Hey guys sorry I said I was coming back then immediately disappeared>: I started working on a kunizai x reader 3some but it was just not turning out right like. At all. So after trying my hardest to have the fic turn out good I decided to completely switch gears and write something completely different. So now we have this:P I will probably return to the fic eventually but for now I wanna give myself a break from that bc it was hurting my soul how poorly it was going😭

Anyways!! I wrote this months before my original break and decided to post it to give you guys sustenance:D I’ve also finished the pm and I will post that like next week. Because this is a nice fun way to get back into writing I’m gonna focus on getting all the organizations done!!

Fukuzawa - missionary

Yes, definitely! I don’t have a single doubt in mind that everyone who’s died in the recent chapters (besides bram unfortunately) will come back. One of the worst things an author can do it kill a bunch of characters off at once because their deaths aren’t memorable. I think asagiri is a better author than that, and that the characters will come back. The only exception is definitely bram, because he died in a different way from everyone else, making his death memorable. And not to mention, his death was a very good way to wrap up his character. But I still cried a lot when he died</3

And kunikida better not stay dead, he’s one of my fav characters! And Dazai better hurry his ass up and get to everyone else faster because he’s the only person who can’t stop Fyodor’s ability and let someone kill him without consequences!

Omg is that really you or is it just your lost soul? how are you? it's been so long! I hope whatever you've been doing is going great, I think we all missed any kind of post from you or signs of life. Regarding the last chapter, I was quite shocked. The last thing I expected was to see so many deaths in two chapters, AND THAT FINAL SCENE OF ATSUSHI FINALLY FACE TO FACE WITH FYODOR? and he looked so handsome! although I'm still mourning Bram, he's now my second favorite character and Fyodor my third. There's so much going on lately in the manga, I feel like I love the work more every day. I don't know if I should feel sad because Sigma hasn't appeared yet, or celebrate it, because honestly he would be very easy to kill in a situation like that. although strangely I would be sad and happy if he died.

Yes, well after a super long break I’m back!! I decided to not use tumblr during my break so I could really just focus on myself. Tbh the only social media I think I used my entire break was TikTok? I just felt that not spending as much time on my phone could help me get better

And about the most recent chapters YES omg I’ve been so surprised at every corner and I never have any idea what’s going on until I reread the chapter a few times😭 also when Atsushi was face to face with Fyodor I was so surprised because I realized before that they had never actually met. Also I’m so curious about why Fyodor is infatuated with Atsushi, because it’s like, why? I’ve always agreed with the theories that Atsushi is somehow connected to the book, but I was surprised that Fyodor cared about Atsushi being connected so much. But then I got such whiplash because he immediately started to just..hate Atsushi when he didn’t act how he expected him to?? It’s like a weird little Atsushi fan club that Fyodor immediately left when Atsushi wasn’t the person he imagined he’d be. It was soooo odd and I can’t wait to learn all the reasoning behind everything going on

And about sigma, I wouldn’t worry! I’m willing to bet money that sigma will come back because there’s just too much wasted potential if he doesn’t, and not to mention sigma is currently the only way for the rest of the cast to learn more about Fyodor—and hopefully—how to defeat him

And by the way, bram is one of my favs too:) he’s so underrated I almost never see any content of him

You recently moved into a new apartment. You were so excited to live on your own. Finally, no more annoying roommates. All of the decisions for how the apartment was going to look was completely up to you.

Which sounds nice, but you have no help with moving your furniture into your apartment! You had managed to get some of your smaller furniture into your room via the elevator, but you had no clue what to do with your bed frame. It was way too big to fit in the tiny cramped elevator. And not to mention, you couldn’t even drag it on your own, let alone carry it up several flights of stairs.

You sighed to yourself, contemplating calling one of your friends to help you. But you really didn’t want them knowing where your new apartment was until you were completely moved in. You wanted your brand new apartment to at least stand a chance against the wrath of party-obsessed college students.

I’m gonna need to set some clear boundaries with them at some point, you thought. You were sick and tired of them throwing huge parties without even warning you first.

Calling them was definitely out of the question..but what to do?

You sat in the trunk of your car for a few moments, thinking of a solution. But then, you heard someone walking towards the elevator and you looked up to see a cute boy walking with a younger girl. They both definitely stood out in a crowd. Especially the boy. His hair was white—not bleach blonde—literally white. You were thinking of asking them for help, but they looked rather busy. So you kept to yourself.

When you looked back down to scroll on your phone while you thought of what to do, you heard the elevator doors closing in the background, but you heard someone walking up to you. When you looked up, it was the white haired boy!

Seeing him up close, he was really pretty. His eyes were like nothing you’d seen before.

After noticing his pretty face, you noticed his haircut. It was even stranger than his hair color. But oddly enough, you thought it fit his face.

You were confused as to why he was walking up to you though. Did he think you were loitering?

“Uh..I live here, by the way.” You mumbled.

“Hm? Oh, I assumed. Do you need an extra pair of hands?”

“Oh! Yes, actually. I’ve been trying to figure out how to get my bed frame and mattress inside my new apartment for a while now. It’s too heavy for me to carry on my own. And to make things worse, it doesn’t fit in the elevator.”

He nodded, “okay, I’ll help you!”

When he walked over to the bed frame and you joined, he and you lifted it off the ground, and he told you his name.

“Damn this is heavy..I’m Atsushi Nakajima. What’s your name?”

You struggled to get your name out considering how heavy the bed frame was, but you eventually got it out.

After Atsushi gained some footing, he was carrying practically all of the weight. You were barely even lifting it anymore. You felt bad, but he didn’t seem to mind. He didn’t even seem to notice. Damn, he’s strong.

You two repeated that entire process again with the mattress, and he was breathing heavily and slightly sweaty from all of the heavy lifting. You weren’t really because you barely had to lift a finger..

“There you go, can you set up your bed on your own?”

“Yeah, I can. I’m pretty good with that kinda stuff.”

Atsushi nodded, standing up and realizing that your apartment was right next door to his! He was so focused on getting the bed frame up and in your room he didn’t even realize.

“Oh, that’s funny..I’m right next door!”

You had some questions for him, but you decided against asking. He seemed tired.

As Atsushi started walking to his front door, he reached his hand into his pocket for his room key. When his keys started jiggling, you quickly blurted out a thank you before it was too late and he was already in the door.

“Thank you..! I don’t know what I would’ve done if you didn’t help me.”

He turned his head over to you and smiled, “it’s not a problem! Have a nice day.”

“You too…”

The next day, you were sore from all the heavy lifting. It was a day off from school and you didn’t start work till later, so you slept in hoping to sleep off the soreness.

You were thinking about that cute boy all last night. He was very friendly. You were also curious about the young girl he was living with. Maybe they were siblings?

You ended up not being able to get more sleep because you were unable to stop thinking about them.

So, you decided to get up and walk around town a little bit. You had moved to a new part of Yokohama, so you didn’t know it very well. When you got all ready and stepped out the door, you saw Atsushi as well.

“Oh..hello.” You mumbled.

Atsushi smiled again, “hey, what a coincidence! Where are you headed?”

“Oh nowhere..just walking around town. I haven’t been to this part of Yokohama much.”

“I’m headed to work right now. I can show you around while I walk there if you want.”

“Oh, sure.” You were surprised at how friendly he was.

You smiled back at him.

Once you were on the sidewalk, you started asking the questions you had yesterday.

“So..who is the girl you live with? You look way too young to be her dad..”

Atsushi started sputtering at your question.

“No..! I am definitely not her dad..” his face was bright red. It was cute.

Atsushi calmed himself down, then finally responded.

“We work together. We’re really close, you could say we’re like family, I guess.”

Atsushi looked content thinking about her. It was sweet.

“Who is she?”

“Her name is Kyouka, she’s fourteen.”

“That’s really sweet. Why do you guys live there?”

“Well, we used to live in an apartment that our work supplied to us for free, but it was a one room apartment. I wanted Kyouka to get the bed and some privacy, so I slept in the closet on a tiny futon..”

“In the closet??” You giggled a little bit at the absurdity of it all.

“I mean, it wasn’t that bad! But then I started getting crazy back problems so we decided to move into a two bedroom apartment so I could actually have a room to myself. Our paychecks aren't huge but when we split the rent between the two of us it’s pretty easy to afford.”

You took in his story, again chuckling at how ridiculous it was.

“You guys seem really close..it’s really cute.”

“Aha..thanks. How about you?”

“Oh, me? My story isn’t nearly as interesting. I had some old roommates who pissed me off, so I asked my boss for a raise so I could move into an apartment on my own.”

Atsushi gave a crooked smile at how blunt you were. “What did they do?”

“Just typical annoying roommate things..not doing any of the cleaning, throwing obnoxiously loud parties without telling me beforehand, and more…”

Atsushi looked at you while you were talking, and he really couldn’t keep his eyes off you. You were really beautiful. And your conversations seemed to flow so well despite you guys barely even knowing each other..it was perfect.

He eventually realized he wasn’t even listening to what you were saying, he was just staring at you. When you suddenly asked him a question, he suddenly realized he hadn’t heard a word you’d said for the last few minutes.

“Sorry..repeat that..?”

“I asked where you work! I mean they’re calling you in on a Saturday. Not a ton of places do that.”

“Oh, um..” Atsushi looked up, trying to reprogram his brain to start working again.

“Oh, it’s actually right here! It’s the Armed Detective Agency.”

“What?? That’s such a cool place to work!” You looked excited, but then Atsushi suddenly looked worried when you guys saw a tall guy in bandages, so you piped down, looking worried.

“What’s up, Atsushi?”

“I didn’t know Dazai was working today..he’s never gonna let me live this down..”

“Hm?” You looked confused.

“Bye, I’ll see you later!” Atsushi said as he scurried off and to the front door of a cafe.

You kept an eyebrow raised, confused.

“Heyy, Atsushiii—who's the pretty person you walked with here?” This ‘Dazai’ guy was making sure to talk as loud as possible, and it made you chuckle. That’s what Atsushi meant.

“Sh-shut up, Dazai! You’re so embarrassing..!” Atsushi yelled while he pushed Dazai inside of the cafe. Once Atsushi got Dazai inside and slammed the door shut, he peeked his head out the door and waved goodbye sheepishly.

You waved back, smiling to yourself.

Next time, you should ask him about his coworkers. That’ll definitely get the conversation lively.

This is Dazai being surprised that Atsushi does not view him as the inhuman, removed identity that he portrayed for so long. Atsushi does not see Dazai the way himself and many others have always viewed him. Because of this, Atsushi has been able to reach Dazai in ways that nobody ever really has before.
