A little scene I wanted to paint for myself.

-After the events of Act 6

I honestly am thinking about the events of the night just after the group finally rests after the whole defeating the king and stopping Siffrin from looping once more.

And I imagine Siffrin just absolutely crashes. Like they finally can rest after not being able to properly for so long. I like to they all are just causlly chilling at the clock tower, discussing their next plan of actions and going to see Bonnie's sister. And Sif just can't stay awake anymore, his eyes get heavy. (And obviously his sitting right next to Isa) and just passes out against him. Isa's heart absolutely shatters, cause "oh my god he's so cute!!!" But also the group decides let's get to bed shortly after. So Isa carries Sif to bed. And tucks him in, and they all get settled for the night. And everything seems to be going peacefully.

Until Sif wakes up from a nightmare pertaining to the loops. :)

And I just imagine he wakes up, tears streaming down his face, he can't breath. And Isa just immediately hugs him close, talks softly to him. Whispering something like "It's okay Sif... I'm here... you're here... I got you." And probably reminding them about their breathing technique. And slowly breathe in a out with him.

And then of course the others hear this too. And immediately rush to Siffrin's side to comfort him. Odile would probably lean close to him, like get down on her knees next to the bed. Maybe like gently rub his shoulder or something similar.

Mira would probably be a gentle hand hold, or maybe joins in on the hug, just wanting to help her feelings buddy out!

Bonnie, would probably quickly rush over to Siffrin and hold his hand once more. (And of course, it's still sticky)

Slowly Siffrin would stop crying, their shaking would stop, and their heart rate returns to normal. They'd remind themself: "it's okay... my family is here." And they'd look all of their faces, and a heavy, but greatful smile would plaster his face. It's finally over...

One of them is that the place somewhere in the middle (as per their offscreen meeting in S6/S3) is a place they picked together at some point after they broke up (maybe in "Forever"?) and made a pact that If they ever really needed each other, they could meet there. I imagine that it's near a beach somewhere, and that they sneak away sometimes to meet there and just spend time together when they really miss each other or need comfort.

Another is that in "Surprise", when they were saying goodbye to each other on the dock and they get attacked by the vamps and Buffy is thrown into the water, Angel jumps in after her instead of going after the vamps because he panicked and reacted quickly due to having seen her die by drowning the previous season.

Another is that in "Chosen" when Buffy asks Angel what the highlight of their relationship was, he looks away because he's thinking about their day in "I Will Remember You".

ok last one lol....Buffy has a box that she keeps in the back of her closet with all of the things that Angel has given her: the jacket, the cross necklace, the book of poems (that she found again at a bookshop randomly and bought because she lost the original), and a Claddagh ring. She doesn't ever really open the box, but she can't bring herself to get rid of any of it, and when it's time for spring cleaning, she pulls it out and just takes a moment to remember. And Angel always kept a picture of Buffy in a book that he doesn't really let himself open anymore, but he keeps it in his bedside table at all times, along with his Claddagh ring on a chain (that we see him wear in AtS S2 Ep1).

I just read M O T H by streetcat and need to yap about it

I needed a Kokonui fic, and streetcat delivered, the whole narrative just felt like accurate poetry to the escenary of the plot. (maybe another time i would actually write about the way the writing makes you feel the atmosphere)

it is placed in the bonten timeline, so you know its gonna have angst, but what i really liked was the different interactions Koko and Inupi had with Mikey, Sanzu and Draken.

i've been thinking about the ending a lot (i adored it, dont get me wrong), but mainly about the posibilities it had of the relationships that were built over the plot.

Case 1: Sanzu and Mikey

i think that to fully dive into their relationship we have to consider the manga, we know that part of the loyalty that Sanzu has for Mikey is because he knows about the first timeline, he knows about what shinichiro did and the consequences it had. Sanzu is loyal bc hes Mikeys childhoold friend, and knows the impact of everything Mikey has lost. His loyalty is a double edged sword; Sanzu cannot defy his king, he cannot stop him from selfdestructing, but if a better path is open, he will sugest it and defend his point until it's taken. Sanzu chose staying and being the one Mikey tainted with his dark impulses.

Sanzus derangement and volatile personality is a show of his original self and the tainted version of the timelines.

so, in MOTH i think is interesting how he will follow orders, almost killing koko and inupi without a second thought bc that was his order from his king; being uncomfortable when confronted with his own values and interests ; admiring kokonui relationship from afar and talking to inupi about it (like his friendship with koko during boten, sharing what he knows from what was said during high conversations), offering an alternative to Mikey of a plan that wouldnt risk Koko, and Mikey listening to him. Mikey has never doubt of Sanzus loyalty

Case 2: Mikey and Inupi

it is said along the story that inupis boldness towards Mikey was gonna get him killed, and true, he did put himself in riskier situations but he also knew what to share. From what he remembers from his teens, to what hes heard from Takemichy and Draken, he knows that Mikey was idolized, and to some extent that was one of the steps he needed to dehuminazing himself, the fact that everyone thought Mikey was unreachable made him believe it.

Inupi realizes that Mikey is in a situation similar to kokos (at least in the MOTHverse) and he confronts him, and Mikey listens mostly because of Draken.

he didint kill inupi because draken asked him to, but he helped inupi to save koko because he saw the same drive draken had for saving him, only that he cannot allowed it

Case 3: Mikey and Koko

Overall i think they dont have many interactions, bc at the beginning Mickey is hunting koko for being a traitor, but when the time comes, he pardons kokos and inupis lives. when Mikey questions koko for his choice and answers that he just wanted an excuse to be killed bc he was fucked up and tired, thats when he decided to let him go, because unlike mikey , when someone offered a hand to help koko, he accepted it

Case 4: Sanzu and Inupi

i loved that there was a point were inupi was like "oh, hes crazy crazy" and he was so angry for what Sanzu did to koko (beating him up and have all the intentions of killing inupi infront of him), and he was just trying to find safe ground, questioning the severness of his actions and the meaning of his loyalty

but then koko disappears and turns out that Sanzu is the only one inupi knows that could help him

Sanzu laughs at knive point bc he was genuinly surprised by inupi, and hes willing to go with whatever hes asking bc it was interesting, even if it didnt concern him, Sanzu listen to what inuppi had to say.

Also, I think that Inupi starts to give him some slack after Sanzu tells Mikey that there's a way to save Koko without the risk of killing him, thats when he realizes that genuinely, Sanzu follows orders, but he ain't stupid, he has his own criteria of what it is worth speaking up for, your not supposed to understand that criteria.

Case 5: Sanzu and Koko

we know that they spent time together because of bonten, but in MOTHverse, they are the closest they have to friends. They've shared things, so they know each other; that's why Sanzu knows he has to hunt for Inupi, and Koko knows that he's just following Mikeys orders, thus, it's useless trying to talking him out of killing them, but he tries nonetheless.

Sanzu is aware of this, and he convinces himself that he's okay with any outcome, because its his kings will, but we see, when he and Inupi talked, that he had some kind of affection for Koko, for all the years that they have known each other

I'm beginning to work on writing a short little comic about sans and papyrus when they were younger! Theres alot of grey area surronding them- how they aren't from around there (as sans talking about how he wants to go back home, and the snowdin shopkeeper saying they just 'turned up and asserted themselves' and how sans most likely raised papyrus when the two of them were younger (Augh that one canon thing when papyrus asks sans if he'd cut his apples for him..) so yeah! I wanted to make my own little short interpretation of what i think it was like for them growing up This will also be like my first comic project, so any sort of advice is really appreciated (like with textboxes, backgrounds... ough.. backgrounds) yeah anything would be great

Thoughts bout Icarus and Quixis and Unlocked :)

Looking at Season 1. Everything Icarus did to the people around them, hurt everyone around them, destroyed almost everyone’s houses, almost killed multiple people and DID kill Haley. Not to mention everything they did to Athena. 

Looking at Season 3. Murder is arguably worse than what Quixis did, and I know we don’t know everything Quixis has done, but Icarus themself didn’t know how to feel about Quixis until Unlocked. Which makes it clear that Unlocked was the turning point. At least for what they remember.

You might be saying “Oh but Icarus didn’t have any control over what they did in Season 1” and you are correct, but it has already been established that Quixis doesn’t always have control over what changes, and to be completely honest, that path doesn’t scream presice control, it seems more like random glitching on Quixis’ part. We do know, from the massive fuck off wall they placed in the way, that they wanted Icarus to go back to the portal - or at least not get to their house. So it’s very plausible that they didn’t mean to change Icarus’ wings, that they were just angry or scared from Icarus’ not listening to them, and they most definitely wouldn’t have wanted Icarus to be flying, and that could’ve ended up manifesting as breaking Icarus’ wings.

Let’s not ignore, in Season 2 Icarus just trapped Centross in that prison. They almost killed him. They were not corrupted. Enderian had no input there. That was Icarus’ own actions, their own choices. Centross and Icarus are not enemies because of that. They’re very close friends despite that. None of the people Icarus hurt blame them for it. Rae recently found out that he would’ve died from when Icarus pushed him off the tower in Season 1 if not for his elytra. He doesn’t hold that against them. He forgives Icarus for everything they did to him. Athena forgives them for everything they did. All of them forgive Icarus. 

Icarus doesn’t forgive Quixis.

Quixis apologied, Quixis gave Icarus back their wings. If it was an accident, there is nothing more they could do to apologise. Icarus said themself that there was nothing Quixis could do to fix what they did. Icarus said they’d be even be willing to kill Quixis.

Icarus killed Haley. Haley forgives them. Quixis is the reason Haley is even around to be able to forgive them. 

So here’s what I have to ask Icarus:

If you wont forgive Quixis for what they did, how can you think yourself worthy of forgiveness?

Am I saying Quixis is trustworthy? No. Am I saying they’re a good person? Also no. What I am saying is Quixis is no worse than Icarus, and they are being incredibly hypocritcal by outright hating them.

[LATER: The guild is here, they’re setting up camp]

Tank: You guys don’t think I’m ugly, right? Hana: *stares at him silently* Enid: *Glares at Hana briefly bc Hana did not need to do all that* No. Why? Who told you that? *(Automatically ready to kill)* Tank: No one. I was just wondering. Alope: 🤔 Alope: I think you’ve got a great personality…! :D Tank: …. Enid: … Tank: You did not just fucking say that. Enid: BE NICE ALOPE. Alope: WHAT? THAT WAS NICE!!! AT LEAST I ANSWERED *Glances at Hana* Enid: NOOO. That was MEAN! YOU AND HANA ARE BOTH MEAN! Hana: I DIDN’T EVEN SAY ANYTHING!

[Rare instance of Enid defending Tank and arguing w/Alope and Hana. Tank watches; offended. The moonlight makes Tank look blue and detached ]

[They finish setting up the camp. Everyone is sleep, except Enid and Tank. They sit back to back, and Enid is about to fall asleep.]

Enid: *Yawning* Hey, sorry about those two… You still need to tell me who called you that so I can beat- Tank: Nah. Don’t worry. Enid: ? Tank: *Replaying the moment in his head* The old man handled it.
