The sun comes up on another morning My mind never wakes up without you on it And it’s crazy to me I even see you in my dreams Is this meant to be?

She’s been giddy since she woke up. There’s a spring in her step and she bounds around her house. She opens all the windows, puts on music and begins to clean. She wanted everything to be perfect, or as perfect as everything could be. She threw herself into the cleaning. Scrubbing the sides, bleaching them, cleaning the doors, windows, dusting, hoovering and making sure the bathrooms were spotless. She was leaving nothing to chance.

Her hands hurt, her home smelt of disinfectant but only once everything gleamed did she stop. She left herself with enough time to shower, run round with air freshener and light a crafty candle to pretend she’s been relaxing all afternoon. She makes her way through the house, starting from the door and tries to look with “new” eyes. How would a stranger feel? She stepped into the house and sniffed the air. Does her home smell nice? How would it be to a stranger?

I know a lot of us here feel burnt out and sad. And I am saying this to myself as much as I am saying it to all of you. You’re worth so much more than what you can produce. You have value in this community just for being you.

And even if you can’t write or draw now, everything you’ve created in the past is still so valuable. In fact I encourage all of you to go through your fav’s writing tags and reblog something old. Maybe you’ll find something that’s new for you. Share things you’ve created in the past. They still matter!

I know there’s a lot of not great things happening and it’s stressful and sad. And yes this is corny but I think we can all find empathy and understanding with each other, we can lean on each other.

And of course take the breaks that you need, you’re always welcome back here, be it 6 days or 6 months. Don’t let the .01% that focus on numbers, or sending hate, or creating drama ruin something you love. Turn off anon if you have to. Don’t make yourself accessible to people who just want to hurt you.

Groaning, she turns over, pulling her pillow with her as she tries to clamp it as close over her ears as she possibly can, cussing the day she ever bought this place. No wonder they were so picky about when she could come to view. Of course it had to be when he wasn’t in because it would never have sold otherwise.

With his loud music, singing in silly voices at all hours, stomping about and the sound of the fire alarm wailing each time he cooked, he was making the first year of what should have been a proud time with her finally owning her first home a frustrating one. He’d answered the door in damp clothes the first time she’d complained.

He’d clearly rushed to answer the door after being in the shower, wet spots soaked through his shirt which hadn’t been pulled down properly, lifted high on his stomach at one side, revealing the slim waist, athletic without being muscular but the outline of his V and the thin trail of darker hair was visible which ran down from his belly button into his dampened knee length shorts. His dark blonde hair was dripping, slicked back except for the few strands which fell around his face, over his intense blue eyes, in his haste to answer her knocking.

“Can I help?” He’d asked confused as he’d looked over her.

“I’m glad you asked,” she’d replied, one song away from tapping her foot on the floor and folding her arms over her chest as she’d tried her best to stare him down in anger rather than lust. “Turn it down please.”

“Oooh, she says please.” He grinned, flashing perfect white teeth, exposing a dimple too in the process. The light caught the small stud at his nostril as he’d done so and her pussy had tightened. “For a moment there, I thought you were going to bust my balls with the way you were banging on the door. Must have been someone else.” His bottom lip had caught between his teeth and she hated herself for coming over, wishing that she’d just stuck a note in with his post.

living room:

clear off the window sill and wipe down.

break down unnecessary boxes and put them in the wheelie bin

throw out any rubbish

vacuum

Kitchen:

empty dishwasher / refill

take out kitchen bin and empty

wipe down the sides

clear off kitchen table and wipe that down

vacuum

plus try and do a load of laundry and do a lil bit of writing too.

big Bub is at school until late today so I've got a few extra hours to try and cram everything in. baby Bub is causing chaos in the living room and is smearing chocolate biscuit hands everywhere so I'm trying to be a calm and gentle parent but it's making my eye twitch.

I've actually written Ox! Here's his few fics but they are several years old though.

not me looking at Levi's birth year and thinking "technically, we're at the ages where I could have given birth to him." bloody noughties babies 😭

While I may not move them to the "any and all requests" players, I would absolutely consider them for when requests are fully open! I will also be bringing back more Underrated weekends, where players / managers who maybe don't get as much love as others will get their time to shine with some requests and this would be a perfect opportunity to send in requests when these are open.

Fernando Torres - fluff - Christmas gifts and general attention for one another has moved down the pecking order once children came along, but Nando is adamant to show her how much he loves her.

Antoine Griezmann - fluff - Antoine takes the cowards way out by inviting her to the club's Christmas meal as his plus one. But as the alcohol flows, his finds his courage to finally confess his feelings.

Matteo Berrettini - smut - emboldened by receiving some pretty raunchy and buzzing friends by her bestie as a joke (a joke that Matteo discovers after overhearing), he's determined to show her how beneficial they can be when used with the right person.

Joe Gomez - when LFC's Christmas party brings both the men's and the women's teams together, she's placed next to Joe during the meal. Flirting and alcohol tends not to end well, but Joey is determined to give her a present she'll never forget.
