• Blitzø is very extroverted, though at sometimes he can be awkward, and not really in the mood to talk. It’s easy to tell when he wants to be alone, since he makes an active effort to isolate himself, so be aware of that and take not hard feelings.

• Considering you both need to get some anger out, I can see a date night being the both of you going to a wreck room or something. He usually doesn’t have all the time in the world for dates due to his job, but when they do happen they usually have a lot of thought out into them.

It takes April longer than she’d like to admit to realise she’s being wound up. Lately she’s joined a World Wildlife Fund group at college and for once she’s actually kind of fitting in. She’d been excited and then Leo had said, “So, they like animals? Not trees?” and ten minutes later it seems kind of logical that they might be behind the herbicide because if they like animals they… hate plants?

“Okay, none a that made any sense at all,” she says, as if she hadn’t been ranting along.

“But are you sure?” he asks. “It’s you so if you’re getting along with them they’ve got to be yokai in disguise or a secret society or robots or something.”

April flicks his forehead and she’d do worse if he wasn’t sitting propped up against a stack of pillows wearing more bandages than a mummy. “Quit bein’ a jerk. I know you’re bored, but you don’t gotta insult my new friends.” He grimaces, hands fluttering. “I can tell Splintz if you need more pain meds, but you still gotta quit it.”

“I’m not in pain. I just. Ugh.” He wraps his arms around himself and then uncurls again. “Sorry, Apes. Your new friends sound cool.” He makes big, shiny eyes at her which is fine. The line between ‘genuine apology’ and ‘overwhelming guilt’ is a bit of a fine one right now, and this lands on the right side of it. Yes, Leo will knock it off, no, he won’t mope about it for days.

“Uh huh,” she says. “They are cool. And if you’re good I’ll give you more gossip.”

“Thank you, I am dying of boredom here.”

He probably is, he’s fidgety as hell today, and it’s good that his energy is back but it’s got to be torture for him to stay in bed like a good, well-behaved patient.

April moves to sit beside him on the bed, cutting off a sentence that didn’t seem likely to find an ending anytime soon.

“I don’t think he’s gonna get that mad,” she says. “And if he does he’ll have to go through me.”

April holds her arms out and Leo gives her a bright, wobbly grin, before scooping her into his own arms. She does try to be careful, he might need a hug but she doesn’t want to dislodge bits of his shell even if she’s pretty sure they’re healing together by this point. Not and waste all the time she and Donnie spent looking up what to do for broken turtle shells on pet sites.

Leo is only as careful with her as the turtles usually are, which means remembering she has a spine, not a shell, and is also lacking whatever super-strength lets them lug those huge shells around at high speed all day. She hopes he’s not doing anything terrible to his fractured arm holding onto her this tight.

“Yeah.” He chuckles. “It’s like cuddling a teddy bear. You’re so small and soft and fluffy, with big round ears.” He nuzzles one of her buns.

When Inez has a daughter

Inez: (in excitement) Oh Mateo, I can't wait to have our little girl!

Matt: Aren't you excited about it, Nezzie?

Matt: We can't wait to see her in February 14th. On Valentineʼs Day.

Several month later. Inez

Inez: Oh no.

Inez: I'm in early labor. My water just broke.

Inez shriek in pain after several pushes she's done. She went into early labor on January 24th.

Jackie: Youre almost done, Nezzie. One more push, and shell be out.

Jackie delivered the baby. Inez put her down in a bassinet to lay her down. It was too early for Inez to go into labor.

The doctor said the baby will be fine, they would let her know more when she gets back home. But that wasn’t going to happen anytime soon. They didn’t want to overwhelm her with visitors. So, Inez had to leave. She promised Camila she will come visit when she is released from her maternity ward. She promised her parents, and now Camila. Inez said goodbye to all her friends. They will see each other soon. Jackie stayed behind, holding baby Camila as she held the umbilical cord. Jackie will take care of her. As long as she lives, Camila will never have any worries or fear again. That day, she will finally be free. And her life won’t change a single bit. Her parents came to see her off, Jackie told her good bye one last time. The rest are still waiting in the waiting room for news on Inez. Her mother said she needs some time alone to think about what happened. She is scared. But she also loves Camila very much. Inez hugged her parents goodbye. Jackie went with her to the gate where their car is parked. She will drive them back to the house and pick up Camila before she goes to work. Jackie gave her one last kiss. Then she took a deep breath.

Truth about losing weight after emotional abuse:

First off, people on the outside see you struggling in the toxic environment and try to say things to help you out BUT you take it as they’re not “supporting you” AND you have real and genuine feelings involved. You think you love this person and you are confused why they are one minute happy with you but upset the next. My ex Andrew promised me change in our relationship 3 different times. He swore to me that I was his priority and that he wanted me. 😐 yet he continued to be distant and keep me at an arms length. I felt I’m begging him to let me “love him” and I’m POURING out my undying love to him. I was SO EMOTIONAL with him…. But I got nothing!

I would send Andrew so many long paragraphs in our text messages to each other and I would express my love and confusion. I begged him for answers many times to why he was so distant from me and struggling to let me closer but he would not give me answers. He always just said what I wanted to hear. My girlfriends KNEW I was upset all the time but anytime they tried to say anything to me, I got super defensive 😓

Andrew wasn’t even my 1st toxic relationship and yet I was not self aware back then. I was completely in the dark but knew these men were breaking my heart. I hadn’t fully grieved my ex Cody ghosting me because I met Andrew less than 6 months after. Andrew kept me in a constant emotional and anxious state of mind. One minute Andrew feels super close to me but the next minute he feels worlds apart from me. I constantly feared he was breaking up with me but he never did. I actually tried to end it 3 times myself.

Towards the very end of the relationship, it was so confusing and challenging that up was now down and left was right. He says he wants me but he’s acting like he is so bored with me. YET won’t break up with me either AND I found out he was texting my friend for a month behind my back…. whenever I finally blocked his number, I had got into a new relationship already that felt very safe and I end up marrying this new guy not even a year and a half later after breaking up with Andrew. It all changed for me fast! As I felt safe, I begin to eat more than I ever had before. I gain some weight and I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been but during covid, my stomach gave way, I had constant burning in my esophagus and I lost all the weight plus some and began to keep losing weight even when I’m not trying to!! People don’t know why and get scared for me. People that haven’t seen you in awhile, wanna know if you’re sick or if you’re purposely doing it for vain reasons 😝🙈

People are truly worried. They talk and make comments. It’s just what people do. I just smile at them and let them know it’s not on purpose but that I’m ok. I don’t tell them why or say that I’m “sick”. I blamed covid at first till I learned about emotional abuse and then started to really think about when I struggled with stomach issues and it does go back to when I was with Andrew. However, I’m getting better the more I learn about everything and I become more at peace in myself ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹🥰

It’s easy to get overwhelmed when people constantly say “oh wow! You’re so skinny! What happened to you??” And they look like they have seen a ghost 👻 aha At first I was upset cuz everyone was telling me something was wrong with me, how it’s not normal to lose so much weight at once but, I struggled to eat. During covid I could only eat an apple 🍎 😝😳 that was the only thing that didn’t burn in my esophagus. You don’t just tell people, “oh yeah, I have digestive issues cuz I was in an abusive relationship…” that doesn’t sound right and not everyone understands!!!!! It’s not a hot topic that is easy to talk about. There is this place here called Cheep- which looks like your typical girly girl clothing store- BUT!!! If you ask to step out back, you can walk down these stairs into the basement & gods it is like walking into the 70s or a vintage gay’s closet I LOVE it!! I also have these nice grey jeans from there thst I wanna make a patchwork out of! It is gonna look sooooooooo good >:]
