Before I pull cards, I keep getting the image of the color blue. But this blue is like the color of the sky when the sun is rising during the winter. The crispy light blue with puffy grey clouds that are not yet illuminated white yet. I saw the sunrise last night and wrote a little blurb while I was watching it. I remember saying something about the light grey and yellow clouds, lit up just as the sun was barely on the horizon, peeking up past the hills. I  said that those colors are what I believe angel wings probably look like. Now, I don’t believe in angels in a Christian sense because I’m pagan but I do like the symbology of them. Those colors came after a moment of bright, fiery orange that sliced through nighttime blue clouds…I believe that a sense of hope will probably come back to you. Maybe it’s just for a small moment during the month but it’s enough to help you keep trucking. You also could’ve lost someone recently and it’s hitting you hard during the holidays, but you may encounter something that represents this person. This person will show you that they are with you at that time and they want you to enjoy your holidays. It’s a bittersweet feeling. But there is a “the calm after a storm” feeling when it comes to this. Now onto the cards…

The same message carried through. This December will feel very hectic for you because you FEEL like you have to handle everything by yourself. There is a feeling of having to pick up roles in which you are not used to, because someone else used to do them (this could be the person that had past). This feels like an important male family member: a dad, a grandpa, or even your partner. It doesn’t have to be but there is a male figure coming through and with these partner leaning cards, it could be your late partner (maybe someone you were just really close with). 

There is a feeling that you feel like you have to create the magic of the holidays now and you are very stressed and overwhelmed with all that you have to do. I feel an energy that is tiptoeing on the line of an emotional and mental breakdown. There is someone in your life that wants you to ask for their help, which I feel like you keep pushing away because you want to handle it. This could be someone you even have an argument with which then makes you question where your relationship with them stands. But just know, all will be well after a conversation. They want to comfort you and release some of the weight off your shoulders. Maybe this will give you a heads up so you can avoid this situation as well as the stress you are putting on yourself (it will make your holidays go smoother and happier).  Be patient with yourself and others (especially out in public). 

For those who have lost someone that brought the magic of the holidays, just know that they are helping you energetically during this time. There could be a moment where it seems magical and just know that it was them bringing the energy they used to bring - they don’t want to miss out on the fun either. <3

This month is about healthy selfishness for you, Pile 2! I think this is part of your healing process after some type of heartbreak and you are knowingly letting the attention and care be turned towards you. This could be the first holiday season without a partner that wasn’t aligned with you, or your family that you don’t want contact with. Instead, you might be having a friends holiday season where you and your friends celebrate and get together, which is the family you chose for yourself. These friends know of your heartbreak and are doing the most so you have the best holiday - they, in turn, also have a good holiday season as well! You are still showing your appreciation for them, that you’re more than willing to give because they deserve it. But there is a lot of internal focus on yourself during this season. You’re learning that you can have the life you always dreamt of with happy holidays and being surrounded by people that genuinely love you. This will give you a sense of hope for the future. I feel like this month will be a happy month for you, even though you may have some rough days due to this heartbreak. There will be more good days than bad though! This feels like turning a new leaf, starting a new book (not even a new chapter), and going down a path you had ignored due to uncertainty and insecurity. You’re on the precipice of a new journey and that, itself, is the greatest gift.

Alright, Pile 3, let’s see. There is a conundrum here where there is a card talking about control and another talking about releasing it. You could be someone that usually has the reigns regarding a situation or the holidays in general. However, it feels like you are easing back. 

For some, you could be finally quitting a job and adopting an “anyway the wind blows” mentality. You want to figure out what you want and you’re determined to find it. Some people could have tried to discourage you in the past but you aren’t having it. 

For others, you could be finally taking a vacation for the holidays (like that could be a gift for yourself or from someone else) or you are gonna be going on a honeymoon. There is just an overall feeling of finally getting time to relax after working so hard. You’re laying back and letting life move around you. It’s like you’re gonna be in a void space where the outside world doesn’t feel like it exists, and instead of being scared of being “lost,” you’re embracing it. And I encourage you to!

Maybe all you want these holidays is time for yourself, time to relax and that is the main message I’m getting that can be general for everyone in this pile. You gave everyone their gifts or spent time with people and now you can be a hermit for a little while. And I have a feeling that’s what you want. That, or you are finally taking a leap and embarking on a new adventure. You probably want a head start before the change of the year (and I don’t see a problem with that).

the prominent themes of vampirism such as desire, hunger, mystery and illusions tie so perfectly with the moon and its nodes. it wasn't surprising to find the nodes dominating this genre the most, along with the luminaries (moon & sun nakshatras, but more fittingly the moon). i will not be touching on the few sun nakshatras playing vampires, as the moon makes far more sense symbolizing true vampiric nature.

So many vampire movie posters have this luminous glow to them, likely done consciously because of these creatures' affinity for nighttime, and generally being nocturnal as they're extremely sensitive to any type of sunlight.

I've once briefly mentioned, in my "Moon Dominant Themes" post, that lunar natives can operate very secretly, such as 'working in the shadows'. And the whole lore of vampires always emphasizes their ability to hide themselves while still living among humans.

Vampires undergoing periods of dormancy and resurgence is interesting as that can also be linked back to the moon's cycles of waxing & maning. The influence that the moon has on vampires, in some legends, is during certain lunar phases in which they become more active. A full moon could literally mean that their strength has enhanced, whilst a moonless night could mean their desire for blood is heightened.

Claire Nakti explored, in her "TOP 3 Most Magical & Mystical Astrology Signs | Cults, Divination, & Occultism | Part 2 (Nakshatras)" documentary, on the ability of Moon nakshatra natives to brainwash/mind control/hypnotize.

As these natives are often cult leaders, their ability to influence the mind goes back to their lunar-rulership. The Moon rules over the mind, emotions and subconscious. A vampire's ability to hypnotize humans and other lesser beings is in parallel to the Moon's influence over the psyche and subconscious.

This illusory nature found in vampires can be connected to the shadow planet, Rahu. As Rahu is illusions, desire, hunger. Rahu is very seductive and tempting; this could tie back to some legends in which vampires lure their prey giving them promises of pleasure.

Ardra Sun Tom Cruise.

In "Interview with the Vampire", Tom Cruise plays Lestat who is an overindulgent, greedy vampire. Rahu governs desires and the pursuit of worldly pleasures. It's related to insatiable cravings that lead to greed. The lustful nature of Rahu is seen in Lestat's intense bloodlust and the chaos it brings.

Rahu's associations with eclipses relates to their ability of being hidden in the shadows. Another hint is in Rahu being a Shadow planet itself, just like Ketu is which is also related to vampires.

The story about Rahu's head getting decapitated by Vishnu for trying to get a drink out of the nectar of immortality can be brilliantly paralleled with vampirism. Due to Rahu's consumption of the drop of the nectar, he became the infamous dismembered immortal. His dismemberment a symbol of the detachment from humanity to vampirism.

Rahu is considered an entity of darkness and malevolence, preying upon cosmic forces and defying the natural order of things (such as vampirism which does defy nature itself, ie. the dead becoming undead) in pursuit for immortality. Vampires are literal parasites, and Rahu is also parasitical. Vampires feed on humans without providing any benefit in the ecosystem in return, a one-sided relationship which resembles one between a parasite and its host. Rahu is depicted as insatiable and consuming, feeding and draining one's energy. It creates a cycle of thirsting for more without any fulfillment, a predicament vampires find themselves in.

Ashwini Sun Luke Evans

Rahu and Ketu represent the lunar nodes, respectively depicted as the head and tail of the celestial serpent. Their energetic interaction can be likened to the endless chase between a vampire and a vampire hunter, villain and hero, the friction between unlikely lovers. It's obvious in how Rahu embodies the insatiable hunger for experiences and the craving for fulfillment that it can be the vampiric force in such a dynamic. Like a vampire, Rahu relentlessly pursues its desires, often leading to greed and excess. And then you have Ketu, on the other hand, which embodies detachment, spirituality, and liberation from worldly attachments. It quite literally symbolizes the renunciation of desires and the quest for enlightenment, opposing Rahu's restlessness for more. Ketu is a cutting force, and like a determined vampire hunter, is skilled in tracking down illusions and breaking free from temptations.

Although it sounds like a more fitting interplay between Rahu as the evil force and Ketu as the hunter, it's actually more seen in the other way around.

It is more so that Rahuvians are the vampire hunters, which I found so intriguing; showcasing how Rahu is both the parasitical (illusory), and also the one to be rid of parasites (disillusionment). And I have explored this particular theme in my Rahu post -- how Rahu natives experience a lot of disillusionment from their reality, wanting to cast away the illusions that drain the life force.

The reversal of roles showcases the fluidity of the nodes; their roles almost always expected to reverse, illustrating just how Rahu and Ketu are deeply intertwined with the concept of karma, representing the push-&-pull between cosmic forces of destiny.

More nodal-vampire movies, and other examples in which Rahu & Ketu find themselves on opposite sides of the same spectrum in which they are both vampires, similar to the friction seen between Louis (Ketu) and Lestat (Rahu) in "Interview with the Vampire".

In the film "Fright Night", the one who has to kill the villainous vampire is an Ashwini native. It is also interesting how in "Queen of the Damned" (above, right), the villain is a Magha native who must be stopped by her Mula lover -- both being vampires.

As mentioned in the figure image about the film "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter", where a nodal-ruled native is paired up with someone who is lunar-ruled, this is a type of pairing seen a lot in these supernatural stories.

Similarly to "Twilight", as Edward was the one to turn Bella into a vampire, we see the planetary reversal of this in which the lunar-native is the one who turns the nodal-native.

Or the film "Vamps" in which Hasta Sun, Shatabhisha Moon native Alicia Silverstone turns Mula Sun, Magha Moon native Krysten Ritter into a vampire.

It isn't a surprise that the moon and its nodes are related to the extremities of the mind. These energies can cause isolation due to how polarizing they come off in regular society (furthermore validating its relation to vampirism), so they become attracted to one another -- especially the nodal natives to the moon natives, because of how much they feel magnetized by them, and vice versa.

edit: also paul wesley could be a purva phalguni moon instead of magha, there is an unconfirmed birthtime out there + he is a pushya sun and i have noticed sun nakshatras along with saturn nakshatras in vampiric roles as well. might touch on this some time soon.

The presence of some Sun nakshatras in vampire stories is present and that could tie to the Sun's influence over the Moon despite the fact that solar symbolisms regarding vampirism don't exist, and vampires are far too sensitive to the Sun so much so that they get sunburn during the full moon where the sun's light reflects (interesting to think about). The whole point of a vampire is to lurk in the shadows or during nighttime, so the strict avoidance of the Sun could make sense in there being solar-natives in vampiric roles. It makes for an interesting contradiction, certainly.

Ketu is the body of the severed demon Rahu following the consumption of the elixir. Much like Rahu, Ketu is also associated to darkness and illusions. But it symbolizes the darker, unseen aspects of reality -- all the hidden forces and energies as I've touched on in my Ketu exploration. Ketu and Rahu are two sides of the same coin, it isn't surprising to see them share many vampiric roles/stories.

Ketu is about spiritual liberation, detachment (in this context, becoming a vampire means a harsh detachment from normality/the old life), transcendence; these existential themes are found in vampirism.

The character Louis in "Interview with the Vampire" played by Mula Sun Brad Pitt describes his existential crisis as a vampire to a Magha Sun human who interviews him.

The enhanced strength, agility, speed, hearing and all these abilities are gained after the painful transformation process, going from human to vampire. This process is seen in the film "Interview with the Vampire", Mula Sun Brad Pitt's character going through excruciating pain when turning. My mind immediately takes me to Claire Nakti's first Mula nakshatra exploration, in which she touched on the interconnection of pain and evolution for access to more powers.

Vampires are caught between worlds, trapped in a liminal space between life & death. Ketu can cause feelings of entrapment. The yearning for release from their eternal existence is a common theme, as Ketu wants to escape its body. Louis de Pointe du Lac is the best character as example of rejecting one's own nature and wanting to cease to exist.

Nighttime Routine with Genshin Boys [Inazuma]

Summary: A/N: Welp this series seems pretty popular so I'm continuing this but for night. Check the "How They Greet You In The Morning" imagines from my Genshin masterlist!

Kazuha: I imagine he likes to stay up for a while so that he can see the stars before he sleeps. After doing his routine and joining you, he wants to hear about your day- preferably any good things. You realize he's probably treating it as a nice bedtime story. When you ask him about his day, he always says "It was wonderful," making you a little annoyed that he wouldn't elaborate. You beg him, but he just laughs a little and says he'll tell you tomorrow. He gives you a little smooch on your forehead, so you trust that he'll keep his promise.

Gorou: His nighttime routine is a little longer than most, since he has to take care of his ears and tail. You offer to help do his tail-care routine, but he's skeptical that it's just an excuse to touch his tail (it is). But he lets you anyway, and instantly melts when you're petting him. Shoos you away when you get a little too distracted petting him. Sometimes he makes a pillow wall between you to stop you, but he can't deny he feels a lot more comfortable without the distance. The night ends with you both snuggling, with Gorou in a perfect position for you to thread your hands through his hair.

Itto: He's pretty energetic still at night, because he likes thinking about the beetle battles he won, how to start improving his TCG deck tomorrow- typical Itto things. He acts a little goofy when doing his nighttime routine, but it's all in good fun. I feel like he has a lot of 12am random ideas, which are entertaining to talk to him about, until he falls asleep. He says he sleeps with his eyes open which is kinda creepy... you have to close his eyelids for him.

Thoma: Starts his nighttime routine with you once he's finished with his cleaning duties. He likes to talk with you while brushing his teeth or washing his face about anything that happened during both your days. He is especially amused by the fluffy headband you wear that matches his. Teases you for wanting to be tucked in, but does it anyway. Sometimes asks you to tuck him in to get back at you for giggles.

Ayato: Asks his servants to fetch you whatever you need before going to sleep (warm milk, sleep mask, etc). Literally makes sure your conditions are perfect so you can fall asleep blissfully. Him on the other hand... you gotta try and drag him to bed since he insists on continuing to busy himself with work. You start preparing the bed, trying to tempt him by fluffing his pillows and telling him that you barely saw him today. He's hesitant, but then realized he can't say no to you, and eventually joins you.

Heizou: Usually his nighttime routine is pretty normal, since he's tired from a day's work and will immediately fall peacefully asleep. He always asks what are your plans for tomorrow because he senses excitement. "I already know the criminal is going to be confused- what if I lure him to us, and he'll find himself caught right in our trap as we eat a bowl of ramen. Ha! Wouldn't that be funny?" "Go to sleep Heizou." He sinks into his pillow with a "Fine...", and one last playful boop to your nose before drifting off.

i do think that little glinda would be very clingy, but her favorite things to do are hold pinkys !!! (fav one eekkk!!!!) and lean her head on her mamas shoulder. but i also think she would enjoy gift giving ALOTTT, especially homemade things like making little cards, drawings, or crafts that she definitelyyy made after she finished all her other work. (i hc she likes giving expensive stuff when shes big, js another thing to share.)

Bedtime headcanons!

- Babygirl is UNBELIEVABLYYY fussy when it comes to bedtime sometimes,, whining and practically throwing a small tantrum if she’s too wound up to go to bed. Elphaba could practically get a headache from it sometimes (she tries not to!! Elphie needs quiet time,,)

- Glinda loves loves loves trying to be independent during bedtime, picking out her whole pajamas and trying to brush her teeth/hair but it takes maybe a couple minutes before she’s calling out for help. “Mamaaaa, need help!” And she just offers Elphaba the toothbrush/hairbrush with big ol’ puppy dog eyes,,,

- has a very specific routine, no matter what, even if in Fiyero’s dorm for a sleepover. It goes; snack, pajamas, teeth then hair and Glinda will have a meltdown if off by even a moment. (She can’t help it :(( trust)

- Fiyero and Elphaba try to help along with her routine as best as they can, even if Glinda is too energetic to slow down, ushering her around gently with small words of encouragement. “Come on, princess, teeth then we can focus on getting a stuffie, hm?”

- insists on sleeping almost on top of one of her caregivers, even if it’s way too hot she needs the contact to feel comfy enough to even doze off a tiiiny bit. Fiyero is not a big cuddler but he tries, he practically like starfishes around the bed and Glinda almost follows him to do so, Elphaba insists on sleeping by the wall because of it. (She has gotten kicked off once, nd it was funny but very annoying to the green witch at 4 in the morning.)

- has practically a whole mountain of stuffies and she needs to give them all goodnight kisses or else she believes they’ll all be veryvery angry at her. Glinda makes Elphaba do it as well, but only to a couple of them, she doesn’t insist on it as heavy as sleeping next to her, they all go by the foot of her bed then!!

- Glinda owns the fancy kind of defusers? Like with the essential oils n everything! Her favorite scents r citrusy, Elphaba’s are lavender, and Fiyero’s is kind of piney! It’s a turn system to who gets to put their little thing in the machine,, or Glinda n Fiyero play rock paper scissors until someone wins to put their preferred scent in!!

- Glinda can sometimes struggle with insomnia? Even being the sleepiest girl ever sometimes it just never comes very easy and it frustrates her to no end,,, Elphaba tried to ease this by bringing her into her lap and reading her stories with the little pop up book of Oz until she feels tired enough to doze off. (It works on both Glinda and Fiyero but he would neverrrrr admit it)

Thiollier x energetic reader

Warnings: male!Reader, implied neurodivergent Thiollier, he gets very overwhelmed, no beta reader (we die like men(I just realized how many typos are in all of my posts)), you two aren’t completely compatible but he still loves you, no spoilers

⚘ It’s very difficult for him to be in too much of a stimulating environment. Thiollier is fine with energetic people, but he does get worried that they might move too much or will do something that will set him off.

⚘ Thiollier has his moments where he will tell you to be quiet or calm down, but most of the time he won’t tell you anything because he’s afraid he might offend you. He just doesn’t like it when you move a lot, it can make him feel anxious.

⚘ he does truly like to listen to you ramble or watch you do something, but sometimes it’s just too much. He prefers when you’re back from fighting or if it’s the nighttime and you’re a bit tuckered out. Then he gets to still listen to you, but now you’re not constantly on the move.

⚘ if you try to get him to come along with you on anything that is spontaneous and last minute, he will decline. He needs at least one day in advance to know, and even that’s too spontaneous for him. You need to give him time to mentally prepare to go out.

⚘ sometimes he will be fine when you’re doing anything, even if it would usually be too stimulating. This usually happens when he really misses you or if he’s having a particularly good week and is in a positive mood. He likes to see you happy, and it does extend to seeing you excited during these times.

⚘ but he does hate when you yell, scream, or you’re just super loud. I think he does have noise sensitivity. He doesn’t mind expected noise, so if you are going to be loud, please inform him in advance. When you’re being super loud and it’s not expected, he does get extremely overwhelmed, and will freak out.

⚘ he will tell you to please be quiet, or to just shut up. He does feel very sorry, but he also knows his limits and when he’s reaching them.

⚘ if your energy extends to your physical affection, that would most likely be a positive thing for Thiollier. He is a very aggressive lover when it comes to physical affection. I think I mentioned in this post that if you bite him, he will be annoyed but not seriously. That is the kind of energetic affection that he enjoys.

⚘ also dropping yourself on him when he’s laying down, or just touching him all over erratically. All is good. He loves all of it, give him more please.

you immediately ran to your boyfriend, jumping in his arms as he held you by your thighs. you placed short and sweet kisses all over his face.

“you missed me huh?”. hoshi loved teasing you about how clingy you were. you ignored his remark and hugged tighter, you really did miss him.

don’t be mistaken, you loved that soonyoung was finally living his dream. you were even a fan of his band yourself, but things got lonely at home sometimes. no matter how much you felt lonely soonyoung always made sure you knew he loved you sooo much.

“come on, let’s go get you ready for bed. it’s already late and i’m exhausted just from waiting for you!”

he smiled as you dragged his arm to your shared bedroom.

I am loving everyone’s mascot ideas! Mind if I add another? A nursery has a mascot named PanPan and, you guessed it, he’s a panda! His name means bread and he is dressed like a baker. The whole nursery is themed like a cutesy bakery. When he woke up, everyone had already evacuated with their kids except for one daycare worker.

Nadeshiko is a recent college graduate who just moved to the city to start adulting. Appearance-wise, she has long, black hair and big brown eyes, hidden behind some pretty thick glasses. You’ll usually see her in the nursery’s patented apron, with a panda and cupcake patch. She stayed at the nursery to take care of two toddlers whose parents….never came to pick them up.

Th kids are two toddlers whose families live in the same apartment complex- Ame and Yuki. (Wolf Children reference) Both landing at two, nearly three years, Ame is an Energetic boy who loves playing with toy cars and climbing onto PanPan. Yuki, meanwhile, loves the toy kitchen set. She often asks PanPan to play bakery with her, “cooking” and singing like Nade-Chan

The first time he sees the three, it’s love at first sight. It’s nighttime and a ray of moonlight filters though the cracks of the boarded windows. The toddlers are asleep in cribs with Nadeshiko leaning over, hands holding their own. She tiredly keeps watch and softy sings lullabies. Not wanting to disturb the precious sight, PanPan lumbers off to make sure the rest of the nursery is safe.

Nadeshiko is understandably freaked out when she sees PanPan. Actually, she scooped up the kids and tried to book it out of there. Unfortunately, PanPan’s efforts to secure the place included some pretty solid locks. He tries to convince her he only wants to protect the kids and herself. She’s…hesitant but hopeful. Nadeshiko couldn’t bring herself to check outside the past several days so she hasn’t witnessed any carnage. The giant, rolling pin wielding, animatronic intends to keep it that way-going on supply runs and keeping everyone out within at least a three block radius.

Besides, he’s so good with the kids. He’ll even cook with Ame tucked in a sling on his back while she bathes Yuki. She’s even seen him Pat the kids’ backs during their nap time. His tendency to take her glasses so that he can look at her “chocolate brown eyes” does fluster her though.

I imagine Chariclo as energetic, enthusiastic, outgoing, openhearted, and open-minded. She's basically a free spirit, always wanting to try new things. Chiron finds her personality overwhelming at times, but this is part of the reason why he loves her in the first place;

She met Chiron long before the other centaurs appeared and Chiron was the only one of his kind. She got immediately curious and was one of the very few people who wasn't afraid not repulsed by his appearance and actually wanted to know him better;

Chiron initially avoided relationships back when he was young due to what happened to his mother. He was also afraid by the idea that he would father a child that could be the same type of hybrid he was, and that his mother would feel ashamed by that in the same way Philyra was after she gave to him. Chariclo basically helped him overcome his fears;

Chiron is a redhead, and Chariclo's favourite color is red (this is based on the fact that Ocyrrhoe is described as having auburn hair);

He barely talks, she talks enough for the both of them;

Chariclo uses to either sit or lean on his back almost all the time (and he got used to that);

Chariclo likes to make different wreaths (laurel, olive, flowers etc.). Once she finishes one he would wear it for the rest of the day;

Chariclo loves fried rabbit. That's why he hunts them the most often ever since they two got married;

She is quite short, so Chiron is usually lying down when he talks to her;

Don't know if it counts as a "date", but they like to travel through the forests together in their free time (she rides him);

Chariclo has a bad habit of getting drunk at parties. Chiron would usually try to stop her, and he would get drunk in the process too;

They two used to be very wild and naughty back when they were young, but throughout the years they became one of those calm and peaceful couples whom you could never suspect of anything racy;

Going by that version where Apollo is Chariclo's father, I like to imagine that she can play the lyre just like him. Chiron would sometimes ask her to play it in the hope that the kids would fell asleep, and he would end up falling asleep first lol;

They two sleep outside during summer (unless it's raining) and look at the night sky ever since Melanippe/Ocyrrhoe became a constellation;

They used to share the same bedroom (she was sleeping in the bed and he on the floor) back when they were younger, but as Chiron got older and started to snore during nighttime he slowly began to sleep in the stable;

Chariclo visits his stable in order to cover him with a blanket before going to bed;

Chiron loves children and usually acts both as a father-figure and teacher to them, and Chariclo finds that endearing;

Mao: If we fail to do either of those things… I’ll be forced to dedicate myself to Hibiki-senpai for the rest of the summer.

Makoto: …? Why to Hibiki-senpai?

Mao: Oh, because he was the one who challenged me to a sell-off. There’s gonna be lots of booths at the event, but I’m sure he’s the one we’ll have to contend with the most.

Makoto: No way… Isara-kun, why didn’t you tell us about this?

Mao: Because I didn’t want to worry you guys needlessly.

Mao: We wanted to participate in the Sunflower Live to make some great summer memories together. I couldn’t bear to be the one to spoil that for all of you.

Makoto: Worry us needlessly? And you didn’t think that having to spend the rest of the summer without you would actually spoil our summer even more?

Mao: That’s not it. I’m confident you guys are gonna help us become number one. That’s why I didn’t feel the need to tell you.

He stalked his way through the dense area of the woods behind his home, wondering how an electro-energetic could’ve possibly evaded a vampire for this long. Sure, Vincent was never the best at tracking, but still, a human, even a human as amazing as the one he’d had the pleasure of stumbling upon that fateful day at Wonderworld months ago, shouldn’t have been able to evade him like this. They were an incredibly powerful electro-energetic who was only just getting used to their newly manifested magic. Vincent hadn’t been surprised in the slightest to see Lovely excel in their coursework at the Dahlia Academy of Magical Novices. While they had chosen to delve deeply into the machinations of their electricity, Vincent knew that they had purposefully opted to take one elective that did not fall under their specialty so they could get a feel for how far they could push their latent abilities.  Vincent wracked his brain, trying to remember what that course was. Could Lovely have learned to cloak themselves? Performing invisibility and intangibility on oneself was a difficult feat, especially for someone who was not predisposed to illusive magic.  Vincent took another look at his phone, noting the time. If the night had gone according to plan, he and Lovely would've just arrived at the boardwalk by now. Vincent had planned a nighttime stroll through the wetlands. The area was usually bustling with tourists during the day, but at night, the area was serene and sublime. He had been looking forward to showing Lovely how the moonlight shimmered across the still water like an inverted sunrise. Vincent used to pace up and down the pathway endlessly at night, especially when he was first learning to adapt to his new vampiric core and its lessened need for sleep. It was a place he used to associate with anxiety, but once Lovely had entered his life, Vincent was slowly beginning to notice all the beauty around him.  Starting with them.

Hawks And Dabi W/ S/O W/ 2 Personalities

Keigo Takami X Reader, Dabi X Reader

Request: Hi! Can I request Dabi and Hawks with an s/o who basically has two different sides. They have two different minds in one and two different quirks. There is a nighttime side and a daytime side. When they were a child and obtained their quirk, nobody liked the nighttime side so their parents taught the s/o to not trust their nighttime side and made them sleep with the lights on so that the nighttime side wouldn’t get out. Most of the time, they like staying in their daytime side, which can be activated as long as it’s daytime/there’s at least a least more than half light on them. The daytime is very sweet and kind, very Energetic and extroverted, and her quirk is enhancing another characters quirk by 20% and healing. However, whenever it’s turning nighttime/it’s dawn, then they immediately panic and leave the area immediately. The nighttime side is barely out and doesn’t understand the difference between right and wrong, the only thing the two share in their emotions, so when they they do get together with the s/o, that’s the only time, with much hesitation, they do eventually show their nighttime side. The nighttime side version is very blank, serious, and stoic. She’s not very good with speaking because she doesn’t know how to speak, as she was never allowed out, and only knows how to speak some words which are “Go away”. The nighttime version’s quirk is basically controlling people to do whatever they want as long as she’s out, and being alone in her consciousness has made her master her quirk. However, she does feel something towards their lover and she grows attached. Anyways, some headcanons (maybe even a mini one shot if you feel like it) with Dabi and Hawks would make my day!!

Keigo Takami/Hawks

🪶 Keigo met you during the day obviously, so you were sweet and extroverted, your quirk increased the durability of his feathers and healed any damage done to them as long as you were in range. 🪶 You both fed off of each other and it wasn’t long before fans started to ship you or make bets on when you were going to announce your relationship. 🪶 The first time that you rush off at sunset he didn’t think anything of it, instead thinking that you had something else to do, you were pretty popular, he couldn’t have all of your attention even if he wanted it. 🪶 When it became more frequent he started to worry about you, there was some part of him that was suspicious, so one day he does follow you, worried that you were in trouble.

Keigo knew that he shouldn’t be following you but he was worried that you were in trouble, you seemed to be looking around like a scared animal, you were completely different to the person that he had met before. “What are you doing sunshine?” He asked himself as you walked into the abandoned warehouse. Keigo followed after you, keeping to the shadows as he watched you close the chains around your own wrists. “Won’t hurt anyone.” he could hear you mumbling to yourself “they told me I danger.” Keigo frowned as you sat on the floor legs crossed, the moon through the window was the only thing giving him any idea of what you were doing, he slowly shuffled closer, it seemed that you were more aware of your surroundings, your eyes finding him in the shadows immediately. “Why here?” “I was worried about you.” He answered as he approached you slowly. “Why are you chained up?” “I do bad things, if chained, can’t hurt anyone.” You answered. “Who told you that?” Keigo asked. “Mum and Dad.” You answered. “Well how about I stay with you tonight?” Keigo asked. “I’ll sit right here and make sure no one comes in here and you can tell me about yourself.” That night was the first time that you had come back to your body feeling rested and when you looked over at Keigo leant against the wall, you decided that maybe the fans were right and you would be good together.

🪶 It took a couple of months for you both to figure out how the dating worked and the boundaries of both personalities. 🪶 Keigo was just happy that you were happy, he didn’t mind that you were different, in fact he loved both sides of you. Being with you overnight gave him time to unwind and relax away from everyone else. 🪶 He started to teach the second personality about the world and how to talk, read and write, all of the things that you knew how to do during the day but he assumed this side of you was never taught. 🪶 Keigo quickly realise how much your other personality admired and needed him on the night that someone decided to break into the wrong apartment.

The crash was what woke Keigo, he reached over to the side of the bed that often occupied whether the lights were on or off, that woke him up kicking his legs over the side of the bed and walking out of the bedroom, he caught the tail end of an interaction “Leave.” He heard your voice say and before he could figure out who it was they had turned back to the front door and left. “(Y/N) are you okay?” Keigo asked as he walked towards you. “Keep you safe.” You answered in the short sentences that he had become accustomed to overnight. “Do people always do what you say?” He asked. “Only at night.” You answered “not let him hurt you.” “I won’t let anyone hurt you either.” He promised as he pressed a kiss to your forehead and for the first time, you leaned up and pressed a kiss to his cheek. It caused an unstoppable smile to stretch across his face as he pulled you back to the bedroom. “We have a long day tomorrow, time to get some rest.” “Mm.” You hummed allowing him to lead you back to the bedroom.

Dabi

🔥 The sunny side of your personality actually pushed him away when he first met you but given your personality you brute force it, he’ll tolerate you being around especially considering you were pretty valuable with your quirk. 🔥 As you get to know him, you adapt to make him feel a little more comfortable around you, your personality lended to helping him fall into the background where he liked to be. 🔥 He noticed that you would sneak off when the sun started to go down, you’d head up to your room and no one would see you until the next morning, you were always the first person up. 🔥 Dabi is nosey and he likes to have information to use against anyone, even if it is someone that he considers an ally at that moment. Which was what prompted him to follow you one night.

It was almost like you were someone else, you didn’t speak in full sentences, you were huddling in the corner and you wouldn’t lift your eyes from the carpeted floor. “Go away.” “Why would you look at me?” He asked. “Not allowed.” You mumbled picking at the carpet only rocking forward to allow your fingers to touch the carpet under you as you caught sight of his shoes. “You're allowed to look.” Dabi said as he walked towards you, he crouched in front of you, his hand coming to your chin, your hand moved faster than he had ever seen before as your ringers closest around his wrist, grip tight, he didn’t move away, he was still a good deal stronger than you and instead lifted your chin so that you were looking at him. “Who told you that you couldn’t look?” “Mum said scary, I stare.” You answered. “They lock you away?” He asked, you grunted in response. “Why? What can you do?” “People do what I say.” You answered. “Really?” He asked. “Pretty and useful.”

🔥 When you were comfortable with it, he’d have you with him when the switch over happened and before long the whole league knew about it, he’d even tell you to use your quirk sometimes to make sure that the others left you both alone. 🔥 He’d actually become more fond of your quiet personality, he loved both side of you don’t get me wrong, but the side of you that he found that night was everything that he was and he’d help pull you out of the mind set that you had been bullied into. 🔥 You both become known for torture and information gathering and just being scary in general, the heroes didn’t understand how your quirks and personalities worked and that made you dangerous. 🔥 Dabi always has you in sight, to make sure that nothing happens to you, he always worried that there would be other triggers for your personality changes and looked out for them if there were any.

“You have more control over the mind control quirk then the healing one.” Dabi mumbled one day when you were sitting in the bar, you had curled up next to him as he leaned down so that his mouth was close to your ear. “I spent a lot of time alone at night, had time to practice.” You answered. “Alone?” He asked. “They had a room that they kept me in to make sure that I never hurt anyone.” You explained. “Mmm, well once we’re done hunting down the heroes, we can make your family pay for the way that they treated you.” He muttered as he stretched his arm over the back of the sofa behind you. “We don’t have to.” You said sitting up to look at him and he smirked as he took your chin between his fingers like he had the first time that he had met this personality. “We don’t have to but do you want to?” He asked. You looked at him and you could see it in your eyes searching for your true intentions in case your words hid them, but the truth was you had been with him and comfortable for such a long time that when you spoke you told him the truth.

Okay, so while I may be shadowbanned on tumblr currently, I need to get this out there just for the record, because I have not seen a single other person in the Poppy Playtime community talking about this, and if it turns out any of my musings are right, I want to be able to point to this post and say I called it.

So. We know that the new character Dogday from the Smiling Critters line of toys will feature prominently in Chapter 3. In the accompanying cartoon show, he is described as the bright and energetic leader of the Critters, with a sun motif to contrast main antagonist Catnap’s moon motif.

However, the name "Dogday" is also a reference to “dog days,” which you might have heard in Florence + The Machine’s Dog Days Are Over. From this website right here:

“[The term “dog days” are a reference to] the Dog Star, Sirius. When it was closest to the Earth, all the animals would get languid and sleepy and when it moved away, they’d wake up. Sirius is the brightest star in Earth’s night sky. The term refers to the time when Sirius would appear in the sky just before the Sun which was believed to mark the beginning of the hottest days of the year somewhere in July. In other cases, this period was also associated with bad luck since the heat brought about thunderstorms and droughts.”

This potentially gives a ton of insight into where the devs might be taking Dogday’s character in chapter 3, and there are basically two different outcomes I can come up with right off the top of my head.

1) Dogday’s name is a clue as to his real nature. He is not an ally to the player, and even if he might not be working directly with Catnap, he will be hostile to the player. Catnap could have also possibly broken him due to the imprisonment and torture, and he might be doing Catnap’s bidding through direct or indirect control. Either way, he lives up to the original meaning of his name.

2) Dogday is a staunch ally to the player throughout the whole game, because his name is meant to be deeply ironic while also being a pun of a dog character being associated with the sun and daytime. It’s a similar way to how the name “Catnap” is both a pun and deeply ironic. A “catnap” is a brief, light sleep, like a power-nap. Catnap the character, however, puts people into long, deep sleeps. The character is also a cat associated with the moon and nighttime. So, with this logic, the meanings of their names fit the characters on the surface, but the deeper meanings are subverted.

Of the two theories, personally, I believe 2 is much more likely. Dogday has already been set up through context clues to be a foil for Catnap both thematically and narratively, and while yes, Mob Games could subvert that for shock value or because they have a different direction for the story to take in mind, I personally think it would be much more interesting if we had Dogday on our side during the entire chapter. For example, him “chasing” us through the Playcare in that brief clip in the trailer could easily be explained away by him simply following us around, like we’re escorting him somewhere. He doesn’t have to necessarily be chasing us down to murder us.

So yeah, them’s be my thoughts. Only time will tell if I’m right or not.

FNAF OC drop: Comet Blast

"Hello, little Stars!"

Comet Blast, or simply Comet, is a proud member of the Daycare team at the Pizzaplex. She works alongside Sundrop and Moondrop (and Eclipse) making sure kids are staying safe, eating their pizza, and having lots of fun at the daycare!

Comet is created to be the fun and energetic but assertive partner of Sun, Moon, and Eclipse (Respectfully called the "Star shine pals"). During playtime, Comet's outfit is design to allow her to spin around and easily dance along with Sun. During nighttime, her hair (which is made out of a soft material) glows in the dark like a nightlight, so kids can peacefully sleep at night.

She is very eager to meet new little constellations at the Pizzaplex, and make new friends

Aaaand my OC and Daycare Attendant's partner is fully design! She is such a silly girl and her relationship with her partner is all dovey lovey and pretty adorkable.

I might fully put her into a small line up as she's the smallest compared to Sun, Moon, and Eclipse lol (that would go into my newest blog tho))

Her relationship with Eclipse and Moon is much different than with Sun, but I don't have the fully details yet but:

Before SB, She and Moon worked as a team during nap time. They would sing lullabies, and she would help him with story time

on SB, Moon usually shoos her away due to her nightlight hair effect

When she saw Eclipse, she was confused, as it was probably the first time in a long time she saw them. She still embraced them tho
