Role swap AU designs (and some minor details about them) inspired by this post right here that got me brainrotting for the past five hours.

In this AU Kakavasha sees no difference between the Harmony and the Order #Because he only really believes in his own culture's deity and Gaiathra seems like a combination of both to him #That being said since he's the one with the trial of harmony inflicting powers in this universe he calls upon his deity when he chants #Also the halo thing with spikes around his neck is Gopher Wood's doing #Like he was looking for a halovian child to inflict the Order upon the people right? so he's upset Kakavasha is not halovian #Even though he quite literally has Ena's eyes. Gopher has to push his halo supremacy agenda somehow #As for Lazuli #He and Robin barely survived the Stellaron crisis and their close proximity to it affected them #He gets golden feathers and Stellaron shaped halo. speaking of veilguard kind of going nowhere. i am so mad over there being no in depth epilogue. at least tell me what happens to the factions that are being led/guided by people rook influenced !!!!!! all these companions have obvious obligations outside of the veilguard, and they're all dedicated to the lives they lived before they joined this team, so of course they would go back. what effect did bellara deciding to keep the archive have on the elves? neve decides to protect dock town by any means necessary, so what does that mean for a blighted minrathous? everything to do with harding and the titans ????!!!! and solas just accepts being trapped because he's been 'outplayed' DO NOT MAKE ME LAUGH!!!! somebody has got to tell me what happens after the world gets 'saved' because the south in chaos, minrathous almost destroyed and the last of the elven gods being dead is like. crazy. and the companions just commenting things i already know is really not cutting it for me

#not even like. including the fact i thought the romances were primed to go worse #davrin + short warden lifespan + hesitation + guilt #lucanis + family obligation + first talon + long distance + dorian style 'i have to leave' speech #neve + cynicism + refusal to commit + unable to picture a life for herself that doesn't include losing loved ones #and how a rook's backstory would change that. a veil jumper who refuses to leave arlathan because their history means so much to them #clashing with davrin who barely thinks of himself as being dalish anymore #it was so clear to me. go girl give us nothing #i am being quite mean because there are things i adored in veilguard. especially with companion to companion relationships #neve-bellara i think is a good example of this. where you see them meet early and then continue to look out for each other #how blood of arlathan is kind of primed for you to take both of them which adds to this idea that they are close #so there can be good writing its just bogged down by a lot of other things. augh #dav spoilers #dav #dragon age spoilers #txt

i can't with all these "the show is highlighting tommy's jealousy, they're planting seeds that it will cause problems" takes like bffr. he mentioned being envious over the 118's dynamic twice, sure, but in what world (literally how?) would that cause a relationship problem? do yall expect him to be in cahoots with gerrard behind their back and murder buck to take over his life or something?? like even with the hyperbole aside, i genuinely cannot see how they can turn this into relationship drama without going against everything they showed us with tommy so far

#he literally reassured buck about his relationships in that first scene he's fine with it #he asked how buck was doing about bobby because again he KNOWS (he literally has eyes & was there to witness buck save bobby from the ship)#how much bobby means to him like do yall think 6 months into their relationship he will be unable to deal with this and what? demand buck #not be so close with them?#or that he will want to be a part of that too and buck (who in turn reassured him about this in 7x04) will be like #“uhm babe you wanting to be friends with my friends is giving me the ick?”#like whats the logic here #i'll eat my words if 911 can spin this as relationship drama i will #but im also certain this is not going the way you guys think it will #if anything the most logical follow up to this is tommy connecting with these people more as he desires and it being a good thing for both #tommy's character and bucktommy's relationship #ok rant over #911 #bucktommy #tevan #kinley #edit: the only think i can think of is if he feels neglected bc say buck needs to make time for someone else but even that doesn't make #sense because buck NEVER neglected his love interests and tommy is literally friends with all these ppl to a degree so he'd arguably #understand it more than any of his exes (none of whom had any problems with buck #'s relationships within the 118)#i think you're just ignoring the context of these scenes because they paint the bigger picture of tommy being fully accepting of these #relationships so unless something changes drastically (an external thing making him feel insecure about it/buck going too ooc and #neglecting his significant other entirely etc.) i dont see how this can be a problem #mimi.txt

#mine.art #leowook #hes still a penny world of gumball rippoff inhabiting a doll just a Little bit more thought out this time #his ''tattoos'' are the same magic ink as the one used for his talisman #he can erase them whenever he wants but doesnt see a reason to do that rn #hes also ambidextruous which is why neither of his tattoos look like scrawls #he only really tattoos the underside of his arms so if theres any tattoos on the upper side its cause of other ppl #his right arm has no upper side arm tattoos cause the apo were never close in the first place #and minute is too hesitant to start randomly drawing on leo's arm despite how close they became #and clown doesnt really think about it so he only really tattoos leo when he sees other ppl do it first #he also has leg tattoos but i cant really think of a design for them #several of his ''body parts'' have been replaced but his headand left hand is still the original #he can copypaste things using the ink since its basically an enchantment so hes not too worried about losing his tattoos #but he cant replace the wound he made during the mob blood pact so its staying there #he hasnt changed his head cause of a combination of laziness and being unable to find a replacement he likes

"It's normal for siblings to fight" Okay well it's not normal to be extremely classist and look down on your sister for being non-conforming. Or to go to the woman who ordered the death of your pet to tell her about your father's plans, when he specifically warned you against doing so, because you want to marry the boy you saw attack your sister and her friend (contributing partially to said father's death and your sister being unable to escape on the ship he chartered). Or to think of your sibling as unsatisfactory in comparison to another when you believe her to be dead. I notice that none of the "Sansa and Arya are going to reunite and instantly have no issues" crowd ever acknowledge any of this, which makes it seem like they don't actually believe what they say about their relationship being normal and easily reconciled. People wanting them to have no issues simply because they're siblings is another example of how fandom likes to flatten complex characters and relationships. They get reduced to being bickering siblings when their conflict runs deeper than that. If the author is telling you that they have "deep issues" to work out [X], I don't understand being so adamant about ignoring said issues. I also get the sense it's about ignoring the capacity for a certain character to be flawed, but that isn't going to change the fact that her "slip of the tongue" is very likely to be revealed and a source of further conflict 🤷🏾‍♀️

Having to micromanage your entire physical battery day in and day out is so exhausting, especially when your ability fluctuates without rhyme or reason with every single day. I'm starting to have to reframe how I view and tackle my task lists because otherwise the grief and frustration becomes so much that I get nothing done. I'd love to complete the entire list today, but I'm gonna have to limit myself to ticking off two tasks just so I don't burn myself out to the point of being unable to do anything later...

#and even then thats no guarantee since i could feel super sick later without warning #OR maybe i feel superdupergood and can do them all no problem and THEN some #but then i also have to prepare for being bedridden after if i dont keep track of how much energy i burn #the event horizon of which ALSO changes daily lmfao #meanwhile people assume youre lucky or even privileged for this #as if being homebound for your safetys sake and spending most of the time being unable to really do anything #is anything worth envying. people assume youre resting when frankly youre just keeping your face above the water #i dont have a choice either. i gave up all my dreams and ambitions just for the sake of trying to survive for once #i WANT to have a life i WANT to have the power to be independent and not be at the mercy of others until the day i die #god sorry URGH its so hard to not feel sad and hopeless and almost bitter about this sometimes #its so hard not to feel alienated and embarrassed by the fact that you practically live in a different reality to people #people whose lives revolve around careers and working to the point where they cant comprehend you as a disabled individual #and what that means beyond the assumption that being chronically ill and overall impaired is a choice and moral failire #whether or not people are aware of that baseline assumption concretely #and i feel stupid and annoying for whining about this when i have so much to be grateful for #just. guhhhhhhhhh idfk. i SHOULD get started here but i can barely move out of bed #exhaustion is killing me i miss going on daily walks my house feels like a prison #i need to stop moping im already spiralling lmfao #trying not to close my eyes lest i pass out yet again despite having gotten more than 12 hours of sleep #cause apparently to my stupid body thats not enough to even stand up #silvi talks

man I can't wait to spend new years eve having an argument with the laptop support people /s

#so I tried to contact them today to yknow. get my dumb laptop fixed. and they're like #'well first we need to troubleshoot it' so we do a remote control of my laptop thing so they can troubleshoot #and then I accidentally closed something and then they just. abandoned me. so I stopped the control thing and tried to contact someone Agai #and they were like 'oh well it's just how those models are made it's just the specs they're just not fast laptops' and like #yeah uh. I fucking doubt that randomly getting much slower than they used to be + having the fan whirring CONSTANTLY + the laptop always #being Warm at best + lagging whenever I do literally anything + having a CPU level of 60% at MINIMUM + unable to even have two browser tabs #open without it crashing just suddenly Start Happening one day and then get worse and worse over time is just 'part of the specs'#LIKE. APOLOGIES BUT I JUST DON'T BELIEVE YOU #I DONT THINK THATS 'JUST NORMAL LAPTOP BEHAVIOR'#so tomrrow I'm gonna have to do a PHONE CALL and probably beg them to fucking FIX IT ALREADY #because they said they fixed this last time! and they didnt!! and then I had to wait for AGES for the warranty to go back into place!!#AND SO THEY'D BETTER FUCKING FIX IT THIS TIME

#OF MONSTERS AND MEN: musings.#YOUR NEED GREW TEETH: character study.#barton's love being an all-consuming thing but also being a violent thing is... well very him as unfortunate and/or frightening as that-#might sound. because even if you are just friends with him i feel as if since barton self-sabotages a LOT more often than you may think-#and makes split-decision decisions that really aren't good whenever you actually take a moment to reflect on how much harm they'll cause-#versus how much good. so you're kind of screwed... and i'm not sure i've said this before BUT one of the key characteristics of someone who #is that they are impulsive and unable to see in other people's points of view on an emotional level. so if he thinks up something that be b #will make someone's life better / easier then he WILL do it even if it actually isn't benign.#and whenever he actually discovers that what he did was incredibly messed up then it'll already be too late-#because he already destroyed his relationship with them / showed them his true colors. and that is that being close to barton could very-#well mean danger for them. because even to people that he loves barton can often be cruel to them and express this in ways that are just-#not easily understandable to anyone except him.

one thing about me is that I'm never not gonna be obsessed with soulmates as a horror concept

#like. there's just so much there #not even in a 'state mandated partner' way but in a 'i need to be close to you on a deep gut level that i have no control over even if i #don't like you or we make each other unhappy'#like the idea of having someone who's 'made' for you or you being 'made' for someone else and how horrifying that would be when you really #get down to it is just so compelling to me on a thematic and narrative level. you can't be happy with them but you also can't be happy #without them and they feel the exact same way so you're just trapped in each other's orbit unable to move closer or farther away #because even if you do love them and like them...do you really? is it you or is it the compulsion? is it them as they are or them as they #exist for you in this position?#your autonomy is so deeply compromised that yes AND no are both on some level meaningless #or maybe they die before you meet them so then you're stuck with an ingrained need for someone you've never met and never will. you can't #really grieve them because you don't know them but you also can't just let them go because it's wired into you to care so there's #literally nothing you can do to process this and you're just stuck #idk man it's just so miserable i can't get over it
