welsknight fanon v canon : aka the funniest contrast ive ever seen from fanon v canon.

the contrast between canon and fanon with welsknight is so funny to me. every single fanon piece (usually writing but sometimes art) i see of him hes so knightly and goody two shoes and like. posh?? and then i watch his videos and he puts a bridge on hypnos front lawn without asking for permission. he made a secret tunnel between him and hypnos storage rooms for shits and giggles. hes doing an old man impression of kids these days with their gadgets and he brings up papyrus paper of all things. he gives off such mischevious little man vibes and he is at best a knight wannabe but realistically seems to be just be in it for the aesthetics and fandom takes it all way too seriously. its hilarious and i genuinely cant take any fanon depiction of him being all knightly and pretentious without thinking of the fact that he spent so much on mangrove to line the secret tunnel between him and hypnos storage rooms which he built without telling hypno. peak smug cat meme vibes

Periodic reminder that unless a person specifically and clearly tells you it is okay to tell others they are trans or queer, you should err on the side of caution and assume they do not want you to tell people (especially random people!) about their transness or queerness.

You have no idea, generally, why somebody doesn't talk openly about their trans or queer status, and you have no idea, truly, how somebody might react to that information. The interesting thing about seeing people discover Ed Gamble through Taskmaster is that some look at his desperation dedication to win, judge him by his general appearance and interactions with Greg and the rest of the cast, and pass him off as some stereotypical, overbearing "jock" character, when in reality he's a type 1 diabetic, asthmatic, ex-goth kid who used to collect salt and pepper pots and geodes, who dislikes sports partly due to bad school experiences, who loves food, heavy metal, comic books, board games, his wife, and his cat that he's allergic to, and who's talked openly about his mental and physical struggles with losing weight and managing his type 1.

I dunno, I just find it funny when I see people describe him as "a high school bully" or a "hostile competitor" when he's clearly just an over-excitable, super massive TM nerd whose dream was to be on the show and make love to some hummus.

the shibuya arc is almost over, i still cant believe it started off with 5 episodes of teen gojo and suguru having the best and then the worst time of their lives all to the back drop of a slice of life setting.
