one of my favorite things about zedaph is that on a server full of people that find strange and oft-overlooked minecraft mechanics or rare events and then see just how far they can push them in the name of spectacle or efficiency or world-breaking, zed is over here finding these mechanics in order to do the weirdest things he can think of in as entertaining a manner as possible

like i 100% have faith in zedaph's theoretical ability to be just as efficient or spectacular or world-breaking. if he wanted to do that stuff, i trust that he absolutely could. but thats so far from being his priority. instead, hes going to spend around a week of irl time focused entirely on eventually having the good luck to spawn in something insanely rare so that he can convert it into something even rarer, the result of which being something that 99% of the server reacts with complete and utter shock that it even exists in the first place, just because its zany and funny and he wanted to. and i love that

Jeff Grubb: "Next story. Dragon Age: The Veilguard will reveal its release date in August. […] Last I heard, is it’s gonna be October. I think that’s, that was like weeks ago, that could have changed, obviously they didn’t give a date for a reason". --- Co-host Jan: “We also had parts of the Dragon Age: The Veilguard team in the Fandom Comic-Con […] to interview during [SDCC]. And, Grubb, I love it when I am convinced to play a game based off of the enthusiasm of the folks making the game” Jeff: “Agreed, absolutely.” Jan: “There’s PR and marketing talk going on all the time, and like trailers, they can wow you, they can sway you, but seeing a passionate dev that has devoted years of their life to a game, it’s infectious, and I want to see the game that they are waxing so poetically about.” Jeff: “Yeah, I agree with you 100% on that. Because, every time I hear anything from/about this game, or we hear publicly about this game, people seem pretty confident about it behind the scenes, and that is infectious as you said. I’m looking here, it’s still October, late October though, so, again that could shift between now and when they actually announce the date, but I expect that probably to be the time, because it’s been the time, like, what they’ve been aiming for, for a while now, for the last few months, so late October for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. It feels like a really good holiday game, feels like exactly the kind of RPG people will be wanting at that time, so yeah.” --- Jeff: "I'm looking forwards to this game now, more and more. I think that the game will have another chance here to make that new first impression, because that Summer Game Fest trailer, I think, confused a lot of people, the cinematic trailer.
