Hazel who sunk an entire small island entirely on her own with her final breath, against giants and a primordial goddess of the earth.

If Nico dramatically wilts plants and cracks the ground when he's mildly stressed, and disintegrates enemies down to their skeletons with a single touch or rips their souls out of their still-living bodies, and can command armies of the undead, what happens if he tries to cause destruction? Even outside of total zombie apocalypse or insta-killing a crowd, he's shown enough geokinesis to absolutely be capable of the same destruction Percy and Hazel can manifest.

What about Jason? He can control the winds and storms. There's no way he can't create the most destructive tornadoes with casual effort that he can never justify using for the collateral damage they'd cause. With a single thought he can rip up a town and launch the remnants 50 miles out. (Jason in the center of a Dead Man Walking tornado, vortexes responding to his movements like an avatar...)

And what can anyone do to combat it? How can you fight the wind lifting everything you know and love into the sky, or floods sweeping you away, or the ground giving way beneath you? The Big 3 kids are scary because they are forces of nature, and their whims are the only thing preventing you from witnessing that at any given moment.

How can you not love Vicki Pallister, orphan rescued from some of the most dire circumstances a companion starts in (being emotionally tortured by and unknowingly caring for a mass murderer who killed her father, fuck you bennett), forgives barbara for unknowingly killing her pet, Sandy the Sand Beast, the only creature left in the universe who loves her, so she's a better person than me, and thats all before she even joins the TARDIS, where she and the doctor become time and spaces most chaotic double act. in her first story after joining the tardis she and the doctor are so bored of the nice little holiday they're having at ian and barbara's insistence that when they find a dead body on the side of the road they think it'd be really fun for the doctor to impersonate him so they can meet nero, where they then proceed to cause havoc. the doctor emperor's new clothes nero to cover for his inability to use the instrument he stole from the corpse, and gives nero the idea to start the great fire of rome, meanwhile vicki makes a new friend, the court's poisoner, and very nearly poisons the emperor. she does not give a shit, and the story ends with the tardis team laughing as they watch rome burn. next in the web planet she gets herself another pet monster, in the space museum she tricks a computer into opening the armoury and openly tells it she's going to use the weapons to revolt. she's just delightful, and I wish she were more widely beloved. the night air was still around you. the only sounds were distant calls of an owl and your short, shallow breaths. you crane your neck to look up into simon’s face, your hand grabbing onto the vest of his tac gear. he’s got you pressed up against the wall of the base, with the excuse of stepping outside for a cigarette with his girl.

his eyes are focused on your soft face as he slowly traces shapes onto your skin with his large fingers. you can feel his rough hands hold you gently as he traces a heart along your blushing cheek. his other hand against the wall beside your head, holding him distractingly close to you. you can feel him breathe in as he grumbles from deep in his chest,

“so beautiful. an’ all mine.”

he throws his head back with a groan, your hands sliding up his muscular thighs. your eyes lock with his behind the mask, a small smirk coming onto your face.

he nods eagerly, his hands grabbing onto the bedsheets trying to hold himself back. his back straightens from his position on the edge of your bed, your smaller frame between his legs. as soon as he saw you on your knees for him, he was a feral man.

“you take care of me so well. always protecting me from the bad guys.”

you purr with a small laugh. he lets out a strained moan as he takes in your words. god, this man was absolutely whipped for you and he knew it.

it’s when your pretty little hands start unbuttoning his jeans and your innocent eyes look up at him, you murmur two words that send him into a frenzy.

“good boy.”

and that was all it took for him to grab you by your waist, throwing you quickly onto the bed. he climbs on top of you with a growl..

“goddamn it, lovie. the things you do to me.”

he grinds his bulge down into your body, small fingers tracing up his perfect biceps. your wide eyes trace his pretty face as he, completely intoxicated by you, breathes out..

“gonna fuck those words out of you, need to hear those perfect lips of yours say that again.”

my biggest problem with arcane is that it really would’ve been a better show if it was longer. i’m sure it’s cheaper from a production perspective to have nine episode seasons, but like?? imagine how much deeper they could’ve gone with the themes of the show, the relationships between characters, and the overall arcs if they’d just had more time for it.

this is a story with like ten different protagonists with rich backstories and interlocking story arcs, touches on themes like trauma, justice, classism, morality, and the consequences of new technology that can be used for violence (particularly police brutality), and oh by the way there’s a powerful, eons-old magic system that literally turns one of the characters into a god in the last episode??

like there’s just SO much stuff packed into only 18 episodes, there’s no room to breathe, and nothing gets explored as deeply as it should. i love this show so much but i hate that it was made in Thee Digital Streaming Era where such a great story has so little time to say everything it needs to say. why must everything be a miniseries

Well now that the dust has settled a bit on the C3 finale and wrap up, I do wanna throw out some suggestions for 10 one shots - in no particular order - which I feel like would be great and fun and narratively tied in with the characters.

EXU: Crownfall Premise: In the future events (circa 15 years or less after the Rites of Catatheosis) the Crown Keepers reunite to try and free Opal from the crown, with ominous word that Lolth's mortal form is close to reawakening their memories and bringing their friend back into her service. Notes: Potential guest cameos for some Bell's Hells members and Deni$e if Aimee wants to double up.

Bell's Hells Go to PopCon Premise: Set a few weeks after the Rites of Catatheosis, Bell's Hells go to PopCon in Rumblecusp to support Chetney - the guest of honour. An egg is up for grabs for Fearne as a side plot but the hired hunters after Chetney during their reunion in Jrusar are also lurking in the shadows, likely at the behest of a disgruntled and aggrieved shopkeeper upset with Chetney's newfound fame. Notes: Potential guest cameos for Deanna and FRIDA, maybe even a long lost Pock O'Pea relative? Also maybe some conflict with TravelerCon happening on the same day!

EXU: Apogee Premise: Set either during the events of the final battle or after, an opportunity arises to see what Deanna, FRIDA, Deni$e, and Prism are up to in their own mini-adventure. Notes: Possible additions for other PCs to join the group, maybe even Tary and/or Kingsley given their absence in the campaign or let Matt play an NPC-turned-PC like Dancer, Joe, Xandis, or Ryn while another DMs.

Bell's Hells vs the Nine Hells Premise: In the absence of their Lord, a power vacuum is happening in the Nine Hells, and in turn many devils are coming to collect on their pacts to gain an advantage at the head of the table. Bell's Hells go to the Hells in order to dismantle an alliance of devils intent on taking over and laying waste to the material plane in preparation for Asmodeus' return - and their own gain and favour. Notes: Potential involvement for Zerxus, also potential to free Fearne from her pact with Klask, Braius stuff since Azzy M made him a marked moo, and maybe even a little fallout from Ashton pissing off Tiamat - who was sealed in Avernus. Also a chance to reshape the Hells in a more homebrewed structure if so desired.

Bell's Hells: Infinite Possibilities Premise: Irritated by the constant surveillance on them over the years, Ashton finally accepts the Kryn Dynasty's 'invitation' to visit and be studied: but they're not going alone. Tensions are high among the Hells given the Bright Queen's reluctance in the finale to aid them in the ritual or in saving Ashton's life, but Luxon lore is desired by both parties, as are answers about Ashton themselves - and, for Bell's Hells, getting them out alive and in one piece. Notes: Potential to also involve Essek, and possibly free him from the Kryn's corsairs, and Verin for family lore. Might also be worth noting Chetney's 'deal' with Leylas regarding bringing Ashton to them dead or alive, and possibly stealing some beacons for Nana or just for fun/spite.

Bell's Hells: A Kick in the Shattered Teeth Premise: Able to confirm that Ludinus Da'leth is in the Shattered Teeth from Caleb and Beau's scrying, Orym calls upon Bell's Hells to finish off the cloned corpse of that crusty-ass ancient elf once and for all. Returning to the Shattered Teeth does however come with some environmental chaos and obstacles, and while Ludinus has been 'retired' since his first death he is by no means unprepared for these kinds of visitors. Notes: Potential return for Captain Novos (are they still ghosts now that the Strife Emperor is 'gone'?), and Jirana - and her Toad Belly Hut - one last chance to bring up Molaesmyr again while confronting Ludinus', hopefully dissatisfied, feelings on the gods still surviving.

Bell's Hells: Shadow of Sorrow Premise: Just as Ira forewarned, the Unseelie Court have set their sights on Fearne and the rest of Bell's Hells for the death of Sorrowlord Zathuda. Leading the charge is Yu Suffiad, given her prior knowledge and experience in dealing with them, but much like how Zathuda was willing to turn on the court for his own gains, many members of the antagonistic court have ulterior fey-like motives. Bell's Hells must stand their ground and play to their own trickery and chaos against the Unseelie's Uncanny Ambush, and find a way to end the order put against them. Notes: A chance to bring back Gloamglut - and for Fearne to get that inheritance she was curious about. More Seelie/Unseelie lore especially now the Moonweaver is 'gone', possibly Traveler shenanigans too via Braius and maybe some more stuff with Ira and/or Nana to aid in the chaos.

EXU: RedBlue Premise: Ruidians of all races have started traveling to the Blue Promise, and a ragtag group of Ruidians have joined together in search of adventure and personal discovery in this foreign-to-them world that's existed only in their dreams. Notes: A light and fun way to reframe Exandria and its culture through the lens of Ruidians, as well as introducing more races of Ruidus and their own culture.

EXU: Mortal Premise: Set decades or more after the rites, the gods once again reunite in mortal form. This time though not to fell a city, build a gate, or find a lost sibling, but to seek out an adventure in places unknown or previously out of their grasp. But things adverse to and obscured from gods are not entirely welcoming, and the Chained Oblivion still seeks to free itself from the Abyss. Notes: Would recommend not using the same gods seen in Downfall and Divergence, just for variety, some of the less fleshed out gods (maybe some more Betrayers?) would be better.

Wedding Bells (Hells) Premise: Laura Bailey will not be denied and a third wedding is on the cards. But chaos will always follow and Delilah has made a gambit for one last escape from her Soul Anchor at the most annoying time possible - a particular specialty of hers. Notes: If it were me I'd do a bait and switch and say the wedding setting is not the Imodna wedding, but the two have an opening to get a marriage ceremony in the episode anyway. But otherwise it is the 3 for 3 wedding episode, also a chance for the Hells to clean up nicely design-wise, and ofc cameos galore.

i think keiji is overall an amazingly written character and one of the best in yttd however there is one major issue i have with his writing and it’s literally just. how they handled megumi. you’d think that after revealing to everyone that keiji purposefully let someone die right in front of him there would be more conflict based around that (especially between him and sara) but instead he just feels bad about it for like 2 seconds and then they all forget about it. I can overlook the butchering of Agatha and Rio’s relationship in the finale (no I can’t but ao3 will fill in the gaps) but I cannot get over how they completely dropped the themes of sisterhood and belonging. Not just in the final episodes but it was sorely lacking in the whole show. A show about covenless witches!!! A gang of bitchy, pessimistic, traumatized women forced to work together to regain their power as witches, and the canon explicitly telling us that being apart of a coven is intrinsic to being a witch….. the story they should’ve been telling is right there 😔

As a show of good faith toward the remaining Decepticons at the beginning of a new, united Cybertron, newly appointed Senators Bumblebee and Soundwave allowed Shatter and Dropkick to enlist into Autobot City's Defense Team.

These two turned out to be... not the best choices.

The city may have fallen to Insurgent Decepticon occupation had it not been for young recruits Hot Rod and Arcee's accidental interception of Shatter's communication with the fugitive Starscream.

To replace the errant Defense Team members, Springer and Blurr were reassigned from Iacon to Autobot City in their stead.
