( ' glass children. ' )
violet wrists and then her ankles, silent pain. then he slowly saw their nightmares were his dreams. monster, how should I feel? creatures lie here, looking through the windows i will hear their voices. i'm a glass child, i am hannah's regrets.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
— summary: with the star plasma vessel dead, satoru and suguru need you (fem!reader) to lead them to their next path. — genre: angst. heartbreak. — playing: monster by meg & dia — note(s): i'm a sucker for what ifs. i love what ifs. good and bad. i thought about this what if a lot. i wanted to write about this since halloween and didn't have time to post it. i just know suguru and satoru are better than me cause everyone would have gotten this smoke. that's all imma say. anyways, mentions of blood & death. probably some spelling errors here and there. — word count: 866
Those beautiful cerulean blue hues still sparkled as the light down on them.
But the spark of life was gone. They were dull. Lifeless. Emotionless. You never saw them like this before.
You could feel the anxiety swallowing you whole. If someone looked closely, they can see your legs trembling slightly. The two boys in front of you were having a brief conversation but you couldn’t hear it. You couldn’t hear anything over the loud sounds of your heart rate picking up at a rapid pace. You couldn’t even hear the round of applause the strangers that crowded around the white hair teenager who held the lifeless body like he did the first time meeting her.
They were clapping for Satoru. Fucking clapping.
You just stared at the crowd in disbelief. What kind of people would approve of this? What kind of people are happy over this? The death of a young girl.
A young girl you considered your friend.
Monsters...monsters... “Suguru...should we kill these guys? The way I am right now I doubt I’d feel anything.” His voice was hoarse. But what made your heart ache was hearing no emotion in his tone. It matched his stare. Dull. Lifeless. Emotionless. Your eyes went over to Suguru. His back was faced to Satoru but you saw his almond shaped eyes were as wide as they can be but soon he pulled himself back together. He always does. He has too. “No. There’s no point. It’ll be dissolved soon enough.” His voice mimic the tone Satoru set. He began to walk towards the door to get out of there. He was sick of the clapping and the smell of the dried blood that lingeried. He was sick of this. He was sick of this life. He was sick of death. He was sick of curses. “No point, huh? Does there really need to be any point to it?” Satoru asked or stated. You couldn’t really tell. You went to follow behind Suguru like a lost puppy but Satoru called out your name.
“Name...”
"Y-yes...Satoru?" your gentle voice trembled.
"What do you think we should do?" Satoru asked you. His eyes didn’t look at you. They just looked straight ahead into nothing. Suguru's eyes went over to you almost forgetting you were even there. Your eyes was puffy and red from crying. You were the emotional one out of the three. That's why Satoru would tease you about being weak. You were a crybaby. But Suguru didn't see an issue with it, he likes you like this. So did Satoru but he wouldn't openly admit it. You reminded him about those certain emotions he swore he couldn’t feel anymore. "Name...what should we do?" Suguru also asked willing to do anything you said. The self proclaimed brains of this trio couldn’t think straight or logically. So it was up to you.
The boys looked over at you for an answer. An answer you didn't have. This wasn't fair. These higher ups using you children. Not caring if you killed one another or died in front of each other. You loved your best friends. Especially Satoru and Suguru, willing to do anything to protect them. Even Riko. They were the only family you have. But would the higher ups mourn you? Would the higher ups sink into a dark hole of depression? Would the higher ups get revenge on you? Or would they replace you like a piece of livestock. They would probably replace you in a matter of days.
They probably would assign Satoru and Suguru a mission while your ashes are still warm.
Satoru and Suguru.
The thought of leaving them behind made you feel sick at the pit of your stomach. How would Satoru handle it? You knew Suguru would break in a matter of days. He bottles so much inside of him it would just burst out. Would they keep it together if you were to die? Or would they lose it themselves.
You know you would lose it if either of them or both of them were to die. Leaving you all alone. To defend yourself. To love yourself. You couldn’t imagine a world without them. The three of you were glued to each other, couldn’t really function without the other.
You could feel the anger replacing the fear and anxiety. On the inside your morals and humanity was being teared apart, stripped away from you the more you stared at Riko's lifeless body in Satoru's arms covered by a thin white cloth. "Name..." Suguru called out to you once more. There wasn’t much time to make a decision. "Kill them," you finally answered losing all emotions you had that day, "kill them all." That's all Satoru needed to hear. His lips formed a wicked grin as Suguru silently summoned the rainbow dragon. You stood watched the blood being splattered on the walls and floors. The screams made you smile like that day on the beach with your best friends.
That’s where your mind was. The day on the beach with Riko and Satoru laughing at the sea cucumber while you, Suguru, and Misato were on the beach towels just watching them with smile of your faces.

Breaking the media
Tumblr media
Chapter 3- arrival
You had just arrived in spain when the news that you were leaving arsenal was spread the club hadn't said where you were moving to due to some timing issues and you hadn't done any Barcelona media yet. You looked through the comments as the fans speculated your next club and many wishing you well and hoping you would have stayed longer at the club. While all the messages were nice you knew it was the right call to move so as you stood in airport looking for what will be your ride to the training centre you see a sign with your name on it. After some great force of lugging your two suitcases along the airport by yourself you reached the drivers with a half smile "good morning miss y/l/n" he said reaching his hand out "morning nice to meet you" you said taking his hand a firmly shaking it. Just as you were about to grab your suitcases and begin dragging them back along to the car he took them out of your hands "let me take these from you" he said "oh its no bother really i can bring them myself" you protested but he was insistent.
The car journey wasn't as long as you had expected it to be as you sat scrolling through your phone almost laughing at the ridiculous rumors you could see through your phone even sky sports had started to make rumors. You had arrived at the training ground where a member off staff had met you and brought you to the hair and makeup chair "hola, buen dia miss y/l/n" said the women smiling at you "call me y/n please its more.. normal" you responded as she began her work adding a light coat of foundation and redoing your hair entirely. After 10 minutes you were ready and handed a Barcelona training kit and told this is what you would be taking your photos in I mean it made sense but you would have preferred to be in normal clothes.
You were whisked through the unfamiliar corridors passing room after room each one looking completely different from the other till you reached the media room which was set up with cameras lighting and the contract. Jona was waiting in a chair when you arrived and he immediately stood up "hola y/n so happy you decided to join us you are going to do wonderful things" he said kindly to you. As the next couple hours went by you spent most time taking photos and doing interviews when you were told it was tomorrow when you would meet the team and have a tour of the facility before joining training.
Once you were done you were brought to an apartment that had been furnished and paid from Barcelona as you clearly weren't old enough to pay for it yourself. It was nice, small yes, but it wasn't cramped. You had put away all your clothes when you saw that it had been officially posted you were now a culer and all the media from that day had been posted and as you expected it.You had done it 'y/n y/l/n has transferred to Barcelona for an undisclosed fee' was printed all over social media for a moment it felt like everyone in the world was talking about you.
You woke up the next morning and the apartment was conveniently a 10 minute walk to the training ground because you couldn't drive so walking was the next best thing. The spanish sun was hot on your skin you hadn't been out of england for a long time minus for England camps which weren't very frequent or very long. You had arrived at the training ground 5 minutes early but that didn't matter. You were again greeted by jona the two of you making small talk as you walked towards the pitch, now the anxiety had kicked in you were 16 and going to meet your idols all at once, what if you nade a fool of yourself in front of the team or they dont like you and just to top of the list you knew not one word of Spanish minus hola. The training ground was nice it was decked out with perfectly cut grass and box nets you looked over to see the team training away not even noticing your presence as they were so focused in a drill that until jona called them over they were in there own world. "CHICAS, YOUR NEW TEAMMATE HAS ARRIVED" he shouted across the pitch when each of the girls looked over to you and began to walk towards you, each meter they passed you could feel your heartbeat move quicker. Now you were young but you weren't challenged size wise at 16 you were 5,8 making you quite the impressive feat and one that was taller than quite a few girls on the team. From a mile away anyone could tell you were a defender tall, broad shoulders, hair tied neatly in two plaits, it was obvious.
It was the captain alexia who had been selected to talk to you first " hola, ive heard good things about you y/n" she said kindly almost in a parental tone, a tone which some sould have found to be insulting yet it brought you a sense of comfort. Each of the girls took there time chatting to you, some getting more confused by your accent and led you to having to say things much slower so the others can understand what you were saying. When last it came to kiera and lucy the fellow English on the team "well well if isn't y/n" lucy said almost grimacing "what lucy, you're not happy to see me" you said back "of course" she said wrapping her arm around you as keira did the same you had known the English girls had been told you were coming by leah but you didnt know that they had been told to keep your eyes on you but so was mapi and alexia however from jona. It was lucy who had taken you on the tour around the place "nice innit, and the weathers lush as" she said "yeah definitely, its a change from arsenal but god is it like a different world from sunderland" you said although you had lived in North london for 3 years your north east accent hadn't changed at all you were still a northern girl at heart and one that surprisingly faired well under the sun.
"Well then i bet we better head off back home" lucy said taking you back to the exit "yeah definitely especially before it gets too dark" you said as you began to walk off to your apartment "where are you going? Aren't your foster parents picking you up" she questioned as from what she has assumed you were living with a family "ermm home im walking back to my apartment its only 10 minutes" you said as you began to speed up a little away from lucy. "An apartment you're 16 you can't live alone" lucy remarked but by then you were gone you, she threw her hands in the air and sighed as she knew she needed to have a talk with barca management because you couldn't live alone but you had ran home to make sure lucy couldn't see where you went as you didn't want to make a scene or deal with lucy scolding you.
As you opened your front door you locked it back up and crashed into bed the jet lag from the plane had crashed into you but you knew you needed to shower and make dinner but you had no food what so ever, how you wished someone could make you some home cooked food. So like a sensible person you ordered in food and showered while waiting and just as you had changed into your pjs the food had arrived. It was just a simple pizza but god was it tasty. You ate every last crumb and put the box on your counter to put it in the recycling you climbed into your bed and let tiredness slip over you.

Dia with an MC who runs warmer than most humans and sweats a lot because of it? i like to imagine that Devildom is cooler bc no sunlight even if it is hell and so MC is in total bliss in Devildom. Dia who was worried that MC would be too cold but instead they’re so happy bc they’re not sweating buckets finally.
It makes sense to me that it'd be colder in the Devildom. Like the sun is what makes things hot here, you know? What do they have in the Devildom making things warm? The passion of demons!?!? LOL.
Anyway, I'm sure Diavolo would be thrilled upon learning that MC is actually more comfortable temperature wise in the Devildom than they are in the human world. I'm not sure about his level of understanding when it comes to like... how humans function. But he might be concerned if MC is really struggling with it. Like is this an issue for most humans?? Is there something he can do to help??!?
Although if MC was just like nah man it's enough just being here, I'm sure he'd just be like well okay, MC. If you insist!

Tumblr media
you had been having a shitty day, to say the least.
first, your alarm hadn't gone off, causing you to only have 15 minutes to get ready. buttoning your shirt up, you searched the room looking for your bag, seeing it unpacked in the corner. just great. after shoving your notebooks into the bag and zipping it up halfway, you slipped on your uniform skirt and hastily laced your shoes before taking a final cursory glance at the mirror.
there was a tear in the blue fabric of your skirt. small enough that it wasn't really an issue, but big enough that it was noticeable. deciding to fix it when you got home, you rushed down the stairs and passed by the kitchen, grabbing your lunch bag as you hustled through your house.
"chao, mami! te veo mas tarde!" (bye, mom! i'll see you later) you called over your shoulder. your mother rolled her eyes at your hurriedness and waved you off with a smile.
then, as you made your way to the bus stop, some idiot bumped into you, causing you to nearly topple over.
"watch where you're going, cabron!" (bastard) you shouted.
you sighed and got on the crowded bus. you spotted your friend sitting way in the back, but the only empty seat was right in the front, behind the driver. frowning, you shrugged at her and slid into the seat. pulling your headphones on, you scrolled through your playlist till you found a song you liked, and rested your forehead on the window, watching the city go by.
the bus all of a sudden stopped, lurching forward. the doors hissed open and the driver called out the school stop. you and about ten other people got up and started pushing towards the door. finally getting out of the stifling bus, you shoved your way through the crowd and entered the school.
a few hours later, at lunch, you spotted your friends all sitting at a table together. there weren't any free seats. your heart felt heavy as you sat down at an empty table across the lunch room. unfortunately, your friends were directly in your line of sight. even over the loud din of the lunchroom, you could hear them laughing and gossiping as they ate their lunches. sighing, you opened your lunch bag to see . . . nothing. there was absolutely nothing in your lunch. at first, you thought your mom had just forgotten to pack you something, but you distinctly remembered the bag being heavy with food when you left the house. then, you remembered the person that bumping into you on your way to the bus.
you dropped your head into your hands and squeezed your eyes shut. que dia tan mal, (what a bad day) you thought. your stomach grumbled, complaining about the lack of delicious food it was promised.
the rest of the day passed in a blur. a horrible, messed up blur. you had failed a your algebra test, you had nearly failed your science project, you had sat alone at lunch, and you had gone basically the whole day being ignored by everyone. it was like you were invisible.
once you get home, your mom asks, "que tal tu dia?" (how was your day?) you just shrug in response and stomp up the stairs to your room. shutting the door, you slid down till you hit the floor and you bring your knees into your chest. resting your head between them, you felt hot tears pricking at your eyes. squeezing your eyes, you feel a few of them escape and drop down onto the floor.
all of a sudden, a knock interrupts the sobs racking through your body. you raise your head and turn it towards the door, but the knock comes again, from the window.
wiping your tears away, you go and open the blinds, seeing pavitr standing on the tiny ledge outside. he was holding a colorful bouquet of flowers in his hand and was gripping onto the window sill with the other. he smiles, but then seeing your tearstained face, it turns into a pout.
you unlatch the window and raise it up, watching him climb into your room. he gently places the flowers on your desk and immediately envelopes you in his arms. the tears come back, flowing freely now.
"oh, my angel," he whispers. he presses a kiss to your head and holds you tighter. "what's wrong?"
through sobs, you explain the horrid day you'd had. pav nods and frowns. leading you over to your bed, he wraps his arms around you again. "i'm sorry, my love."
shrugging, you pull away for a moment to wipe a few tears off your face. pav lowers your hands and then places his own on your face, wiping under your eyes. his own eyes are looking in yours, filled with love and concern.
"i brought flowers," he whispers. with a small, teary laugh, you smile at your boyfriend.
"i saw. thank you, mi amor." he freezes, as he usually does when you call him anything in spanish.
"of— of course," he stammers. sighing, he pulls you into a kiss. with that kiss, he makes you forget all the shitty things that had happened to you today. he's wrapping you up in love and reminding you that he's there, he cares.
"te amo."
"mein tumse pyar kartha hu." (i love you)

The Sunflower Jewel (A Michael X MC fanfic) part 1
(After Devildom falls under a mysterious non-stop snow storm, MC is borrowed by the celestial realm in exchange for a stone that can temporarily save Devildom.)
(MC goes by gender neutral pronouns.)
Mc arrived followed by their usual seven demons who all took their respective seats along the large table. Diavolo and Barbatos were already in their seats. It wasn’t long before Diavolo, with a stern and grim expression, spoke up. “You all know why you are here.”
“Who can I blame for this!” Asmodeus demanded, his hair had clearly fallen victim to the storm’s winds.
“Ya! Who ruined my money makin'! I was going to be rich!” Mammon protested.
“All the restaurants are closed…” Beelzebub groaned.
Before the rest could lay out their complaints they were stopped by Lucifer’s deadly glare. Silence fell onto the meeting room. Lucifer coughed, before meeting his attention back to Diavolo. Taking the small cue from Lucifer, the prince began to speak. “I’m sure all of you are aware of just how serious of an issue this is and just how important it is to find both the solution and source of this issue,” He went on “We have found no leads on where this storm might have come from and if we leave this storm as it is then-.” He was interrupted by a knock at the doors.
Barbatos answered the door and out came a group of familiar faces. There was Raphael, Simeon, Luke, and Solomon. Solomon with his typical smile spoke “Pardon, we can as soon as we heard.”. After being welcomed in by Dia they all took the rest of the empty seats, leaving only one chair left. Lucifer, taking note of this spoke up “Are we expecting company?”.
Diavolo looked over to Lucifer and did a subtle nod. “With this kind of matter, I asked for assistance from the celestial realm.” He answered before adding “He should be here shortly.”. Lucifer raised a brow “Who-?” but his question was already answered when there was a bright golden light outside the door followed by the meeting door being opened and out came a both familiar and unfamiliar face.
Mc gave the newcomer a curious look. It was so odd to see someone who shared so many characteristics of Lucifer but not at the same time. If it weren’t for the man’s white longer hair, blue eyes, tan skin, and outfit then it would be hard to tell Lucifer and the newcomer apart.
“Welcome, Michael. I’m so glad you come and join us.” Diavolo greeted.
“Archangel Michael!” Luke beamed, giving a smile that could practically warm up this entire cold room.
The rest of the crowd gave either a more positive or a more natural reaction to the reveal.
Michael gave a soft smile to the people around him, giving a small wave of the hand. “Hello again, I hope you’re all in good condition despite the situation.” His tone was professional but gentle at the same time. He walked over and took the empty seat beside Luke and Ralphael.
“Long time no see.” Solomon acknowledged. Michael gave a look of agreement. “We simply must meet up again sometime.” He responded but before any more familiar greetings could occur Diavolo cut to the chase. “Arch Michael, has the celestial realm agreed to assist the Devildom?”. The two gazes meet, and Michael is taken aback by the bluntness. “I do not blame you for being on edge, lord Diavolo. I know I would be too,” The Angel started “The celestial realm has agreed to help the Devildom in exchange for agreeing to our conditions.” After Michael finished his sentence there was a wave of annoyance from the demons in the room.
“Of course there are conditions,” Mammon muttered.
“Classic celestial realm,” Leviathan commented.
“What conditions?” Lucifer spoke up. The two shared eye contact before Michael reached into his bag and pulled out something that was clearly wrapped with care. With a careful hand, the angel began to unwrap it to show a beautiful jewel. “If you place this sun jewel in this castle’s tower it should create magic powerful enough to fight off the storm that has taken over the Devildom. We offer this as a temporary solution as I’m sure the answer to this storm will be found eventually.” He explained.
“That is…” Lucifer muttered under his breath.
Michael nodded. “The jewel from all those years ago, you could imagine how long it took to find it again.” The angel had a nostalgic look in his eyes as he looked down at the jewel. “As you can imagine, this artifact is incredibly precious to both the Celestial Realm and to me, which is why I cannot just let the Devildom just borrow the sunflower jewel.” He explained. “In exchange for this artifact, the celestial realm with borrow something or someone of equal value to Devildom.”.
Diavolo spoke up “We have plenty of artifacts to give.”
“I’m afraid it’s not that simple.” Michael frowned.
“Of course.” Lucifer scoffed.
The archangel coughed into his fist, getting Raphael's attention. “Raphael, could you please show them how we will ensure that we are getting something of equal value?” He asked to which Raphael stood up from his seat. Pulling out an oddly shaped stone, he began to whisper an incantation. The stone floated in Raphael’s hand, spinning round and round before suddenly bolting in MC’s direction.
MC flinched in response to the incoming rock, mammon being quick to shield them from the incoming blow. But just as the stone was about to hit, it stopped in place in mid-air. Mammon peaks over his shoulder to see the stone floating in mid-air. “Hey, what gives?!” He exclaimed in an irritated tone of voice. He still kept his arms wrapped around MC, not taking the chance.
“The judgment stone has found something of equal value,” Michael explained.
Mammon perked up. “Heh! I know I’m awesome and all but there’s no way I’m going to the celestial realm.” He said, looking ever so egotistical. He finally let go of MC, moving away from them but the stone didn’t move.
“It doesn’t want you, Mammon.” After Raphael said that, one by one it began to click to the crowd what this meant. MC would be the one that would be borrowed by the celestial realm.
“There's no way they’re going!” Mammon exclaimed, turning to look at his dear human. “Right, MC? Ya ain’t gonna agree to this are ya? Who knows how long they’ll keep ya!” MC furrowed their brow at their first man’s words, clearing thinking.
Diavolo, with his arms crossed, looked over to Michael. “Just how long will you be borrowing MC?” The prince asked the archangel. “For as long as you keep the sunflower jewel we will keep MC. Once the jewel is returned so will the exchange student.” With Michael’s words, Diavolo seemed to ponder the idea in his head. “Will MC be cared for?” He questioned. The angel nodded. “Of course, MC will be our guest after all. They’ll be treated like royalty, I presume you’ll treat our jewel with the same respect as well?”.
“I will do it.”
Everyone’s heads turned to MC. “I agree to the deal,” MC reassured with their typical look of determination in their eyes. Some of the demon brothers were about to protest but were quickly silenced by the celestial prince “Does this mean we have a deal?” He said, his blue eyes peering straight through the demon prince. Diavolo narrowed his eyes, before finally breaking his temporary silence “It’s a deal.”.

a/n: just a little drabble i wrote bc i can’t sleep enjoy!
warnings: nightbringer spoilers
i want to go home
Tumblr media
You walked into the kitchen looking tired and disheveled. Solomon frowned but greeted you with a smile anyway.
“How were the brothers today?” He asked as you sighed making your way towards him.
“I can’t with this place anymore.” You said hugging him.
Solomon looked slightly confused but hugged back and tried his best to comfort you. “MC did something happen?”
You cried at that statement and gripped his coat “Solomon please” you strained.
“Woah MC calm down” he said trying to get you to look at him. “What’s wrong?”
“Please take me home! I can’t do this anymore.”
“Mc…I can’t, you know I would have if I could.” He said sympathetically.
“Solomon please, I can’t to this anymore. I miss them, I miss all of them so much.”
“I miss Lucifer, Mams, Levi, Satan and Asmo. I miss the twins. I miss my family.” You cried as Solomon watched you surprised.
“I want to live in the House of Lamentation again. I miss my room and I miss my home, I miss my things. I miss being an exchange student, instead I’m just some attendant. I miss the special connection I had with them.”
“I miss Dia and Barbs. I miss going over to the Demon Lord’s castle for tea and not to talk about sending me back to the human realm.”
“I miss staying with you and the angels in Purgatory Hall almost every weekend. And I miss seeing Thirteen and Mephisto.”
“I want my life back Solomon. Everything was finally going well, I finally fixed everything!”
“The three realms were at peace, everything was stable. No one was fighting or worrying about a stupid war starting. Everything was okay. The brothers were stable, the Devildom was stable. Diavolo was stable. We were all stable.”
“I was stable.”
“I finally fixed their family issues Solomon. All that effort and dedication I put into helping each of them out of their problems was time consuming. But I did all of it. I finally finished helping them, but now I have to do it all over again and what makes this worse is that they’re fresh out of the Celestial Realm. How the hell am I supposed to give advice to newly fallen angels on how to be a demon when I’m not even one myself?”
“Why do I have to fix everything? Why can’t I just be with them? All I want is to be happy with them, and that was almost the case but now who knows when the hell I’ll get back to the present?”
“What if I don’t succeed in making pacts with any of them? What if they deny me? I miss my pact marks. My skin feels so bare without them. Did you know most of them faded already? Do you know how worried they all must be?”
“Solomon I need to go home. I want to be with the demons who actually consider me part of their family. Because if I hear “this doesn’t concern you” or “you won’t understand” one more time I might just lose it”
“I can’t live like this anymore, I might actually go insane. I think I’m already-“
“MC enough. You’re spiraling” Solomon said grabbing your shoulders. “You need to calm down because you’re on the verge of a panic attack.”
“MC I know it’s tough, and I understand where you’re coming from, but you have to understand, I’m doing everything I can to get you home. Don’t worry I promise I will get you back to them.”
As he continued to speak soothingly to you, you grabbed his coat and cried into his chest. You honestly didn’t care how or what the sorcerer did, you just wanted to go home to your family.

You know what do you think of hanza cancelling her own comic that is the guy upstairs? Like for me,I really really hope she's okay. And I know blacklightjack(he make a video about this) and the line he says about artists need to grow a thicker skin is just. I'm sorry like, look I get what he's saying but hanza have to cancel the comic because of toxic shippers. Sure, you can just ignore them and pretend they don't exist but they will still still still annoy you and h*rass you to the point you can't take it anymore and have to cancel the comic because of the whole goddamn toxic fanbase.
(as a Malaysian myself,I need to say this,I really hope hanza is alright. And in my language saya harap dia dapat bantuan Dan menjaga kesihatan sendiri)
So...
sigh I feel like this isn't the answer or essay you expected but I hope you're open to at least hearing it out all the same.
I do not think Hanza handled the situation in a way that benefitted her as a creator or her audience of people who genuinely love her work.
I DO think she was justified to be pissed off with the people harassing her. Those people suck ass and they're the definition of "this is why we can't have nice things."
But like... the notion of "you need to grow thicker skin" is true in being a creator who puts their work out into the world for an audience. Hear me out, this does NOT mean "creators aren't allowed to have feelings". But it does mean that you have to find peace with the fact that there are gonna be weirdos and assholes who take shit too far within your community. You don't necessarily deserve that. But you can't give those people power over you by going scorched earth in the way that Hanza did, because who does it really benefit? Hanza is now out a job and she's soiled her own reputation with her audience by basically going "FINE, because of these few people who were shit, NO ONE gets to have a good time!" And that's just... not a productive or healthy way to deal with these issues because it's just doing what those trolls and shitheads likely wanted. They wanted a reaction out of her, and she delivered it to them on a silver platter.
Like, I think of the dumbasses complaining about Hanza "taking advantage of the dark romance community" (she didn't, she just made a horror thriller comic that they felt entitled to see romance in) and guess what? Now those dumbasses have power over here because she ended the comic and in their heads, I'm sure they're thinking "good riddance". By choosing to not only end her comic, but spoil it entirely for her fans who were there in good faith, Hanza gave power to the people who weren't even a part of her target audience to begin with.
I do think it's ironic if people assume I'd automatically boo the "grow thicker skin" mantra because like, y'all... many of my complaints here are literally about people like Rachel who behave badly with their audience and desperately needed to grow thicker skin. In a lot of ways she's not even reacting to direct harassers, she's reacting to people simply discussing her comic in their own spaces which aren't mean for her. If she spoiled the ending of LO for her fans and ended the comic prematurely, I would feel awful, but... it still would have been her decision at the end of the day that she'd have to stand by and take responsibility for.
I think, at best, if I were to give her any unsolicited advice, she should have just put the comic on hiatus, taken a break, focused on her mental health and given herself enough distance to ask herself if she wanted to continue TGU. Maybe it still would have ended the same way, but at least she would have given herself the time and space to heal and rationalize her choices.
Instead, by choosing the nuclear option of spoiling the series for her readers and axing the comic - just to backpedal and go back to "no no it's just an indefinite hiatus!" - she gave up her power to the people who were harassing her. She reacted in a way that gave them power over her, not herself over them.
And I say this as someone who's currently on an indefinite hiatus with their main project, which I still have not spoiled for the 5 readers I have, despite the fact that I have zero clue when I'll return or if I'll even be able to. Whether or not Cyra and co. break out of the Reaper Society is now a 2 year old question.
I say this all as someone who has been harassed and is still harassed for doing what I wanna do. My first ever webcomic website when I was like 17 used to get emails and comments from shitty classmates and other local yokels who knew of me and wanted to pick fights over a teenager's dumb lil' gag comics. I kept making those comics anyways for myself and for the people who did like reading them, until I was ready to drop the comic on my own terms and move onto my next project, which would be Reaper. Reaper also got a lot of nonsense complaints and harassment. As did my fanfiction projects, as did my digital art, as did everything that I've ever put out into the world through the Internet, because the Internet just sucks for everyone always and then you die 🤣
And now, 10+ years later, I get the occasional "you're a shitty talentless person who isn't gonna amount to anything and yaddayaddayadda" which, to be fair, is a reaction from the folks who are unhappy with my intentions to make a Lore Olympus rewrite comic!
But I'm not going to give them power over me by stopping. I have a story I want to tell and if I stopped telling that story due to the shitty things they had to say and do, then I would be punishing myself and punishing my audience for the actions of a few bad apples. I do not deserve to have those abusive actions targeted at me (though they surely do and that's on them) and I do not have to put up with it, but I genuinely would not be able to live with myself if I gave them power over me by reacting in such an explosive way that my bloody remains land on everyone around me, including the people who were supportive and loved my work along the way.
That said, I also don't know to what extent Hanza was harassed. I've seen people claim she was doxxed, but have yet to see any evidence of that. I have seen people claim she got death threats, but Hanza hasn't shown anything to back that up. I'm going to assume the best of her that the harassment must have gotten pretty fucking bad for her to want to quit, and again, that is justified, and I cannot in any way use my experiences as a way to diminish hers. Maybe she just flat out isn't interested in making TGU anymore which... I can definitely say I relate to that, too.
There's this sort of mindfulness technique in stress and emotional management where you have to recognize that other people's actions are NOT your responsibility, but your REACTION is, because your reaction is what you can control and have power over.
Rachel Smythe finished LO in spite of what wackjobs like me said (and still say) about her and she has power in that perseverance, power that wackjobs like me cannot and *should* not try to take away from her.
mongie decided Webtoons was not suited for her work and vision and decided to put the comic on hiatus until she could get her distribution rights back and continue Let's Play on another platform. She has power in that decision and integrity, power that Webtoons cannot take away from her.
Whether or not you like my work, whatever opinion you have of it that you're entitled to, I have power in knowing that I started a project that I now love dearly and can take pride in, and has brought closure to people like me who were left disappointed by LO. I have power in that stubbornness and refusal to let other people determine what I'm capable of.
Even if you remove the external influence of the audience from the picture, we all have power as creators that we need to harness and take ownership in.
By going nuclear and spoiling her comic for her audience and ending it entirely, Hanza may have gotten the short term satisfaction of turning the school bus around to go back home, but she still disrespected herself and robbed herself of her own power as a creator which will ultimately stick with her far more than it will the harassers who will inevitably move on to some other target and forget she even existed. And that's a decision that she has to live with.
The harassers got under Hanza's skin and gave her more than enough reason to feel frustrated. But they did not choose to spoil and end the comic. She did. And she is ultimately the only one who will have to live with the consequences of that.
I do hope she's okay and that she's getting the time and space she needs to heal from this. If this truly is the outcome that she feels gives her the most power and the ends justified the means for her, I hope she found strength in it, regardless of the opinions of people like myself that ultimately should not matter to her. I hope the people harassing her get what's coming for them whether it be actually getting called out or just the universe delivering karmic retribution on them. I hope Hanza can find joy and peace again either in TGU or whatever project she pursues next. But most importantly, I hope she finds the confidence and power she needs to stick to her guns and create what she wants to create, unapologetically.
"Growing thicker skin" doesn't mean we as creators have to be comfortable with abuse - it just means we need to do ourselves the honor and favor of making decisions that give ourselves power rather than giving it away to the abusers who do not have to live our lives at the end of it all.
And that is my very big bag of cents on that.

Tumblr media
player: Rúben Dias words: 2.8k type: angst
Tumblr media
Let's fast forward to three hundred awkward blind dates later
If she's got blue eyes, I will surmise that you'll probably date her
You dream of my mouth before it called you a lying traitor
You search in every model's bed for something greater
Everything you were learning about Rúben is completely against your will and though you’re trying to not let it get under your skin and bury deep into your muscles, you still feel any and all nuggets of information grating against your nerves. So it doesn’t surprise you when your best friend opens her mouth and says “he’s been spotted with another model.” but it does feel like salt is being rubbed onto those nerves too.
“Of course he has,” it comes out a little more bitterly than you’d intended and so you swallow some wine instead to stop yourself from saying anything else that you might regret.
“I’m sure I don’t need to tell you what she looks like.” she continues, observing you over the rim of her own glass before she takes a small drink herself.
It’s started to become a running joke for the two of you. You weren’t good enough for Rúben but he was happy to date every woman that remotely resembles you after you. It was a kick in the teeth each time you were faced with another photo of him and his latest beau and a mere mention of someone new feels like a slap.
“Kurt wants to know if you’ll come to dinner on Wednesday.” She changes the subject, knowing that this is a sore spot but it was better that she told you now than being sent it by someone else who believes they’re doing you a favour while not being considerate of your feelings at all.
“No.” You say a little too quickly.
Kurt was one of Rúben’s best friends and if he was hosting a dinner party, then your ex would be there too. You felt suffocated at the best of times merely seeing his name via google or instagram, let alone being made to share the same four walls and a table with the man.
Ex feels too strongly of a word considering you’d barely got past the dating stage. Rúben refused to put a label on the two of you and while you weren’t usually one for wanting them, you did try to ask him where you stood in the situationship. Especially because you were catching feelings, fast and hard and the idea of him not wanting to commit to you pained you more than it scared you. Ultimately, Rúben ended the … situation due to ‘commitment issues’, but had no issues with finding the ability to do so with other people.
“He was invited initially but according to their match fixtures, they have an away Champions League game.” She comments, drumming her fingers on the side of the glass in a beat that you almost recognise.
“I applaud your extensive research before coming to me with Kurt’s invitation.”
“I knew you’d back out almost immediately otherwise -”
“And I did.”
She hums in agreement.
“At least consider it? I’d love to see you there anyway.”
_
You’ve checked and checked and checked again more times than you wanted to admit that Rúben absolutely was out of the country ready for the game tomorrow. With no updates regarding rotations or suspensions from previous games, you’d found it “safe” to leave the comfort of your home and make your way to Kurt’s.
Having Rúben end the relationship had meant that he’d won the monopoly of the friends that you’d made being in his circle, and one of them that you had joint custody over was Kurt. Caring, funny and incredibly supportive, Kurt was everything in a person that you wish you’d found in a friend years previously. Nights at his were never boring and he was the one person you truly felt you could be around and trust not to bring up him in conversation.
By the time he’d opened the front door, you could smell a light warming scent drifting from one of the hallway candles which was quickly swallowed up as you approached the kitchen. If you were peckish upon arrival, then as dinner was being plated up half an hour later, you were famished. Your bestie was still due to arrive thanks to being stuck in traffic both on the way home from work and also after leaving the house. Other mutual friends who you were familiar enough with to interact with but not enough to really talk to are here too.
Bottles of wine and water are on the table along with small baskets of bread and butter which are snatched up by those sitting around you. Several people are still due to arrive, so the amount of empty spaces isn’t bothering you too much, though you do reserve the one next to you for her.
You’re cutting open a bread roll after smushing the butter into a spreadable consistency when your phone beeps and a i’m 5 mins away x text comes through and not for the first time this evening, you sigh a sigh of relief.
-
You’re in the middle of the main course and half a glass of wine down as your bestie is telling you the latest drama from her office when voices in the hallway gets your attention and the voice that once made your stomach flip is now the reason for it dropping. Your head snaps to the head of the table at the opposite end to you and your eyes meet Kurt’s as the voice continues to speak with someone else.
What is he doing here? You mouth a little too aggressively as panic begins to swirl in your stomach. Her fingers touch your arm to try and silently calm you but the more you think about it, the more you feed the dread.
He isn’t supposed to be, is mouthed aggressively back. At least he’s met your energy.
“It’s good to see you again,” comes his voice as he finally steps into the room. “Sorry I’m late.” He says as he finally addresses the room.
The empty space opposite and one seat over now feels as though it’s mocking you. Though it’s not dressed for someone to sit in, you feel as though you should have known this was coming.
“I’ll get you a plate.” Kurt is on his feet faster than you’d have liked him to be but you understand he cannot treat Rúben with disrespect purely because of you nor would you want him to. He gives your shoulder a squeeze as he passes and it’s only in that moment where you feel just how tense your muscles are.
You can hear your breathing coming out in shaky exhales but rather than looking around the table to see what other dinner guests are thinking. You don’t want to look up at the man who you’d held out your heart to. Sure, you’ve seen Rúben around, but not in such an intimate capacity like this. You’ve never had to sit opposite him and felt as though you’ve had to exchange pleasantries. You could, of course, ask to switch seats but you don’t want to give him the satisfaction of knowing he was getting to you.
When you lift your cutlery to begin to eat again, you note that your hands are shaking. You’d rather take a drink but now he’s here, you want as much of a clear mind as you can possibly have. He clouds your judgement far more than any alcohol ever could and he’s stayed in your system longer than any drugs ever would.
Plate to mouth. Mouth to plate. Plate to mouth. You continue until you can’t think anymore. You ignore the sound of a chair being moved and pushed back under, a plateful of food being put down and cutlery clinking together. Talk still flows around the table but it sounds as though you’re listening from under water. Even now with impaired sound, it’s clear it’s become very strained since he came in.
Questions are aimed in his direction and though you try to close off your hearing, you can still hear his replies. If he’s as worried as you are about this meeting, he’s not showing it.
“Do you want this?” You ask your friend, gesturing to the glass.
“Don’t you want it? What’s wrong with it?”
“No, I don’t want it. I want something else.”
“I’m going for one,” James, who sits on the other side of you, says quietly. “I can get one for you too?”
“That’d be great.” You give a small nod and try to give a smile, though you realise in this moment it appears pained.
James was a good man, and someone who you could depend on for a light but long chat. He played the small talk game and he played it well. It wasn’t ever anything much but he gave you good reprieve when you needed it.
It’s not until he’s left the table and in turn, the room, that you remember there’s spare glasses and pitches of water with ice. Not wanting to seem rude, you leave him to get your drink, and busy yourself in pouring a cold glass of water. He returns as you’re taking tentative sips.
“Mmm,” you hum to him to acknowledge that you’ve seen him as he takes his place back at your side while you finish your sips and place the water back on the table and turn to get the drink that Jamie offers you and give a little sniff.
“You remembered.” Small movements swirl the liquid around, ensuring that it’s fully mixed but before you can place it on the table next to the water, you hear
“Might have remembered her drink but you’ve given an extra ice cube.” Your hand freezes as you listen.
“Sorry?” Jamie says. He’s not sorry, it’s more of a chance for Rúben to retract his sentence.
“She prefers two ice cubes not three. You’ve watered down her drink.”
The statement seems to hang in the air between the three of you and when you finally look up, Rúben is looking right at you.
“Thanks Jamie,” your smile is still pained but you give it anyway before taking a quick drink, followed by a deeper one seconds later. “I need some air.” you say quietly to no-one and everyone all at the same time.
Kurt doesn’t fight to keep you at the table and instead, you notice the apologetic expression on his face as you all but flee the room and don’t stop until you’re pulling open the door that leads to the garden and step out. You gulp in the air as you close your eyes and try to clear your head.
Everything had been so good up until then. You’d managed to keep your head down and was fully prepared to not only be civil with him but so sickly sweet he’d need an emergency trip to the dentist.
“Fuck him,” you hiss, letting out some of your frustration under your breath. “Fuck. Him.” You repeat and follow it with a long groan.
“I deserve that.” He says it so quickly, you barely have time to register that he’s said it at all, never mind the fact that he’s snuck up on you. Your heart pounds against your chest with such force, you can’t believe that he’s unable to hear it himself.
“You have some nerve coming out here to me.”
“With you.” he corrects.
You almost scoff at him as you turn to look at him properly for the first time since he arrived. “To me.” you stand your ground. “You decided a long time ago that you’d never step out with me.”
“That’s not fair.”
“What was that back there, Rúben? Seriously. “You watered down her drink.” you impersonate him. “You have no right to correct people on my details when you had no intention of sticking around.”
“So I can’t help?”
“I didn’t need your help. It was a drink. One that he’s made many times before and I’ve never felt the need to correct him before.”
“I just thought if he was making you one, he should make it how you like it.”
“You saw it as an unnecessary dick measuring competition.” You stare him down until he finally looks away. He doesn’t deny it and you knew he wouldn’t. Knew he couldn’t.
“I didn’t think you’d be here.” Rúben tries a different tactic.
“That’s the only reason I’m here because I didn’t think you would be.”
“The highs and lows of football.” He clicks his tongue and points to his thigh. “Felt something in my hamstring. Coach didn’t want to risk it.”
“Shouldn’t you be explaining this to your girlfriend and not me?” You hate that it slips out before you can stop it but you register the look on his face anyway.
“She’s not my girlfriend.”
“Maybe not yet anyway,” you mutter it under your breath and try to push past him but he blocks your way.
“What does that mean?”
“You weren’t ready for a relationship with me but you’re dating the closest possible thing you could find to what you really wanted but were too scared to go for.” And there it is. Months and months of conversations you’ve had with yourself as you’ve lay in bed and gone over everything that happened between you when you’ve had one too many drinks. All the rational, and irrational thinking had led to this moment. Finally putting out your theories to the one person who would either debunk or confirm them.
You watch as he swallows hard and looks away, focusing his attention on almost anything but you. “You still can’t admit that you wanted me more than you let on, can you?”
“What difference would it make to hear it after all this time?” There’s almost a sadness in Rúben’s voice as he realises that it’s now or never to finally get to the bottom of it all.
“Because I know I’m right about us.”
“So it’s about winning then for you,” he doesn’t word it as a question, it feels more of an accusation.
“No. It’s about needing to hear for the first time that what we had was real after months and years of you pretending that it wasn’t.”
“I never pretended.” He tries to justify his actions. “I never said that it didn’t feel real. That it was real.”
“I deserve to know that the only reason why we couldn’t have it all was because you were scared.”
His chest rises and falls as he breathes deeply, the muscle in his cheek twitches as he tries to think about what he needs to say.
“I need to know why they were good enough but I wasn’t. Why date women who look like they could be me if you didn’t want me?” Your voice cracks and you hate that your eyes well up, hot tears now pearling at your lash line, threatening to spill over. You could kick yourself for allowing your emotions to get the better of you.
“You were always good enough. Always. You knew that I wasn’t capable of giving you what you needed at the start. But I wanted to. I could see the life we could have had and I got inside my own head that I couldn’t live up to the version of me that you wanted. That you needed and that you deserved.”
“I’d have taken any version of you Rúben.”
“I know. And I didn’t want you to have one that wasn’t worth it at the time.”
“You hurt me.”
Three words that he’d known all this time, that he’d told himself enough times that he thought if he ever heard it from her, he’d be desensitised to it. But right here and now, he’s not. Hearing it slices into him in a way he couldn’t have predicted.
“I know.”
“I wish that I could get over you.” you say as the tear spills in a hot streak down your cheek and drips from your chin. Another follows and another until you’re forced to wipe them away.
“And I’m selfish enough to not want you to.”
“You’re doing a great job in trying to get me to move on though. Tell me. Where is she? At home waiting for you? Or did she have prior arrangements so she couldn’t come with you tonight?”
“She’s probably at home. Her home.” He clarifies. “Turns out the reality of me is different to the fantasy. You’ll know about that better than anyone.”
“The reality was my fantasy. The only time you ever let me down was when you left me.”
“And if I wanted a chance to make it up to you? Would you let me?”
“I don’t know if I can trust myself to let you back in.”
“I deserve that,” he gives as much of a strained smile that you’d given earlier this evening.
“This has emotionally drained me. I can’t do this tonight. I can’t. ”
“Turning up wasn’t my greatest plan, I’ll admit.”
“No. It wasn’t. But Rúben? I’d give you baby steps to try. Just not tonight.”

it'sssssssss tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime
Barbie Doll and Diablo
(as my friend likes to call them lol)
it took me a good few days of day dreming about barbs and scrolling through the barbatos tags (and the simeon and solomon tags) to acctually get the motivation for this soooooo here it issss
Part 1 - The Brothers Part 2 - The Angels + Solomon Part 3 - Diavolo + Barbatos
WEE WOO WEE WOO Content Warningggggsss: Darbatos and Diavolo are implied to be dating mc but it CAN be taken as platonic, GN!mc, maybe like a teensy tiny bit suggestive idk i do these before i write the hcs, could be ooc (i've never written for either of them, i dont think so atleast), mention of mamms and asmo but only tiny after thought type stuff i think
the energy is pumpinggggggg and the headcannon drabble things are a flowin'
Barbatos
w/ out mc - does not sleep, will only sleep if diavolo orders him to and if any of you have seen my take on the brothers sleeping he is the same as luci, but instead of the brothers having to be kept in line its the demon prince who does his best to sneak out when he thinks the butlers guard has been lowered enough to do so, other than that i do belive barbatos if tired enough will fall asleep standing continuing to do what ever job he was doing around the castle occsionally finishing all of his tasks whilst alseep (dia and the little d's take bets to see how far through his list barbatos can go before waking up again so far little d no. 2 and diavolo have the most wins) i also think barbatos will sleep walk into diavolos office on ocassion and just stand there like he would if diavolo was having a meeting with lucifer or mephi (i dont know how to spell his name someone help please) also no fan or ac or anything in his room im fairly sure his tail has / would have some form of protective slime kind stuff on it and that drying out would require a few weeks worth (and a couple thousands invested) of lotion applied every few like hours (it'd be like lipbalm or gloss on crusty dry craked up lips)
w/ mc - now with mc and diavolo trying to get him to sleep more often its a much bigger challenge for barbatos to deny going to sleep therefore he goes to sleep more often, with mc around the little d's and diavolo can't make as many bets on barbs work sleep habits so the bets have changed to how long will it take for mc to notice that barbs fell asleep again / how many chores can barbs get through before mc guides him back to his room and takes over barbs creepy standing in dia's office has stopped and been replced with a slight restlessness in his sleep (beware mc for he may kick), and mc better beware of the tail it's 100% getting wrapped around them as they sleep it will be cold it will be slimy it will be slightly gross and it will soak any and all sleep clothes (can't tell me barbs doesn't find enjoyment in feeling how mc jumps as they wake up suddenly due to how cold and wet his tail is 'whats wrong little lamb? did i accidently wake you during your slumber') still no fan or anything by the way not unless you want to be the one applying lotion to his tail every hour (bonus sleepy cuddly barbs like early sunday morning look like shiz and gotta get up but partner is still sleep and gooooodddd they look cute sleeping and don't wanna disturb the peace and then the overgrown toddler with daddy issues barges in asking for breakfast because he was a second late to waking him up saying theres pancakes if he does all his paperwork in which barbs does not remember saying at all (it was all a dream that dia thought was real) and waking mc up, gosh dang it now i gots ideas for another fic from these things)
Diavolo
w/ out mc - another sea creature guess what it isssss, thats right! its a starfishhhhhh, mans has a massive bed cant tell me he doesn't starfish accross it wings out and everything, thinking of wings.... wings can be blankie, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand like beel he. is. a. heater. no need for blankets when have wings and are heater, he snores and sleep talks majority of his sleep talking is telling dream barbs that dream him wasn't trying to escape his duties or saying those really creepy things that alot of people who sleep talk say in their sleep something like idk 'doont go in the closet' and it'd be like right as mammons trying to find secret treasure in the castle and somehow ended up in dias room and is about to open the closet
w/ mc - still sprawled out but don't worry mc he left space for you (in his arms) still a heater be prepared to wear your summer sleep clothes in the middle of winter (or sleep au natural like asmo probably does) he still snores and sleep talks pretty much the same as before also refuses to get up in the morning (mans went to bed late let him sleep in and get his sleepy morning cuddles before barbs comes in and says theres pancakes if he does all his paperwork before 9am the drem stirkes again 'but barbatos i got all my paperwork done before nine and pancakes sound good and the dream felt way too real for it to be just a dream, come on love you had to of heard barbatos say something about breakfast being pancakes today surely' dont break his heart help him gaslight barabtos instead/hj)
That ws fuunnnnnnnnnnn
btw quick little tiny baby question would people perhaps be interested in perhaps me writing a little bit more for barbs and/or simeon maybeeeeeee (the inspiration hit and oh mah lordy loorrrrrd it is difficlt to not want to write more about themm) (btw dont really care how many of you answer yes or no im probably gonna do it anyways)
alsoooo i will gladly accept requests for more headcannon drabbley things for other stiuations if anyone has any ideas, (i don't really do full on fics btw)
other than that i hope you all have a great day, afternoon, night, morning, tea, door, pencil and thank you for reading (i hope it was as fun to read as it was to write) MasterList thingy-o

In all the ways i Know
rating: T
pairing: Ramesses X Eva
words count: 2832
Fluff
tws: mentions of abuse
When He found the woman by the river, her knees up to her chest and her head tucked into them; he thought for sure she was going to do something foolish, but instead she was simply slacking off. Wordlessly he sat beside her, unable to think of something to say so he simply let his shoulder brush against hers, letting the smell of her perfume encase him as he tried to find what she was looking at.
After a beat, though, she rested her head against his shoulder. In return he pressed a kiss to the top of her head. She accepted his wordless comfort with a small smile. She knew he wasn’t really good at these sorts of things, but she was glad at the attempt all the same.
Eva knew a lot of things about rame, like for all his teasing and bravo he meant well and tried his best, she knew he tried hard at most things and took it too hard when he failed, even if failure was just slightly less successful than he wished. She knew he didn’t like crowds and only ate dates if he was very hungry and that he loved pomegranates and could be bribed into doing all sorts of things for one.
When they were younger and they got in trouble they would just sit with each other in silence, sometimes in the beginning he would sneak her some food, and gradually she would do the same. Sometimes they would joke and tease each other, other times he would try and help her with the issue she was having but most times they would just sit in silence let that be enough.
He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her closer. “You’re thinking so loudly.” he said after awhile of watching her abuse her lip. But she didn’t budge, stuck firmly in her gloomy mood.
“Did something happen?” he tried and when he got no reaction he tried again “Did Remmao do something?” “Do you really mean it?” she asked so he would stop his questions. He hesitated for a moment “mean what?” “that we’ll run away together.” she asked “yes.” he said without a second's hesitation. “Where would we go?” she asked
“Where do you want to go?” he asked in return. “I don’t know.” she admitted. “We could be merchants, we could travel the world that way,” he suggested. She looked at him skeptically for a moment before coming out and admitting her thoughts. “You’re not good at being charming.” she said “I’m very charming!” he denied.
“You are the only person to think so.” “That can’t be true, I've charmed you.” he proudly proclaimed. She opened her mouth before closing it again, unable to come up with a rebuttal, she couldn’t quite place when her feelings for him had shifted, only knowing that whatever they were, they had to have been there for a while and that they weren’t feeling you have for friends.
When she tried to think of when she started to see him as something more she couldn’t pin down a specific moment, sure there was one when she realized he was handsome as a man, but that was different than when she thought he was handsome when they were younger, somehow the once feather light observation became a heavy realization with time.
When did he become whatever it was that he was? This unfortunately wasn’t something she could ask him about and if she asked Livius he would laugh her out of Egypt, and she doubted that Agnia would know of having these feelings for men.
Only once had Dia asked if Eva liked their classmate and she had laughed it off instead of listening, blocking her ears when the other woman said she thought that he had a thing for her too. Because there was no ‘too’ until there was.
But when was that?
And for his part, Rame simply watched as the woman sunk deeper into her own thoughts, suddenly she turned to look at him before she blurted. “What would you be if you could be anything else?” He paused for a moment, looking at her before he answered. “A rich man.”
“Oh yeah? but how?” she asked. He only shrugged such details not truly mattering to him as long as he was wealthy, he could be a tax collector for all he cared just so long as he was rich. She inspects him for a moment before nodding to herself.
A rich man didn’t have to worry about his troubles, nor fear his fears. A rich man wouldn’t wonder how to give Eva a better life, he would just give her one, while the best he could do now was let her down.
“What about you, what would you be?” He asked to distract himself from his thoughts, She glanced at him before shrugging.  “I don't know… I'm not good at anything.” she admitted then after only a second she added “I could always be a rich man’s wife.” she joked to cover the intimacy of the truth. A grin stretched across his lips. “If you’re lucky.” he said “someone once said that I was more lucky than I was clever.” she said
“Must be a wise and handsome person that said that.” he said with a sage nod. She hummed in agreement. “As wise as he is, he’s still not better than me.” she said with a grin. “That’s not true!” he denied with a grin. She pulled away from him, rising to her feet only to stumble and hold onto him for support. “See, you always fall on me, how can you say you’re better than me?” he said “Because you’re still always behind me.” she replied easily.
“you keep making stupid mistakes, if i am too far ahead you’ll only drag me into ur trouble.” he reasoned casually. “I always think of something you don’t need to limit yourself.” She said with a grin. “somehow you always seem to think of something.” He agreed with a shake of his head.
“Will you come to my room later?” she asked suddenly, pulling him into the shade with her. He paused, a flush dusting his cheeks before he arched his brow. “Just come.” she said, as they fell back onto the grass, staring up at the clouds, her head on his stomach as they chatted.
“I could be a painter.” “You can’t.” he said “And why not?” she asked “because you’re a horrible painter.” he reminded her. She clicked her tongue at him before moving on, not truly offended by his bluntness. “You could be a politician.” she said, making the man scoff in reply, his fingers absently playing with her hair. “Why stop there? I could be the pharaoh's personal priest.” he said.
“Sure, then you’d be a rich man.” she said as she brought their joined hands up to look at them. “and you?” he asked, hoping she didn’t notice his racing heart, but in normal fashion, she misunderstood him. “I’ll be the wealthiest merchant, tales of me will outlive me for years to come.” She joked.
Sometimes she was so dense that he wondered if she did it on purpose.
“You never hear what i’m saying.” he grumbled “you never say what you mean.” she replied “always so cunning, i bet even your thoughts hide behind something.” She said
“I always tell you what I'm thinking, don’t i?” he asked, “I can never tell if that's a blessing or something else.” “a blessing, of course.” he assured. “Of course.” she agreed with a smile.
The more they spoke the more the sadness of before seemed to be forgotten, until they were laughing and joking.
“you’ve got nice hands.” she said and in response he stretched out his fingers that were still intertwined with hers. “Do I?” he asked in a tone that seemed half teasing, half pleased, as if he couldn’t make up his mind to go forward with the conversation or if he should tease her and end the topic.
She hummed in response, before her eyes left their hands and flicked up to meet his eyes.
He tried very hard to not do what he wished to but she looked at him with big eyes and a wide smile and before he knew it she had rolled over, one hand between his arm and ribcage and the other caging him on the other side as she looked down at him only for a moment before she kissed him.
Sometimes, you could see what Eva was thinking before she did whatever it was she was going to do. You could watch the thought come to her but other times it was as if she was the sea; changing unpredictably and without reason. This was one of those moments where he was sure it was just impulse.
Her fingers lightly touched his side, afraid to cause his wounds any more distress and not knowing if he hid any more. He was less delicate, not hesitating to strain himself to meet her halfway, or to pull her closer until she was on him.
The warmth of the sun didn’t seem so bad anymore. only it was a vague, forgotten sensation instead of all he could think about. He had long since agonized over his feelings, and before knew her touch he thought that it would be torture but he realized that the absence of it was, the longing for it, the hope that bubbled up whenever her hand moved too close to his accidentally. it all settled into the realization that could only have been found in her kiss, that looking for meaning where there was none was torture. Her kiss was only the sin.
For all the thoughts he had, none of them seemed to reach him at this moment. no, only vague thoughts of ‘what if we get caught?’ ‘Finally’  and ‘it’s nice’ floated by the two, their busy minds still just for a moment.
They swore for that moment nothing could bother them, nothing. They wanted to remember this moment as it was for the dark days that would surely come, they wanted this to be the rainbow.
“you could win every argument with a kiss.” he admitted against her lips. She grinned for a moment and in an instant he realized his mistake, too late.
At the end of the day he came to her door and as soon as he came in he found her in an anxious state, wringing her hands together and pacing as if something truly horrible had happened. “What?” he asked, coming to grab hold of her. “Will you really run?” she asked again.
and in an instant he knew she was really asking if he would follow through on protecting her even if it was from his brother.
He wanted to say yes, the answer was naturally yes of course… but if in that situation he knew it was more likely that he would do as he has, maybe he would take the beating but he couldn’t stand up against his brother. But he nodded, something outside of his fear spurring him movements before he could force his voice to work.
“Yes,” he said firmly. “you’ll have no one if you did.” she said as if she wanted him to know that it was a mistake. “I’d have you.” he assured with a wavering smile.
Rame wasn’t ever really good at finding the right words, but sometimes the right words were just the truth, one so simple and obvious to you that you forget to say it outloud.
“I’ll protect you.” he said at this she seemed to inspect every individual bruise on his face, not saying a word but not needing to, when she thought something so loudly she didn’t need to open her mouth.
“That’s different,” he assured. She raised her brows at him with an amused smile on her lips as she took inventory of each mark. “why?” she asked “Because you’re different.” he said easily.
she paused her movements briefly, a small smile stretching onto her lips before she tested him once again. “You don’t want to be my family, Rame, it always kills them.” “That’s not because they were your family.” he assured. She paused for a moment, then she let out a sigh.
Taking his hand and placing a single earring in his palm. He stared down at it for a moment before looking at her again. “It’s like a promise.” she said as if this explained everything. “How?” he asked, his brows raised high. “maybe others can’t know but if we wear these we’ll know what it means and that's enough, right?” she asked
He glanced down at the earring again and suddenly it felt heavy. “what does it mean?” He asked, “That we’re together.” she said as if he was slow. “Right.” he agreed with a knowing grin, before he kissed her forehead. “I'll look after you too, rame.” she said in a tone that seemed so final.
He smiled at her wrapping her arms around him before he realized “you can’t hurt him.” “why not?” she cried out. “He’s doing it for my own good, I should-“ he was interrupted when she pulled him to sit with her, guiding him to rest his head on her lap, her hand coming to fiddle with his braid.
“You’re the smartest person I know, but sometimes you’re so dumb.” she said. “I’m the smartest person you know?” he asked “who else?” she asked “Livius…” he trailed off not mentioning the name he thought of next.
She shook her head “you’re smarter, you have to be.” she said, and at this he nodded gravely, his hand reaching to touch the gash on his eyebrow absently. Eva made a discontented noise, something that encased “I'll kill him when I get the chance.” without even one word.
She looked up at his face, paying close attention to his swollen and bruised cheek. “It doesn't hurt that much.” he announced, not looking away from her. again she made the noise. “It looks like it hurts.” she said, her finger lightly grazing the cut on his lip. “I hardly… you’re right, it hurts.” he relented, suddenly seeing the advantage of being wounded.
She suddenly pulled away, shifting her weight from foot to foot before looking at him again and started towards the chest at the end. “I wanted to give you something.” she said “more?” he asked, she nodded, absently moving stuff around until she pulled out a jar.
She looked at him for a moment as if he was a cliff that she didn’t know if she could survive before handing him the jar. “to help with the cuts.” she said. He looked at the small jar in surprise before he opened it, then his shock turned to wonder. He held in his hand something worth more money than he had ever had in his life, he was sure that this jar was something she wouldn’t part with for just anyone, and the thought of that made him smile. in his hands was gold, sticky sweet gold, a jar of honey.
“How did you get this?” he asked as if he’d be killed just for touching it. “I didn’t steal it.” she said, half offended he asked and half understanding too well why he did.
“A wealthy man gave it to me as payment.” she said “you should keep it.” he said, closing the lid again. “I won't take it back, don’t be stubborn Rame.” she said “if you don’t use it then you should still keep it. we could sell it, if things get bad when we run… that was my plan.” said her fingers carding through his hair and it wasn’t until then that he noticed she had managed to unbind it.
“You’re always better with plans than me, if you know we have it I'm sure you’ll know how to make good use out of it.” she added.
For someone like Eva sometimes “I trust you” meant more than anything else you could say, and that is what she told him by giving him the jar.
For a moment he stared at her in awe before he nodded, placing the jar down gently before he took hold of her once again, lifting her from the ground as he held her in his arms.
Affection wasn’t something he was good at showing but for someone like him the attempt meant more. And in this moment he found something greater than his shortcomings had spurred him forward.
For the two of them ‘together’ was a matter of an instrument coming into the right tune, the tide responding to the moon, the sun rising in the east and setting in the west, and the spring rousing flowers from their rest. It was the way it should be. For them ‘together’ was a matter of belonging.

Ruben Dias x Reader - Fake Love Part 4/8
⚠️ Warning ⚠️
18+
Tumblr media
Reader is a kindergarten teacher. Nothing more nothing less. But following an accident whistle vacation in Dubai she somehow makes her boyfriend believe that she does somthing else for a living, something that earns her way more money than she has. Her boyfriend, Ruben, is just happy to have found someone who understands him so well, someone who doesn't want him for his money since money isn't an issue for neither reader or himself. Or so thinks. Would finding out the truth ruin their newfound relationship? Readers thinks so, and does everything to keep up the lie, although it has some bad people from the middle east looking for her.
Enjoy!
"Taxi!"
You called for one outside of the airport in London. You were tired from the journey and longed for a hot shower back at your apartment.
"Taxi!" You shouted, quite desperate for one to pull up.
"Y/N, chill." Alicia said. "Our ride will be here in a minute."
"Our ride?" You frowned.
Alicia nodded, phone still pressed to her ear. "I'm consulting the Siddiq family right now, see if they can send us a...."
Alicia's eyes widened with terror as you lunged for her phone, forcing her to hang up.
"Whatta fuck Y/N!"
"Are you crazy?" You hissed
"Am I crazy, are you crazy Y/N? Give me back my phone for fuck sakes."
You held her phone behind your back, refusing to return it. "Alicia we are not doing this. We can not continue spending somone elses money. It has to end. Right now."
"Why? They owe us don't they?"
"No Alicia, they owe us nothing, especially not you." It was not her leg that grilled in the fire. "The Siddiq family has shown us enough kindness then we deserve, this will not go on any longer, agreed?"
She didn't agree. However, she could tell how serious you were about this. "Fine." She said, stretching out a hand, demanding her phone back.
"Who are you gonna call?"
"Well, it's not Ghostbusters, is it? I'm calling a taxi."
You handed her back the phone, a sly smile on your face.
The days passed quickly there on, like your time in Portugal never happened. The burn on your leg healed but roughly, the skin not as smooth on that part of your leg. The only times it bothered you was when you got out of the shower, standing naked in front of the bathroom mirror. However, no one was gonna see you naked, at least not for some time. Yes, you felt guilty for giving Ruben a fake number, but you held your ground when it came to not live off of some rich business man in Dubai. It was the only reason Ruben was interested in you in the first place, because he thought you were rich like him. But no more lies. Meeting Ruben was a lie and even though falling for him felt real it was built on a lie and no relationship could ever flourish from somthing like that, right?"
"Miss?"
"Miss?"
"Yes, Simon?"
You snapped out of your daydreams, peering over your desk to see one of your kindergarten students with a pen up their nose."
"It's stuck." He said.
You sighed, rising from behind your desk. "Let's go to the nurses office shall we?"
"Okay."
You had one of your colleagues come in and cover for you whilst you escorted Simon to the school nurse. Yes, your life was really back to it's glamorous self.
"Hey, Y/N? Need a lift?"
It was Byron, seen crossing the school parking lot to get to you. You were really not in the mood, still adjusting being back to work. All you wanted to do was go home and lay in your bath.
"Sure Byron, why not."
He was considered a friend, although you know he never really got over your brief hook up in university.
"The kids are glad to have you back."
"Oh, thanks Byron. That's nice of you to say."
He drove you home the long way, avoiding the highway that would only take you ten minutes to arrive.
"Not only the kids." He added. "I missed you too."
Your smile was stiff, but at least it was something.
"When Nina told me what happened to you in Dubai I got so worried that I had to take a day off just to calm myself down, not to worry the kids that their teacher wasn't coming back to work."
"That sweet of you Byron. But it wasn't a serious thrid degree burn, my skin heald pretty quickly." Your boss Nina made it seemed like you lost a limb or something. Mainly because Alicia's dramatic Tik Tok's had people assuming the worst. Even your parents called you in concern after your brothers came across one of Alicia's vlogs from the hospital in Dubai.
"Well, I'm just glad you're back."
"Thanks Byron."
He was a sweet guy, not relationship sweet, but a descent human being sweet. You appreciate how much he cared for you as a friend.
"I have no problems giving you a ride to and from work, I mean we're basically on the same schedule."
"Thanks Byron, but I don't think that will be necessary."
Alot of people had offered to help you out,  even your boss suggested you'd cut back on your hours a work, however, it wasn't necessary. You needed something to take your mind off things. With things you meat, your agonizing thoughts of what could have been between you and Ruben.
Arriving home, you grabbed yourself a light snack from the fridge whilst waiting for your hot tub to fill with water. Once it did you, stripped yourself of your clothes, slipping I to the scolding water, allowing the heat to relax your muscles. You did not stay relaxed for long though, seeing as there was an incoming facetime call from your phone. "What?" You grunted, since now was not the time to hear about the latest gossip at Alicia's workplace.
"Hey, gorgeous,"
You stiffened at the sound of his voice.
"Ruben?"
You were looking into the screen of your phone, in disbelief of who was staring back at you. It was Ruben, with his hair sprouting in every direction as he looked to lay back in a bed, one arm draped behind his neck. "Um...hi." You stuttered, not really sure how any of this was possible.
Ruben smiled "I just wanted to see how you're doing and see if you're missing me as much as I'm missing you."
"Um, how...?"
"Did I get your real number?" He chuckled.
Heat rose to your face.
"Well, after calling "your number" over a hundred times, Fabio let me get in touch with your friend who told me what was going on."
"Alicia gave you this number?"
"Mhm." He nodded, tossing what looked to be a grape, into his mouth. "She told me that you thought that I wasn't that into you, that perhaps I was only out to screw you over or something."
"She did what?"
"It's ridiculous, I agree. How do you even come up with something like that? I mean you're the one who screwed me over by letting me call a fake number like an idiot."
There was a jab in your stomach as his tone was serious, laced with sincere hurt. "Ruben I'm so sorry. I didn't..."
"Let's not play the blame game." He waved. "Your friend made it clear that you haven't been dating for a while and that your game might be a bit stiff."
"Pardon?"
Ruben laughed.
"I am not stiff."
"I believe you." He said, although he had trouble talking between laughs. "I mean you look pretty relaxed in that bathtub back there."
You gasped when you realized. "Oh my god. Ruben I'm...." Embarrassed. You were terrible embaresssed, sinking deeper into the water to cover yourself. You and Ruben hadn't talked for days and the first thing he sees is you slipping him a nipple.
"It's okay, Y/N, really. The view is great from here."
"Oh shut up."
You put the phone away, letting Ruben have a good view of your bathroom ceiling. The tub needed more water, and bubbles, lots of of bubbles.
"There you are." He exclaimed, once you returned to the screen, now neck deep in in the water. "Thought I lost you for a sec."
"Ruben, maybe now is not the time." You said, tormentented by how stupid you must come across to him.
"Y/N." He said, his voice now restrained.
"What?" You muttered, trying to stare at anything but the screen.
"Look at me."
Your eyes looked up, meeting Ruben's kind gaze.
"You're good, okay. Sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable by calling unexpectedly. I just...." He sighed, a hand running through his already messy hair. "I can't seem to get you out of my mind."
You sunk deeper into the water,  biting down on your lip. "Me too. I can't stop thinking about you either."
"Well, when can we meet?" He seemed excited that your feelings were mutual.
"Ruben, I'm not sure I'll be going back to Portugal anytime soon. I mean I have a job to do and..."
"Y/N." He said. No. Chuckled.
"What's so funny?" You frowned
"You really don't watch football do you?"
"What do you mean?"
Ruben sat up in bed, showing off the tracksuit he was wearing. "You said you've heard of Manchester United, no?"
"Yes, the English team that you told me played in the Premier League."
"Right. Well I play for their arche rivals Manchester City, meaning I live in Manchester, England."
"Wait what?"
"Yeah."
"So, you're not from Portugal?"
He chuckled. "I'm from Portugal Y/N, I was born and raise there. But just like you I was just on vacation. I got back to Manchester yesterday."
"So what you're saying is that we're both in England as we speak?"
"Yes. And my team has fixtures in London all the time, meaning I'll be able to come see you between games."
"Right."
The problem was that you had once again lied to Ruben when he asked you were in England you lived. You figured London sounded more suitable abode for a business woman, not Chells Way, Stevenage.
"Y/N, you alright?"
The downside about facetime was that your emotions were all on display. Ruben clearly caught your reaction to his offer and it was not what he had expected.
"Of course, there is no pressure for us to meet." He said, clearing his throat. "I just thought, that it was something that we both wanted."
"I want to meet." You nodded, although your voice betrayed you. "I just...my job, you know?" It was another lie. You were piling lie upon lie on this fake love of yours. Nevertheless, Ruben ate it all up, nodding understandingly. "I get it."
He was so kind. He didn't deserve this from you, from anyone.
"Ruben?" You whispered, following a moment spent in silence.
"Yes."
"I really missed you."
A muscle jerked in the corner of his lips. "I missed you too."
"Tell me." You sighed, leaning back against the tub, splashing water around yourself. "Tell me how much you've missed me."
Ruben froze for a brief moment, seeing you redirect the camera angle in a way that revealed more of your body.
"Alot." He gulped, watching you dip a hand between your legs.
"Yeah? Tell me more."
He couldn't see all of you through the murky water. But as the layers of bubbles disappeared with your slow shifts, the swell of your breast resurfacing.
"Oh, baby don't do this to me." Ruben's head fell back against his pillows as he too adjusted his camera angles. You watched him slip a hand down his sweatpants and stroke whatever he was hiding in there. "I missed you so much, wishing you were here, with me." He moaned, chest heaving up and down with his heavy breathing.
"Ruben, please. Tell me what you want to do to me." You up the pace of the movement between you legs. You we drawing small circles against your clit, the sensation sending chocks of lightning to your body's nerve endings.
"I want to fuck you, hard." He groaned.
"Yeah, and?"
"Fuck you hard and watch your tittes bounce when you ride me."
"Yes, and?" You were squinting your eyes, primitive moans leaving your mouth, echoing throughout your bathroom.
"And..." He grunted on the edge of something. His movements down his pants were faster than yours, unable to contain himself.
"And, Ruben? Please tell me."
"Baby, I can't. I'm close." Ruben's camera shook with the bouncing of his bed. You watch him please himself, please himself to the image of you.
"Me too baby, me too." You arched your back in the tub, one of your legs going over the edge, opening yourself up wider. "Look at me baby, watch me come for you."
He seemed unable to multitask, having to slow down as not to make himself come before you. He watched you please yourself to the point of screaming his name, you're fingers buried deep inside of you.
"Fuck." He groaned, staining his bedsheets with the erruption of his cock.
"That felt good." You smiled, regaining your breath, coming down from the high. "I can't believe I just did that."
"Me neither." Ruben said, no longer in his bed. He looked to be in a small bathroom, washing his hands. "Sametime tomorrow?"
You shook your head, unable to hide your smile. "Goodbye Ruben."
He smiled, a cheeky smile. "Goodbye Y/N."

Hi there i have been reading your blog for an hour now and im obsessed. Your writing is amazing. May i please request gn! Mc who was just in a fight, and got badly injured, but doesn’t care. So they ask the demon/angel there yo cuddle?
Im so so so sorry of this doesn’t make sense im very tired xD
Preferred characters you can ignore this well the entire request too xD (lucifer, satan, belphie, dia, barb, and simeon)
Here is a cat to keep you company his name is mr. Whisp 🐈
Hello there!
Oh thank you, I'm so glad you're enjoying my writing! (Also thank you for Mr. Whisp I love him.)
Okay, so I wrote these as little scenes instead of the usual bulleted list style, I hope that's okay! They did end up a little longer because of that, though. I did it that way because you requested specific characters and it's easier to write little scenes for fewer characters rather than all of them.
Thank you for the request!
Tumblr media
GN!MC gets hurt in a fight, but doesn't care and just wants cuddles with Lucifer, Satan, Belphie, Diavolo, Barbatos, and Simeon
Warnings: MC is hurt! Bruises, blood, general injuries, talk of fighting.

Lucifer
You were standing in front of Lucifer, summoned to his room after he inevitably heard from several of his brothers about the state you were in. You had shown up at the House of Lamentation covered in scrapes and bruises. They all noticed how you were walking with a slight limp and the dark circle that was forming up under one of your eyes.
You had considered blowing him off when you got the message on your D.D.D. that he wanted to see you immediately. You didn't really feel like listening to a lecture about getting into fights. And yet you knew that if you put it off, it'd only be worse later. And secretly you wanted to see him.
Lucifer was observing you with a dark expression, clearly looking over your various injuries.
You kept your arms folded, chin up, and said, "You wanted to see me?"
He didn't say anything at first. You weren't sure if this meant he was so angry he couldn't speak or if he was just trying to make you nervous.
"Explain," he said at last.
You sighed. "I got into a little fight, it was no big deal."
Lucifer quickly closed the distance between you. He took hold of your chin and tilted your face this way and that. "No big deal? MC, you have a black eye. I think perhaps you've also injured your ankle in some way. Do you really think it's okay to risk yourself like this?"
You frowned up at him. "I can handle myself. Just because I got hurt doesn't mean I didn't win the fight."
Lucifer shook his head in exasperation. "That is not the point. Surely the issue could have been resolved without you getting hurt."
You softened a little. "You don't have to worry about me so much, you know."
Lucifer let go of your chin, tracing the tips of his fingers down your cheek lightly. "How can I not when you come in here looking like this? I know you can take care of yourself, but it really is a problem if you-"
You cut him off, catching his hand and stepping in even closer. "Lecture me later. Right now, can't you just hold me?"
You saw his resolve break as his expression changed. He wrapped his arms around you gently, careful to avoid aggravating your injuries. He pressed a kiss to your forehead, unable to hold back as his worry for you spilled over.
"We will treat your injuries shortly," he said into your hair. "And MC, you will not worry me like this again."
You smiled to yourself at this blatant admission of his concern for you. The warmth of his arms was more than enough to make you feel as though you were healing already. You later heard all about how he hunted down those who hurt you (though you could never figure out how he knew who they were). Those demons were never heard from again.
Satan
You sat down across the table from Satan at the library of RAD. There was nobody else around - it was late in the afternoon and all the other students had long since gone home. You knew Satan was there late, taking his time studying for an upcoming curses and hexes exam. You had agreed to meet him there at some point, since you needed to study for that exam as well.
Satan looked up as you sat down and instantly reached out across the table, grabbing your wrist.
"MC," he said, his voice low. "What happened? Who did this to you?"
You knew he was reacting to the bruises on your face and the cut across your forehead that was currently still bleeding a little.
"I'm fine," you said, shrugging a little and pulling your wrist out of his grip. "I just had to take care of something on my way here. Now are we going to study some hexes or what?"
Satan stared at you with wide eyes for a moment. You watched as his face changed, his eyes going dark and his teeth clenching. You could see where this was going and sure enough, he was suddenly in demon form. He half stood out of his chair, leaning across the table and growling.
"Who was it?" he demanded. You could see the tip of his tail twitch just above the table, unexpectedly free rather than wrapped securely around his leg.
You weren't scared because you knew he was contemplating tearing some other demons limb from limb for doing this to you. His reaction was a little over the top, but nothing you weren't expecting. This was Satan, after all.
"I know you're upset," you said. "But it really isn't anything you need to worry about." You placed your hand over one of his, leaning forward yourself to meet him.
His death glare only cooled slightly. "You can't show up to a study session with injuries like that and expect me not to worry, MC."
"I can if I'm telling you that you don't need to worry," you said adamantly. "I need you to trust me. And honestly, it would help me a lot more if you would calm down and give me a hug than if you went off the rails right now."
He was struck by your words, and they caused him to sit back down. Slowly, his demon form left him and he was back in his RAD uniform. The anger still smoldered in his eyes, but it was in competition with how much he cared for you.
Satan closed his eyes, clearly fighting with himself to push down the wrath that continued to simmer in him. After a few moments and some deep breaths, he opened his eyes again. He came around the table, gently taking your hands and pulling you out of your chair.
His eyes roamed over the cut on your forehead, but he wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you into his chest. You pressed yourself to him, letting your own arms return the embrace. The pain of injuries seemed to fade away entirely as you let him comfort you.
You pulled your head away just a little to look at him and as you did so, you saw a splotch of red against the grey fabric of his uniform. "I'm sorry," you said. "I got blood on your uniform."
Satan sighed and pulled you even closer to him, resting his head on your shoulder. "What am I going to do with you, MC? Promise me you'll be more careful. I hate to see you hurt like this."
"I promise I'll be more careful," you said. It was a promise you felt you could keep.
Belphegor
You moved as quietly as you could through the halls of the House of Lamentation, avoiding any of the brothers you came across. You were on your way to the planetarium to meet up with Belphie and you didn't want any of the others to see the state you were in. So you kept to the shadows, moving along the walls until you came to your destination.
You slipped into the room and smiled at Belphie as he looked up at you. He had been nearly dozing off, so he was still a little bleary.
"There you are," he said with a yawn. "You're late."
"I'm sorry," you said, hoping the room was dark enough that he hadn't noticed your cuts and bruises. You sat down next to him, making sure you stayed partly in shadow. "I lost track of the time."
"Hmm, fine, I'll forgive you this time," Belphie said, rubbing at his eyes.
You laughed softly. "Gee, thanks."
Belphie leaned against your shoulder sleepily. You winced. You didn't mean to, but your shoulder was still sore in that spot.
Belphie noticed instantly. He sat up straight and looked at you carefully, the sleepiness suddenly gone. "MC… is that… a black eye?"
You shrugged. "I don't know what you're talking about."
Belphie frowned. "It is. You're hurt." He tugged on your arm a little to move you more into the light. You knew he could now see how banged up you really were. "MC! What happened to you?"
"Don't worry about it," you said. "It's not a big deal."
Belphie scoffed. "You got into a fight, didn't you? At least tell me that you gave worse than you got."
"Of course I did," you said.
Belphie stood up. "Hang on," he said. "I'll be right back. Then you should tell me about it."
Belphie was gone for only a few minutes, coming back with a first aid kit in tow. He sat back down next to you and opened it, pulling out a disinfectant wipe. He started to wipe down the scrapes on your face. It stung only a little.
"So? What happened? Did some demons insult you or something?" he asked.
"Yeah," you said. "Well, they said some things that I couldn't just ignore and things escalated quickly. But I can promise you they're suffering worse injuries than I am."
Belphie smirked. "I'm not happy about you being hurt," he said seriously. "But I can't pretend I'm not proud of you, either. You should let us handle stuff like that for you, MC. I know you can take care of yourself, but I don't know if it's worth you getting hurt like this."
Belphie carefully put a bandage over the largest cut.
"It's really no big deal," you said. "Especially since I have you to take care of me."
Belphie frowned, a soft blush creeping across his face. He sighed and put his arms around you. "Just because I'll patch you up doesn't mean you should go around getting yourself hurt."
You leaned into his embrace, nuzzling into him while still being careful of your injuries. "I know. Thank you for taking care of me, Belphie."
Although Belphie stayed by your side that night, you later heard rumors about those particular demons being plagued by nightmares.
Diavolo
You ducked into an empty classroom, having finally gotten away from the scene of the fight. You were covered in scratches and bruises and your lip was bleeding. You had eventually escaped the pandemonium after landing a particularly well thrown punch and running while your opponent was dazed. Now you could take a moment to breathe and figure out what you needed to do for your injuries.
You turned around from the classroom door and froze in shock. Diavolo was standing there in the middle of the room, looking just as shocked as you felt. He stared at you for a long moment, taking in your disheveled appearance, and the blood still dripping down your chin.
"MC," he said and the darkness of his voice sent a shiver down your spine. He came toward you. He put one hand on your arm and lifted the other to wipe the blood off of your bottom lip. He let his touch linger there. "Did a student do this to you?"
You considered telling him exactly which demons you had been dealing with. But then you thought about how you weren't entirely blameless. You engaged with them, after all, and there was no doubt that you'd left a few of them injured.
"Please don't worry about it," you said. "It wasn't like I couldn't handle it."
Diavolo sighed. "That isn't the point, I'm afraid," he said. "It's against RAD policy to fight on the grounds."
You smirked a little. "Are you going to give me detention?"
Diavolo laughed. The sound filled you with a feeling of warmth and contentment. It was his usual laugh and it let you know that everything would be okay. "I don't think that will be necessary," he said. "But if there are students picking fights, I'll have to do something about it."
You put your hand on his where it still lingered by your bloody lip. "You can do something about it later, can't you? I could really use a hug right now."
Diavolo put his hand gently on your cheek then wrapped his other arm around you, pulling you close to him. After a moment he put his other arm around you, too, keeping you safe and warm in his embrace.
"I am so sorry this happened to you, MC," he said into your hair. "Please come back to the castle with me so I can be sure your injuries are properly cared for."
You pressed your cheek against his chest. "Are you really that worried about me? I can handle myself."
"I don't doubt you," he said. "But I would feel much better knowing you are being taken care of. Won't you indulge me?"
It wasn't like you could really refuse him. Especially not when you looked into his gold eyes and saw the deep concern there. So you would allow him to take you back to the castle, where you would stay for the rest of the night. You later heard about the rules regarding fighting at RAD becoming more strict.
Barbatos
You pressed your fingertips into your cheek in an attempt to stop the bleeding from a small cut you had gotten there. You felt that it was the most prominent wound, since it was right on your face, and while you couldn't exactly cover up all your bruises, you hoped you could at least stop the bleeding.
You were waiting for Barbatos in the gardens of the Demon Lord's Castle where you were meeting him for tea.
You weren't delusional. You knew you couldn't hide what had happened from Barbatos. But you still thought it would be better if you weren't actively bleeding.
When Barbatos finally arrived, he was carrying a tray of tea and pastries in his hands. The moment he saw you, he nearly dropped the tray, catching himself just in time. Still it tipped enough for a teacup to go flying off the edge, falling to the ground and smashing into tiny pieces.
You gasped and stood up, an unexpected reaction to the shattered teacup. "Oh don't worry, I can fix that," you said.
You couldn't look at Barbatos as you cast the spell to repair the cup. The pieces lifted into the air and fused back together. The cup landed in your palm, whole again. You straightened up and brought the cup over to where Barbatos was still standing, setting it on the tray before meeting his eyes.
There was an unmistakable aura of distress around him, even though his expression remained neutral. He carefully placed the tray on the table you had previously been sitting at.
"Thank you, MC," he said. "I'm afraid I lost my composure for a moment. I apologize for my clumsiness."
You had to hold in a laugh. Of course he would apologize to you for that. "Don't worry about it," you said.
You were about to sit back down at the table when he caught your arm. "I must inquire about your current state, MC."
You shrugged. "It's nothing important," you said. "Just a little altercation I was in on the way here. But I'm fine."
"I must disagree," Barbatos said. To your complete shock, he touched your cheek, leaving a smudged red stain on his spotless white gloves.
"Barbatos!" you cried, taking his hand. "You're getting my blood all over your gloves!"
It wasn't like Barbatos to allow his gloves to get dirty.
"A small matter compared to the fact that you are currently bleeding, MC," Barbatos said calmly. "You must allow me to tend to these wounds."
You sighed, squeezing his hand in both of yours. "All right. But first won't you…" You blushed, a little embarrassed to ask him to hold you.
But Barbatos knew what you wanted to say. He pulled you down into his lap as he sat down in one of the chairs by the table. You rested your head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around you, gently kissing your neck. Much later, he would bandage you up and give you some healing tea. But in that moment, his touch was like the magic you had used on the teacup - making you feel whole again.
Simeon
You fidgeted outside the door to Purgatory Hall. You had come here to spend some time with Simeon, studying while he worked on his latest novel. It was something you had gotten into the habit of doing recently. You were currently concerned about running into Luke and scaring him with the sight of your injuries.
You decided to send Simeon a message on your D.D.D. letting him know you were outside.
He sent you back a question mark sticker, clearly confused about why you didn't just knock on the door.
You waited for a moment instead of responding and the door opened to reveal Simeon, his expression just as confused as the sticker he sent.
"MC?" he asked. Then he got a decent look at you. "Oh, MC. What happened to you?" He grabbed your hand, pulling you inside.
"I'm fine," you said. "Can we just go to your room so I can study?"
Simeon frowned, but he did as you asked. He held your hand tightly as he led you down the hall to his room.
Fortunately, you didn't run into any of the other Purgatory Hall occupants.
When you reached his room, Simeon sat you down on his bed as he stood before you, fingers lightly touching the largest bruise on your face.
"I told you, I'm fine," you said again. "I just didn't want to scare Luke, that's all."
"I appreciate that you were concerned about Luke, MC," Simeon said. "But you really should be worried about yourself, too. These injuries are serious. They need treatment."
You groaned a little and leaned forward, letting your forehead rest on his stomach. "I knew you'd be worried about it," you said. "But I'm fine. And anyway, I'll really start to feel better if you just hold me for a bit."
Simeon chuckled. He gently pushed your head back to make you look up at him. "I could never say no to that," he said. "But you really should let me take care of this later." He let his fingers hover over the various places where you had developed bruises.
"Later," you agreed.
Simeon shook his head, but he sat beside you on the bed. He took you in his arms, leaning back against the pillows so you were lying on his chest. He ran his fingers down your back and kissed the top of your head.
"You really should be more careful in the Devildom, MC," he said.
You snuggled into him more. "It's fine. I can handle myself."
"I have no doubt of that," Simeon said. "But I'd rather you didn't get injured. I can only imagine how the demons you fought are faring."
"Let's just say they'll think twice before messing with me again," you said.
Simeon sighed, but he only held you a little closer.

PREVIOUSLY on "Spectre"...
Jake’s eyes were fluttering closed, his head dropping to the pillow.  “I’m so tired, but I don’t want to go to sleep.”
“Why not?” you asked, blinking innocently.
“Because...” another sigh, “I’m afraid that when I wake up, you’ll be gone.”
☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚
"Spectorr!" Barney called over the usual Triple B's morning bustle.
The door's bell jingled as Jake pushed his way inside. He tipped his hat, greeting the oblivious owner, as Barney summoned him down to the side register. "Usual?"
As Jake bypassed several other customers, Barney noticed not only the flat cap, but a particular jacket and black gloves.
"Buenos dias," Jake flashed a grin.
"Mr. Lockley," Barney grinned. "Apologies. I'll get those hash browns started right away."
"Gracias," Jake shot back with a chuckle.
"Haven't seen you in a while, kid. How you doing?" Barney asked sincerely, getting to work on Jake's café au lait.
"The answer to that question is the fact that I'm here, Barn," Jake shrugged.
"Right, right," the older man nodded, his dark eyes shining with sympathy. "Still...how you holding up with things? Marc said he's having some trouble sleeping. Worried about you boys."
"I would tell you, but you would probably think I'm crazy."
"Whoa, now," Barney cautioned, "Your girl didn't let you talk like that. I'm not about to either. What's going on? Haven't seen Marc in here for days."
Jake wasn't really the care-and-share type. But Barney had a way of disarming everyone.
Besides, Jake wasn't exactly a pretentious fellow. He had nothing to hide.
Leaning in over the counter, Jake glanced around him and lowered his voice. "You believe in ghosts?"
Barney folded his thick arms over his round tummy. "You for real, Lockley?"
"I saw her. Talked to her. So did Marc." He kept his voice just loud enough to be heard over the hiss of the griddle and the bustle of morning customers.
Barney's eyes went wide. "You serious?"
Jake shrugged again. "Told you it sounds crazy. Why do you think Marc's not sleeping? Why do you think I'm here?"
Right then, Jake's order came up. "Figured it was for the café au lait." Barney winked, handing over the to-go hash browns and beverage. "On the house."
"You're a legend, Barn," Jake gave a little salute.
Taking his bag and disposable cup, he ventured back out into town - the town you'd loved so much. It was typically Marc and Steven walking these streets, living in daylight. Jake enjoyed the dark - his car, the noise of the city - the mystery of it.
But he loved you more. So an adorable bungalow in this little town was the life for him.
But now you were gone.
Today, he would work Marc's hardware store shift. He didn't mind. Hopefully Steven would show up for his library shift tomorrow. Sitting in a silent environment filled with old books was about like watching paint dry, at least for Jake.
He had a pleasant day working with his hands. He half expected to hear from one of his alters in various shop windows, but his walk home was quiet - adorned only by jack-o-lanterns, oversized cobwebs and the crunch of leaves under his boots. Then he happened upon the "Mystic Delights and Other Charming Novelties" shop, where Ms. Marjorie was waiting in the doorway, as usual.
"Lovely evening," she called. "Mr...Mr. Lockley, isn't it?"
Jake removed his hat and pushed his fingers through his hair. "Don't think I've had the pleasure, Ms..."
"Ms. Marjorie," she returned. "I'm an acquaintance of Mr. Grant. I won't keep you if you're busy. Just wanted to say hello."
Jake nodded, intrigued by the strange old woman. "I'll, uh...I'll tell Steven you say hi. Nice meeting you."
"He told me a little, you know - about her. I'm sorry for your loss."
Jake normally wouldn't discuss his home life with strangers but he knew how to read people. Kindness lingered behind her eyes. The corners of those eyes crinkled with a sympathetic smile. "Goodnight, dear."
Jake nodded. "Buenas noches, Señora."
A bluster of wind swirled around Jake as he pulled his cap back over his curls.
The rest of the walk home was uneventful. Even Mrs. Nockles didn't magically appear to force a conversation. No, Jake walked all the way to Elm Street without incident. He thought he might eat a little something and then take a nap before working in the city tonight - both jobs.
He wanted to get back to the things that were his: the car, the darkness.
And he wanted to see you. He half expected you to be sitting on the bed once he climbed the stairs to the bedroom to change clothes. Even after a shower and that nap he was so interested in - nothing.
He finally got dressed to head out to his actual job, pausing at your front-porch-photograph hanging outside the bedroom in the hallway.
"Te amo," he whispered, swiping one finger over your pictured hair before pulling on his gloves.
☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚☾ ⋆*・゚:⋆*・゚
The next morning, Steven woke up late. Not surprising, given that Jake was out most of the night.
You were there, perched on the end of the bed. You had become aware of yourself - conscious - while they slept. You watched your partner resting, longing to talk to him. And wondering if you would be seen once they woke up.
Steven saw nothing.
You followed closely behind him as he brushed his teeth and got dressed, sighing in defeat as he walked out of the bedroom, pausing by your picture in the hallway.
"'Mornin' my love," he softly greeted. "Miss you so much today. Almost feels like you're here. Guess I was a bit too hard on Marc. Might be going a bit bonkers myself. Thought I saw you in the window the other night."
You rose (floated?) to your feet, wishing with all your non-corporeal form that you could run to Steven and shake him.
"Steven, I'm here!" You called out. "Wait, please, I'm right here!'
But he left. You couldn't follow. You could never follow. Anytime you tried to leave the room you only ended up back in the Dark Place.
It happened a lot. It was like it took a lot of focus and energy to stay in this room.
Steven came home tired and oblivious. Ms. Marjore and Mrs. Nockles had invited him in for sandwiches, but he could barely keep his eyes open. He never lifted his gaze to find the bedroom curtains rustling. And of course, he couldn't see you there, waiting on the bed.
But the following morning, Marc did.
Steven had fallen into bed by 7pm, and Jake was exhausted from fronting. They slept all night, leaving Marc feeling quite refreshed.
Rubbing his eyes, he sat up in bed only to see you there on the end, waiting for him.
"Oh shit," he hissed, in surprise, running his hands over his face to make sure his eyes weren't playing tricks on him. By this point, he expected you to murmur some tortured nonsense and float out the window. But you scooted closer, seeming quite yourself.
"Marc?"
His dark eyes blinked and then narrowed, scrutinizing you for a moment. Was he dreaming?
Your head dropped in defeat when he failed to answer. "You can't see me," you lamented.
"Sweetheart, yeah. I can see you. I see you."
Your head snapped back up, making your hood fall down. "Marc," you breathed. "Hi..." You weren't sure what to say. You didn't want to scare him again.
"Hey," he softly returned, pulling back the covers to slide closer to you. "Don't leave, okay?"
"I won't," you quickly assured him, momentarily distracted as your eyes flickered down to his bare chest, trailing down his soft tummy, over the tantalizing bulge hidden by black boxer briefs. The thin fabric barely wrapped around his thick thighs.
Ahem.
"You’ve been gone. I missed you," you told him, eager to have a real chance to talk to Marc. "I'm so sorry I was scaring you. I wasn't trying to."
"I know, baby," he quickly nodded. "It's okay. I just..."
Your gazes locked.
His dark eyebrows shifted as he studied you quizzically...almost hopefully. “Jake said you talked to him for a while. That you seemed…clearer.”
You nodded eagerly. Feelings were still strange to you, but you were sure you felt relieved that Marc wanted to talk with you. That he wasn’t so traumatized by your presence.
He scooted closer - so close that, if you had a living body, your thighs would have been touching. His eyes studied you so carefully, with such tender regard, you were almost certain he wanted to kiss you.
“Is it true that you can’t leave this room?” He asked you, his voice tinged with sadness.
You chewed where your lip used to be, thoughtfully. “Yeah, I don’t think can leave. Not that I can remember.”
On instinct, he reached for your hand, but came up empty.
“Marc, I…I’m sorry.”
“‘S okay, baby. Not your fault.” He granted you a tender smile, but pain lingered behind his eyes. “You really weren’t downstairs the other night? In the living room, in my chair?”
Your eyebrows shifted in confusion. “I was sitting in your chair?”
“No, I was,” he explained. “You were sitting…well, on top of me.” Marc scrubbed the back of his neck with his hand.
So cute.
“I was sitting on top of you in your chair?” You repeated, blinking innocently. “What was I doing on top of you?”
Marc chuckled sheepishly, his dark lashes kissing his cheeks as his gaze dropped.
“Jake said you saw me naked,” you went on. “Was I naked, on top of you?’
This was too adorable. Marc Spector was blushing. “I, uh…I had too much to drink, I think. Probably a dream.”
“Was it a good dream?” You whispered, drawing his gaze back to you.
Marc peered at you openly now, his eyes locking on to yours. “You remember the seventh inning stretch?”
Oh, that.
Marc used to watch baseball games in his favorite chair. Occasionally, you watched too. Sometimes you were upstairs writing in your loft. Eventually, you would venture down and ask Marc how much longer til the game was over. He would always promise you he’d come upstairs during the seventh inning stretch - which, on television was simply another commercial break.
If Marc ever needed any convincing, you would simply appear in the living room wearing nothing. Once you had his attention, you would climb on top of him. Sometimes you were sure Marc pretended to ignore you just a little too long for the express purpose of you crawling on top of him in that damn chair and giving him a good ride.
You had a lot of good times in that old chair.
“I guess it had to be a dream,” he reasoned, pulling you from your reverie. “Damn good one.” Then he repeated something Jake had said. “You’re still so beautiful.”
You...swallowed? Your eyes fluttering down to Marc’s perfect, full lips, which he was presently moistening with his tongue.
What was going on? You were dead and he was very much alive. What kind of a ghost had…desires?
You were staring. Blatantly.
There were definitely more important issues than attraction right now, but Marc couldn’t help the way he responded to you. He loved you as much at this moment as he ever did when you were alive.
“Marc, I… it’s probably not fair to you, for me to be here like this. I mean…I still love you. But you…you should - "
“Do not say I should move on,” he warned, tearing his eyes from yours. “Don’t even think it.”
You found yourself speechless for a moment, which concerned him. Maybe you would become confused again, and disappear.
“Baby, I’m sorry. I’m not mad, just - don’t go yet, okay?” His voice broke as his eyes shone with moisture. “Don’t leave me just yet.”
“Hey, I’m here,” you soothed, drifting to stand in front of him. Peering down at him earnestly, you wondered how a dead vapor of a woman with no pulse and no heartbeat could feel such a burn in her chest - such a gut-wrenching longing.
You were presently dead. That was a fact. Which meant you were haunting Marc. If you kept this up, it would only hurt him. He would never be able to move on. But before you could figure out how to express your concerns, he beat you to it.
"I'm worried about you," Marc quietly confessed, his fingers toying with the vapor that was your hand. This small action both soothed and electrified you somehow.
“About me?”
“Yeah,” he whispered. “Jake said you don’t know where you are, or why you’re not with your parents. I’m so sorry.”
You didn’t answer - your face simply twisted as it was prone to do when you were carefully thinking, or sometimes, writing.
Marc would often find you in your loft, staring at a blank screen, your precious face twisted in thought.
“You’re stuck on a detail, right?” He would sweetly interrupt.
It was always true. You knew the outline of your story - where you wanted to go, but you would fuss over the details of the overalls your character wore, or how a strand of hair fell. Marc would help you zoom out and keep your eye on the big picture. Get the rough draft down. Be objective.
Steven would go through first and second drafts with you. He could spot continuity errors or suggest the slightest detail to brighten a paragraph.
Jake didn’t work with you too often, but he would take your manuscripts out at night with him and read them in his car. Jake always had a emotional suggestion. Even though you wrote children’s books, he would ask questions about their motivations.
“My 3 editors,” you would call them. You took their suggestions quite seriously, sometimes to the bewilderment of your actual editor.
Marc’s voice softly pulled you back to the present moment. “Sweetheart? You’re drifting away.” Peering down at him, you saw his eyes wide and worried.
“Marc?” You whispered. “Did I…was I gone just now?”
“No,” he confirmed. “Just quiet for a few minutes. I thought you might not come back for a while.”
A smile warmed your face. “No, I was remembering. It was…nice.”
After that, you and Marc got back on track - discussing the darkness and where you might be - why you weren’t at rest. You talked through some theories. Maybe this was the afterlife? Your bedroom - the place where you lived so much life, ate so many breakfasts-in-bed, sweetly conversed while moonlight streamed through the window.
Where your lover had held you in his arms, on his chest while you slept. The place filled with passion, heated lovemaking - night after night, tangled together in the sheets - the heavy length of him inside you…the press of his hips pinning you to the mattress.
The thickness of his thighs caging you in as you took him into your mouth, or the mess of dark curls between your thighs first thing in the morning.
Steven’s soft whimpers against your breast as he would suck you there.
The way you would pull Jake into bed by his tie at 4 am, end up with his gloved fingers stuffed deep into your pussy and his flat cap on your head. The tie would eventually secure your wrists to the bedpost and then you were in for it.
There wasn’t a thing you wouldn’t try with your partner and you loved every second of it.
The filthy words Marc would breathe on your neck as he would take you from behind.
He loved to find you half asleep, waiting naked for him to finish the baseball game. He would slide under the covers and pull you close - kiss a trail down the side of your neck as your legs fell open for him. Thick fingers slid between your folds to find you wet already.
Marc would lazily roll your clit between his thumb and finger -that sensation alone elicited lust filled moans that would make him instantly hard. You were already coming by the time he slid inside you, cupping your mound - pushing you down into his upward thrust.
This is how he fucked you for the last time. You whimpered and moaned and begged for more. So he gripped your hips hard enough to bruise, pulling you up on all fours. Standing on his knees, he slammed into you from behind, but you wanted it harder. Harder.
You came again, blinding hot pleasure making you shriek as your back arched and your cunt gushed hot and wet all over him. He gathered you close as you murmured his name, begging him to stay inside you until he was hard again.
You fell asleep hot and wet and joined, and he slowly, deeply fucked you awake as the sun rose for your last day on Earth.
So maybe this was heaven.
You heard Marc calling your name once more.
“Sorry…I was remembering again.”
“I know, sweet girl,” he choked out. Looking down at him, there on the edge of the bed, you realized his cheeks were flushed and he shifted with the slight discomfort of a man with an erection.
“You were talking about the last time we were in bed together. In detail. Like...writer's detail.” His dark eyebrows shifted curiously. “You don’t remember?”
“I…said all that out loud?” If you had an actual face, it would feel hot right now. “Shit - I’m sorry. I guess I was just wondering if a place with so many good memories could be…heaven.”
This sobered Marc a little. Pushing off the bed, he…readjusted himself before raking a hand through his hair. He paced over to the window, giving you a delicious view from behind, before he whirled on his heel, back to you. “Lot of good memories, yeah.”
You eased over to him, reaching out. All you wanted was to feel his arms around you. When you came up empty, you saw his beautiful eyes moisten as his throat bobbed.
How could this be heaven if Marc was sad? And how could you share any more of those precious or salacious moments if you couldn’t touch him?
You just gave him an erection, for fucks sake.
"I'm happy, you know," he said softly, "if you drift to a good memory instead of the dark. It's...not something you need to apologize for. I'm glad for it."
"But you're sad," you whispered fervently. "I'm hurting you. Just by existing, I - "
"No," he hissed. "Don't say it's better if you're gone. Please just...don't fucking say it."
"But, Marc, I - "
The way his eyes flashed gave you pause.
"I better not list the house for sale," he murmured, mostly to himself. He ran his hand over his chin thoughtfully before finding your gaze once more. "I'm not gonna leave you here."
A breath you would never actually breathe caught in your chest, where your lungs should be. "You were going to sell the house?"
His head dropped, almost shamefully. "Babe, I...I'm not like them - Steven and Jake. I don't...adjust to things. I can't look at your pictures the way they do, or even talk about you..." He sniffed as his voice cracked with emotion. "This house isn't the same without you in it and I thought...I thought I would just - "
"Run," you interjected. "You thought you would run. Because Marc Spector thinks he can run faster than his pain, or punch it out of someone else."
He physically withdrew as your words stung him. It was delivered with more candor than you intended.
"I don't mean to judge you, Marc. I'm sorry, I..."
"No, you're right," he admitted. Marc knew what he was. He was just...made wrong. "Steven loves it here. It's his home. And Jake's at home anywhere his car is. Or we are. Steven and me. But I...I can't...can't seem to get myself together. Shit."
He shook his head, tearing his fingers through his hair. "Listen to me. What the hell am I even talking about when you're the one who..."
"You're grieving," you spoke softly. Sweetly. "There's no right way to do it. You're not wrong to need a change. You're not wrong to be angry. I know I am."
Marc nodded, feeling awful for somehow making this issue you were having about his pain. Pathetic. "I'm so sorry, sweetheart. What can I do?"
"Marc, hey...look at me?" You wanted him to stop for a second and just be with you. He complied, the pain he felt pulling the corners of his mouth down. The wrinkle you used to smooth away with your fingers appeared between his thick eyebrows.
"Take it easy on yourself? For me?"
Easier said than done.
"And...and maybe don't sell the house just yet?" You barely managed that request in a choked whisper. "If this is the only place I am besides the dark, and...and you guys leave then, I'm afraid - "
"Of the dark," he solemnly concluded. Reaching for your hand again - pointless, though it was, he made a vow. "Baby, look at me. I will never leave you here alone. Never. I promise you."
You nodded, certain you could feel a warm reassurance washing over you. "Thank you. I love you so much."
"I love you too. Always."

I've decided to do this since it's been laying in my photos for a bit. I will give context!
Favs: I am absolutely in love with Beelzebub I have no idea why he attracted me so much but I have been non-stop horny and lovingly obsessed with him. This is actually recent I am Bi so I was saddened at first to realize there were no women dateables but once thirteen came out whew😮‍💨 I was completely smitten. She is so beautiful and really my type idrc if she was mean to me at first I need her.
Love: I love love LOVE 🪙Mammon🪙 he's so fucking cute and I love my men a little dumb so he was perfect :) I am quite literally a dia and beel account so of course I love diavolo heavily. He's a himbo (my type if you couldn't tell) and I adored him when he came on screen. He used to be high up there but with some logical reasoning I realize I'd be a better match for beel and thirteen. I have a aggressive relationship with Lucifer I can see myself dating him but we would fight often and I like bullying him/ teasing him a lot. He's a little much sometimes so thats why he's a love only. Belphie at first was a only like character but believe it or not after replaying the game again I realized he is pretty damn hot and attractive to me. Even when he killed me I was still into him (yes I have issues).
Like: okay so this is complex these are characters I can only see myself dating like a little bit or they are just friends in a higher degree. Levi is adorable but I do admit I don't like when he speaks sometimes lmao. His vocabulary kinda irritates me at times so I don't see myself choosing him often as a dating character. Satan I am indifferent on I will admit he is slowly growing on me but I personally don't like blondes much so it dropped with that and his aggression is very similar to mine so I can only imagine how horrible fights will go with him. But he still is attractive to me date wise. Now onto luke and asmos I find them both as friends no sense of dating at all between these two characters for me. Asmos is just completely not my type and Luke is well a child so yeah immediately no.
Neutral: these characters I don't know/ trust enough to date but the thought is nice but they are low on the list. These characters are also heavily liked by my sister so I backed off for that too. Barb I just can't see myself with and my sister is heavily down bad for so eh. Simeon is an angel and believe it or not I actually prefer demons over angels so I was put off by that fact and he is just idk not doing it for me... I do enjoy drawing him though:). Solomon I just do not trust whatsoever I do think I'd be the classic friends with benefits with him but dating I don't think so I gotta trust a mf I wanna be with the rest of my life sooo. He is also another character my sister is heavily down bad for. Meso is odd for me. He is attractive but to a certain degree he is idk too immature? I can't pin point it... Still being friends is perfect:D
Dislike/neutral: okay please do NOT attack me but I just don't like nor trust Raphael he is just so UGH. He also scolded beel and it irritated me heavily. Yes I care about that stuff STFU if it bothers you idc. I will tolerate him but NO.
