everyone is always like "I'm so embarrassed of your 14yo self, my 14yo self was cringe, I can't think about what I used to do at 14 and want to bank my head on the wall".
lol. lmao even. I'm proud of my 14yo self, they had everything going for them. they watched the best cartoons and made bad art and had silly ideas for stories that they never wrote, they went to their first convention with a shitty baymax costume they whipped out in 30 minutes, they had time in the afternoon to play free-to-play online games with online friends they only knew through the chat.
I still have the exact same interests as that kid, the only difference is I have more skill and less time to express it.

Licensing is Fine (repost from patreon)
Tumblr media
Folks, It's happening. After 10 (11 now) years of the "This is Fine" meme taking over the world slowly, I have asked politely if now would be a good time to license the shit out of it. And the crowd shouted "YES!"
Tumblr media
Not only do we have this Brand New Talking Figurine coming out soon (designed by Grayson Evans, who is taking commissions right now) (the figure goes on sale 4/2 and is now available for preorder. It will also be available wherever books are sold), but I am also working with several other companies on buttons, pins, patches, calendars, and etc. Basically, the next time you go to Hot Topic or FYE and see all those patches and pins at the front, near the registers, you will most likely find some OFFICIAL This is Fine merch hanging out there too.
Tumblr media
We also have some specialty soft enamel pins coming out (or possibly already out) from Zen Monkey Studios featuring panel pins and cooler designs of Question Hound in both of his moods. I believe you will find these in the same physical places as the other pins Or you can order em online!
Plus a lot more we're still working on/waiting for. New shirts comin' at ya soon that you can find AT A MALL! I got an agent and he's doing his best routine of e-mailing folks on my behalf and asking if there's interest in "this is fine" and most of them say "sure!" so I guess there's some room for me after all.
All of this is to simply inform you, the public! Yes, there will always be bootleggers. But they don't matter in the long run. And Yes, I still have my Topatoco store of "This is Fine" merch as well. That won't go anywhere either. I'm just expanding my scope, cus this little dog is gettin' bigger than I ever expected to be in charge of. But don't fret, for my hand is GLUED to the wheel.

Okay than you for your time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The four figurines on the table in Shiho's trained Unbeatable Gaze 4* represent the members of Leo/need. An apple for Honami (whose favorite food is apple pie), a cactus for Ichika (whose hobby is taking care of her cactus), a pegasus for Saki (Tenma literally means pegasus), and a hedgehog for Shiho.
Tumblr media
The hedgehog toy for Shiho is a more obscure reference. It previously appeared on her Unwavering Enamel Jacket costume, where it's attached to one of the chain accessories she is wearing.

mabel and dipper's life after getting back home (random headcanons)
mabel forces dipper into improving his hygiene because she doesn't want him to be bullied in school for it
the twins make sure they get into the same classes/courses every year because they can't bear to spend that time apart
dipper spends his time in class writing a journal of his own, but passes every class with the highest grade anyway (and ford is very proud of him)
mabel spends classes doodling and struggles sometimes, but dipper is always there to help her out with anything she doesn't understand
both dipper's writing and mabel's drawings are mainly their summer adventures at first
after that dipper indulges in findings and theories of their own
both twins develop insomnia after weirdmageddon and sneak out quite frequently
they don't necessarily do anything they are forbidden from, sometimes they just go and sit somewhere like they did on the roof of the shack
it's not long after they get back from gravity falls that their parents announce they're getting a divorce and actually spend the summertime living separately
dipper regularly turns his wall into a huge 'clue board', with the red string and all (he uses every occasion to do that, even if it's not a mystery or even necessary at all)
both fill their room with lots of trinkets; mabel starts collecting figurines, keychains and buttons (and keeps collecting stickers), dipper collects enamel pins
both acquired a set of certain skills from their time in gravity falls, that come in quite handy sometimes not to say they sneak and break into some places frequently, but... ya'know
mabel starts gambling with other students and nobody knows how and when she got so good at it. she never uses her powers for evil but she will play robin hood (the money of bullies will end up in the hands of poorer kids with no lunch money)
anytime someone mentions unicorns or how mabel used to love them, she will wrinkle her nose and refuses to talk about them
dipper will often have moments where he thinks he sees someone from gravity falls and almost calls out for them, when he realises that it is someone else. it gets particularly bad when an older ginger student starts at their school
he also sometimes thinks he hears bill and gets a little paranoid, the only one who can help him not spiralling into a panic attack on a bad day is mabel
mabel refuses to do arts and crafts with triangles fro a while, until she decides bill won't ruin her favourite activities and the spite helps her not being too paranoid about it
-------------------------------------------------- thank you for reading <3 reblogs are appreciated
a/n: i could go on for a while longer, but i think i'll stop here and put more into another post; also i need to articulate them better than i am capable rn so stay tuned if you want to see more of these as well as for other characters and gf in general :D (i already have more on the way)

My review for tadc episode 3
SPOILER ALERT
• The “Jax is an NPC” theory is given more evidence now, there’s now:
- Jax breaking the 4th wall
- His voice glitching out when he talks about his Animateez figurine(it’s subtle so turn up the volume to hear it clearer)
- The key motif surrounding him
- His enamel pin only showing his door and the void leaking in his picture and his name tag being broken
- And now him not showing what happens to him when he hold his breath
• This episode came out just in time for Halloween 🎃
• Seeing Caine break down upon hearing that nobody really like his adventures and causing the world to break apart is concerning considering he’s the main AI in this show. His coding begins to break when he realizes he’s not good at the one thing he’s good at. I have a feeling that it’s gonna be a plot point going on
• Zooble hating their body hits close to me. As someone who suffers with gender dysphoria, it makes me feel closer to their character as a whole
• KINGER AND QUEENIE SHIPPERS WE CALLED IT
• “7 years of computer science huh?” I had a feeling that Kinger was some kind of game developer at C&A but I didn’t know that it’s true
• That Kinger scene, oh my fucking god. The darkness allows him to remember and keep his sanity intact. And him comforting Pomni when she breaks down is heartbreaking. And that scene when they cross the hallway of damned souls where they both hold their breath and Kinger glowing in the dark as they made their way out AAAAUUGH ITS SO EMOTIONAL 😭 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That’s my review for episode three. This one is hard to write because of how impactful it is
Imagine accidentally summoning Morpheus [Part 2]
The cardboard box had your name written on it in sharpie and judging by the amount of dust collected on the lid, it must have been waiting for you for at least a decade. According to your grandmother, everything inside was a remnant of your early childhood when she would take care of you when your parents couldn't. All of it was waiting for the day you become an adult and, to your grandmother's nostalgic dissatisfaction, that day had come a little faster than she wished.
Upon opening the box and coughing up your lungs with the old dust, you heard yourself gasp at the very first thing you lay your eyes on: a music box.
"Please, tell me you still work," you whispered to yourself as you hurriedly took it out.
The enamel was chipped away in many places but not enough to make the trinket in any way ugly. Its black paint and golden decorations took you back to all the sleepless nights when your grandmother would wind the music box up and let it play your insomnia away. "You'll be asleep before the song ends," she used to assure you. And she never once was wrong.
Carefully, you lifted the porcelain-covered lid. Inside, the figurine of a black raven was still taking flight, even after all those years when it was hidden away in a cardboard box somewhere between Christmas decorations and VHS tapes no one watched anymore. The inside of the music box was just as dark as the outside except for the tiny, white dots that were meant to resemble stars as though the black bird was always flying away into the night sky.
You turned the winding key countless times or so it seemed. When you felt that it wouldn't turn anymore, you excitedly retracted your hand, expecting the sweet melody of childhood to resound in your ears once more.
The raven figurine turned slowly as the equally slow melody began playing. Curiously, you never did learn what song it was as you have never heard it anywhere else. A grimace appeared on your face as you listened to the high-pitched, bright sounds: the melody in minor key sounded a lot darker, creepier, than you remembered it. Maybe the fang of time had already gnawed on the music box? Perhaps it was simply out of tune and you had to find someone capable of fixing it.
"Why have you summoned me?"
The low voice behind you made you fall over. Scurrying away in fear, you turned around only to see a tall, thin man in a long coat. His hair was dishevelled and its dark, raven-like shade made his pasty skin appear only lighter. Suddenly, you noticed the air in your bedroom smelling somewhat sweet and stale like fruit in an antique bookshop. His blue eyes remained strangely expressionless as he stared at you.
Even if you did know what to say, you were physically incapable of doing so. Who was he? How did he get in? And what on Earth did he mean by 'summon'? Your heart was thundering in your chest and you quickly began feeling trouble catching your breath. Fearful blankness wove a nest in your thoughts. A cold sweat run down your back.
"I know your face," he spoke again as he slowly walked towards you, "although long years had gone by since I last saw you."
Your back hit the wall - there was nowhere else to run from the stranger. He, to your horror, only continued his stroll in your direction. Panting, you looked around if there was anything you could use to defend yourself from the trespasser but a cardboard lid wasn't a weapon in any way or meaning. As it befits prey, you simply waited.
But his hand was never once raised against you. When the stranger stood right in front of you, he silently extended reached his arm to you to help you get up. With great hesitation, you took it.
"I must confess I did harbour some hope that you might remember me," he said once you had gotten up. "Alas, we are strangers once more."
You didn't believe him, not for a second. Had you ever met such an odd men, equally intimidating as he was gentle, you'd surely remember him or at least recognize his features as familiar. But you did not.
In a trembling voice, you managed to stutter out a response: "I have no idea who you are... sir."
For a moment, he appeared somewhat upset, vacantly looking towards the floor. "I know," he quietly answered in a raspy voice.
