I was adding onto the DSMP Actor AU post, but it turned into Wilbur musician AU, haha rip me, and I only know SBI anyways so here’s a separate post. (It goes back to actor AU at the end.) It’s hypothetically still in the same universe though, and obviously inspired by it. If anything’s phrased weirdly, it’s cuz this was originally an addition to that.

tbh I kinda adhered to their IRL careers too much compared to the OP but whatever it’s fine.

Wilbur is an indie artist really on the come up

Your City Gave Me Asthma was pretty good for a first release, popular with both new fans and fans of his acting.

He had starred in a short mystery/thriller-ish series that started off disguised as a normal sitcom: Chilly in Lincolnshire {Editor Wilbur ARG}

It had a prominent release because of Jack Massey’s involvement and previous fame, but production was abruptly scrapped before it tied everything up with a bow on top, so to speak. It’s still unclear if this was actually planned in order to tell the story the way they way wanted.

Even before that, critics had mixed reviews, either applauding the storytelling and acting or calling it “irrationally confusing, an amateurish attempt to box unconventional storytelling into a conventional medium.”

Also SootHouse was a sitcom that achieved a cult following during the two seasons it ran before cancellation. Either you’re a fan or you’re never heard of it, and people constantly forget Wilbur was in it.

(He was a few other old shows on his resume too. Wilbur always focuses on the newest project, so everyone always forgets about what he was in before.)

Maybe I Was Boring EP was initially just bonus tracks on his website, but his fans liked it so much he gave it a wider release

In between, he had a few comedy songs go viral on youtube. Everybody was so confused when they realized it was the same Wilbur as musician/actor Wilbur. He laughed about it in an interview, saying “How many Wilburs do you know?”

That’s when it came out that “Wilbur Soot” was actually a stage name. (”Ha, fair, only one.” “Make that zero-- my name’s not really Wilbur.”)

He kinda disappeared after that?? Didn’t do anything, really inactive on social media. It was semi-confirmed that he was both working on his mental health and prepping some stuff (music, auditions).

But anyways he just released a series of singles, combined into Digital Love {E-girl trilogy}-- he’s transformed his image yet again, but this time he does take ownership of all his past ventures.

The release of Digital Love bridges the end of SMP Earth and the beginning Dream SMP.

But before that there was MCC and the other stuff.

They are shows where celebrities team up do stuff-- you know the type

but Minecraft Monday is still inexplicably Minecraft Monday. Some Youtuber just managed to get all these up and coming celebrities to play a Minecraft tournament.

And that’s where the Sleepy Bois (minus Tommy) met IRL so that’s where they meet here.

SMP Earth, like Minecraft Manhunts, is also a former show they were on. I’m going to call it World Domination. Don’t @ me; I know that’s trash lol.

They and the Dream Team met up because of their shared fanbases and were even talking a crossover, but it didn’t really work that well for the stories so they scrapped it

They make a non-canon cross over episode anyways {no IRL equivalent, I think}

Everybody loves the cons. Everytime there’s a con, five friendships are made and eight ideas are created.

Techno backstory time

He’s done a lot of long running, though not exactly popular, serials and sitcoms: Blitz, Survival Games, and Sky Wars.

Winstreak: 1000 {Bed Wars 1000 winstreak} was so popular they made a second season, but it never got as big as the first. He worked nearly exclusively with Hypixel Studios.

He was doing lots of random content for their new Sky World universe {Skyblock} -- the small studio was big on experimentation -- , when a fictional documentary, The Great Potato War, went proper viral.

They made two sequels WHILE he was doing those celebrity team challenge shows and then World Domination, and they were actually good sequels.

Got a reputation for being shallow and a sell-out, but he makes a joke of it so much he gets away with it and constantly self-promos.

Also a kinda scary to work with for the first time because of how single-minded he can get, but once you realize how socially awkward he is it’s okay.

Now that’s he’s in a lot of stuff with worldbuilding, he practically has the wikis memorized.

Tommy mainly did limited series and movies before World Domination, where he met the SBI.

He’d had been a fan of Wilbur for a while, and was super star-struck at first, but got over it really quickly in his Tommy style

He still is a total fanboy at concerts and whenever a new music video drops. “I’m friends with the guy! I know him, Wilbur Soot!” “Tommy, you’re famous too.” “Yeah, cuz I’m practically in the video!” “No--”

Wilbur takes Tommy to one of his concerts and he’s so hyped the entire time, especially to go behind the scenes and on the stage.

Sometimes he gets stressed about the pressure of being a child star, but Techno, Philza, and Wilbur promise to stand by him and they make him feel protected

One time Wilbur’s drunk and almost hands Tommy a drink before swearing and going, “You’re a bloody child! You can’t have that! God, what would Philza think?” Tommy’s not sure whether to be relieved or disappointed.

Philza laughs at the story and actually lets Tommy try a little in a more controlled, responsible situation. Tommy texts his mum first, and then hates the drink anyways. (”This is rubbish! I am a man, but I’m not drinking this!” Techno: “Alcohol is disappointing. I drink orphan’s tears instead.” “Techno WHAT--”)

Philza had been the star of a zombie apocalypse show: Golden Core

He did canonically die to a child zombie in the movie version. Yes, they made a movie version of the TV show, because the Golden Core franchise actually has had many other shows {other hardcore series}.

Everybody tries to get the child zombie props near him because of that (they’re puppets)

He’s done a lot of other things, like in the original actor AU post, but none of them came close in popularity.

He gives the rest of the SBI the knowledge he’s gained from being in the biz for so long.

There’s also a running joke about SBI meaning “Spy Boys Incorporated” and them starring in a comedy spy movie

The fans would very much actually like this to happen. There’s so many fanons for it (maybe I’ll write one....)

Back to the DSMP. Maybe I’ll call it Dreamland or smth.

Wilbur constantly asks Tommy if he’s okay after any difficult scenes

Especially when they were hanging out together a lot in the exile arc.

All the brother scenes were cut because Wilbur kept breaking down and crying in them.

Sometimes people actually ask Techno and Tommy if they’re actually brothers. Tommy tries to go along with it half the time on the basis of “it’s be funny,” so there’s a subset of casual fans that genuinely don’t know.

After Alivebur was killed off, Wilbur was going to leave the show to concentrate on his music

But he missed the SMP and hanging so much that he just showed up on set one day saying “I’m a ghost now,” and everyone just rolled with it

Alivebur was so popular that, seeing that Wilbur was willing, they decided to bring him back for Season 3. He’s been avoiding doing heavy scenes, but he still seems really invested and like he wants to come back to the show.

Wilbur talks with Techno about writing and lore a lot

it’s one the few times Wilbur actually seems like the older one

Wilbur attempted to get a D&D group going in the cast, but the show was already close enough, with the amount of improvisation they can get by with

Tommy’s Pigstep cover happened, but the background was Philza clapping barely in time with just Wilbur on bass instead (and of course Techno’s “BAHP”s)

It was a charity stream. They had put on their costumes (clothes only) for a previous goal.

This one was simply called “We rap.”

Some people were almost disappointed that Tommy was the only one actually rapping, but he was so funny it made up for it.

from a dream smp fan: yeah it’s roleplay on a multiplayer minecraft survival server, usually streamed on twitch. dream and a lot of the other people on the smp also make other minecraft related content, like videos trying to beat the game with very inconvenient mods installed, or “minecraft manhunt” where dream tries to beat the game before his friends kill him (in. in game, obviously), or some people just play games on the hypixel server and stuff like that

as for how people get into it,, i got into it because my friends were, and i think they got into via a weird pipeline of hermitcraft (another, less roleplay-based smp) to minecraft mondays (not sure what that is, i never got into it but i think it was some weekly tournament ran by keemstar of all people??) to two other smp’s that i also didn’t watch that lead into dsmp. i’d imagine a lot of other people would get into it the way anyone gets into any new media, hearing abt it enough that they get curious and check it out

a lot of people dislike dream (and by proxy the people associated with him) based on some things that are true (like. past kinda racist actions that he has attempted to somewhat apologise and make up for, i personally don’t have much to say on that except,, maybe he should do better lmao. he tries but at the end of the day he’s a white liberal) and a lot of things that are very very false (there was apparently a document going around ages ago calling him transphobic and homophobic and all sorts of shit with zero evidence whatsoever, and when asked for evidence the person who wrote the doc started blocking people i believe?)

and also a lot of his fans, especially on twitter but some here too, are very annoying and entitled and think it’s a quirky fun character trait to send death threats to people over minor missteps because he literally never admonishes them

apologies for rambling in your inbox a bit, but there’s your basic rundown on what’s up with dream/dream smp i guess LOL (also i couldn’t tell if u knew so apologies if me explaining this seems condescending, but smp just means “survival multiplayer”)

SMPd sound cool conceptually, especially since Minecraft’s gameplay is pretty well suited to open ended storytelling. I have never personally encountered any on YouTube? I’m subscribed to several people who talk about the game, give rundowns of new information about updates, show off cool seeds and whatnot. I pick my YouTubers carefully though, because the loud and over-enthusiastic way many of them talk is grating and a little overloading. Maybe that’s it…

Headcanon time: the Gods of the Minecraft universe

Alright so my main big AU that my stories/hcs reside in have Gods. These Gods are basically what we know as the original MCYTers. It’s still a really rough idea though, so my thoughts definitely could change.

This is also based off of personal knowledge/the MCYTers I watched when I was younger, so there’s a good possibility I’ll miss out on worthy candidates!

Also please note that this is all an AU (and not a completed one, at that) and so a lot of this isn’t quite accurate/could be disagreed upon:

Here we go:

Philza Minecraft – One of the very original (and most famous) Gods. He is as old as the world itself, and possibly even older. (This is quite obvious, but I will also state that he was born a God). Philza is the God of life, survival, and of building. He helped create humanity, and he will be there when it falls. He helped breathe the world into existence. He is prayed to when people are alone in the wilderness and they are unsure of survival. He is also known for his incredible buildings––tall monuments, buildings in the End, etc... Philza is often associated with the Blood God, Technoblade. They have travelled together for many centuries, building empires and watching them collapse.

Technoblade––‘The Blood God’��- Technoblade is one of the younger Gods, but we don’t know his exact age. He was born a God. As the affectionate nickname suggests, Technoblade is the God of blood, merciless battle, and surprisingly, farming. He was born as the God of Blood, though did not know it until Phil discovered him and taught him about who he was. He’s famously known for utterly dominating Bedwars and Minecraft Monday tournaments, which both involve murder and bloodshed. (This has caused his name to be one that strikes fear in the hearts of any who utter it). He earned being the God of farming when he went to war over some potatoes. He was found in the Nether by Philza and has stuck by his side since.

DanTDM (The Diamond Minecart) – Dan is also quite old, but not as old as Philza. He’s been since nearly the beginning as well, though. He was not born a God––he earned his Godhood as a teenager. Dan is the God of riches and curiosity. Like the name indicates, he’s associated with diamonds. The reason is because he’s the one that first proposed diamonds could be welded into tools and armour instead of just used for décor and jewelry. The curiosity part is because he held many experiments with his interesting friend, Dr. Trayaurus, before the mortal sadly passed away. Dan and Dr. Tray created/experimented with all kinds of different technology, but it is said that when Dr. Tray passed, Dan could not bear his loss. So, he hid away from the mortal realm for many centuries, but has returned in the past couple decades.

Stampylongnose––Stampy – Here’s a God that’s been around as long as Philza and is just as popular! He was born a God. Stampy is the God of friendliness, caring, and love (of all forms). He’s a kind being with a warm heart and a smile that could light up any room. He’s featured in many children’s books, as he is a God of love and love is the theme of many stories. Way back when the Gods roamed the worlds as themselves, he was often found teaching children games and telling them cool facts about the world around them. When not with them, he spent time with his best friend, iBallisticSquid (Squid). Sadly, Squid was a mortal and died very quickly in Stampy’s long life. Stampy is often prayed to when someone feels lonely and in need of a friend. Stampy’s whereabouts are unknown, but it’s believed that he’s still out there.

PopularMMOs and GamingWithJen––Pat and Jen – These ones aren’t at all new Gods, but they’re not that old either. It is unclear whether they were born Gods or earned their Godhood by the lucky blocks/game they created. Pat and Jen are the Gods of competition and luck. Those two things tie in neatly with each other because they used to play a game they created and record it for people to watch. In this game, there are things called lucky blocks, which are yellow boxes that, when broken, can unleash a random object/thing in the world. It could be something bad, such as lava, or something good, such as legendary tools. Pat and Jen actually created these boxes for fun, but ended up using them for the game. In the second part of the game, they’d fight some sort of monster that multiplied in numbers as time went on. This game was filmed and released to the public, which became a worlds-wide hit, and they possibly earned their Godhood from it. Their current status is unknown.

LDShadowlady––Lizzie – Lizzie is a bit older than Pat and Jen, but not by much. She was born a Goddess. Lizzie is the Goddess of aesthetics, design/architecture, and overall beauty when it comes to the world around us. She’s well-known for travelling around worlds (some, with her friends) and creating beautiful buildings. She’s built things like castles, mansions, and treehouses, just to name a few. Lizzie brought a new age of architecture to humans when she was created. A renaissance, of sorts, if you will. She’s responsible for a lot of the house/building designs that are still around today. Lizzie remains in the mortal world and continues to create her amazing buildings even now!

Stacyplays – Stacy is just a bit older than Lizzie. She earned her Godhood. Stacy is the Goddess of nature, animals, and wildlife. She started out as a warrior, but eventually started not enjoying that life, so she retired to travel the biomes. Her research on new plants and animals, as well as the books she wrote for them, earned her her fame and Godhood. Thanks to her love of dogs/wolves, they became her sacred animals. Those who seek to harm animals and plants have earned her ire. She’s long since disappeared from the world, but her loyal followers know she’s still out there somewhere.

Grian – Grian is older than most of the Gods, nearly being as old as Philza himself. it is unclear whether he was born a God or earned his Godhood. Grian’s history is blotchy, at best. We’re not quite sure what he was the God of–– possibly pranks and jokes. All we know for sure is that when he was young, he was possessed and overtaken by a Dreamon (see my mentioned fic at the top) that called themselves ‘watcher’. He gained a lot of power, but was also punished and thrown around by other Dreamons that called themselves ‘watchers’. We don’t know what happened to him after and whether or not he ever recovered from it/if he’s still around today.

Kristen Minecraft – Kristen is also as old as Philza and was born a Goddess. Kristen is the Goddess of Death––something that goes hand in hand with Philza’s Godly powers of life. She rules the land of the dead and makes it her job to help people pass on peacefully. She stays in her realm of the dead unless she needs to go to the Overworld for any especially difficult cases. Kristen and Philza are actually married, though they don’t see each other often due to how demanding Kristen’s job is. She’s just chilling in the land of the dead.

It’s actually quite the opposite. I have an entirely new theory/concept for him. I could make a whole other post out of it if anyone is interested enough in that.

What I did on my vacations

Hello my people!! In today’s week post I’ll talk about what I did on my vacations.

1. Nothing, at the first 5 days I literally did nothing, just do the normal things I would do in weekend.

2. Listen to music while I slept, I almost listened to music while I slept everyday of my vacations. I know that sounds horrible but this thing I did is like a method and medicine for me to stay calm if I have problems, existential crises, stress, almost every negative emotion it could exist.

3. Went to my friends house, me and Juanito went to Oswa’s house because we needed to practice our coreography for the dance contest, so the first thing we did was practice 2 hours straight without breaks, then, we played Super Smash Bros for a while, after that we ate Kentucky Fried Chicken but better!! the mother of Oswa did it! the plate consisted of one piece of the chicken (leg or chest I think), salad of cabbage, cucumber, and carrot, and finally spaghetti with old cheese. Then we played and played until our parents arrived.

4. Go to Atlixco with my family, yeah, it was cool, I went to a restaurant that its like a menu. Then I went to the center of Atlixco, I walked and took some photos, there was like a little street that had pretty things to buy, I buyed a painting of Boku from My Hero Academia, pretty painting not gonna lie, then I buyed something that is called sorbet, it is a yellow ice cream with eggnog (rompope) and it was delicious.

5. I did excercise, every thursday, friday, saturday and sunday of this two weeks me and my cousins did excercise. They have a gym in their house, so we lifted weights and did other excersices, but at the end... I kinda saw a little change on me 😉

6. Do things like pendients of school, that 3 days weren’t entertaining at all.

7. Play with my friends a game, everyday of vacation, me and my friends: Tiago, Gabo, Yael, and Oswa played Roblox, at 8:00 pm we started playing a game called Specter that it is scary, it consisted to catch a type of ghost that lived in a certaing place, we needed to complete tasks and not to get killed by the ghost.

The other game we played was Liberty Council, this game consisted of being in different roles, like criminals, police, sheriff, civilians. We all picked the role of civilians, but we created like a fake mafia called “Anexo” we chased criminals and kidnapped them to tell us why are they robbing, and if they didn’t answer, well they automatically went to jail.

We played Minecraft as well, we played minigames like Sky Wars, Egg Wars, and Build Battles.

8. Had a big problem but very very serious to me, It’s not like a theme to talk in public, it’s like personal to me. But I handled it like a champ :’)

9. Went again to my friends house, for second time, Juanito and me went to Oswa’s house to practice one more time our coreography and to play some time, we practiced 1 hour, we took a break eating a plate with mango, cucumber and jicama (I think). Then we played Smash Bros, we made like a tournament. Then we ate pizza and potatoes with salsa diabla, while eating we watched Spider-Man into the spiderverse. We played futbolito, one team was Oswa and Juanito, the other team was me and Rebe (Oswa’s sister) of course me and Rebe won ;). Saddly the parents of Juanito arrived and then my parents arrived too. After that I went to get a haircut. Played with my friends until I was tired.

10. Finished the pendients I had for school.

it’s genuinely unfortunate seeing what mcc has become, i’ve been around since mid 2020 and not once have i seen this level of toxicity not only surrounding scott and the noxcrew themselves but also at individual creators just trying to have fun and have a good time playing minecraft with their friends.

when wilbur’s team won because he glitched into a block in rocket spleef, no one was mass qrting him and harassing his teammates, because at the time the margin of people who took the games too seriously was significantly lower. the vast majority of the fan base understood it was all for shits and giggles and is in no way a completely 100% serious and accurate representation of block game skill.

i was on twt the day mcc14 happened, and my god there were hundreds of people saying downright nasty things to scott & hbomb.

how far into the bullshit do you need to be to think that dog-piling on people is okay simply because they “cheated” in a block game tournament with no monetary prize?

Dream’s fans have a tendency to take things too far, and this has rung true time and time again.

I don’t give a shit if Hbomb “cheated” in HITW or if Scott “cheated” in ace race, it should never warrant the kind of harassment they got, and I feel so immensely bad for them. Scott is an extremely sweet guy, and Hbomb is the most kind and supportive teammate you could ask for; it pissed me off when I saw people treating them like they committed a felony or something. Dream losing in mcc is not the end of the world, you don’t need to defend him to your last breath, and you don’t need to send hate to his literal friends on his behalf.

i’m a dream smp fanartist, i’m by no means an “anti,” I simply don’t tolerate harassment and i’m so tired of seeing people excuse it.

obligatory not all of them, but twt is an echo chamber of people validating each other’s hateful behavior and i’m so tired of it

i miss the halloween mcc. it was so much quieter.

george even glitched through the walls during mcc 12 but of course there wasn’t any hate sent to him, blows my mind that people are STILL calling H a cheater for “abusing a glitch” when glitches have been part of mcc since the beginning

someone teach these children how to act (because the ccs they stan clearly won’t)

a/n: Since this is the first chapter it's kind of short. More like an introduction to the plot and such. It will be kinda quick and cheesy but I promise it'll get better lol. Enjoy~

JUNE 7TH

"Damn you never listen do you Y/n! I told you that I had reserved us tickets to a game and you're not even ready. We have to leave in 10 minutes, get off the stupid game. Now." I sighed looking up at my boyfriend. Turning my head back to my monitor and focused back on my game. "Hello, do you hear me? Or are you talking to your other boyfriend that weird Japanese kid? You know-"

"Kenma."

"What?"

"His name is Kenma. You know that. Also, I'm not ready because I'm not going." I stated not looking away from the screen. "We always go out to where you wanna go. I do the things you like but the one time I ask to go somewhere you immediately deny it because you're not interested in it. Therefore, Dillion, I'm not going." He stared at you in confusion. It took him a moment to process but then the light went off in his head.

"Are you talking about that Comic Market thing? Babe, one, that's in Japan-" I pause my game and mute my discord because little did he know Kenma was on with me building away at his cottage in Minecraft while listening to us two bicker.

"My mother already said it was okay she wanted to go as well so she could see the sights. It's summer so we it's not like I have to be back in time for school. This is the only big thing that I have ever asked from you and you dont even have to pay for it. I've saved up enough. I've planed where we can stay, where we can eat, everything. So, I'm going to tell you this. You're either in or out because I'm going whether you like it or not." I was now face to face with him standing my ground. I had been planning this for months, worked an exhausting amount of hours, done tons of research for this trip. I planned to stay for about a week and meet my best friend Kenma Kozume by surprising him at his volleyball practice then, taking him to the comic market. To be honest I didn't want Dillion to come anyway. For some unknown reason, he hates Kenmas guts, maybe just because it's another guy. I have to admit we do talk a lot but I've never put Kenma before him. I try to be the best girlfriend and be present in our relationship but I've had enough. Dillion grabs my torso and pulls me in.

"Look I'll go to the lame ComicCon thing with you when it's in America where we live. I don't see why we have to spend so much to go to this we are only 16 we need to be saving up for our futures. I'm out Y/n." I sighed into his chest knowing this was coming.

"Of course you are... Usually, by now I would give in and agree with you but not this time. I'm going."

"Fine whatever. Then I'll be waiting for you when you get back." he pats my head. I was honestly surprised that he didn't fight back. I kiss him and run to put on an outfit. "What are you doing?"

"We still have five minutes, I'm getting ready!" I yell from my bathroom. I grabbed some sweats and a t-shirt and threw them on, groomed my h/l h/c hair, and walked back out.

"Hey, Kenma I have to go. Date night."

"Okay let me know when you get back I need to talk to you about something." his voice sounded tired which would make sense we had been playing for 3 hours non-stop. I turn off my computer and walk out with Dillion.

I stayed on the game a couple more hours decorating the outside of the cottages me and y/n had built. She saw it on TikTok and thought it was cute but didn't know that it would take this long. His voice lingered in my head "Do you even listen to me y/n!". Of course, she does idiot she loves you. When they started arguing I knew it was gonna end up a mess again. It's like this every couple of weeks. They fight and argue and she always ends up leaving our game. Seems like it's only when she's on with me... Doesn't matter what matters is that she doesn't deserve to be treated like a possession. She does whatever he wants without much fight. It breaks my heart when she comes back on the server. She always sounds tired and down but she still talks to me even if it's for a short time.

"Hey, Kenma wanna come practice with me?" Kuroo's voice brought me out of my thoughts I hadn't noticed I was smiling while thinking about her until my black-haired friend started teasing me about it. "Ooo you're smiling. What's going on?"

"Nothing just playing games."

"With your girlfriend I presume. HEY Y/N!!" he yelled into my mic which was right next to my ear.

"She's not on right now. Also, I told you she's not my girlfriend she has someone." I look down at my phone screen that read '1:30 pm' she should be home by now and getting ready for bed. "Sorry Kuroo I'll come out later I need to talk to Y/n," I say getting into my bed patiently waiting for her call.

"Fine dude but remember I'm actually here. You've never even met her yet you're obsessed," he smirks and walks out of my room. Almost as if on cue my phone rings I pick it up and hear Y/ns sleepy voice.

"Hey Kenma how is your morning?" Of course, she asks that first, she's so sweet.

"It's been good. I added some flowers around the cottage and made a farm for us. How was your date?" she took a few seconds to respond.

"It was fine. We went to a basketball game which I'm not completely into and it was really loud. I had to sit in the bathroom because I had a panic attack. Other than that it was fine."

"You know you can text me when that happens right? You shouldn't be alone during that kind of stuff." I fidget with my blanket as I wait for a response.

"Ya, I know. I didn't want to bother you though. Hey, what did you need to talk to me about earlier?" I get up off my bed to grab a notebook. I've been planing on asking her this for a couple of weeks I just needed a good way to ask so that way it didn't sound like I was trying to "hit on her"? I dont know.

"Oh um yeah okay so..." I read over my note and finally compose myself. "...I was wondering if you wanted to come to Japan to watch my team play in our tournaments and possibly go to nationals?" I mumble out. As I said that out loud I realized it sounded like I was asking her to move here. She's on summer break right now though so just maybe.

I muted myself and squealed. This is perfect. Other than when school starts this fall perfectly with me meeting him AND I'll get to stay in japan longer to watch him play. I unmute myself and quickly responded.

"Duh I would love too but you know we would have to a very detailed plan that out then get our parents on board and I would have to do something about school. Plus, I don't know how Dillion would react to me moving to another continent to watch another boy play a sport would go." I hear Kenma dramatically sigh.

"He's such an ass to you though. You guys fight all the time and you always give in to what he wants. I'm saying this because I'm your best friend. Break. Up. With. Him." I fall back on my pillows and look at the picture of me and Dillion on my nightstand.

"I know we fight a lot but he always makes up for it. I love him Kenma. I do admit that I come crying to you a lot about him and I'm sorry I shouldn't annoy you with that. He's a good guy I promise." there was a long silence and let out a yawn. "Well I should be going to bed now its like midnight here and I have to work in the morning. Bye Kenma have a good day."

"Goodnight y/n sleep well." the line cuts out, I plug in my phone and snuggle back into my sheets.

Oh just you wait Kenma I'll be in Japan sooner than you think.

I think the lack of dnf really does mostly stem from a tragic lack of Dream. He really hasn't been around a lot both on stream or elsewhere. He's barely active on Twitter and no one in the Dream Team had uploaded a regular video in a while. But that said, Dream and George are definitely still spending a lot of time together. They were definitely in teamspeak together anytime George wasn't actively playing in a match today and we also have scraps from Twitter that indicate that are spending a lot of time together. However, my best piece of evidence is Dream's miracle stream. Because George wasn't there to be on Dreams stream or entertain or even do things with Dream. He was working on his video. Sapnap was playing chess. They were just there to spend time with each other. Not necessarily interacting, just existing in each other's presence. We see them do this a lot like when they went on Twitter on Bad's stream. That's what really shows how close the Dream Team are. The way they just go about there business but together. I have little doubt that isn't a very common occurance where the three of them just sit in a call together while they edit and stuff. So I think dnf are fine. Dream probably just has a lot on his plate right now. Hopefully things ease up soon though because I miss him a lot :[

yeah for sure, this is the main thing i have at the top of the list as to why things might seem or feel a little different than usual, is because dream has a lot a lot a lotttt going on and is not able to be as active on the internet as before. which is totally chill! i don't mind at all if he stayed off for weeks as long as he takes care of his mental health first and foremost. this is what he loves - minecraft, youtube, streaming, etc. so i’d hate to see him forcing himself if he’s going through things that is making stuff not as enjoyable at the moment.

definitely - it’s weird because a part of me knows this but every time we see evidence that they did just spend all day talking or whatever, it still like makes me all warm and happy inside :’) because a lot of changed lately, they’ve been getting closer with other people, and sapnap has moved in with dream which obviously has made them a lot closer, and george is still not able to nor will he be able to travel for a long while right now, it’s just a lot! but to know they are still constantly talking - like dream and george playing chess minutes before george was meant to get on to play sapnap in the tournament - it’s just heartwarming, it’s that real genuine best friend energy and it always calms down because i try to be and sound as rational as possible but i cannot reiterate enough how bad of an overthinker i am and how i think the worst about situations sometimes :’)))) so it’s just nice. i really miss him too, i miss them all, but i want them to put themselves first!

Saw this video game tag thing pop up on my dash a few days ago. Wanted to do it.

1. First game you played obsessively? Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, I believe I was 5yo. Still waiting on that FF7 Remake treatment.

2. A game that has influenced you creatively? Writing, drawing, etc. Well if I play a game and like it, then I'll create sims of it. Does that count?

3. Who did you play with as a kid? My brother from the day I was born.

4. Who do you play with now? My brother FROM THE DAY I WAS BORN.

5. Ever use cheat codes? I wasn't lying when I made this post. {link}

6. Ever buy strategy guides? Yes! Mainly to look at the artwork though. (Don't need no guide!)

7. Any games you have multiple copies of? Lots of games, most being Left 4 Dead with 6 copies (3 Xbox 360, 1 PC case, 2 PC digitally.) What can I say, its a GOOD GAME!

8. Rarest/Most expensive game in your collection? Gold cartridge Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time (maybe that's rare?)

9. Most regrettable purchase? I don't regret my purchases, but I have received games I have never played like Cubix (PS2) no clue where that game came from, but I have it somehow. Madagascar (Xbox 360) came with my Xbox 360, never opened it from its case. And Monsters Inc. Scream Arena (Gamecube) or something... it was a gift.

10. Ever go to a midnight game release or stand in line for hours? No, because then I'd have to interact with people.

11. Have you ever made new friends from playing video games? I'm only friends with people BECAUSE of video games, so yes.

12. Ever get picked on for liking games? No, that'd be ridiculous.

13. A game you’ve never played that everyone else has? Probably a lot, I'd say Call of Duty, but I technically played CoD 1, 2, and 4. The campaign mode was alright, but I don't really care for CoD games at ALL.

14. Favorite game music? Koji Kondo and Grant Kirkhope are two BIG ones.

15. If it was a requirement to get a game related tattoo, what would you pick? Triforce is the most basic option, but I'd rather not get a tattoo.

16. Favorite game to play with your friends IRL? Super Smash Bros. Brawl with hacks, but that was over a decade ago.

17. Ever lose a friend over a game? No, that'd be ridiculous.

18. Would you date someone that hates gaming? No, that'd be RIDICULOUS.

19. Favorite handheld console? PSP. 3DS is great, but PSP Monster Hunter has ALL of my portable gaming memories. Like playing in school after End of Grade tests with my friend.

20. Game that you know like the back of your hand? Sims 4 I like to think I know everything about Left 4 Dead. Quite a bit about Monster Hunter, more so of a series though than a specific game.

21. Game that you didn’t like or understand as a kid but love now? I'd say Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. I loved it as a kid, but had a lot of complex pen & paper RPG mechanics that I never understood. I understand a lot more of it now, but its still complex as all heck. I just know you hit things, they die.

22. Do you wear game related clothing/accessories? That's the only thing I wear.

23. The game that you’ve logged the most hours into? Not sure so I'll list a few. Sims 4, Smash Bros. Brawl, Monster Hunter (its a series though), or Left 4 Dead

27. Game that makes you rage? I don't get mad at games, but I had a custom modded Hard Eight mutation in Left 4 Dead that is absolute bullsh*t!

29. What is your gaming set up? A giant wall of video game consoles spanning from NES to Switch, 4 TVs, but I sit at a desk with a PC.

30. How many consoles do you own? "I own every console that's ever existed." - I Don't Play Games When I Play Games (My STRENTH) original song by Smooth McGroove BUT no seriously I own 32 consoles including handhelds.

31. Does the 3DS and/or Virtual Boy hurt your eyes or give you headaches? Yes. 3DS gave me headaches though I only really played with the 3D feature in Ocarina of Time 3D. I think my eyes broke because I couldn't get my 3D to work very well after.

32. Did you ever play a game based on your favorite show/cartoon/movie/comic? Sure I play games based on a lot of things. Literally any anime game. If I had to pick Dragon Ball Xenoverse is kinda like a dream Dragon Ball game. Oh, Attack on Titan 2 is pretty neat too!

33. Did you ever have any bootleg games or plug-n-play games? Some SEGA plug-n-play thing once. Played it like once and now its lost to time (or my closet.)

34. Do either of your parents play video games? Yes. Mom and Dad played NES Super Mario Bros. My Dad went HARD at that game until he saved the Princess. Then he quit forever.

35. Ever work in a game store? Or do you have a favorite game shop? "Hi. Welcome to Gamestop!"I never want to hear that again, but it was my main store until I went full digital/ online orders.

36. Have you ever shed actual blood, sweat or tears over a game? No, I don't tend to get upset or emotional, but Bill dying in Left 4 Dead made me pretty pissed.

37. Have you played E.T. for the Atari 2600? Do you think that’s the worst game ever, or do you have another nomination? Never played it. I don't really play "bad" games, but maybe Sims 4.

38. A game you’re ashamed to admit that you like? The Sims 4

39. A sequel that you would die for them to make? Dragon's Dogma 2 WHICH I think is actually in development, so I'd have to say Fallout New Vegas 2. C'mon Bethesda you cowards, hand the keys back over to Obsidian so they can make another good Fallout game!

40. What to you think of virtual reality headsets or motion controls? Two part question, two answers. VR Headset to immerse in world, yes. Motion Controls, no.

41. A genre that you just can’t get into? MOBAs and MMOs. I don't like paying to keep playing.

42. Maybe it wasn’t your first game, but what was the game that started you on your path to nerdiness? Nintendo 64 opened me up to what video games could be as a kid. Sad to say my parents' NES didn't really do that for me. And years later Fallout 3 was a big game changer for me too.

43. Ever play games when you really should have been concentrating on something else? Every day of my LIFE.

44. Arcade machine that has consumed the most of your quarters? None. I'd rather emulate.

45. How are you at Mario Kart? Pretty dang good. 3-STARS MARIO KART WII, BABY!

46. Do you like relaxing games like Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon? Yes, both of those. I preferred when Animal Crossing had more character to it. New Horizons looks so pretty, but feels so bland compared to classic AC.

47. Do you like competitive games? No. Not really. Usually amongst friends or if I can get competitive against AI Bots. I love my machine bot friends cause they don't cry like 10 year olds when they lose.

48. How long does it take your to customize your player character? Too long. I've seriously restarted games because I wasn't happy with my character's appearance.

49. In games where you can pick your class, do you always tend to go for the same type of character? Yes, I am always the magic man, my brother is always brute warrior, and my friend is the ranger.

50. If you were a game designer, what masterpiece would you create? I don't really know. Honestly, I'd rather mod already good games to make them better than create something completely new.

51. Have you ever played a game for so long that you forgot to eat or sleep? No, that'd be ridiculous. But I've had a friend fall asleep playing games at my house 3 different times and currently dozes off during our Minecraft sessions. So, maybe that's not a completely ridiculous thing after all.

52. A game that you begged your parents for as a kid? Kirby 64 apparently. My brother tells me we had to count out pennies to buy it. I must've been too young with no recollection, but I believe it.

53. What’s your opinion on DLC these days? It's good if its not in the game's files from the beginning and is actually developed AFTER launch... and pre-order bonuses should be standard DLC a month or two later. Some games have content lost to time because of that pre-order bullsh*t.

54. Do you give in to Steam sales? Of course. If you want a game and its on sale then why not? I typically wait just for Steam sales to get games.

55. Did you ever make someone you hated in the Sims and did mean stuff to them? No? I typically make people and characters I like in Sims. I've made villains like Dio, but he's an anime villain and I don't really HATE him despite the horrible things he's done.

56. Did you ever play Roller Coaster Tycoon and kill off your guests? No. Never played that game.

57. Did you ever play a game to 100% or get all of the achievements? I try to for all the games I really like.

58. If you can only play 3 games for the rest of your life, which ones do you pick? The Sims 4, Skyrim, & Fallout: New Vegas. Mods make them live forever. Left 4 Dead and Monster Hunter are good choices too.

59. Do you play any cell phone games? Those aren't games.

60. Do you know the Konami Code? No? But I'll take a guess. Is it make an IP and forget it exists?

61. Do you trade in your games or keep them forever? Keep forever... even the bad ones.

62. Ever buy a console specifically to play one game? PS4 Pro for Monster Hunter World. It was basically for early access since the PC version was being developed and releasing after PS4, but I don't like waiting.

63. Ever go to a gaming convention or tournament? Sort of. Been to anime cons and walked into the gaming tournament rooms only to walk out less than 10 minutes later.

64. Ever make a TV or monitor purchase based on what would be best for gaming? No, but I'm going to be doing that soon, hopefully.

65. Ever have a Game Genie, Game Shark or Action Replay? Did it ever mess up your game’s save file? GameShark for N64, PS2, Gameboy, and Action Replay for Gamecube, DS, 3DS. And no not really, I would cheat responsibly... but there was this one time at school my friend and I borrowed another friend's Gameboy game, loaded it up with my Gameshark, tried playing, it crashed, loaded it back up, save file corrupted... we just stared at each other jaws dropped, "Here's your game back, dude. Make sure you don't play it til you get back home!"

66. Did you ever have have an old Nokia with Snake on it? No, but I remember seeing them on billboards in the game DRIV3R on PS2.

67. Do you have a happy gaming-related childhood memory you want to share? Every game I play is filled with happy memories (mostly.)

68. Ever save up a ton of tickets in an arcade to get something cool? These tiger plushes. My brother got white and I got orange. They were the coolest. Got a butt load of tickets from some jackpot spinning light game thing as I was good at the timing with repeated jackpot hits.

69. In your opinion, best game ever made? I've played quite a few masterpiece games, but to pick one, I'd say Fallout: New Vegas

70. Very first game you ever beat? Super Mario 64. I was a mere child on a Sunday morning and ate celebratory pancakes made by my Dad.

Newcomer’s impression of Nijisanji (October 2020)

When I first started watching Nijisanji clips at the start of October 2020, it only took me a few days to realize that there was no coming back - barring a life-changing event, there was no way I would stop watching them in the next few years.

I decided to go through the Nijisanji official website with my one-week’s worth of clip-watching and record my thoughts on each liver so that I would have something to look back on. My knowledge back then was completely based off the clips I watched, so it’s interesting to see how absolutely skewed some of my impressions were.

I also added some of my current thoughts now that I’m one year in. Maybe next year I’ll look back and wonder how the heck I ever thought some of these things.

Disclaimer: I’m not thinking too hard when I write this stuff. It’s opinion, not fact.

Below are the livers that I could recognize and name on the official website. I’ve kept the name as I remember them, so some of them might be nicknames depending on how I knew them.

(The entries were written progressively from one week to one month of starting to watch Nijisanji.)

Tsukino Mito: She’s the Iinchou! She seems to have been around for a long time. She’s very popular. Since she’s been around for a while, she has inspired other people to join Nijisanji. One of these is Kenmochi Touya, who she self-proclaimed as her son. I don’t know much about her content, but she has a nice voice and it seems that she can sing as well.

I didn’t yet know just how influential she was, but I knew enough to include it in the description. Although I don’t really watch her, I do occasionally check out clips and it’s interesting to see what she comes up with.

Himawari: She’s cute and stupid! In the Dokuzuhonsha family she’s the older sister. She’s very positive. Though I’ve seen her often in collabs, I haven’t seen many clips of her own content. I can’t add much except for her airheaded-ness. She has great sibling interactions with Kuzuha.

This description was clearly based on watching Dokuzuhonsha clips, haha. But I still agree about her positivity! Now I think of her as hard-working and very kind!

Sasaki Saku: She is well-known for her panda outfit, but she has different outfits now. She can be quite ruthless... though that’s a common trait among Nijisanji livers. Although I can’t think of anything in particular to say about her, I do like her and if there’s an interesting looking video with her, I’d like to click it.

Why did I have an image that Nijisanji is ruthless? For that matter, I wonder what clip gave me the impression that Sasaki is ruthless. Well, she can be blunt and a bit of a brat.

Kuzuha: This famous guy. He’s a vampire - he’s lived for a long time. He’s socially awkward and makes sudden non-sequitors in his solo streams. He forms a unit called ChroNoiR with Kanae. He sings by himself and with ChroNoiR. In the Dokuzuhonsha family he’s the younger brother. After collabing with Ritsuki and the awkward conversations that ensued, the weather deck was created. His video thumbnails mostly look the same (red). His streams primarily have to do with gaming. He’s fun to watch and he’s good at games.

I pretty much agree with this one. I watched a lot of Kuzuha clips in my first week, so the impression was pretty accurate. Congrats on 1M subscribers! He’s going far!

Kanae: He’s a person that bullies people in a comedic way. Lots of people like him, but they are understandably wary of him because he has a tendency to use his friends as bait. He has a psychopath side that he plays up to scare others. He’s very calm most of the time, but can get heated in FPS. His character is someone with amnesia. He’s never uncomfortable - he can take things as they come. He’s friends with Kuzuha. He’s also very good at games. He can lie with a straight face. I really like his videos. I’d like to watch more. His cat plush is Roto.

There were definitely a lot of clips of Kanae playing pranks on people. It ended up being half of this description lol. I can’t say it’s wrong, but there’s certainly more to Kanae than pranks. Now he gives me a feeling of motivation for self-improvement.

Lize: I’ve seen her in a few collabs. I like her design. I haven’t seen her enough to form a proper opinion and haven’t started diving into her content at all. She’s cute though and I would be interested in seeing what she does.

I still haven’t watched her too much even after all this time, but now I have the impression that she has interesting talks. Also, she likes Mito.

Ange: I’ve seen her a few times. Not a huge impression, but she seems fun and plays off well with others possibly? I would be interested in watching more of her.

“plays off well with others” - she’s a bit awkward, but that makes it more fun to watch. Her interaction with male members is funny to watch.

Shiishii: She’s cute! a cute voice too! I don’t think I’d watch her solo, but I think she would be good in collabs. I don’t know much about her.

Kinda rude to say I wouldn’t watch her solo? Though true enough, I have just been watching her in collabs. Too many livers in Nijisanji. >_<

Utako: I saw Mayu look through her profile, so I know about her love of BL, shota, and all degeneracy like that. Any video with her about those topics are bound to be fun. That’s what I like about Nijisanji! Shotacon allies with Akina.

I’ve only come to learn more about her degeneracy, and it’s consistent with my expectations. I only hear about them on the side though - haven’t gotten to the point of actually watching the streams.

Ryushen: Gender: unknown. Ryushen is cool, though I haven’t seen too much of them. I haven’t thought of watching any solo content for Ryushen. Probably would only watch if it was a collab with someone else I know.

I recognized Ryushen enough to think they were cool, but I didn’t mention singing at all!? How did I manage that?? Now Ryushen = good at singing and interesting content to me.

Ars: She is very very shy. She’s also cute though. She has a very cute voice. She seems to have a master-disciple relationship with Ex Albio based on Minecraft. Their interactions are very entertaining. Would like to see more of it.

There’s been some amount of Ebimaru content, past me would be happy - present me is happy. I watch her Minecraft streams occasionally. She’s really good at building stuff.

Yashiro: IT employee! A totally normal human. His streams seem pretty mellow... well, the only one I say was a fetish-adding dice game... But it was very fun! In the Dokuzuhonsha family, he’s the dad. He’s pretty conscientious and responsible. He also got drunk and fell asleep on stream. I like watching him, especially when he has fun with the other adults (Kagami, Chaika, Yumeoi)

I agree with this description. That fetish-adding dice game stream sure was fun. I’d nearly forgotten about it. I feel the need to mention rhythm games though.

Chihiro: She is very good at APEX. She was in a tournament with Kanae and Kuzuha as teammates and they got pretty far. She can be serious which shows how much she cares. She has a cute voice. I would click a video with if it looked interesting.

Chihiro = APEX. It only takes a week to figure that out huh.

Hoshikawa Sara: I know her from Minecraft collabs with Kanae. They’re like siblings. She’s always laughing. Her voice can be kind of annoying, but that’s the sort of annoying little sister vibe she gives me. She likes teasing people by calling them papa (Kanae and Yumeoi). When I watch her I know the tension will be high.

I still agree with this. The papa teasing is reserved for Yumeoi though. She has a lot of covers out though!

Kagami Hayato: CEO of Kagami Industrials/whatever company. Fans love giving him money. He gets easily flustered. He always speaks politely. He gets teased a lot and I like watching him as he gets teased and tries to stop it. He’s very pure. That all said, he does have a violent side (as expected of Nijisanji). In Ark, he wanted to start a war and really went all in for that. When he played Forest with Yumeoi, he got used to killing stuff. He also likes metal and has a great scream. I like how he is with the people he debuted with. He’s like a papa. He also sings and has model building streams. He’s not good at playing FPS. He feels a bit of rivalry with Chaika, but admires him. Also, Minecraft underground.

This description was just a dump of all the clips I watched about him wasn’t it? Haha, the first half is a good description still. I still like his voice and gap.

Debi Debi Debiru: A god? A devil? In any case, Debidebi Debiru is basically a religion? a cult? They are pretty small. They have a very unique voice. Beyond that, I don’t really know too much about them. They seem to have been around for a long time. A senpai to others.

What was I thinking when I wrote this? Well, now Debi is just a koala to me. A really impressive 3D though.

Belmond Banderas: This guy is a man among men. Awesome deep voice. He’s got a very cool vibe - I think lots of people must think he’s cool. I don’t know too much else. I’ve seen a few videos with him in them. His voice is so deep! He once had a collab with Sasaki Saku in Minecraft?

He’s not only cool, but nice too! But the strongest impression is still his voice.

Gundou Mirei: I know her mostly due to her ship with Kanda - GunKan. She’s a teacher in the virtual world and real world. She was once found out by her students since she uses the same voice. She likes money. She’s a tsundere type. GunKan is a popular ship. Hoshikawa ships them and at least once pretended to be their child.

lol I don’t remember why I wrote that she likes money.

Mayuzumi Kai: His character is a hacker. His greeting is Domo. When he first joined Nijisanji he did streams where he read through the Nijisanji members’ profiles to get to know them. He was tied with Debidebi as best communication skills by Nijisanji staff. He’s got a really calm demeanor. Low energy. His English pronunciation is very good. He’s the type to play tricks on his colleagues, it seems (summer festival with the puff fish). He is a group called BLUE with Ars and someone else... Lize? I like what I’ve seen of him so far. He wants to be more popular with female viewers.

It started off well. Then Blues... It’s Uiha! Uiha is the third member! I clearly just picked a character with a somewhat blue colour. I also didn’t seem to be aware of the whole 2434 system thing yet. Now I see him as someone interesting and responsible. I sometimes listen to his zatsudan before sleeping since he has such a calm voice.

Hanabatake Chaika: He wears a maid outfit. He’s very eccentric. He references Jojo a lot. He’s on good terms with Kagami. He seems to be pretty successful. He even has his own card. His streams seem fun, especially his 3D streams. There seems to be a fluffy pink thing that he interacts with in 3D streams.

The mention of his 3D streams is good! Agreed!

Dola: A fire drake. In the Dokuzuhonsha family, she’s the mother. She’s good at singing and dancing. She’s weak to horror, but not as much as Kuzuha. Her famous quote is “o cha wo nomimasu”. She has a nice dynamic with Yashiro.

Another description that was written mostly based on Dokuzuhonsha clips, I believe. And the o cha wo nomimasu clip.

Joker: I only know him from the twister game. He seems to talk about dicks a lot?

I fell for the Joker reading. It’s Joe Rikiichi! Also, this is what happens when you try to describe someone with only one clip. Now he’s someone too cultured for me to understand. And he has a really good singing voice.

Ex Albio: The hero! He’s apparently quite lucky. He gives off the vibe of a main character who starts out clueless but gradually gets stronger. His Minecraft arc with his master Ars is very entertaining. His content seems to be very fun. I would like to watch more videos about him... In particular, I’m curious about his Minecraft house.

This is very based on Minecraft videos. But somehow I also knew about his luck. Recently, I have been enjoying his kusoge streams, so I definitely agree that his content is very fun. He somehow makes stupid games look so fun (I absolutely won’t play them myself though).

Kenmochi Toya: The lolicon master! Though it appears he’s also okay with shotas. He’s often shipped with Gaku as Togabito. He loves lolis. He does some skits with himself (Touko, Marshmallows). He’s an entertaining guy to watch. He made a bet with an artist vtuber and got her to make a loli stream. He’s good at tetris.

So much loli in this description lol. The shota mention is from Aki. That last comment about tetris is absolutely just from the clip with Shigure Ui. I’ve been watching more Kenmochi lately - he is very entertaining to watch. He keeps my attention easily when I watch him.

Alice: She seems to have been around for a while. All I know about her is that she’s learning how to play the acoustic guitar, so Kuzuha declared her as a guitar rival.

Now I know her as the liver that’s more popular on Bilibili than Youtube.

Saegusa Akina: His dream is to go to Budokan. He’s a huge Kanae fan and hangs out with him off stream often. He’s a shotacon. He sings well. He’s paired with Aizono to make Benizuwaigani. Their first meeting was very teetee and they ate cake and exchanged gifts on Christmas eve. Very teetee. He apparently calls Shellin master in Minecraft. I’m curious about that.

I pretty much agree with this, but there should be more emphasis on how good he is at singing!

Yumeoi Kakeru: He’s ranked 1st among Nijisanji staff for best communication. He’s very well-spoken. In Forest streams with Kagami, he shows off his psychopath side by happily killing all manner of living beings. He enjoys teasing too. He also sings. I don’t know much else, but I enjoy watching him.

Again, why is the singing an afterthought? His identity is singer songwriter after all. I also need to mention his machine gun speech though.

Kazaki Morinaka: She’s a loli but can also transform into an adult form. That’s the extent of my knowledge.

This is true. I mostly know her personality from Morigusa collabs and I also like her singing now too!

Ibrahim: The oil prince. He’s a merchant type. He likes money. His place is Minecraft has elaborate architecture. He sometimes plays with Kanae and Kuzuha which is where I first saw him. He joined the Alpha Slayers in ARK after some water disputes. He’s a pretty interesting guy overall. He’s got text-to-speech for his superchats.

I really like Ibrahim now! He’s seriously a really nice person. He’s also somehow able to be really cute! I like how his streams are straightforward and interesting. I like how he interacts with his viewers too. He gives a close sort of feeling.

Melissa: I saw a video with her playing FPS with Kanae maybe? But I don’t remember much about her.

Whoa! How is there not a single mention of singing?? Also that was probably the clip with Kuzuha I was thinking of. But no singing???? Now, it’s pretty much all that I know her for. Her singing voice is actually amazing!

Fuwa: His character is a host. He can sing well. I’ve listened to his Call Boy? a bunch. I actually haven’t watched many of his videos, but would like to look into him more eventually.

I’ve gotten hooked on Fuwa! So I’ve definitely looked into him more! I still really like Call Boy. I absolutely loved his 3D though! I watched it so many times! And I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve listened to the 3D live song clips that he uploaded separately. His personality is so good! His expressiveness and energy! I also really like how hard he tries and how he always tries to do his best to make his viewers happy. He streams so much that I can’t keep up with him too well though. x_X

Ririmu: She has a very unique voice. Her character is a demon or devil maybe. Something supernatural. She has a pairing with Uzuki Kou. I don’t watch her though, so I don’t know much else. She has a unique voice.

She’s a succubus! I’ve watched a couple of streams with her. Not enough to get a good grasp of her character, but Pacific Ririmu was hilarious! I got to see a lot of different interactions there, but considering the rules of the stream, it isn’t exactly reflective of her true interactions with others.

Ritsuki: She’s a very elaborate builder in Minecraft though she started as a beginner. Her character is an alien, so she experimented on stuff. She likes to create things that will be used by everyone like the summer festival location. She’s a good girl. A bit shy. It was during her collab with Kuzuha that he first used the weather deck. I’d like to see more of her Minecraft creations.

I haven’t seen much of her Minecraft still!! Her museum is really impressive though.

Shellin: His character is a detective. He looks cool. He seems good with people. For some reason he was a protected person in ARK and he got kidnapped by the Alpha Slayers. Shellin can be really loud which contrasts with his soft voice. He talks to himself even when alone. He’s funny to watch, but I can’t find many videos with him.

Right now, I’m looking forward to whatever he’s planning for the 3D debut. The most I’ve seen him is from the Iiheya netto radio. Or does narration for Lever Gacha count? I like his interactions with Kaida! In general I like how excited he gets.

Mashiro: I don’t know much of him other than the fact he’s male but looks as cute as a girl. And he did some kind of RTA for some action game?

He’s cute for sure. And he’s also always doing something horror-related.

Kanda: He’s very cool. He’s hardworking and honest. Though he might be best known for GunKan, my first encounter with him was a subbed clip of him talking with Mayuzumi about how he wanted to be more popular with female audiences and his interest in voicing BL. I admire his drive to improve himself. He also has a background with being bullied, dropping out of school, experiencing a terrible work environment, until he finally went back to school and enjoyed it everyday. Going back to GunKan, their interactions are very fun and there’s always so much energy in their interactions. It’s fun to see his eyes. Also, he’s friends with Mayuzumi.

Kanda is really cool. His control over how he presents himself is really impressive and almost scary. I can’t forget how in his presentation about how to speak clearly he said that you should always know what you want to say before you speak.

Uzuki Kou: I haven’t watched many videos of him. He’s a bit strange. He’s got a pairing with Ririmu. Together they are apparently pretty twisted. Beyond that, I don’t know too much about him.

I still don’t know too much about him, but he’s apparently good at speaking. Also nabe rap.

Shiba: The dog. That’s all I know.

The cute dog. Also has IRL stuff going on.

Aizono Manami: The other half of Benizuwaigani! She’s a maid. She’s really nice. She can put up well with others. She gives a big sister kind of feeling. I actually don’t know that much about her individually since most of what I see of her is in context with Akina.

I’ve seen her a bit since, but I can’t think of much else to add.

Fumi: I know her name and face. I feel like I should respect her for some reason, but I don’t remember. She is part of Sanbaka alongside Hoshikawa and someone else. She gets along well with Kanda. I don’t know much about her.

That last sentence there really couldn’t be more right! Sanbaka??? Neither of them have anything to do with that! I clearly somehow got it mixed up with Orihimeboshi somehow. What a mysterious entry... Now I know a bit about her from Fukeizai.

Nagao Kei: He’s loud and chaotic, but he’s also surprisingly smart. His loud voice is also good at singing. Actually, his streams are apparently very loud too. His voice is a bit nasally and it also sounds like Ibrahim’s voice. He’s very childish when he’s with VALZ, but with his senpai he’s more serious. He memorized the Keep talking and don’t explode manual. I want to watch that one. I also want to listen to his covers. I’d like to know more and more about Nagao Kei!

Nagao = sontaku. I have listened to his covers since and I’m interested in how far he’s going to take his lore. He comes up with a lot of unique stream ideas.

Gwelu Os Gar: A married man! He’s got a statue in Minecraft and Ark. He’s a fun guy in the collabs I’ve seen, but I don’t know much about him.

He’s somehow always involved in some interesting plan. Right now, I’m rooting for his 10-year-old PC. Endurance stream to 1M let’s go!

Suzuki Masaru: He’s a shota. He was once in a collab with Utako and Akina... that was interesting. He once came across Kanae’s slave ranch in Minecraft. Kanae was scary. Recently, I found out that Masaru has something to do with Kai Mayuzumi’s lore.

The shota that’s good at ASMR... that sort of introduction from the gasbag race is now imprinted in my mind. On the side, I also think of him as a member of Raindrops. I don’t think I’ve actually watched any of his streams (ASMR aside...).

Kasumi: She’s graduating. She’s involved with Mayuzumi’s lore.

She graduated right as I got started watching Nijisanji. I think I did see her very last stream back then.

Kaida Haru: He’s finally here! I’ve been very slowly adding to this, so it’s already be 1 month - almost - that I’ve been watching vtubers. Just about three weeks now. Kaida Haru is the one I decided to support. He has a good face and voice.

What about Kaida do I like? First of all I need to talk about his face and voice. He’s also good at guitar and singing and his taste in music is pretty similar to mine, so I know a lot of the songs he sings. His voice can be very loud and he plays with his voice a lot to make sounds. He’s bullied by a lot of people, but that’s just their way of getting along with each other. It shows how loved he is. He’s overall a really nice guy and he’s quite considerate. He can be serious too. Also, he apparently gets flamed easily.

One thing that makes me realize the passage of one year is the position of Kaida in this list. This list was ordered by the number of subscribers. Last year this time he didn’t even have 100k and now he’s got over 300k! It’s nice to continue supporting him for the past year, and I’m a happy fan. He does a lot.

Fushimi Gaku: He is friends with Kenmochi Touya and together they make Togabito. Some people ship them but they don’t especially like that. I don’t know too much about Gaku though.

Peace! I checked out OhaGaku once or twice and his Togabito stuff a bit. He feels like a nice senpai. Although I don’t really watch him, whenever I come across him (like in totsumachi) he always seems like a cool guy.

Aki Suzuya: I don’t know her

*him. Apart from Kenmochi’s obsession with him, I still don’t know him. I really, really like his cover of flos with Kenmochi though.

Kitakouji Hisui: She’s extroverted - very able to talk. I don’t know much of her. My image of her is from dogeza for breaking the lantern tree of Kaida.

She has a really cool adult form/outfit!! She also sings well. I think she’s interesting but I admit I haven’t seen much from her in the past several months.

Genzuki: This genius! He can sing, compose music, mix music, edit video, play games. He’s so powerful! Multiple instruments! Genius! He’s good at talking! Entertaining. I’m curious about the lore too. He also has a scary story about his memory. But I really like him. He’s got a very vocaloid-based library of music so very nostalgic! <3

I still admire his music so much! I’ve listened to all of his piano streams and they are very inspiring. His music stream lengths can go for a scary long time. Just listening to him talk is interesting especially when he talks about music.

Natsume: She seems nice. A good person. I know her most for the lantern tree story. She’s very cute. She just got a new outfit today.

I haven’t learned much else about her.

Kyoko Todoroki: I saw her in the singing relay. She seems nice, though I don’t know much about her.

Thanks to NijiFes, now I know she has a really good sense of fashion. And she can draw well. I haven’t seen much else of her though.

Gilzaren: I don’t know much about him, but his voice doesn’t match his model. He can also sing. I’ve listened to his songs.

I’ve managed to watch him live! It feels like an accomplishment. I’ve also spotted him in comment sections. It’s like seeing a unicorn.

Harusaki Air: The prince. He doesn’t stream much, probably because of his RL job.

I like watching him for casual streams. Since I know he has a day job, there’s a bit of a feeling of “casually playing games after work” that I like to imagine.

Naruse Naru: He does the voice drama club.

And he’s super good at Mario Kart! He’s also really cute and has a good voice. He’s been getting more popular! I still need to listen to some of the voice drama club - I’ve only listened to a couple.

Of course, there were a bunch of livers that I couldn’t name. Some are understandable, and others I wonder how I could have missed them.

Era Otogibara: Graduated.

Lulu Suzuhara: Graduated.

Kaede Higuchi: Deron. She’s very rough. I mostly know her singing and the part that leaves an impression is the screaming. Also she did an anime OP.

Roa: I have only ever seen her through clips... Will she return?

Toko Inui: Super nice voice! She can sing live incredibly well!

Rin Shizuka: I get the impression she streams alone often? She does stream on twitch.

Mikoto Rindou: She is good at singing, she has a good voice (narration and speaking), she is athletic enough to dance and do a cartwheel, and she is cute. Even though I think all of this, I still haven’t really watched her, haha...

Rion Takamiya: Ojou. She’s pretty fun with Debi. I also like when she played around with Fuwa’s radio.

Sister Claire: Dogma is good. She has a very angelic voice. Our seiso representative in Nijisanji.

Kana Sukoya: Crazy smart. And how is she able to do everything she does??? Just doing nursing alone should be crazy, but to stream and sing and voice act too?? It’s only understandable that she decided to take a break to focus on her studies even though with the rate she releases content it doesn’t really feel like a break.

Keisuke Maimoto: He has some pretty intense stories (from watching clips). It feels like he’s someone with a lot of life experience.

Rena Yorumi: Magician! I like her! She’s got fun interactions in Minecraft and ARK. SMC is cute too.

Nui Sorciere: I don’t really watch her, but she plays RPGs a lot is the impression I have. Sorry, but I can’t help but think of “haitenakunaidesuka??”.

Meiji Warabeda: I know her best as a member of Raindrops. I don’t know much of her other activities as a liver.

Machita Chima: Freesia! No, but she has a really wonderful voice and a very cute design. I’ll tune into her utawaku occasionally.

Tamaki Fumino: Noraneko. At first, I would question the veracity of claims of her happenings, but now I’ve come to accept them.

Kokoro Amamiya: Dragon Girl. She’s cute and I like how she interacts with Kaida in contrast to that cuteness, haha.

Furen E. Lustario: Her design is very cool. She is really excitable which is fun to watch.

Petit Ratna: She does ASMR... I don’t watch her much, but my earliest impression is probably from when she invited Kuzuha in ARK.

Fuyuki Hakase: She can sing well. I really like her Gunjou. I don’t watch her actively, but I have had her minecraft streams play in the background before.

Eru: I am not going to even try her full name. I know her as a member of Raindrops. I’m sure there’s more to her, but I really haven’t watched much of her... I feel like I remember something APEX though... (You can say that about almost any Nijisanji liver though).

Uiha Aiba: Will she come back to streaming? What happened with the lore?? But her 3D debut was amazing and her constant singing and dancing covers are very impressive. They come out at such a pace that I haven’t been able to keep up so there are a bunch I haven’t seen.

Tomoe Shirayuki: She’s beautiful. All her MVs have really good art. Partly due to her 3D debut, I can’t help but think of her as an S...

Levi Elipha: She has a really powerful voice! And yet the gap with her normal speaking voice is so cute! The way she acts is also cute.

Ema August: She drinks a lot... for some reason that’s what I think of her. She has an adult form too.

Riri Yuuhi: She’s really cool. If you asked me for who the cool girl of 2434 is, it’s Riri.

Ichigo: I don’t know much about her. She doesn’t seem to be too active?

Mugi Ienaga: I don’t know much about her either. I’ve listened to some of her songs, but her part in Unknown Mother Goose is the one that I really remember.

Marin Hayama: Her mouth is always open in my mind. I wonder why? But I don’t know much about her. In the song werewolf I remember she had pretty dark lyrics.

Sou Hayase: She’s got a really cool singing voice! Apart from her singing, I probably see her the most in B-grade Variety.

Sayo Amemori: Another one who doesn’t stream much. I caught one of her streams live and I didn’t know what she was talking about. The quality of the video was really low though. Apparently that’s normal for her though, so I feel like I got the authentic experience.

Eli Conifer: She can play the flute. She went all out in the Koshien Siren tournament. She seems to do the thing where she duplicates herself to sing very well. Her voice is very cute.

Youko Akabane: I know her most for KanaeYou, but she seems like a nice person. Apart from those interactions, I see her sometimes in ARK clips.

Mao Matsukai: Very energetic! Her 3D debut showed off a lot of different appeal points. Her chat seems to like to bully her.

Luis Camie: A phantom thief?? She plays off well with Shellin. It’s fun to see their interactions, though I’ve only seen a couple. She has a bit of an airheaded kind of entertaining appeal.

Moira: The goddess. I don’t know much about her. She does seem nice and able to talk well. It looks like she gets along with her generation.

Naraka: Apparently her voice sounds like Maaya Sakamoto? I remember her singing is nice. She took part in VSaikyou I believe, but I don’t really watch her.

Mahiro Yukishiro: I recall she isn’t that popular, but I have heard some of her singing. I feel like I don’t see her stream that often?

Haruka Onomachi: She tries hard to appeal to English speakers. She also does ASMR. I don’t really watch her, but her on screen translator is interesting.

Hoshizora Kirame: I believe she’s good at drawing. I still don’t know much about her though.

Yamagami Karuta: A tengu! She has the image of being very pure though. I also don’t really watch her so I can’t say too much.

Miyako Seto: Photography club. She’s a fan of Kuzuha... but I don’t really watch her so I can’t say much.

Hina: She writes scripts. I don’t think she streams much at all anymore.

Momo Azuchi: She had a redesign at one point. I haven’t watched her.

Sango Suo: Absolutely amazing acting ability. I’ve seen a few examples where she acts with others and it’s very impressive. I haven’t seen her solo streams though.

Rine Yaguruma: I don’t know much about her.

Kohaku: Mela! is a banger. Unfortunately I don’t know much about her aside from that.

Akane Asahina: She’s been releasing a lot of high quality covers in high frequency and she makes a lot of effort to reach out to western fans. I’m not watching her, but I’m rooting for her success.

Tsumugu Kataribe: Library ghost. Will she ever stream again? (Have never seen her before).

Past Life AU!

Blue Lions

Alright, so I got this idea from looking at fanart in the Ashe tag that featured the blue lions in their school outfits and in modern attire. The basic premise is that the game is essentially everyone’s past life and in modern day they’re past lives are starting to leak in.

Dimitri:

He’s still a prince of Fargaus but the monarchy has sort of become figure heads while other politicians help make decisions. Dimitri gets final say but he definitely knows shit gets filtered out.

He grows up with the dork squad of Ingrid, Felix, and Sylvain because I want those shenanigans!

He still gets ptsd and survivors guilt, but it’s from more of a 9/11-Ish event. Like he was at a political building when it got bombed to shit.

But since it’s modern day, our boi gets some mcfucking therapy and meds and he’s properly taken care of. He still gets audiovisual hallucinations but he’s more easily able to cope

Then he started getting dreams of his past life. His therapist can’t make heads or tails of the dreams since it sounds fucking bonkers. They try and say maybe it’s an elaborate relapse but Dimitri knows that isn’t the case

He tries to deal with the dreams, and the eventual flashbacks that happen, by himself. He didn’t think anyone would believe him if he tried to explain it.

He does eventually tell Dedue and, hey howdy hey, Dedue’s been going through the same Ra damn thing!

It’s mostly freelance work as he goes to culinary school. While he does live with lord Lanato, who is more of an entrepreneur, he wants to make money on his own than beg for it.

In the past, me mostly shop lifted from places like Walmart so he could feed his younger siblings. Lanato actually catches him one time and he’s like “this child is an awful victim of circumstance, I’m adopted him right fucking now”

When he starts getting all the dreams and flashbacks, he shrugs them off as his online work bleeding into his psyche. He’s played plenty of knight-like characters for that to be true.

He mostly posts selfies, albeit with a different person in each photo.

Nobody really calls him out on it because he’s not a scumbag about being with a lot of people and he’s upfront about it so it’s like even if someone’s mad at him, it’s their fault since they knew going in that he’s a serial flirt

He does have a private account on Instagram and Tumblr so he can be a fanboy without anyone getting on his case. He ended up becoming Bernadetta’s friend without knowing it :P

He doesn’t think much of the memories from his past life, since they pretty much the same. The biggest difference being that he’s straight in his “dreams” and open Pan in the present

Once Felix confides in him about his own dreams is when Sylvain realizes its a Problem(tm)

She’s secretly a horse girl, but doesn’t say shit about it because she doesn’t want to be reduced down to a stereotype

She has more of a low key freak out since she’s started to remember Pegasi first and that’s a “wtf!?!?” Situation all on its own

He works as part of Dimitri’s secret service except he’s not so secret. Dimitri sees him as one of his best friends and if a prince can’t bend the rules for friends then wtf is the point?

He also low key helps make sure Dimitri is fed and taken care of because the poor boi will forget his meds and will need his friend

He doesn’t think much of his memories, rationalizing it as his brain being weird. He then thinks otherwise when Dimitri goes paler than paper when he casually bring it up
