Tomorrow in Yekaterinburg an American woman will be sentenced for donating $51 to the Armed Forces of Ukraine 33-year-old Russian and US citizen Ksenia Karelina (Havana) admitted her guilt in financing the Ukrainian Armed Forces, SOTAvision reports . Ksenia is charged with treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) for transferring $51 to the Ukrainian foundation Razom for Ukraine on the third day of the war in 2022. Today, Karelina's parents were questioned in the case. According to lawyer Mikhail Mushailov, the parties will debate tomorrow and a verdict will be announced. US Consul General Stuart Wilson came to support Ksenia. The case is being heard by Judge Andrei Mineev, who also delivered the verdict in the case of Evan Gershkovich. The trial is closed to the press and the public. The daughter of Yekaterinburg businessman Pavel Karelin, Ksenia Karelina, moved to the United States in 2015, and in 2021 she got married there and received American citizenship. The girl was detained on January 27 this year, when she came to visit her family in her hometown. She was sentenced to 14 days of arrest for swearing in a public place; presumably, at the same time, security forces found information on her phone about the transfer of funds to a Ukrainian fund. Two weeks later, upon leaving the special detention center, Karelina was detained by FSB officers and charged with treason. On February 8, Ksenia was sent to a pretrial detention center. 📍 Sverdlovsk Regional Court, Yekaterinburg, Moskovskaya St., 120, Judge Mineev, Courtroom 5a, starts at 11:00

so, today we, russian queers, may become "extremists" by decision of russian supreme court and thus our existence will be silenced and erased. any queer activism will be impossible for us. I don't know what to do anymore. I was heartbroken when they passed the laws about "gay propaganda" and transgender people, now I'm just numb. I don't want to escape. I just want to live safely in my own country.
please hear us.

Discord is officially blocked in Russia
anti-DPI programs can handle Discord here's Goodbye DPI w/ GUI here's ByeDPI, possibly nicest solution for Android other variants can be found here
regarding VPNs - Windscribe is still the real one, w/ non-standard protocols and special "hostile network" switch, one problem though - limited traffic, so you most likely have to juggle it w/ some noname VPN apps or proxy add-ons
note that it's illegal in Russia to talk about blocks circumvention, so if you don't live in Russia, please share this post, so your followers, who live there could see it and use it

I have found the best ally
Straight and cis people will say that they are allies, but you will NEVER measure up to my dentist.
Me: "Hey, is it ok if I can change my name on my info from [DEADNAME] to Aspen?"
Random woman that I wasn't even talking to in the chair next to me: "Honey, if that's the name you had at birth, [DEADNAME] is your only name."
My dentist, very slowly turning her rolley chair towards the woman: "Shush."
Random woman: "Excuse me?"
Destist: *closes privacy curtain while staring bullets at the lady*
Me: *pissing myself laughing*
My dentist while changing my name in my info (reminder that English is not her first language, she immigrated from Russia): "There, Sai, you have pretty boy teeth. Smile and make all girls swoon."
Me not having the heart to tell her I'm not transmasc but I'm Agender, and still pissing myself laughing: "Thank you [DENTIST NAME]."
Edit: Ok, this has gotten alot of attention, but right now my other posts is what really needs attention. I have a few fundraisers for people trying to evacuate Palestine and Gaza, but also a diabetic who needs her insulin shot. Please please please, go to my page and at the very least repost those posts, have the day you deserve and free Palestine🇵🇸

i just remembered this British backpacking youtuber wanker who went to chechnya (he straight up said it like "chech-nyar") and he was getting a taxi ride and complimenting the car and saying it meant the guy was rich and this Chechen guy was like "you've come here from England and can pay for taxi rides, you are rich. I'm literally a taxi driver" and the guy got so fucking huffy about it because his whole brand was how low cost tourism he was. really helped cement my dislike for cunts who go to a much poorer country, start acting like they're in and savvy with the locals (while gentrifying their eating spots etc) and getting all white guilty about their position as a tourist with money in a strong currency with strong wages. what a cunt.
