The fierce , the short and the bad cosplay
Fanfic prompt:
Honestly triforce heroes fierce deity might actually be a deity
Because it can shoot beams and everything and is found in the den of trials
It is a genuine quest to get it not an easy to access skin that simply looks cool
So despite the toon style making it look cutesy and stuff that is in fact a deity lol
I just like to believe that Legend stays the size he was as a hylian ... short
The fierce deity and the short deity lol
And the cosplayer who has a high quality cosplay and just awkwardly stands next to them both
But like I like to believe that the fierce deity in triforce heroes is a version that Legend actually has full control over
Not because it is weaker but because he proved himself to it and then decided to mentally beat the shit out off it till he had full control over it
Which is why he can use it next to a bunch of people and in tournaments
He simply teabagged it into submission
Time trying to intimidate the chain with the fierce deity : “this is dangerous *yapping* what destroyed the demon *more yapping* blah blah … not going to use it lol
Legend : “oh, you mean that one “
Then Time watched in horror as legend did a sailor moon transformation *the way you casually change entire outfits in triforce heroes*
Legend : “yeah , it’s pathetic I know … but the beam is cool”
Time proceeded to lag and watch in fear as Legend just kept casually talking to people and stuff
Time after he stopped lagging: “Legend WTF how did you even get it”
Legend : “… broke into its house … you know the usual”
Time: “WTF man , how…,?’?!!…. Why !?!?… have you fought a god or something”
Legend *having an oracle of ages and seasons flashback* : “nah, that was five hundred years ago when I fought oni x,…on-ax ,… fire dude who possessed din and Nayru took control over the concept of time and tried to destroy the whole world… I had fun controlling time and also changing the seasons … good times”
Time : *screaming , crying, throwing hands up in the air*
The chain witnessed the exchange in concern
Time meanwhile was contemplating his existence and having a little something called an existential crisis
Time then proceeds to think that legend is the fierce deity
Because what the hell does … FIVE FUCKNG CENTURIES mean in this concept… he is meant to be the hero of time
Not ‘HIM’ … he is the hero of time ,… not the fucking hero of legends
What the hell is Legend…
THE FUCKING GODDESS OF TIME
Is that why he wears a dress
Because he surly can’t travel back in time 5 centuries… how did legend even do that
HOW…!?,.!!.!?
#linked universe#lu legend#lu wind#lu time#lu four#lu warriors#lu sky#lu wild#lu hyrule#lu twilight#and the chain is so fucking confused#they were having fun telling stories and suddenly Time starts screaming at the top of his lungs#and Legend turns into the fierce deity#and only Warriors knew that it is a very dangerous god#and apparently#legend is in full control and also ancient or something#also how does he know the goddesses and who was the ‘flame guy’#triforce heroes#majora's mask#time travel shenanigans#time has no meaning#his entire existence was a lie.. he isn’t special or anything#oracle of ages#oracle of seasons#loz nayru#loz din#hyrule warriors#hero of legend

DANDADAN x WINDWAKER pt 2 Wanted to mention btw! In this AU, rather than a love for actor Takakura Ken, to make it make more sense, Tetra likes the fictional video game protag "Link" from Twilight Princess, who is a strong, silent type of guy, the "ideal bf" she believes. Her friends pick on her for it sometimes bc men like that don't exist. Or so they thought. (Nah jk Okarun!Link is a fucking dork)
#dandadan#legend of zelda#zelink#link#tetra#thank u jeroesworld for the idea i didnt think to make wind waker link turn into fierce deity

It was supposed to have been a relaxing family trip. Zelda had promised a place for them to stay in Castle Town, and they would have had the opportunity to just see the city and not worry about selling anything or doing knightly duties.
Malon should have known better. As much as Link preferred his domestic life, adventure always seemed to find him… and he was all too eager to answer the call.
She didn’t mind going on an adventure with him, honestly. She’d kind of always wanted to. What she hadn’t wanted, though, was to drag their daughter into it as well.
Their journey to Castle Town had been interrupted by beasts, rerouting them towards the forest to the south, near Lake Hylia. It was adjacent to the Lost Woods, and Link claimed it was mostly safe - at the very least it was safer than being exposed in Hyrule Field. He hadn’t wanted to engage out in the open with Malon and Navi so vulnerable, so this had been the next best thing.
The only issue was that Link was injured. And ill on top of it - he’d been coming down with something but had insisted on the family still going to Castle Town, outwitting Malon’s arguments by saying Well this is a vacation, darling, it’ll be restful!
Sighing, Malon leaned against a tree, her daughter nestled safely in her arms. Restful was not the word she’d use for this.
“We outran them,” Link noted as he watched behind them, pacing. With each step he took he faltered, steadily developing a limp.
“Honey, you can’t fight like this,” Malon said worriedly. “We should just stay here until they go away.”
“They might try to look for us,” Link argued. “Besides, the woods aren’t the safest either. It’s just that nothing’s going to go out of its way to attack us. But we can’t stay here.”
“You’re hurt,” Malon reiterated, pointing to the blood on his leg. She’d already wrapped the wound, insisting on taking care of it as soon as possible, but that didn’t mean it was all better now. She really wished they’d packed some milk - of all the times for them to be lacking their own product!
Link sighed heavily, sitting on the forest floor. His brow was furrowed deeply, holding that scowl he used to when worries plagued his mind. Malon reached over to put a reassuring hand on his shoulder, but to be honest she wasn’t much less anxious. This entire situation was a disaster, and she was frankly starting to get scared.
Link watched her a moment and then looked down. He was definitely deliberating something specific now, based on the way his eyes moved back and forth, one argument clashing with another in some kind of internal debate.
“What is it?” Malon asked.
“Nothing,” Link answered, shaking his head. “Can you do me a favor?”
Malon perked up in an instant, eager to help. “Of course, darling.”
“Can you help me get this boot off?”
Malon glanced at his injured leg and nodded. First, she looped a sling around her to let Navi rest while freeing her arms up. As she bent down to gingerly assist Link, suspicion tickled at the back of her brain. Link rarely asked for help - the man triaged himself by situation, not injury. Out in the field he would write off a broken bone as an inconvenience, but in the safety of their home a cold was the deadliest disease on earth.
But this situation wasn’t safe. Why was he suddenly so compliant? What was he up to?
Malon was about to ask as she reached for the boot, when a bright light flashed, warmth filled the air, and Link jerked with a muffled yell. Malon gasped, rising to her feet and grabbing the nearest stick as a weapon, eyes wide as she looked for whatever had hurt her husband, when—
When two glowing eyes looked back at her.
Malon stared. And then it clicked. “What are you doing out here?! Why, that idiotic husband of mine, take that off right now and I’ll punch him myself—“
The Fierce Deity hastily stood, taking three steps back as Malon charged at him. “This wasn’t of my volition.”
“You both know that mask hurts him, why is he putting it on when he’s sick and injured already—“
Navi burst into tears, upset by the racket. Malon paused from her tirade only due to such desperate circumstances, shushing her daughter and rocking her gently while glaring daggers at the deity.
“Perhaps he didn’t think he could protect you in his current state,” Fierce offered.
“That’s ridiculous!” Malon denied even as her mind screamed in agreement with Fierce. She herself had just been saying it.
But—but—oh, that husband of hers! He was getting the lecture of his life when he took that mask off!
A twig nearby snapped, and the deity had his blade out in an instant. Malon tried to calm Navi, who was still greatly perturbed, and she let the mythical being take the lead. He quickly rooted out the source of the noise. Malon had to admit she certainly felt safe watching the demigod dispatch the beasts with so much ease it might as well have been a joke.
When the danger had passed, she quietly asked, “Can you even feel the injury he had?”
The Fierce Deity glanced at her, and he tested the affected extremity. “A little, yes. I know he hurt it.”
“Things just… don’t hurt you, do they?” Malon huffed, marveling a little at it. Perhaps that was why Link had chosen to let him take over - nothing could slow him down.
The deity blinked, head tilting down as if he were considering it. “They do.”
He didn’t elaborate, and somehow that made the words all the heavier. Malon watched him a moment in silence, Navi finally calm in her arms. Then she sighed, finding a fallen tree to sit on, and she pat the space beside her invitingly. As she waited for the deity to approach, she started humming Epona’s song while rocking Navi back and forth.
Fierce slowly made his way over to her, sitting with such care it was as if he was approaching a frightened animal. Malon didn’t think too much into it - she knew his focus was on her daughter. She continued to sway gently, beaming down at her baby girl. Navi was calm, resting once more. Not for the first time, Malon had to marvel at the little one. She was perfect and beautiful.
And now she was safe.
Sighing, Malon said quietly. “Thank you.”
Fierce smiled softly. “Protection is my sworn duty. But more than duty, it is always a pleasure to protect Link’s family.”
Malon mirrored his smile, resuming her humming for a little while. Eventually, the deity commented, “She’s gotten bigger since you showed her to me.”
“That was six months ago,” Malon giggled. “Of course she’s gotten bigger.”
“I… do not know how quickly mortals grow,” Fierce noted a little uncertainly. “I've ascertained that the little Hero's journey wasn't exactly traditional. How long will she be this helpless?”
“Don’t you worry about her,” Malon chided gently with a chuckle. She knew that concerned tone and expression anywhere - it was still her husband’s face, even if the mask’s magic distorted it to share the deity's spirit. The two worried all the same. It was honestly kind of cute. “Link and I can take care of her.”
The deity continued to watch her daughter, face softening.
“Now don’t you tell me you don’t think we’re up to the task,” Malon teased, elbowing him.
He straightened a little, a smile pulling at his lips. “I remember little of my time before this mask, but I do recall that a mother’s love and protection is far fiercer than I could ever be.”
Malon felt a swell of pride in her chest, and she giggled. “Aw honey, look at you buttering me up. That won’t save you.”
Fierce blinked. “From what?”
“From eating,” Malon insisted, pulling out some biscuits that had been wrapped up for the journey. “Link needs it, and you don’t get to eat that much. My daddy always said my cookin’ was fit for a god, so I guess it’s time to test that.”
She actually managed to pull a laugh out of Fierce with that one, and it filled the air with mirth and magic. Malon felt like she'd just accomplished some grand quest like Link did on his journeys, and she laughed with him. Fierce eventually took the biscuits, sniffing them hesitantly.
Malon raised an eyebrow at him, but the gesture was lost upon the mysterious being. He took a laughably small bite, testing it, and then sighed, closing his eyes.
"You alright?" Malon asked quietly, trying to parse out the gesture. In most it would be a sign of appreciation, but Fierce's mannerisms didn't always match the norm.
"Six months," the deity said quietly before taking another bite. "It's such a short time."
"It certainly has flown by," Malon muttered, looking down at her baby. Navi had grown so much. She wanted nothing more than for time to stop. It was pretty ironic considering who she was married to. But his magic over time, as fantastical as it was, would be a curse in this situation. No, Malon didn't want to live the same days over and over as she herself grew old. She just wanted to cherish the time she had as much as possible.
Some days she did wish she could slow it down, though.
She kissed her daughter's soft head, taking in the scent of her skin, so new and unblemished, naïve to the worries lines her parents bore. Navi was her entire world, and she couldn't imagine it any other way.
"I suppose mortals do grow up quite quickly."
Malon nuzzled her baby girl a little more before looking up at the deity. He seemed very sad and alone all of a sudden, biscuit forgotten in his hand as it rested on his lap.
"Oh honey," she cooed gently, shifting closer to him. "All that means is we treasure what we do have."
Fierce watched her, his brow heavy over his eyes, a weight pushing on his shoulders. Malon tried reading into it, trying to figure out what was leaving the sweet mysterious man so perturbed. She supposed it was fairly obvious, though.
He would outlive them all. They both knew it. But that didn't mean—
Oh.
He didn't think he would have a chance to treasure such moments. How could he? He was locked away in a mask, only touching reality when worn. And Link had no reason to wear it.
Well, that just wouldn't do. They had to figure something out. Malon didn't wish the pain of that mask on her husband, but she didn't wish the loneliness of its imprisonment on Fierce.
"We have right now," she reasoned, trying to give him the most sincere smile she could. "Come on, love. Take your armor off and relax. As long as you're eating and resting, I reckon it'll be okay for a little bit, at least."
"You three were going somewhere," Fierce noted. "I should clear the road and escort you there safely."
"Maybe so," Malon replied. "But you're going to finish eating first."
He complied, finishing the biscuit before being handed another. After having several snacks from the provisions the family had packed, Malon and Fierce rose together. His gaze seemed to settle on Navi, and Malon held her out carefully, nodding in encouragement to the tall being.
Gently, oh so gently, Fierce took the baby in his arms. Instinctively, he swayed on his feet, eyes never leaving her face. Malon's heart warmed at the sight of it.
“Sometimes, I just wonder,” Malon remarked as she watched him. “You’re so… compassionate, and kind. They claim you're a war god, but you're really not. You love children so much. Surely… I think you might’ve had some, you know? Back then and all.”
Fierce watched her in silence before he tilted his head to the side with a smile, returning Navi to her mother. “I do have children.”
Malon jumped, surprised. “You do?”
“Yes,” the deity hummed quietly, a deep, rumbling sound that was nearly akin to purring. “And I’m very proud of both you.”
The words settled over her a moment before sinking in, and she knew she had to look like a deer caught in lantern light. The deity’s smile grew, almost as if teasing, but she knew he was being genuine. And she… felt almost at a loss for words by it. Her throat tightened a hair before she laughed, stepping towards him and pulling him into a hug. “Oh, you. You’re just as bad as Link.”
The Fierce Deity stood there stiffly a moment, clearly caught off guard by the contact, but slowly, he settled into the embrace. His hands were warm on Malon’s back as he pulled her closer, careful not to hurt Navi between them. His breath warmed her hair at the top of her head, and Malon nuzzled against his chest a little.
Silence hung amicably in the air, a pleasant comfort and warmth like a hearth ablaze with a cheery fire. Slowly, fairies came out of hiding, dancing and twinkling in the shadows and bringing a glow to the forest like the pink hues of a sunrise.
The supposed god of war knew peace, and Malon held this moment in her heart forevermore.

Masks of Mayhem
These two are the main reason Hyrule has an HR department now.
We did this on stream! :D
So we have a little story thing going on atm, where the "Hero of Chaos" was the person the Fierce Deity used to be, so we've been drawing a normal version of FD, because... I can.
Here's a piece that takes places later on! - "Meetings" (Also Zelda is here)
I don't normally do backgrounds, BUT LOOK AT THIS! I'm so happy with it :D

Father of Time Chapter 32: Flux and Flow
Link was worried.
As a child in the Kokiri forest, he hadn't understood those dreams he had until after everything with Ganondorf happened. He didn't know why those dreams had felt different until after his seven year jaunt into the future and eventual return to his childhood. When he and Zelda had talked about his adventure and she explained about her own prophetic dreams, he had finally known. But then he had never had another. Dreams of his past and the things that had happened? Nightmares of the moon falling and horrible temples full of shadows? Oh yes, all the time. But nothing since with that sting of future knowledge.
Until now.
Before his visit to Termina, he had dreams that he couldn't remember but hadn't felt normal. Too far away, too vague to remember. Then there was the dream his dad had woken him from, before Starfall. And now last night; that had been the clearest one of all. He couldn't make out what the monster was but something in his heart had cried out in pain at the sight of it. When was that going to happen? Soon? It didn't feel soon but how was he supposed to know? Maybe he could ask Zelda.
It was still dark when he woke up, though his sense of time said it was morning. Winter days were always shorter, though not by much. It would be dawn in an hour, maybe. Throwing some clean clothes on, he walked into the cold kitchen and rummaged around for food. He was glad no one was around; after the fight yesterday and that dream overnight he really wasn't ready to talk to anyone.
Gnawing on some bread, he shrugged on his coat and headed out into the pre-dawn cold. Whistling Epona's song always called her to the house-facing gate and she cheerfully nibbled on his hair. Shoot, he forgot the hat again. Oh well.
"Good morning, nephew."

The Gundam LU au is haunting me again

The first two I drew was Legend and Time, not satisfied with Time's design, but I wanted that ex military captain vibe. And Legend is a Gundam pilot, I guess he counts as another run away, also rip his hair it's short now.
I have severely miscalculated about mobile suits having to design my own
#Legend might get the Zeta or something similar#Time is a miss mass of Turn A and Witch from Mercury#Because I want the Fierce Deity markings to not be tattoos but soemthing meaning full so I can say#Get in the Gundam Time#Ravio helped Legend run away BTW#Time meeting Warriors is going to be traumatic#Because if Time was a kid when he met Wars then how shall Wars be younger than Time in this AU?#lu legend#lu time

Isekai! Reader's Hear Me Outs
The boys have a bet. You're determined to punish them for roping you into it. (Based on the Hear Me Out Cake trend. All characters were submitted by you lovely readers.)
“You grew up playing our games, right?” Wind asks. He has a mischievous smile on his face. “Who’s your favorite?”
“Aww, I could never choose my favorite Link. You nine are all equally a pain in the butt!” You laugh and ruffle Wind’s hair. It’s not even a lie, really. Sure, you prefer some games over others, but how could you possibly choose a favorite?
“Come on, spill!” Legend pipes up, “I got money on this!” Ah. So that was what this was all about. Glancing around, you’re disappointed to see that all the Links are listening in, no doubt all part of the betting pool.
“I mean it. Find someone else to rope into your gambling addiction.” You shake your head at the boys’ antics.
“What about other people?” Hyrule smiles innocently, “what other… uh, characters were your favorite?” It’s an innocent question, but you know it’s dark motive. The boys would simply tally how many people from their games you liked and declare that game the winner. Fine. If that’s how they wanted to be.
“I mean. I had a crush on Beedle when I was in middle school.”
“That guy that likes bugs?” Wild, Wind, and Sky all ask at the same time. They look between each other, surprised for a moment. You can see the gears turning in their heads. How on earth were they supposed to count that? One point each? Unless you meant only one of the Beedles?
“Yeah. He would love me if I was a worm.” You nod sagely, as if the boys would have any idea what that meant.
“Interesting taste.” Warriors snorts, “Any others we should know about? Maybe we can introduce you when we visit our eras.” He elbows your side playfully, but over his shoulder, you can see Four trying to sneakily add tally marks to a piece of paper. They were keeping score. Time to have some fun.
“The King of Red Lions. Boat form.”
“WHAT.” Wind gawks. “Y/N. Y/N, that’s a boat.”
“That’s not even the worst one.” You grin evilly. “I was a very cringe child.”
“What could be worse than having a crush on a literal boat?” Sky grimaces. You think for a moment.
“Batreaux. When he’s a bat. Oh, and Ghirahim, but I think that’s just a given.”
“I’m sorry I even asked.” He cringes.
“Let’s see… who else?” You rack your brain, trying to come up with characters that you had a crush on. There were honestly too many to count. What can you say? Nintendo makes some fine men.
“I’m almost scared to know.” Wild smirks, clearly having fun with this. Oh, that reminds you.
“The Satori was pretty cute.” You say, and Wild falls off the stump he had been perched on.
“The Lord of the Mountain!?” He sputters, “Y/N that’s a GOD.”
“Eh, he’s not the first deity I had a crush on.” You wave your hand dismissively.
“What other deity did you have a crush on?” Sky raises an eyebrow. As the resident Hylia-“enjoyer” he would question you, wouldn’t he?
“Chill, dude. I don’t have a crush on your girlfriend.” Before his cheeks have time to turn pink you continue. “I was talking about Fierce Deity.”
Time begins choking on his own spit. Warriors pats him on the back, but gives you a look somewhere between disgust and disappointment.
“Don’t give me that look!” You cry. “I haven’t even started talking about all the hot villains! You’ll have plenty of time to look at me like that once I actually give you a reason to!”
“Hot villains? Don’t tell me you had a crush on Ganon.” Hyrule wrinkles up his nose in disgust.
“Of course not!” You put a hand on your chest, as if offended by the implication. “I have standards, Rulie.”
“...”
“Ganondorf on the other hand…”
“Please stop.” Hyrule grimaces.
“Y/N. Please tell me you had a crush on one normal person.” Legend begs.
“Does the Happy Mask Salesman count?” You smile. “I love his little laugh.”
“No. No it does not and you know that.” Time sighs and buries his face in his hands.
“Rusl?”
“No! He’s like my dad!” Twilight gasps. He looks personally offended. What? It’s not your fault Twi’s father figure had you saying daddy.
“Fine,” you sigh, “what about Vaati? He’s cute. That’s not weird, right?”
“Which version of Vaati?” Four sounds tired. He has long since given up trying to record your answers for whatever bet the boys had tried using you for.
“...”
“Y/N. Which version of Vaati?”
“...I think you know it’s not his Minish or Hylian form.” You laugh. Four, like Time, buries his face in his hands.
“Okay, surely you have one person that isn’t a boat or a god or a monster.” Legend rubs his temples. Are your antics giving him a headache? Serves him right, you suppose.
“Oh! Do Dark Link or Shadow Link count as normal crushes? They’re cute.” You explain. Four and Time both shoot their heads up, their faces bright pink.
“You had a crush on DARK LINK!?!” Twilight sputters, “As in, the guy that’s been dragging us across time? The guy that stabbed me???”
“That was before I knew him.” You grimace at the reminder of Twi’s wound. Unfortunately, the moment of silence is short-lived.
“Wait, does this mean I won the bet?” Four’s cheeks and the tips of his ears are still dusted pink, but he seems a bit smug now, too. Shoot. Why had you said Shadow Link was cute? That’s basically calling Four cute, too!
“Actually, I think it goes to Time.” Legend counts out on his fingers, trying to remember all the… interesting… comments you had made. “They listed the Fierce Deity and Dark Link.”
“Dang it.” You groan, a blush creeping into your own face.
“You should know better than to try and stop our betting pools, Y/N.” Warriors winks as he collects a rather large pouch from Wind.
“I hate every single one of you.”
Honorable Mentions that I couldn't find a good place to add:

Majora's Mask and what it means to be grown up
(aka my collected analysis of the Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask)
I will say that generally I don't think Termina is purgatory, or a dream, or anything like that. To me, Termina is kind of like a Silent Hill type parallel world, where you face your deepest traumas.
First, the parallels between Majora's Mask, and the child section of Ocarina of Time.
The first dungeon for both games is in a vast wooded area, there are woodland races inhabiting both areas, the Kokiri for Ocarina of Time, and the Deku for Majora's mask. The second dungeon is in a great mountain, inhabited by the Gorons. The third dungeon is in a vast body of water, inhabited by the Zora.
Then, things split. After Jabu Jabu, Link becomes an adult. After Great Bay, there's Ikana Canyon. A land of nothing but Death.
Who caused the death of Ikana? Who else but the king, Igo Du Ikana. Ikana was plunged into disrepair, after Igos started a war with a clan of Ninjas, to receive a powerful artifact, in a great and mysterious temple. Sound familiar? It should, this is exactly what Ganondorf did, after Link was sealed away for seven years. But Ganondorf was successful.
But Ikana isn't completely occupied by the dead, no. Pamela remains, with her father, turned into an undead monster. Much like Sheik, the last Sheikah, who is revealed to be Zelda. And her father? He's never seen, but I'd imagine it would be easy enough for Ganondorf to become king, if the other one was no longer around. From a man, to a corpse.
So, if Ganondorf is a parallel to Igos, and Zelda is a parallel to Pamela, what about Link? He's a little different. I believe that, along with Kafei and Tingle, all three of the transformation masks are a representation of Link, and his feelings towards being forced to grow up.
Tingle is, as we know, a 35 year old man who thinks he's a fairy boy. Similar to how link was a 10 year old boy, who thought he was a fairy boy. I believe Tingle is a reflection of what Link could have been if he never left Kokiri Forest. An adult hylian man, thinking he's a Kokiri.
On the contrary, Kafei is distraught at the idea of becoming a child again. He's weaker, he can't marry his fiancee, and everyone treats him like well, a child, despite his maturity. I believe this is how Link feels after becoming a child again. He used to be a strong adult, and even if he's not as mature as Kafei, he still went through a lot, and knows a lot more about life now. Kafei even reuses Link's model and animations.
There's a reoccurring theme in Ocarina of Time where Link just doesn't belong anywhere he goes. He's an outsider to the other races, because he's a hylian, but he's also an outsider to the hylians, because he was raised as a Kokiri. I think the transformation masks reflect that.
The Deku Butler's Son is what he could have been as a Kokiri. He could have been a happy little boy, living with his father, and his community. But Link and the Deku butler's son both left home to explore, and as far as both the Kokiri and the Deku are concerned, neither came back.
Darmani is what he could have been as a Goron. A powerful hero to the Gorons, celebrated by them for clearing Dodongo's Cavern. A close link between the goron elder, Darunia, and their sons. Both him and Link remain after death, lamenting on their histories as heros.
Mikau is what he could have been as a Zora. Maybe not a cool as hell guitarist, but a husband to Ruto, and Prince of the Zora Who would stop at nothing to keep her happy and safe, like infiltrating a fortress, or climbing inside of a whale.
Even the Fierce Deity is just Link, but back as an adult. As if so much changed so rapidly, he felt like he transformed into something less like himself, and more like a powerful god. He could have continued being strong, and powerful, the defeater of Ganon, but he had to become a child again. He has to stay as a small, and unknown child.
The ages of the masks even match the human life cycle. According to the debug menu (and if you subscribe to the theory that Link and DBS's ages were swapped), DBS is 5, Link is 12, Darmani is 30, Mikau is 78, and, Fierce Deity is 17, likely due to his model being recycled from adult Link's. Link starts the game in the body of a 5 year old, then a 12 year old, then a 30 year old, then a 72 year old, and finally, a God.
We don't exactly know how Link feels. But I can't imagine it would be easy to go from a child, with no concept of death, to be thrust into a position where he's forced to fight and kill an adult man so much stronger than he is. And then everything was just reversed. Like that. As if it never happened. And only Link remembers the impending doom he faced. All he can do is remember Ganondorf's reign. Almost like he's reliving the same few days, again, and again, and again.

Linked Universe, The Hero of Hyrule
My headcanons/aus

Art by Atro
Colored version.
Long talk/Ideas under the cut, warning for violence and blood. (Note: I may add stuff over time, but nothing will be deleted from the list)
Twilight. Wind. Time. Legend. Four. Sky. War. Wild.
Hyrule (Legend of Zelda 1 & 2). Other Nicknames: The Traveler, Healer, Medic, Little Lost boy, The Fairy/Fae. The Survivalist.
Hero’s Title: Hero of Hyrule, Hero of the Two Zeldas, Carrier of the Triforce, The Fae born.
God that has claim over his soul: Kishin (Fierce Deity)
Part of First’s soul: Tranquility
History:
All that Link knows is that he was born to a fairy in the kingdom of hyrule, eventually he is separated from her and an old man gives him a sword to help him survive in the harsh world. Eventually his wandering led him to the dungeons and defeated the monsters inside, gathering up the piece of the Triforce of Wisdom and Power. Eventually he defeated the monster known as Ganon and saved princess Zelda.
Of course this wasn’t the end to this adventure, Zelda insisted Link live in one of the villages, though Link didn’t feel very comfortable with it. Most of the village was cold and untrusting especially to outsiders. It was here that Link learned from Impa about the other zelda, who was cursed to sleep until someone would wake her. So this time he is given a quest to find the missing Triforce of Courage and wake the second Princess Zelda. He of course being who he is, he accepts and begins his journey, this time having to fight a dark reflection of himself. Meanwhile Ganon minions are trying to capture him to use his blood in a ritual to bring back the king of evil. After he helps the princess, he learns the Triforce, not having a secured place in the realm it once rested, has now chosen him as a protector and stays with him.It will also turn people hostile when they realize he has power to grant anyone’s wish. As well as monsters still hunting him down. He opts to live on the road, only stopping when he meets one of his Zeldas.
Death: Unknown…
Interesting stuff/Headcanons:
Besides the Triforce, the fae side of Link is known to give hylians an uncanny feeling, so most will either chase him out or ask him to leave.
He’s a good voice mimic, so he can mimic the voice of people and animals, he mainly like’s to use chirps and trills.
Has an iron stomach and can survive off almost anything. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t get sick, and has learned that lesson the hard way.
When he learns a spell it gets soaked into his skin, almost like a marking.
When he starts to get comfortable, his human form will slowly start to shift into his real form, looking more like a dryad then a hylian.
He only really lets his fairy wings out when he truly is safe and comfortable, that can easily be torn and are hard to heal, so it’s a big sign of trust to see them.
Fairy wings are the vulnerable parts of a fae, fae hunters often times will tear and break them to prevent escaping, and Hyrule trusted the wrong person when he was younger (hense why he didn’t use alot of his magic)
They have healed over the many years but they still have scars on them.
Hyrule cannot read, at least not till after Zelda from his first adventure taught him, he’s gotten better and can use magic if he falls short.
In his Hylian form, the first hint to his fae side is a crown of branches he wears, that looking closer grow out of his head. This shows many of the fae and forest his a child of nature.
He trims the branches just enough so they look like a little crown a child may have put on him.
Anything cut off of him will go back to its natural state, Hair? Turns to leaves. Skin? Becomes a bark-like texture. Again he’s still natural and flesh-like but his true form blends into nature better.
Ganon utters a blood curse to Hyrule during his death, meaning should he be captured and blood spilled Ganon could come back.
This of course results in Hyrule being terrified of his own blood, he wears leathers to protect his skin.
Ganon has also shown interest in possessing the boy, dark Link was a side effect when he couldn’t.
This makes Hyrule weary of any magic signatures he can’t identify right away.
He’s actually really good at sewing and repairing stuff sense oftentimes it was either repair it or throw it away.
He doesn’t really feel comfortable in bed since he spent so much of his childhood in a fairy fountain or moving around.
Because of his fae magic, other fae like Time feel comfortable around him, however because Hyrule can’t get a read on Time’s magic he often is silently panicking.
For some reason he feels like he’s seen Legend before, he doesn’t know why.
----
Hyrule is done!

DANCING WITH FIERCE DANCING WITH FIERCE DANCING WITH FIERCE DANCING WITH FIERCE DANCING WITH FIERCE DANCING WITH FIERCE
Ahem...
How bout a fic where we share, maybe teach Fierce how to dance?
I am living for these fics
I love this idea!! One dance scene coming up, and I'll throw in some /drama/ to sweeten the deal ;)

Smooth
Pairing: Fierce Deity x Reader
Warning(s): some possessive thoughts, but nothing crazy
Masterlist

It was a preposterous idea, in the Fierce Deity's opinion; far too poignant to be introduced at the breakfast table, much less to the likes of him.
"I've picked up the waltz," the Link called 'Warrior' preened, leaning forward to fix you with a gaze the deity couldn't help but loathe. Of course, you were your own person and free to do as you pleased, though that sentiment did nothing to stem the flow of... he dare say it was jealously, through his veins. "I'd be happy to show you, if you'd like."
But sweet, unassuming you only grinned at him from across the table. "I know that one too! Anyone heard of the square dance?"
"I have, but 'm no good," Twilight chimed in, fork piled high with the eggs you and Wild made.
"I can dance on any ship mast!" Wind proclaimed, looking pointedly at everyone before his gaze settled on you. "If we ever end up in my world I'll teach you!"
"I can't wait," there it was, the soft smile that never failed to frame your face when you were truly happy. Fierce hoped you never lost it. Picking at the last of your food, you turned to the deity beside you. "How about you, big guy? You can't tell me you haven't danced at least once."
The Fierce Deity felt a sort of melancholy at your words, mostly because he had not, in fact, danced at least once and partly because impressing you was typically the highlight of his day. "I," he could feel Time's working eye on him, as cerulean as the Termina sky and twice as calculating. "am not familiar with the dances of this world."
That seemed the safest response, and the deity was relieved he could think as quickly on his buttocks as he could on his feet. When understanding settled in your gaze, he knew he made the right choice. "Well, allow me to impart some moves on you in case someone asks for your hand on the floor."
Aside from the fact that he had heard none of those words in the same sentence together, and that he would likely never accept the hand of anyone but you, the Fierce Deity could only helplessly nod, no more ensnared than a fish in a net. At night, your sway over him would be so baffling that he could hardly close his eyes, too caught up in the great mysteries of the heart he didn't know he possessed. "I would like that."
And so it was decided. The conversation devolved to you detailing all the errands the day required, and there was no shortage of help when it came to your needs–you had given them a home, food, and good company, so how could Time and Twilight refuse tending to the petunias, or Wild and Sky the cooking? Hyrule looked as though he would sooner restart his hero's journey than gather ingredients for the stew you had planned for dinner, while Legend's expression indicated that he would rather fight the beast Volga a thousand times over than not assist with laundry, never mind the amount of soiled clothes eleven people undoubtedly generated a week. Four's eyes resembled a mismatched kaleidoscope (he had been quite disturbed when you let him use yours, but the Fierce Deity wasn't one to shy easily) when you asked if he wanted some scrap metal from the neighbor's garage sale, and Wind was downright ecstatic when you invited him to the grocery store. Warriors gaze practically held heart-eyes when you informed him that the sewing materials to fix his ripped scarf would be arriving in the afternoon, only souring when you delegated the last task to the Fierce Deity himself: dance lessons at 4.
It was a laughable thought that his only responsibility was to prepare for lessons on dance, but the Fierce Deity was not one to complain at the newfound freedom, as if you had never offered it before. The tasks you laid out were simply requests, and it was clear that they could back out at any time, not that any of them would, of course. The Fierce Deity knew your behavior would have never passed in his world, and it was one of the things he admired about you, a mere mortal who could convince them of anything. He saw it in Time's eyes, in Twilight's and Wind's and Wild's. Devoted was too soft a word to describe it, but there was no better one.
And as you began to gather plates, chirping happily about the great weather, he began to believe that maybe, just maybe, it was.

You found the Fierce Deity in the living room, sat beside Time and Warriors, their eyes practically glued to the episode of Family Feud playing on the TV. You found it funny how much they enjoyed the show, though you supposed it was a bid to learn more about your culture without having to ask you about every little thing. Wind had even begun to use slang, and while you were proud, his use of 'bro' was simply out of control at times, though nothing could top the time Twilight tried to use 'rad' in a sentence.
Leaning against the wall, you fake-coughed, tapping your watch when they turned to look at you. "Hey, Fierce, you ready to get some moves?"
Despite the obvious differences in word choice between the two of you, Fierce nodded solemnly and followed you to the backyard. A large 'patio' extended nearly to the middle of the yard, and his boots clomped obnoxiously on the slate-colored stone. It had been one of the only articles you allowed him to wear everywhere, as the people of your world tended not to be fond of men in armor that carried swords bigger than they were, which led to several heated discussions from you about proper dress. The Fierce Deity tugged on the sleeves of his grey 'shirt', a gift from you when you realized he was a bit large to shop at regular stores.
"We should be good here," you stated, hands poised on your hips. "I still can't believe you've never danced at all."
"It is not uncommon," responded the Fierce Deity. "Song and dance are for people of mirth."
You raised an eyebrow. "You don't consider yourself a 'person of mirth'?"
"I am the god of war," for a moment, the bitterness in his gaze was almost palpable. "There is no happiness in battle."
"Not even victory?" You were curious of the Fierce Deity, of what the lens of divinity really entailed. Had it truly made him cold, or was it merely a front?
"Especially not victory," he intoned, and you were nearly consumed with the urge to hug him. You'd never denied the vast differences your lives held, but it still stung to hear him speak so... despondently.
"Well," you patted his shoulder in an attempt to lighten the mood. You had. "We haven't had a world war in, like, years, so don't worry your pretty little head about it!"
The Fierce Deity raised an eyebrow, but didn't comment on your choice of words, much to your relief. Clapping your hands together, you changed the subject. "You have a very waltz-y style, so we'll start with that."
You offered him your hands, which he took with no hesitation. Contrary to your assumption, his porcelain skin was warm to the touch, and just as smooth. You couldn't help but wonder if all deity's were like this, or if it was merely another thing that set him apart from the gods. Carefully, you brought your right arm up, encouraging his to follow suit, then placed the palm of his right hand on your side, sliding your left hand up to rest on the curve of his bicep. "You're going to want to hold your arm up like this–and keep your hand under my arm like so."
"Then you step back with your right foot," you said as you stepped forward with your right. "Aaand take another step so both feet are parallel."
It was a testate to the Fierce Deity's character that he followed your movements with nary a grunt. Stark eyes burned holes into your own. The Fierce Deity was a man of few words, so you supposed it was fate that you had more than enough to share. "Now you're going to take a step with your left," your shoes clicked on the stone as you stepped back carefully. "Then another so your feet are parallel, and now move them together."
The Fierce Deity did just that, brows set in concentration. His dedication was flattering in a soft way, as was the thought that a god thought you were important enough to dance with. You had no doubt that he wouldn't have agreed if he didn't want to, though you could still hardly comprehend his interest in you, a mere mortal. Surely there were more compelling souls he could associate with, or were you simply a distraction from the shock of living in a new world? You tried not to think too hard, shooting the deity a practiced grin. "And that's all there is to it!"
Instead of pulling away, Fierce began anew, until you were dancing in the middle of the patio like no one's business. If dancing with a deity wasn't on your bucket list before, it sure was now.
"You are a good teacher," were the Fierce Deity's first words in however long you'd been outside. He was close enough that you could feel the steady puffs of his breaths, and you doubted you would ever feel quite as protected as you were now. "I shall treasure this experience."
Well, if that wasn't the sweetest thing you had heard today. "I'm glad, you're doing great!"
Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, it did. "Are you familiar with more dances?"
"A few," you shrugged. "Square dancing, the waltz... and the tango, but don't quote me."
The question in his pupil-less eyes was clear: when did you have the time? Time was a fickle concept, and it didn't surprise you that the Fierce Deity wouldn't have any left for song and dance. Yet here you stood, locked in a creative embrace that he should have scorned. What about you could have intrigued the deity so, or at least enough for him to request dance lessons?
Not that you minded, you would never mind.
"Do you want to learn those too?"
The Fierce Deity's head jerked up and down, ruffling his unusually impeccable bangs. You had no idea what sorcery he employed to achieve such an effortless look, but you wanted in. "Has your hair always been this long?"
His grip on your waist tightened a fraction, gaze practically burning a hole into your skull. "Yes."
Hair held memories, so what mysteries did his carry? Stories within strands, just begging to be discovered. Most importantly, would he allow you to read them, or were you simply grossly overestimating your relationship?
"I had it cut," the deity spoke, effectively coloring you surprised. "once."
"Only once?"
"It was during my service," it was back--the tone he used when he was only humoring you. You swayed across the cobblestone, ears perked for his next words. "I did not like it."
You... you could tell. "You don't say..."
"Do you cut your hair?"
"I do," you had no idea why admitting that felt embarrassing. "Not often, but enough that it doesn't get split ends."
"Split... ends?" By the way he said it, you would have assumed it was a curse. That and the fact that he apparently was oblivious to haircare other than what you assumed to be sorcery.
"...You don't know what those are?" His blank expression said all, so you coughed and stood a bit straighter. "It's when your hair grows to long and the ends just... split. Getting regular hair cuts and using good products helps."
"I... see," just when you thought that was the end of it, the madness continued. "And these products you speak of?"
Was he... did he really want to learn about human haircare? You supposed your hands were tied on the matter, so you heaved a sigh. "It's an umbrella term; there's hair masks, shampoo and conditioner, oils, butters–"
"You apply butter to your hair?" came a new, incredulous voice. Warriors and Wild strode out from the patio door, the former's scarf looped around his nose and mouth in a manner that made you wonder if you should be nervous. You attempted to release Fierce, but he refused, hold only tightening. "Dude– what's up, Wars, Wild?"
"Where's the... Hylia, I can't remember the name for the life of me," Wars scratched his head and groaned. "The red cylinder–"
"You mean the fire extinguisher?" You asked incredulously, trying and failing to hide your mounting terror.
Warriors grinned and snapped his fingers. "That's it! So...?"
"It's under the sink," you deadpanned. "Please tell me the kitchen isn't on fire."
"Okay, we won't," said Wild, already jogging backwards. You sighed as they retreated back into the house, the acid scent of smoke fingering in through the cracked windows.
"God give me strength–"
"You may utter that once more," said the deity with an exhausted expression.
Other than his horrible euphemism for 'you can say that again', you completely agreed with that statement. "I'd love to stay, but I really don't have the money to get a new microwave," you said a tad sheepishly, weaseling from his slackened grip. "You've got the talent, and don't you forget it!"
It was only until you disappeared inside the house that the Fierce Deity released the sigh he had been holding... and the arm that had raised in a half-hearted attempt to draw you back. 'Pitiful' was the first word to come to his mind when he thought of you; he was a god, and yet he was practically helpless to the whims of a mortal. He wondered how the goddesses saw him now, tamer than a sparrow in a golden cage and more obedient than a hound on a leash. Perhaps it was wonder that drew him closer, emboldened by the terrifying presence of love in his barren heart. There were so many different types of love, and the Fierce Deity liked to think he felt at least one of them toward you. It would certainly explain the uncomfortable feeling in his chest when one of the others had your attention. But, rational as he was, the deity knew attempting to control you would be like trying to stem a raging river. Not that he wanted to, he simply desired your eyes on him, your hands in his own, warm and soft with gentle promises of comfort. He wondered if you would make good on your word, because, really, the concept of dance lessons was a preposterous idea–the Fierce Deity didn't dance at the whims of mortals–and he would be eternally grateful to the goddesses for granting him that pleasure.

This ask is insanely on time because I JUST learned how to square dance yesterday at college. Also this is an unofficial part of Knightmare in Toronto <3

Fanfiction prompt: considering that wind can see ghosts but instead of hiding it he thinks that everyone can see them because everyone has dealt with supernatural forces
Main while the chain is freaking out because wind keeps talking to nobody and telling them that their his friends or the most unhinged statement he is enemies with the stripes guy who always stands menacingly in a corner trying to be cool (fierce deity)
And the chain starts to worry about wind badly because that is not sane behavior
While another part of the chain (particularly twilight) doesn’t take it THIS seriously because he remembers how Colin spent weeks complaining about his imaginary friend not playing with him and that children can be imaginative especially when bored and that only making him a new toy got him to play with his friend again
And that ends up in the chain thinking that wind must be incredibly bored because they walk all day and not letting him explore and play with bugs and they decided to fix it (but quickly realized that they are in the middle of a forest with nothing particularly interesting)
Wind main while has absolutely no idea what to do with the hand made toy lobster (legend definitely can sew like have you seen him and the ton of outfits he has) or the Fact that Wolfie seems particularly persistent to play fetch ..!.,?! What is going on!? (Twilight quickly realized that he is dog shaped and he also feels extremely guilty that wind is only walking with them)
But also he definitely can’t throw it away because the legend clearly put effort into the thing and he does love lobsters
And he would rather die than let the chance pass to play with Wolfie (that guy never has fun and nobody can make him play anything and the look of pure envy from Wild was totally worth it he is Wolfie's new favorite now , screw you wild)
But unfortunately that one extra toy seems to do nothing about Wind's insistence to talk with walls
And Wolfie tries really really hard to be more interesting than the walls ( he is failing because ghosts will always be more interesting )
The second they enter a town every single link with money goes to ransack the entire town for toys
And wind catches on about their concerns with his mental state and realizes that explaining them how he can see ghosts would probably confirm to them he is crazy
He awkwardly takes the toys and rearranges them in a way that every ghost is next to a toy so that the chain can stop complaining about him because now he has the excuse that he is totally talking to his toys and not any other beings or voices or walls
The chain is happy because they can almost always see him talk to the toys and play with them (the dread they feel when he keeps naming them after dead loved ones of them is something but maybe it is just a coincidence)
Then they catch him playing a game and it’s just the lobster who apparently is named after legend and the bird who he named Marin (Wind was totally only re-enacting Marin's story because he is definitely an adult and only doing the logical thing)
Time later sees him with Wild's majora’s mask (that sits with its face turned like it’s trying not to look at someone) while Wind keeps talking about a big guy with stripes on his face and how he tried to be cool when defeating the demon (war flashbacks activated because that stripes guy seems very familiar)
And legend gets an aneurysm because that lobster story strikes way to close to home for him
They take way to long to figure out in this one (they are the heroes of courage not wisdom afterall)

hi hi !!!
not a scott lang request, moreso a thor one !!
wow, so different, i know / j
god reader? he's an anchor being (unknown "center of the universe"). he was hiding out in earth in a human form, (like thor, just... his god form is an eldritch horror). endgame timeline. fury says they need more firepower, and thor suggests asking reader for help.
reader has no obligation to, because if he's such a powerful being, thanos has no real threat to him / and or his realm. (his army?)
just, thor practically swooning over readers god form. any scenario, but what i stated (last paragraph) is basically some world building. reader towers over everything, "i eat planets whole" size, with the entire... other worldly, extravagant personality.
imagine the figure that Gorr saw before asking Thor to protect his daughter. (the big, crossed-legged entity of the universe itself).

Eater Of Worlds
Thor Odinson x Male Reader
Summary: The Avengers need more help against Thanos, and Thor has just the God in mind.
A/N: Currently have a lot of smut requests in my drafts, those will be spaced out as I've done a lot of Smut lately however non-smut requests are still open. I'm not a big fan of how this turned out, so I apologize.
TW: Fluff

The threat of Thanos hung heavy in the air, a suffocating blanket of dread. Everyone present understood the brutal calculus of their situation. They knew the risks intimately, the chilling probability that no matter how meticulously they planned, how fiercely they fought, many wouldn't emerge from the inevitable confrontation alive. The sheer power Thanos wielded was a tangible force, a looming shadow that dwarfed their collective might. They clung to the belief that they were facing a singular, insurmountable obstacle, their options dwindling with each passing hour.
Then, a flicker of improbable hope ignited in the hushed room. Thor, his voice low and tinged with a long-forgotten reverence, murmured about an old tale, a legend whispered by his mother, Frigga. It spoke of a god, a being of immense and terrifying power, one who dwarfed even Thanos in the annals of Asgardian lore. This god, according to the ancient stories, had vanished, choosing to walk among mortals, his true nature masked by a human guise. But the echoes of his past deeds still resonated, tales of devastation and awe that had once sent shivers down even Asgardian spines. This being had once roamed the cosmos in a form that defied comprehension, a wolf so colossal its head pierced the clouds, each earth-shattering step a testament to its raw, untamed power.
Thor recounted these stories, Frigga's voice seemingly echoing in the room, her descriptions so vivid it felt as though she herself had witnessed these incredible events. Yet, even he, a god accustomed to the extraordinary, had never truly believed he would lay eyes on this legendary figure. But here you were, standing amongst them, indistinguishable from any other human, a stark contrast to the monstrous deity of myth. The only hint of your true nature was the casual arrogance in your laughter as Thanos's threat was mentioned, a dismissive scoff that bordered on insulting.
Your amusement abruptly ceased as you registered the gravity etched onto the faces of Thor and Loki. Two Asgardian gods, beings who had faced down cosmic horrors, were visibly concerned. A flicker of something akin to curiosity, perhaps even a grudging respect, crossed your features. If they were taking this seriously, then perhaps, just perhaps, it was worth a moment of your attention.
"Our mother spoke highly of you," Thor ventured, his voice respectful, almost pleading. "You must understand what is at stake here. This… this Thanos… he could even pose a threat to you."
You sighed, a drawn-out exhale of weariness that seemed to carry the weight of ages. "Then you are aware that not even this Thanos can touch me, dear boy," you whispered, your voice a low rumble that resonated in the silence. "It simply isn't my fight."
Tony Stark, who had been observing the exchange with growing impatience, finally interjected, his voice sharp and laced with his usual pragmatism. "Look, with all due respect to the Norse mythology hour, this is getting us nowhere. We're facing a universe-ending threat, and you're talking about some bedtime story. This 'god,' if he even exists, clearly isn't interested in helping. We need a plan, not fairy tales."
Thor ignored Tony, his gaze fixed intently on you. "But you have helped before," he insisted, his voice gaining a desperate edge. "My mother told us stories, Loki and I. Tales of how you single-handedly turned back armies to protect those who couldn't protect themselves. How you devoured entire worlds that posed a danger to others. You possess a power that could tip the scales."
You remained impassive, your eyes flicking briefly towards Tony, a silent acknowledgment of his assessment. "He's right," you stated flatly, your voice devoid of emotion. "Whatever you are attempting will be futile."
Thor refused to be deterred. He pressed on, his voice laced with desperation. Loki, standing beside him, shot Thor a sharp, knowing look, a subtle warning that seemed to suggest Thor was deliberately trying to provoke a reaction.
A low growl rumbled in your chest, a sound that vibrated through the floor. You grunted, the human facade beginning to crack under the weight of Thor's relentless appeals. "Enough!" you roared, your voice booming with an unnatural resonance, silencing Thor mid-sentence. "Stop your mewling, godling! You sound like a child begging for scraps."
Thor, stung by the rebuke, his own patience fraying, retorted, "Perhaps my mother was wrong. Perhaps you are nothing more than a cowardly god, content to hide while others suffer."
The air crackled with a sudden, palpable energy. The sound of bones audibly shifting and cracking filled the room, followed by a guttural growl that seemed to emanate from the very depths of the earth. Your human form began to contort, stretching and shifting in ways that defied natural law. In a matter of seconds, the mortal man was gone, replaced by a wolf of unimaginable size. Its fur was the color of midnight, its muscles rippling beneath its hide like shifting mountains. Its head breached the ceiling, its massive jaws capable of swallowing a planet whole. You bent down, your enormous head looming over the stunned Avengers, a low snarl rumbling in your throat. Your eyes, once human, now glowed with an intense, ember-like light, burning with ancient power.
"Pathetic," you rumbled, your voice a deep, resonant growl that shook the very foundations of the building. "You dare disturb my solitude with such trivial affairs? Matters that have nothing to do with me?"
Thor, however, seemed to have tuned out your words, his eyes wide with a mixture of awe and disbelief. He interrupted you, a strange smile spreading across his face. "The stories," he breathed, his voice barely a whisper, "they never truly captured it. How… breathtaking your godly form is." He stepped closer, oblivious to the danger, his gaze sweeping over your massive form. "The sheer power, the majesty… it's… magnificent. I must say, I am rather enjoying this particular form of yours."
You recoiled slightly, taking a massive step back, your paws causing the ground to tremble beneath their weight. You stared at Thor in utter disbelief, your massive head tilting slightly as if trying to comprehend his bizarre reaction. Your colossal form began to shrink, the impossible transformation reversing, albeit not entirely. You settled into the form of a wolf still immense, easily towering over Thor and the other Avengers, but no longer scraping the clouds.
Uncertainty flickered in your glowing eyes. You glanced between the bewildered faces of the Avengers and Thor, who was still gazing at you with an unnerving mixture of fascination and admiration. "I… I am still not obligated to assist you," you finally managed, your voice now a deep, rumbling growl, less earth-shattering than before, but still undeniably powerful. "However… perhaps… if the situation becomes truly dire, if there is absolutely no other recourse… then I might consider lending my aid."
Thor's face lit up, a wide, genuine smile spreading across his features. "Thank you," he exclaimed, his voice filled with relief. "Thank you for reconsidering."
You simply huffed in response, a puff of air that rustled the nearby debris. You turned to leave, your massive form moving with surprising agility. Just as you reached the doorway, you paused, glancing back at Thor, a flicker of something unreadable in your glowing eyes. "And for the record, thunder god," you rumbled, a hint of amusement creeping into your voice. "If that was your attempt at flirting… it worked."

Random Prompt I came up with:
the chain all have scars. Most have small marks from swords and attacks, some have burn marks, Time has the second most behind Wild, who’s obvious. But for most of them, their scars aren’t visible or debilitating. The only one who have actual disabilities from them are Time (his eye), Wild (if you count his memory impairment, but also his ear is a little messed up) and Sky (who probably has nerve damage from the lightning.
then the chain are casually walking around one of their castle towns, probably Warriors’. They go into a magic shop, and find an item which is basically a magical black light which shows which parts of the body have been healed by magic. Most people have a few- potions are common in almost all eras. Which is why the shopkeeper wasn’t expecting these 9 heroes to *glow* when he turned it on.
four, wind, and hyrule all have the least scars out of the chain. Still far more than the average person, though. A massive crescent is glowing through Wind’s shirt, hyrule is covered in scrapes and scars and the inside of his hands glow brightly from callouses and burns from magic, and faint lines shooting out in the four cardinal directions divide Four’s chest.
Sky, Warriors, and Twilight have even more than those three. Faint lines form a lichtenberg figure across Sky’s entire body. Warriors is covered in numerous scars, but his arm glows like a gauntlet from the massive burn scar on it, which spreads up to his shoulder and arm, and a single line orbits around his entire throat. Twilight’s scars, normally relegated only to his face, now stretch across his entire body, marking the damage his wolf form did to his body, and beneath that starburst-shaped burns cross the rest.
legend and Twilight are tied for second and third most. Legend’s scars are plentiful- cuts across his entire body, starburst burns around his legs and lower torso, and scars form rings around his fingers and wrist from when rings and bracelets created faint, undetectable magical burns. But the most notable one is the jagged line of Stigmata across his forehead, which Legend recognizes is from when he woke up from Koholint.
Time’s not any better- he has the same scars, the same injuries as the others, the “average” of all their injuries. But across his body, it seems like three forces were tearing at his body, creating jagged, cracked lines. On his left palm, golden, glowing marks show the damage of the triforce of courage, and the goddess Farore, which spread up to his shoulder and heart. On his right side, glowing purple lines originating from a scar through his palm mark the damage of Majora. And his face, normally covered in marks already, seems shattered by the glowing blue energy of the Fierce Deity.
and then Wild.
his entire body is glowing. Across his body, massive scars- burns from guardians, cuts from axes and swords, even cauterized gashes from ancient weapons. He had more than a dozen arrow injuries. A massive starburst emerged from his heart, the center going through both sides. And something behind his eyes- not his eyes themselves, but something behind them, is glowing as well. But beneath even that, Wild’s entire body hums and glows with faint energy, as if the Shrine didn’t just heal his injuries, but had to heal his entire body and existence.
And then there’s a crack as Legend shoots the magical item with the bow next to him, shattering it into a million pieces and ending the effect.

Turns out I never fucking posted the "Fierce Deity Link is Link's buddha mode" rant. So here goes, modified from the messages I sent to my little brother over a year ago, otherwise I can't get peace of mind.
In the game, Link actually becomes a buddha, and the Fierce Deity form is when he reaches that state/unleashes that aspect of himself. Fierce Deity isn't just a sick ass name for the form, it's literally a type of deity mostly associated with Tibetan Buddhism, if I'm not mistaken. Fierce deities, also known as wrathful deities, are basically aspects of buddhas that protect others from threats to enlightenment (Majora, amirite?) and clear the path for that in a spiritual sense.
How does Link acquire the Fierce Deity mask? First he has to help everyone in Termina to get their masks, THEN he has to give all of those masks, his possessions, away. Off the cuff, I'd say giving up your earthly possessions is one of the bigger tenets of Buddhism as a whole.
And now let's take a nice look at Fierce Deity's design. If a character's design is good, every part of it has a purpose.
What is the dominating color of the design? That's right, it's blue. You shouldn't be surprised to know, then, that blue in Buddhism symbolises wisdom, purity, and healing.
Fierce Deity has a dark blue bodysuit underneath. Well, in Hinduism (which is honestly kiiiiiiiiind of adjacent to Buddhism) blue skin is basically a sign of a heavenly, enlightened being. And that bodysuit Fierce Deity is wearing sure is tight enough to look like skin.
His eyes are white. In a lot of cultures this usually symbolizes possession, but in Buddhism specifically the Buddha is often depicted with his eyes only partially open, which could leave only the whites of the eyes visible. Similarly, his hair is white (I'd argue silver but same thing in this case), which is the color of purity. Also usually in pop culture, especially in Japanese media, silver hair is the mark of an exceptional and often a supernatural character.
As for the patterns on his face, all I can think of is kabuki makeup, kumadori. I haven't found any evidence that makeup like that is used in Buddhism. In kumadori, red color is used for heroic characters, while blue is used for villains. Why Fierce Deity has a blue pattern despite being a hero, I have no clue. Red and blue colors can be used together in one pattern, but the blue always carries a negative connotation. But moving on, in the official illustration Fierce Deity seems to have red patterns in the place of eyebrows, but in game they're brown despite him having white/silver hair. Well, in kumadori brown makeup represents monsters and non-human spirits, which is kinda fitting in this case.
Moving on, Fierce Deity has a crescent moon on his armor. I'm not entirely sure if it was made into a crescent moon only to make it clear that it's a moon symbol, or if the crescent itself represents something. But the moon in Buddhism symbolises truth and enlightenment according to some source I managed to dig up once and then lost. It could also represent the mind in itself. The moon does have some meanings deeper than I can get to, but it's also important in denoting significant days for Buddhism in the lunar calendar.
The triangle symbol is also pretty vague. Legend of Zelda has the Triforce, but this is only one triangle, not all three, so it might have another meaning. In Buddhism, according to some sources I could find, triangles symbolise the "three bodies of buddhahood" which are the bodies of ultimate reality, bliss, and the physical body we all have.
Then let's look at the three gems Fierce Deity has on his neck. It's not just some meaningless bling to tie the design together, because they do have a meaning. As a set of three, they likely symbolize the Three Jewels of Buddhism, where each stone represents a part of buddhahood: the Buddha, the dharma, and the sangha. These, in layman's terms, mean "the exemplar", "the teachings", and "the religious community" respectively. So I suppose that in Fierce Deity Link's case it means that he takes part in all of these aspects and thus is enlightened.
Lastly, the sword. It could be an extremely stylized vajra, a kind of a pointed battle club that is an indestructible and irresistible force. There's a lot more symbolism behind the vajra than just that, though. The sword could also be based on something called the "infinite knot" which overlaps itself without beginning or end and symbolises infinite wisdom and compassion among other things. The sword has one blue and one green blade. Blue is, again, wisdom. Green, on the other hand, means peace and balance.
Also, the line "could this mask's powers be worse than Majora's?" when receiving the Fierce Deity mask is pretty clear when you know what kind of being he is. Fierce deities deliberately make themselves appear demonic and terrifying to scare away demons. He's also meant to be op, not just as a treat for the player for getting all the masks, but because that's what fierce deities are. Also it's rich coming from the literal villain of the game who dies in the next 3 minutes thanks to Fierce Deity.
All in all, 11/10 design. To make it any clearer that this is Link as a buddha you'd have to slap a lotus flower or a dharma wheel on that bad boi
