MY BATTLE-ABLE POKÉMON!!

I got Meraki as a Venipede from a Unovan breeder about 5 years ago! She’s rather energetic and loves to run around. She runs with me every morning during my training! An amazing little training buddy.

I rescued Fika about 2 years ago from an illegal breeding business located in Paldea. She’s rather giddy and energetic, and plays with Meraki a lot. She also loves helping Mum serve the table, almost always floating in the kitchen when she knows it’s time to prepare dinner!

I got Mirea from a reputable breeder that was located in Alola about 4 years ago! She was the one that actually inspired me to start doing Contests, and we’ve been doing them together for the entire 3 years so far — and we plan to continue! She’s very chilled out, a “happy with anything” kind of girl.

I found them in the Max Lair in The Crown Tundra! They aren’t the “real deal”, but I love them nonetheless! They’re also a Contestee alongside Mirea and I, and seem to quite adore the attention they receive.

I got her as a baby Applin 5 years back from a now retired Grass Type Breeder here in Galar! She’s very sweet and friendly, and truly believes she’s a lap Dragon. To be fair, I let her believe it too — haha!

She was the very first Pokémon I ever got as a Stufful, gifted to me by Dad! She loves training in the Dojo alongside me, and works out with me in the mornings as well! She’s a bit of a toughie, but we love her for it.

MY OTHER POKÉMON!!

My retired baby! She got badly injured from an altercation and now cannot battle or compete in contests, but she’s loving her easier lifestyle. As long as she has her disco ball, she’s happy.

My up and coming Contestee!! She’s young, having only been adopted two months ago — but she’s already sparkling with talent and loving the Contestee training! I’m unsure whether she’ll end up evolving or not, I’m waiting to see what she wants to do!

mika: heavy instagram user - posts a lot, just random pictures of her life, selfies, friends, whatever. heavy tumblr user - memes, random rambly rants about whatever, songs she likes, a bunch of pictures of her tits, way too horny on main. probably got suspended a bunch of times because too much tiddy lmao. gets into random fights with people with bad opinions. loves getting anon hate to make fun of.

gabriel: occasional reddit user. not hugely into social media in general, but likes being smarter than anyone else, especially on r/legaladvice. r/amitheasshole is his version of trash tv as a random distraction.

kat: does not care for social media but somehow got accidentally tiktok famous with some random medical misinformation rant because she just couldn't take all the bullshit anymore, and now occasionally throws out a new video. still undecided on how she feels about being called mommy by a bunch of 20yo lesbians. occasional instagram user to stay in touch with old friends and family and such, but doesn't really post much.

july: moderate instagram user, just really likes photography. mostly pretty shit she sees, actually well-shot. barely any selfies. heavy tumblr user - mainly rbs a bunch of random shit, not much oc except some of her photography crossposted from insta. lots of movie gifs. random rb sprees of whatever her favorite movie is right that day. fandom stuff. the occasional autism meme with her having a crisis in the tags like "wait doesn't everybody do this?? that's an autism thing?? are you sure?? this probably means nothing 😬". daria: has had the same anonymous wordpress blog for like 10 years, exclusively for book reviews, with like 3 regular loyal readers she has long discussions with in the comments. absolutely no social media, but checks out july's instagram regularly.

aaron: tumblr - lots of music, cute animals, funny shit. pops up every other week to rb a hundred posts in a row and then vanishes again. had a few funny popular text posts. follows tons of people. youtube & tiktok - posts music stuff, like the random weird instruments he acquired, and tutorials. bandcamp & last.fm - not exactly social media, but highly active commenting on random shit all the time

quinn: moderate instagram user - carefully curated edgy aesthetics with lots of black white photography, dead animals, cemetery shit. she's such a cliche goth lmao has a secret hard kinks tumblr, and so many people blocked.

eleonor: tumblr - posts the most incomprehensible surrealistic meta memes that nobody else gets. bugs, tech stuff. long text posts with a bunch of cited sources about their current rabbit hole. follows a lot of tags, but only a handful of people. rarely tags their own posts tho. is in some weird niche discords and subreddits where anyone else would be like "what is this FOR"

ruby: heavy instagram & facebook user, tons of family pictures, selfies, and inspirational quotes. puts way too much energy into educating her older relatives about the random bullshit they keep posting.

fia: usually randomly deletes her twitter account, comes back after a while, ramps up her activity, until it annoys her and gets too much and she deletes again, cycle repeats. gets into arguments with random idiots and afterwards is like "why didn't i just block them". maybe one day she'll learn. doomscrolls.

helena: found her niche on history/philosophy twitter and writes loooong long threads and then vanishes again for weeks. does not care for social media otherwise. used to be an active wikipedia editor but fell out of that eventually.

yeah so that one don't track. you can hide rbs but the kicker is that you can't unhide them. unclear if you didn't know or if this is more misinformation, but personally I love that your reputation with that is so bad even terfs are calling it out when by all means, it's just a stronger route to cryptoterfs' same goals

I have been using Tumblr since 2012 and have not been aware of any functionality to hide a reblog in any of those 11 years. However, your anon message made me curious - "is anon confusing replies with reblogs? I know you can delete replies" - though to be fair, I've never done that on this blog.

So I went and found one of my posts, and clicked around, and wouldn't you know it, there is a "hide note" option.

Damn! I've just been letting bigots say shit because I thought I had no ability to get rid of it. In the past it was really bad because we couldn't even stop reblogs on posts, so if an asshole said something shitty, it was (as far as I knew) there for forever and there was nothing you could do to stop it from spreading. And with the "turn off reblogs" option, things improved, but it still meant that if a bigot said something, I had to lock down the whole post even if I felt it still had a good message.

So I will say: prior to like, 60 seconds ago, I was completely unaware this was a thing I could do, therefore, I absolutely have not EVER hidden a reblog on ANY of my posts because, swear to heaven and hell, it was not a thing I knew I could do.

It's not something I see myself using for discussions with TERFs. If I don't feel like continuing a conversation, I generally just... stop reblogging the post, and sometimes block the person. But I'll definitely use it for slurs and antisemitism and stuff like that, wowie.

the account (@ hinderswives) was created 1 day ago and you can find those cat images on a reverse google search. did you get an ask from the op asking you nicely to check out the pinned post (and not to publically answer the ask)? I did, and it's the second almost identical one ive gotten in the last few months, also by an account that only existed for one day before posting the help request (who had never interacted with my blog before, either).... basically, this is 100% a scam.

They ask you to reblog their post *but not answer their ask* so that anyone who follows you thinks that you know this person is legitimate (which is exactly the opposite of the real situation). They ask you to use 'friends and family' on PayPal so you can't get your money back if you figure out it's a scam (always be suspicious of people who do this!)

i found your reblog by going through the notes on the scam post. i'm going to send this ask to other people who reblogged it, too. (in anon mode so that the scam op can't block me, which happened last time before i could get the warning out, rip).

please don't let your followers be tricked into wasting their money! there are plenty of real people and real cats that could use their help out there, if they want to be generous.

consider posting this ask too, cause a bunch of people have reblogged the scam post from you so it might be good if they see this, too.

My Team.

Knell was discovered as a baby Joltik, having been abandoned by her mother - most likely due to the Galvantula mother seeing the shiny colouration as a sign of sickness. She loves to run, constantly racing with her teammates whenever they have their daily camps - especially Teivul. She’s also the first to get excited over curry, or any food for that matter.

Náæta was found in the outskirts of Stow-On-Side, and her evolving was accidental during a camping date with Gordie - as the location to grant evolution was unknown to me at the time. She’s usually seen watching and observing from behind, seemingly either nervous or not interested in meeting new trainers. She’s widely considered the most well-trained member of the team.

Daybreaker was found as a Slowpoke after accidentally boarding a Corviknight Taxi Service, and her clear amusement at what happened is what helped me decide to catch her and add her to the team. She is quite sassy, and melodramatic at best. However, she is also very sociable - and adores when the attention is all on her.

Vēnātrīx was discovered after the law exposed an illegal breeding program taking place; I found her whilst I was helping Gym Leader Milo sort them out, and she was completely ostracised by the other Hatenna - so I took her in as my own. She is very stubborn, close to impossible to budge when she’s made her mind up. However, she also gets excited by things very easy - commonly seen with a giddy attitude.

Teivul was given to me by Dojo Master Mustard after I completed all three trials given to me, and we trained together closely for a long time. She’s usually seen meditating, training or helping me with my physical tasks. She’s very big on the idea of teamwork and friendship, and has been mistaken as my main partner Pokémon multiple times.

Enora is my starter and partner Pokémon, being found when she was a baby Applin when visiting Turffield with my grandfather and mentor: Kora. She is super bubbly and always eager to make new friends every chance she gets, commonly struggling to read the room because of this.

I got SO many gorgeous lurker confirmation asks, and wow I love you guys so much. You're way too sweet to me. Ahhhhhhh.

That being said, a lot of you had questions and I said I wouldn't rb those asks, but there were several overlapping ones anyway, so I'm just going to make one biiiiiiiggggggg post answering questions here!

How long did I lurk? Six years or so? Longer? I knew I loved whump since I was a little tiny kiddo, but didn't know there was a word for it (I feel like this is a common experience lol), and started following hero x villain things (also a common experience) that eventually lead me to the whump community. I didn't make this blog (well, the same url - it used to be a sideblog and it moved but I'm counting it) about two years ago? But I only started making my own content one year ago.

Have I ever regretted making my blog instead of lurking? Since I started this one? No. But there was a time before where I made a side blog (same url) and started making some whumpy gif sets? And I loved it and was having a nice time with no one knowing or following me, but it was immediately picked up by the kink community instead of this one. While I don't have any problem with that, I felt like I wasn't in the right place and that no one was really listening and I was getting sucked in the wrong direction, so I panicked and deleted the blog. Cut lurking again for two years before making this one.

Was I ever ashamed of whump? Um. Yes. Still kind of am (I'm working on it), but I grew up in a very religious household, and I'm an extremely kind and gentle person irl, so it felt like this horrific denial both of my faith and of myself. I read a post a year and a half ago or so that clarified the difference between fiction and reality for whump, and something about it just made the pieces fit together again for me. It wasn't long after that that I got started making my own content.

How I moved from being a reblogger to a creator? There was one prompt list (here) that I just fell in love with and had a few ideas to continue? So I did. And it got SO many more notes than I expected and I just........fell in love with it? I found I have a knack for prompt lists - much more than gif sets. So I started making prompt lists. They got popular pretty quick. Then I was challenged to do Whumptober, and I did. After that, I felt comfortable starting my own series and doing drabbles and I haven't looked back.

How many irl people know about whump/my blog? Four who I didn't meet through this. I've told three friends and my sister - all of whom took it FAR more gracefully than I expected. While whump isn't their thing, they're incredibly supportive and generally confused why I'm so embarrassed about it. Oops-

Is my whump fixation purely whump, kink, or both? Uhmmmmmmmm....I like whump. I like whump in any context. That bleeds into kink as well. I don't post NSFW things here because a lot of my readers are minors and I genuinely don't trust the tagging system to keep their sweet lovely eyes off the abominations I create asdlkf. But if I'm in an 18+ area where people are chatting, I'm more than willing to discuss it or put out ideas/content. I'm getting more comfortable with it by the day (everyone has hurtles to get over in self-acceptance - that's one of mine).

Do I use whump as an outlet for something else? I know a lot of people have turned to whump to process trauma, but that's not my story. I have loved it since forever, and my ptsd isn't something I ever want to encounter in whump. I have those tags blocked so fucking hard, I don't want to be triggered in my safe space (that's just me - everyone processes differently). But. I do find that it greatly eases my anxiety and nightmares. If I go a week or two without writing or consuming something terrifying, my anxiety doesn't really have an outlet? And it bleeds into dreams. I often have very whumpy dreams, but I don't consider them nightmares, they're just lovely. But the nightmares? Nope. Nuh-uh. Don't want. It's a very small part of why I write, but it's a lovely bonus.

As a gift to myself, one of the first things I did this morning was follow a friend’s advice to create a new rule in Outlook that automatically deleted my ticking time bomb ex’s messages since Outlook’s sends blocked people to my junk folder. The trouble with that is Outlook mistakes everything for spam, forcing me to check that damned folder regularly. This is a much better solution than deleting the account entirely not just because rerouting 10 years worth of history would be a pain in the ass, but RB was right that a ‘cannot be delivered’ auto-reply would likely fan the crazy.

I think what really scares me about yesterday’s email is that my ex has the capacity to imagine something then have an emotional reaction to his own fallacy and take real action. It was gorgeous outside, but I couldn’t shake this anxiousness, this awareness that he could be following me, walking right along side me, and I couldn’t know until he was towering over me. It’s bad enough that I’ve dated one too many unstable men, but Why do I insist on dating giants? Why do I do that? 😆

I’m very honest about my not great choices in dating. Jekyll-Hyde isn’t even the first dangerous person I’ve dated. However, my other lovers’ crazy was more that of a frantic, stray dog. Those relationships were bad news bears, but ultimately the reason I left them was because I realized I couldn’t save them, and tragically, due to various factors, nor would they likely ever be able to save themselves from drowning in the river.. Jekyll-Hyde was sweet as honey when you were in his favor, so helpful, so doting, but manipulative, venomous, calculated, and sadistic when he was displeased in a very self-justified sort of way. people think they are being helpful when they suggest that I confront him or involve the police, but in reality that would only provoke far worse than e-mails fishing for my attention...

so here I am.. keeping my head low, hoping eventually he finds something else to focus on. I really hoped once he received his inheritance he would frolic off into the sunset with his Right Wing, 1950’s princess, and live happily ever after condescending over everything as everyone together. They can even bash me together over cocktails, cracking jokes about the blind mom he slummed with for a time before he became rich as god intended. Once I hoped his mom would live forever and found it frustrating that such a narcissist would carry on further rewarded, enabled. Now I wish him all the joy in the world if it meant leaving me alone.

Fancy, that the person who answered that anon  actually saw through my motives. That’s something at least.

An anon was displeased with the fact that I - maybe someone else - reblogged fixed by IH arter Kubo’s pic with Ichigo and Kazui, by adding Orihime there.

Yes, I am forever anti Ichihime. But let me remind you again: I am Ulquihime shipper in the first place, I love Orihime just as much I love Ulquiorra. 

Just in case you didn’t notice: that I draw Orihime way more often than Ichigo and Rukia.

Again, you can’t analyze UH without IH, especially because it was so one-sided, and, with the Unmasked chapter, you can see the core of it all.

And if somebody, doesn’t really matter ir or ih - doing the god’s work, making justice for the character I like, fixing the shit Kubo is doing to the character I love - I’ll appreciate the hell out of it.

Another thing is, what was my mistake, reblogging the art can make that IH arter getting under the possible IR fans... pressure again, for supporting Kubo’s IH ending. That arter did some good work fixing Kubo’s mess when it came to Orihime, and as a person who likes Orihime - I appreciate that a lot.

So I need to apologize for all the trouble and discomfort I may cause.

I shall also remind some people, that I see canon ending in a different way:

As Yhwach said, there’s a whole bunch of timelines. So it’s possible to imagine a good timeline for any ship, that developed maybe under different circumstances.

I do not reblog Kubo’s vision, still, I reblogged the fan’s vision, which is way kinder to Orihime than her creator’s. 

Unfortunately I found one more reason to dislike IH again when I was looking through HM arc, and it’s kinda... quite disturbing one. I really thought I could leave it all behind, but apparently Kubo does anything to mess it even more.

That all made me delete the rb post. 

I may sound like a freaking hypocrite, and I bet, I do, but I did that not to please the wankers.

Again, I am UH shipper in the first place, which means, like not only the relationship, but characters too, whatever are the reasons. I got them as my headder, lmao! 

I might be anti of Ichigo and Orihime “love” relationship, but it’s not me who is anti Orihime.
