There’s also several points in Season One of MH where Jay points out either before or after a video with no audio that it’s possible that rather than being corrupted, Alex took the audio out himself.

Which is an interesting thought paired with the fact that Alex was going to burn the tapes and never actually planned on giving them to anyone until Jay asked. Did he do that for his own benefit for whenever he rewatched the tapes? Was there something he really didn’t like in the audio? Did Alex ever think about giving someone the tapes to prove he was haunted and wasn’t just having stress hallucinations, and Jay’s request just happened to make him finally give in?

he isn’t a huge fan of sports himself, but he’ll try his best to support you!! He’ll turn up to every game he can, make sure to sit or stand in the front row, and cheer so loud everyone looks at him and he’ll sit back down in embarrassment.

Tim is a physical touch fiend, considering he didn’t get it a lot as a child, so he loves hugs, and will probably be touching you somehow often.

Brian leaned back in the booth, arms crossed behind his head as he eyed the shorter man sliding into the seat across from him. His stare didn’t go unnoticed and the corners of his mouth twitched upward as Tim caught his gaze and stared right back.

“Take a picture, it’ll last longer.” The brunette rolled his eyes, shrugging off his coat. 

“Maybe I will. I think you look good on camera.” “Not as good as you.” 

A short laugh escaped. “Well duh, I am the star after all. I have to look good.”

A faint pink tinted Tim’s ears and his dark eyes flickered to the menu lying on the table between them. Brian sighed and leaned forward, opening his own menu with little interest in actually looking through it; he knew what he’d order. 

After another few seconds of silence he spoke up again. “I meant it, Tim.” 

As much as he joked around about being the all important star of Alex’s student film, Brian wasn’t sure he fit in front of the camera. It made him feel awkward at times, unsure what exactly to do at times—of course part of that was the lack of instruction in the script. The fact most of his scenes lately just had him standing and reflecting or doing shorter scenes than his co-stars definitely had him questioning his acting abilities. 

Tim on the other hand, well… Brian had occasionally hung around to watch Alex film his scenes and his boyfriend almost looked like he belonged behind the camera. Maybe it was Tim’s usually stoic demeanor but it was as if he didn’t notice the camera recording him. He was certainly perfect for his character’s role. The only issue was how often Alex and Tim seemed to butt heads—Brian felt like it was getting worse as the student director grew more and more stressed about the production. 

“Guy needs to take a break.” Brian glanced out the window, watching as the daylight faded. 

“I guess.” Tim finally responded. 

Their waiter appeared before Brian could reply. After the pair gave their order and handed over the menus, they were once more left to talk in peace. 

Once more however, he wasn’t allowed to speak as Tim changed the topic. “So how was that party you went to?” 

Brian grinned and arched an eyebrow. “Maybe you shoulda come.” 

Tim gave him a look and made him chuckle; Tim was never much for parties, especially not the ones he liked—loud and full of people. It’d gone until early in the morning too, which had of course been used as a further excuse since Tim had to go to Alex’s shoot. 

“A blast. Nothing too extreme. Cops weren’t called this time.” The smile widened at the memory of a different party. “Just a typical college frat party. Bunch of people getting drunk and shouting along to loud music. They had a bonfire that surprisingly didn’t burn the house down.” 

Considering he’d planned this date, he hadn’t drank as much as some parties. It wouldn’t be fun for him or Tim if he’d been hungover today. It was one of the few times he’d been the designated driver for some of his other buddies instead of one of their girlfriends. 

His smile faltered slightly. Had Tim shuddered when he’d mentioned the house burning down or had he imagined it? Brian leaned over the table a little, reaching out to take his hand. “Something wrong?” 

“It’s nothing.” 

So he hadn’t imagined it. He wouldn’t pry. Tim always told him things when he was ready and if something truly bothered him, he’d let Brian know. “Alright then, keep your secrets.” 

He earned another eye roll for the quote.

“Hey, after this you wanna go back to my place?” He shifted back against the booth again. “I just got some new movies we could watch. Promise you’ll like them.”

“And they aren’t super long this time? ‘Cause I might fall asleep again if they are.” 

“Promise.” 

Brian wouldn’t mind if Tim fell asleep on him again though. He was a cuddler and Brian honestly found it cute. Sometimes his boyfriend would mumble under his breath, though he could never understand the words.

Their food came a while later and they continued their light banter. Most of the topics were small talk, though parts of it had circled back to Alex’s film—most complaints or worries. For a short time Brian went on about his job—he totally needed a raise considering all the people he had to deal with. Tim seemed to find his complaints entertaining. 

As they wrapped up, Brian handed off his card to pay, much to Tim’s apparent dismay. “I could’ve gotten half.” 

“I got it.” Brian shook his head. “I asked you out, I’m paying this time.” 

He gave the shorter man a reassuring nudge as he pocketed his card and took Tim’s hand to walk out. The night air was warm as they walked to their cars. Despite knowing they’d see each other in a few minutes, Brian was reluctant to let go. 

Leaning against the side of his car, Brian looked down as he pulled Tim closer. They shared a kiss before Brian pulled away and took out his keys. “I’ll meet you at my house, ‘kay?” 

“That’s the plan.” Tim lingered for a second longer before walking the short distance to his own car and following him out of the lot.

Have you seen the new Men’s Health mag interview with TZP? He was asked about queer representation and he said that when Nick was asked about his sexuality last week in an interview it was rude because it’s personal. Smart. He headed the interviewer off at the pass before he could ask if he was straight and taking a queer role away from a queer actor. I thought it was a really good interview overall. He was pretty inspiring.

They are both not out as queer and are out here talking down other queer movies, while being percieved by the general public as "straight people". Don't they know they're not allowed to do that, when they're not giving the queer community representation, at least without getting critisism and backlash from the queer community? It seems to me that TZP, much like H forget that he's supposed to be straight. He's speaking as a member of the community about the community he's not representing. It won't be recieved well.

Anyway, here is the quote about Nick and sexuality;

First of all, lol, the conversation about queer actors playing queer roles get's muted when the queer community is convinced the one's playing the queer roles are closeted, but queer. If the queer community is convinced said person is straight, then the conversation starts up again. It's not about the convincing performance. Many straight actors have won awards for playing queer people. It's still not okay.

Second of all, TZP starting to talk about Nick and being asked about his sexuality does indeed sound like TZP is going on defence and warning the interviewer to not ask him the same question. Sexuality can be a sensitive subject, but when you're an actor and a public figure playing a queer role, you will get asked questions like this. It's not rude nor unprofessional. Queer people want queer representation. If you're closeted you say you're straight or you don’t answer and let people speculate. If you're that concerned about people wanting to know if you represent them by identifying as queer, and you're that protective of your privacy, you shouldn't take a queer acting role. You should probably not be a celebrity at all. It's all a very "don't ask, don't tell" attitude and i don't care for it.

TZP also want less focus on sexuality and if people don't focus on it we've created change. That's the goal, but that's not how the world works at all. We all want a world where sexuality, race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, ability, social status and affluence doesn’t matter in how we are percieved by others. That's not how the world works. You can’t say it doesn’t matter that black people are cast in movies. You can’t say it doesn’t matter that people with dwarfism are cast to play people with dwarfism. All marginalised and minority groups wants representation and to be seen and validated by mainstream media. Same goes for queer people. So sexuality does matter. It matters very much for queer people, that queer people get to play queer people in order to normalise being queer.

So until we live in a world where sexuality isn't a hindrance whatsoever, and queer people enjoy the same success as straight people, and being queer is normalised, sexuality matters.

Before We Hit The Road Again | Part 1

Alex: "You have to be careful with this," Alex warned his soon to be two year old son. It was crazy how fast time was flying, this summer their little girl would be one year old already, Noah was going to be turning two. It was one of the rare mornings where Sophie was home and hadn't been back from filming so late that she had to sleep in a little bit. Alex knew she was up and downstairs spending time with Willa while he was just getting Noah. He was nerdy enough to want to spend the day, since it was May 4th (which very obviously was Star Wars day) teaching the little boy about one of his favorite movies series by getting him a little light saber to play with. "C'mon, let's find mommy so you can show her what you got," he suggested and they headed out, Noah slashing the light saber around like Alex had showed him (and instantly regretted because he was bound to crash it into things this way), and they headed downstairs to find Sophie.

Sophie: Today was a day that she didn't have to be at work early, late, she could just spend time at home with her family. She loved her job, she really did, but getting to come home and spend time with her family, was always going to be the best feeling. This morning she had woken and Willa was awake playing with her toys in her bed and she got her out and took her downstairs to play. Wanting to spend some quality time with their eldest daughter who would be three this summer. It amazed her that somehow they had three kids and none of them were going to be 'babies' anymore. Not to mention it would be three years together with Alex in another two short days. Grabbing out her phone she knew Willa loved the filters and she opened Instagram and found the one that turned her into a dog with little ears. Immediately Willa started barking and Sophie was chuckling taking different videos and saving them to her phone. When she heard the steps down the stairs Willa panted and woofed like a dog a few more times and her face turned bellowing 'Good morning!' from the little girl who saw her father with her brother before she closed off the app, not realizing that instead of closing, she posted the video with her daughter onto her instagram. "Well look at you too, is that a little lightsaber you've given him?"

Alex: Noah was all excited about the toy and was swinging the lightsaber around again as he headed into the living room where Alex could hear Sophie chuckling and Willa.. barking? The little girl turned around and bellowed ‘Good morning’ causing Alex to grin and give a little wave of his hand. “Good morning princess!” he greeted back, reaching down to catch a throw of the lightsaber so it would’ve push off a vase. “Yes that is a lightsaber,” he chuckled, watching Noah walk over to his mother to show her his new toy. “It’s May 4th, it would be so wrong not to have lightsabers today.” Reaching Willa and her, he picked the little girl up to hug her. “What were you and mommy doing, mh? Were you pretending to be a dog?”

Sophie: The little boy was swinging the lightsaber all excited to see it glow and move and she shook her head. "We're still not watching the Star Wars movies. Or are they starting to watch them." she said shaking her head chuckling. When the little boy toddled towards her. "Wow look at that, are you a big -- er superhero?" she furrowed her brow not knowing what it actually was from not watching them. "She was being the best pretend doggy, I have the cutest dogs vides on my phone for you to see."

They’d be fine to watch those,” he argued, though he was sure Sophie still wasn’t going to agree. “Superhero?” Alex repeated, almost looking offended for a split second. “He’s a jedi, babe. And a great one too. One that’s not gonna turn to the dark side.” Willa barked again as Sophie said she was the best little dog and Alex laughed softly. “Oh I can’t wait to see. You’re so cute, aren’t you?” he cooed and tickled her tummy briefly before letting her down where she started to crawl and pretend to be a dog, which easily caused the actual dogs’ attention.

Sophie: "No lego movies either. Not before they watch Harry Potter." she said pointing at him, because that was so going to be the first big thing beside Disney. "Look I was a superhero and pretty badass." she said, "But okay, he's a future Jedi but if he wants to be on the dark side he can and I'd still love him." she cooed scooping him up. Of course when she was crawling around she got the dogs all excited. "You know.. a puppy could be fun for them, we could do it as a joint birthday gift for all three of them." she suggested grinning.

Alex: “Of course you’d love him because he’s your son. Which is fine for me to dress him up as Luke Skywalker next Halloween so I can be Darth Vader and if we bend it all a little you’re gonna be my beloved wife who still loves me even though I’ve turned to the dark force and all that,” he grinned. “It’s not real Star Wars if they watch the kids shows.. can’t even be compared to the actual Harry Potter movies,” he said with a chuckle. Willa was squealing and laughing when the dogs came towards her and Alex raised a brow at Sophie. “Oh no, we’ve got more than enough animals right now, we don’t need to add another one to the mix, don’t you think? And I’m gonna be back on tour, that’s gonna be a pain with a little puppy..”

Sophie: When he talked about Halloween and doing the whole thing Luke Sywalker and Darth Vader -- and how would you dress up Willa and Avery. Nope, it wouldn't work, and you got me dressed up at Leia for a very sexy time afterwards so I'm thinking.. something Disney related." she grinned knowing he wouldn't approve. "Yeah it can't because Harry Potter is the superior and I won't have any rebuff about that while we're in England." she pointed out. "I mean the babies would love a puppy though." she said before sighing, "But I guess I get not wanting to while you're on tour. Just thought it'd be a fun joint present for the kids." she said which obviously since losing Baz, she knew Willa missed the dog that had always followed her around like a shadow. "Anyway, we should get some breakfast into our little dog and jedi."

Alex: “Hey, I never said you should be dressing up as Leia this Halloween,” he said with a shrug. “You could be Padme and we’ll be just making perfect sense,” Alex added with a grin. “Noah and Willa can be Luke and Leia as little kids, Avery can have the little baby yoda costume. Or we can dress her up as a baby Chewbacca,” he mused. “Hey, I’m just saying, if we got a puppy now we’d have to be touring with three kids, a puppy and all the boys. That’s not gonna be great to have to potty train a puppy while on the road. Unless you decide you rather wanna stay home.. but I don’t know, that’d suck to be away for so long then,” he murmured. Sophie suggested breakfast and Alex’s stomach grumbled as if he heard that. “Ooh, yes. Breakfast sounds great, I can get in charge of that,” he offered and then soon after was off to the kitchen to start making some breakfast pancakes and toasts for the kids and them to have.

Sophie: There was a roll of her eyes when he said about not needing to be Leia that there were other options. "we already did a baby yoda so that's not so fun to repeat." she said shaking her head, as if they didn't have plenty of time figure this all out, plus she didn't know all his fall tour dates, they could be busy for Halloween for all she remembered. "I haven't decided I want to stay home, unless you want to be away from the kids for months at a time." she murmured. Which she'd respect. "I mean we've managed newborns on a tour bus and we have our own, what would a puppy add to it, and you did say you wanted Noah to grow up with a puppy." she pointed out remember when she was pregnant him saying that. A little while later she could tell he had to be close to finishing breakfast so she gathered the two oldest and got them out to the kitchen and set in their chairs before heading up and grabbing Avery and moving her to her playpen downstairs. "After we eat I'll nurse her so I have more energy."

Alex: Alex almost scoffed when Sophie question whether he rather wanted to be away from the kids for months and he quickly shook his head. “You know I don’t want that,” he murmured with a shrug. He did remember saying something like that, but back then, they had no idea they’d end up with three kids under three and he wasn’t sure how good of an idea it was to bring a puppy into the mix. Though of course they were both impulsive when it came to getting more animals, they’d very much proven that in the last few months. None of that had to be decided this morning though, so Alex wandered into the kitchen instead to make them all some breakfast. He was ready to call for Sophie when she came into the kitchen with the kids and settled them at the table. “Food first, then nursing,” he suggested with a chuckle and poured himself some coffee. “Tea or coffee for you?”

Sophie: "Nursing takes a lot of energy out of you did you know that? I'm so tired afterwards sometimes, especially with them getting older and nursing Noah at night and Avery still." Even though Avery was old enough to eat food, she was showing the least interest in actual food and still just nursing, which the doctor said that was perfectly normal. That some babies took longer some took shorter. So she took some of the pancakes and loaded them up taking a few bites before helping to cut up pancakes on Willa's plate while Alex helped with Noah's. "Um can I have water, caffeine before nursing is going to have her all wired." she chuckled. "Then I'll have a cup of tea." she said but for now water would work.

Alex: “I mean, I could’ve guessed but how would I have been supposed to know?” he murmured with a soft chuckle. Once they were settled, he helped cut up Noah’s pancake so the boy could eat. “Ah that makes sense,” he chuckled and got up briefly to get himself some coffee and a glass of water for Sophie. He took a sip before sitting back down. It was simple, just them as a family sitting together, chatting a bit with Noah all excited about his lightsaber that halfway through breakfast he was determined to go get while Willa was occasionally barking and reaching for Sophie’s phone for more of the filter. When they were done, Alex helped get the kids cleaned off so they could run off again while Sophie got Avery to nurse her and he offered to clean up the kitchen. He was just loading the dishwasher when Sophie’s phone buzzed on the table. Alex furrowed his brows when he saw Rian’s name light up on the screen. “Babe – Rian’s calling you, I’ll just pick it up, yeah?” he called over before he did pick up the phone. “Hi Ri.” “Hi Soph- oh. Hi Al – Tell me Sophie wanted to post that video on Instagram?” the drummer said. “What video?” Alex furrowed his brows, reaching for his own phone and opening Instagram only to find a very adorable video of Willa very publicly posted on Sophie’s Instagram story. “Oh shit.. – Babe! Soph!” Hanging up the phone with Rian, he hurried into the living room with both phones in hand.

Sophie: "I mean I don't think men would know since they can't breastfeed." she laughed softly. Taking a sip of her own water she started to dig into her food. "I was thinking tonight we can try and see if Avery wants to try some mashed potatoes or maybe some apple sauce." Since they had been trying different foods. Of course breakfast was always a bit of chaos and with them having one kid barking and the other child trying to get to his lightsaber. Sophie got up and moved to the couch to get comfortable with Avery while she nursed happily making soft little noises. "Yeah go ahead." she said since she didn't know why Rian would be calling her right now instead of Alex so she figured maybe something was going on with Alex's phone or they had missed it. When Alex came ushering into the room she glanced up, "What?" she furrowed her brows. "Is something wrong?" she asked as she shifted trying not to disturb Avery.

Alex: Somewhere on the way from the kitchen to the living room Alex had ended up ending the phone call with Rian and was now holding both phones out for Sophie to see. “She’s all over,” he said, his phone only just showing the very end of Sophie’s story before something else started and Alex frowned at the sound of a random song playing. He turned his phone around, holding Sophie’s out for her to take while he restarted the story to show to Sophie. “It’s on your Instagram stories,” he said.

Sophie: When he said she's all over she furrowed her brows until she shows the video of Willa with the filter to look like a dog and barking before saying good morning. "Oh my god… how.. I …" she shifted causing Avery to whine and she tried to not move to fast. "Oh my god just..take it down. Go on my phone and take it down." she said gesturing because they never wanted to show of their kids like that. "It was a mistake I didn't think it was posting anything."

Alex: Alex had often ended up deleting things he had posted, whether it was on Instagram or on Twitter (when he was still using that), so he grabbed Sophie’s phone again to get the story deleted. He wasn’t sure how long it had been up for people to see, how many people had recorded and then reposted it. He deleted the story and then took a long breath, unsure what to do while Sophie seemed to be freaking out while trying not to disturb Avery. “I know you didn’t mean to post that,” he said, because he was 100% sure she would’ve asked him if it was okay if she had actually intended to post anything where their kids were so very visible.

Sophie: She shifted Avery off of her and she whined but she put her into the playpen, obviously upset that this was happening. She could only imagine the number of people reposting it on fan sites, on blogs, everywhere. "Oh my god I showed our daughter's face all over the internet. It was an accident I swear." Her tears welling up because she was so upset over the fact that people had seen that when she tried her hardest to keep them concealed, they both did.

Alex: Alex could get really protective over his family, over Sophie and the kids especially and often he’d end up really mad and emotional about these kinds of things but right now, he just knew one of them had to keep a cool head. “Soph,” he said as Avery whined about not being able to nurse anymore. He reached out, taking Sophie’s wrists to pull her in and then he wrapped his arms around her, one hand resting on the small of her back, the other sliding up to hold the back of her neck. “I know you didn’t mean that. I don’t think anyone thinks it was anything but an accident. It’s down now, we’re gonna have to figure out what we can do to get it down from wherever it might’ve been reposted,” he said, swallowing hard.

Sophie: Sophie knew Alex was just as fiercely protective of her and the kids as you could want a partner to be. When he pulled her in he held her tight to his body as she started to cry out of anger at herself. Body shaking a little bit. “I didn’t mean to, I was so stupid for doing that it could have happened.” She said “I was on social media to use the filter I should have known.” The risk of it, she should have known the risk of it all. “We can.. I can.. post a statement asking people to take it down.” She said shaking slightly.

Alex: “You weren’t stupid,” he said softly. “It happens. There’s no point in blaming yourself. You didn’t mean to post it, but it happens.” He held her tight to him, feeling her body shaking and the tears against him. Noah, who was never a fan of his parents being oh so close together, came over and started to push against Alex’s legs to get between him and Sophie, but Alex shook his head slightly. “No, Noah,” he said firmly causing the little boy to whine a little bit but getting over it quickly as he sat down by their feet looking up curiously. “I want you to take a breath first,” Alex said softly for Sophie, his hands moving, arms unwrapping so he could cup her face in his hands instead and brush his thumbs over her cheeks to wipe the tears away. “Then we can figure out what statement to post, okay?”

Sophie: “I just… I should have known better.” She murmured. “Being in social media means that I could have done that and now everyone has seen her face.” She knew part of her was overly protective of showing their kids. To a point that I was probably too much but she understood. Taking a breath as he cupped hr face and brushed away the tears. “I can just say it’s an accident that I’ve always wanted them to have privacy if they ever see them it’s an accident and to please delete it if you’ve posted it for their privacy?”

Alex: “Babe, it was an honest mistake, you couldn’t have known better. And you should not be blaming yourself like that the way you are. It happens.” He gently brushed her tears away and locked their eyes for a moment, nodding when she suggested what to say on her post. “Yeah, that sounds just right. Let them know we never intent on our kids being that publicly posted and we’d appreciate it if anyone who reposted would delete that.”

Sophie: She nodded, “I mean I get people are excited and some genuinely just want to know her but I just think they still deserve privacy for now. Maybe when they’re older.” She said as she sat down. Grabbing her phone she made the post before posting it on her Instagram and hoping that everyone would respect their wishes that if they had the video they at least wouldn’t post it.

One of my HC's is that during the early filming of MH they would all go to applebees to eat. And have rants about fandoms and movies (alex always starts it)

Alex is a starwars fan, Jay is a star trek fan. Jay always wins because he brings up the incest thing with the series. Which causes Alex to huff and pout. (Brian and Tim keep a tally on who was won these fights. Jay is winning by a lot, it's always the incest thing)

Oh my god okay so in Alex’s movie it was all dramatic talking about how whatever the characters did, somehow they always came back to the same town and it felt like they were trapped, And it became true with the actual people on set! Like Tim, Brian, Amy, Jessica, Alex AND Jay are all trapped in this dinky lil town bc of the operator and it puts such a horrific twist on the original movie Alex was filming! I’m gonna eat drywall!!!!!

What it’s like to date and be in a relationship with the MH guys

Summary: My headcanons on what I think it would be like to be in a relationship with Jay, Alex, Brian, and Tim.

What I mean by that isn’t that it hardly feels like your in a relationship but rather that being in a relationship with him is just easy and simple

You guys’ dates mostly consist of just having movie nights and over all just being in each others company

He’s not a pda kind of guy

But then he gets worse and he just never comes to see you anymore

He probably sent you a break up text basically just saying that somethings have happened and that you guys aren’t going to work out anymore and then just disappears off the face of the planet with not farther explanation

It’s not you, it’s him, he didn’t wanna get you infected and needing to do what he thought was ‘helping’

Jay probably asked you what Alex said to you before he left once he starts the channel but you only tell him what you know

He looks so brooding and like he doesn’t want anyone to talk to him

But like, if you look at him when he’s not going through all nine rings of hell and then some, he’s just an awkward and shy person

Idk but the fact that he’s kinda awkward makes him cute and charming in a way 

I’ve mentioned that you’re probably the first serious relationship he’s been in if not his first relationship at all, so he kinda doesn’t really know what to do 

Your dates are mostly late night drives around town and maybe going to an occasional hangout stop or go see a movie rather than an actual “proper” date

If you wanna go eat somewhere he’s fine with that but closed spaces with lots of people kinda make him a little nervous, plus he seems like he enjoys more quiet things with you

The quiet lets him and you focus on each other and that makes the date more special to him 

He’s a little bit scared to integrate physical affection at first and still occasionally is, but once you let him know that you are open for him the be affectionate like that then he feels comfortable 

Pda makes him nervous since he doesn’t like drawing attention to himself very much but he’ll hold your hand

One small form of pda that he’s okay with and actually loves is when you guys are sitting close together and you put your head on his shoulder

But sometimes when he’s having a rough patch or moment, he prefers to be little spoon but won’t mention it

- Brian is good at cooking on accident. That post abt the persons mom who spun their spice rack around, chose spices at random, and never kept track of anything but shit came out tasting bomb anyways? That's Brian. Man doesn't know what he's doing but fuck if he's doing it well

-jay, Brian, and Alex all have asthma. Jay's is pretty mild, but Alex has it BAD in college

-sarah is super outdoorsy. Loves camping, fishing, hiking- if it means a day out at the lake shes in 10000%

-gang has movie nights. That's it.

-i always jumped between Brian being raised catholic and Brian being Jewish so here's my compromise hc: Brian's dad was Roman catholic but his mom was Jewish. She kinda half-converted to make it easier for the kids, but they still tried to stay connected to Jewish heritage nd stuff. In college Brian gets way more into learning about it, even knows some hebrew/ Yiddish !! He struggles with some identity stuff from it and is afraid he can't properly connect with either side of his family, but in the end both his parents are very happy and proud of him for being so interested in every aspect of his cultural heritage <3

-i actually have a lot of mh families hcs so here's some more: Tim's mom got pregnant at 17 and was essentially kicked out by her parents. Tim's dad stuck around for a little bit but once Tim started having issues he dipped and Tim doesn't remember anything about him. His mom tried really hard and did love Tim but obviously shit was really difficult and so she took him to the hospital. They don't talk a whole lot, and their relationship is pretty rocky, but Tim doesn't blame her for anything. Eventually she gets remarried and Tim has some younger half-siblings he doesn't know a lot about but loves.

-jays mom also got pregnant pretty young and she and Jay's dad had a shotgun wedding because of it. Jay's dad was quite a bit older and ended up leaving her for someone else. Jay has an older sister who is his forever best friend. Their mom gets remarried when Jay's in middle school and now he has 2 older step brothers too!! Baby Jay merrick ftw that man is a youngest sibling if I've ever seen one (and I am one so.)

- Brian LOVES kids a lot and always enjoyed babysitting like, cousins and nieces and nephews and stuff. He had a big family so it worked out well for him. It's bc he's a kid at heart <3<3

- tim likes kids and is also very scared of them. Kids love tim also and love scaring him. Tim's blood pressure does not like kids

-jay is kid-neutral but they usually end up liking him for his autistic swag.

-alex is awful with kids and they all hate him. Babies stare at him in elevators and if he looks at them they cry. He doesn't know what it is but they Don't Like Him

- jay is a bug lover. His special interest when he was younger was insects and he could probably correctly identify any beetle you show him and also name at least five of its most common relatives. He thought about entomology as a major but settled on film with a minor in biology :^)

-amy and Jessica are childhood bestfriends!!!best friends!!!! They were like. Playground dating in elementary school nd helped her find a good surgeon when she decided she wanted top surgery. Gfs

-Sarah, Seth, and Tim all talked MAD FUCKING SHIT on Alex during filming. They were the Alex kralie hate club.

One of the only actual canon things from mh that ive ever really changed or just dont like to use for stuff is that alex is bad at movies. Like yes, hes an obnoxious film major and enjoys the most film bro shit ever, but i like him having a little skill wah wah wah. Yes its hilarious when hes awful at it but i like when he can write decent scripts and actually knows what hes talking about. I dont care. The world is my oyster and alex kralie is my shining pearl <3
