people who complain about people singing at concerts are so annoying if you only want to listen to the artists thats what listening at music at home is for. concerts are a social experience you go there to be with other people who like the music as much as you do, you dont get to stop them enjoying it because you dont know what a concert is

#i think people like want to pretend its just them and the artist but like thats not why you go to a concert youre missing the point #there is no greater joy than screaming song lyrics with a bunch of strangers #this seems to be more of an issue with like. those ~aesthetic~ types of people people who are into rock dont care #but like the mitski subreddit was so annoying when her tour was announced it was full of people saying to not sing along #which is just very sad u know #also because i was watching a boygenius concert video and the comments were full of people making fun of one girl in the audience #for singing loudly and not being able to carry a tune #like ok she paid a lot to be there and ur watching it for free on youtube you can keep those opinions to urself #if you dont want to hear other people judt STREAM THE SONG #anyway #im seeing mitski this month i hope everyones chill OSLSJ

Nothing funnier to me than a fansite that horrifically white washes pics of the guys until they genuinely look like walking corpses but then will have DO NOT EDIT in all their captions like baby.... if there's anyone here who should have the editing software taken away, it's you...

#see this is where i might potentially have a controversial opinion #bc while i 100% always link back to twt videos or pics from concerts and stuff #bc i think its the polite and fair thing to do #i also find the DO NOT EDIT DO NOT REPOST stuff slightly silly #just bc ypure taking pictures of famous people and posting them on the internet like.... people are going to #i think putting credit is 100% the right thing to do but also if i ever went to a show and took a pic that wasnt a total blur #id p much expect others to save it and do stuff with it bc thats just how the internet works #also somehow pics taken at the airport and other invasive places with those captions especially make me laugh like you can go mob them #and take those pics but also expect everyone else to respect your copyright or something?#like at least with concert stuff its expected to take videos so i really do believe you shpuld link back #bc its like wow thank you for taking that video and sharing that funny moment with the rest of us #but some of it im like Nah be for real #like yeah always link back to op when applicable but its not always applicable yk #and white washers dont deserve anything at all

I’ve been to a lot of concerts in my life, but nothing has ever made me as anxious as the simple thought of trying to get bts/solo tickets and they aren’t even coming here anytime soon!!???

#just seeing everything getting sold out in minutes is making me crazy #it’s gonna be a blood bath here #fuck they played two days in a stadium in 2019 #they gonna need to do a residency here #also this membership bs is making me scared #i know a lot of gringos want to see them in brasil #idk if they'd use membership pre-sale here bc they never have #and i dont think a lot of brazilians pay for it #usually there's an exact amount of tickets on pre-sale so it doesnt get sold out #and other people can still try to buy on the general sales #im going insane over a concert that doesnt even exist yet 😭

booked a hotel and got the concert ticket aghhhh

#i talk #still gotta get the train ticket too but mannn i get way too worked up over this stuff #been procrastinating it for like a month now like i Want to go but there are so many unknown variables and that shit is scary #first time going to a concert in another country alone and i spent a lil more than i wouldve wanted but hopefully its gonna be worth it #and like im most likely completely overthinking this (as i do most things) and everythings gonna be completely fine #but ahh so many what if's so much uncertainty #but im also excited its like a tiny step outside of my comfort zone and you gotta start somewhere bc id love to travel alone more #(mostly bc i wanna travel but dont have anyone to go with but thats a whole other thing)#and ive been rly into this band for a few years now and i really want this chance to see them live bc theres prob not gonna be another one #(watch them come to my city next year lmaoo)#god im not made for this but do it scared!! do it alone!! i want to experience more things in life!!#ive literally talked to my therapist about this extensively and to several coworkers and everyones like do it! its a great first step!#went through every thing that could go wrong (but very likely will not) and alternatives for every situation

#also. now worried ill not deal well with like. being on the train and on the bus on a book event and on a concert in the next few days #cause thats famously crowded places and i am doing So bad im taking taxi from and to work to avoid being on crowded busses lol #idk what tf is going on rly #im mostly stressed out and filled with dread at home knowing i have work that day or the next day #and somewhat better after i arrive at work??#idk. but also ive lost weight and am losing hair lol and its def stress induced cause my blood test results are perfect #i have a psych appointment in a week where i could ask to get sent on a sick leave and its soon now so #im starting to feel a lot of guilt and shame around this idea #but like. cant handle this anymore #and my boss is awful my work schedule is so bad i cant have hobbies or meet friends its just bad bad bad
