I just read Devidha by Vijay Dan Detha and I think it’s fucking hilarious that when the bhoot saw the bride it found her so beautiful that it passed the fuck out for like a full day
#😭😭#Paheli was literally almost a beat for beat adaptation except for Juhi Chawla’s character and the camel race#and also the ending#reminds me of the little mermaid like she deserved a win I think#the bhoot in Paheli was a bit more mischevious and clever but the bhoot in the story has such a sort of innocent charm#I love them both
