-this man will always look at you while he has the chance so you can expect him to pick up on your routines. sometimes he'll be present in the bathroom while you're doing your little hair pampering routine and he's like 'so what's that?' and points at a bottle and u have to explain it to him LMAO

-no matter what the length (hell you could be bald) leon loves your head because 1. it holds your pretty lil face 2. your HAIR

-and idk i just have a general hunch that this man just loves carding his fingers through your hair or your head a lot (as you can notice from my first works lol)

-and leon is MESMERIZED by your curls everytime. whenever leon is standing behind you at a queue or waiting for you to finish doing something, like say putting your makeup on, his hands will absentmindedly bounce on the ends of your curls and just watch them go boioioiioioing

-there was a time when you were at a night bar with leon and some other friends. you guys were sat on stools and your back was turned to him while you were conversing with your friend, and leon just kept bouncing the ends of your curly locks because it's like a satisfying fidget to him.

-he loves the shape, the texture, the way it feels in his fingers (especially when he pulls on it in bed oops im sorry hehe)

-and tbh what can i say? leon likes taking care of you and that can apply to different parts of your everyday life; before you go to sleep he reminds you to take your vitamins, and whenever you come home and he's there he will undo your shoelaces :3. but he will NEVER forget to brush your hair (especially if it's long as hell, he knows ur arms probably get tired brushing through it and applying product through it)

leon loves to approach his pretty girl while she's perched in front of the mirror. he sees you brushing your wet curly locks and, silently, walks up to you from behind. he's a rather silent man right now while he takes your hairbrush from your hands, your arm slowly stopping its brushing motions as you looked up at his reflection; him being behind you while his eyes are downcast to your locks. "and where's my love going?" he asks with a mild tease. he knows you're going out somewhere because you seem to smile a little more when you're anticipating some plans. you giggled while feeling leon gently brush your hair with tenderness. maybe by narration it sounds obscure, but he adores the back of your hair while you're rambling about your day so far and where you're heading off to next. "so she's a busy girl. hm?" leon grins slightly, eyes locked onto your soft hair while he helps in spreading moisturizing product (rather expensive product that leon willingly paid for u bc, well, he loves you like that) on your hair in moderate amounts, being careful not to accidentally pull your head back or something lol. his fingers tread and work caringly— and he even scratches his fingertips on your scalp lightly and briefly to top it off ♡ he continues the rest of the brief conversation with his thumb gently stroking your wispy baby hairs, and you're just so cute to him he just wants to eat u tbh

-and whether you want him to put some lil bows, ribbons, clips or extensions in it is up to you. you probably have an array of hair accessories and leon memorizes all of them. he knows when one is new and which ones are the ones you've always had in your dresser/vanity.

-speaking of, leon LOVES seeing you accessorize your hair. beads, hairclips, anything that furtherly charms your pretty hair literally makes him melt you have this man in an entirely different state of matter atp he just loves you sm argghh. one time you let him put some little butterfly clips in your hair after teaching him how they're clipped on and you had leon WHIPPED the entire time in front of that vanity ♡

-omfg and leon does this thing where whenever he's hugging or cuddling you from behind, he nuzzles his face in the back of your head and start inhaling your hair like you're some sort of freshly-washed pillow. it tickles a little for you and he can feel your frame repulsing or squirming in his arms but leon doesnt rlly care lol (he's kinda sorry)

-i feel like leon has more of a tendency to ruffle your curly hair if it's short, maybe like above shoulder length or something.

I love Goro Takemura and ship my fem V with him heavily - wrote a dope fanfiction about them called 'Broken' (and following parts 'Gimme Danger' and 'Last Caress'). Bits of trivia: I'm Czech, cis woman (bi & poly and, frankly, hyper), 32, in a relationship, mom to a 5yo boy, a writer struggling to finish and publish her first original novel, drowning her sorrows in fanfic instead :). I got to most of my fandoms quite late in life, because where I live this info only started to properly flow in with the coming of the internet. I'm usually a casual fan, though when I hit a gold vein I can get a bit obsessed. I love writing fanfiction, which is mostly why I'm here on this site. I self-insert a lot (therapy writing) and usually ship us, with the rare occasion of finding a couple where I can identify with one of them (or mold them to my image because I like or even fancy them). I've spent my life believing I was hetero and discovered I'm not only once I (finally) was in a hetero relationship and had a kid, so... my ships are also hetero. It's a habit, not hating, I don't discredit any gay ships (maybe quietly to myself when they don't make any sense to me character-wise, lol). My AO3 account: XindiChick I usually try to write even the most niche of my ships in a way that doesn't require much knowledge of the original, so you're welcome to browse and read to your heart's content if you happen to like my style. Once finally home, I throw my work stuff to the side before heading to the bedroom to change into something more comfortable. 

Whilst scrambling to find something to wear my phone starts to ring, I sigh before quickly throwing my hoodie on. I scramble to find my phone before seeing it's a video call from Mactavish. "Ah, there she is!" His thick Scottish accent bellows through the phone speakers. I can't help but smile upon seeing his stupid face light up my screen. "I was just about to call you," I say as I readjust myself on my bed as John messes around with his colleagues. "Aye, gimme a sec!" I nod to accept his comment as I just sit here watching boys being boys as usual. 

"Mactavish got a girlfriend?"

"Someone's tripping"

"Alright, yous can get tae fuck!"

I couldn't help but laugh at the comments. I think what made it so much better was his response. After a few minutes, it was just the two of us, as he had relocated into his room for more privacy. "I'm glad you found that funny" I laugh at his comment before shrugging. "Oh come on, lighten up Mactavish. I needed a good laugh after the day I've just had" "Alright, I'll let you aff" John then repositions to only a position that he knows has a certain effect on me. "Hey, that's not fair Johnny" A small smirk appears on his face before he reaches out for something. 

"You know I don't play fair by now. Just be a good girl for me, princess" He winks before he takes a bite from his apple. I roll my eyes before focusing my attention on ordering food. I was not going to let him win. 

After about 20 minutes, my food arrived, I propped my phone up on the counter as I sorted out my food. "Remember I'm going to be limited to how often I can access ma phone-" "I know we have done this drill before" We both exchange smiles before letting out a small laugh. "You'll have to take in every feature of ma face or take a photo" His blue eyes pierce through my soul just before he winks. "I think I have enough pictures of your stupid face" I smirk before taking a bite out of my food and leaning against the counter. "Aye, you mean like this one?" I scoff thinking that I'm going to be sent one of the many selfies we have. 

My phone pinged with the notification, though upon opening the notification, I instantly coughed almost choking. "Oh my god! you nearly killed me! Why have you even got that?! I told you to delete it years ago!" John just laughs, not realizing how serious the whole situation is. "Naw, ye know that you love it! But ye know -" He stops to take another bite. I can't believe this guy. Awaiting his reply, I roll my eyes. "You look so much better on that counter than leaning against it" Honestly can't believe him. I feel the heat in my cheeks rises, all I hear is him slightly. Probably has seen my cheeks turn red. 

"You're an asshole" I scoff before finishing my food and then tidying up. "That's naw what you were saying 24 hours ago" We are not giving in. We can do this Georgia. "Get on the counter, princess" I looked at my phone screen with a slight frown along with a raised brow. "No, I'm not falling for this Mactavish" I pick up my phone before walking over to the table and sitting down. I open up my laptop before propping my phone up.

Crap! how on earth was I going to reveal this to John? Shit! No, keep calm, we're not going to say anything to him just yet, we haven't even had a response back. Let's just wait until we hear back then go from there. 

I look down at my phone checking my notifications, slight worry takes over me as I haven't heard anything from him but I also know that the connection isn't great. I sigh as I unlock my phone and open up our text thread. As much as he was a complete dork I did miss Mactavish.

"Hey..I know you're busy with this mission but I hope everything is okay there. I haven't heard from you in a few days just checking up on you. I miss you.. ♡"

Should I start to worry? No, that's stupid because you have done this so many other times before and know how this works. He's a soldier and out on deployment like that's his job. Ugh, I need to find a life outside of Mactavish. Though the problem is, I don't have anyone else, it's been like that for as long as I can remember and I guess I was just happy to have met John. Yeah didn't meet in the most normal setting. It was only meant to be a no-strings-attached, one-night thing but years later..

God, I remember the first night we met like it was yesterday. Now we're the best of friends and sometimes inseparable. Not quite, I can't stand him and his annoying ass! God, I don't even know how he managed to befriend me because I hate people. No lie, maybe it was the sex? No, that would make me look..desperate?

I was replying to a work email on my phone while watching a film when a notification popped up at the top of my screen. He finally replied. A wave of relief washes over me. He's okay.

I couldn't help but smile at his response but I rolled my eyes at his response also because even when he is trying to sound like he cares it also comes across as him being the biggest jerk too. I miss him so badly right now. I need the company and I don't have anyone else that I'm just that comfortable being around like Mactavish. Maybe it's because I don't like being around people or like showing any emotions or it's my trust issues. God I don't even know how John has put up with me for so long. I am the most complicated person he's probably met.

I replied to him shortly after. I switched back to the email app I was on and continued to finish the email I was writing out for work. I can just imagine the response I will get back from him when he eventually does reply back. If I had to guess it would be something along the lines of me actually caring and worrying about only him and no one else because I'm not that heartless because somehow John knows me best and deep down I have a heart somewhere and one day he will bring it out..

“Agh, damn.”

Nero shakes his head and throws down the magazine he was perusing. That old man had been working in Nero’s garage for hours, tinkering with god-knows-what and constantly knocking things over if the loud sounds were anything to go by. Nero begrudgingly left Dante alone to do his things, and he’s surely regretting it.

The garage was already a mess, but he doesn’t want the devil hunter screwing it up any more than it needs to be.

Nero leaves the comfort of his lazy boy and heads to the garage. As he steps in, swinging the heavy door out and quickly shutting it behind him, he avoids looking at the dark brown stain on the floor— a reminder of a tragedy long ago.

No, that’s the past. This is the present, a present where he can walk in and tease his uncle over fucking up his tools

Nero saunters toward Dante, drinking in the sight of nuts and bolts, dirty rags, oil, screwdrivers, and his signature red coat strewn about. Cavaliere, Dante's new form of transportation, sits in the middle of the garage. He knows Dante knows he’s there, but his uncle doesn’t glance at him, too busy assessing the large shotgun in his hands.

“You havin’ fun?” Nero starts, leaning on the wooden workbench.

Dante hums, “Sure.”

He says nothing else, causing Nero to bite his lip. He gives it another go, “Don’t you think that bad boy is modded enough?”

Dante then sends him a smirk. “Ironic coming from you.” He laughs, holding up his prized Coyote-A. “Nah, I was only giving it a bigger barrel. These new pests coming through lately have been more durable than ever. I guess it’s that whole, uhh,” Dante vaguely gestures, “evolution stuff.”

Nero knows the demons appearing haven’t been an issue for Dante, but the hunter is giving an old boy of his a chance to stay in the game. It’s rather sentimental, he thinks.

“With the right modifications, that thing could blow a hole through concrete,” Nero adds.

Dante snickers. “Oh, I know. I’ve been on the receiving end of a souped-up Pedersoli before. Those can turn you into ground beef real quick.”

Nero’s eyebrows reach his hairline. “What? When?”

“Looong ago.”

“Wow.” Nero crosses his arms and faces him fully. “That must’ve been tough; fighting off crazy modified shotguns, and competing with T-rexes for your food. Hard times back then, I bet.”

“Ha-ha-ha,” Dante enunciates in a snarky manner. “It was pretty funny though! Once watched your father square up against a velociraptor.”

Nero snorts at the absurdity of it all. He’s never forgotten Dante’s wit and his ability to roll with the punches. Every conversation they have, barring anything that delves too deeply into their respective issues, is chill. It’s .. nice. He wishes Dante visited more often and didn’t seem to think Nero and his home had human cooties.

He could say that, right now. He could let Dante know he appreciates him, respects him, loves him for his one-of-a-kind personality. Instead, Nero notices how much his lovely, odd uncle has let Cavaliere go.

“What the hell, old man?” Nero taps Cavaliere’s gunked-up exhaust pipes with his boot. “Why are you letting her go like this? She looks like shit.”

Dante sharply swivels. “Hey, gimme a break, kid. I can only do so much around here.”

We have sleepovers together. They aren’t that often because he’s busy and I have a lot of stuff occupying my time but whenever our schedule is clear we have them. We have those matching plaid red pajama pants thingy, do skincare and bake. Well I bake and make him gimme harsh criticism

I’m obsessed with musicals so I introduce him to some. Now his favorite song is cell block tango from the musical Chicago Burn from Hamilton and Sexy from the mean girls musical

I make him watch horror movies with me, we both get scared and end up not being able to sleep at night

Has fallen victim to my baby brother telling people to d word. He most likely cried other than that they’re besties

Probably asked me to draw him before. I only show him the dumb ones

We watch the anime Toradora together because read the name of this ship

We send each other pictures of the moon because it is pretty
