Well, it worked... mostly. Lansa is blind in both eyes with dementia and resurrection sickness, but that's nothing some bionics and a healer mech serum can't handle. Tokori is missing his right ring finger, but a finger in exchange for a brother is more than fair in my opinion.

Welcome back to the land of the living, Lansa!

Lansa is still technically hostile at the moment, so he's going to jail until we can get him on our side. Tokori will go sleep off his psycasting coma in the hospital, and then probably go right back to taking back-to-back baths before long. He's such an idiot, I love him.

In the meantime, Ivy has managed to get the jail emptied out so Lansa has it all to himself! Metan and Pegasius, our lovestruck deserter prisoners, have gone to start a new life of domestic bliss at a new outpost called Delsuston. They also have a pet ostrich named Sakii, so they're probably having a grand old time. Good for them!

Last but certainly not least...

... It looks like the end of Season One of this story is fast approaching. Four Jones boys, one android, and one beloved adopted little girl... that's a bit more than five by my count. Wonder what we'll do about that...

Cretan diplomats based on a painting of the tomb of Rekhmire, Luxor. I was intruigued by the leopard skirt thingy one of them is wearing and drew a more or less realistic interpretation of it! The other guy's there so he can have a buddy.

While i usually draw people looking as average as possible, it's not the case here. It's fair to assume that within the "PR" context of the painting (representing their people in front of a foreign king) these would be the ancient aegean's hottest boytoys, so I kept them snatched and smooth shaved.

Ford was the same. Sure, maybe a little older, a little grayer than he last saw him but- Bill shrieked. “WHAT is THAT?” Fez betrayed him! How could he not mention, not even once, in the months he’d been here, that Ford grew a BEARD!!! Bill pinched his arm repeatedly. “Wake up, wake UP…” “Bill! Stop that!” Ford said exasperated. “What are you going to do?” “Either kill Stanley or shave you, whichever comes first,” Bill said darkly. The arm pinches weren’t working… a horrible thought hit him. What if it wasn’t just Ford? Bill’s eye widened in panic. “Does Stan have a beard? Does Shooting Star? DOES PINE TREE?” He could not deal with a fully furred Dipper. It was too horrific to contemplate. “No! Just me!” the scientist reassured. “Does it really look that bad?” Ford’s hand went self-consciously to his chin. “I thought it was… you know, rugged? For sea adventures?” “It’s… so different.” At most, Bill had only ever seen stubble, and that was after days of sleep-deprivation! Even running for his life across dimensions, Ford had always somehow found the time and equipment for a nice, clean-cut shave. “Is THAT why you smell weird?”

“You know what I smell like?”

“Of course I do!” Ford had always smelled faintly of brunt hair (he smelled like home).
