I'm watching hannibal again and the scenes with Jack and Bella still hit me so hard...

Ok, it’s actually very simple.

Will is the protagonist, but he is not the hero.

Jack Crawford is the hero and he is fundamentally good.

Jack Crawford’s enemy is Hannibal Lecter, but he doesn’t know that because he thinks his enemy is the Chesapeake Ripper.

Hannibal is not always the Chesapeake Ripper, but no one else is allowed to be, because to take someone else’s place is Rude.

Bedelia DuMauier is not Rude by Hannibal’s standards, so she believes herself safe, and she is until she takes Will Graham’s place, then she joins Randell Tier and Francis Dolerhyde, in making Will Graham feel as though he is not Unique, then she is fair game to be hunted.

Hunting is different from fishing because the concepts of Stalk vs Lure.

Garrett Jacob Hobbs is a Stalk, and Will kills him as such despite the fact that Will is actually a Lure, but so is Abigail. Will is god, but not Jesus, except for when he’s Abigail. Hannibal is the Devil except for when he’s god.

Alana and Abigail both make deals with the Devil, which they know will eventually lead to their deaths, but Alana isn’t divine, she is always human, so Hannibal looks more human when she’s with him, but Will looks less human when she’s with him because she accentuates where he fails.

Will is a dog, but he isn’t a dog at all, he’s a wolf.

Margot is a horse but she isn’t allowed to run free until she’s a human, but she is not divine, nor is she good or evil, which is why Alana gets close enough to break her curse.

Hannibal is the Wendigo, because the Wendigo is his true nature, but he is not the Stag, however sometimes the Stag is the Wendigo, because the Stag is a representation of the relationship of two people and Hannibal is never really Will, even when he’s pretending to be, but sometimes Will is Hannibal, and sometimes they’ve become too conjoined to tell apart.

Miriam Lass is Jack’s greatest failure, because she was an innocent he threw into the jaws of a monster, and she came back forever broken, but then Jack’s greatest failure was Bella, who was not a failure at all, just someone he couldn’t save, which to him is the same, although her loss is without spectacle or bloodshed, and then Jack’s greatest failure was Will, first in not believing him, and then in ignoring all evidence in order to believe in him out of guilt, but not trust.

Fredrick Chilton strips away the dignity and autonomy of others, so he gains the gift of an identity he tried to pawn off, and the destruction of his own body while he survives to bear the next indignity.

Freddie Lounds speaks truth, but she also lies, and is often believed.

Hannibal lies and is believed, but he also speaks truth and is not.

Will lies through not telling the truth, the deepest truths he speaks are ignored until it’s too late even though he is expected to know all truths.

Molly is no one and nothing, until Will, and then she is alone in a world of monsters.

Hannibal desires attention, and to be admired for being clever. Will has the ability, but he doesn’t have the initial desire because Hannibal does not interest him.

Will does not have a desire to be understood, but he does desire to be seen as unique.

Chiyoh has mastered the balancing act. She can kill, but does not overkill, has been manipulated, but not blinded, understands, but does not overstep into claiming to know, she can see violence as love, but she understands the abnormality of that, so she survives and gets to walk away without a scratch on her.

To love is to accept death, whatever form that takes, your partner’s, your own, those your parent has caused, or the ones you have caused.

It makes perfect sense that the most absolute form of love is to cause death by your partner’s side, and wish for both of your deaths in return.

Since Victoria's Secret is making a return this Fall, I decided to make a post about models! I made this observation with a handful of models so apologies if I forgot any. Now without further ado, let's get to the post.

✿ Fama in pisces or pisces degrees tend to pop up frequently in models charts. Upon more research I found that Neptune influenced Fama's tend to make big names for themselves within the modeling industry.

✿ I think it makes sense to see models have more neptunian influence as neptune rules over photography. Additionally, neptune rules idealism and the modeling industry is one of the most glamourized and idealized industry. My idea is that many of these runway models have neptunian influence because their fama (what one may be known for) fits well to the industry's demands.

I owe y'all an explanation regarding the antithesis between Hannibal and the bee lady.

So in that episode, the bee lady "helps" her patients find peace by relieving their pain and giving them a peaceful death. In this context she plays the role of an executioner.

In the same episode, Bella Crawford is also dealing with great amounts of pain and seeking an executioner to relieve her from her struggle. She chooses Hannibal.

Hannibal, more than in any other episode, appears to be in control of both life and death. He tosses the coin gifted by Bella in order to decide her destiny and ends up saving her life. This is in contrast to what the bee lady was doing to her patients since she was offering them a way to let go of their pain.

Bella wanted the same thing but Hannibal doesn't like it when a major event is not caused by his own decisions. Flipping the coin gives him some sort of control over the situation. He does not want to be her executioner unless it's on his own terms.

This last bit is however something that he and the bee lady share. They both made decisions for their patients. The bee lady's patients had never said they wanted to die. She did kill them cause she was sure that was the best cure for them. Bella wanted to die but Hannibal decided it was not the time.

Fire Country Season 1

apparently, some very lovely people on Tumblr asked for a quick review on Fire Country and since I'm already bingeing hard on this, why not?! (Some spoilers in the review, please proceed with caution). This one's for you @idontknow-1213 and @sounknownvoid 🤗🤗

For those who don't know the show, it starts with Bode Donovan (actually a Leone but changes his name to Donovan) in prison applying for a program to be a firefighter. It's all good and lovely, until the day he starts the program and is assigned to a firefighter camp, Three Rock in Edgewater, his hometown. Ghost of his past actions (revealed later) have him conflicted about being back home and he requests for a transfer but of course ends up staying. Throughout the season, Bode struggles to build the bridges with friends and family that were burnt long ago, all the while striving to be a better person. He believes if given a chance, people can change.

Now let's talk about some key characters!

Bode Donovan (Leone): our protagonist, though looks like a guy you wanna don't cross, thanks to the muscular build, long hair and prison tats, he is actually sweet but deeply misunderstood guy. He takes his job as a firefighter very seriously and is not afraid to defy an order if it means saving people. I mean you can't always play by the books, right? One thing I noticed about him is though he is out of prison (in a way), he still goes by the prison law. Bode has a long way to go.

Manny Perez: Captain of Three Rock, Gabriela's father and Bode's mentor. He keeps the inmates in line but also believes in them and has their backs. He comes to appreciate Bode's knack at being a natural firefighter and regards him highly. Unfortunately, Manny has his own demons he tries to fight on the side. This is also why Manny relates to the inmates because he shares a similar past. I like his character. He is a man who learnt a lot the hard way. Quite hard bitten like that.

Sharon Leone: Division Chief Sharon Leone is Bode's mother (gasp!). She is also sick (kidney disease, it sucks) so she requests Manny to keep Bode in the camp and he does. While Sharon has a soft spot for her incarcerated son, she is headstrong and damn good at her job (woman knows her shit and how to make it work). She is a total badass and popular among men (I mean, seriously what's with other men hitting on her like she's single cause she ain't?!)

Vince Leone: that's Bode's dad (and if you are a huge Twilight geek like me, you would recognise him as Chief Charlie Swan, Bella's father) who doesn't want to be Bode's dad because he is the reason why his daughter, Riley dies. (Not really, he thinks he is but accidents happen and the catalyst is someone else). So Vince hasn't forgiven Bode for this until the real guy confesses and Vince is stuck in a situation that brings back old memories. What's Vince like? A devoted husband (except for that one incident), a good firefighter and a girl dad that's hard on his son. And did y'all know, the actor Billy Burke is a damn good singer??!

Gabriela Perez: Manny's Olympic-swimmer-turned-firefighter daughter. Honestly, when I first saw the cast, I expected Gabz to be a lot stronger but she's just a sweet girl next door that's trying to follow her heart, conflicted to choose between swimming and firefighting, just like Jake and Bode. Sparks fly between her and Bode as they try to balance their feelings among other chaos. Although, they are still not my favorite couple. I prefer Vince and Sharon (tooth rooting couple goals!!). I honestly wanted to like her but she comes with unnecessary baggages and is a bit of a crybaby (sorry!) but whoever is incharge of her costume, needs a raise. Her wardrobe is really pretty 😍

Jake Crawford: ex boyfriend to Gabz and ex friend to Bode. They have a fallout when Bode discovers Jake cheated on Riley which ultimately led to her demise. And honestly, I was prepared to hate Jake (no, it has nothing to do with Jake reminding me of Jacob Black from Twilight) and while he starts off as a jackass, towards the end of season 1, they redeemed him well. He is also serious about his job and his new love interest (thank God!) Cara who happens to be Bode's ex! (Yeah, they date in the family, it seems like🤣) he respects the Leones (Vince and Sharon, I mean)

Eve Edwards: (is it just me or that's too many Twilight references already? 🙊) a part of Bode, Jake and Eve trio friendship, she is funny but doesn't sugarcoat it. She is fiercely loyal and hardworking. They start exploring her character towards the end of season 1

Freddy Mills: Inmate at Three Rock camp and Bode's friend. Their camaraderie is commendable. Both are loyal to each other and have each other's back. I think Bode needed a friend like him. So that's good. Plus, he wants to marry a girl named Cookie!

Throughout the season, Bode tries to prove he is worthy of being at Three Rock, worthy of Gabriela's love but with his own conflicted nature and Sleeper, an inmate from Bode's past comes to stir trouble, it creates a challenge, leaving Bode with a difficult choices to make.

I honestly went in blind with Fire Country. At first, I was just going to see the episode with Camden in it (duh!) but I decided to give the show a try and I'm glad I did. What I love about this show is, if you have seen Walker, it will give similar family vibes. The entire Cal Fire unit works like a family including Three Rock as they fight fire side by side. The whole romance between Bode and Gabz is not in your face (which is nice) but the chemistry between Vince and Sharon is too cute to ignore. The first few episodes are a bit slow as they set the tone but then the show ups the stakes progressively. It is quite intense at times and you can feel the heat (no pun intended) on your face. I love that the show takes the time to scratch beneath the surface for each of its characters and not just the main ones, giving them a certain depth. I didn't expect to like the show as much as I do! But it's quite refreshing and a bit different than your regular crime/cop procedural shows. All I can say is Max Thieriot, who I know from his The Pacifiers time, has done a great job as an EP.

I believe we've been robbed. From the interaction between Will Graham and Bella Crawford. I know they didn't have to meet because Will was just her husband's subordinate, but both the Crawfords and Will, like a lot of other people, were invited to dinner at Hannibal Lecter's house. Bella was so precious! Just imagine the interaction between her and Will. She was also observant, so maybe she even noticed Hannibal's feelings for Will? I'm imagining her rolling mentally her eyes over how clueless her husband and the object of Hannibal's affection are, while at the same time thinking: “One way or another these two will end up together.”

TRAIN - WILL GRAHAM'S SLEEPER CABIN - DUSK-

They sit opposite one another in a sleeper cabin -- two chairs beside the window with a table, bunk beds and a small bathroom. Old wood. A taste of a Europe from days gone by. The train's RATTLE and CLACK is a constant background. “Hannibal would burn all kinds of barks and incense for me to identify by scent alone. He was charming the way a cub is charming, a small cub that grows up to be like one of the big cats.”

“One you can't play with later.”

“The day I met Hannibal, he was an orphan. I was meant to meet him with his sister, but he was alone.”

“How did you meet him?”

“I was his aunt's attendant. My parents sent me to learn from Lady Murasaki when I was just a girl. I learned from Hannibal, too. He had all the wisdom in miniature.” 

“He comes in the guise of a mentor, but it's distress that excites him.” I say, in all the years ive known Hannibal lecter ive known this statement to be true. “I'm not in distress.” I laugh softly, silly girl. “Not anymore. You had a strict rule about taking life and you broke it. Is it on your mind? Do you see killing him over and over?”

“No. I see you. How do you know Hannibal's in Florence?”

“Botticelli.” Will hands her an Uffizi Gallery POSTCARD of the Primavera.

“When we find him, I will have steady hands and a slow heart. Will you?” Will offers a faint smile, glances out the window. She stares at him a moment, then glances outside herself. “I've never been to Italy. I never expected to. Birds eat thousands of snails every day. Some of those snails survive digestion and emerge to find they've traveled the world.”

“In the belly of the beast.” Chiyoh stares at The Couple, then her attention drifts back to the

window and the passing landscape. through the window, the landscape is revealed to be…

PONTE SANTA TRINITÀ - EARLY MORNING-

The arch of the bridge is still quiet as we find JACK CRAWFORD moving across the span. The splendor of ancient Florence around him. The calm waters of the Arno reflecting the gaily-yellow

buildings crowding either bank. Jack walks to the center of the bridge, the Arno River stretching in either direction. The Ponte Vecchio downriver from him.

We now see Jack carries an URN, and he rests it on the edge of the bridge. Watches sunlight dance on the water. A wistful smile. And then Jack lifts the lid from the urn, dips in a hand and

lifts out Bella's ashes. some escape on the light breeze. He leans out and drops them into the water. Watches as they dapple the surface and disappear.

Another handful. And then another. And then he tips the urn and the ashes fall in a sudden rush to the water below… As he releases Bella's remains to the sun-kissed waters. Ponders his hand stained with her ashes, then removes his wedding ring and tosses it into the river. The wedding ring drifts away into dark waters.

PAZZI'S APARTMENT - DINING ROOM - NIGHT-

Jack sits at a table with PAZZI and his beautiful wife, ALLEGRA, in the midst of setting the table. She notices Jack's ring finger and the depression above his knuckle. “You've recently stopped wearing your wedding ring.”

“You've just started wearing yours.”

“I have a young and lovely wife. Her efforts have ground twelve pounds off my frame.”

“La Vita Nuova.” She kisses Pazzi and pours wine. “Divorced?”

“Widowed. I met her in Italy. It's strange being here without her.”

“What was her name?”

“Bella.”

“To Bella. Cin-cin.” They drink and Allegra moves back to the kitchen. Pazzi glances at his wife through the door. “I look at her and I think about all the things I want to give her…”

“How you want to appear in her eyes.”

“Certainly not in my present role at the Questura. I perform menial errands found for me by my former subordinates. Interviews in missing-person cases. They've enjoyed my fall from grace.” Jack considers that and realizes: “You weren't in Palermo on official police business.” Pazzi blinks, caught. “Neither were you.”

“Are your subordinates at the Questura aware that you're investigating Hannibal Lecter?”

“Questura headquarters is located in a former mental hospital. Madness still lives there. I'll tell them when I know it's Lecter that I'm investigating.”

“You already know.”

“I need to be certain. I am disgraced and out of fortune. I have been waiting for the whisper of the ax for far too long.”

“It's inclined you toward a dangerous game outside the law. I've played that game. I lost.” Allegra enters with a bowl of beautiful pasta.

“How do you behave when you know the conventional honors have no value? Is it possible to behave well then? Desirable to behave well then?” Allegra eyes her husband as she takes a seat at the table. “Let's eat.” Jack as he studies Pazzi...

TRAIN - WILL GRAHAM'S SLEEPER CABIN - NIGHT-

-- lying in his bed, staring into middle distance. Stroking Y/N’s hair as she rests on his chest. The lights are dim as they ready to sleep. The water closet door slides open revealing Chiyoh in a robe. She quietly enters and crosses to her bed, climbing inside without a word. She stares into middle distance just as Will had been doing. A long moment of silence, then: “Do you want me to talk so you don't have to? Or would you rather I not talk at all? Can talk or not talk.” Will says as he strokes my hair, “Are we obligated to talk?”

“No.”

“Strange to talk so much. Not used to hearing voices outside my head.”

“I hear voices from all directions.”

“I become aware of words no one is saying. Words that spoke to me in the gnawing sameness of my days.”

“In the gnawing sameness of your days, did you look at the shape of things? At what you were becoming?”

“I wasn't becoming anything. I was standing still. Exactly where he left me standing. Like taxidermy.”

“Hollowed out and filled with something else.”

“Not something else. I'm not as malleable as you both are. You have a taste for it now.”

“A taste for what?” I ask as I sit up, With the help of Will. Chiyoh looks me in the eyes,“Harm.”

She's right but that's at no fault of Hannibals’, I had violence and bloodshed boiling inside me since i was born. Guess that's What happens when your mom was a serial killer. And you know what. I’m glad I killed her, my motivation for killing her wasn't out of self preservation or defense. No. If anything it was out of rage and spite and revenge. 

My motivations toward my mother were  similar to Hannibal’s with the Caged man. Both took people we were supposed to protect. I had 6 younger brothers, and not one survived my mother.  “Do you?”

“I was violent when it was the right thing to do, when I was obliged to do it. But I think you like it.” She continues to stare daggers at me, I smile simply. “Violence can be a powerful means to regulate someone's behavior.”

“Are you regulating Hannibal's behavior or is he regulating yours?”

“We all afforded each other an experience we may not otherwise have had.”

“You've afforded me an experience I would not otherwise have had. If you don't kill him, you're afraid you're going to become him.” And that's where she's wrong. If anything, I'm afraid of becoming my mother. “No.”

“There are means of influence other than violence.”

PALAZZO CAPPONI - ATROCIOUS TORTURE EXHIBIT - DAY-

Chiaroscuro light. Display cases containing the tools with which to inflict savagery on the human body. Various WORKERS, dressed in coveralls, unpack torture instruments from crates. Pazzi as he crosses toward a silhouetted figure overlooking the exhibit. “Dr. Fell?”

“Yes.”

“I am Inspector Pazzi of the Questura di Firenze.” As Hannibal turns, his face is illuminated in a fine shaft of sunlight. White curator's gloves on his hands. He almost staggers. It's been twenty years since he last saw his prime suspect for the il Mostro case, and here he is.  Hannibal's eyes betray no recognition. “I was wondering if you ever met your predecessor?”

HANNIBAL

“Never met him. Read several of his monographs in the Nuova Antologia.”

“I know the officers who first investigated checked the Palazzo for any sort of note -- farewell note, suicide note -- found nothing.”

“The going assumption is, he eloped with a woman and her money.”

“What is the going assumption regarding Professor Sogliato?”

“Still no word?”

“You may have had the last word with Sogliato. Your colleague…Signor Albizzi, tells me no one has spoken to Professor Sogliato since he declined your invitation to dinner. He is the second to have disappeared from the Palazzo.” Pazzi is keenly aware of the workers in the background, giving him some semblance of safety with il Mostro.

“Like any good investigator, I'm sure you're sifting the circumstances for profit.” Pazzi's wheels spin as he surreptitiously studies Hannibal. “Both were bachelors, well-respected scholars with orderly lives. They had some savings, nothing much.” Hannibal reacts, recognizing something in Pazzi. "Commendatore Pazzi?”

“Yes.”

“I think you are a Pazzi of the Pazzi, am I correct?”

“How did you know that?”

“You resemble a figure from the Della Robbia rondels in your family's chapel at Santa Croce.”

“Ah, that was Andrea de' Pazzi depicted as John the Baptist.”

“Then there's the most-famous Pazzi of all: Francesco. He attempted to assassinate Lorenzo the Magnificent in the cathedral, at Mass, in 1478.”

“Yes, the Pazzi family were all brought low on that Sunday. If you come upon anything, Dr. Fell, anything personal from the missing men, would you call me?”

“Of course, Commendator Pazzi.” He nods to Hannibal and then walks away, plucking a brochure on THE EXHIBITION OF ATROCIOUS TORTURE INSTRUMENTS as he

Exits. Hannibal as Pazzi WIPES by, leaving us on a still Hannibal watching him go.

TRAIN - CABOOSE PASSAGEWAY - NIGHT-

the darkened corridor, finding the door to the rear platform. A silhouette framed against the night

outside. Will moves smoothly along the passageway, in slippers, a coat covering his nightwear.

TRAIN - CABOOSE REAR PLATFORM - NIGHT-

Chiyoh stands with Y/N, braced against the railing, staring out into the darkness unfurling behind the train. Will watches The Women from inside the caboose a moment, then joins them. The wind whips at them both.

“I like the night. It's more than a period of time; it's another place. It's different from where we are during the day.” Chiyoh comments by his arrival 

“We're different from who we are during the day. Little more hidden, little less seen.” I say as I stroke my belly, feeling a soft kick from within. “When life is most like a dream.” Will stares at her a moment, studying her. Coming up next to his Fiancee. “Why are you searching for him? What are you hoping to find?” He asks the Woman beside us. 

“I'm not searching for Hannibal. I know exactly where he is.”

“Is he in Florence?”

“Yes.”

“Why didn't you tell us you knew?”

“I told you there are means of influence other than violence.  But violence is what you understand.” And with that, Chiyoh shoves Will violently over the railing, sending him ass over teakettle into the night. Before I can register it I’m shoved Overboard as well. Who the fuck shoves a pregnant lady off a train?!?! 

PALAZZO CAPPONI - ATROCIOUS TORTURE EXHIBIT - DUSK-

Strauss does his best to provide a relaxing blanket of sound over the cacophony of restorers working in the background. He enters with a wood case under his arm. There's no sign of Hannibal as he glances around the room, nodding to the restorers who stare back at him, absent of any friendly demeanor.

A cloth rests on a display case in the middle of the room. On it -- a small picnic. A glass of wine, some good cheese, a beautiful pear with a single bite taken out of it. “Buonasera, commendatore.” Pazzi looks up. Hannibal is standing perfectly still on the other side of the room. Was he there all this time? “Buonasera, Dottor Fell.”

“Back so soon?” Pazzi sets his wooden case on top of Hannibal's desk as Hannibal approaches, carving another bite mark out of the pear in slices and eating them. He watches Pazzi's face. “Given the nature of your exhibition and the content of our last conversation, I brought something I thought you might like to see.”

Pazzi opens the case. Inside there is A SCOLD'S BRIDLE -- a Renaissance torture device that resembles an ornate-butgrotesque metal mask fitted with a wicked, barbed mouth bit. “It was supposedly worn by Francesco de' Pazzi when he met his end. My family's guilt cast in iron.”

“A scold's bridle. May I?” Pazzi watches closely as Hannibal goes to pick up the mask. His fingers will leave prints all over the burnished metal. “Of course.

Hannibal sets his knife down and produces soft curator's gloves, slipping them on and taking the bridle from its case. “A wonderful heirloom.” As Hannibal studies the piece, the restorers in the background leave the room.

“I'm so glad you stopped by, Commendator Pazzi, as I found another family heirloom for you.”

Hannibal goes to a low cabinet under a display case. Pazzi watches Hannibal's back to him as he unlocks the case, watching Pazzi's reflection in the glass. Pazzi notices the Harpy knife Hannibal has left by the halfeaten pear. 

There, on the hasp -- Hannibal's fingerprints. Pazzi eyes Hannibal, then smoothly picks up the knife with his handkerchief and slips it quickly into his pocket. Hannibal produces an OLD WOODCARVING of a man hanged by his neck -- his entrails snaking down around his feet.

“Beneath the figure is written his name. Can you make it out?”

“It says, "Pazzi."”

“This is your ancestor, Francesco, hanging outside the Palazzo. This particular illustration is bowels out. I've seen others bowels in. By all accounts, Francesco was led astray by thirty pieces of silver from the hand of the Papal banker.”

Yes, the archbishop, in all his holy vestments, hanged beside Francesco and provided no spiritual comfort.” Hannibal looms behind Pazzi. A dark, unfocused figure, pointing at a detail on the woodcarving.

“It's hard to see, but here's where the archbishop bit him. Eyes wild as he choked, the archbishop locked his teeth in Pazzi's flesh. On a related subject, I must confess, I've been giving very serious thought to doing the same.” Pazzi turns and Hannibal SNAPS INTO FOCUS. With one hand, hesmothers Pazzi's face with an ether-soaked cloth.

Francesco de' Pazzi hanged by his neck -- his entrails snaking down around his feet. The reflective light of a candle dances across the surface of the illustration, giving the appearance of the hanged man swaying in a light breeze.

Over this, we hear SHALLOW BREATHING growing louder, along with the subtle SQUEAKING of a dolly truck's wheels. The candlelight flickers to darkness, out of which emerges: Hannibal.

“Can you hear me, Signor Pazzi?”

PALAZZO CAPPONI - WINDOW - NIGHT-

Pazzi is strapped to an upright dolly by Hannibal who is positioning him in front of a large window. Pazzi's mouth is taped and his eyes blink slowly, trying to focus. “Take some deep breaths while you can and clear your head.”

Hannibal's hands are busy as he talks, rolling a big floor polisher into the room and working with its thick orange power cord, tying a hangman's noose in the plug end of the cord, making the traditional thirteen wraps.

“I haven't had a bite all day. Actually, your liver and kidneys would be suitable for dinner right

away -- tonight, even -- but the rest of the meat should hang a week in the current cool conditions. I did not see the forecast, did you? I gather that means "no."”  Hannibal completes the hangman's noose with a tug.

“If you tell me what I need to know, commendatore, it'd be convenient for me to leave without my meal. I'll ask you the questions and then we'll see. You can trust me, you know, though I expect you find trust difficult, knowing yourself.”  The noose tied from electrical cord is passed over Pazzi's head and secured around his neck.

“When the police didn't come, it was clear that you had sold me. Was it Mason Verger you sold me to? Thank you, I thought so. I called the number on his "wanted" site once, far from here, just for fun. Have you told anyone in the Questura about me? Was that a nod?” Pazzi shakes his head "no" as his cell phone begins to RING. Hannibal removes it and answers.

“Pronto.”

VERGER ESTATE HOUSE - BALCONY - SUNSET-

Alana speaks quietly into her cell phone: ”Inspector Pazzi. My name is Alana Bloom. You don't know me, but I Know your benefactor–” Hannibal smiles as he hears Alana Bloom's voice.

“Hello, Alana. I'm afraid the inspector is otherwise occupied.”

“Hannibal. Is he dead?”

“There's nothing I'd love more than to be able to chat with you, but you caught me at an awkward moment. It's nice to hear your voice.” He hangs up and stuffs the phone back into Pazzi's pocket.

“Hannibal, please. Wait–”

PALAZZO CAPPONI - WINDOW - NIGHT-

Hannibal and Pazzi, as before. “Which do you think, commendatore? Bowels in or bowels out? Bowels out, I think.” In a fluid movement, Hannibal turns, his Harpy knife flashing up Pazzi's front; he calmly tips Pazzi forward, out the window.

PALAZZO CAPPONI - NIGHT-

Jack looks up just in time to see Pazzi's body tumble forward from the window high above the square. Pazzi falls to the extent of the electrical cable. It pulls whip-crack taut with a loud CRACK -- Pazzi's neck snapping. Only Pazzi's bowels continue the descent, ribboning from his

abdomen and raining down onto the ancient cobblestones below.

PALAZZO CAPPONI - WINDOW - NIGHT-

He peers down at Jack in the square. Inhales the hollow shock from the TOURISTS milling below. The rising murmur as people begin to notice Pazzi's body. Pazzi's body dangles above jack. His head lolls at an unnatural angle. His intestines hang, entangled around his feet. A grisly puppet.

And -- above -- is Hannibal. Hannibal and Jack hold their positions for a long moment, and then Hannibal moves back inside. It breaks the moment and galvanizes Jack who rushes for the entrance. Around him, the cries of surprise from the crowd turn into screams of horror.

PALAZZO CAPPONI - ATROCIOUS TORTURE EXHIBIT - NIGHT-

Hannibal walks briskly through the hall on his way out. There's the BANG of a door shutting and Hannibal stops, listens. He glances around the room, but sees no one. “Hello, Jack.” Hannibal listens for any sound to betray Jack's position. “Did you get my note?”

No response. Hannibal carefully edges into the room. “I am truly sorry about Bella. For her, night and day would be very much the same in the end.” The room is a miasma of shadows. The only sound -- the recurring CREAK of the upright trolley jamming against the window frame as Pazzi's body swings far below.

“When she could no longer stir or speak, did you speak for her?” Half his face concealed behind one of the display cases. The other half reflected in it. An alien symmetry. “I imagine you were capable of giving any medication Bella may have needed in the night. Did you practice injections on an orange?” finds the Harpy blade, easy in Hannibal's hand.

“What medication did you give her in the end, Jack? Was it too much?” Shoes off, Jack moves quickly and carefully toward Hannibal. “Or just enough?” JACK reflected in a glass case -- there, and then gone. Hannibal whirls and... SLAM!

Jack grabs Hannibal from behind and hurls him through a display case in a SHOWER OF GLASS. as glass falls and sprays, and the heavy implements within fall slowly -- in a CLATTER of iron and TINKLE of glass. Hannibal's Harpy knife is thrown clear into the shadows.

Cut and shaken, Hannibal crawls toward a vicious-looking AX. Jack sees his intent and uses a MEATHOOK -- swinging it into Hannibal's calf and dragging him back toward Jack. Hannibal's hands grasp and miss the ax. Jack slams him with heavy fists, concussive blows.

Jack throws Hannibal who falls against the BREAKING WHEEL. Hannibal stares at Jack, blood staining his teeth. Jack slams Hannibal with his fist, again and again. Hannibal's head rocking back against the wheel. Arm strained to the breaking point. 

But he lets the blows come. Regards Jack: “I brought Bella back from death and you returned her to it. Is that where you're sending me, Jack?” Jack hits him again and Hannibal has his answer -- yes.

Jack YELLS in primal rage and releases the breaking wheel, and Hannibal sags forward. Jack wheels him and hurls him through another cabinet and into the scaffolding and packing cases beyond. Another SHOWER OF GLASS. Hannibal lands, face stung with a hundred tiny cuts. Not even trying to fight back. He slowly gets to his feet and begins to limp away halfheartedly.

Jack grabs Hannibal and drags him through the packing crates, toward...

PALAZZO CAPPONI - WINDOW - NIGHT-

Jack drags Hannibal toward the window. “How will you feel when I'm gone?”

“Alive.” Jack hurls Hannibal backward out the window. knowledge of his own

certain death there -- and then, he lashes out an arm and – SEIZES HOLD OF PAZZI'S BODY.

Snags his hand on Pazzi's clothes and belt. His other hand grasps the electrical cord from which Pazzi is suspended. Hannibal hangs there, looking up at Jack. And then, he slides down Pazzi's body and lets himself drop, past the hanging entrails, and he lands hard and falls in the street.

One last look up, and then he staggers away.

 Hannibal is gone.

there’s not much of an introduction to this. but i’ve been thinking about this for a while and want to share! if anyone else sees them differently let me know <3 this was a lot harder than what i thought it would be oh my god.

Hera - Karen Mulder

lately I’ve been seeing hera as a blonde and i have no idea why. anyways, karen is gorgeous and irl barbie. she has exactly the same kind of regality i think hera would and looks like someone who would take no shit.

Athena - Yasmeen Ghauri

in my heart of hearts athena is a brunette. yasmeen is gorgeous, has an incredible walk, and i’ve listened to a few interviews of her and she seems so smart.

Demeter - Gisele Bündchen

my heart is just <gisele bündchen3. i love her so much, she’s one of my favorite models. she was my first choice when i was making this list and imo she fits demeter’s vibes perfectly. but at the same time, i think her walk fits athena too.

Aphrodite - Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Lucy Liu or Angeline Jolie

i really like the idea of Aphrodite’s appearance changing person-to person. naomi and angelina are both obvious choices for aphrodite to me. lucy isn’t technically a model (same with angelina) but it felt like a crime to not include her. but my favorite is cindy, her hair alone gives me aphrodite vibes and i’m lowk bitter gen-z doesn’t talk about her as much as we should😭.

Artemis - Shalom Harlow or Bella Hadid

one of my friends mentioned only seeing Artemis with short hair and i’m inclined to agree. at the same time though, i also can’t get the image of bella as Artemis out of my head. (i know she’s not a 90’s nor 2000’s model. but i’ll make an exception on account of i like her).

Hestia - Brenda Schad

another underrated model imo. she’s stunning and fits hestia to a T. from what i know about hestia she’s one of the few semi unproblematic figures in greek mythology, and brenda is so sweet and smart.

Persephone - Brandi Quinones

take a shot every time I say underrated. but that’s exactly what brandi is! i hate that she’s only known as the woman shalom Harlow bumped into, she has an amazing career on her own. anyways, she fits persephone perfectly.

as soon as i saw her ‘season of the witch’ by lana del rey started playing in my head. look at her and tell me that’s NOT hecate? I think the eyeliner definitely adds to it, but even in editorials gurmit fits hecate perfectly.

Tech company Dog Star Innovators had not had any real innovations for over twenty years, but it was a steady, if small, company.

Then, its founder and owner, Sam Saunders, died, and to the surprise of everyone, his granddaughter Lisa was named the new owner.

No one really knew anything about the twenty-three-year-old other than when, as a young teen, her grandfather had brought her to work, and she had annoyed everyone by asking about their zodiac signs and other things like that. “Perhaps she’s changed in the last ten years,” said Vice President Arthur Reynell to the head of accounting, Victor Crawford.

They quickly found that not only had she not changed, but she was even more into what she had been about back then

Lisa Saunders explained that she would change the company's management to align with “the proper astral alignments” and “make full use of The Grand Hecate Ley Line that she had found ran under the Dog Star Innovators building.”

“The what?” asked Crawford.

Lisa ignored him and instead pulled out an old leather book from her deck and informed them, “I will be starting now by connecting with it by using this invocation from the book I have found called the Fortis vox Veneris, which means The Mighty Voice of Venus.”

That was when Reynell noticed that Lisa had an actual cauldron bubbling away on a side deck to her right. “Say! Is that safe?” he asked.

Lisa continued to ignore them as she dramatically read from her book.

“Alright, this is too much.” said Crawford, “Yeah, this is getting too…” began Reynell, only to be interrupted by a flash and an explosion from the cauldron on the deck that went off like a strangely beautiful concussion grenade.

When the pair recovered from the dazzling, colorful explosion, they were shocked to discover that Lisa had undergone a remarkable transformation into a very different woman.

Then Arthur and Victor found that she was not the only one who had undergone a transformation.

“See, I told you I was going to change things,” said the woman who was now their boss. I think I’ll call you Adeline Rosethorn and Victoria Claw from now on. " The two former men said nothing.

“There is no time to dawdle, sisters. We need to orient the rest of the company, which I have also changed.”

“Oh, and for the record, I’m changing the name to Hecate Innovators.”

The rest of the staff and workers were appropriately shocked by what had happened to them; however, after a couple of weeks, they had, through simple necessity, become used to it.

Bill, now Bella, head of the mail room, however, was worried that when the yearly rival company baseball computation started, they might not do as well as he and the other girls were still having a bit of a hard time adjusting to the company shoes they now all wore.

Later on the road, never very successful salesmen Josh and Jerry, now it seemed saleswitches (a whole new job description invented by Hecate Innovators), were getting a lot more meetings than they ever had before.

1. If bro can play a kitsune in a human's body I'm pretty sure he can pull off Edward. We just need to know if Jun Shison speaks English.

2. Also, Edward needs to be an evil dick just because of vampire reasons. He needs to be mysterious and in a good way, not the way the movies portrayed him awkwardly.

Dakota Beavers as Jacob Black

Don't make him cut his hair, and he needs to be Native American.

Also, get rid of the whole imprinting thing if they're just going to make it gross.

Julia Rehwald as Alice Cullen

I read short hair and small frame, and I thought of her.

Evan Rachel Wood as Rosalie Hale

I found out she was around 16 when playing Tracy from Thirteen, which might make this fancast iffy since I'm using her teenage self for the gif, considering the other actors I fancasted are 18+. But I remember watching the film and thinking that she looked like she would make a great Rosalie, which is ironic since Nikki Reed also starred in Thirteen. I know she's quite old, but I think we should find a look-a-like that looks like her younger self.

Tanner Buchanan as Jasper Hale

1. I was trying to find handsome but creepy blond actors. Wasn't really able to find any, so bare with this. I think Tanner could manage being mysterious and creepy.

Chosen Jacobs as Emmett Cullen

1. I remember reading some human version fanfics of the main characters, and in some of them Emmett would be Bella's older - and sometimes twin - brother. With that in mind, if Bella's black/mixed, then Emmett is too because why not?

Antony Star as Carlisle Cullen

1. I think Carlisle's human body should be older, and thus also be played by an older actor. I know Antony Star doesn't have those same vibes that Carlisle does, but he does give off a stern exterior when playing Homelander in some scenes, and I wanna see that is Carlisle.

Emmy Rossum as Esme Cullen

1. I don't know what to think of Esme other than the fact that I know that she's taller than Bella and randomly gave some info that she lost her baby very soon. I figured she was older when she was turned, just like I envisioned for Carlisle, but somewhat looks very young (I mean, a person is still young even if they're in their thirties).

Wood Harris as Charlie Swan

1. I'm looking for old head vibes. Man from the old hip hop vibes. "Guy that listens to Tupac regularly" vibes.

2. Also, let Charlie be a temporary supernatural hunter that protects Forks.

Zahn McClarnon as Billy Black

James is described to be very plain looking, despite the fact that he had the vampirism that was supposed to make him look more appealing, so I was thinking about The Deep whilst reading the book.

Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Laurent

I think Edi Gathegi really stood out as Laurent, more dark skinned villains please.

2. Since Laurent is hinted to come from thanks to his accent I decided to pick an actor that is from New Orleans. I don't know why, I just decided to. Maybe I memorised some kind of misinformation about there being French speakers, I don't know.

3. If they really do make a Twilight remake and they toss Laurent to the side I'm actually gonna be so mad, because Laurent's appearance was promising, and then they chose James' boring arse.

Sophie Skelton as Victoria

I loved Rachelle Lefevre's performance as Victoria, so I want that same vibe of "seemingly innocent but clearly has a hidden agenda/motive". I know it's been a while since she's been in any films (from what I know), but I think she can pull it off. Since Laurent is hinted to be French I think it would be great that they let her be British when playing Victoria. (There's no they, but play along.)

from jack's perspective, he reached out to dr. lecter on recommendation from alana, but then... then he meets this guy who has got to be one of the funkiest little dudes jack crawford has ever met

hannibal lecter is so profoundly odd, and he's soooo unashamed to be his weird self

he's a host. he's a chef. he's fuddy duddy and wears three piece suits. he jokes with jack and seems to understand and empathize with jack fundamentally

he keeps inviting jack over for five course dinners

jack's either been treated as or treated himself as a workhorse his whole life, between the navy and then the FBI, always a civil servant. hannibal treats him like someone who deserves nice things.

mostly i'm thinking about jack feeling attracted to the fantasy of hannibal being his like. male housewife. the perfect intersection of maleness and traditional feminine gender roles - aka the perfect complement to jack's existing marriage where bella is both femaleness but also jack's equal in every aspect

also jack thinking that. like. he knows that hannibal does this same song and dance for other people too. but he can't shake the feeling that something about this, something about hannibal's treatment of jack in particular, is special, and intentional, and maybe hannibal does want something more

anyway this is just a silly ramble considering where they actually end up but. it'd be cute i think. for hannibal to be totally blindsided by jack's perception of him. and at first be sort of offended, or amused, because it's such an inaccurate perception, clouded by social biases. and it's funny that the head of the BAU could be so fundamentally wrong

but on the other hand

maybe jack introduces hannibal to other people in the office or something

guiding dr. lecter around with a hand on his arm or brushing against the small of his back

chivalrous and proper and most importantly of all, gentle

idk how often hannibal gets to have gentleness from other men

the character everyone gets wrong

I wouldn't say eeeveryone, but... a lot of people get Will Graham wrong. like, he's an extremely complex character with many different aspects that aren't explored too deeply in the show at times (despite the show mostly being from his perspective); but there are enough leads to go off of to at least get the right idea when going deeper yourself. my main issue is that he's either taken at face value all the time, reduced to his season 1 encephalitis-riddled persona, or completely twinkified and innocent. all of which are plain wrong and annoying to see, I'm not gonna lie. you do you and all that, but it does get annoying after the third or so post from different people in a row, and seeing that slowly but surely becoming a popular fanon idea (especially among new fans). but I just scroll past or even block people because it doesn't actually matter and I can control what I see and react to. (also, it's not like I am an expert on Will either or understand him 100% and am right all the time. but seeing him completely misinterpreted and almost turned into a new character, a shell of his self and a caricature of who he is, that's what gets me.)

2. a compelling argument for why your fave would never top or bottom

Will Graham again, what a surprise. oki, so, personally, I do believe he's a vers/switch. but he especially strikes me as a power bottom a lot of times. he's generally dominant, but he likes to receive. he can be a brat and wants to be dominated sometimes, too, depending on the partner. but most of the time, he's dominant, in need of control, but wants to be worshipped/treated (in the way that he receives). gosh, uh... compelling argument. um. vibes, I guess. my brainworms said so. Will himself told me that. idk hdfdkjshfjksh

16. you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc)

I've pretty much only seen new fans, who come from those two platforms in particular, do that and be serious about it.

honestly? the different relationships and dynamics in the show that aren't Hannigram. like, yes, people also focus quite a bit on Will and Hannibal's respective dynamics with Alana and Bedelia, but usually through the Hannigram-lens. same with Abigail. and it makes sense, duh, Alana, Bedelia and Abigail are extremely intertwined with Hannigram. so are most other characters and their dynamics. because that's the main focus of the show, basically. but I still think that other relationships and dynamics are vastly underrated and even overlooked. examples include Jack Crawford with literally anyone but Will or Hannibal. especially with Miriam Lass. or his literal wife, Bella. or Francis and Reba. Abel Gideon and Chilton. and so on. there are many interesting dynamics to explore. I understand the focus on Hannigram and Hannigram-adjacent ones, like, I'm guilty of that, too. so is the show itself. but, you know. that's just the thing that came to mind first.

I had an idea for fanfic, a fanfic that mixes two things that I love! Hannibal and Five Nights at Freddy!

It all started in 1970. Hannibal and his family were at home living a peaceful life until Mischa suddenly fell ill. Worried, Hannibal's parents called a doctor to perform an examination. The doctor was a charlatan and deceived the entire family by making them buy fake medicine for Mischa. Thanks to the doctor's lies, Mischa's illness worsened and they took her to the hospital. At the hospital, they discovered that Mischa needed heart surgery. Doctors decided to test the use of robots in the surgery without her parents' permission. Mischa died. Years later, Hannibal entered medical school. On his first day, he found out about robotics classes and decided to join the classes. Hannibal studied robotics and mechanics as a hobby. Over time, he also became interested in studying religions. One religion in particular caught his attention: Hinduism, which talks about the eternity of souls. At the age of 21, Hannibal begins to create a humanoid robot, the purpose of which is to be as close to a human body as possible in appearance and functionality.

At the age of 22, Hannibal gets a job at a psychiatric hospital. He starts out as just an ordinary nurse, but the hospital director, Bedelia Du Maurier, soon realizes Hannibal's dark potential. They talk and Hannibal seduces her.

Two years later, Hannibal has to stop his main project and begins to build another robot, this time something more silly, less human, just a prototype for testing. Hannibal wants to make sure his plan will be a success when the time comes.

One day, during a date with Bedelia, Hannibal convinces Bedelia to marry him. Curious and always eager for danger, Bedelia accepts Hannibal's proposal and they get married in two months.

A year passes and Hannibal finishes his prototype, an adorable humanoid fox with fluffy fur and comfortable pajamas, the animatronic's appearance is inspired by an old Mischa plush, Miss. Night, the sleeping fox.

On October 13th, Hannibal tortures Bedelia for two whole days, he tries to inflict as much pain on her as possible in order to leave her soul in agony for many years, when the torture ends, Hannibal kills Bedelia and amputates one of her legs to store inside his animatronic and then get rid of what's left of her body.

Hannibal waits for days, but Miss. Night doesn't wake up, his experiment was a failure, Hannibal gets angry and breaks the animatronic before simply throwing the carcass in his basement and starting a new project.

With the death of his wife, Hannibal becomes the new director of the hospital and decides to take his experiments to another level. Every night Hannibal takes a patient to the basement and applies unconventional forms of therapy, nothing that can kill, but that causes pain.

After two months with Hannibal in control of the hospital and a new patient enters the hospital, a woman named Bella Crawford, who had just gotten married and was showing signs of hysteria, Jack, her husband and a young cadet, took his wife to be treated while he was working because he feared she would do something against her own safety. Bella quickly trusts Hannibal and accepts Dr. Lecter's unconventional therapies, seeking to leave the hospital as soon as possible to return to her husband. One day Hannibal returns home and hears noises coming from his basement, he goes downstairs and sees Miss. Night crawling on the floor.

19) The most interesting topic I've researched for a fic is uh, how to lace a corset. NSFW. Well, that and looking for a vintage movie palace in New York City that would have been around in the late 70s, because I was looking for a particular aesthetic.

25 is answered here :) A couple hobbies I would like to start again are weight lifting and sewing. I used to do very simple clothes sewing and also counted cross-stitch.
