I'm thinking about retired D.S.O. Agent and now househusband!Leon S. Kennedy, who's always keeping the house and the garden in check. You come home from work to be greeted by a fervent kiss, seeing your man wearing his signature long-sleeved button shirt with the sleeves rolled up, black pants, and an apron tied around his waist like he's the epitome of sex and god in one.
He leads you by the bathroom to where he drew you a warm bubble bath to soothe out the stress and muscle tensions away. His hands immediately peeling off your clothes, helping you get on tub as he starts shampooing your hair and scrubbing your skin gently with your favorite scented body wash while he massages you.
Leon's an excellent cook, it's a basic survival skill that he has perfected ever since he graduated from the police academy. You can see the way how he plates every dish beautifully, right amount of spice and flavor, ensuring that you're always fulfilled.
Leon wakes up early in the morning for a jog, returning home with a bag of groceries as he starts preparing breakfast. He'll always wake you up with a kiss or more, before setting up a tray to have breakfast in bed complete with a small flower vase just as you've always had it.
Leon who intentionally wears deliciously tight-fitting shirts just to entice you, catching you gawk at him shamelessly but he doesn't mind. It means that he's only your's and you're only his.
His hugs are comforting like a teddy bear keeping you snug and warm for the rest of the day. His touches are familiar, tracing every inch and line of your skin, feeling all of you. His kisses are lingering, taking it slow to ensure that he can taste you thoroughly, there's never a day without his kisses.
And of course, he never lets you leave home for work without hickeys and bites littered around your skin, your nipples swelling and puffy, and not without his hot cum plugged up inside of you, giving him the satisfaction that he successfully bred you, keeping your tummy full and whole of his seed.

Prompt: Leon got you flowers but ended up getting drenched in rain.
Content: Pure fluff!
・゜・。. .・。.・゜
Rain pattered against the window, making soft tapping noises. For the past few days it's been constantly raining hard in the city. It often made your days gloomy.
You were sitting on the couch, listening to soft jazz while reading a book. It was the perfect way to stay cozy on rainy days like this.
As you flip through another page you took a glance at the clock on the wall. '8:32' it read. The day was going to end soon and your boyfriend, Leon, hasn't returned yet. He didn't say he had overtime and it wasn't often he would stay out this late, especially because of the pouring rain.
You decided to set your book down and look out the window of your guy's shared apartment. The sky was already pitch black and you couldn't see anything other than your reflection and some lights coming from passing cars.
The door bell rang throughout the apartment, catching your attention. Without even checking who was at the door you instantly rushed to open it hoping to see Leon.
There he was right in front of you except he was soaking wet. He was holding a bouquet of flowers that were also drenched. His blonde locks stuck close to his forehead while his police uniform dripped with water.
An apologetic smile was on his face as he chuckled, "I wanted to surprise you with flowers but.. it didn't seem to go as planned."
You couldn’t help but laugh at the sight in front of you.
“How sweet of you!” You giggled. “Well, even though they’re torn, I still really appreciate it.”
You take the flowers, which seems to be lilies, into your hands. “They’re lovely,” you say as your fingers delicately touch the petals.
Leon rubbed the back of his neck, a pink tint was across his cheeks. “I was driving by a flower shop and saw those, they reminded me of you so I had to get them,” he said.
You stand on your tiptoes before leaning closer to him and giving him a quick kiss on the lips. His body was cold and shivering from the freezing temperature but instantly felt warm when your lips pressed against his. Your kisses are always something that Leon looks forward to after a long day of work.
After pulling away, the two of you share a sweet laugh together.
“Thank you for the flowers. But next time, try not to get drenched in rain, yeah?” You chuckle.
“I’ll try,” Leon responds before placing another kiss on your cheek, earning another giggle from you.

Thank you for reading my first fanfic! Since I am still new, please let me know if you have any critiques or suggestions. I will be taking requests soon once I put up my guidelines.
Thank you once again! 🤍

Leon S. Kennedy re2 would spend hours watching you playing with the rescued kids to cheer them up. How patient you were.
Helping them with the food, avoiding fights for toys, when they cried for their lost ones…
Sure you two were more than co-workers, more than close friends. You made him find love, but what brought something back to life in him was when he saw you cuddling that baby to make him eat while distracting him.
“Babababa”
Was that toothless smile that gave him the courage to sit next to you and forget all the pain he went through.
There is now Leon S. Kennedy re4 coming home for you two.
He never expected to come home and announce him the news of you being pregnant.
He spent mostly of his free days watching video or reading book about pregnancy and how to take care of a child… since he had a pretty hard childhood.
He has double monitor. One on your side on the other on his. “what is going to happen if you’re in a deep sleep and I’m too far for the one on your side..” he tried to justify himself like the fact that he has cameras connected to the baby “zone” when he’s on mission, everywhere
But there was absolutely one thing, one damn thing that made his heart melt..
The baby, a perfect mix of you two, could never do something if she/he hasn’t both of his parents close. But you got lucky because when Leon is on mission the child is cooperative.
Just imagine falling asleep on you lap as she/he holds Leon’s hands while you watch tv.
just imagine bathing you three together surrounded by toys.
Just imagine playing together on the rug in front of the tv and if you fall asleep well… you’ll wake up to someone biting you.
And only god knows how he feels when he comes back from the store or from outside in general and hears you teaching the baby how to say ‘papa’ while he’s hiding behind the wall holding his chest.
But there are times when mothers give to educate their children. Like that time when Leon bought a toy that wasn’t the baby liking so she/he smashed it to the floor screaming, here you come while Leon was clam because he knew how children can be sometimes.
“You shouldn’t throw what is gifted to you. After what happened there are kids with no papa that can’t afford a toy.” You say calmly taking the toy away to another room.
The child otherwise was pretty smart for his age to understand that you were disappointed by his behavior, but he was still a child so of course he would have ended up crying holding onto Leon pointing towards the room you walked into calling his mama.
Once Leon stepped behind, you felt two tinny hands grabbing to your neck. You take him but of course he has to hold his papa close as well making Leon chuckle for her/his cute habit.
But what was the cutest was when the little one couldn’t bare his/her nursery and so they would whine till you take him/her to the big bed surrounded by his/her mama and papa arms. <3

“Your voice will bring a smile today.”
That’s what greets you, printed in those horrible skinny red letters, paper curled in your fingers. The styrofoam boxes are dotted with grains of undercooked rice and steamed vegetables, a treat you knew you deserved after such a long day.
And this is what fate tells you. Good thing you’ve never believed in superstition. You crumple the paper and toss it onto the tray and scoff.
Like you’ll take advice from a cookie.
But as the number of people in the store starts to dwindle, and the night shift employees trudge in through the back door, you wind up with your eyes glued to the message, wondering what kind of voice it referred to.
It’s been a long time since your voice has brought anyone joy, hasn’t it? Your job mostly consists of reminding multiple colleagues of their deadlines, only to be promptly ignored. Your existence only comes back to their minds two minutes before their reports are due, when they forward a hastily written piece that you don’t bother to read.
“Ma’am, are you alright?” A hand waves dangerously close to your face, brushing your nose, and the contact is enough to startle you back, glaring up at the offender. Even with the harsh swinging lights stinging your eyes, you can see warm blue eyes and sunny hair.
It feels as if the sky has descended to meet you.
Your breath catches in your throat.
“Yeah, I’m fine,” you mutter back in response, clearing your throat, waving your tied words away. “All good here.”
He shifts away from you, maybe mistaking your inward gesture as shooing him away. You think of saying something about him, about assuring him, but you wonder why you feel that way. "Oh. I, uh, saw you seemed distracted. Just wanted to make sure you're okay."
You wince, acutely aware of your frazzled appearance after the long shift. "Thank you, but I'm fine. Just tired is all."
“That’s not good,” he notes with a small frown, leaning back to press his heels to the ground. “Did you eat well?”
“Do you fuss over all strangers?” you muse.
“Oh, well, uhm, I see you a lot here, not that I’m watching you, just that I noticed that you’re here, a lot, so I thought you must like food-”
“You talk a lot.” You raise an eyebrow, trying to cut off his flustered stammering with your motion.
“That came out a lot worse than I’d imagined in my head,” he admits with a slight dip of his shoulders. “Sorry about that, I got nervous. I don't talk to many people… or, uh, women... so I tend to be a bit of a dumbass.”
Surprisingly, as shitty as you feel, a small smile graces the corner of your mouth.
“You’re honest, aren’t you?”
“According to a lot of people… yeah.”
“I don’t think I caught your name earlier,” you say, eyes scanning his vivid outfit for a nametag. There, pinned to his apron like a defining feature of his. “Leon?”
“That’s me,” he replies proudly. “And I already know yours!”
“Sorry?”
“Your… name?” Leon puckers his bottom lip, as if scarring it with his teeth will take back the words hanging between you. “Sorry… like I said, I’ve seen you here a lot.”
And he smiles shyly.
You’re flushed the whole way home, thinking of that sweet little smile, the way his eyes crinkled, his fresh linen scent, how you forgot how to breathe.
And your carefully built world topples over.
<><><><>
You never expected to look forward to the little messages in your fortune cookies, but you blame it on the fact you know Leon’s handing them to you, standing behind the counter in that cute little outfit. Even if he has no idea what’s in them, you can gaslight yourself into thinking he deliberately picks the ones complimenting your smile, or telling you how pretty your eyes look.
Of course, he can tell you that all himself. You sit shoulder to shoulder with him on the stools that you think are meant to be mocking bar stools, but they have barely any space between them, so you’re crammed together.
You wait for him to move away, to tell you to put some distance between you two, but nothing comes. You watch his profile, that handsome face eat cheap noodles when he really deserves so much better.
The lights dim as the last employee clocks out. It’s gotten so late that the crickets demand entrance, chirping their redundant sound, silencing as you walk past the slouching grass like plant that tickles your bare ankles as you walk back to your respective cars.
“Well,” he says, twisting the fabric of his shirt between his fingers, like he hasn’t been talking to you for the last two weeks. “I’ll see you tomorrow?”
“Yeah,” you affirm, nodding. The grin that eats up his face is so infectious you can’t help but smile back.
The same smile drops from your face when you check your Uber texts, a system you’ve repeated so much over the last few months that it feels like second nature, but not very natural when you see that your driver had to back out of the deal at the last minute, suspiciously also taking your money with them, leaving you broke and without a ride.
You stare at the small blue rectangle gripped in your fingers, heat rising to your face, realizing how stupid you must seem to the guy who must be pulling away right at this moment, and will he ever want to hang out with you again-
“Something wrong?” You hear his voice before you hear the knocks on his car roof, and he’s so tall that even at this distance you have to crane your neck to glower at him, and a lopsided smile overtakes his face.
“This isn’t fair,” you insist after explaining your situation, and the only response he gives is a slight shake of his head, as if exasperated. “I already paid all the money!”
“Crap, then something’s wrong,” he mumbles. “Do you usually always use all your money on the trip here?”
You falter. “Not usually.”
He arches a golden brow, a gate to your forthcoming confession. “Then…?”
“Well, I come out here to see you,” you admit quietly. “And then I go home.”
“Exactly how far away do you live?” His voice is smooth, but his expression reminds you of those times when your mother caught you doing something you shouldn’t be, doing something that shows how much you need that validation to survive.
“Not that far,” you assure, nodding your head, but you fail to convince the both of you.
“Do you want a ride home?” he asks quietly, softly, as if the night might intrude on your conversation.
“That would be nice,” you reply in a hushed whisper, as if further backing up the idea that the moon is listening, lighting up your words, shining on his hair as you both clamber into his car.
He apologizes for the mess in his spotless car, and you assume it’s just a courtesy, but he goes on and on about how he needs to get his life together. You don’t pay attention to the words that come out of his mouth, just his mouth in general. The amount of times you’ve done this slips from your mind, just another irrelevant number in your life.
If his life is a mess, your life must be a heap of shit.
Your address tumbles past strangely parched lips, well, at least it did, a while ago. But the ride was far too short, and he pulls up in your driveway, a bewildered expression on his face, as if he can’t believe this is where you live; a humble, simple abode, just like all your neighbors.
“So, this is goodbye, then?”
“Not forever, I hope,” he whispers, voice breathy.
“Uh, okay then? But let’s meet somewhere that isn’t your place of work?”
You were joking when you said it, but it seems he doesn’t pick up on it. His eyes are dreamy and thoughtful on his drive back, and by the time he gets home, he has a plan.
He’s going to stun you.
<><><><>
“Well?”
Leon’s gone out of his way to please you. Everything you’ve said during your time together, those vague comments about your favorite type of cheese, your opinions on the amazingly random topics you’re always switching between, it’s all right there.
You hope it's a physical display of his love.
His heart is spread bare, on the checkered, classic pattern of red and white, starkly contrasting with the blades of grass that bear your combined weight, not one, but two, so closely conjoined that you feel more at ease than you have in years.
You share a smile as you indulge in the simple yet delightful cucumber sandwiches, savoring each bite as you bask in each other's company. In the far distance, birds chirp, serenading you both, as if a soundtrack to these moments that seem to tick by faster than they should.
Leon's eyes meet yours, a softness in his gaze that speaks volumes. Time slows, encapsulating you both, a delicious freedom licking up your spine.
“Didn’t know you could cook,” you remark, wiping your face with a napkin, feeling content as you lean back, lying your head on your palms.
He mirrors your action, although his head twists to meet you, eyes sparkling. “I wouldn’t be working at a restaurant if I didn’t know a few things, right?”
“Guess so.” You shrug and the afternoon wears on, the park imaginative and alive with the children that race around the playground, darting like minnows through the swings and slides.
If you had met Leon in your childhood, would things have been different? Would you still be where you are today, arms brushing, only held apart by the barrier of remains scattered between you both, a battlefield of scarred napkins and damaged plastic utensils, a war fought to keep you separate.
He is caring and decisive and rational, the most reliable person you know, and you faintly register it’s been half a year, and you haven’t progressed any further with each other. The battle has come to a standstill, and neither side dares to make a move.
You think that half the problem lies not with you, but with Leon, and what he does with all his free time. He’s not the type to laze around; you think you know him well enough to make that assumption, but you aren’t sure anymore.
Cue example one: the mysterious phone calls that have begun to grow in frequency, the ones that always sour Leon’s mood, leave him sullen and unfriendly to talk to. Eventually, you grow tired of his monosyllabic answers, and make your absence known, still wondering what goes on in his life.
With a furrowed brow, he glances at the caller ID, his expression tightening with concern. You watch as his once-relaxed posture stiffens with some unseen burden. With a sigh, he excuses himself to take the call, leaving you momentarily alone with your thoughts.
You can sense the tension tinging the area, Leon’s clenched jaw betraying the stress he tries to conceal as he stalks back to you, shoving his phone into his pocket, evidently agitated.
“You don’t need a ride home, do you?” His voice contrasts his request; he obviously isn’t in the mood to drive you home.
“I’ll get a cab.” You shake your head, not wanting to be the instrument he releases all that pent up anger on.
He casts a shadow over you, standing tall and easy, in the dying sun he looks like a dying angel, his eyes soft and sad, skin begging to be touched. And while you want nothing more than to reach out and caress his cheek, tell him it’ll be okay, kiss his troubles away, you don’t know what you are right now.
Friends? Would a friend do that? So you offer him a supportive smile, trying not to seem deliberate, and amidst the fading light of the park and the cooling breeze that accompanies you back to your divided lives, you already regret it, watching Leon speed off, just a distant thought in your memory.
You should trust your gut more often.
<><><><>
As the car glides through the shadowy city streets, you catch sight of the new monument in the distance, the one Leon must’ve told you about. Surprising yourself, you decide to take a spontaneous detour. You tap your driver on the shoulder, and she smiles encouragingly. For the most part, the drive was silent, but you don’t mind her soft voice explaining the history behind why they decided to construct it in the first place.
She pulls around the corner, approaching the area near the monument, but the statue quickly is pushed to the back of your mind. It’s the flashing police lights and a sense of urgency in the air that catches your attention. A crime scene tape cordons off the area, and officers are stopping all vehicles passing through.
A stern-faced cop approaches your cab and instructs you both to step out. The driver uneasily abandons her car where it’s parked, then weaves through the forming crowd effortlessly, as if she’s gotten used to the downtown mobs of people.
You, however, barely come to this side of the town, where the city lights are always attacking your eyes that are comfortable with the soft sunset across the farm, where the people are always knocking against each other like clumsy goats, everyone bustling with a purpose.
As you also try your best to push your way through the throng, a knot forms in your stomach at the sight that greets you in the center of the commotion. The blood reaches up to where your footsteps falter, where everyone steps back to avoid staining their footwear.
Splatters of crimson paint a macabre picture that sends a shiver down your spine. The wail of sirens pierces the night, flaring lights casting an eerie glow that dances like amethyst flames, illuminating the limp body that uniformed figures crouch near.
And one of those figures, someone you’d never expect at the grim scene of a murder, is Leon, his unfamiliar stony expression cast in a stark light against the backdrop of chaos.
You draw closer, questions threatening to unravel the fabric of your reality, steeling yourself for the confrontation, because you thought you were close to him, a person he could trust. Was that such a silly thought? To think that you might have had something?
Apparently it was.
“Leon?” you demand, pressing yourself into the caution tape, warning bells ringing in your mind at the neon yellow bending to your will against your stomach.
“What?” He glances up and around, scanning the entire world until his eyes land on yours, going wide slightly, and his position stumbles, as if his legs give way.
“Get up, rookie,” another cop barks. “Focus! And you, stop distracting him!” Someone bats at your face, but you just sidestep the blow and storm closer, in the tension of the moment.
If you had just a speck of your sense at the time, you might’ve forced yourself to step away, to take a few calming deep breaths, but seeing his face dappled in such an unnatural light, to see his warmth be taken away to something that’s real, something like a life gone.
You always saw him as your solace, away from your life, something that was unreal, just for you. You forget to see him as a being of his own, with feelings of his own. And sadly, you don’t know the difference between impulsive and intrusive.
You’re surprised when Leon rises to meet your eyes, albeit it only lasts for a moment until he’s towering over you again, and there’s a sense of authority there that wasn’t there before, eyes strict and narrowed.
“I’ll talk to you later,” he says, in such a final tone it doesn’t occur to you that you could argue back. But his voice, a splinter of your Leon, the one you know, slips through. “I promise.”
So you stand back, near the patrol cars, their wails ratting your skull, but you grit your teeth and force yourself through it, eyes directed on Leon. It’s a while before the crowd clears, presumably because the idea of a murder is enticing until they see how long it truly takes, as compared to television.
But you stand there, leaning against the side of the car that you know is Leon’s, recognizing it as the one that you’ve rode in so many times, and you wonder why he’s taken a fragment of your time here, to this place outside of your relationship.
Eventually, Leon makes frantic motions to the top of the monument, stretching to the sky before gesturing back to the body, and everyone around him offers a pensive expression and solemn nods before someone calls out something you can’t hear.
The sirens die down immediately, and everyone claps Leon on the back. He flushes and stumbles with them to the cars, and you promptly ignore everyone’s gaze on you as he approaches. But there’s someone with him.
Feline eyes meet yours, an arm draped over his shoulder, competitive expression and this mysterious woman and Leon saunter over to you. She’s dressed in a long, beige trench coat, and her black sunglasses rest low on her nose, perched just right so that she can lift her face to offer you the most cursory of glances before turning away.
And she has the audacity to peck Leon on the cheek before she gives you a smug smile with the side of her face that only you can see before waving goodbye, somehow gracefully, and stalking away to what you assume is a fancy sports car.
“Look, I know you have a lot of questions.” Leon holds up his hands in defense, before grinning, and involuntarily, you feel the corner of your mouth quirk upwards.
“Lot of is an understatement,” you grumble.
“Talk over dinner?” he offers.
“Is this you trying to impress me?”
“I mean, I don’t know,” he says with a soft chuckle. “Is it working?”
<><><><>
“Right, and you didn’t think telling me you were a fucking cop was important?” Your spring roll is devastated, its insides spilling everywhere on your plate, bits of cabbage and carrot dotting the cardboard.
“I didn’t think it would change anything between us,” he mumbles. “So what difference would it make?”
“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” You push away from the table, and his eyes follow you when you stand up, and his actions seem to come naturally, as an instinct, when he trails you across the empty store.
“You know what it means!” he protests.
“Maybe I don’t, Leon, so maybe you should explain,” you retort. “Explain why you thought it was okay to lead me on like that, all this time, when you have a girlfriend! Which one of us are you really cheating on?”
“What?” Now he looks genuinely confused, and his confusion seems to spark some doubt in your own defense, breaking down your sure walls. “Girlfriend? Cheating?”
His eyes are glazed over with tears, and if he starts crying, you’re not sure what you’ll do. You take a step closer, but now he’s the one to recoil away, shaking his head, wiping his eyes.
Leon inhales sharply. “How could you say something like that? I told you when we met, I’m not… not very good with these kinds of things.”
“But she-”
“Kissed me?” He scoffs. “Yeah, right. Like your mother’s never kissed you goodnight.”
You misread everything. That smug smile was her approval, on those curved lips, those narrowed eyes that were… well, just always narrowed. How could you get something so wrong?
"I... I'm sorry," you whisper, your voice barely above a breath. "I didn't know... I thought..." Your words falter as you struggle to find the right ones to express the whirlwind of relief, a gust of skittish butterflies pattering against the walls of your stomach, trying to find release.
"I should have been honest from the start," he murmurs, his gaze never leaving yours. "My job… it can hurt people. You saw. I want to keep you safe."
“You’re not mad?” you ask quietly.
Leon's eyes twinkle with a hint of mischief as he responds, "How could I ever be mad at this cute little face?" He playfully puffs your cheeks together, a gesture meant to be endearing.
Before you can fully process his teasing remark, Leon's demeanor shifts once again, his voice lower and more intimate as he adds, "Or... these lips." And with a sudden, decisive move, he leans in and presses a tender kiss against your lips.
And your fragile world topples over.
Again.
<><><><>
Leon never ceases to surprise you, that much you can definitely expect. You shut your computer, ready for your lunch break, when someone calls your name from the lower floor. That much you’ve come to expect, but while you’re gathering your belongings, someone else calls out something else.
“Hey, hurry up! Don’t keep your boyfriend waiting!”
To say you stumbled would be nice. You somehow manage to trip over the arm of the chair, end up with all your papers fluttering to the ground, but you ignore the mess and file it away for later, trying to tame your hair (an impossible feat in three seconds) as you storm down the stairs.
Your heels click on the tiles as you make your descent as graceful as can be, minus that one part where you trip and lurch forward before gripping the hand railing for safety. You see him standing at the entrance, talking to the receptionist guy, a box nestled between his arms.
“Doughnuts?” you ask, staring at the box enticingly, recognizing the bright pink and rainbow sprinkles from your childhood.
“Got some free time,” he says, pressing a quick kiss to your nose before opening the box. It seems that you really have everyone’s attention now. “And coupons!”
You toss him a shit eating grin to show your returned affection before immediately curling your fingers around a glazed doughnut. And eventually, once the first person timidly approaches, quietly asking if they could maybe have one, Leon beams.
“I brought enough for everyone!” he proclaims, and he steps to the side to reveal three similar boxes, all presumably stocked with the same doughnuts.
“Looks like you’re an office favorite now, huh?” you tease, nudging him with your elbow. He shifts from your impact and returns the gesture, in the process of doing so smears chocolate frosting on the underside of his nose.
“I’ll always be your favorite officer though, right?” he jokes in response.
You don’t respond, you’re too busy staring at that one smear of cocoa against his skin, and suddenly you’re itching for a napkin, so you twist over your shoulder to grab one.
“Righ-” His echo is muffled by the napkin stuffed into his mouth as you gently dab at the area, squinting your eyes.
“Yeah, of course, totally,” you mumble absentmindedly, satisfied with your efforts. You take the excuse a little further just to stare at his amused expression, the quirk of his brow, the tilt of his eyes softening.
Your colleagues will never let you hear the end of this.
Either way, since he’s on break and he’s on the manager’s good side, bribing her with a few Boston Cream doughnuts, she allows him to hop upstairs with you.
“So, if you’re a cop,” you ask while rubbing hand sanitizer into your palms. “Why’re you working at Panda Express?”
“They lowered the income rate for the citizens of Raccoon City, including the police force,” he grumbles, swinging his legs from where he’s perched on the side of your desk. “Which I think is totally stupid!”
“So you think you shouldn’t have applied at all?” you query further.
“Well, honestly? I’m glad I applied,” he admits, and at your questioning expression, continues, “I wouldn’t have met you.”
“Hooray, taxes,” you say numbly, flipping through the giant stack of papers left on your desk, all jumbled up from your earlier mishap.
“Hooray, taxes, indeed,” he agrees.
“I was being sarcastic.” Leon scoffs, twisting over his shoulder to lean down and meet your lips. When he pulls away, there’s an endearing yet mocking look in his eyes.
“I’m not that stupid.”
<><><><>
Nothing happens that day, you don’t see a black cat anywhere, you don’t walk under any ladders, and if you do walk on cracks, well, you do that every day, so your luck must always be this horrible, right?
You’ve somehow scored this moonlit masterpiece strolling beside you, a being born from the clouds, so maybe you’re not all that unlucky.
Usually, you get a warning when bad things happen. But all you can feel is the jittery, warm feeling that you get when you’re brushing hands with Leon, trying to bring him closer to you. You think he notices, and doesn’t say anything.
You invite yourself into his car, but the first of many problems to come arrives in the form of water that splashes on Leon’s face, just above his eyebrow, and he quickly slides into his seat.
You absently brush the area, admiring his hair, his boyish qualities, and suddenly wonder if he’s always looked this young. Far too innocent for the world.
“It’s nice in here,” you offer.
He sinks back into the seat with a gentle, relaxed smile. "Well, either way, get comfortable. Looks like we’re expecting rain.”
You nod, legs unsteady, and find yourself nestled in leather beside his cologne-scented form. The engine hums to life, and he shifts gears, pulling onto the road as traffic flees.
He glances over, moonlight caressing sculpted cheeks. "What’s wrong?"
“Do you have any water?” He gestures to the water bottle in the cupholder on his left side, on the driver’s door. Your knees knock against each other as you reach over to grasp it, ducking under his outstretched arms, averting your eyes to your right rather than the other direction.
“Can I…?” You gesture to the bottle. “Or should I just like, you know, waterfall, or whatever-”
“We’ve literally exchanged saliva,” he states bluntly. “I don’t think I have a problem with you drinking from my water bottle.”
“Ugh, you weirdo.” But you’re the one drinking like a starved woman, which you suppose that you are, but that of which you’re really dragging your gaze over isn’t the water.
And you suppose, logically, Leon’s 70% water.
Water that evaporates under the heat of your eyes, drifting up to the previously cloudless sky, forming puffs of sorrow that cry back down to you, tears slamming against the windshield. You ponder how he can even see the road through the downpour.
Eventually, after grumbling under his breath, Leon pulls over, gazing into your upturned face with a question in his eyes, older than his years.
“Would you, uhm, mind if we just went to my place? It’s closer anyways, and I don’t want to risk driving any further than I have to in these conditions…”
You smile, and he can see your answer woven in your eyes.
<><><><>
Leon forgot to mention his (adoptive) parents live right next door. So of course, when they’re just out and about casually watching him through the door camera, they might just happen to say a dashing young lady walk out of his car.
And said young lady is unfamiliar to these judging, supreme figures that must decide Leon’s fate for him, because he’s just a boy. Their precious little baby.
So that’s what you assumed happened when Leon’s parents clambered out of their door, calling for you to wait, his mother pulling her cardigan around herself tighter against the chill.
And now here you are, facing two people that, no offense, look nothing like the man seated next to you, fingers entwined, foot tapping out a nervous beat on the wooden floor.
“So, darling, how’s work going?” Another placeholder question for what she really wants to know: how much do you make in a year? Do you have a degree? Did you even finish high school?
You respond with everything they must want to hear, like those questions on the backs of those 2000’s magazines with the answer that’s always right, the one that has the perfect amount of sense in it, the Goldilocks rule.
Goldilocks must have been gobbled up by the bears this night, because every answer seems to deepen the furrow forming between their brows, as if they’re in sync, and you wonder how you can manage to screw up something that should be simple.
Meeting the parents, check. What’s next, falling into the cake at the wedding? You must be planning too far ahead judging by their unimpressed looks.
“Mom,” Leon groans. “Cut it out!”
“I’m just getting to know her, sweetie,” she replies sweetly, voice dripping like molasses, and you can tell there’s a lot more she’s keeping behind her tongue. "Well, dear, do you have any hobbies or interests you're passionate about?"
"Oh, I just love cooking!" you exclaim, a spark of enthusiasm lighting up your face. Maybe you’ve finally found something to impress them with.
Leon's father leans in, his interest piqued. "What kind of dishes do you enjoy cooking?" he asks, a hint of genuine curiosity in his voice.
"I love trying out new recipes from different cuisines," you reply, your excitement palpable. "Right now I’m learning how to cook Thai cuisine!"
Leon's mother nods, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Cooking is such a beautiful art form," she muses, her face softening. "It's wonderful to see someone so passionate about creating delicious meals. Someone who can share that love with our son."
You wonder if any other girl had waltzed along, marveled at cooking with them, would they have dropped their judging character immediately, just as they had with you?
You suppose it’s a mystery you don’t need to solve.
Besides, you don’t have to worry about facades with Leon.
Of course not.
But you do wonder why he hasn’t touched any of the food.
<><><><>
You sit back, sly fingers curved around the tender flesh of his waist, pressing your head further into the crook of his arm. You watch his chest rise and fall like the arrival and departure of the sun, bringing you warmth under the blanket that restricts your movements, tucked in around you like a burrito.
He must be hot, you realize, he’s sweltering under the blanket, but when you offer to turn on the overhead fan, he shivers like he’s cold at the same time and shakes his head.
In moments of silence, you catch glimpses of a far off-look in his eyes, a horror movie long forgotten, as if his thoughts have wandered to a place you can’t reach. There’s shadows of things he doesn’t say, things you know he wants to say.
“Hey, are you good?” You shift your weight to look up at him, where you might’ve found yourself admiring the curve of his chin, or his dappled skin, but now you only feel concern.
“Yeah,” he mumbles, mouth stretching in a yawn. “My new case is taking a bit longer than I’d hoped.”
“Mhm?” you press gently, wanting to get more clarity on the situation without seeming nosy. His response is delayed, a different, pitiful expression grappling to take hold.
“Oh… the, uhm, pharmaceutical company? Something that has to do with… was it rain?” Leon shakes his head, clicking his tongue in the back of his throat. “You know what? Forget it. Tonight’s our night.”
He says ‘our’, but he pays you little to no attention for the next three hours.
Your first thought is that you're boring him. Have you already become so insufferable that he doesn’t want to hang out with you anymore? You had expected it, of course, you’re not a very animated person, but he loved you, didn't he?
Leon’s gone quiet, silent, like he’s back in that box in his mind you can never seem to pierce. The light that used to dance in his eyes now flickers dimly, like a fading ember struggling to hold onto its warmth.
He carries himself with the same grace and poise, like a practiced act to a play you weren’t a part of, and you can’t push it away anymore. But of course, as all things in your life seem to follow, when you finally find yourself gaining the courage to confront him, he's gone.
<><><><>
Missing. And no one knows where he is. And some part of you blames yourself, you obviously must've scared him away.
“You know what’s wrong!” You bite your tongue to keep you from raising your volume, not so much fearing the fish beneath you but the woman leaning against the shipping containers, scrutinizing slender nails with feigned boredom.
If Leon trusts her, she should hear your first plea. She knows him better than you do, much to your dismay, but it could work out in your favor currently.
Her expression remains stony.
"Please," you beg, and a sliver of emotion slips through that mask- confusion? "Help me save Leon. I know you care for him, even if you can't show it."
Her crimson lips quirk. "I have… undisclosed reasons for ensuring his well-being. But my work takes precedence, and I can’t disclose anything to you."
You glare through lingering tears. "No deals, no games. You tell me where he's investigating right now."
A long pause, then she sighs. "Very well. It seems you really won't leave me alone, hm?" She grins coldly. "Shall we play the heroes, just this once?"
Playing the heroes is harder than it turns out to be, it seems.
"Evening, boys. My associate and I have a… delivery." The guards blink, stupefied, then waves you through with dopey grins, mostly directed at her. Ada smirks. "Pathetic."
A floorplan materializes in her hand, every room and hallway illuminated with ghastly blue precision. "Samples are held in labs B5 through 7. Avoid guards, cameras. And try not to set anything off - we're on a tight schedule."
You dart through shadows, cautiously approaching the correct hall. Surprisingly, nothing contradicts your journey, as if the whole building’s been abandoned. Guess it’s your lucky day.
You're wondering just how lucky you really are when you turn to usher Ada ahead, only to freeze as you turn the corner, and there, just a few feet away, he sits.
So calmly, so pristine, as if life was just as simple as sitting on the floor, in the middle of a hallway, in a building where you don't belong, after ghosting everyone who knows you for two days.
And yet there's something different. Haggard eyes stare from a chalk-white face, lips twisted in a feral snarl. That face, once so stunning you had to think about his existence, now only conveys hatred.
"L-Leon?" you breathe. But those eyes betray no recognition, only hunger. As your stare, transfixed by fright and grief, a click sounds behind you.
"Well, well. Fancy meeting you here." Ada glares down the barrel she points to Leon's head, somehow still perfectly composed. You want to rip off her head. "Now, are we all going to play nice?"
For a heartbeat, no one moves. Then Leon's eyes flicker, awareness filtering into his eyes by slow degrees, and he stands up at half that speed, as if time is against him.
But then he jolts back, as if something's clicked, and suddenly he's back with you, standing in front of you, gasping for breath and clutching you tightly.
You wait for a moment, not quite sure if you're imagining things or not, before a dry, unamused chuckle rips from your throat and slowly morphs into the laugh you're used to sharing with him.
Leon leans closer to you, resting your forehead against his, cupping your face as he stares down at you, recognition so evident in those open eyes. “How'd you find me?”
“Well, it's not like the department was going to notice,” you mumble, rolling your eyes. Ada scoffs in reply, but her head tilts to the side.
“And your endearing girlfriend here wouldn't let me get away that easily.”
You suppose her tone is light enough that you can let it pass as a joke, and at the moment you're so overwhelmed with relief that you aren't too worried about her idea of you either way.
“Seeing you… gosh,” he groans, pressing a palm to his temple, hissing. “I can barely think straight!”
“I know, baby, I know,” you coo comfortingly, keeping your voice soft so as to not alert any guards that might've pulled up around the area.
“No, I can't…” His eyes go fazed again, blank, emotionless, and once again he's slipped through your grasp like grains of sand on a beach, only there is nothing tranquil about this situation.
“Leon, listen to me. You’re going to be just fine,” you affirm, nodding your head, hoping he'll copy your motion.
He doesn't. "I...I can feel it," he gasps. Beads of sweat run tracks through the grim on his face. "It's… stronger than me..."
You grip his hand tight, ignoring the growing feverheat. "No, Leon, you can beat this. You always do." But even you can hear the desperation in your voice.
And you wait for Ada to chime in with some classic, yet somehow sassy third-wheel dialogue, but it never comes. In fact, she's vanished into the shadows, presumably already so far away you can't hear the click of her heels on the sterile floors.
Leon groans, and your attention snaps back to him, face contorting. "Go," he grits out. "Drive… and don't look back."
“I’m not leaving you here!” you proclaim, and his eyes soften in confusion as you sling his arms around your shoulder.
You're sure half the population must've heard your racket at this point, but it seems something else has gotten the security's attention.
As long as it's not you, you don't mind. Leon’s lower lip wavers, unshed tears sparkling in his eyes, and you want to peck everything that hurts until he's okay. But you can't be sure of anything until you're both safe.
The first responders always seem to pick up the prank calls from the teenagers that don't need their help, but it seems like hours go by the more Leon's blood coats your fingers, and inevitably, your phone screen.
He's stopped responding to your questions, and you fight to keep just a fragment of his conscience there with you, but his eyes, the vivid blue gone dull, meet yours and offer no further response.
When the ambulance finally arrives, they leave you outside the gates, denying you entry, with those ruby dusted hands and diamond streaked face.
You suppose you've always wanted to be the jewel in the night that races to the hospital to see their lover. And now that just seems silly.
<><><><>
Three weeks.
That's all the time he'll have with you. And even then, he's not truly there. He struggles to formulate his own thoughts, and now, whenever you see him, all you can think of is who he used to be.
As for Ada, you haven't seen her since. She hasn't snitched on you, so you suppose that it wouldn't hurt anyone to keep the events of that day between the three of you.
Two of you, now.
He isn't a person anymore. He isn't your Leon. But that's hard to remember when you've never been good at seeing what's beneath the surface, the dense, complex layers that create a person.
You see his soft, peaceful face that is like second nature to you, and you wonder if he'll respond to you today, even after hours of repeating the same truth that you know somewhere, deep down, you’ll never believe. The doctor's left the room already, decreeing two hours of treatment should do something for him, save him, much like removing a tumor.
“I went to our place, picked up some lunch for us,” you murmur, knowing he can't hear you. “You weren’t standing at the counter like always, and I almost lost it. Again.”
You can imagine him, if he was really here, chuckling, shaking his head at your questionable behavior. Not just a shell, a half of a person, but a whole that somehow also completed you.
See, this is why you failed math. Are you half a person without him, or whole?
“I got us a fortune cookie!” you say, trying to keep your voice upbeat, as if your positive energy could transfer to him, in a magical, mystical manner, and he'd come back to you.
“Let's read it, yeah?” No point in waiting for a response when you know it'll never come.
Thin, pale letters. How odd, they resemble Leon's strangely flushed face.
“Today, your voice will bring a smile.” You suppress one of those and instead roll your eyes. “Your friends can’t think of new content, can they?”
You stuff the paper into your handbag, slung over the plastic chair near his bed. You've blocked out the rest of the world, now is time for just you two, however far away he may seem. Which is why you scowl up at the doctor, slightly confused at her sympathetic look, and then your ears ring and you shift back to reality. The reality of the situation.
The reality of the flatline.
The reality that, no matter how much you thrash in the security guard's arms, Leon's not coming back. He’s gone.
In a way, he's been gone for longer than you've chosen to accept. Maybe it would've been easier to let him go sooner. You're marched straight out of the hospital, a beeline for the exit, and you have little time to shout your goodbyes.
But you've grown used to taking advice from cookies. After all, they've gotten you to this point. The sarcasm you had so long ago seems silly to you, now, the fact that a biscuit could decide your fate.
To Leon?
Your voice keeps him smiling all the way up to the clouds.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Leon Kennedy x gn!Reader
Summary: The village square was overrun and you & your mission partner Leon fought hard to survive. Yet, the villagers left under the command of the church bell, all dazed, without an explanation—leaving you both with relief and a joke that will change things between the two of you. [Inspired by: “You’re laughing. I told you a joke and you’re laughing. I love you.”]
Content: canon-typical violence, near-death experience, mutual pining ish, fluff
Word Count: 1.6k | Read on AO3
A/N: This can be read as a prequel to Extra and it’s part of a collection of works set during the events of RE4 with agent!Reader. I decided to write this because I thought the text post was very Leon and because you all seemed to enjoy Extra a lot :) way back when.
Tumblr media
You almost thought you were hallucinating. Between your ragged panting, trying to regain your breath after fighting off hordes of infected villagers, and the sound of your heart pounding against your chest and your blood pumping, the sound of the church bell ringing and chiming was clear to hear throughout the village. One old villager, who just a few seconds ago was about to snap your head right off your neck, turned around and ignored you with glazed eyes—muttering something in Spanish that you couldn’t quite hear as he walked away slowly in a daze.
Just a few seconds ago, you had that villager’s hands wrapped around your neck as you desperately swiped your knife back and forth at his torso, hopelessly hoping to get some sort of damage in. And just a few minutes before that, your shrill cry to your mission partner could be heard.
“Leon! I can’t hold them off for much longer!” you called out as your voice broke from panic, something you would never do under normal circumstances. You felt some sort of instinctual need to prove yourself to him, your dashing mission partner that you swore would have a much better career as a model with his looks. Why was he wasting his time trying to save not only the President’s daughter but also you when things got really bad, even if you stubbornly never asked for it?
“Huh?” The sound of your partner’s voice shook you out of your confusion and memory, making you turn to him—opposite the pyre in the middle of the square that was still burning. You thought back to his shrill voice calling out to you too. “Hang on! I’ll be right there!” you heard him shout and multiple gunshots subsequently after, you could only assume he was trying his best to get to you as soon as possible. And seeing his position now, closer compared to before, you couldn’t help but sigh in relief.
Leon looked over at you, his heart still pounding with the thought that he would see the life drain from your eyes and your head ripped off your body because he wasn’t quick enough to get to you in time. The walking villagers with their mutterings in a daze put him in a daze as well, all he could do was look and turn around in bewilderment at the scene unfolding in front of him. The sound of an axe falling into a muddy puddle from a villager’s hand made you both whip your heads around with wide eyes, still on edge and bodies fighting for survival in fight or flight. You raised an eyebrow at him, a silent question that he could answer with nothing but a shrug.
He shrugged in his brown leather jacket and could feel his hands shaking, one of them still gripping his gun until his knuckles turned white. The door to the town hall slams shut and your eyes darted around to see the entire village empty.
Leon’s eyebrows furrowed with confusion as it settled in, now that he finally wasn’t fighting for his life. His head turned around and he couldn’t help but take a few steps to see further. Empty. All gone. As if nothing ever happened. As if the sounds of your desperate shouts and panicked gasps didn’t fill his ears and travel straight to his heart, making it pound fast—searching for you—just a few minutes ago. Surreal. Absurd. Ironic.
He scoffed at the barren and empty village surrounding the two of you and shrugged. “Where’s everyone going, bingo?” He asked with a now laidback tone since you both were safe—for now. His tone made your eyes slowly trail in his direction, processing with your eyebrows raised.
“…bingo?” You spluttered out, dumbfounded at his joke, and suddenly it occurred to him that not everybody appreciated his… strange sense of humour, so his eyes darted the other way. You, on the other hand, felt the ends of your lips being brought up without you even having to think.
Your amusement at his joke and the relief it—and the realization that you two were alone for now—brought, started off as a slight chuckle under your breath before your eyes trailed towards his direction. You found his eyes darting from looking at you and at the ground. His blond hair, as he cast his gaze downward in what seemed like a bit of embarrassment, couldn’t hide the slight smile, awkward as ever.
So, your amusement turned into not a slight chuckle but a bright laugh, a giggle at the sight of him and the thought that only Leon would be able to make you this… relieved, amused, and grateful… all at the same time. A weight seemingly lifted off your chest and the thought of the villager just now that had his hands wrapped around your neck just made you laugh even harder. Bingo. You nearly died and yet here you were, cheeks warm and chest light with relief, gratitude, amusement, and some kind of fondness.
Leon’s eyes darted back to you when he realized you were not only chuckling but laughing at his joke, your cheeks scrunched up from your wide smile. With every crease he found from your amusement, the more he couldn’t look away. Your laughter was unrestrained and sure, you might’ve just been a bit delirious from nearly dying but it didn’t matter; he made you laugh and feel comfortable enough to laugh after something like that. Leon felt warmth rise up his neck to his cheeks, making him brush the hair out of his face in reflex.
He’d love to know what was so fascinating about your laugh that made him unable to think clearly, to breathe properly. It was nice to make someone laugh, of course. But the sight of your smile and the sound of your relieved laughter felt like a light was shining brightly at him, interrogating him for his true thoughts. True fondness.
You both had only just arrived in this village and yet there was now an undeniable sense of gratitude that you were the one here with him, that you got paired with him even if it led you into danger like this. At least he was with you. To keep you safe. To keep you from harm so he could continue to see you laugh. The feeling of the bright interrogating light of your smile turned into feeling like there was a cartoon light ball above his head in realization, heart pounding so fast he almost swore it was slower when fighting for his life moments before.
You sigh deeply after chuckling with a slightly giddy grin, falling back to lean against one of the walls of the village's houses, your eyes trailing towards Leon. Your eye contact was what broke him out of the trance that made him stare at you and every crease in your face from your smile. He gulped nervously as his legs moved on their own towards you, thumbing the hem of his leather jacket at the uncertainty his realization brought.
I love you. Those three words so foreign to him never made more sense. Every memory Leon had with you changed, even though they were just late nights scanning over paperwork at the office or you desperately trying to land a kick at him during training. Every memory he had of seeing love everywhere when he couldn’t fully understand it changed too. Leon repeated those over and over again in his thoughts. I love you. Now he knew how it felt to have the words creep up from his heart to his tongue, lips parting with nothing but a ragged sigh escaping and spilling out of him instead of those three words he knew would change things too much for the both of you.
You cocked your head to the side with an amused smile and your eyes narrowed in question—this wasn’t the somewhat calm reaction you expected from him making you laugh deliriously. Leon reached out a shaky hand that went unnoticed by you and placed it on your shoulder. His eyes trailed from his hand placement to your neck, handprints had begun to show now from earlier.
One minute or second more and you’d be taken from him. He wouldn’t be joking then. And you wouldn’t be laughing either. He wouldn’t get to hear the sweet cadence of it or see the creases in your face as you smiled—the features that interrogated him and illuminated a deeper feeling he held than just fondness.
“You… okay?” You asked with a raised eyebrow. You knew he was trying his best to calm your nerves and comfort you after what nearly happened but you figured your reaction to his joke would’ve told him you were okay, more than.
“We should probably… get moving,” he replied, the breathiness in his voice that wasn’t there normally caught your attention and it dawned on you that maybe it wasn’t you that needed calming but him. Leon’s hand fell from your shoulder and his lip curled upwards, making you rethink. “Before more of them come,” he added with a tired but relieved sigh, looking back at you with what you could only describe as gratefulness. You smile back, a fond and thankful smile this time instead of an amused one.
Those weren’t the words Leon wanted to say to you, those three words that he repeated over and over again in his mind. But they made their home there until he could think of nothing else but you when the thought of the word love crossed through his mind.

𝘤𝘳𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘭 - leon kennedy!
note: While you're walking down the aisle, You see Leon crying, falling back into love with you all over again.
( Re2R Leon btw, this is such a cheesy story 😭)
As you walked down the steps, your white dress following behind you, your veil covering your eyes as you walked with the beautiful white bouquet in your hands, looking up from the floor, your lover and soon to be husband Leon, crying to the sight of your beauty, this was the day he has been waiting for, the day he's been waiting and wanting to experience with you, and you only.
What started as "puppy love" turned into real love, you were his one and only, his reason he woke up every morning, the reason he worked so hard, all for you.
As you walked up, now standing across from your lover as you guys smiled at each other, Leon wiping his tears away.
"Why are you crying?" You asked, blinking away tears yourself.
"You just look so beautiful, so much more beautiful as I imagined, like a princess." He said, wiping more tears away as the priest started to talk.
As you two said your vows, and said your do's, Leon grabbed you as close as he could, kissing you as if there was no tomorrow.
God, you couldn't imagine anybody else but him.
guys forgive me this story is so cheesy but one of my best that blew up on ao3 !

[Biceps] Leon S. Kennedy
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warnings: Suggestive talk, slight swearing, reader has a choking kink (asphyxiation)
" ....Excuse me?"
"I know you heard what I said. Don't pretend you didn't."
You really had no shame at all, asking your boyfriend the most ridiculous thing he's ever heard.
"You want me to... choke you with my biceps? Seriously?"
"Oh come on! You can't blame me for asking that, you know..! Just—Just look at them!" You exclaimed, as you gestured towards Leon's massive biceps. Leon deadpanned at you, and you rolled your eyes.
"Ok, give me one reason why you can't choke me out then." You asked, as you crossed your arms and faced Leon.
"You can't be fucking serious, love—"
"Oh but I am!" You protested, with a smug look on your face. You almost looked proud to say that. You watched as Leon sighed, exasperated, pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Well, first of all, I might actually kill you if I choke you out—"
"That's kind of hot not gonna lie."
Leon was now glaring at you, and you just laughed it off. "I'm just kidding. Well, kind of. But I guess you have a point."
"Exactly." Leon heaved out, slightly relieved that this conversation was over. Or so he thought.
" .... but are you sure you can't... I don't know... choke me out a tad bit..?"
"Love." Leon retorts, a little too sternly, and you put your hands up in defeat.
"Alright, alright! I'll stop. I just wanted to know how it'd feel. That's all." You murmured, as you started poking Leon's biceps with a pout on your face. When he wasn't tensing his muscles, his arms felt so squishy and soft.
Seeing you pout pulled Leon's heart strings, which made him pull you closer to him, and hug you from behind. He pressed a kiss along the crook of your neck, before whispering in your ear, "I'll... think about it. I just don't want to hurt you, love."
Your eyes lit up with excitement after hearing his words, and you turned to face Leon, pecking a kiss on his lips, elated.
"I knew you'd give in to me." You say gleefully, a grin tugging at your lips, and Leon chuckled, amused.
"You know I can never resist you."
.
.
.
"So... can we try it out now?"
".... No."

I also have a small request if possible. I'm thinking of something with old Leon x single mother reader. Leon is moving to a new neighborhood for a while and his neighbor is reader. I was thinking that the reader's daughter (possibly 2-3 years old) would see him once and be crazy about him, screaming all day that she wants to touch his hair 🤭🤭. And Leon being... well, Leon doesn't know how to react, but he starts to like the little one and little by little falls in love with the reader. I was thinking damnation Leon (he deserves so much love ugh😔🤭). Further, I'll leave it up to you to develop the story as you want. Kissss 😘😘😘😘
P.S. I love your stories❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

this is written with Vendetta, Damnation, and ID! leon in mind. i recently hung out with my little niece, who is named mei, so i just decided to name the little one mei as well! hope you enjoy, anon ^w^
Tumblr media
"Momma, momma!" you hear your little one yelp from the front yard. You look up from your dishes, confused and fearful that your precious daughter had injured herself. Peeping out the window right above your sink, you immediately spot your tiny child pointing to her right with a sparkling eyes, her chubby little fingers extending as far as they could. You cock your head questioningly as you walk towards the wide-open front door to check what she was trying to show you, your hands patting against the fabric of your dress as you stepped out onto your wrap-around porch.
Hiding behind the vines of your overhead plants, you squint between the leaves to try and get a look of what your daughter, Mei, was trying to show you. Slowly, you make out what seems to be a man fumbling with his keys. His cocoa coloured hair swayed as his clumsily handled his keys in front of his door, his jaw tightening as he grew increasingly frustrated with himself. You watch him curiously, unknowing of your little one stumbling across the yard and onto the porch the stranger stood at.
"W-what the-" you hear the man stutter, dropping his keys as he frantically looks down at his feet. You can feel the corners of your eyes crinkle as you try to get a better look from the vines of your precious plants, and you realize that Mei had found herself tugging at the man's pants. You gasp and trip your way over to the front of his house, shoeless with your apron practically falling off.
"Mei-Mei, you can't just run after strangers!" You grow embarrassed the closer you get to them. You stood just in front of the porch when you finally get a good look of the man.
Your cherub of a daughter is basically climbing the poor man at this point, jumping up and down at his feet as she bumbles out her baby-gibberish—things like "Hair! Hair!" and "Do you like pie? Hey, mister! Pie?" coming out in one long string of rambling. Quickly, you go up the small set of steps and pick up Mei by the waist, tucking her into yourself as you sheepishly apologize to the stranger.
"I-I am so so so so sorry, sir, I didn't realize she was so excited to see you," you stammer out, trying to contain the little babe that was trying to climb out of your arms.
The man in front of you is gorgeous, standing at six-feet-two with those heavy boots of his. His dark brown hair framed his face to accentuate the sharp lines of his jaw and cheekbones, the deep blue of eyes piercing through your body as if you were simply a window. He stood tall and stiff, chest slightly puffed out in his black leather jacket and white t-shirt combo. The denim jeans he wore did nothing to hide his legs, the bulge of his thighs almost giving you whiplash. His eyes lock onto yours, his plump lips slightly parted.
“It’s alright,” he grunts. “She’s just a kid,” the man nods at the cooing cherub in your arms, who was craning her body backwards with her arms stretched out in attempt to touch his hair.
“S-still, I should have been watching her. Sh-she isn’t normally so… uh…”
“Excited? It’s alright, ma’am,” he lets out a soft chuckle, his head shaking side-to-side. You feel a blush begin to dust over your cheeks, and begin to to step backward.
“Y-yeah, excited. Anyways,” you clear your throat. “I’m still sorry. I-if you need anything, I’m right next door!” You bow slightly before booking it back to your home, bare feet treading against the lawn connecting the houses together. You feel a bit guilty for not introducing yourself to him, but you were so embarrassed by Mei, you couldn’t help but run away.
“Momma, go back! Back!” Mei began to cry, her lip quivering as she looked over your shoulder. Her little arms reached for the stranger, who was watching from his porch.
The door shut behind you, and your daughter let the tears flow. Distraught, you set your little one down on the couch just a few steps away from the door and dragged your thumbs across the apples of her cheeks, asking her softly about what was wrong. Mei hiccuped and sniffled, snot smearing across her tiny lips as she cried.
“What’s wrong, Mei-Mei?” You frown, bringing your apron up to her flat little nose to wipe away the boogers. She trembles as you comfort her.
“I-I wanna touch his hair,” she sniffles, her tiny palms rubbing against her cheeks to wipe the tears. “Can we p-please see him again, Momma,” Mei’s frown deepens, and you feel your heart break at the sight.
“Mei-Mei, he’s a stranger. We can’t talk to strangers—especially not ones who don’t seem to want to talk to us,” you explain to the child. Tears continue to fall.
“B-but, Momma-“
“Mei-Mei,” you sigh tiredly, unable to resist your sweet daughter. “How about this—if you help me make it, we can bake a pie for the mister tomorrow and maybe we can see him again, okay?” Your daughter visibly perks up at this, the waterworks ceasing as she looks up at you with her sparkling eyes.
“Really!? Do you promise, Momma!?” She gasps, her chubby hands squeezing her cheeks with excitement. You nod at her with a gentle smile, and she jumps out of her spot on the couch, flailing around the living room like a wound-up puppy.
Mei wouldn’t stop talking about the man for the rest of the night.
Tumblr media
"This one! Oh, oh, no, I meant... this one!"
"Sweetheart, these are too red. We need green ones."
"But... these are green, Momma?"
"Oh dear..." you sigh heavily, taking the Fuji apple out of Mei's hands and setting it in your cart. "Stay close to me okay, Mei-Mei?" You tug at the little cowlick on top of her head softly, making sure she understood to not run off. She let's out a little noise of understanding and keeps a tight fist on the end of your dress, trailing behind you as you searched for the greenest apples you could find.
The drive home from the grocery store was filled with questions you didn't know how to answer. Things like...
"Do you think the mister likes My Little Pony?"
"I wonder if mister has any pets. He looks like he has a chihuahua!"
"If mister had a cutie mark, what do you think it'd be, Momma?"
And other weird things a child would ask. You tried your best to answer each question, but everything just leaded to another awfully confusing query. As you pulled the car into the driveway, you notice the sexy motorbike in the new neighbour's own, the black finish shining beneath the morning sun. You get out of the car, helping Mei right after before grabbing the groceries from the trunk of your two-thousand-five Honda Accord.
You unlock the door of your sweet little home, pushing it wide open with a bump of your hip. Mei skips inside, a small toy of Fluttershy in her hand and a plastic bag containing her "element of harmony" (a single red delicious apple, which is apparently the "honesty" element, or something along that line) in the other. The door clicks shut behind you two, and you trip into the kitchen after you kick off your shoes. Setting the bags down on the counter, you sort out the groceries before calling for your little one.
"Mei-Mei! It's time to start baking, sweetie," you hear her clumsy feet tip-tap against the hardwood and smile brightly when her head peeps into the kitchen. Her honesty apple was clutched tight in her hands as she walked up to you giddily, excited to get to work. You pick her up and set her on top of the clear section of the counter.
You trust Mei with measuring the dry ingredients, with some supervision of course. Together, you make the pie crust and allow it to chill in the fridge as you make the filling. Mei is in the living room at this point, eyes glued to the television as she embarks on a friendship adventure with her pony friends.
Silently humming a nameless tune to yourself, you peel and core the small Granny Smith apples, dicing them into little cubes before setting them in a brown-sugar mixture. By noon, you had shaped the pies into the shape everyone knows them to be—apple shaped apple pies!
The delicate little balls were placed on the baking tray carefully, not wanting to ruin the perfect shape. You brushed the tops with an egg-yolk-and-water mixture before putting the cute pies into the oven, setting a timer for 15 minutes. Proud of yourself for cleaning up the generous mess in your beloved kitchen, you open up the window above the sink to let the air in.
While you lounged on the couch with your beloved little dumpling, you're unknowing to the man next door, tinkering away beneath his ebony Dodge Coronet 440. The scent of the sweet apple pie wafted to his nose, making him stop his repairs on his old model. Shaking his head, he tries to ignore the temptation to knock on his pretty neighbour's front door and ask for a slice.
Tumblr media
The heat from the oven tickled your face as you carefully pulled the baking sheet out of the contraption, setting it down on the kitchen counter that was covered with a washcloth to avoid damaging the countertop. Mei watched you with a square-shaped tupperware in her chubby hands, eager to get the pie to the stranger next door.
You slide the oven-mittens off your hands and proudly look at your apple-apple-pies. Turning your attention to Mei, you pick her up so she can look too.
"Aren't they pretty, puddin'?" You coo. "You made these!" Mei claps her hands together happily, tupperware long forgotten with stars in her eyes as she beams at the sight of the apple-apple-pies.
"Can we take it to mister now?" the babe pratically vibrates in your grip with excitement. You nod at her and set her down on the floor, deciding to fish out a new tupperware box from one of your cabinets. When you find one of the proper size, you pack up one of the pies before you usher Mei out of the door after putting on your shoes, handing the container to her to carry.
Walking across the lawn, Mei immediately notices the open garage and makes a beeline towards the mass of legs beneath a black vintage car.
"Mister!! Mister!!!!" she practically yells, stomping over to the man beneath the car.
You can't help but admire the sight of the stranger. His thighs were practically ripping the denim of his jeans how tight they were on him, his white tank-top creeping up his stomach to reveal a small patch of hair just below his belly-button. With a grunt, he slides out from beneath the Dodge model, grease staining his entire upper body.
"Hey...?" He looks up at his from his spot on the ground, rubbing the stubble on his chin confused as he sits straight on the concrete.
"H-hi," you wave awkwardly, standing a safe distance away from him with Mei. You crouch down to your daughters level. "My daughter helped me make a pie for you as a little welcome gift. Go on, sweetheart," you pat her back softly, urging her to walk up to the newcomer. Like an excited puppy, Mei marches over to the handsome man, presenting the tupperware to him like a trophy.
"My momma put lotsa love into this, so you better like it, mister!" she demands, and the man chuckles softly at the order.
"I definitely will, kiddo. Apple pie's my favourite," he smiles gently before setting his sights on you. His blue eyes were illuminated perfectly by the sun as he looked over to you. "Thank you. My name's Leon, by the way. Uh, Leon Kennedy," he nods over at you as he takes the container from Mei's hands.
"O-oh, right! We didn't really introduce ourselves yesterday," you blush, fiddling with the hem of your blouse. You quickly introduce yourself and your daughter, stuttering all the while. It had been quite a long time since you had spoken to a man.
"Nice to meet you," Leon lets out a low laugh as he looks down at the pie. His eyes widen when he realizes it's shaped like an actual apple, but he makes no move to say anything as a twinge of pink crawls up his neck. "This looks... delicious," he drools, and you thank him for the compliment.
"Best eat it now! It's tastes the best when it's fresh," you smile, and he hums in response.
"U-uh, I think I'll eat it now, actually. Needed to take a break anywa-ngh—!" Mei slams her pudgy palm on top of Leon's mop of brown hair, causing the poor man to grunt. It didn't hurt, but it clearly caught him by surprise. You panic just like the day before and attempt to pull your cherub away from your neighbour, embarrassment filling your body.
"Mei-Mei! I told you that you can't just touch people like that!" You scold her lightly.
"Agh, don't yell at her—It's alright," the brunette assures you, standing up. His boots click against the concrete as he stands close.
"Please, excuse her, she's just very excited to have a new friend."
"Hey, hey—it's fine. Here," Leon ducks his head down enough for Mei to reach out. She turns her body in your arms, hands outstretching to thread into the man's hair. Unconsciously, you move closer to Leon as your daughter plays with his hair. The sight made your heart melt.
When Mei has her fill, Leon stands straight and gives you a warm smile. He has a look in his eyes you couldn't quite place, but you choose not to think about it.
"I, uhm..." you think of what to say, your eyes darting from each feature on his stubbly face. "We won't bother you now. I-if you need, something, we'll be a knock away!" you nervously ramble, slowly backing away from the gentleman.
"Yeah, I'll keep that in mind," he coughs out, a dust of pink brushing the tip of nose. Leon watches as you turn your back to him, wiggling his fingers at the little one that waved at him from your shoulders. He walks over to the tupperware sitting on the floor of his garage after you walk into your house, entering his own with the pie in his hands.
You don't know about how the tupperware was licked clean, not even a crumb of the crust to be seen as the container is left on Leon's dining table. The next day, a knock on your door distracts you from your dishwashing.
He wasn't lying about apple pie being his favourite.

What if ... Leon was dating a tarot reader? And he always makes jokes like "if she reads this on the cards I'm screwed" And he pretends he doesn't care (but he's actually scared to death when the reader reads the cards to him)
Hi anon! I hope you enjoy!! 💕
The past, the present and the future
Leon Kennedy X Reader Word count:787
Tumblr media
You rolled your eyes, shuffling the deck in your hand as you listened to Leon make yet another quip “Should I be worried? Don’t use them to check up on me” His brows were raised but the grin on his face was enough to let you know he was only messing. But the shake of his leg told another story, his knee bouncing up and down as he cracked another joke, this one about the devil card. You only shook your head.
After finishing the deck shuffle, you placed the cards down on the table. In a three-card spread, Leon had finally agreed to have you give him a reading. Something simple he said, no weird questions or anything like that. So, he decided to go with what he knows best. Bioterrorism.
“You ready, honey?” You didn’t want to push him into something he didn’t want to do but it could be a fun little moment, and it’s not like he had to listen to them. It’s not like he really believed what the cards said, and this was perfect practice for you anyway. You were sick of asking yourself questions, it was nice to do a reading for someone else. Leon nodded, you could have sworn you heard the man gulp and watched as his tongue darted out to wet his lips.
As you turned the first card over, the past, you watched Leons brow furrow as he looked at the card. His voice tilted with confusion “A building?” His head leant to the side as he moved his attention back to your face.
“The tower. Upright like this means disaster, broken pride” Leon nodded slowly, he felt his mouth go dry and his mind wondered back to that dark night so many years ago. He could almost feel the rain soaking through his uniform, the bandages sticking to the blood on his skin…the stench of rotting bodies all over again. Your soft voice pulls him out of those thoughts “Hey, its okay, we can stop” your hand is gentle on his as you lean across the table. His moves to cover yours before he presses a kiss to your fingers.
“No no, I’m kind of excited…Wanna see what my future holds according the spooky forces beyond” you can tell the way his voice has lowered and the non-existent spark that’s been wiped from his eyes that he’s a little worried. He wasn’t expecting it to be so accurate. Definitely wasn’t expecting a Raccoon City Incident cameo from the cards.
But with his go ahead you moved on to the ‘present’ card, flipping it over to show the word reversed” This time you tilted your own head, this made sense. Even know after so many years, and with Leon having moved on to start a relationship with you, there was still part of him that felt like some things weren’t resolved. “World reversed, incompletion and no closure”.
Leon felt his body tense, the cards were getting too close for comfort for his liking. He didn’t understand how they could be so accurate. The jokes and quips dying on his tongue as his mind raced. “Well, if this is how its going, I think I’ve got a bleak future” the joke was weak and you could tell he was starting to panic. He shifted in his seat, hands wiping the sweat onto his jeans as he watched you flip the last card over.
“Oh my god, am I gonna die?” You couldn’t help yourself, a short laugh left your mouth and Leon looked at you with wide eyes, his mouth gaping open. You shook your head trying to collect your composure as Leon stared at you in shock.
When you finally stopped laughing and could get more than a few words out you explained to him “No, the card of death doesn’t mean that you’re gonna die. It’s good actually, in the upright position it stands for new beginnings and changes” Your hand squeezed his own, and you leant forward to press a kiss to his cheek.
Leon let a breath of relief, his forehead falling onto your shoulder. His arms moved around your waist, and he hoisted you over the table and settled you into his lap. His face still buried into your neck as he pressed a few kisses to the pulse point there. “I like that one…a new beginning with my sweet tarot partner” You could feel the heat of his breath against your skin “But never do a reading for me again”.
Another laugh left you, your hands running through his hair “Okay, my love, no more readings for the big strong government agent” This time it was your turn to tease him.

Leon Kennedy x Fem!Reader
Tumblr media
“You-YOU WHAT?!" Rebecca yelled, making Leon flinch.  “Yeah, I'm officially quitting this shitty job! And I can finally have a vacation,” he sighed happily. He couldn't help but imagine the both of you having a vacation. Oh, how he wants to bring you to the beach! He doesn't want to see you in a bikini suit at all. I'm sure of it. “Leon…” "Let him, Rebecca... He has done so much for us, and he deserves a break too. Plus, it would be nice to spend some quality time together with his partner." Chris looked at him with a smile, and Leon smiled back. He can't wait to announce this to you.
“Oh, Leon… You didn't have to..." You said this while your hands were wrapped around his neck. “I need to… I wanted it. We didn't spend time together that much, and I'm fed up with killing zombies and creatures.” he snuggled his face on the side of your face, you can't help but smile… He deserves a break. "I think we should go on a beach? We can relax, spend quality time and make new memories." he said as he pulles you on his chest, you giggled “And can see me in a bikini suit huh?” he then chuckled pulling away from your neck and looking at you. “Maybe” you both laughed.

Request?
I need Leon starting to date a girl with curly hair and he LOVES her curls and tries to learn how to style them
i'm not sure how you want me to format this im sorry so i'll just write like a list of hcs GRRRRRRR but i love the curly hair stuff HEHHEEHHE
content: fluffy leon kennedy with fem curly-haired! reader
synopsis (?) : leon kennedy has a curly-haired girlfriend :3
-leon's hair has ALWAYS been straight ash so when he saw you and the way you took care of your curl he was like woah :0
-it's like a level of enlightenment to him lol (jk)
-this man will always look at you while he has the chance so you can expect him to pick up on your routines. sometimes he'll be present in the bathroom while you're doing your little hair pampering routine and he's like 'so what's that?' and points at a bottle and u have to explain it to him LMAO
-no matter what the length (hell you could be bald) leon loves your head because 1. it holds your pretty lil face 2. your HAIR
-and idk i just have a general hunch that this man just loves carding his fingers through your hair or your head a lot (as you can notice from my first works lol)
-and leon is MESMERIZED by your curls everytime. whenever leon is standing behind you at a queue or waiting for you to finish doing something, like say putting your makeup on, his hands will absentmindedly bounce on the ends of your curls and just watch them go boioioiioioing
-there was a time when you were at a night bar with leon and some other friends. you guys were sat on stools and your back was turned to him while you were conversing with your friend, and leon just kept bouncing the ends of your curly locks because it's like a satisfying fidget to him.
-he loves the shape, the texture, the way it feels in his fingers (especially when he pulls on it in bed oops im sorry hehe)
-and tbh what can i say? leon likes taking care of you and that can apply to different parts of your everyday life; before you go to sleep he reminds you to take your vitamins, and whenever you come home and he's there he will undo your shoelaces :3. but he will NEVER forget to brush your hair (especially if it's long as hell, he knows ur arms probably get tired brushing through it and applying product through it)
-if you were bashful at first and said it was okay, he insisted with a lighthearted and joking tone. he's like 'i got the strength for this c'mon gimme that brush NEOWWW'
-HE WILL PRINCESS YOU LIKE THIS SASSY PRINCESS OF A MAN WILL PRINCESS U
leon loves to approach his pretty girl while she's perched in front of the mirror. he sees you brushing your wet curly locks and, silently, walks up to you from behind. he's a rather silent man right now while he takes your hairbrush from your hands, your arm slowly stopping its brushing motions as you looked up at his reflection; him being behind you while his eyes are downcast to your locks. "and where's my love going?" he asks with a mild tease. he knows you're going out somewhere because you seem to smile a little more when you're anticipating some plans. you giggled while feeling leon gently brush your hair with tenderness. maybe by narration it sounds obscure, but he adores the back of your hair while you're rambling about your day so far and where you're heading off to next. "so she's a busy girl. hm?" leon grins slightly, eyes locked onto your soft hair while he helps in spreading moisturizing product (rather expensive product that leon willingly paid for u bc, well, he loves you like that) on your hair in moderate amounts, being careful not to accidentally pull your head back or something lol. his fingers tread and work caringly— and he even scratches his fingertips on your scalp lightly and briefly to top it off ♡ he continues the rest of the brief conversation with his thumb gently stroking your wispy baby hairs, and you're just so cute to him he just wants to eat u tbh
-and whether you want him to put some lil bows, ribbons, clips or extensions in it is up to you. you probably have an array of hair accessories and leon memorizes all of them. he knows when one is new and which ones are the ones you've always had in your dresser/vanity.
-speaking of, leon LOVES seeing you accessorize your hair. beads, hairclips, anything that furtherly charms your pretty hair literally makes him melt you have this man in an entirely different state of matter atp he just loves you sm argghh. one time you let him put some little butterfly clips in your hair after teaching him how they're clipped on and you had leon WHIPPED the entire time in front of that vanity ♡
-omfg and leon does this thing where whenever he's hugging or cuddling you from behind, he nuzzles his face in the back of your head and start inhaling your hair like you're some sort of freshly-washed pillow. it tickles a little for you and he can feel your frame repulsing or squirming in his arms but leon doesnt rlly care lol (he's kinda sorry)
-i feel like leon has more of a tendency to ruffle your curly hair if it's short, maybe like above shoulder length or something.

Right after your most recent breakup, you finally notice the guy that you know better than you know yourself.
a/n: for the anon who requested this one <333 hope u like my lovely!! the description doesn't do it justice but i hope i went along the same idea you were thinking <3 spellchecking and grammar died :))
tw: just fluff and best friend leon
wc: 2k
The sun warms your faces as you wander down the grassy path, a woven blanket and wicker basket in hand. Both of your timed footsteps are light, minds drifting on the breeze that carries faint haunts of fresh blooms through the air.
"The water looks beautiful," you say with a gesture toward the distant lake, its surface shimmering under the clear blue sky.
"It calls to the soul, this place." Leon replies, stopping to take in the quiet beauty surrounding you.
"It’s peaceful," you offer with a soft smile.
"Come on." He meets your eyes with a sly grin. "The perfect spot awaits."
You stroll a little further before coming to a strip of shore beneath an old willow's swaying branches. Laying out your blanket upon the grass, Leon begins unpacking your meal as you stretch out and relax, admiring the tranquility of the area.
“Much better than the neighborhood,” you comment, drawing a genuine laugh from him.
“That’s for sure. Aren’t you glad you came?” His voice, his question is uncharacteristically nervous, causing you to draw your wandering thoughts back in one place and look up at him.
“Of course I am. Why wouldn’t I be?”
“It’s just…” Leon sighs, dropping his hands into his lap, fidgeting with them. “Last time I asked, you said no.”
“And I told you I was out with my boyfriend,” you say gently. He doesn’t move. His fingers still and he slowly drags his gaze across your body, meeting your eyes as if for the first time. They look almost golden, slanted in the dying rays of the sun.
“How are you both, by the way?” he mumbles, not really sounding like he cares.
“We broke up a week ago.”
Even though you shouldn’t, you remember when your first boyfriend broke up with you in middle school, and Leon was there, rubbing your back in soothing circles and whispering consolations in your ear.
You suppose you’ve known him almost as long as you’ve known yourself. Finding yourself was something you couldn’t have done if it weren’t for his influence, pushing you away from what would’ve corrupted you and towards the angelic halo he wanted sitting on your head.
He protects you, and you protect him. That’s one part of your relationship.
"I always thought he cared for me, you know?" you say with a sigh. "I guess some things are just too good to be true."
Leon turns to face you, his dark eyes catching the fiery hues of the setting sun. "Don't say that. Any guy would be lucky to have your heart."
"Easy for you to say, Mr. Perfect," you tease, nudging his ankle with your bare toes.
"I'm far from perfect," he says softly. A soft breeze ruffles his wavy locks, and for a moment you’re captured by the play of sunlight through his hair. How had you never noticed how beautiful he looked as the sunset lit up his features?
Shaking loose from your thoughts, you quip, "Could've fooled me. While I'm wallowing in self pity you sit there as calm as ever. Isn’t that stupid?" You nudge him again, hoping to evoke a smile - but his expression remains tender.
Leon tilts his head curiously. “No. Why would you say that?”
“I guess some part of me knew that if I didn’t have him, no one else would ever love me.”
Leon picks at the blanket, coaxing strands to peel away from the tightly woven fabric. “That part’s stupid. You’ll find the one.”
“Don’t get philosophical on me,” you tease. “I need someone to jar back to reality.”
“I’m not!” He protests, flushing. He turns back to the lake, to the ripples steadily running towards us. “He didn’t… like… after prom?”
“Leon!” You nudge him with your foot, exasperated. “He’s not that bad.”
“I know,” he replies, but he doesn’t sound like he’s convinced. “Watch the food for me?”
“Why?” The corner of your lip twitches. “Are you swimming?”
“Maybe.” Leon leans back on his palms, as if only considering this idea now, even when you know he only came here with the idea of a quick dip.
Nothing got him relaxed like floating, weightless, drifting along in dense water, consuming his thoughts as if absorbing his troubled mind, disappearing into the abyss below. You knew that from the absurd amount of times you’d seen him at the pool.
“I know you want to.”
His neck turns a light shade of pink. “That obvious?”
You nudge him forward. “Just go already. It’s already getting dark.”
Leon glances toward the setting sun, gauging how much time remains in the long summer dusk. Then, with a playful grin, he rises and pulls his t-shirt over his head in one smooth motion.
You watch, fascinated, as lithe muscles shift beneath golden skin. His shirt lands in a warm heap next to you as he stretches his arms upward, arching his back like a cat awakening. Shadows accentuate his slender form while soft rays limn each contour, making poetry of lean lines that tell of wiry strength.
Gazing out over the waiting water, Leon takes a deep breath of anticipation. You see the subtle relaxation steal through taut limbs and tense shoulders. Then he turns, catching you looking, and laughter glints in rapt eyes before he shifts his stance back to the lake.
You settle back on your palms to watch Leon glide into the waiting water. His form cuts smoothly through the glassy surface, barely a disturbance in his wake.
Under the fading rose glow of sunset, Leon's pale skin takes on a luminous sheen you never quite noticed before. Ripples kiss the shore as he submerges fully, rolling beneath the water, only to emerge seconds later, shaking droplets from his disheveled hair.
You trace each bead's downward path, longing to feel their chill evaporate under searing fingers. But you stay put, watching from afar as Leon floats languidly, gazing up at the colors fading fast across the sky.
A sigh escapes you, matching the gentle swaying of reeds along the bank. You envy the placid waters bearing him, lapping coolness across his skin and easing all tensions. To have someone sink into such a soothing embrace - but your place is here, drinking in the poetry of his fluid motions beneath the dying glow of dusk.
<><><><>
“You’re not getting in my car dripping like that,” you deadpan. Leon kicks the gravel of the parking lot, outlined by the fierce sun, looking just like a guilty little boy.
“I didn’t bring a towel,” he mumbles. “Just this once?”
“I just- no!”
“Then how do I get home?” he asks softly.
You watch his eyes, blinking down at you, guilt steadily spreading across your expression as you switch your gaze between the boy standing in front of you and your car.
Equally steady is the childlike grin that Leon sports while he soaks  the poor, newly refurbished passenger seat. You manage to at least throw down your picnic blanket before he sits back down, eyes narrowed at you.
“Either this or I stuff you in my trunk,” you reply smugly.
“No, no, it’s not that…” he says, trailing off. He shakes his head and twists to look out the window, holding his face in the middle of his palm. His shoulders are drawn back, as if protecting something.
After a few minutes of silence, you ask, “What’s wrong?”
“Nothin’.”
“That won’t work on me.”
A quiet huff. “It’s nothing.”
You pull up in your driveway but you don’t move to unlock the car. Leon's fingers freeze on the handle, terror flashing across his face. In an instant, you see all the emotions he'd kept bottled inside leak out like spilled ink.
Your questioning gaze pins him as surely as if you'd seen through flesh to the secrets of his heart beneath. For a long moment, the only sounds are crickets replacing daylight's song outside.
Then Leon snatches his hand back as if burned, stammering, "S-sorry, I didn't mean to–the door got stuck, that's all."
“That might be because I locked it.” You smile and cross your arms, waiting.
After several long moments, his shoulders slump in defeat. You look at Leon steadily, at his hands still resting on the locked door. His panicked gaze darts everywhere but at you.
"Leon," you say softly. "Talk to me. Why did you grab the handle like that?"
He swallowed hard, fingers twisting together in his lap. When he speaks, his voice is barely a murmur, like a preschooler admitting something wrong he did. "I just… wanted to get out, I guess."
You tilt your head, waiting for more. But you don’t expect a tear to slip from his eyes as he takes a wavering breath.
"Please don't make me say it," he whispers. More confused than intrigued, you rest a hand on his trembling arm, trying to ease his discomfort. When he flinches, you recoil, tilting your head as a sign for him to continue.
If it were anyone else, they would’ve missed the growing expectation spread plainly on your face. And it’s for that reason that Leon doesn’t persist. He knows there’s no use. He had to get to this point at some point.
He collapses against the seat, face crumpling. "I'm sorry, I-I have feelings for you, okay? I've tried so hard not to but I can't help it. And now you'll hate me and I've ruined everything-"
Gently, you lay a hand on his knee. "Leon. Look at me."
Reluctantly he meets your gaze, eyes brimming with unshed tears. You give him a reassuring smile. "You don’t have to be nervous with me. You needed that, didn’t you?"
Leon shakes his head vigorously, tears escaping down his cheeks. "No, y-you don't understand. You were with him, you...you loved him."
His voice breaks on the last word. You take his face gently between your hands, gazing intently into his watery eyes.
"Leon, listen to me. We weren’t real. Nothing between us was real, hm?” He tries to look away but you hold him fast. "Why do you think we broke up, huh?” Your voice sounds dry with amusement but you can’t seem to make it sound any other way right now. “Because every time I was with him, all I could think about was you. Your smile, your laugh, how you make me feel."
Leon lets out a soft sob, pressing his eyes closed, spindly, dew-dropped eyelashes brushing against his raised cheekbones. You press your forehead to his, wiping away a falling tear with your thumb, feeling like you’ll never need anything else. Just him.
"It's always been you, dumbass. I'm in love with you."
Before he can protest further, you kiss him intensely, and under your lips, you feel him melt, molding into your hands. Gently, you caress his cheek again, your thumb gliding soft as a veil of rain across his trembling lips.
His eyes flicker shut at the ghost of your fingertips on his skin. Beneath your hands' worshipful mapping, Leon's trembling fades, body loosening like the reeds sinking into the peace of the lake.
His lips, yet tingling from your kiss's imprint, curl softly at their edges - the whisper of a private smile meant for you alone. He pulls away from you, sniffling, running a hand under his nose, chuckling softly.
“So…” Leon’s fingers lace with yours, breathing life back into the twilight air. “Guess we’re finally figuring things out, huh?”
“Took us long enough.” You brush your hair back behind your ear, eyes glinting mischievously up at him. “Who would’ve thought all it’d take was trapping you in a car?”
Leon groans and buries his flushed face in your shoulder. “Please don’t remind me. I still look insane, don’t I?”
You tap his chin until his shy eyes meet your gaze. “You could never look anything but beautiful to me.”
“Such a charmer. No wonder I never stood a chance.” Leon’s blush deepens, crimson against the pale hues of his skin, teeth clicking together softly. He’s shivering, you realize.
“I think you’re the only one who ever stands a chance, love.” You drum his nose before grinning. “You’re cold. Come inside, I’ll get a bath started.”
And on the way inside, fingers intertwined with his, you make a promise to yourself.
Never let him go.

Holding Hands With Leon
Leon crouched in front of the crumbling wall. He could see something happening in the distance but needed a closer look. Then, he remembered he had given his binoculars to (Y/n). She wanted to look at a bird or something so he let her hold onto it. Clearly, he needed it back so, without looking at her, he held his hand out; expecting her to know what he wanted. (Y/n) had lowered herself next to him when she noticed his stance and then saw how his hand was extended toward her. Part of her brain knew he wanted the binoculars, but the other part wanted an excuse to hold his hand. They were so big and strong how could she resist? She placed her hand in his and at first, he didn't notice until he realized her hand was lingering in his palm. He looked over and saw how she hadn't placed the binoculars, but rather her own hand. He noted how soft and delicate her touch was, but he couldn't focus on that right now. "No, (Y/n), I need the binoculars," Leon clarified. He expected her to get flustered from her mistake, but she simply held the binoculars to him with her other hand. An amused chuckle escaped his lips as he realized she wasn't letting go of him. He took the binoculars and used them to enhance his vision, all the while he squeezed her hand.

[Black Coffee] Leon Kennedy
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
warning: quite a long fic, not proofread 0_0, Leon being an absolute lovestruck idiot
Leon doesn't know what he's doing.
He's sitting at the far corner of the small, comfy cafe he's at, drinking black coffee while sneaking glances towards the barista at the counter.
He doesn't even like coffee. Well, he thought he didn't. But he always liked the black coffee you made.
For the past few weeks, he made sure that coming to this very cafe became apart of his daily routine. He tries to do so everyday when he's not on a mission.
But why does he make the effort to do so?
He doesn't even know himself. All he knew was that he wanted to see you. Even if it's from a distance. Even if it meant sneaking shy glances at you, who's taking the patrons orders, and making their drinks.
Seeing your pleasant smile always brightened his day, even if the smile wasn't meant for him. Your smile and friendly aura are what attracted him to you in the first place. Yet, he couldn't find it in him to go up to you and strike a conversation. The only words he had ever uttered to you were, "One black coffee, please". On some occasions, he would order a sandwich as well, if he was hungry. After getting his order, he would find a seat in a corner that was away from the other patrons, but was still in bird's eye view to see you working behind the counter.
Right now, you were busy behind the counter, whipping up a customer's order swiftly. Leon could tell you were exhausted, and rightfully so. Because that day, it seemed that the cafe was more busier than usual. Even though the cafe was packed with more customers than usual, Leon noticed how you still kept a smile on your face as you served each and every customer with the help of your co-workers.
Leon wonders how you do it. How were you able to keep a smile on your face despite being clearly exhausted? He could barely smile after filling up a couple of tedious government reports. He wanted to ask you, but was it stepping out of line?
He was just a random customer at your cafe. so wouldn't it be weird if he were to suddenly come up to you and ask, "Hey, how do you always keep a smile on your face like that?"
You would definitely be confused, and would think that he had a few screws loose Leon didn't want you to think that way of him. Not when he barely had the chance to get to know you yet.
How long has he been sitting at the cafe anyways?
He looked down at his half empty cup of coffee, and picked it up to finish drinking it.
Ah..
It's cold.
Must've been here for quite some time now.
Just as Leon was about to stand up and return the cup back to the counter where you were standing at, he watched one of your coworkers walk up to you, saying something that didn't quite reach his ears. You smiled at your coworker, and left your station at the counter to go to the back, while the coworker took over the job of taking the customers orders.
Your shift must have ended, Leon thought, as he quietly sulked at missing his opportunity to talk to you again.
Looks like hell have to try again another time.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
No matter how hard Leon tries, it seemed as if every opportunity he got to go and talk to you is short-lived. He was either interrupted by impatient customers waiting in line behind him or by your coworkers who needed help with something. Despite this, he couldn't entirely blame the circumstances for not being able to talk to you. If he hadn't hesitated to go and talk to you, he wouldn't be in this troubled predicament.
Why was he hesitating?
You were just an ordinary person, going about with your life like anyone would. He shouldn't feel nervous to go and strike a conversation with you.
Yet here he was, getting butterflies in his stomach whenever the thought of talking to you pops up in his mind. The way he's behaving right now reminds him of his 21 year old self, the rookie cop he once was. But he's no longer 21, he's 27. 6 years have passed since that unfortunate incident in Raccoon City. He was now a fully fledged government agent, having faced various bio weapons among the missions he's been assigned. Talking to you should be no big deal, right?
The moment Leon stepped into the cafe, he could spot a (very) noticeable difference in the atmosphere right then compared to the previous times he's been to the cafe. It was quite empty, only having about a few customers lounging there.
That could be because it wasn't the peak hour yet for the cafe. After all, it was only 10 am. Usually, Leon would show up at the cafe at around 1 pm, the time which more people would show up to the cafe. Would it be weird for him to show up earlier than he usually did?
No. It shouldn't be.
He was a customer after all, he's allowed to go and get coffee whenever he wants.
No big deal.
So why was he so pressed about it? Why did he care about little things like that? Leon didn't have the answers to those questions, and just shook those thoughts out of his head, before making his way to the counter, where you were.
He swears he saw your eyes light up when he locked eyes with you. But then again, it could've just been a figment of his imagination,
"Oh! Hello sir! You're here earlier today!" Your voice rang out, as you smiled at the blond man who was walking towards the counter.
You noticed?
Leon, slightly taken aback by your jovial greeting, could only just nod his head. He didn't think you'd actually acknowledge that he was there at the cafe earlier than he usually would be.
"Ah.... yeah I suppose I came here earlier than usual," he replied quite drily. Not the tone he wanted to his words to come off as.
Despite his blatant dryness, the smile on your face unwavering.
"So, I'm guessing you want your usual?"
Usual?
"By usual, do you mean a black coffee?"
"Yeah, I mean, isn't that what you always order from here? Sometimes, you order a sandwich too, right?"
Leon's mouth was slightly agape, not knowing what to say, Did he really come to this cafe so many times that you'd know his order by heart? Leon wanted to feel flattered, but at the same time, this was to be expected if he kept on ordering the same thing over and over.
"Yeah, guess you got me all figured out. Kinda boring, isn't it?" Leon said, in a self-deprecating tone.
"If I'm being honest, yeah, it is kind of boring to order the same thing all the time. But people like eating or drinking something they re familiar with, so does it really matter if their order is boring if that's what they want?"
Your very blunt answer was not what Leon was expecting. But it was refreshing nonetheless.
"You do have a point. Familiarity is something everyone unconsciously seeks for, even in the littlest of things."
"True, familiarity in the littlest things are what allows us to build connections and find common ground after all." You continued, as you smiled warmly at Leon, which only caused him to break eye contact with you. Wow, he didn't expect to be having a full on conversation with you, today of all days.
"Glad to hear we're on the same page on these things, Mister....?" Your words trailed off, as you attempted to get the blond man's name.
Leon blinked in realisation that you were asking for him name, and almost choked on air, clearing his throat to regain his composure.
"Leon. Just call me Leon, No need for formalities, haha."
Your smile only grew brighter at his words, a chuckle leaving your mouth as well.
"I see, it's nice to finally get your name, Leon I'm _____. I should go and make your coffee now, don't wanna keep you waiting." You said, as you quickly went to prepare the black coffee you always made for him.
Leon was in a daze, satisfaction washing all over his face. He finally was able to get your name. But there was a thought lingering at the back of his mind.
With the way you phrased your words, were you also waiting for the chance to learn his name?
No, he shouldn't really jump to conclusions like that. Maybe you simply just wanted to know his name, nothing more than that.
He was soon interrupted from his thoughts from you coming back up to the counter with his coffee in your hand, and something else too.
Cookies..?
"Here you go! That'll be $2.50. Also, thought it would be nice to have cookies to eat as well. To satisfy your sweet tooth."
"You're giving someone who orders black coffee almost everyday from your cafe, cookies, to satisfy their sweet tooth?" Leon repeated your words, sarcasm slipping out of his tongue.
He was taken aback, amused even.
He expected you to take back your words, but instead, you just doubled down.
"Yeah, why not? I have a hunch you'll like them. Always trust the barista, Leon." You said sending a wink his way.
"And don't worry about paying for it, it's on me. A little thank you for being a loyal customer." You handed Leon the bag of cookies and his usual coffee, before waving him goodbye.
"Bye Leon! Hope to see you again soon!"
Leon just nodded in return, beckoning goodbye before heading out of the cafe to head over to his next destination. Once he was sure he was fully out of your sight, he almost collapsed out of pure bliss and joy.
He couldn't believe that just this one interaction with you was able to make him feel this way. Making him feel like a high school kid all over again. Making his heart beat so rapidly.
He concluded that he had a crush on you. There was no doubt about that, with how he was feeling.
But he knew that he would have to do more in order to catch your attention. After all, to you, he was just another regular customer of the cafe you worked at.
He wanted to get to know you more. He had to talk to you more.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Too bad things didn't exactly go the way Leon wanted it to. How was he supposed to know that his schedule would've become so packed for the next few days that he didn't even have time to go to the cafe?
Leon could only internally curse at himself and his management for suddenly assigning him all these tasks and reports. They weren't difficult, but it was time-consuming, and that was what Leon hated about them the most.
It had been a week since he last went to buy coffee from the cafe you worked at. A week since he last saw you.
He wonders how you've been faring for these last couple of days. He hopes you've been doing okay, like you always have. Was it weird for him to want to see you?
Maybe.
After all, the two of you were barely even acquaintances.
Still, he wanted to go to the cafe and see you.
But he couldn't do that just yet. Not until he's completed all the tasks and reports assigned to him.
Leon knew he was definitely lacking sleep. He could use one of the coffees you'd make for him. It would definitely energise me, he thought.
It was as if the gods heard his prayers, as Hunnigan popped up from behind him, as she set down a cup of coffee. He recognised the logo on the paper cup. It was from the cafe you worked at.
"Here, thought you could use some coffee. You look as if you're going to die any moment now." Hunnigan says, as she looked him up and down.
"Wow, thanks a lot. Appreciate ya'. Remind me to take you out to drink next time, 'kay?"
"No thanks."
Leon just chuckled as he watched the unamused Hunnigan return back to her own desk, before setting his eyes on the coffee she gave him.
He thinks to himself, "Did you make this?"
You probably did. After all, you were one of the main baristas at the cafe.
He gingerly picks up the cup, blowing softly onto the surface of the cup, before taking a sip of the coffee.
....
It was bitter.
Bitter?
Why was it bitter?
Usually, the coffees you'd make were sweeter than this.
"Hey, Hunnigan. You sure this is black coffee?" Leon calls out to Hunnigan. Hunnigan looks up from her screen, confusion spread across her face.
"Yeah. It's definitely black coffee."
"Why is it so bitter than?"
Leon watched as Hunnigan furrows her eyebrows, her expression becoming one of unamusement.
"Black coffee is supposed to be bitter, Leon."
What?
Leon didn't know what to think. All this time, the coffees you made for him were sweeter than what he just drank. At that moment, he recalled the last time he'd talk to you.
"Also, thought it would be nice to have cookies to eat as well. To satisfy your sweet tooth."
"You're giving someone who orders black coffee almost everyday from your cafe, cookies, to satisfy their sweet tooth?"
"Yeah, why not? I have a hunch you'll like them. Always trust the barista, Leon."
Leon immediately rises from his seat, feeling his face flush in embarrassment. You somehow knew Leon wouldn't like black coffee. And all this while, you were playing with him, making him think he was drinking black coffee when in actuality, he was not.
He had to talk to you.
He wanted to know how you'd know that he apparently wouldn't like black coffee. Not even he himself realised that.
He immediately heads to the exit, wanting to confront you about it. The cafe was 20 mins away, he could go there and quickly come back. That is, after he gets his answers.
"Hey Leon! Where are you going?!? You still have stuff to-"
"I'll be back, Hunnigan."
.
.
.
Within 20 minutes, Leon finds himself at the cafe you worked at. It was almost 12 pm, so customers were going to pile up soon.
Leon sees you at the counter, and walks up to you.
You immediately noticed him, and your eyes once again, lit up at the sight of the blond man.
"Oh hey! Leon! It's been a while. How've you been?"
"How'd you know from the get go I wouldn't like actual black coffee?"
Your eyes widened in surprise, before you suddenly burst out laughing. Leon just looked at you, confused.
"Oh my god, you finally realised, huh? After one month. I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't be laughing, but it really is amusing."
"What's so amusing about this? You tricking me into thinking you're giving me black coffee all this time?" Leon mumbles, avoiding your eyes as he clearly was embarrassed about the situation.
Maybe confronting you head on like this wasn't the best idea....
"I sincerely apologise. But can I ask you this one thing?"
"Uh.... okay?"
"When you first started coming to this cafe one month ago, was my coffee the first ever coffee you've actually tried?"
Oh.
It was.
But Leon was already too embarrassed to admit that.
Seeing his reaction, you just chuckled even more.
"Based on your reaction, I can tell it was. That explains why you didn't seem to notice that I got the orders mixed up that day. I accidentally gave you a latte instead of black coffee, but before I could warn you, you already took a sip, and didn't say anything about it."
"Oh."
"Oh in deed. I didn't know how to burst your bubble, you clearly enjoyed the latte and I didn't want to ruin your mood that day. So I just continued to make you lattes instead of actual black coffees from then on. I guess I just wanted to see how long it would take for you to figure that out, haha!"
Leon wishes he could just disappear at that moment. How embarrassing. He was just being fooled all this while unknowingly.
At least it gave you a good laugh, that's what Leon thought.
But could he recover from this moment?
Hopefully.
Your laughter died down after a while, and that's when you started feeling a little guilty for tricking Leon. His embarrased side was really adorable though. You didn't think that this stoic man who always came to the cafe was able to make this expression. It was kinda cute.
"I'm sorry once again for fooling you all this while. Is there anything I can do for you to forgive me? So that I won't lose a very loyal customer?" You asked with pleading eyes, batting your eyelashses at the blond man.
"Hmm.... how about you give me your number for starters?"
You were taken aback by his request, a blush creeping up your face as you quickly realised he wasn't joking, flashing you a boyish grin.
"Sure! Why not. I guess we'll be talking a lot more huh, Leon."
