“Hey there, little lady.”

Chloe flinched violently and spun around to face the voice, chin held high, eyes blazing. Anyone who dared approach a girl– WOMAN, she reminded herself– as young as her and talk to them like this late at night in a place like… well, here, a half-abandoned side street– couldn’t be up to any good.

Unfortunately, her fears turned out to be founded as soon as she took in the profile of the voice. An adult man. Quite a bit taller than her, not exactly stacked but not a lanky little man either, with the sharp of a nasty looking knife pointed directly at her face.

His eyes glinted as she clenched her fists at him and tried to calm the stuttering in her chest, tried to come out of the shaking spiral and the tunnel vision and deep breathing she'd been doing right before he announced himself. 

…Okay, so she may not have been paying attention to her surroundings. At all. In a bad part of town. At night. But Marcus was pissing her off saying it wasn't her fault that she couldn't have saved Stan earlier, so… she ran. And he called after her, but she slammed him back with her power, and she kept running.

And he didn't catch her.

So this was all his fault, really…

Nevertheless, she glared at her assailant. And his knife. “I wouldn't, if I were you,” she hissed, lowering her voice as intimidating as she possibly could, ignoring the way her heart skipped a beat and the pang of fear weaving it's way through her stomach. She tried to discreetly wipe away the wetness running down her cheeks. 

The man just laughed.

“Oh, don't worry your pretty little head about it, I don't want to do any of uh…” he glanced up and down the entirety of Chloe's body. “That. Lucky you. Just hand over your wallet. Or any other valuables, really, pretty girl like you looks like she’s got loads of daddy’s money. Sure you could spare a couple hundred.”

She could lay this clown out on the pavement right here and now, if she wanted to. But never ever use your powers on someone unless it is life or death. Never let anyone know you have a power, never put yourself in a situation where you'd need to even use your powers, unless you want to end up like Mom and Dad. And me. 

Yeah, Stan. She knew. And he didn't listen to his own advice, and now he was captured again too…

Chloe pursed her lips with a huff at the thought, and tried to shove past the robber, but he moved in front of her, blocking her way. She tried again, blocked again, pushed back, attempted sidestep turned stumble back as she tried to keep away from the man and the glinting knife in a horrid dance of rising adrenaline and growing nerves. Before she knew it, he had flanked her, cornering her with her back to a dark alley. 

She bared her teeth at him. “Fuck you! Get out of my way!”

“Woah, now,” his easy smile disappeared, head tilting at her with narrowed eyes. “Didn’t they teach you that sharing is caring when you were at kindergarten today?”

“I'm not– Get away from me or you’ll regret it,” Chloe spat back. Her muscles shook with the tension, and for a moment she could swear she saw red. You could crush this idiot without thought. 

But don't.

“Just give me the money and I will. I know your brain’s not fully developed, but it really is that simple. Plus I really don’t want to hurt a preschooler if I don’t have to.” 

“I’M NOT A PRESCHOOLER!” she shouted, throwing clenched fists out behind her, throwing her full body into yelling at the man, making herself look bigger, trying to make him leave her alone.

The man clenched his jaw at the ferocity of her words, amusement giving way to slight anger before his gaze settled on her angry fists and transformed his demeanor entirely into one of shock and disbelief.

“You–...” he panted, eyes flicking up and down her form again. “You're glowing.”

NO.

Chloe's face went white as she tore her gaze downward and only now noticed the powerful blue glow. It extinguished immediately and she stumbled backward, back hitting the wall of the alleyway with a slight oomph and nearly making her scream.

“No, I’m not!”

 But it was too late. 

You need to learn to control your powers. Yes, Stan, she knew! So why did he get captured before he could teach her everything?!

Tears pricked at her eyes.

Why did he have to get captured? She wouldn't be here if he weren't captured, she just wanted her big brother–

“You have powers." The man's extraordinary observation skills ripped her back to the present. "Holy shit, man, that’s…”

Then his gaze settled to her elbow. Where a hero brand would be, if she had one. Oh no. She grabbed at clutched at the exposed skin of her elbow and held it behind her, taking a defensive position, teeth bared. “Yeah, I have powers. Now let me go before I decide to use them on you.”

“Use them on me?” He scoffed. “How old are you again?”

“None of your beeswax!”

“Because if you're too young to have the brand…” a hunger glinted in his eyes. “Oh, this changes things.”

“What–?”

“Do you know how much money a little super without a marking could be worth?! We could wait a bit, turn you in for evading, or– God, I know some people who would go crazy–”

Life or death.

Run.

She sprinted, screaming as loud as she could, straight past him, ran, she needed help, she needed Marcus, she needed Stan she needed help someone to help her anyone she didn't want to be kidnapped–

The back of her shirt caught and yanked her fully back–

“NO STAN HELP–!”

– choking her briefly before slamming her right back into the alleyway wall. The air knocked out of her lungs, and yet she still struggled against the fist curled and pinning the fabric of her shirt against the wall. That is, until she felt the sharp tip of the knife pressing into her stomach. And she froze, staring up into her assailant's eyes.

Life or death.

Life or death??

“LET ME GO!!” she screeched in a blind panic, squirming and kicking and screaming until the man let go of her shirt to slap his hand over her mouth instead, and even then she didn't stop.

“Quiet down, now, unless you want a new hole in your goddamn stomach,” he hissed, pressing the knife even harder against her, the deadly edge painfully close to breaking fabric and flesh. The world around her blurred, a sort of blue lightning crackling up inside of her, overtaking her entire body. “I’m not gonna be outsmarted by some kid. I know if your power were actually useful, you’d’ve used it by now. Which means It’s all the better for a show. So you’re not getting away because you're a tiny as shit preteen who will do whatever I say because I can and will do whatever the fuck I want to you–”

LIFE OR DEATH!!

A flash of bright blue light filled the dingy alley. As Chloe's powers concentrated in her hands, then threw out and created a force strong enough to slam the head of the man attacking her to the side.

THUNK!!

The man shuddered and lurched backward. The knife dropped away from her stomach, leaving a small hole in the shirt where it had almost bore into her. And the hand finally fell away, but suddenly she didn't feel the need to scream.

On the contrary. She stared frozen at his zombie-esque form as he staggered and fell to his knees, muttering incoherently, looking at her with angry, unseeing eyes and shaking body.

Then pause.

Then he collapsed the the ground in a shuddering heap, muttering nonsense.

She stared.

She did that.

Her power did that.

She did that.

Oh crap, she did that…

Adrenaline dumped into her system, and she sprinted off into the night.

i hc all the shepards to have undiagnosed autism but i never talked about their (rlly never only talked about tim and angela) special interest so here it goes

tim- i can see him having a special interest in like chemistry or biology, or history to be honest w u, the reason why ppl dont see him as being autistic is 1) hes black and black ppl tend to go undiagnosed for that sorta thing lol and 2) hes doesnt fit the “stereotypical guy w autism”, it that makes sense, he doesnt rlly rant about his interest, he doesnt have his whole room decorated w his interest or anything like that, he doesnt fit that mold so ppl just think hes not autistic

curly- horror and insects, ppl dont recognize him as autistic bc once again, black ppl just tend to get misdiagnosed bc of racism and a whole bunch of stuff like that, but i will say this, if u r neurodivergent and spent time w him, youd definitely notice that he is absolutely not neurotypical, he isnt even rlly masking or anything like that, ppl just dont recognize him as being autistic bc he is black

angela- i dont have a SPECIFIC idea of what her special interest is, but i always imagined that it was something that was “stereotypically girly” bc w her she has that added obstacle of being an autistic black girl, so 1) once again black ppl not rlly recognized for being autistic bc of racism but also 2) any thing she does that she does bc shes autistic is often written off as her being a “teenage girl”, like if shes overstimulated ppl just go “oh shes just being moody, u know how teenage girls are” and when it comes to her special interest ppl are like “shes a teen girl of course shes interested in xyz” yknow???

I'm gonna share my switched au with you 😤 namely the first half of it !!! (since ik Nyx has written a little bit of the second half so I'm gonna keep the details of that more of a secret hehe)

The premise of the switched au is more or less swapping the plots/ideas of the two seasons! So the odyssey dads get a teen coming of age adventure and the kiddads have to go on a rescue mission through Faerun to save their kids (the s2 teens but a little bit younger)!!

I came up with this AU a long time ago and obviously didn't know how season 2 would play out so the odyssey dads adventure goes a LOT more off the script and I think its a lot of fun tehehe

It starts off with Darryl, Glenn, Ron, and Mercedes (shes a main character here 😤) being put together for a group project on a field trip, and accidentally getting sucked through a portal to Faerun! Simultaneously, Hen has decided to run away from Oakvale and has JUST managed to sneak outside of the borders when BAM a bunch of inter dimensional teens show up.

They don't exactly get off on the best foot at first, I actually drew Hen and Mercedes first meeting here bc its SO FUN LOL but eventually Hen agrees to help them find a way back home (leaving out the fact that it's because he's on the run from HIS home.)

I came up with teenage Hen's personality before I got a taste of it in the liveshow but I was ON CLOUD NINE when we found out his canon personality specifically because of this au LMAO EMO TEEN HEN IS CANON NOW BABEYYYY

He's also like, freshly cracked egg in the sense that he's just realized he's trans so it's very fun thinking about how Mercedes (who's already socially transitioned) helps him out :3c In general hencedes is so damn cute in this AU !!!!! She's the first one to crack his moody broody persona by making him laugh himself silly over a dumb pun she made.

Also find Hen and Glenn's dynamic to be fucking hilarious. Bros will be bros who kick absolute ass and smoke weed together and maybe kiss sometimes. Yk all things you do with the homies 😎

There's just SO DAMN MUCH within this AU even with it being split into two parts I feel like I can't get into it all without this post being a mile long LMAO but all the other (future) spouses are involved even Terry Sr., the main villain is Bear'ry BUT Willy IS ALSO THERE. Because he died when Ron was in middle school and he's in highschool in this ! So while he's not AS powerful as in canon he's still definitely a problem they have to deal with.

The part I enjoy the most in this half of the au though is DEFINITELY the group dynamics. It's delightful 🥺 I know I've mostly talked about Henry's relationships but that's cause I'm biased LMAO there's a lot of other stuff going on like Ron bonding with Samantha and Terry over the phone in another dimension and Morgan forming a club to search for the missing teens because she's realized no one is giving a fuck about Ron and Glenn, there's the whole thing with Darryl and Carol being soo early in their relationship and having this massive distance put between them, not even mentioning TEENAGE JODIE.... THERE'S SO MUCH.

But if I were to simplify it down to the main five group dynamic, it's Ron saying he's kinda hungry and Darryl goes to grab some of their rations, Glenn is holding a piece of bread and Hen is using his flaming sword to toast it while Mercedes is making a special jam recipe with some random magic forest berries and Darryl comes back to this all and goes OH MY FUCKING GOD WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING ???!?!????

AIGHT im back and i did the reading and i need to know e v e r y t h i n g about the naruto au im not even fucking around. the amount of times ive fixated on that shit despite never finishing it is unreal. also which one was the one that got beheaded? because thats superb shit and i require more information to rotate them in my mind

i'll start with eden !!! he's my token white haired guy (altho i have also a white haired girl in the same group of oc lol) to whom i do many terrible things. ever since i created him he's had a scenario where his neck got hurt (electric shock to his neck, knife injury, beheading to simply head explosiong lmao). he's an angel in the angel/demon scenario and the village's doctor in the farm au :3 he's always some sort of healer ! (he's that one "im a healer but... *cocks gun*" meme)

in the angel au he has extraordinary healing powers that antagonists want for themselves until they realise eden is not gonna give under the pressure and side with them so they behead him/make his head explode. not quite sure whcih one yet <3. except he doesn't die bc his power is more. body manipulation than healing and it acts by itself and stitch him back together . its a very traumatizing process but in return he destroys the other guys : D he's often nell's best friend in aus... moody guys who become menaces together. he was supposed to end up w jasper when i very first made him but eh !!!

THE NARUTO AU

okay so . disclaimer most of what i know of naruto is memories from what i watched when i was a young teen and a lot of sakura centered fanfics ive read the past few months lol

the story focus on on genin team but for the sake of the story ill jst go and talk abt the others too :

a) main genin team is nell, vik, lena and their teacher abel

b) second genin team is belly, jasper and eden with their teacher noah

c) cody is basically tsunade, titania is a civilian from a noble family who has a whole side story with lena lol

nell and belly (twins) are illegitimate kids from a clan's girl, who possess the clan's kekkei genkai. no i dont know what it is yet it's not even relevant to the story SEFJSEFOSFJOE

once their mother die they're put under the care of their mother's clan, where they're not rly treated well,,,, belly is a natural as using the clan's technic while nell isn't,,, they stick together but they're treated different and it sucks. tbh nell and belly's ways of dealing with family trauma is a recurring theme in all of the universes they're part of...

nell's fighting style focus on ice jutsu mostly, he's not a powerhouse but he's deadly. belly is more of a brawler type but i havent figured it out much yet :]

vik is an orphan who was groomed into roots (in universe it's a secret unit of ninjas like anbu but it's controlled by danzou who's a fucker and stole kekkei genkai including sharingans by STEALING DEAD PEOPLE'S EYES), who want's belly & nell's clan's kekkei genkai, and who's sent to pass as a new genin in nell's team to gain his trust and kill him and take his eyes,,, theres prob something going on to take belly's also but i havent gotten that far lol

lena (my BABYGIRL) is a civilian, born from a big player merchant family, who's supposed to inherit her parent's role but does Not want to :] she's lovely she's great she has a lot of chakra that she uses for summons (tigers!!!) and also she IS a powerhouse (uses . axes). not the most usefull of spy missions lol i love her <3

abel, in most of my stories, is a big brother figure to most of the kids especially nell,,,, i have not figured out yet what exaclty he does in this au BUT he and cody are old buddies and are destined to be together in all of my aus. anyway

quick other stuff, belly is very angry in hte beginning like her brother and does not know how to work with a team, jasper is kind and gentle and has to learn how to deal with her, also later masters mokuton (tree/plants jutsu) (which makes him very precious and rare), eden is once again a healer in this except he also works with poisons. bitch

and their teacher, noah, also works in torture and interrogation which will come up later.

basically the story follows nell's team as they meet and start working with each other, vik realising that maybe he's doing something that he shouldn't, almost kills nell once when infiltrating his living place but manages to get out when he hears belly coming in, discovers the power of friendship, then they're sent in the death forest for their chunin exam, antagonist guy sends more roots agents bc vik can't do the job, vik protects nell and lena, spills as much of the beans as he can before the seal in his throat starts to paralyze him, nell holds on to him for dear life and fights the other roots, lena gets one of her summoned tiger to go find eden and his team who save the day & also vik...

once vik is saved he cooperated with t&i and noah, who works on the case, adopts him,,, all is well. its not much . i feel like i had more thoughts lmao but its all messy in my head <3 thank u for reading

OTHER DETAILS !!! :D I aswell have been thinking abt this nonstop it was so fucking hilarious

-Baby Darryl and Paeden get into a little scuffle since Paeden keeps calling him too much of a baby to want to kill Tilt and baby Darryl is STRONG

-he twists Paeden's arm with a baby rattle and Paeden concedes that even though the dads are itty bitty now they are in fact still in charge

-also Matt's baby Darryl voice reminded me of Link and then we ALSO got the original s2 Link voice later

-Freddie's baby Glenn voice was referred to at Cartman from South Park

-Beth also gave Ron a bit of a higher pitch which was very fun, but when he was a teen his voice was cracking SO MUCH in every sentence it was hilarious

-Baby Henry sounded the exact same. TEEN HENRY HOWEVER. immaculate. a bit lower and with a moody emo drawl with a dash of pretension

-The baby dads go back and try to use a chewy key chain toy to open the door, but Darryl Glenn and Ron all roll to enjoy chewing on them

-Baby Darryl is described as being three times the size of an average baby. hes a hefty boy

-Freddie is obsessed with making baby Glenn do a blade pose he does it three times almost in a row

-Specifically the bag Tilt thinks shes trapped in is a Trader Joes bag, and we find out Anthony has the ability to instantly say some words backwoods?? He did a perfect rendition of seoJ redarT

-Darryl specifically tried to use the toilet water to baptize himself. Henry waterbended it to help him but went off on a too long tangent about how all religions and lack of are valid and actually we should all love each other regardless- and Anthony cut them off much to Darryl's despair

-CANNOT EXPRESS ENOUGH HOW FUCKING WILD THE CROWD WENT OVER THE TEENS BEING DESCRIBED IN THE DETENTION ROOM

-Glenn and Taylor immediately got along, they tried to predator high five each other and then missed bc of a bad roll

-Normal literally walks up to Henry's desk and starts out with "Hey Grandpa- !" and Henry literally shushes him so that he can brood in peace

-I'm pretty sure Will spends more time describing Henry's intricately detailed faerun journal than on Norm and Henry's first conversations it's hilarious and also a little bit sad

-Everyone including Tilt calls Link a narc for telling on the other teens for talking about weed. He hoped tattling would mean he gets to leave early but that is not the case

-Darryl tries to talk to Henry and asks him if he plays any sports. Henry just replies "No, I walk." in the most duh tone ever. im still losing my shit over emo teen Henry can you tell

-When Normal starts going apeshit Will specifically says "Normal Oak once again feeling like all the adults have failed and all his friends can’t be trusted-"

-NORM WANTS OUT OF THIS ROOM HE CANNOT STAND IT HERE

-Tilt's monologue before Darryl throws a football at her face and boos her is about how she never had a family growing up so she deaged them so she could have a family essentially

-When Link manages to escape and leave everyone behind he shouts "PEACE OUT FUCKERS!!!!"

-After Normal fails to highfive Link he literally is just in a miserable heap on the ground for like the entire rest of the show

-He rolled a nat 1 to save from being blinded by the fireworks so you can imagine why

-When everybody is saying their goodbyes to their grandkids Link is already gone so Darryl is like Wow he was a narc.

-towards the end of the detention scene someone in the crowd yells "What about Hermie???" unfortunately I don't think the crew heard or it was too late to add him

-Freddie actually gave away his do or dice tour guitar to someone in the crowd! They rolled dice to determine who it was it was very cool as someone who was actually kinda close to getting it lol

okay since they said that the san diego show is gonna be the only one Not recorded, i'll do my best to summarize the show for y'all!!!

-glenn's dad fact: the glenn close trio instagram (? i think?) is full of pictures of glenn standing next to a picture of the real glenn close

-darryl's dad fact: he and carol go to san diego very frequently because darryl likes the breweries and carol likes surfing! they have not "had sex" there once, but they HAVE made love (statements that made me cringe out loud)

-henry's dad fact: he and mercedes make a fake san diego burrito for themselves and the twins. it sounds awful.

-ron's dad fact: he thinks san diego is a type of eggo waffle

-the prompt that we rolled was called DADDY BABIES. the plotline? the dads (and paeden) went to the dimensional witch tilt toblerona to ask her to give them the strength of their youth back so they could find their kids. instead, tilt turned them into babies.

-the dads still have all of their memories of who they are as people and they can talk to themselves and to paeden (tilt does not understand them though, tilt only hears baby noises) but physically Being a baby affects their mental state just a bit

-ron wanted to stay a baby forever. henry tried to explain the concept of ageplay to him, darryl got confused thinking that ron just wanted to HAVE a baby like with samantha, henry had to explain fetishes

-during the baby section, henry is the most "adult" and ends up having to corral the others. darryl is a close second, but glenn and ron both Suffer Immensely

-while tilt is making. applesauce? the babies scheme on how to escape, involving an elaborate scheme in which henry uses mold earth on playdoh to make fake versions of themselves blue in the face and choking in a plastic bag and ron throwing his voice to sound like a baby crying. beth made the worst fake crying noise ever but then also gave us an INSANE dolphin noise when anthony called her out on it

-(also the dads had to roll object permanence to see if they thought tilt was gone forever when she was out of their line of sight. glenn failed this check very badly. darryl even played peekaboo with him to demonstrate object permanence and it failed. anthony made a horrible horrible joke that glenn's not a bad parent he just has bad object permanence even when it comes to nick)

-somehow this works? they trap tilt toblerona (glenn using illusory mind prison to make tilt think SHES the one choking on a plastic bag, henry casting stone wall on her to build a lego wall around her and effectively cask of amontillado-ing her) and then wander around the house looking for a way out.

-they realize they need tilt's key to escape, but first they watch an episode of bluey! henry is the only one who saved on a roll to Not be sucked into watching bluey and ends up unplugging the TV and going on a tangent about how screentime is bad

-(which is really fucking funny because he very explicitly says "lark and sparrow are well behaved because we set boundaries and have them play outside instead of using screens" and we all know how lark and sparrow are like. not???? not well behaved. henry im so sorry to break this to you but they are not well behaved-)

-anyways they get back to tilt, find and steal her key, and then open the door, promptly getting sucked through dimensions

-(darryl thinks for a second that he's in the rapture and tries to baptize himself in case his baby form isn't baptized. henry tries to help but goes on another tangent and they miss the opportunity)

-when they awaken, they find themselves now as teenagers in a classroom! and they see a GOTH PUNK SEEKER OF DARKNESS (phrases that made the entire crowd erupt in screaming, myself included)

-this time, darryl is the most stable of the dads! glenn coming in second, and then ron and henry were both. very teenager.

-darryl immediately offers to play ball with link. link is interested but ultimately gets shot down by tilt, who explains that they are in interdimensional detention forever

-glenn and taylor immediately bond over how cool they are

-scary asks ron if she can copy his math homework because he seems smart with a tie. ron agrees to let her but is very nervous about it (we later find out this is because he is not very good at math)

-teenage henry is a fucking delight yall. he sits there staring out the window at the trees and writing poetry (with long hair! long hair teenage hen is real!!!) about the trees and enjoying nature

-scary has to roll not to fall in love with him the second she finds out that he writes poetry (she fails)

-normal tries to bond with his grandfather. henry brushes him off entirely. its heartbreaking and also hilariously funny

-normal goes fucking apeshit yall. he gets so fed up of henry ignoring him and the others not talking to him and being trapped in this small room that he takes a crossbow and threatens tilt with it. she calls his bluff and he SHOOTS HER?

-at least, he tries. she catches the bolt and then tells him that if he's serious he needs to actually stab the bolt into her heart himself. he does. he's unhinged.

-tilt tries to explain her entire sob story backstory. darryl interrupts to boo her and call her a loser.

-glenn and taylor throw a desk out of the window to break it open. going out the window Will Kill You.

-ron paints the window like a slip and slide to try and trick tilt into going into it. it doesn't work. however two guards come in and it DOES work on one of the guards

-the other guard eventually gets physically thrown out of the window by taylor, who proudly declares that this will not affect him at all

-henry goes to talk to scary. scary gets excited, but then henry just asks if she thinks that teen darryl would go out with henry because even though he's "not henry's type", something about him is captivating. scary is heartbroken.

Oh oh I don't remember on which post this was but we were talking about bullied Riven and you mentioned teachers loving him, and while I always HC-ed that most teachers hated his guts it actually makes more sense your way??? Like those people deal with spoiled little shits all day every day. They have to make soldiers out of boys that were mostly pampered their whole lives. They'd LOVE a moody gremlin child that never saw an ounce of privilege in his life except pretty privilege. Lol. I feel like Riven, on top of that stuff, takes all the lessions really seriously bc he's actually been in real fights and super dangerous situations before so he understands how important what their talking about is

S1 opinions are mixed. Half of the teachers think it's funny that Riven keeps kicking the shit out of these pampered brats, the other half sees him as a headache that causes way too much paper work

S2 and onward tho Riven is DEFINITELY the favorite student. He's still moody and has an attitude but he's less likely to cause a nightmare of paperwork now, and his attitude is low key refreshing bc its born out of experience in dangerous situations and not plain over confidence

Plus?? Riven's skills in making it out of cloud tower shows that after two years he really HAS been listening to EVERYTHING his teachers say and their not crying, they just have some in their eyes. Riven gets put into the accelerated course or something bc they wanna see this boy THRIVE

So, let’s really get things moving, Meet Roger Welsh :))) The NYRARACHELLE Plays. channel hasn’t even got this exclusive, yet! 

Honestly, Roger Welsh is a random sim I made for Krystle because she truly didn’t like any one in the game -__- ! Like I tried with multiple Sims and the chemistry and attractiveness was just NOT there, like ever, so I said you know, I’ll just create the perfect man for Krystle and see what happens...& there comes, Mr. Roger Welsh, my short king! 

He’s a military brat from Del Sol (but at this point, Krystle doesn’t realize this yet bc they met as mutuals on a Mt. Komo vacation...). He comes from a pretty stable, interracial, two-parent household, but they moved a lot and his parents expect a lot. They currently reside in Strangerville for Mr. Welsh’s career. Roger’s mom, Justine, is a professor and his little sister, a typical moody teen.

So, it was a journey with his art taking the industry by storm, as a freelancer, to keep up with a degree, he didn’t even need (his words, not mine lol).  Nonetheless, making his parents VERY proud, he just recently graduated from Britechester with an Honors degree in Art History (check!) to further support his largely recognized talent in painting (check! That’s one of Krystle’s hidden talents, as well!). His art even just bought him his very own, interior-designed condo in the San My Spice District (check, bc he’s got a nice bag to go along with that work ethic AND talent!)

And as I mentioned, he’s quite young--definitely younger than Krystle--which is why I think she doesn’t really take notice of him in the same way he does of her. He did already manage to get in her drawls though and honestly, he couldn’t be more interested in her, still! Although, he keeps it quite lowkey and cool when it comes to a lot of things, even with her. That’s just his personality (check, again!). He might be a bit short to be able to stand next to Krystle the way he does lmboo, but it’s the BDE of it all..(check!!)

5. How did their second date go? - Surprisingly, it was good, since they were still in Junior High when they started dating, it was sometimes awkward but they quickly opened up to each other and had much fun. obv since Karma is a part of the date, it’s chaos but Shuu secretly enjoyed it, Shhhh~~

The thing that gets me is they gave the one black PPG defined hips (kinda sus if u ask me) & her flaws is that she has anger issues??? Like what's up with that??? I'm black & have anger management issues yet I'm so sick and tired of the angry black girl trope being pushed in media all the time yes some of us are angry but we're not inhuman or dangerous esp in case of mental illness. She's the first every PPG but apparently she was born flawed while the white PPGs are perfect? Also kinda sus. 🤔🤔🤔

Not to mention Bliss literally has the same personality as the other girls if you look deeper. She doesn't really have something different to add to the dyanmic. Goth!Bliss (at least my interpretation) is usually apathetic, neutral & quiet. She's more interested in getting school done with than doing any real crime fighting. But deep down she loves her family. Her design still strays away from the norm but at the same time reflects her new personality & keep classic design elements. Plus her color palette shows her lawful neutral alignment, purple being the only thing that connects her to Bunny. I kinda want to keep the pixie cut so that she has a different hair length. So yeah there's like so much wrong with Canon Bliss both in design AND in concept.

I love how you've written every character and their personalities honestly chef kiss it's so entertaining to see any interaction between them I'm hooked. I love Yoongi and yn's dynamic, well I don't LOVE it bc Yoongi is just a mean asshole but ot gives me very much friends to enemies to lovers hopefully (after he works on a lot of shit he has going on lmao) bc I'm an angst with happy ending bitch. I also love her interactions with the rest of the boys (that are not related to her, still joonie and jk are some of my favs) but I think I see them more as her friends not love interests. you know, like, it feels like they're what she needs. find friends on her own to have her space and break out a little bit on her own to get to know herself more and also work on her stuff and kinda grow apart from feeling like she's joon's shadow... just a group of people who love her and support her no matter what. she's a very strong-willed, tough and guarded up, then sweet on the inside... idk I just love her you've done a great job with all of them and giving them their own personalities 🤗

the batsquad and supersquad obviously try to keep the kids contained while they find out more about the Big Bad but we know how courtney deals with orders from adults (that is to say, she doesn’t). so courtney and co. break out to go confront the villain (yolanda is all “shouldn’t we wait for the actual superheroes until we go do this” and courtney’s like “we are real superheroes! >:(” yolanda’s like “we’ve been doing this for like a week.”)

the superheroes realize that the mini-jsa is gone and they’re like “oh fuck” and go after them, reaching them in the nick of time.

after that, kate is like “whatever, you’re in” but kara is still very “no i can’t let you guys get hurt you are CHILDREN” (she comes around after about five times of the jsa escaping wherever they try to keep them)

okay that’s all i got! but that was super fun to think about and if we do get a crossover between stargirl and the arrowverse shows i hope this is what happens :)

I think that Edgeworthian Self-Aware High Dramatics would lend some sort of capacity to relate to life being difficult for overwhelmed kids/teens... also bc I honestly think Miles told Phoenix he liked him when they were kids and Phoenix immediately started talking about some girl he thought was cool, and the frog he saw on his walk to school, and Miles has never been the same since lol. I think he's kind of Bad at People, on general terms, but also So Bad He's Great in an Earnest Way, too.

That’s a great interpretation of Trucy, when you add abandonment issues to her usual “a magician must always smile and be entertaining :D” attitude then you get some reeeeaaaally messed up problems. I feel like she never really puts down her happy mask except for in front of Phoenix, then later Miles and Apollo when she starts to trust them more and accept them into her family. (Athena too someday if Capcom ever *siiiiigh* lets their female characters interact meaningfully again...)

Kay probably doesn’t have as extreme abandonment issues by virtue of her dad leaving really not being anything he did willingly or anything she had a hand in (unlike SOME PEOPLE *glares at Zak Gramarye’s corpse*) but it definitely does say something that her “default” personality according to aai2 case 4 is very insecure and shy... I mean Capcom’s favourite assistant character is “spunky and happy to cover up deep, deep trauma” which I do like but also... some variety would be nice...

anyways,,,, yes Miles finally learning how to actually deal with and regulate his emotions and trying to help his kids with it is so nice. He knows very well what can happen if you go your whole life not knowing how to actually deal with feelings (given his entire mess of a life, and Franziska being a complete mess despite not dealing with the Direct Trauma of a parent dying when she was at a young age, presumably)

Ok, so, originally this was gonna just be a million fuckin questions, and it'll prooooobably turn into one of those question chains from several months ago. BUT to start I think I can do just like, three. First, tell me ALL about the area in Norway where Jelani was growin up, absolutely anything and everything you can think of about it. Secondly, tell me ALL about babby Jelani! Again just anything and everything you can think of! Lastly, how exactly do those magic weapons work? :o Like, once they're made can anyone grab them? Can he only have one at a time? Stuff like that! Basically just use this as a chance to talk about all those things! :3

So Jelani was born and raised near what is known as Hammerfest today (woohoo subarctic climate!). Honestly he’s been everywhere and just about seen everything but nothing compares to when he was growing up in that area and watching the Aurora Borealis with family and friends in a comfortable silence while just taking it all in, ya know? Being born in 870 CE meant there was no light pollution so every night the sky always lit up and the stars were so shiny and there were millions and millions of them which was absolutely insane to see and had a lot of significance because of his mom’s culture and their relationship to the stars.

They were close to the coast so there was a lot of fishing and sailing. He was also partial to that area because it was close to the sea and close enough to the mountains where it felt like a happy in between. He’s not a fan of being too far from some source of water. That place was perfect as he could see all kinds of sea dwelling animals like whales and seals, squids though he’s not a fan, he’s kind of scared of squid especially the really big ones he saw every once in a while. He especially liked puffins as a kid since he thought they were kinda silly. Inland he saw his fair share of reindeer, foxes, bears, wolves and otters which he completely fell in love with and still loves as an adult. Show him pictures or videos of otters and he’ll melt, if he sees one irl he’ll practically die from the amount of cute. There were also the more supernatural creatures though he mostly grew up around a lot of werewolves.

Oh! And sure, he’s not a big fan of the sun but even he has to admit that the midnight sun is pretty impressive and beautiful in its own right. It was gorgeous to see it and he did enjoy walking around in the middle of the night and still see the sun out.

Also, despite the location, he was exposed to a lot of different people as the village was flagged as a safe area which saw a ton of traders and all were welcome regardless of who you were or if you were human or non-human. He saw everything and interacted with all sorts of people from the local Sámi People, Middle Eastern, Asian and even other African people. And after his mom found out her family were still alive and well they’d also visit each other when they could. Honestly, his upbringing was kinda fairy tale like.

qasdxcfgbhn well, Jela as a little kid was always hanging around his parents, grandparents and especially his brother. Since Loke’s 13 years older than him Loke often watched him and played with him a lot, he wasn’t even asked to he just did it because baby brother. Like the instant Lo first saw him it was like love at first sight type of shit. He learned to speak clearly very early on which surprised everyone at how clear and structured his speech was for a kid so young and then they learned he was a very fast learner and really smart and was always curious and asking tons of questions.

Even since he was little he really loved animals so he was always seen chasing after them or somehow petting them and playing with them. Learned to ride and care for horses pretty fast and when he got his own it was like fireworks went off in his head. Even in present day he sees a horse and it’s like instant childhood memories flooding him. Btw his first horse was a mare he named Dagny, just like his ball python in modern times lol, it was a Fjord with a grey coat and a two tone mane and he loved her to bits. Aside from that there was the family dog named River because she loved to swim. He also liked cats but they didn’t have a cat because Loke was scared of them and Sanaa (for different reasons related to another creature) wasn’t fond of them. They don’t hate cats but they’d rather just keep ‘em at arm’s length.

Then teen Jelani who was...I don’t wanna use the word difficult because he wasn’t but let’s just say different for lack of a better word. It was around this time that he was realizing he wasn’t like his family and it actually hurt ‘im a lot. Especially since his mom was an arcane berserker and it was like a huge deal so they all thought he was gonna be one too. So in come the feelings of alienation and the doubts and the semi angst and the moodiness. He was never disrespectful to anyone but he was often moody and often felt down. Around this time he was also learning he had some unique abilities of his own that no one else had and since no one else had them he learned to control them but not without incidents. Not to mention that since he was very little he could see and hear and talk to things that no one else could really see. Some were friendly and others weren’t. Mix in the regular hormonal shit teenagers go through during puberty and it made for a bit of a mess. This kind of “weakened” him and his old self (which he nor anyone else knew of) was starting to rear in and it was kind of scary. He was actually fluctuating between his old personality which was chaotic af and his present self and both seemed to clash a lot. Once this started happening the migraine attacks and the nosebleeds began as well as the sleep paralysis, night terrors, insomnia and the nyctophobia and they all seemed to hit him really hard and suddenly. So all of that mixed in made the ages of 13 through 17 really, really fucking messy.

But family and friends were with him through it all and at 17 and a half he chilled out and learned to control himself and managed to suppress his old self. He’d learned to use and handle his abilities responsibly, still felt a little out of place but his family was sure to always let ‘im know they loved him no matter what and his grandfather especially let him know that his differences weren’t a bad thing and that they made ‘im special. By 18 he was back to his cheerful old self though sometimes he still felt bad about being different but didn’t let it get him down. However, he now had to cope with migraine attacks, night terrors, nyctophobia, random nosebleeds, insomnia and sleep paralysis which he still has even in present day.

Okay so berserkers are non-humans that have the ability to summon powerful weapons and very sturdy armor from nothing thin air. The armor can take a beating but if they get targeted by a barrage of attacks the armor can break and they’d have to summon the armor again but there’s a cool down of about half an hour so it’s better to hang on to the armor even if broken or get your ass to safety. The weapons don’t break though. Oh and if an armor broke and they summon it again it’ll show up as good as new. Berserkers can summon up to two different weapons so which ones they summon depends on the person’s taste and comfort level.

These weapons can be summoned and dematerialized at will and have no cool down. Anyone can grab them if the berserker it belongs to doesn’t mind though why would a berserker use another one’s weapon unless they wanna be offensive and kill ‘em with their own weapon? It’s not offensive, more like yikes.

Now, since Jelani isn’t a berserker he managed to figure out a way to mimic berserkers’ ability to summon a weapon from thin air though unlike grown up berserkers he isn’t limited to just two types of weapons. For example Loke is able to summon a two headed axe and a bow, nothing more nothing less. Jelani can summon whatever he wants as he can manipulate the shape. His mom’s tribe are partial to glaives so he mainly uses a glaive. His weapons however are made of an unknown material that’s insanely hard and impossible to even crack. His weapons can’t be wielded by anyone other than himself bc as soon as someone else touches them they dematrerialize. It also looks weird, like it’s so dark it swallows all light and no light bounces off of it. He can’t summon armor though so that’s where the blacksmith comes in. His uncle Jørgen made his look like his dad’s and his mom’s.

You know that game idea I was kicking around for a bit? And I ended up writing like. A bunch of paragraphs for it? Yeah, that one.

Well, I made some mock designs for it.

As it goes, I know 0 about character design and I am not very good at posing and proportions, as well as the fact that this is all a WIP and will probably never go anywhere. Good? Good.

Warning, this is pretty damn long because I discuss some potential character interactions and the designs because I need to talk about it lmao (obligatory readmore because I talk too much lmao)

Viola

Viola’s the odd one out of the three because I he just kind of popped into my brain one day and I went “sure let’s roll with that” simply because I was throwing around ideas for the rest of the String Quartet as it were (Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass). The other two I sat myself down and said “I’m doing this today okay” and then I did it but he’s weird because he just naturally occurred as it were. 

I’ve imagined him as something of a moody teen. He’s also kind of defensive and prickly and a bit angsty. He’s sweet under that outer shell of thorns, though. He has something of a inferiority complex to Violin, since as far as I am aware, violas don’t usually get solos in classical orchestra (though I could be 100% wrong and I’m admitting that bc I don’t remember much of symphony orchestra. Actually I remember a lot of symphony, but not enough, sadly).

Violin teases him a lot, but she makes it known that she doesn’t mean any of the joking barbs she throws at Viola. She knows he’s important in his own right, but still the jokes can hurt, so he’s distant from her. He wants the spotlight too, but he’s also a little afraid of it because what if he makes himself a laughingstock when he finally gets his solo? Poor thing.

Design-wise, I think he’d wear probably a dark red hoodie with white trim, or something. Idk. Yes, he wears skinny jeans (in black, probably), and no, I don’t know why I drew him with cuffed pant legs. He’s a Converse kind of guy, I think, and his hair is is a bleach blond. No clue if his hair has any other color in it.

He doesn’t wear his hood up all the time though. When he’s particularly moody, he’ll probably pull it over his head (I imagine his default sprite is him with his hood up because I think he won’t be that open to the player just yet) and close the strings, but otherwise, his hood is up enough because he wants to or it’s down because he wants to.

Imagine though, if the player gets enough “bond points” with him, his default will change to him having his hood down because he’s more comfy with the player, in general (and maybe the player like seeing his face idk) and that’s a barrier broken. Imagine Viola being a cuddlebug with the player because they’re so warm and it feels nice to be around them. Imagine Viola smiling more instead of looking grumpy. Imagine Viola finally opening up and learning that he is worthy of being a string instrument and he is loved and cherished for who he is and that he doesn’t need to be better than Violin to have worth because he is is own person, and that’s what matters.

Imagine him mending fences with Violin in a sidequest. Violin stops teasing him so much (but since she’s like a sister to him, of course she’s going to annoy him- it’s what siblings do) and Viola being more open to her and showing her that warmth he too has.

Gameplay-wise, since he’s a member of the Strings family, he would have a higher ATK stat with lower DEF and HP as a tradeoff. However, he’s more beefy than Violin, who probably is The Glass Tank to the entire String family. Maybe Stradivarius is the Most Glass Tankiest out of all of the Strings. I dunno.

Guitar

Okay, so I’m not gonna lie, Guitar is my favorite design out of the three here. I don’t know if I wanted him to be bishounen or ikemen but since I can’t draw ikemen at freaking all, I went the bishounen route. but I think he’s still more handsome than pretty, so maybe he’s already ikemen?

So, I imagine Guitar as more of a mellow guy. He’s nice, maybe unremarkable, but that’s what’s great about him. He’s definitely handsome though, and he knows it. He’s most definitely a flirt. He takes pride in his appearance, but isn’t vain. Out of the Guitar brothers, he’s probably the most “chill” one. He’s also “cool” because… yknow. Guitars are cool. I’m gonna be honest, I didn’t really didn’t know what else to put for his character, so I might add or change things as I see fit in the future.

Design-wise, I wanted him to be pretty. In fact, the first thing I had in my mind was a white button-down and a vest. What I did not foresee, however, was how much of a pain in the ass drawing a collar was. I forgot how much I hated drawing collared men’s shirts lol. I actually wanted one side to be untucked, giving him like… a roguish?? Sexy??? Vibe. But I decided against it because it didn’t look good At All.

The vest was also a “should I or should I not” thing. Maybe it was because I really liked how I drew the shirt. i was worried that he’d look too formal, but I don’t think he looks too formal after it was finished. The coat slung over his shoulder was a “cool” booster lol. He never wears it, just like he’ll never button the top button of his shirt.

His color palate would probably be tans. White shirt, tan vest. Probably black pants, and the jacket is a wildcard. No clue what color it would be. His hair is probably a sandy brown and shiny. It looks very soft and it very much is. Most of the guitar players I see have long hair and/or a beard, so maybe he’ll have a little stubble? Dunno.

Imagine the player getting enough “bond points” with Guitar and him actually meaning what he says because initially he wanted to tease the player a bit or that was just a way he jokes around but now… he cares for their well-being deeply. Imagine Guitar being goofy and an utter prankster like his brother Electric Guitar. Imagine him being a bad influence to the younger/more impressionable instruments and getting all of them in trouble with the player because he too is cheery and bright but he’s just more well known for being mellow and romantic and smooth and he just keeps up with that image because he’s worried that others view him as strange or they would abandon him because he’s a popular hobby instrument but sometimes hobbies don’t pan out well and he’s been left in some attic alone and unplayed and abandoned only to be sold again to another person.

Imagine him worrying over his brothers because they’re doing something dumb and he has to bail them out. Imagine in a sidequest, he loses his cool and goes absolutely feral because his brothers are in mortal danger when he initially had more of a distant relationship to them.

Gameplay-wise, I imagine him to be a little more like the Brass family (of which I have yet to actually do anything for)- more beef in exchange for ATK. But since he’s from the Strings, he naturally has higher ATK and has more skills associated with the Strings family.

Violin

Okay. I have played violin for over 7 years guys. I haven’t played in an orchestra for a while though so my inf might be outdated or something because I’ve not been in an orchestral environment for two years.

So I’ve imagined Violin to be something of a drama queen? That’s too strong of a word for it, but I can’t think of anything else. Dramatic, perhaps, suits her better. She’s certainly formal and definitely haughty and “cultured” but she’s as cultured my file directory (aka not at all). Well, that’s a lie. She certainly has class. She likes attention but she’s not an attention whore and also she doesn’t have that much of an ego.  She takes her job very seriously, too, and is a perfectionist. Perhaps she’s more like Viola than she lets on…

She appreciates the “little guy” as it were and is not one of those “ohime-sama” characters. Yes, there’s a stylistic difference between a fiddle and a violin (bluegrass/country vs classical and jazz), but in the body and neck of the actual instrument, as well as the range, there is very little to no difference. The main differences are the strings (fiddles typically use steel strings for a brighter sound compared to violins which use synthetic or traditional gut strings) and the bridge (flatter for string crossing/chords and rounded for single note playing).

I’m getting ahead of myself. I imagine Violin parties hard in addition to simply being all wound up and “classy”. Like, she’s probably the one doing karaoke and shots and in general being Wild while also being her typical Responsible, Classic, Dramatic self. She’s also quite sweet and is a hopeless romantic, but she has something of a short fuse and can get really scary when she wants to be. She’s probably Disaster Bi.

Design-wise, my first thought was concert blacks. Seriously. Whenever you hear “violin”, please tell me that you, too, hear someone in an elegant black dress, absurdly beautiful and pristine? Just me? Okay. She has beautiful brown hair that’s wavy and silky and soft and maybe it’s magic but it changes color slightly in the light when you see it at a different angle.

Imagine the player getting enough “bond points” with her and she finally starts to let her hair down. Imagine she invites the player to a karaoke bar or simply to a small party/gathering she and a few other instruments have planned because she wants to have fun. Imagine she sets up a drinking game that includes Spin The Bottle or 7 Minutes In Heaven or something because she can be fun and she’s not just uptight and known for being for the nobility. Maybe she’s insecure about how others see her because she’s been seen always as a tightly wound person and she too can have fun and be wild and free and happy and not a stick in the mud. Maybe she’s a perfectionist because that’s what’s been drilled into her from her creation because she’s usually a sign of nobility and nobles have to be perfect and she must be perfect to charm crowds of people and she’s only beautiful because she’s perfect but she’s beautiful even with her imperfections and her quirks and she doesn’t need to be Wild to prove that she can be fun and that’s okay.

Imagine her and Viola making up in a sidequest. She knows that she teases him and pokes fun at him a lot but she really doesn’t mean it. She knows that he’s an important instrument in orchestras and she tells him that yes he is needed and is important and yes, she’ll stop poking fun at him because she realises that her comments actually do hurt and she doesn’t want him to feel unloved. But she’ll still annoy him because that’s what big sisters do but she’ll stay away from those kinds of jokes because she doesn’t mean it and it’s mean so she’ll stop.

Gameplay-wise, she’s definitely on the more glass canon side of things. She has excellent ATK, but her DEF and HP are kinda… shit. I’d pair her with other String instruments that have higher DEF and HP to help balance out her flaws or even put her on a team with Percussion or Brass or even have her with a Woodwind to help with healing and she’ll do the damage necessary.

hi! im new to ur blog and i was wondering if you could tell me a bit about monster house? i scrolled through some tags and i’m super interested!

hey! monster house is basically a whole verse set on modern day earth where there are different ‘monsters’ (vampires, werewolves, witches, etc.) living secretly alongside humans. 

it’s called monster house/the monster house verse because when it begun, it was based around one big house full of orphaned or outcasted monsters who were adopted into this semi-sentient, ever changing house in a small english beach town. most of the monster house verse still revolves around this house and the characters who live or lived in it, but occasionally i branch out and write about the wider world, because there is a whole wider world of going ons and happenings outside of the ‘monster house’ itself

the main stories that come out of the monster house verse revolve around the people who live in the actual ‘monster house’ itself (as you’d expect lol). the main characters are kenzi (human girl who was raised in monster house bc of reasons) and her girlfriend harlow (human girl she met at school.) then there’s toby (moody teen vampire who lives in monster house) and his boyfriend kai (witch boy who doesn’t live in monster house). my favourites (sh) are kali and lani. kali is a demon who grew up in monster house. she’s kinda badass but also just bad a lot of the time. and lani is an angel who was raised in a human foster home and is basically the personification of the sunshine and also cupcakes. they fall in love. monster house is very gay if you hadn’t picked up on that
