleasure bundling together almost painfully.
“Ohh look at that, you gonna cum? Such a pathetic whiny slut, putting up a big fight but she’s gonna cum over my fucking fingers. Let go cupcake, cum, soak me—do it” he demanded, the sharp tone to his words capturing you and dragging you down to the pits.
You heard a pitiful squeal, you think it was from you. Your eyes squeezed shut as your pussy gushed over Lloyd’s fingers, almost soaking Ransom and his phone. Lloyd didn’t stop until he knew you were done, that your body had spent all of its juices. His fingers slipped from you, all connected with strings of your cum.
He smeared his hand over your face before capturing your unresponsive lips in a bruising kiss, his tongue lashing with yours and his teeth biting your lips.
“Let’s see how your little boyfriend responds to that shall we?” Lloyd speaks with a cheery lilt.
“But while we wait, let’s let Rannie get a taste of that pussy ok?” He turned your face to meet his gaze. You couldn’t respond, only letting out a soft grunt.
“Good girl.”

General Writings Masterlist
Humans were curious. The more time you spent with them, the more you couldn’t understand why your father loved them so much. However, one human was beginning to pique your interest. His name was Sam Winchester.
Your brother Castiel had been charged with rescuing Sam’s brother, Dean, from Hell. However, Zachariah had not given the word to begin the mission just yet. You, though, were charged with the care of Sam Winchester.
He became interesting for a number of reasons. The Winchester boys had been of special interest to all of Heaven since their mother died in Azazel’s attack. You’d known of his existence and watched from afar as the sweet, intelligent young man became a cold shell of who he once was while his brother suffered in Hell. The demon Ruby— who you would be sure to kill as soon as you could get your hands on her— had been getting Sam addicted to the potent substance that was demon’s blood. If you had to compare it to a human drug, you’d heard many angels say it felt like a heroin addiction.
Despite your disinterest in most of humanity, you were more compassionate toward them than most of your brothers and sisters. While some, like Uriel, were ruthless in their method to get humans on their side, you always took a more “humane” approach. No matter how many times humanity had broken your heart through their horrible mistakes leading to death and destruction, you still tried to show each human compassion.
You watched from afar as Sam began to learn to exorcize demons with his mind. The experience was undoubtedly painful, and your anger with Ruby grew with each passing day. Always keeping your distance, though, because you knew now was not the right time to step in. Zachariah would give you the word when it was.
You followed Sam down a darkened, busy street, keeping just far enough back that he wouldn’t be able to see you. He turned the corner onto what you assumed was another street, and you foolishly followed. Suddenly, you were pinned to the wall with a demon’s knife at your throat and an angry Sam staring down at you.
“Who the hell are you?” the man spat, pressing the tip of the weapon into your throat forcefully. “Why are you following me?”
“Hello, Sam,” you said calmly. “My name is (Y/N). I’m here to help you.”
He scoffed. “What? Another demon coming to peddle your wares? I don’t think so.” The brunet stepped away from you and tried to exorcize you with his powers.
You just remained still, large doe-eyes looking at him with a small smile playing on your lips.
Sam then appeared scared. “What— What are you?”
“I’m an angel,” you replied evenly.
He laughed. “Right. C’mon, what are you really?”
You unfurled your large, beautiful wings and called upon a clap of thunder to ensure the shadow would be cast on the wall behind you. “I told you. I’m an angel.”
Sam shook his head. “I don’t believe this.”
“What’s wrong?” you asked. “Why are you angry?”
He spun around to face you. “Why am I angry? My brother’s been dragged to Hell, and you’re asking me why I’m angry?”
You continued to look at him in confusion.
“I prayed. Every day for the last year Dean was alive. Why didn’t one of you answer?” he finished.
“It wasn’t the right time,” you explained. “Father wouldn’t allow us.”
“Well, fuck all of you guys, then,” Sam spat.
You were intrigued and confused by his intense anger. “Your prayers are being answered now. Isn’t that all that matters?”
“Too little, too late,” he replied. “Now, leave me alone.”
You stared after him as he walked away. Didn’t he want your help? Why was he angry at you when you were simply obeying your father? His prayers were being answered, and he was cruel to you.
That should have enraged you. However, it only intrigued you even more.
***
You knew Sam had not told Ruby he’d seen you, which surprised you. Everything about this man was surprising you.
While his addiction to demon blood was horrific and disgusting to you, you were surprised how much… empathy, you believed the feeling was— you were starting to feel for him. He’d undoubtedly been manipulated by the demon into that state of being.
His incredible strength both physically and mentally was impressive. While he wouldn’t last a moment in a fight with you or any of your brothers and sisters, he was skilled in many different athletic pursuits. His interest in different philosophies was curious to you as well; most humans you'd come across were set in their ways with no interest in different points of view.
After your last conversation with him, you decided not to intervene unless he desperately needed you. And now, he desperately needed you.
Ruby had either knowingly or unknowingly sent him into a death trap. While Ruby conveyed she believed only two demons to be hiding in a warehouse, an entire lair of at least thirty laid in wait for the young man. You knew you’d have to get involved this time, no matter if Zachariah approved or not.
You watched from the skylights of the darkened warehouse as Sam crept around with Ruby following closely behind. Your father willing, you’d slit her throat with her own knife.
You could see the other demons beginning to creep in around Ruby and Sam. Sam was the first to notice something was wrong and spun around to face the demons behind Ruby.
You used your powers to appear behind a wire rack covered with boxes to have the element of surprise with the demons.
“Hey there, handsome,” one of the demons was telling Sam.
Another snarled, “And Ruby. I thought Lilith got rid of you.”
“Apparently, she didn’t do a very good job,” replied Ruby.
The demons had Sam and Ruby back to back as they closed in their circle around the two.
Taking out your blade, you stepped out into the dim light, heels clicking across the floor. All of the demons turned around to face you, as did Sam and Ruby.
“Wow, Ruby. Seriously? You’re working with an angel?” a demon snickered.
You didn’t allow any of the demons a chance to get another word in. You appeared behind the demon who had the nerve to speak up and plunged your blade through its vessel’s back.
A few of the demons tried to escape by fleeing their bodies, but you forced them back in. While you were compassionate, merciful would not be a word used to describe you. When you were crossed, you didn’t play nicely.
A few demons tried to charge you, and you immediately reached out to two, grabbed their hands, and killed them while you used your free arm to plunge your blade through the other’s chest. With, in all honesty, very little effort, you managed to make your way through most of the demons. With the mess of dead bodies sprawled across the concrete floor, it made it easier to see what was left for you to deal with. That was when you noticed Ruby was gone, but Sam was still there, fighting demons with his demon knife.
A demon behind Sam was preparing to stab him in the back, but you threw your angel blade through the demon’s throat just in time to save Sam.
Slowly but surely, you made your way through the remaining demons. Sam panted from exhaustion and the few wounds he’d sustained but still stood with his shoulders squared. “I didn’t need saving,” he huffed.
“I don’t mean to offend you, but yes, you did,” you replied evenly. “I will admit, I’m disappointed your demon friend left so soon. I was looking forward to formally introducing myself.”
Sam laughed, somewhere between mocking and a genuine laugh. “You were gonna kill her, weren’t you?”
“Without hesitation,” you nodded. “I know what she’s been doing, Sam. I know what you’ve been doing.”
“I really don’t think that’s any of your business,” he said, his voice cold.
“It is my business.”
“How?”
“Angels are only sent to earth for their missions; unless they’ve fallen,” you explained. “Like I told you before, you’re my mission.”
“And like I told you,” he sneered, “not interested.”
“I don’t understand,” you stated. “Isn’t this what you wanted? I’m answering your prayer. I thought you’d be happy.”
“I told you; too little, too late—!”
“I’m not talking about the prayers for your brother anymore, Sam,” you cut him off. “I’m talking about your prayers for yourself.”
That seemed to quiet him down.
“I heard you. The first night you drank demon’s blood, you prayed. That was when I was assigned to you,” you told him. “Some of the angels believed you were too far gone. I, however, was the one to ask my superior if I could help you.”
Tears welled in Sam’s eyes. “Why would you do that? Why wouldn’t you save Dean?”
“I wanted to,” you admitted, not quite understanding why you were spilling your secrets to a human.
He got angry again. “Why didn't you?!”
You tilted your head, eyebrows furrowing. “It is not my place to question my superiors. I serve Heaven first; not you.”
“Well, find some other way to serve Heaven. I’m not interested,” he grumbled, turning away. You noticed how painfully he rolled his shoulder.
“I can fix that for you,” you said, stopping him in his tracks.
“What?” Sam turned back around.
“Your arm.” You nodded in its direction. “And those gashes. They look like they’ll get infected if you don’t let me help you.” You stepped toward him, and he remained still.
His impressive stature was incredibly intimidating to you despite your angelic status. You had never felt such a feeling; only when you were in the presence of the archangels. Whatever this feeling was, you didn’t think you liked it.
“May I?” you asked, hesitantly reaching your fingers out toward his arm.
Sam nodded, face drawn into hard lines.
You closed your eyes as you touched his shoulder to concentrate on sending your healing powers through his body. You didn’t miss the way his muscles tensed momentarily before relaxing under your touch.
“Thank you,” he said.
You nodded.
Sam hesitated for a moment before asking, “ What’d you say your name was?”
“(Y/N),” you responded.
***
You watched through the window of the cabin he was hiding in as Sam fought with Ruby over you. You expected Ruby to be angry, but you didn’t expect Sam to defend you.
“She’s an angel, Ruby, she’s not here to hurt me,” Sam said, crossing his arms over his chest.
“You don’t know angels, Sam. I do. They’re not the peaceful hippies the Bible makes them out to be,” Ruby snapped. “If she knew I was helping you, she’d probably smite me.”
“She does know,” Sam replied, almost too quietly for even your enhanced hearing.
“What?! You told her?!”
“No, I didn’t, I—” Sam cut himself off, running a hand through his hair in frustration. “She just knew, somehow.”
Ruby clearly didn’t believe him. “Somehow,” she scoffed. “And somehow, I don’t believe you.”
“Whatever,” Sam huffed. He suddenly caught your eye in the window but covered it up by quickly looking back to Ruby. “I think you should go.”
She crossed her arms. “Seriously?” The demon rolled her eyes and began to walk toward the door. “Goodbye, Sam.”
You invited yourself into the room. “Is she gone?” you asked Sam, appearing in front of him.
“Yeah,” he said. “Yeah, she’s gone.”
“Your motivations confuse me, Sam Winchester,” you stated bluntly.
He seemed to chuckle genuinely. “Why?”
“Do you not believe Ruby to be helping you? It seemed you couldn’t stand the sight of me less than twenty-four hours ago. Why would you kick her out after all that and cover for me?” you asked, head tilting in confusion.
You knew you weren’t supposed to question. You knew Sam was simply an assignment; there should be no desire for further questions exchanged. However, a nagging force in the back of your mind refused to let those questions remain internal.
“I don’t know,” he responded, seemingly earnest.
Suddenly, a song began to play in the background. Your head turned to the source of the sound; a peculiar little box with a spinning disc on top of it. You swayed to the soft music emanating from it. “What is this?” you asked.
“Music,” Sam replied from behind you.
You turned to face him. “I know what music is, Sam. What is the little box?”
“A record player,” he replied, much closer to you than he had been when you first turned to the sound of the music.
“And what is this song?” you asked, dewey eyes shining in the dim light.
“Uh, one of the records they had in this old cabin. I think the band’s The Five Satins. ‘In the Still of the Night’,” he explained.
“I think I like this song,” you said, your voice taking on a peculiar lilt you’d never heard yourself speak with before. You suddenly realized how close Sam was to you and backed away. “Well, if you need anything,” you began, “I am never far from you.” And with that, you were gone.
***
“(Y/N)?” you heard Sam praying. “(Y/N), uh, I don’t know if you’re listening—”
With a quick flap of your wings, you appeared in front of Sam in his cabin. “I am,” you replied.
“Oh, hey,” he snorted. He sat on the edge of his bed, rubbing his hands together and staring at the floor.
“What’s wrong?” you asked.
“I don’t know what the right thing to do anymore is,” he admitted. Sam was suddenly embarrassed by what he’d said. “Uh, I don’t know why I said that…”
“Do not be embarrassed. I do not pass judgment on humans for their feelings,” you replied.
That pulled a small smile from him. “Do you guys… not have feelings?”
“No,” you replied. “At least, I don’t think we do. Or, perhaps, what we experience as angels is too complex to be simplified into human emotion.”
“What do you mean?” he asked.
“I believe I may experience compassion, but I am not merciful. Those two traits I have seen go together in human manifestations. My loyalty to my father is incomparable to any human form of loyalty. Most humans I have come across sacrifice their loyalties quite easily,” you explained thoughtfully.
“And by your father, you mean, God?” he asked.
You nodded.
Sam hesitated before asking his next question. “What’s he like?”
His question caught you off-guard; it wasn’t something you’d thought about before. “Well, humans describe him as—”
Sam shook his head. “I know what people make him out to be. What do you say?”
That question startled you even more, and all you could answer with was the truth. “I haven’t met him.”
Now, it was Sam’s turn to be caught off-guard. “Really?”
You nodded. “I’ve been around just about as long as the planet, and I’ve never met him once.”
Sam considered for a moment. “And you’re still loyal to him?”
“Well, I don’t necessarily have a choice in that matter,” you replied. “I am an angel. I was created for the purpose of my loyalty to my father and carrying out his missions.” His questions were beginning to get under your skin, and you’d never thought so long about those things before.
“Well, how do you know your orders come from him if you’ve never met the guy?” Sam continued to press. “How do you know somebody’s not lying to—”
“My brothers and sisters would never lie to me,” you cut him off. Perhaps this is what “offense” felt like? “I don’t believe lying to be something we are capable of.”
Sam took a deep breath and flexed his eyebrows. “Whoa, didn’t mean to strike a nerve, there.”
He did. “You didn’t,” you responded.
A spell of silence was cast over you.
“What’s it like?” Sam asked.
You tilted your head in confusion.
“That blind faith,” he embellished. “How do you do it?”
You shook your head. “I don’t know. I just always have. I am a Seraph; I believe ‘blind faith’ is my purpose.”
“Oh, seraphim’s a real thing? Are you guys the, uh, high-rankers?”
You nodded. “I don’t think of myself in terms of my rank, but I am superior to those in my garrison. My superior is Zachariah; the only one of us in direct communication with the archangels.” You felt yourself snap out of it. “I… don’t know why I told you that.”
“Well, I guess we’re even then,” Sam smiled.
***
You began to see less and less of Ruby as days went by, and for that, you were grateful. It seemed she was only around for Sam to feed from her.
“What does she say the demon blood will do for you?” you asked Sam, sitting beside him on the edge of the cabin’s roof.
Sam gave you a curious look but answered your question anyway. “It’ll make me strong enough to kill Lilith.”
“And… why do you want to do that?” you asked trepidatiously.
He answered your question quite blankly, staring ahead. “Revenge. For my brother.”
You nodded. “And what do you believe getting revenge will do for you?”
That seemed to challenge him. “I don’t know.”
“I have been with you since you were young, Sam. I watched you go off to college, I watched Azazel kill Jessica, and I watched every fight between you and your father.”
Sam turned his head toward you as you talked, a pensive look on his face.
“And I think I decided that all of those fights between you two happened because of how similar the two of you are.” You turned your head toward him, the sunset casting a heavenly glow across Sam’s face. “This is one of those things you two have in common; vengeance. I cannot decide if that’s a good or a bad quality, if I’m honest.”
Sam huffed out a small laugh. “That’s fair.” His hair fell in front of his eyes as he looked down at his hands folded in his lap. His eyebrows drew together, and you just watched him carefully. “You’ve never wanted payback? Not even once?”
You shook your head. “That’s not part of my job. I am a warrior, but I don’t feel emotional attachment to my fights. And, rationally, I know revenge is pointless. It doesn’t change the past. It can only make for a worse future.”
Sam was silent for a moment. “Wow. For a… shiny, hard, plastic, emotionless angel, that’s pretty profound.”
You tilted your head in confusion. “I am not plastic or shiny.”
He laughed. “No, you’re not. Just an analogy.”
“You humans and your words,” you sighed. “The English language is by far the most confusing.”
“Why do you say that?” Sam chuckled.
“I speak every language ever created, Sam,” you explained. “Even Enochian is simpler than English.”
The young man laughed. “For an angel, you’ve got a good sense of humor.”
You tilted your head. “I didn’t know I did, but thank you.”
***
It had been about three months since Dean’s sentencing. The angels began to talk about how he’d said “yes” to Alistair and was beginning to torture other souls in the pit. However, you knew it was best not to bring that fact up to Sam.
The brother in your care was still not doing very well. His addiction was getting worse, and his anger at himself for not being strong enough to take care of his most recent demon hunt. You watched through the window as Sam and Ruby shouted at each other, and their anger eventually devolved into Ruby kissing Sam.
You were stunned, and something you’d never felt before flooded your chest. Whatever this feeling was, you hated it. You backed away from the window you’d become accustomed to staring through and walked off. You felt your vessel stumbling rather than walking, and you were unsure why your chest hurt. You stumbled through the night forward against a tree and held yourself there.
Whatever was happening to you, one thing was for sure that you could no longer deny: you were beginning to feel.
***
A few days went by, and you hadn’t seen Sam. In fact, you refused to answer his many prayers. He begged you to come to him and told you he didn’t know what he’d done wrong. Eventually, your resolve broke.
“Hey,” he said, standing from his chair and seeming startled by your appearance. “Wh— Where’d you go? Why didn’t you answer?”
“Why did you have sex with Ruby? Didn’t you know I was watching?” you asked, large eyes holding a pleading innocence.
Sam seemed caught off-guard. “(Y/N), I haven’t had sex with her in weeks. Wh— Why do you care about that, anyway?”
“I saw you two. She kissed you. I know what comes after that, Sam, I’ve been around for thousands of years,” you continued.
Sam shook his head. “She kissed me. And then, I pushed her off. I haven’t seen her since.”
You tilted your head. “Why did you do that?”
“ ‘Cause. I couldn’t do it,” he shrugged.
“Why?”
“ I’m not into voyeurism,” he smirked. “I knew you were watching. I haven’t had sex with her since you showed up.”
You thought for a moment, realizing he was telling the truth. “Oh.” Was this feeling… relief?
Sam gave you a curious look, and you averted his gaze. “Why’d you wanna know?”
You shook your head. “Not important. How have you been these last few days?”
“Honestly?” He scratched the back of his neck. “Not good. The addiction… it’s, uh—”
“Bad?” you asked.
“That’s putting it lightly.”
“I’m sorry,” you told him.
“ ‘S not your fault,” Sam shrugged.
“That is much different from what you told me when we first met,” you said.
Sam snorted. “Yeah, I was angry then. Now, I know you.”
Your heart fluttered in your chest, and you were surprised at the feeling.
***
You hummed the tune of “In the Still of the Night” by the Five Satins, a song that Sam had introduced to you.
The man in question sat at the cabin’s kitchen table hunched over his laptop. Sam had suggested you come inside with him since you’d be keeping an eye on him anyway. You told him if Ruby came, you’d kill her, but he just shook his head. “If she knows you’re here, she’s not coming,” he’d told you.
“You’ve got a pretty voice,” Sam commented.
You stopped humming. “Thank you. When the cherubs in my garrison were young, they liked when I’d sing to them.” You resumed your song.
A few minutes went by before Sam spoke up. “Can I ask you something?”
You stopped humming again and nodded.
“Why haven’t you gone after Ruby yet?”
Before you could think, you answered, “Because I knew it would upset you.”
A small smile tugged at the corners of Sam’s lips. “I appreciate that.”
You smiled in response.
“That’s the first time I’ve seen you smile,” Sam told you.
You continued to stare at him with your dewey doe eyes.
“Can I ask you something else?”
You nodded again.
“Whose body are you in?” he asked.
You hummed as you thought. “I’ve been with her for centuries. She was being abused by her husband and begging for a way out. You see, angels have to get consent from their vessels. She wanted me to use her body to carry out my father’s mission.”
Sam nodded.
“I quite enjoyed her company,” you continued. “I’ve never told any of my brothers or sister about this, but the day her soul moved on was the first time I ever felt something like… sadness.”
“So, angels, is it like demons where the vessel’s soul takes a back seat?” Sam questioned, his interest seeming very genuine.
You shook your head. “Not with her, it wasn’t. She could force me out whenever she wanted, but she told me she preferred my company to that of her husband’s.”
Sam nodded but seemed pensive.
“What’s wrong?” you asked.
“Nothing,” he replied. “It’s just… It’s a lot to take in.”
“I can understand that.” You paused for a moment. “I don’t think I’ve ever spent this long in the company of a human; aside from my vessel.”
“Really?” Sam asked.
You nodded. “I was taught not to spend time with the humans I was charged with. We were always told that the more time you spend with them, the more you become like them. And if you’re a human, you are flawed. You can’t truly live in service of my father while human.”
“That sounds kinda fucked up though, (Y/N),” Sam told you. “I mean, don’t you think it’s… restrictive? Limiting?”
You considered. “I guess so. But… I’m sure my father had good reason. He wouldn’t try to hurt us.”
“I don’t think he would, either,” Sam told you. “But I do think he did that for self-serving reasons.”
You stared at him, waiting for him to elaborate.
“He creates these… beings— you and the other angels— to bend to his every whim. Think about it. He makes you emotionless, so you don’t question his ‘will’ or… rebel,” Sam explained. “He needs you to be perfectly loyal.”
Sam’s words swirled around in your head. “You’re confusing me,” you said, breath quickening.
Sam shook his head. “I’m not trying to. But you’re smart. I’m just trying to make you think.”
“No human has ever challenged me the way you have,” you responded. “I appreciate it.”
“You do?” He seemed genuinely surprised.
You nodded. “I’ve been around a very long time. Things can get monotonous. It is… refreshing to meet someone like you.”
The corners of Sam’s lips turned upward.
The two of you went back to silence, and suddenly, Sam was up and running to the bathroom.
“Sam?” you asked, running after him.
When you got to him, he was hunched over the toilet bowl vomiting.
Hesitantly, you reached toward him and began to rub small circles over his back. You remembered your vessel telling you that’s what she’d do to her children when they were sick.
“It’s okay,” you said softly. “I’m here.”
When Sam was done, he slumped to the floor, curling up into a ball. Sweat covered every inch of his body, and he began to shake feverishly.
You knew it was the withdrawals from the blood after not seeing Ruby for days. You wanted nothing more than to help him through it, but your healing powers couldn’t assist with demonic workings of any kind. What you could do, though, is put him to sleep. You ran your hand over his hair and got up from the floor.
After grabbing a blanket off his bed, you brought it back to the bathroom and sat back down beside him. When you’d tossed the blanket over him, you helped Sam rest his head on your lap. Then, you went back to running your hand over the brunet’s hair and used your powers to put him to sleep. His shaking subsided, and his breathing relaxed. You stayed with him through the rest of the night.
***
When Sam woke up laying against you, he immediately seemed embarrassed. He jerked back from you. “Oh, uh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to—”
“It’s okay,” you said. “It’s what I’m here for.”
Sam leaned forward hesitantly. He kept pausing as his face got closer to yours, seemingly to ensure you weren’t uncomfortable.
Uncomfortable wasn’t quite the word you’d use; there were a million thoughts running through your mind. And yet, you couldn’t string one coherent sentence together.
You tilted your chin up, and it was all the confirmation Sam needed. His kiss was gentle when he first connected your lips. You responded, almost completely frozen, but still moving your lips in time with his.
Sam’s kiss got more desperate, and he pulled you across his lap, wrapping his large hands around your hips and back.
And then, he was gone. You were confused only momentarily as you became aware of Zachariah’s presence in front of you.
“I know what you’ve been doing, (Y/N),” Zachariah chastised.
You hung your head in shame. “I’m sorry, Zachariah. I let myself get too close to Sam Winchester, and—”
Zachariah cut you off. “Yes. You did. I’m disappointed in you.” He stalked around you, his multiple sets of wings encircling and taunting you. “You were one of my best, (Y/N). And now, I’m going to have to let you go.”
Your eyes widened, and you looked up at your superior. “Wait, please! I’m sorry!”
He patted your cheek. “I know you are. But you turned your back on us, (Y/N). You turned your back on our father.”
Tears welled in your eyes.
“Ah! That. That, right there.” He caught the tear on his first finger as it slipped down your cheek. “Feeling. Feelings are human. You’ve changed, my dear sister.”
“I’m sorry,” you cried softly.
“I told you that Sam Winchester is a lost cause. I knew something like this would happen, but you? You didn’t listen. Goodbye, sister.”
And with that, you were sent barreling down to earth. The fall was incredibly painful; your wings feeling like they were being burnt off your body, each feather leaving ripples of searing heat in its wake.
Nothing could stop you barreling toward the earth. The speed of your fall began to take a toll on you, and your vision faded to black.
***
You woke up flat on your back in the middle of nowhere. Your limbs ached, and your vessel’s body was undoubtedly broken. Using your weakened powers, you healed your body enough to be able to stand. When you’d gotten your wits about you, you would heal yourself completely.
You walked through the woods you’d landed in the middle of. The morning sun was still rising, the birds chirped, and light streamed through the trees. All at once, the reality of your situation hit you, and you cried.
You cried for your brothers and sisters you’d never see again; very few ever came to earth. You weren’t sure how you’d get to Sam without your wings, but you needed to see him. This feeling of need was still foreign to you, and you couldn’t decide if you liked how it felt.
All that time you’d spent in service of Heaven and of your father, and you were cast out as if you didn’t matter at all. You knew getting so close was wrong, but you hadn’t expected such harsh treatment. In all your years of being alive, you had never made a mistake. And after just one, you were kicked out?
On the other hand, though, crying was freeing. Maybe Sam was right. Why would your father restrict you from feeling?
For a moment, the world was quiet. All you could hear was your soft sniffles, the birds chirping, and the wind rustling the leaves of the trees. You took a deep breath, and for the first time, life felt beautiful.
***
Sam was praying to you, and you had no way of responding to him. Slowly but surely, you were making your way back to him. You could feel his soul calling to you, and it only spurred you on to continue walking. As an angel, you had no need for sleep or eating. And so, you walked continuously for five days; each step making Sam’s essence grow stronger. You could feel yourself getting closer to him.
“Hey, (Y/N)?” you heard Sam calling to you. “I don’t know if you’re even still listening to me, but I’m sorry for scaring you off. I— I shouldn’t have done what I did. Just… come back. Please.”
It broke your heart that you couldn’t get to him sooner, and you mentally begged him to wait for you.
And finally, on the sixth day, you found Sam’s cabin. Joy and relief flooded your chest, and you smiled widely. You ran through the front door, and Sam jerked out of his chair with his gun in hand. When he realized who you were, he dropped his gun to the floor in surprise. “(Y/N)?”
“Hello, Sam,” you smiled, tears rimming your eyes.
“Wh— What happened? Why’d you leave?” he asked.
“I didn’t. Zachariah brought me back to Heaven, and… he took my wings,” you explained, looking down at your shoes.
Sam’s confused and angry stare turned to his familiar puppy-dog-eyed stare. “What, why?”
“I’m a fallen angel now. I betrayed Heaven,” you responded.
“By doing what?” he asked. “I kissed you, you didn’t do anything.”
“Yes, I did,” you assured him, stepping closer to him. “I started to feel. And… feel for you.”
Sam’s soft gaze flooded your chest with warmth. He used his first two fingers to tilt your chin up toward his and closed the space between your lips.
You and Sam weren’t perfect in any sense. But you would take whatever you two were over your shiny, hard, plastic, emotionless past.

Part 9
"What did I miss?" Liana asked as she sat down, seeing the boys exchange looks. Sometimes they spoke without words. She always envied that connection. She didn’t have anyone who could understand her with just a nod or a blink or, in this case, a stare.
"Hello, Earth to Art and Patrick?" she tried to join in, but something about the current situation didn’t feel right. "It's my turn to go inside. I need to drink some water. You two catch up, it's been a while since you’ve seen each other," Art said without looking at her, causing Liana to frown as he walked away. "That was weird, right?" she asked Patrick, who responded with a half-smile. "When is Art not weird?" he said. "How are you?" he asked, turning his gaze back to her and seeing her give the widest smile she could offer anyone. "Do you forgive me?" she asked, moving to sit next to him, placing her head on his shoulder. "What do I have to forgive you for, Amanda?" he chuckled, tracing shapes on her shoulder while taking another sip of champagne. "I was terrible. The exams made me crazy," she tried to justify her behavior over the past month. "Do you know if you're leaving yet?" he asked. "I’ll know when we get back from vacation. I’m terrified," she murmured. On one hand, Liana desperately wanted that year in Oxford. She wanted to see Europe. The architecture. The atmosphere. The culture. She wanted to see something other than the American suburb she had lived in her whole life, with the same people and the same opinions and the same tennis. On the other hand, she didn’t want to break her parents’ hearts. Her parents who had always talked about Stanford and how she’d join the family business after she finished school, and her parents who were the best people she knew but whose dreams for her flew past them as if they were never there. And now there was Art too. Art, who in the past two days had made her feel things she had never felt before. Art, who in the months at Stanford had become an inseparable part of her life. Art, who made her stomach ache at the thought of not seeing him for a year. Art, who still didn’t know she was considering leaving. "You’ll pass that test, we both know you will," Patrick said calmly. "And then you'll conquer Europe, building by building." He chuckled, but his voice faded with each word. "And we'll stay here, missing you," he said, and she straightened up, looking at him. "I’m not going to die, you know," Liana rolled her eyes, trying to lighten the conversation. "No, you're just going to meet people much better than us, and I'm enough of a bastard to be worried about that," he said honestly. "I don’t think there are many people in the world better than you, Patrick," she concluded. The next day Art left. He texted her that a spot opened up in some tennis group he could join, and he didn’t want to miss the opportunity. That he’d see her at Stanford. When Liana tried to call, he didn’t answer. So they kept missing each other throughout the vacation, she trying to call just as he was going into practice or the shower or falling asleep, and him sending messages that he was okay, just busy. On the last day of the vacation, she received a message that her exam results had come in. She had been accepted. Liana cried. Which wasn’t anything special because objectively Liana cried a lot, but this time she cried out of excitement. All the effort she put in had paid off, and now she could prepare for the student exchange. She could make her dream come true, start being a real person in the world. The conversation with her parents was horrible. There were shouts and accusations, and her mother said they wouldn’t pay for this, which Liana had suspected might happen. Her father seemed more conciliatory but didn’t say much. "Do you think Mom will be mad at me for long?" she asked him on the way to the airport. If there was one thing Liana hated, it was that it was always obvious she had been crying. Her pale face would turn red, and her eyes would swell, sometimes for days. This was one of those cases. It could be said with confidence that Liana looked like she had been run over by a bus yesterday.
"I know it doesn’t look like it, but we’re proud of you. Mom will come around, don’t worry," her father hugged her as they got out of the car. "I want this so much, Dad," she sighed.
"I know, honey," he said, kissing the top of her head. He hated seeing the emotional turmoil his daughter was in. His daughter, who above all feared disappointing people. "I’ll come back to Stanford after that," she mumbled, feeling the lump in her throat take over again. "I don’t want her to hate me," she looked at him with teary eyes.
"She doesn’t hate you. Li, look at me." Her father tried to wipe her tears. "Your mother is a stubborn woman, and you’ll see that a month after you’re there, she’ll come visit you." He smiled, and she nodded, not sure she believed what he said. "Besides, you have another semester at Stanford. Make the most of it, maybe you’ll love the place as much as we did." He shrugged, seeing her take a deep breath, trying to calm down. "I love you, Dad," she hugged him again and started to walk away, hoping everything would calm down and her mother would eventually look at her like she did before she told her she was planning to leave. Art opened the door after five knocks, looking at her with a puzzled expression. "Did we have plans?" he asked. "Hey Arthur, I missed you too," she rolled her eyes and gave him a small kiss on the lips, seeing him close his eyes and deepen the kiss within seconds as he closed the door. "Hey," he smiled at her and moved her hair out of her face. "Have you been crying?" he asked after examining her. Art couldn’t stop himself from asking. It was like an instinct; seeing what he could do to make her feel better. But he was so mad at her that he didn’t really want to talk to her or know how she felt right now; after all, she didn’t care how he felt. He did want to fuck her. He wanted to feel like she was his. He was afraid he was a little addicted to the feeling of looking at her and feeling like she was entirely his. He was afraid that if she left, he wouldn’t feel that way again. He was afraid of losing.
"Did you know?" his mother asked on the phone. Her voice worried. "What?" he returned the question, panting after practice. "That Liana is planning to leave for Oxford? Did you know that?" she demanded the truth. And the truth was that he knew she was leaving. But he didn’t know where or when and he didn’t know it was official. His heart pounded faster. "Yes, I knew," he mumbled, not wanting to reveal how far he felt from Liana in reality. Not wanting to reveal how stupid he felt that of all people, Patrick knew before him. "How could you not say anything, Art, she's our Liana. How will she manage in England alone? She barely manages to find her way in the supermarket without getting lost," his mother sighed. And she was right. He knew she was right. And she wasn’t even their Liana; she was his Liana. And she was his Liana for exactly two days. What an idiot he is. "She’s a big girl. She can navigate the supermarket in England without getting lost. I have to go," he mumbled, angry at himself for still feeling the need to protect her. "Just tired from the flight," she smiled at him a tired smile and felt his lips leaving small kisses on her neck, causing her to close her eyes. "Can I help?" his voice was teasing as he took off her shirt without much resistance. Examining her for a second, as if trying to remember how she looked. "You're already helping," she smiled a genuine smile, and his lips were on her again, hungrier than she had felt him so far. "I want you so much, Li," he groaned into her mouth. His tongue intertwining with hers as if he had wandered for years in the desert and she was his source of water. "Do you want this?" he asked, as they moved to his bed and she nodded. In complete haze, at this point, she decided that Art Donaldson could do whatever he wanted with her. And it was a liberating decision. Knowing she was safe in his hands and he decided how good she could feel now. "Words, Liana," he demanded as he started taking off her jeans. She didn’t even notice she was already half-naked in front of him. "You're wearing too many clothes," she mumbled incoherently as his hand brushed over her panties. "You're already wet, Li?" his voice was amused as he took off his shirt. "Already ready for me, and I haven’t even touched you yet," he whispered in her ear and heard her moan, which caused him to release a groan of his own. "Do you want this?" he asked again. This time his hand applied more pressure over her panties. "Art." Her voice was desperate. "Please," she whispered, and he bit his lip. Stopping himself from all the things he wanted to do with her. "Please, what?" he asked, his mouth close to hers, teasing, barely touching. He kissed her right cheek and then her left
"Touch me. Please," she almost cried out of frustration and desperation, exactly the way he wanted her. His. His again. And he felt desperate too, so her panties came off in a flash and he gave her exactly what she wanted. He heard her moan beneath him as his fingers moved inside her rhythmically. He felt how tight she was. He tried not to imagine his dick inside her, thinking he might not last. She was a virgin. He knew that. She had told him. He was going to be the first inside her. "So good for me, Li," he murmured and smiled, never taking his eyes off her. He didn't think anyone could look better than Liana did now, beneath him, eyes closed, desperate sounds escaping her, moaning his name. He was sure the student in the room next door was jerking off to the sound of her. He was sure no one in the world could resist Liana Levy when she looked like that beneath him. He was no different from anyone else. Almost captivated. Almost helpless. Just wanting to deliver. Just wanting her to always be like that for him. His lips roamed over her body until they reached her clit, while his hand sped up.
"You take me so well, Li," he said as the room filled with the sound of her fluids and moans.
"I'm going to-" she mumbled, her voice breaking, making him look up at her. He had to see her come. He had to remember this moment.
"Come for me, Li, come on. I want to see you," he demanded in the most authoritative voice he could muster, even though he felt himself melting under her influence.
"Art," she moaned again.
And he was right, her face in that moment was truly the most beautiful thing he'd seen in his 20 years of existence. Her half-open mouth, her eyes closed, slightly teary, her hand on her breast. It was a magnificent sight and he knew only he had seen her like this.
Her body shook and he gave one last kiss on her sensitive clit, then stood before her.
"Open your eyes, Li," he said, and she did exactly as he commanded. "Kiss me. Taste yourself." Another half-command with a smile and scheming eyes. Within seconds, her lips were on his, her tongue mingling with his intensely, just wanting more.
"I want to be inside you," he murmured, and she nodded. "Can I?" he asked. He had to ask. He knew she could say no and he would have to accept it, and if he were less greedy, he might even be satisfied with that anyway.
But he was so angry with her. He wanted her to know. He wanted her to know that just as he was hers, she was his. That she couldn't just ignore him like that. Dismiss him as if he didn't matter.
"Yes," she murmured into his mouth, feeling him smile against her.
"Yes, what?" he asked, teasing.
"Fuck me," she whispered, and it came out vulgar and blunt, uncharacteristic of the girl in front of him. She was even surprised by the words that left her mouth, her eyes widening for a moment before remembering it was Art and relaxing. She was safe with Art. He wouldn't use her words against her. It was okay for her to need him.
"I didn't hear you," he murmured, removing the rest of his clothes and moving to his desk to grab a condom. "I'm on this side of the room, Liana. You need to speak louder." He leaned against the wall as he put the condom on, taking a breath. He had to steady his breathing if he wanted to last inside her for more than three seconds.
"Please, Art. I want to feel you inside me," she said louder, more confidently, more desperately. He moved toward her. "Please fuck me," she looked him in the eyes and bit her lip, feeling almost small but also kind of powerful. He looked almost as desperate as she did as his hand traced her face and then her chest, stopping at her sensitive nipple, making her moan.
"That much, huh?" he asked, positioning the tip of his dick at her entrance and hearing her sigh in response. "Don't worry, I've got you. Are you going to be good for me, Li?" he asked, watching her nod in response. "Are you going to take me like you were made for me?" he asked again.
"Yes, please. Art." She was almost crying with frustration. Liana didn't know what to do to make him enter her already. To feel him. For him to fill her with himself. For him to be close to her. Part of her. She didn't know when she started feeling all these emotions for Art Donaldson, but now was not the time to figure it out. He began to slide into her.
"Oh, Art," she bit his shoulder, making him groan.
"Fuck, Liana. So tight. Fuck. Hang in there, baby, are you okay?" he asked, studying her.
"More," she mumbled. The pain didn't matter. She just wanted him. She wanted all of him. He did move more. A bit more each time. Another moan and another sigh each time until he was fully inside her. Their lips merged in their most sloppy kiss yet. They were one for a moment.
"You can move," she managed to say after a few seconds.
"Are you sure?" he asked, seeing her nod. "Fuck, Li. I won't last long like this," he murmured, his movements gentle. He was careful with her.
When he felt he was close and knew she wouldn't come from the first time someone inside her, he added a finger to play with her clit.
"Fuck, Art," she moaned his name for the umpteenth time.
"I know. You're doing such a good job, Li, taking care of me so well," he said, feeling her tighten around him, bringing him to the edge almost with her.
After a few seconds, he gently pulled out of her, seeing her panting and feeling just as spent. He took off the condom and walked it to the trash, finding his boxers on the way and putting them on. He saw the girl in front of him, completely naked. Completely his.
"When were you planning to tell me?" he asked, looking at her from a distance.
Liana was still in euphoria, her eyes half-closed, confused by the question. "What are you talking about?" she sounded amused, looking at him with a smile as he put on a shirt. For a moment, she felt fragile, not understanding how she was still completely naked while he was fully dressed in front of her.
"About leaving Stanford. About Oxford? I don't know. Maybe there are more things you'd like to tell me." His gaze was cold, making Liana freeze too. She felt her nakedness now. She understood why he was dressed and she wasn't. She was vulnerable right now.
"How long have you known?" she asked quietly, swallowing and searching for her clothes.
"My mom asked me about it yesterday," he said, never taking his eyes off her. "Do you know how stupid I felt when I lied and told her I knew?" he asked. His voice didn't rise, but the frustration was clear.
"Art, I found out two days ago," her eyes glistened and she breathed quickly, feeling everything slipping away from her. He was slipping away from her.
"You're lying," he stated with an eye roll, sitting down on the bed.
"Art," she knelt in front of him, studying his face. He showed no emotion, only coldness.
"It's okay, Liana. We both know what this is," he said, instinctively moving her hair out of her face.
"What is it?" she swallowed. She knew Art. She knew he was about to say something he'd regret, and yet she still pushed him to say it.
"It's me passing time until Tashi realizes she wants me," he said, seeing her expression change to one he'd never seen on her before. She moved his hand from her face quickly and scooted back on the floor as fast as he didn't know she was capable of, as if afraid of his touch.
"Wow." She swallowed, looking at him, feeling the tears welling up in her eyes. "I'm sorry if I hurt you," she tried to salvage the situation, and he chuckled.
"Come on, Liana." He rolled his eyes and lay down on the bed, no longer looking at her.
"You just fucked me, Art." She felt sick. It was the first time she had slept with someone. He knew that. She felt so humiliated.
"I know. I was there, and if I remember correctly, you asked for it. More precisely, you begged-"
"Shut up. Just shut up." She cut him off and stood up. She couldn't hide her tears anymore.
"Why did you do it? We could have just continued meeting at family dinners. Seeing each other in the hallway and occasionally saying hello. Why did you do it?" It came as a sob. She had never felt so humiliated. It was like a truck had run over her.
"I was bored, and you were cute, and let's be honest, a little desperate," her hand found its way to his cheek with a force neither of them knew she possessed. She wanted to apologize automatically because she wasn't violent, but it didn't come out.
"I hate you so much. I will never forgive you. You are the worst person I know." She mumbled and moved toward the door.
"At least I beat Patrick to it," he found himself saying. He had to have the last word in every argument.
"No, Art. You lost to Patrick. Even in twenty years, you won't have half the character and heart that Patrick has already. You're a complete loser compared to him, and I hope you never forget that." She said without stuttering while he didn't take his eyes off her, swallowing hard, finally hearing the door slam.
The moment Liana reached her room, after passing a considerable number of people who looked at her with worried expressions, some even trying to ask if she was okay, she collapsed on the floor and let out the loudest cry that had probably ever escaped her. She felt dirty. Almost used. She had trusted the wrong person.
She picked up the phone to call the only person she thought could understand her.
"Liana, are you okay?" Patrick sounded concerned and confused, probably because of the late hour.
"He really hurt me and I didn't know who else to call," she managed to say through her tears, hearing Patrick sigh, as if silently saying he knew. He knew this would happen.
Writing this part kinda broke me. I know Art was being cruel, but well, he was acting out without thinking about the consequences. Got your requests and maybe on the weekend we'll give Liana/Patrick/Art some more layers. Keep sending me questions and such. I LOVE it. Hope you're still enjoying and again, if you wanna join the taglist, say the word ❤️

[[and then I met you || ch. 5]]
Series: Daredevil || Pairing: Matt Murdock x Fem!Reader || Rating: Explicit
Summary:
A one-night stand years ago gave you a daughter and you are now able to put a name to her father – Matthew Murdock. Everything is about to change again as you navigate trying to integrate your life with that of the handsome and charming blind lawyer’s and Matt realizes he needs to protect his new family from not only Hell's Kitchen but from the world.
pt: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4
words: 4.4k
It has been one week since you saw Matt Murdock on the evening news, and it feels like it has been a complete whirlwind. First, you reintroduced yourself to him and let him know he was a father, then you had a nice little outing, and to tie it all up, a trip to the doctors to confirm what you already knew.
Matthew Murdock is the father of your daughter.
It is nice to have an official statement from a doctor and now you can start the process of changing Minnie's paperwork to include his name. You have to go to the courthouse to file for an updated birth certificate. Matt has very kindly offered to take that task on for you - he goes to the courthouse often for his job and he knows the ins-and-outs of navigating legal paperwork. You just have to go and drop off the right documentation.
You had a brief call last night, after Minnie had been put down, and decided that you would visit his office today to do just that. You are going to kill two birds with one stone - hand over what needs to be filed and give Matt more time with his daughter.
To your great surprise, your timid little Mouse absolutely adores him. She was not happy to have to be at the doctor's office yesterday and was on the verge of tears before he showed up. Her whole mood shifted, and she had spent the brief time you were in the waiting room and exam room telling Matt about different things around them.
You have a feeling, when you sit down and tell her the truth, she is going to be thrilled.
You told her that you are going to visit Matt at work today, and all morning she has been hunched over her sketchbook making pictures for him while you try to get in some hours at work. Try being the key word, as you've been thoroughly distracted by today's news cycle.
You were half listening to a puff piece about something or other when breaking news flashed across the screen. A neighborhood in Connecticut has been leveled by some sort of explosion, killing hundreds. They don't know if it was an accident or some sort of attack - the epicenter of the blast was a school, so it could potentially be either. You pray it was a freak accident, some faulty pipeline or a weird meteor, because the world doesn't need any more horribleness in it.
The idea that it might have been an attack makes you nervous. You've been through two horrible attacks on New York, and you didn't realize another big event so close to home would shake you so hard.
It scares you that you have to raise Minnie in such a harsh world, where monsters of all kinds are very very real and you don't know who you can rely on. The police and government have been shown to be all kinds of corrupt and people who can shoot laser beams fight each other in the skies.
You end up clocking out and going to sit with Minnie to get yourself to stop your doom-listening. She's got a few drawings scattered around the table and you pick up the one closest to you, smiling at her handy work.
You recognize the shapes as her interpretation of people - oblongs with stick arms and noodle legs. Unknowingly, she's made her first new family portrait. There are three blob-people all holding hands: you suspect you're the big orange one with a smile, Minnie is the little pink one in the middle with what you guess are pigtails, and Matt is the black one with red eyes, who is also holding a stick. To confirm, you ask her.
"Is this one Mister Matt?"
Her head shoots up and a big grin spreads across her face, "Yeah! And that's you and that's me and we're gonna go to the zoo!" There is a little flurry of motion and suddenly you are getting a picture show. She holds up the paper she was working on - there's another family drawing, but this time there's green scribbles all around you and a blue square with zig zags all over it. You guess that is some sort of animal.
"You want to go to the zoo with Mister Matt?" You ask, examining her masterpiece.
"Yeah!" She says, pulling over another picture that you know are her versions of flowers, even if they are all different colors. "And the park!"
"And the park? Wow, that's a lot of things to do. Do you want to ask him if he wants to go to the zoo with us when we see him today?" Minnie eagerly nods at the question and that makes you smile. "Okay, we can invite him to the zoo. When are we going to the zoo?"
The question makes her bounce in excitement, "My birthday!"
You laugh at her enthusiasm and give her a little back rub, "Exactly. We're going to go for your birthday. And get a big cake with whatever you want on it." That makes her a giggly mess and you temporarily forget all the bad things in the world.
You hand her back her drawing before kissing the top of her hair, "How about you finish this one up and we get ready to go see Mister Matt? We can only visit for a little bit, because he's working, but I bet he'll love everything you made him."
Greedy little hands take back the paper and instantly Mouse is hunched back over her zoo scene, purple crayon in hand. You get up and go to make sure that you have everything you need to bring to Matt in order. You are extremely lucky that the doctor has the ability to print out things in Braille, so you don't need to make an extra stop to get things translated.
You debate bringing Matt lunch, but ultimately decide against it. You don't want to push too much too fast, and you think it might be a little weird for his coworkers, to see a random person bring him homemade lunch. You know he hasn't told anyone yet about yourself and Minnie - he had shyly admitted it didn't feel real until the test results were given and you completely get it.
You tidy up until you spy Mouse dropping her crayons into her bucket and cleaning up her drawing area. You let her do her thing, then approach, "Let's put your drawings with the other things we need to give Mister Matt. That way they won't get lost or wrinkled."
She nods like you've just said something very wise and gathers up her stack of papers before handing them over. There's five in total; the three she showed you and two more full of colorful lines. You decide you'll listen in on her explanation to Matt on those two, as you're curious as to what goes on in her little mind.
Once everything is safe and ready to go, it's just a matter of getting shoes on. You go with your sensible sneakers while Minnie opts for her frog themed Wellingtons. The plan is for both of you to walk to the office, and after one final wallet-keys-phone check in your purse, you head out hand-in-hand.
It's mid-morning, so foot traffic is decent, but not heavy - nothing that makes Minnie too uncomfortable. Dark clouds are gathering on the horizon, and it makes you wonder if the rain that has been promised in the forecast will be coming sooner than expected and you are glad this outing is the only one you have planned. Taking Minnie around in the rain is never fun. It always seems like everything becomes more bustling in the rain and trying to navigate that with a crying toddler just makes you want to cry as well.
But the promise of her new favorite person and mild weather has her walking like the born and bred New Yorker she is - a determined little pout with no nonsense steps. No one will be trying to sell her things on the sidewalks once she gets bigger. If she had a different personality, you'd want to teach her to say "Hey, I'm walking here" just to hear a toddler say it.
As you spy the building Matt's office is in, you realize you should have sent him a text to say you were on your way. You did let him know vaguely what time you planned to stop by and he had assured you that they had no appointments - it was catch up on paperwork day - but that didn't mean walk-in clients hadn't come by. You're so close to already being there that you think the gesture is pointless, so you just keep walking until you get to the building.
"This is where we are going," you tell Minnie as you approach. You scoop her up to show her the business directory on the outside of the building. There aren't very many plaques to begin with, so it's easy to find the Nelson, Murdock, and Page one. "That is where Mister Matt works with his friends."
She leans out and feels over the embossed sign, running her fingers over the different letters. "'M'! For Minnie!" She says, pointing out the letter with a big smile.
"Exactly. Mister Matt's last name starts with M, too. That word is his last name - Murdock."
That gets her to turn back to the sign, fingers dancing over the letters, brows knitting with curiosity, "How is it spelled?"
You spell out Murdock for her and Minnie repeats each letter after you. You do this a few times until she's able to say it out loud on her own. You don't know how long she'll retain the information, as spelling isn't really on the board yet, but you're happy she's interested. You set her back down and she makes a beeline up the steps, grabbing and pulling at the door with all her three-year-old strength.
The lobby to the building is sparse, with basically only an elevator and staircase, with a door to what you suspect is a supply closet. "We're going up two staircases," you tell your daughter.
"Two!" She confirms before taking off towards the stairs. You have a brief moment of panic that she's going to zip up both sets faster than you can catch her, but to your great amusement, she grabs a hold of the banister with both hands and pretends to use it like a mountaineering rope to climb the stairs. She even adds little fake huffs and puffs. You follow behind her, ready to catch her if she slips. She doesn't, and when you get to the floor Matt's office is on, she turns to beam at you, clearly proud of herself, "We did it!"
"We did it," you parrot, offering out your hand again. She takes it and you lead her to the correct door. The same plaque that was on the exterior of the building also hangs beside their door and Minnie astutely points to it.
"Murdock!"
"That's right, it says Nelson, Murdock, and Page."
"Can I knock?" Mouse asks, raising her fist to do just that.
You hum, then gently explain, "This is business, which means work. For work, we don't have to knock. We can go in if it is open."
As soon as you say that she's opening the door and marching inside and you quickly follow her.
Matt's law partners, Foggy and Karen, are in the reception area with a man you assume is a client of theirs, talking in hushed annoyed sounding whispers. He radiates intimidation, with a huge black eye and what looks to be a makeshift cast made of duct tape around his right wrist. The three of them turn to look at you and you get the sense Minnie had the right idea in asking if she should knock first.
Your little one quickly latches onto your leg, turning timid in the space of a second and you can't really blame her. Part of you wants to turn and run.
Karen recovers first, breaking away from the two exasperated men to step towards you and going into receptionist mode, "Hi. You were here last week to meet with Matt, right?"
"Uh, yes, that's right. Is he, uh, available?" You ask, feeling like you no longer know how to speak English. The energy in the room is not a pleasant one and you very much feel like you've interrupted something important.
"He's on a call currently but I'll let him know you are here," Karen replies in a voice far kinder than what she uses to address the men behind her a beat later. She turns to them and points to the office you know is not Matt's. "In there. Now."
Foggy throws up his hands, like he's frustrated with whatever is going on and disappears into the other room. The man you don't know doesn't follow, eyes on you and your daughter as Karen crosses the room to knock on Matt's door before opening it and slipping into the office. You quickly decide you are not going to make eye contact with him, instead ducking your head and putting a comforting hand on Minnie's head. She's practically hidden herself behind your legs, clinging to your pants so tightly you fear they might rip.
"I like your boots," the man says into the quietness. You expect him to sound like gravel, but his gruff voice is rather soft, and you get the feeling he understands how to talk to children "My daughter used to have boots like those."
Part of you wants to tell the man to not talk to your daughter, but that would be rude and just because he looks like he's been through the ringer doesn't mean he's a bad man. You decide to let her determine how she wants to proceed.
You feel Minnie poke her head out from where she's hidden herself. At first, you don't think she's going to reply, as you know how she is, but she surprises you yet again by mumbling out, "They're froggies."
"Yeah? You like frogs?"
Mouse somehow tightens her grip, "I like animals." She presses her face against your leg, then admits, a little louder, "we're gonna to the zoo for my birthday."
That makes the man smile, and that changes his whole demeanor. Suddenly he looks friendly and kind and not like he's likely to stab you, "That's a good place to go for your birthday. How old are you gonna be?"
Before she can respond, the door to Matt's office swings open and Karen stalks out, followed by Matt, who seems much less agitated than everyone else. The blonde points to the unknown man, a little scowl on her face, "What did I say?"
The man holds up his hands defensively, stepping away from Karen and towards the office he was previously told to go in, "Alright, alright, I'm going. I'm going." That doesn't seem to help soothe her at all, as she grabs the man by the bicep and frog-marches him to join Foggy, closing the door behind them.
"They didn't make you wait long, did they?" Matt asks, bringing your attention back to him. There is a cut on his lip that wasn't there the last time you saw him, and your instinct is to ask if he is okay, but you don't know if you are at that level with him yet.
So instead, you address his question, "No, no, we just got here."
He motions back to his office, a smile spreading across his face, and you almost forget about the cut, "Come on back and we can review everything."
Minnie lets go of your pants only to take your hand again and you lead her into the other room. As you pass Matt, she looks up at him and gives a tiny wave.
"Hi, Mister Matt."
Matt's shoulders visibly relax at her greeting, and you can't help but start to smile, "Hi, sweetheart. How are you doing today?"
"Good! I maded you pictures," she says proudly. That causes him to pause as he starts to follow you into his office. You can tell he is surprised by the news - his voice gets a little choked up when he responds.
"You made me some pictures?"
"They are very good pictures," you advise, squeezing Minnie's hand slightly before letting go, "Do you want to tell Mister Matt what you drew for him?" She nods eagerly, so you point to one of the chairs in front of his desk. "Go sit like a big girl and you can tell him."
She makes a dash for the chair, and you take the time to address Matt, "I'm sorry, I should have called ahead."
He shakes his head, and as he walks past you to go behind the desk, he reaches out and brushes his hand along your arm. A little shiver runs up your spine at the touch and you tell yourself the action was so he could orient himself. "Not a problem, I knew you were coming. How is everything?"
"Everything is good," you reply, a little shyer than you intend to. "I, uh, have everything for you. Is there anything else I need to fill out?"
Matt shakes his head, "Just a signature and date. You've done all the work for me already. I don't think I've ever had to file where I don't need to actually do anything but sign the document. It's a refreshing change."
"Do you know how long it will take to process?" You ask as you move to join Minnie in sitting. "The website gave multiple timelines and I just want to be realistic."
Matt takes his seat with a cocky grin, "Not long at all, I know a few judges I can ask to push it through."
You flush at the idea of him asking a favor to a judge on your account, "That's not necessary, Matt, I don't mind waiting."
He shakes his head, getting that soft look again, "I don't want to wait. I want it to be official in the eyes of the government."
His words make you feel even warmer, and you distract yourself by pulling the file with all the paperwork out of your purse and pass it over to him. "Minnie's additions are at the bottom of the stack. The last five pages"
His fingers twitch slightly, and you wonder if he wants to flip right to those. You get your answer quickly.
"Minnie, is it okay if I go over the paperwork with your mom before you tell me about your pictures?"
"It's okay!" She replies, her voice much more cheerful now that you are alone with Matt. "Do you needs help?"
Her sweetness makes Matt smile more and he shakes his head, "Not right now, sweetheart. I need to read, and I can do that with my fingers, but after that you can help with some other things."
"Okay," she says happily, kicking her feet a little bit.
You catch her attention and motion to your purse, "Do you want a toy while you wait?"
She shakes her head and beams up at you, "No thank you, I'm a big girl!"
Both you and Matt chuckle at her declaration and he moves to open the file.
"There's multiple copies of everything," you tell him as you move onto business, "One printed text and one in Braille for the courts and the same for you. I have the same at home, as well. They are bundled in packets. The court papers are on top, Braille first."
He thanks you then begins to read the forms. Mouse sits up straighter in her chair to try and see what he is doing. She can just peek over the edge, and she watches in fascination as his fingers move over the pages. You wait quietly, not wanting to distract in any way.
"Everything appears to be in order. We will just need a signature," Matt says after a minute.
"Should I do that now?" You ask. The response is him offering you a pen, so you lean in to sign the various forms. As you set each document aside, Matt adds his own signature. It is silly how giddy you feel just having the forms finally completed. You don't know how long you've had just blank copies, waiting to be filed.
"And done," Matt says with a final flick of his pen on the last page. "I'm going to the courthouse on Tuesday, so I'll get it processed then. I'll push to get an updated certificate as quickly as possible."
You have to bite your lip to keep from smiling like a crazy person. This isn't some dream or far off fantasy. Matt isn't just saying he wants to be Minnie's father. He is following through, with urgency. This is something he wants and it's almost surreal for you - you are so used to promises being broken and no one being on the same page as you in your desires. Even if this is all for Minnie and not for you, it is still on the edge of overwhelming for you.
You never thought you'd be so happy over paperwork.
"Thank you, Matt," you whisper, leaning back into your seat to sit properly.
Immediately, Minnie parrots you, thanking Matt even though she has no idea what is going on.
"No, thank you. Thank you both," he says, and you wonder if he is also holding back from smiling. He gathers the papers and sets them aside before running his fingers over the folder you gave him and addressing his daughter. "Okay, sweetheart. Do you want to come tell me what you drew?"
You expect Minnie to stand on the chair and even prepare yourself to balance her, but that does not happen. She hops down and scurries around the desk to be at Matt's side and a moment later, he is pushing his chair back and she is climbing up into his lap. Embarrassment rushes through you - she's only ever behaved like this with you. She actually used to fuss and cry if anyone else tried to hold her. You haven't seen her sit in anyone else's lap since she had a say in who gets to hold her.
"Minnie!" You scold but Matt quickly shakes his head as he helps her up.
"It's okay, I don't mind," he tells you even though he looks completely shocked. If he wasn't her father, you wouldn't allow this, especially with someone so new to her, but he is her father, even if she doesn't know, so you don't tell her to get down.
Instead, you give a stern frown, "Minnie, you still need to ask before climbing on anyone, okay? Can you apologize?"
Your little girl nods, then looks up at him, "I'm sorry, Mister Matt."
"It's okay, sweetheart. Like I said, I don't mind, but your Mommy is right, and you should ask so I know you are there. Next time, you'll know. Now, your Mommy said there were five pictures. Which do you want to start with?" He asks, scooting his chair back to the desk while wrapping one arm around Minnie's waist to keep her secure.
Once she's able to, she leans in and picks up the first drawing in the stack. It is the family portrait, and you quickly get your phone out so you can record this interaction as Minnie lays out the picture. She then takes Matt's free hand and guides it to the paper before letting go to point at the circle that represents him.
"This is you," she tells him. He quickly finds where she is pointing and begins to trace the figure.
"That's me?" And there is definitely more than a little bit of emotion in his voice.
"Uh-huh, and that is me and Mommy and we're gonna go to see the duckies. Mommy said we can go again. But we're gonna get ice cream too. And a balloon," she says, moving her little finger all over the page.
You watch Matt's finger follow hers - first over the doodle of himself, then Minnie's, and finally yours. Then, he traces back to the center figure. "We're holding hands?" He asks tentatively.
"Yup!" She answers, popping the p. "Mommy says we gotta hold hands if we go outside."
Matt licks his lips a little and you see his muscles flex under his jacket as he holds Minnie a little more firmly to his chest, like he doesn't want to let go of her. "That's a good rule."
"Mommy makes good rules," your little one replies wisely. That makes your ego sing a little. Mouse has always been good at doing what she's told, and you are proud that she understands your rules keep her safe.
Before she moves onto the next picture, you gently prompt her. "Sweetie, was there something you wanted to ask Mister Matt?"
Matt's head jerks up at that, looking right to you with brows slightly knit. Minnie bounces in his lap just a little, squirming so she can turn to look up at him, "I'm gonna go to the zoo! For my birthday! Do you wanna go?"
His lips part in surprise at the question and before you know it, he has both his arms wrapped around Mouse, hugging her to him. She instantly responds, looping her little arms around his neck and squeezing back. He rests his cheek against her head, and you see him slightly rock her from side to side. "I would love to go with you to the zoo, sweetheart."
Minnie giggles into his neck and you one hundred percent know that the transition to suddenly having two parents is not going to be hard for her at all. It might be confusing because Matt won't be living with you, but you have never seen her so comfortable with someone who isn't you. You know it's not just because he gave her a toy. They just click together so well.
You switch from video to your camera so you can sneak as many pictures as you can of Matt and Minnie hugging. They've completely forgotten about you and that is a-okay.
In this moment, nothing else matters to you - not the strange man in the other office or the devastation a few states over or all the other trivial things that nag you and make your stomach turn.
Your world is right in front of you and for the first time in a very, very long time, you really, truly believe everything is going to be just fine.

Twenty Four hours that was the amount of time that passed until Charles was crawling at the walls, beginning to go crazy at the unanswered calls and texts he’d been sending to you since you walked out of the door. Arthur could only help his brother so much before he deemed it an issue for Maman Leclerc to handle, and Charles was starting to see that too. Truth be told this was the last thing he wanted to happen to his family, he hated himself for getting so angry and so loud with you, his angel, his wife.
If there was one thing Charles wasn’t it was a hateful man, he had so much love to give and share with you, seeing your face crumple and the tears that rolled down your face was enough to have him kicking himself in the ass. He almost felt stupid as he pulled into the driveway of his mothers, getting out of his car only to freeze as you walked out with Matteo.
“Papa, Papa!!!” the toddler squealed excitedly
“Bonjour petit prince”
He watched as you let go of his hand so he could run over to hug him, Charles was quick to pick Matteo up and press a few kisses to his face
“Papa play please?”
“No baby, I can’t play right now, maybe later okay? You go home with maman alright?”
The two year old frowned not understanding why he couldn’t play with his dad, but held his arms out for you to take him back, barely glancing at him
“Charles..”
Your voice sounded tired, a slight edge to it which the Monégasque only had himself to blame for that
“Amour…”
“Not now.”
With that he watched you place Teo in his car seat, quickly getting into the driver’s side door and speeding away from the house, almost like you couldn’t get away from him fast enough, another pang of hurt spreading through him. Blinking back the tears in his eyes, he looked towards the front door where Pascale waited, a knowing look on her face, as soon as Charles reached her she was quick to kiss his cheek and pull him in for a hug.
“Mon Charlie, tu as l’air tellement bleu”
“Parce que j’ai le blues, maman.”
Charles followed his mother into the house, taking a seat on the couch while Pascale got them both a cup of tea, just how he liked it of course. Silence filling the air as he figured out what to say, where to start, shame quick to cloud his brain as soon as he began to think too hard.
“Seems like you both had a little trouble recently?”
He was quick to look up at his mother, the worry in her eyes enough to let him know she knew everything already
“I fucked up maman…I-I”
“Chérie you made a mistake and it can be fixed, you know Y/N, she loves you so much despite how she is feeling, and I know she feels horribly about how she reacted as well..”
“Really because she acted like she hates me outside.”
Charles closed his eyes, letting out a breath
“She is hurting Char, and I know you want to be there for her and help her through it, but I think right now she needs a bit more time to breath, and you do too, so youre staying here with me, you can help me make dinner tonight, your brothers will be here too.”
“Maman..”
Pascale waved her hand
“Pas de dispute avec moi, tu ne viens plus que rarement me voir pour dîner.”
With that Charles nodded, excusing himself to go up to his old room, letting himself fall against the mattress, he didn’t know what to do, where to go, how to feel, all he knew was he missed you and he missed Matteo. It almost tore his heart apart to see his son’s sad eyes knowing he wasn’t coming home with you like he usually did.
He felt like a failure as a father and a failure as a husband, but deep down was he a horrible person for wanting to share his passion with his little boy? No, far from, and you knew that, you did which is what gnawed away at you, unbeknownst to Charles. What he did know is he wanted to fix things, and fix things fast because a day without you felt like a lifetime, and it was something he wished to never feel again, even as he stared at the unanswered texts.
▸Charles: can we talk tomorrow…? please
He stared at the screen, patiently, crossing her fingers and hoping to see three dots pop up at the bottom. Seconds turned into minutes, which turned into almost half an hour before his screen lit up, the background you and Matteo when he was first born
▸Amour: okay, just come to the house whenever.
Charles was quick to type back
▸Charles: okay, okay thank you baby! i love you so much..
He didn’t think it was pushing it to text his usual i love you but when you didn’t answer back, he wondered if it was, if he had pushed you already, sending you further away, he only hoped he hadn’t messed up to the point where he really was losing you forever.
It wasn’t until roughly an hour later that his phone screen lit up once more, this time an attachment was sent, a photo of Matteo cuddled up with Charles’s favourite sweater, curled onto your chest a simple ‘we love you too papa❤️’ written below it.
Maybe things would change for the better, maybe there was enough time to fix what had been broken, and to get back to being a family.

I’m Not Gay
Info - queer fic, slight homophobia, first gay experience, slight dub con, anal sex, British reader, trying not to cum, stepbrothers, drinking alcohol, compulsive heterosexuality, licking up cum, sharing cum in kiss
We hadn’t hit it off right away, but neither had we hated one another. It was just facts that we weren’t truly family. I was willing to be kind to him, but I wasn’t about to tell him my deepest secrets and pretend we’d grown up together.
Lee was sweet, and seemed to be coping with our new situation well. We weren’t even a year apart in age. I supposed this helped, but we wouldn’t have ever been mistaken for twins.
Despite how odd it felt for our parents to have fallen into a whirl wind romance and to have a new stepbrother, something about Lee intrigued me. When he brushed past me, my skin tingled. When he laughed I felt my heart do flips. I’d even had some….. odd dreams about him which had made me wake up very confused and light headed.
It was our parents’ first weekend away from the house. I’d expected him to immediately call over some mates for a party. He was wiry, good looking, and undoubtedly popular. I’d retreated to my room to read. To my surprise he’d come in unannounced, said he’d gotten some liquor and we needed to do some bonding.
I was now sitting awkwardly in my olive green shirt and black boxers. My cheeks were red because Lee wore no shirt, just sitting in his pants. He said there was no way he was wearing unnecessary items of clothing in the heat wave.
I would’ve done the same if I felt comfortable in my body. I had let my gaze fall to his abdomen several times during this little get together. However, what I felt was somehow more than envy. I couldn’t place these odd feelings, and I squirmed in my seat.
“Truth or drink,” Lee said lightly, handing me some booze.
“Well I hold my liquor well, and I don’t really like to talk about myself-“
“You hold your liquor well, see, didn’t even have to bargain for that piece of information,” Lee said smugly. He winked at me and I was on fire. I let out a huff of irritation.
“I’m a Brit mate, of course I do,” I shot back. I wasn’t sure if I liked how easily he disarmed me.
“You’re a big sports guy? Rugby, I assume,” I said quickly, so he couldn’t be the first to pose a question.
“Not really my darkest secret,” he chuckled. “It was dancing when I was younger, soccer. I’ve never played rugby.”
“So, how about you? Do you like sports?” He asked.
“Do I look like I play sports?” I grumbled.
“You do that a lot you know,” Lee said casually.
“Do what?”
“Self deprecate,” he shrugged.
“Yeah well I’m-“
“British, I know, but you could give yourself a bit more credit,” Lee added.
We went back and forth trading information. He seemed sweet and I was surprised he was giving me the time of day. I had to take a couple shots but he hadn’t asked me anything too crazy.
“First time with a guy?” He asked with a smirk.
“Never,” I shrugged. I was used to people thinking I was gay.
“You don’t need to lie, you could’ve just drank,” Lee chuckled.
“I don’t need to. I’ve never been with a guy. I’m straight,” I ended my announcement with a shrug.
“No way,” Lee shook his head. He was in awe apparently.
“I like girls,” I insisted.
“And boys,” Lee continued.
“No!” I said, feeling a blush creep onto my face. Why did this man insisting I liked boys make me feel so odd? Something was stirring inside me and I didn’t know what to make of it.
“You’re tell me you don’t think about cock?” Lee teased.
“No, I don’t,” I shot back.
“And what one would feel like in your tight hole.”
“Stop it!” I actually stood up in anger. It wasn’t all anger though. There was some other underlying feeling that I couldn’t place.
Lee stood too. He wasn’t a tall man but he towered over me. Fuck, he smelled good and he was very close to me.
“Then let me fuck you,” he said. I nearly fell back on my ass in shock.
“What?” I demanded.
“I bet I can make you cum,” he chuckled.
“That’s a horrible idea!” My voice was getting higher pitched by the second.
“Why?”
“For one, we’re step brothers,” I exclaimed exasperatedly. I threw my hands up, hoping he’d drop this.
“We’re not blood related and we weren’t raised together or anything,” Lee rolled his eyes.
“Why do you even care about this?” I snapped.
“It’s a challenge,” he said with a growing smirk. “I’ve never not been able to make someone cum. How’s this, if I can, you have to do my laundry for a month.”
“Is this the Disney channel?” I asked.
“I don’t think step brothers do this on that show,” he winked.
“It’s not like you’d get it anyway,” I spat. “I won’t cum because I don’t like men.”
“Then it shouldn’t be a problem should it?” Lee challenged.
“I guess not,” I hedged, unsure why I was even giving this any sort of chance.
Before I knew it Lee had lube in his hand, and was taking off his clothes. I felt a bit self conscious and opted to keep my shirt on. He said it didn’t matter, I’d cum shirt on or off. He was one cheeky bastard.
He was tanned and ripped to the gods. His curls fell in front of his face. His dick was uncut and thick. I noticed the maroon tip was already glossy. Without even thinking I licked my lips.
“How do you, I mean what do I…..” I trailed off as I looked at him. I hated to say my own cock twitched. I prayed Lee hadn’t seen.
“What do you mean?” Lee asked, hands on his hips. This only served to show off his body better.
“Like what position…” I mumbled.
“As if you haven’t thought about exactly how you’d like a man to take your hole,” Lee said rolling his eyes.
“For the last time! I am not Ga-“
He crashed his lips to mine. I expected all hard angles, nothing like a women. Instead he was warm and surprisingly soft. His hands went to my hips automatically. He was so confident in this, while my cheeks burned like an inferno.
“I-“
I couldn’t get the word out because I didn’t know what I’d been about to say. I felt like I needed to protest again. I wanted to let him know I wasn’t enjoying this. The truth was, I was, immensely. All the heat was exciting and enthralling.
“Y/n,” he moaned to my utter surprise. His dick was poking my stomach. I wanted to let out a noise but I wasn’t gay. I wasn’t even bi. This was so dumb.
He was unabashed with his own sounds. Low groans sounded in his chest that I was flush against. Slowly his hands moved south. He gripped my ample ass. I sucked in a breath. I felt like every sound I made an admittance of defeat. I wanted to win something in my life, even if it was a fight against my own sexuality.
A finger pressed firmly against my hole. I panted once. He moved his hand away and I missed it immediately. He broke our kiss to suck a digit. His brown eyes did not leave mine. My cock twitched. I felt weak in my knees. I didn’t dare fall to them, that would insinuate that I wanted to suck that big, thick, veiny- NO.
Soon, the wet digit was entering my hole. He worked the tightness open. He was getting so far in on his first try. He must’ve been with a lot of virgin men before. Fuck, why did that turn me on?
“You like that?” He breathed.
“It’s fine,” I choked out. I felt like I was on the brink of something. He was being too nice. I was waiting for the mocking and teasing. I was prepped for the merciless goading, but he seemed to be enjoying taking the virginity of a little straight boy.
“Turn around,” he ordered.
“I don’t, fffuck, have to listen to you,” I gasped. He rolled his eyes and picked me up. He gave an exasperated huff as he tossed me onto the couch. I didn’t know what overcame me as I automatically spread my legs. It felt natural and right.
“Take off your shirt,” he said as he knelt in the opening of my thighs.
“Why?” I asked. I was feeling self conscious about my body as I looked at his.
“Because you’re gonna cum all over your nice shirt if you don’t take it off. I’d like it to be on your stomach. Maybe we can share the load then.”
“I’m not going to cum,” I insisted.
“I don’t know why you keep resisting y/n. You’re so small and tight and soft, a perfect little cock sleeve for a man,” he said with an adorable quirk of his head. I felt my whole body turn red.
“See I knew you’d like that,” he chuckled. Before I could respond he was removing my shirt. I was completely naked in front of him now. As if he couldn’t resist he bent down and kissed my tummy. My happy trail was wet with his saliva. I wanted to close my legs, forget this had ever happened like it’d been a weird dream. I also wanted to cherish every moment.
“Get ready,” he hummed.
“Raw?” I squeaked.
“It’ll feel the best. Don’t worry I’m clean. You can trust your step brother,” he winked.
“Ohhhh,” I groaned. Lee looked beyond pleased. He nudged his uncut magenta coloured head at my hole.
He pushed the veiny length into my now slightly looser hole. Slowly, slowly, he was pressing and I was full. I couldn’t believe how full I was. It was like his dick was spreading through my stomach and bumping against my heart. I had to make a concentrated effort to not let my eyes roll back in my head.
“Oh fuck yeah,” Lee moaned. He braced his strong arms on either side. The first thrust of his hips was pure heaven. They began to piston at a quick rate. His grunts filled my ears. My legs spread involuntarily.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck, so ripe and pure, first time getting dick and it belongs to your own step brother,” he growled.
“I-I, ugggghhh,” I couldn’t breathe. I was in a different world. All I knew was fullness and pleasure.
“Let me touch your dick, please,” he wailed. He was so lost in my hole already. I couldn’t believe I affected him this way. I was begging myself not to enjoy this, not to want it more than anything in the world at this moment.
“N-n-no,” my voice vibrated from the wild thrusts.
“Come on, fuck, come on,” he was pleading with me. He grabbed my ankles and spread my legs farther apart. I couldn’t help it now. A small whine left my parted lips.
“That’s it, I knew you’d like it,” he cooed. He didn’t seem cocky even, just relieved that I was enjoying the pounding.
“Lee!”
“Let me touch it,” he asked again.
“Oh, f-f-fuck, fine,” I cried out. He was beaming now. His large hand wrapped around my cock. He began to yank it furiously. Wetness was pooling and I couldn’t help it one bit. The schlicking sound filled the room and fuck I could feel him throbbing inside me. His hips were still slamming my ass as he went balls deep over and over.
“Damn, bloody hell, you sure this thick piece of meat has never been inside a man?” He asked me.
“Never, because I’m not-“
“Shut, up, just, fucking, shut UP!” He nearly screamed, punctuating each word with a thrust.
“I don’t wanna hear you don’t like cock, because you’re as wet as a fucking whore,” he whispered.
“Lee,” I murmured in shock.
“I’m not playing anymore, I’m going to fucking cum in your ass,” he growled. He was leaning over me now. He forced his lips on mine. I pushed against his chest but he didn’t back off.
“You love it,” he whispered. “You love it.”
It was like an incantation that worked on me. I became more pliable with every repetition. He continued to snap his hips as he kissed me with longing tongue.
“Mmm, fuck, I love this. I’m going to cum,” he groaned.
“Not inside,” I said weakly. It convinced neither of us.
“Yes, inside!” He bellowed. Warm cum began to shoot inside me. It was a feeling I’d never thought I’d enjoy. I wasn’t too full or messy. I was in pure nirvana. Rope after rope of jock spunk was filling me up over and over.
“I, fffffuuu,” I moaned. I couldn’t think, couldn’t focus. I couldn’t string words together. I was cum drunk, and for the first time, I might’ve been far gone enough to admit it.
“That’s it,” he said gently. “Come on y/n. Let go, let go for a man, it’s okay.”
“I c-can’t-“ I felt like I could almost cry but I felt so good.
“No, it’s okay, feel me fuck this load deeper,” he coaxed me. He was still pumping in and out of me. My legs spread even more. I looked down at my quivering cock.
“Please pull out,” I begged as he hit the sweet spot over and over.
“Why?” Lee huffed desperately.
“Pull out,” I whined in the most bratty tone I’d ever used.
“Why?” He demanded of me.
“Because I’m gonna cum, alright? I’m going to fucking CUM!”
“Cum.”
It was the most simple, easy, plain command in the world, but I think I was addicted to him. My body obeyed. I arched upwards. I couldn’t help focusing on the place where his dick was still up my ass. My cock bounced and painted my stomach white. I was whimpering like a fucking slut as I came. I was so, so, so gay.
“See,” Lee said with a huge grin. “I knew I could.”
He dipped down and licked a stripe through the puddle. He lifted his face and kissed me. My own cum swirled around our mouthes. I was unabashed now, moaning and drooling into the kiss. I wrapped my legs around him and my hands dove into his hair. I felt like I could never separate from him now. I wanted my insides to be the shape of his cock.
“Make it a little easier on me next time baby,” he chuckled. As he kissed my cheeks.
“My step brother just came inside my ass,” I moaned.
“Your step brother is going to be doing a lot more to you, trust me on that,” he winked.

Everywhere, Everything - D.DIXON
DESC : You and Daryl, who have known each other since the start finally reunite in the Commonwealth after months apart.
CONTAINS : pure fluff, literally just fluf
SEASON 11
After months of what the Commonwealth soldiers called, ‘re-processing’ aka, tedious, unnecessary bullshit, you finally were given some hospitality in the town. An apartment of your own, which you hadn’t had at Hilltop. The privacy was a nice change, but right now you just really wanted to see your friends; your family.
You were informed slightly about all of the others from the Communites that had arrived before you. People that you had seen not that long ago at Hilltop, and some that you hadn’t seen in a little less than a year from Alexandria. A certain person in specific from Alexandria, that you missed horribly.
You settled your belongings in the small apartment, before heading down into the center of town. It was busy and bustling with all kinds of people. It reminded you so much of before the outbreak.
It took you embarrasingly long to realize it was Halloween day. Kids were running around, dressed up in little costumes carrying pumpkin heads or little bags filled with sweets and candy.
You continued walking around, taking in all of the little shops set up with games and things for the kids to enjoy. And that was when you spotted him. Daryl Dixon, swinging something on a string to your nephew, RJ.
You paused, staring as people moved around you, laughing and talking. He was smiling, laughing at the little boy in front of him.
The earth felt like it had stopped, because out of everyone you wanted to see, Daryl Dixon was at the top of your list. And now he was stood a little over 20 feet away.
You slowly approached him, a big grin on your face as you weaved through the crowds. RJ grinned as he saw you come closer, nodding to his uncle to turn around.
Daryl raised an eyebrow at his nephew, but turned and saw you stood in front of him. His eyes practically lit up, widening.
“Holy shit.” He murmured, leaning down slightly to quickly wrap his arms around your lower torso, lifting you up and pulling you into his body.
You giggled as your feet left the ground, smiling and wrapping your arms around his neck. You could feel the ends of his brown hair tickling your forearms. The feeling of his calloused hands wrapped around your lower back, one hand resting on each side of your hip sent butterflies to your stomache.
“Hi, Dixon.” You laughed over his shoulder. He spun you once, before carefully lowering you back onto your feet.
“Fuck, where’ve ya been? They didn’t hurt ya or nothin’, right?” He asked, his tone shifting from excitement to concern, as he released your waist and scanned your figure, his rough hands resting on the sides of your face and curving to fit on your jaw.
You laughed, your hands holding onto his wrists and giving them a gentle squeeze, “I’m good. Just got a bit caught in all that reprocessing shit.” You explain, nodding at him reassuringly.
He grinned at your response, nodding and pulling your head down and closer to place a kiss on the crown of your head. After he kissed your head, you just looked at each other for a few seconds, before RJ came running over, crashing into your ribs.
“Hey Junior. How ya been?” You smiled, sending Daryl a happy glance as you held your nephew.
“I’ve been okay.” He responded calmly, shrugging his shoulders a bit as he hugged you. He had gotten a lot taller since you last saw him.
“Okay?” You asked, raising an eyebrow with mock concern. RJ pulled away from you, nodding with another shrug, “Uncle Daryl’s not a good cook.” He explained. Daryl sent his nephew a look.
“Stop.” Daryl said to the boy, giving him a slight nudge. You snorted, smiling at the two.
“And he snores real loud.” RJ added on, Daryl made a humming noise, interrupting his nephew. Of course, you already knew Daryl snored from previous.. sleepovers with the man.
“Okay, ‘nough. Go play with Ezra.” Daryl said, pointing to Jerry’s band of kids jumping around on hay. Daryl give him a nudge in that direction. RJ turned, sticking his tongue at his uncle before heading over to join the other kids.
“Bad cook, huh?” You asked with a teasing tone, tilting your head and raising an eyebrow.
He scoffed, “Kids makin’ shit up.”

STAR
gif isn’t mine, it’s: @beautifulbutler
Pairing: Peyton Leverett x female!reader/you
+18 (smut, blowjob, going down in a girl, y’know the drill)
Summary: You decide to help Peyton out on his new project, you’ll be his subject, or as he calls you, his star. Things take a turn when you give him a more exciting thing to film.
You met Peyton once in Central Park, you had tripped over and all the contents of your bag had basically fallen out your bag. He helped you and since he was hot, you started talking to him. Hanging out with him.
He told you all about his short and long films, about how his teacher loved them. And how his hobby was still heavily involved with the career he studied in NYU. He told you that he was looking for another person to film and he said you were interesting.
You didn’t know if to feel flattered or insulted, did he see something interesting in a weird or a cool way? Whatever it was, it meant that Peyton had his eyes set on you, and you liked it. So you agreed.
You were just going to help a friend out, right?
So you made sure to look your best as you got ready, fixing your hair a thousand times in front of the mirror, applying different lipsticks, changing a thousand times. Suddenly you had forgotten what colors he liked.
Maybe helping a friend out didn’t mean shaving, or using your best perfume.
But even the taxi driver complimented your perfume, the smell that impregnated his small taxi. Happy that the old man, who spent the whole ride saying that you remembered him of his daughter.
You finally made it to Peyton’s apartment studio, taking deep breaths, you knocked and he opened the door.
“Hi, sorry but the traffic was horrible.” You apologized for being exactly ten minutes late.
“Don’t worry, it’s fine. I have all day.” Peyton let you in, smiling. His studio apartment was neat, not the most clean you’ve seen but you’ve seen worse. He had his camera in his desk, you sat down on in front of the window where he had a small chair.
“Nothing is rehearsed or script. I’ll just ask you some questions and you answer them.”
“I don’t think the camera likes me so much.” You chuckled, putting strand of your hair behind your ear.
“Doesn’t matter. We’ll make it work. Remember, you are my star today.” He pointed at you with a smile.
You smiled, feeling flattered. His star. Just his. He started recording you, making zooms of your face as you fixed yourself once again.
He asked rather normal questions, your age, your name, your hometown. You could ramble about your hometown and family for hours.
“Why did you come to New York?” Peyton asked, zooming into your face.
“Well, I want what everyone wants when they come to NYC. Success. I believed that it would be very different from my hometown. It is, but everyone here is different too. You don’t just stand out in a crowd, and because everyone here is so different, you get lost in between all the faces.”
You said, coming to New York with big aspirations only for them to be shattered as you find out that everyone here came with the same dream.
“A dreamer. I like it.” Peyton chuckled. “And your parents? Did they support you?”
“My dad did, he drove me all the way from my hometown to Madison Square Garden. My mother, I think it was hard for her. She definitely didn’t know what I would be up to. She probably thought I would end up as an exotic dancer…” you laughed, covering your mouth.
“Don’t. It’s pretty and it makes it more raw.” Peyton said, smiling at you. “My teacher likes it when the films focus on the real subject.”
You nod, licking your lips and continuing to speak. “Yes. I know she misses me, that she can’t stop thinking of me. I guess she worries, when you tell your mother that you dance at a club, they think the worse. And I get it. But I like it. I like dancing in the club, I’m not a stripper or a hooker. I just like being on stage. It’s not Broadway but I belong there.”
Peyton was basically enamored by you, more than being his subject, he had made it obvious that you were his star. The two of you had a break to eat, ordering Chinese food as you sat on a small table he had.
“The camera loves you. And I’m sure my teacher will too.” Peyton spoke, his mouth full.
“I never thought I would get this sincere, it’s strangely freeing.” You say, you tried to reach for a napkin but end up knocking the bottle of soda down. Wetting everything. “Shit! Sorry, let me—”
“There’s a rag on my desk.” Peyton tried to remain calm. He hated messes but, it was you. He didn’t care.
You nodded, going to his desk and scanning for a towel or something. Going through the first drawers, your eyes widened at the sight of lotion and Playboy magazines.
“Damn, you’ve been spending your money right.” You said, smirking.
“That’s private. Thank you.” Peyton practically rushed by your side, wanting to take the magazines from you.
“I don’t even want to see why they’re sticked together.” You laugh again. His face was flushed.
“I like having options. And they’re only fourteen dollars anyways.”
You turned to face him. You know, since he mentioned how the film would be filmed, you couldn’t help but think of the Audition format in porn videos.
You know, you get to the audition couch, you sit down. They ask you to slowly strip down until you’re butt naked. They compliment you, then they proceed to fuck you senseless while recording you.
You wouldn’t have done it with anyone else. But it was Peyton. You yearned for him to do that.
“You’ve ever done anything else apart from interviews?” You asked him, as he sat behind the camera.
“Yes? I don’t do much. It’s my style.”
“You’ve never had any girl flirt with you? I don’t know.”
“I haven’t brought many girls here. Only the other girls that live here.” Peyton shrugged his shoulders.
“Oh, so you have brought girls back.” You teased him with a smirk. He blushed, his cheeks and ears were pink.
“Yes, I have. Is that a crime? A guy has needs.” He confessed while chuckling, a bit ashamed. But they were friends, right? “Look, I’m just doing this to practice. I guess. For fun too. That’s why I’m letting you swear.”
“So, you’re telling me that you’ve never thought of ever filming yourself having sex?” You asked, staring right at him.
“I’ve thought of it. But— I’m scared of one day sending that video to my professor. Or showing Sharpay the wrong video.”
“It could be fun. Just saying.”
It was just harmless fun, was it not?
“Are you sure?” He asked you. Just imagining you on all fours in his bed made his jeans feel tighter.
“Damn sure.” Peyton didn’t waste a minute in closing his curtains and placing the camera on his desk, recording his bed.
It didn’t take long before you two were making out on the bed. He appeared to be extra hungry for this kind of feeling. The lust, the edge, everything. Perhaps NYU had been everything in his mind lately that he forgot he could have fun too.
And you? Too many lonely nights in your miserable no-bedroom apartment. Too many miserable nights watching whatever FOX was playing.
So when you got the chance to touch Peyton’s hard cock, you didn’t waste it. He grunted as you touched it and squeezed it lightly. His tongue fighting yours as he grabs your face to keep you close. Unbuttoning his pangs, you get yourself on top of the bed completely.
But he was significantly stronger, making it easier for him to pin you down on the bed. His lips making their way to your neck. There’s a chill going down your spine. When was the actual last time you time you had sex? Because you don’t even remember it.
“You smell so good.” He groaned on your neck, leaving love bites wherever he pleased. He was quick go pull down your skirt, leaving you in just your panties. He moved on to take off your shirt, his mouth going directly to your breasts, sucking on them.
“You taste so good.” He muttered against your skin. He took off your bra quickly, his hand agile enough to do it in a snap. He kissed softly, your neck, your chest, your stomach, until he reached your underwear.
One of his hands found their way to your clothed and wet slit, his fingers softly gracing your throbbing pussy. He began rubbing you softly through the panties, gently and not really following a pattern, but making you feel like you were about to touch heaven.
“Do you like that?” He purred softly, his head turning to look at the camera for a few seconds. Making sure it was recording.
“Y-yes…” you whispered softly, making his press his fingers even more, you whined in response.
“Talk louder or the camera won’t pick it up, baby.” He said, his tone a bit forceful.
You didn’t answer. That only made him basically pull your panties down, pulling your thighs apart, the camera getting a one-person pov of your throbbing pussy. His finger immediately went to your sensitive bud, circling with slow touches.
You moaned even louder, your back arching as your hair became a mess underneath you. You began panting, and he was just rubbing you.
“I’ll make you feel good for the camera. It will love seeing you moan for me.” Peyton muttered as he kept rubbing your core before suddenly stopping. You whined, but he didn’t give you much enough time to think before he moved you around the bed, making sure you laid correctly as she positioned his head between your legs, kissing your pelvis, your thighs until his mouth found your core.
His tongue flicking in and out as he devoured you relentlessly, tasting you whole. He knew was he was doing, attacking your sensitive pussy, he wanted to capture how you had been the one with the idea yet you had let him posses you. How you squirmed under him and only him. How he had this sort of power over you. His tongue moving in ways you didn’t know it could, as you felt yourself coming undone over him. You grabbed his blond locks, so that he wouldn’t tease you again and stop without warning. Bucking your hips against his face.
“I’m gonna, I’m gonna!—“ and you finished, he devoured your orgasm as if he were a thirsty man. Tasting your sweet cum on his lips and tongue. You were left panting, but not for long as he suddenly crawled on top of you, capturing your lips for yet another kiss.
He took off his pants and threw them anywhere, taking off his tshirt, and his boxers. He was well endowed, very well-endowed. Grabbing his cock with his hand, he didn’t waste a single second before entering you. Making him groan loudly, and you whimpered, your eyes rolling at the back of your head. He started off slow, very slow, so you’d get used to his size. You felt his cock stretching every single part of your right pussy, if he wasn’t made for you and you for him then you don’t know who else could match up.
“You’re so good for me. So eager.” He said, before grabbing your chin and making you look at the camera in the desk. “The camera loves you, can’t you see?”
His pace started to escalate. His thrusts were a bit more determined and strong. Your hips rolling too. One of his hands went to your breasts, tracing the outline of them, pinching your nipples.
“So perfect for me. So perfect for the camera.” He said, his mouth going to kiss your breast. The sound of skin slapping against one another filled the studio apartment. “I’ll ruin you for other guys. They won’t have a thing on me, I promise you that.” He basically groaned out, oh, he wanted you all for himself.
His pace and thrusts became more rapid, deep and harsh, making you squirm around him as you moaned. Were you trying to control yourself? No, you wanted all the girls that ever flirted with him that you were marking territory. As weird as that may sound, you wanted Peyton all for yourself. Because, how could you ever let his guy go?
His body slamming into yours, feeling your walls tightening around his cock. You two were lost on each other, the way his face was buried on your neck, just wanting to never forget how you smelled, how you taste, how you sound.
A minutes later, you both finished at the same time. He buried himself as deep as he could, filling her up.
“Peyton…”
“Y/n…”
They both repeated out of breath, almost in the way you would say amen after a prayer. He laid on top of you for a few seconds, his hand rubbing your cheek. He let you rest for a few minutes.
“I’ll reward you, and I’ll give you the best closing scene.” You told him. As you sat up from the bed, your legs trembling a little, grabbing his camera from the desk and giving it to him.
He stood up from the bed too, confused as he held the camera. He was confused until he saw you kneel you in front of him. Just the sight of you going on your knees made him get hard again. The camera was huge but that did not stop him from finding a good angle.
“You’re a star.” He said, his thumb tracing your bottom lip.
“You said I was your star today.” You said, as you leaned to place small kisses on his pelvis, he resisted the urge of already making her swallow his cock whole.
“You like what you see, baby?” He asked, his cock on full display for you and the camera to see. He gripped her hair, tangling in his hands. “Be a good baby. Show the camera how good you are to me.” He purred.
You licked his dripping tip, before slowly wrapping your lips on his cock, moaned and groaned. Oh, you were good.
“F-fuck.” He moaned, but he kept the camera steady. He wouldn’t have to buy Playboy magazines anymore. “You were made for the camera. Look at you.”
You never bit him or hurt him, you were just perfect, you just had the most perfect mouth. Made just for him, just for his size, just for his cock.
“I’m not going to last very long…” He warned you, bucking his hips too, making you gag, your eyes watery as you were relentlessly sucking him down. His body was tense, in need to release himself. You looked up at him with your widened eyes. Oh, he got off on that too, it nearly made him cum on your throat right then in there.
“I can’t- I won’t last…” He forced out his voice, strained. You couldn’t help but pull away from him for a moment. He gasped, trying to keep himself on control. You stared up at the camera.
“Swallow or face?” You asked him. Just the image of him coming all over your face or making you swallow made him even more weaker.
“Face.” He said quickly. He would rather watch the video in repeat on his you’re covered in his cum than having to imagine you swallowing.
You nod. You spat in your own hand. Now using your hand to please him. Waiting for him to have his climax. It didn’t take long before his face contracted. His cum all over her face.
“Oh… God!” He groaned.
You licked your lips. You never allowed guys to finish in your face. Not even. You didn’t even blow them. But Peyton, damn, he deserved it. He kept recording you, your beautiful face all drenched in his juices. He stopped recording and placed the camera on his bed.
He pulled you up to you feet and kissed you, tasting himself as his tongue made his way into your own mouth. He pulled away. His thumb cleaned your cheek, recollecting some of his cum in it, he brought it to your lip, making you lick it clean.
“I think I’ll need you to star in more of my films.”
Author’s note: this was the most embarrassing things I’ve ever written. I don’t ever write this ‘overly-detailed’ smut. But I tried. This was oh-so-deeply inspired by Austin’s character in NCSI: New York too. Where he plays a porn star.
I hope you guys like it! Love you all! 🫶💕

Stephanie Brown and Damian Wayne
Damian's drawing of people who loves him personally offended me when i saw the lack of Talia (but fucking Ra was there! So ridiculously absurd), Duke, Jason and more importantly in my opinion the lack of STEPHANIE BROWN! Barbara and Rose Wilson never had the bond he had with Stephanie not even Cassandra and im specially Salty about Maya because all the fuss about the "adoptive sister" That showed up right in the messed up new 52 as if Stephanie wasn't literally the fucking first big sister figure he had, this is so insulting giving the fact that STEPHANIE WAS HIS BATGIRL:
The Batman's no-daughter and Damian first big sister, Steph is a Bat member that is placed along Batman's children but she was never adopted and we could say she is kinda in the same position as Barbara, they can only become official daughters if they become daughters in law.
I firmly believe that Damian can't be placed along all the people that personally wronged Stephanie because... Damian has been an arrogant jerk with absolutely every hero he has met, he looked down on his own father at first, the fucking Batman! So he literally didn't discriminate Stephanie, because even if he tried to insult her saying he was disappointed to see she wasn't Cassandra, when he actually met Cassandra he tried to undermine her as well so to me that comparation doesn't have the same weight as when she was constantly compared to other heroes by other certain characters.
The little time they had together in the Batgirl run was way too precious, the teasing and the banter and how they worked together was so good! Stephanie was so good to him! She got him to be able to behave like a kid because she noticed he didn't even know how to play, she got him to play with him in a bouncing castle, she wanted him to smile, they worked together to save Dicks Batman and i always laugh when Damian teases her about "not having a big chest", Damian dear you were so fixated on that for no reason... Maybe Steph was also his first platonic crush... I think the second was Supergirl 😂😂.
(I miss them when they were like this... I miss them everyday 😭😭😭😭)
DCeased wasn't exactly one of my favorite comics regarding plot but it has a special place in my heart for being currently the only alternative universe that represented this sibling relationship as it was always meant to be until the disappointing death that was supposed to be solved by Talia and never happened as if they forgot.
That universe gave us a beautiful present and that was the very first time someone (wonder girl Cassie) officially acknowledged Stephanie as Damians big sister and not to mention the hug! 🥺🥺🥺 he actually let himself being comforted in her arms and hugged her back, when he saw her he even called her "Steph" Not "Brown" Or "Spoiler/Batgirl" and oh my god she became his Robin 🥲 and to me she is just the perfect Robin to his Batman after all... She was also the Batgirl to his Robin.
Another thing i want to point out, when Alfred was murdered Dick still didn't have all his memories, Jason was just too angry and Tim didn't do much, Barbara isn't that close to Damian so I think they totally should have used Stephanie here, Damian really could have used a big sister... Again wasting her character but I guess they wanted to use only the closest people to Alfred and sadly it looks like Steph isn't one... But she is an important person to Damian no matter how much DC wants to erase her, she will never dissapear! I can't believe Barbara and Rose Wilson and that pop out of nowhere post new 52 Maya are in that drawing of people who makes Damian feel loved BUT NOT STEPHANIE!! Even the horrible RA is there?! But not his mother or HIS FIRST AND IN MY OPINION BEST BIG SISTER FIGURE STEPHANIE!!! DC YOU HAVE A LOT TO ATONE FOR 😤😤😤😠😠😠😠
Fortunately the author of the webtoon family Wayne adventures has a better understanding of this and gave us the precious moments they deserve:
In my head this is Stephanie with her 3 best boys, the ex, the little platonic brother that might had or might not had a platonic crush on her and who i think is her very soulmate ❤💜

Nothing Good Happens After 2am
Notes: This is a request from Anon, I hope you are happy with it. As usual thank you for all the feedback and please continue to send feedback and requests.
Summary: You and Mason broke up 6 months ago. When your friend leaves you and you loose everything on a night out Mason's was the only number you could remember. Will he come and save you? Could you rekindle your relationship?
Pairings: Mason Mount x Reader
Word Count: 4.9K
Warnings: Fluff, Angst and a little Smut, Mentions of Miscarriage (does not go into great detail)
Mason POV:
It had been another horrible Wednesday night kick off, sat on the bench and no game time once again, the press are going to have a field day again with all this. I really cannot cope with anymore bad statements written, its really starting to have an effect me now. I walk through my front door and the loneliness hits me as I walk in. Its been 6 months since you and y/n broke up and days like today you could really do with her optimism and beautiful smile saying “fuck the press” and “Don’t listen to them look how many people support you, we are all proud that’s all that matters. I am your biggest fan!” but not today I do not get those words of encouragement. I just want an early night, so I shower and make myself something easy for dinner and crawl into bed. I hate how quiet the house is, there was always something going on with you, you were either on facetime to your family, or singing along to your headphones whilst you cook or clean, or even asking me about my day there was constant chatter but today silence. My bed is so cold, I cannot even bring myself to sleep on your side still at the moment. I put ‘How I Met Your Mother’ on the TV for background noise as I try to fall asleep, it was our favourite TV show it was our comfort show that we used to watch over and over again I watch it now to hope that it would give me some kind of familiarity, it reminds me of you. I am curling up in bed hoping that I can fall asleep soon, when I heard during the episode ‘nothing good happens after 2am’. This is where all the memories of you come flooding back, because that statement couldn’t be more true. Nothing good ever happens after 2am especially when it comes to me and you, our car accident occurred at 2:30am when a drunk driver served us off the road coming back from an event together, you almost died that night and I have never been so scared in my life. The night we had our first fight occurred at 4:30am and the night we broke up well that was 3am. So yes I defiantly agree nothing good happens after 2am, well that was until tonight.
The next thing I knew I was being woken up by my phone ringing, it was a mobile number that wasn’t saved. I declined the call, and looked at the time who the hell is ringing met at 3am in the morning? The number rang again, I didn’t want to answer it but whoever it was calling clearly wanted my attention. “h-h-hello m-m-mason?” I could hear the soft voice on the other end of the phone, it sounded desperate and scared. I knew that voice. “y/n” I couldn’t believe its you after 6 months my heart starts beating erratically. “I am sorry to wake you, I know its early in the morning” I interrupt you straight away “Please do not apologise, I am glad you called. Can I ask whats wrong? I do not see you ringing me just to say hey and off a different number”. At that I yawn starting to wake up and run a hand through my bed hair to get it out my face. You giggled at that, it was one of those fake laughs that you used to do when your life was falling apart but still trying to smile. “Um it’s a long story.. I don’t even know Mase”. You start crying, I just want to hold you I hate when you cry. “I went out clubbing with Brittany and she met this guy and left me to hook up with him”. “I always hated that Brittany” I spat at you she was an awful selfish friend to you, you always deserved better. “I know you do Mase but right now I don’t need that I told you so speech” you say sternly. “Sorry” I say defeated and let you continue. “I came outside to ring her, I kept ringing her but she didn’t answer. That’s when this group of guys came over they saw me sad, obviously knew I was on my own and vulnerable. One of the guys punched me, and they took my phone and bag”. At this you started breaking. At the idea of someone hurting you like that, and all because that Brittany left you, I was so angry and I started to put my shoes and get dressed whilst you continued. “Luckily I didn’t take any bank cards with me as I used contactless on my phone, but my bag had my hotel room key in and now there is no receptionist until 7am and I have no way of getting into the hotel and no way to pay for another, my ankle is on fire where I landed on it when I got punched. I just don’t know what to do Mase, its my first time back in Manchester since we broke up I just cannot do this!” You then start to scream cry I just want to hold you I need to go to you. I cannot believe you are in Manchester! I put the word out to those in Manchester and for people to notify me if she goes why did no one tell me? Its my turn to speak “I am ready, where am I going to get you?” “Don’t be silly Mason, I only called you because it was the only number I remember can you call my dad and he will come and get me?” At that I am offended I get the break up wasn’t great terms but you woke me up, there was obviously more of a reason then that. “Your dad is 3 hours away, by the time he gets to you it will be sunrise and I am guessing you need your car to go home with so you might as well just let me come get you then we can sort something out for tonight so you can get all your stuff from the hotel tomorrow”. You know I am right, so you let me know the address and agreed to wait outside until I get there. I insisted you to stay inside as its cold, but you said you just wanted to get out of there so it will make it quicker to stand outside.
I have never driven so fast in my life, all our memories together came flooding back I cannot believe I get to see you, after the longest 6 months I get to see the love of my life again. I pull up outside the club and see you in the skimpiest dress and the highest heels which you have now taken off and holding in your hand. This isn’t you I thought. I wind down my window “What the hell are you wearing?” You roll you eyes “Don’t start Mason” and hobble over to the passenger side. When you are inside I look straight at your ankle, it looks swollen probably a sprain. Your face is all red and puffy from the obvious crying and the left side of your face has gone red and swollen where that prick punched you. God if I ever find out who did this to you. I thought.
Readers POV:
You saw Masons Land Rover pull up, he had a hoodie on obviously trying to not get spotted. When I got inside the car, I looked over at him. He has let his hair grow longer and there is so much worry in his eyes. God he is so gorgeous not sure if this was the alcohol talking or not but I just want to jump across the car and kiss him. “You hungry?” He askes “Its like you read my mind Mount I am starvinggggg” That came out a little more confident then I expected but he shot me a smile which melted my heart. Damn you Mase all these feelings are coming back. “You fancy a Maccys?” He asks “Oh yeah I defo could eat a double cheeseburger and chicken nuggets right now but are you sure cause I can see the headlines now ‘Mason Mount is spotted having a late night maccys what will United think?’” He laughs at this “I said did you want a Maccys I didn’t say I am having one, I am not putting that shit in my body but I know you love it when you drunk”. Awww I love how you remember, you were always so good to me. Then it hits me I haven’t got any money on me. “Mason my cards are in the hotel room, I have no money don’t worry honestly”. He gives me a small reassurance smile “Don’t be silly its my treat, or if it would make you feel better you can pay me back when you got a new phone sorted”. We both knew he would never let me pay him back but I am too tired and hungry to argue.
We ordered the Maccys and decided its best to sit in the car and eat it so the car so Mason doesn’t get recognised. As I am munching away on my burger and chicken nuggets and I can slowly feel the alcohol wearing off. “Where am I taking you now?” He asks, I can feel my eyes starting to water “I have no idea Mase, my car keys and cards are inside my hotel room that I have no key card for so I am pretty fucked if I am being honest. I can use your phone to contact Brittany through socials again and see if she is around so I can go to her hotel or if you can drop me outside my hotel I can sleep outside until the reception opens?” Mason gives me a disappointed look “Absolutely not! My house is big enough you can sleep in one of the guest rooms please you are not sleeping on the streets or going back to that bitch”. I gave in it was cold I really just wanted to curl up in a bed. I give Mason a smile and a nod I just don’t know what to say. I never had this issue before we used to tell eachother everything and now I feel myself getting nervous. Mason yawns and runs a tired hand through his hair. “I am sorry for dragging you out this time, I really do appreciate it thank you”, “I would be offended y/n if you were in Manchester in need and you didn’t ring me” he laughed which I made a little laugh back to it. I just remembered shit “Shit sorry you had a game this evening, I am sorry I feel even worse now you must be exhausted sorry Mase how did it go?” now I just feel like a burden. He doesn’t make eye contact and just looks down “Don’t worry about it, didn’t get off the bench” he said this in such a harsh tone and basically spat it out, I hate when he is hard on himself. I grabbed Mason’s hand and run his fingers through mine “Stop that you just getting back from injury you cannot just come back to full time games and scoring 1000s of goals again give yourself time Mase, and just remember I am still your number one fan!”. I winked at the last part and Mason smiled I could tell he needed that more then I know.
We pulled into his driveaway and parked up “wait here 2 secs” and he quickly runs upto the house Great I thought he going to tell his girlfriend that I am here or quickly run his slag out or something. But he opened the door, I could tell where he was standing he was typing in the security alarm code and then came running back to the car. He opened the passenger door for me and held his hand out to help me get out the car. I winced at the sudden pain of putting pressure on my right ankle, he puts a hand tight against my back and carries me bridal style into the house. I forgotten how good he smells. He slowly lowers me to the ground being careful of your ankle, your dog Roco comes running through the house. He was a chocolate Labrador which you and Mason got when we first moved in, Mason said it was to keep me company when he was away which he definitely did, I let Mason keep him when we broke up as he was too much of a memory of Mason for me to keep. I was too broken. Roco bolted on top of you causing you to fall over due to lack of balance on your ankle which he gets on top of you licking away at your face. “Get off her Roco!” Mason shouts at the dog with authority and helps you up. “Its okay Mase, I have missed him” carrying on stroking him. “Well you have had enough injuries today I do not need my dog to add to that”. I looked at Mason in shock “Your dog?” I question. I thought he was OUR dog.
Mason supported me to walk up the stairs until we got the upstairs landing, “did you want a shower? You must be frozen” I know Mason asked that last bit as a question even though he can feel how cold I am as his hands are around my shoulders. “Yeah that sounds great I just don’t know how long I will be able to stand on my ankle its in agony”. Mason walks me over to the bed the bed we used to share. He crouches in front of me to look at my ankle he starts wiggling it and pushing on it which is causing me to moan in pain. “Sorry” he sends me a sympathetic look and rubs my hand in assurance that he isn’t meaning to hurt me, which I know Mason would never hurt me. “It doesn’t look broken its probably just a sprain, it looks like a bad sprain though due to the amount of swelling. Come to training with me tomorrow afternoon so I can get the physios to look at it for.” He got back up and supported me up so I was standing in front of him “Honestly Mase its fine I am sure after a couple of days it will be fine I don’t need to come to training with you”, “Y/n I insist I would rather know they have checked you out, its just gym training so I won’t be there long and then I can take you back to your hotel afterwards. Please if you not doing that at least let me take you to the hospital”. He knows how much you hate sitting in the hospitals so you gave in “Fine I will come with you tomorrow thanks”. “Are you going to report the attack to the police?” I shake my head “No point, they only stole my phone and hotel room key which there are 100s of hotels in Manchester so its not like they going to know which one it is, I will let the hotel know tomorrow and my phone there is nothing they can do”. Mason looked at you with concern “But they hit you y/n they need to pay for what they did to you.” He said that with a authority but I know he is only saying it to care. “I cannot even remember what they looked like, one minute they are coming towards me next thing I am on the floor and they are running off, the police are not going to be able to do anything without a positive ID plus they had hoodies on so its not like CCTV can pick it up. I appreciate your concern though”.
“Did you want some help to shower?” I looked at Mason shocked, we haven’t been that intimate in 6 months I am taken aback by that comment. Mason laughs and looked down and I can see a little blush. “Not like that y/n, just that you said it yourself you are not sure how you are going to shower with your ankle, and you need to shower you are frozen. You are clumsy at the best of times I do not need you slipping due to balancing on one foot”. Mason laughs as he knows what I am like, I nod my head as I know I am not going to win this argument. He turns me around and unzips my dress. I suddenly feel very exposed, Mason suddenly chucks me his dressing gown I look down and see its got the Man United badge on it “Making me betray (your football teams name) now” Mason laughs as he knows how much you love your football team.
You hobbled into the bathroom and turned the shower on, you hung the dressing gown on the door and stepped under the shower. His shower was always beautiful I don’t know why it was always the best shower. I can feel the hot specks of water running down my skin, suddenly warming me up. I needed this more then I thought. Mason walks in naked and comes to join me in the shower. I looked him up and down and suddenly start blushing, we have showered so many times together and been a lot more intimate then that before so not sure why I am so nervous. He giggles “you should take a picture it would last longer”. This makes me blush even more “Well I have had those pictures, but luckily I deleted them otherwise the people who stole my phone could of hacked it and it would have been all over the news by now ‘Mason Mounts Nudes Leaked!’ He laughs at that grateful you did delete them. It was photos we would send eachother whilst he was away when we needed some intimacy. “Well maybe in light of everything that has happened I should delete yours just in case” He winks at me. He still has my pictures.
He quickly grabs my body wash from under the sink “You left all your stuff here when you left, I thought I would keep it you know just in case. I am glad I did now”. He puts the body wash on my body and starts rubbing it in. His touch is like ecstasy, him touching my body like that brings back all these memories again. I turn to look at him so he can wash my front then I can see him looking at me up and down, I can feel him blushing. Then he starts looking at my lips and back up to my eyes again, he does this a couple of times then next thing you know his lips are crashing to me. He pulls away to check its okay, at this moment in time all I care about is him. I put my arms around his neck and pull his body into mine and feel him start to harden at the kiss. He pushes me into the wall and grinds his body into mine so I can feel his new harden length digging into me. As I breathe for air his lips are now attacking my neck, as he pushes me up against the wall. My ankle is causing me so much pain but at the moment all I can think about his him. His mouth goes back to mine and I can feel his tongue in my mouth. I have forgotten how sexy he was. Before I know it, his fingers are inside me they are going slow at first and then he starts to pump harder “fuck” I mutter. I forgotten how good his fingers are. I pull my fingers through his hair which makes him go faster. I can feel myself start to get close then reality brings me back what am I doing? We cannot be doing this we are not together. “Mase” I say in hopes to stop it, at the whisper of his name he just hums into my neck. “Mase, stop”. I say a big louder this time. As soon as Mason heard this he pulled his fingers out of me and quickly separated himself away from me. He looks scared “Did uh did I hurt you?” He looks confused. You smile to get him some reassurance. “No god no Mase. It felt incredible actually. Just we cannot be doing this its going to make it a whole lot more complicated. I am sorry for leading you on”. Mason shakes his head “Don’t be silly, I just could never resist you, I am sorry. Lets just finish the shower”.
He finished your shower and you agreed you will get dressed while he quickly showers. You hobble over to the bed in your towel and see that Mason as left one of his United Shirts and a pair of his boxers on the bed that you could wear. You are quickly getting dressed with Mason walks in. He turns to you “You are making it really hard to resist you, you know you wearing my clothes was always my weakness”. You laugh at this, you can see the specks of water running down his chest which makes your heart beat He is so sexy. “Back at you Mount, always were the most sexiest man”. I wink at him.
“stay in my bed tonight”, I shot a Mason a look of shock. He quickly justifies his reason “look you were punched in the face and hit your head you could have concussion I would rather you sleep with me so I know you are okay and like not going to die in the night” He laughs I know he only doing it to care but he always so dramatic. “Look you can even have Roco share the bed, I usually don’t let him up here but if it would make you feel comfortable knowing there is a dog between us.” He tries to reason. I give him a warm smile back “Okay that would be okay, if Roco could. I have missed him so much so I would love to fall asleep with him again”. Mason nods and gestures to me to get into bed whilst he shouts Roco and I can heat the pounding of feet up the stairs. Roco quickly waits for permission from Mason to get into bed damn he has trained him well. Once given the nod Roco jumps into bed and snuggles up with me, a tear slipped down my cheek on how much I have missed him. I quickly wiped it but the look Mason gave me I think he saw it.
We both lying in bed staring at the ceiling with Roco curled up between us, maybe this was a bad idea as I forgot how big Roco was and he is taking up all the room. “You know all bad things happen after 2am I still agree with that fact” I look at Mason and I know he laughs because of the irony of it. “I don’t know, I know you got hurt but all the events tonight still got you in my bed after 6 months so maybe I might need to retract that statement”. I look at him and giggle. Is he trying to flirt?. I can feel my eyes welling up “M-M-Mason what happened to us? Where did it all go so wrong?” He sits up in the bed cross legged so he is not looking over at me “I don’t know Y/N/N you are the one who ended it you tell me”. I am hurt at that, like he doesn’t know why I ended it, like he didn’t know all the issues we had.
I now sit up trying not to disturb Roco who is now snoring away, I carry on stroking him to ensure he stays in his sleep. “Come on Mason, we weren’t happy you know that. We were arguing constantly and the distance was getting to us. The hate we were both receiving was getting to both us. Look how nice and supporting you have been tonight you haven’t be like that in months.” You looked down “The miscarriage broke us Mase”. He looked down at that comment and I can see he was trying to hold it together and I can feel a tear run down my face. “I tried my best Mason, I lost our baby and you were constantly away, you were never around you threw yourself into training and were always out. I had to deal with it all on my own Mason, then when you were home we would shout do you know how hard that was? I had to walk away before I hated you Mason, cause I already hated myself for not giving you the one thing you wanted” at this I broke and started crying. Mason quickly leaped across the bed and put me into his lap and held me, he was rubbing my back. I can feel him crying too. Roco now woken up and curled back into us trying to comfort us. “I know I was distant I just didn’t know how to cope so I hid away. I was so excited to be a dad and was so excited for you to be the mother of my child but that was taken away from me, I just didn’t know what to do. That’s why I tried to throw myself into something because you needed me to be strong and I didn’t know how to be”. I bring his face up so our eyes meet mine “The problem is Mason you were just pushing me away, I needed you and you were no one to be found. I am miles away from my family so I had to cope with this on my own. I was all alone Mason I just didn’t know what else to be. I didn’t want to loose you, I wanted to walk away before you walked away from me”. Mason grabs my face and kisses me, I am shocked by this but return the kiss. I have waited 6 months for this. “I love you y/n I would of never left you. You broke my heart walking away. In the space of a month I lost baby and I lost you I was a mess. Ask Dec he had to ring me everyday to make sure I was out of bed”. I smile “I know, Dec messaged me everyday, who do you think was asking for the updates?” He smiles at that knowing you were still asking about him Damn I love this man.
I look over at the clock at the side of the room “Damn its 5:30am, we need to get some sleep you got training soon”. Mason nods and lies down on the bed which I do too. Mason looks over at me “Its fine, training not until lunchtime so we can still get a good couple of hours”. I nod that’s good I am going to struggle when that alarm goes off.
“How long are you down here for? What are your plans?” I am shocked Mason wants to talk I thought he would want to sleep. “I have no idea, I am supposed to be staying down and travelling home Sunday so I can go back to work, me and Brittany where going to go to your game on Saturday not going to lie”. I say a little embarrassed now. Mason gives me a small smile, I know he is happy at that. “Well how about I take you to training tomorrow to get your ankle looked at, I will take you back to your hotel to get a new key and all that and why don’t you just stay here? Mum and all the rest of the family are coming down tomorrow and are staying tomorrow night. Then I have training Friday but in the afternoon we are taking Mila and Summer to the zoo and then they staying for the game on Saturday. You don’t need to stay here you can stay at your hotel if its too awkward. But I know my family especially Mila and Summer will be so happy to see, and I bet Roco would love to spend time with his mummy”. The way he called me his mummy broke me, I forgotten how much I have missed my dog. I just wrap Roco up with that comment.
“That sounds amazing Mase, I would love to. If you wouldn’t mind I will stay here it saves me trying to get back from Manchester to Cheshire everyday. I would love to see your family I have missed them all so much” Mason smiles at that and brings you into his arms. “Maybe good things do happen after 2am”. You say. He spoons you to sleep as you feel yourself drifting to sleep. This is not the way you thought your night would go but you are so grateful it did.
