“It’s okay to love” but it’s not. Because this whole thing started from a lie. Because style only started this because he wanted a car. Because this isn’t just going lead to a buttload of heartache for them but also for Kant and bison. It’s okay to fall in love but it’s not. None of this is okay. But they’re going to fall in love anyway
#this went off the rails#I’m so sorry#I’m going through it can you tell#fadel and style have me in a chokehold#and Kant and bison are fascinating as well#this show is so dumb and yet here I am lol#does this even make sense#idk#oh well#okay bye now#the heart killers#the heart killers the series

So I made a post theorising about Style before episode 1 dropped and I'm both pleased by how much I got right and enamoured by all the extra details we have about Style in this episode.
Style is so obnoxiously overconfident and full of undeserved swagger that it somehow flips around to being winsome. He's the very definition of "empty-headed" but in a way that makes him innocent and guileless.
Narratively he functions as a bit of a foil to Bison because they are both impulsive and naive and blunt, but where Bison's past is steeped in blood and deception and it feels like he's got tricks up his sleeve, Style is an almost painfully open book. This also stands in contrast to Kant who seems very capable of manipulation.
And while he's nearly annoyingly self-assured, who can blame him; I mean look at him. Pretty boy is so fucking pretty. I bet he rocks up to the club, leans with his back against the bar so his shirt rides up, and immediately has 3 drinks being offered to him.
I'm so glad the show makes it clear that Style was flirting with Fadel well before the deal with Kant. It both establishes how genuine his interest in Fadel is, whilst also telling us that the unhinged behaviour was all Style - he didn't need any incentive to pull the "my nipples are sensitive" line.
I also love how he's demonstratively SO BAD at flirting! At the diner, its clear he's just trying things out to see if anything will stick. He's dressed to make himself alluring: arms and side bared in that loose tank top, and he keeps making these big gestures that show his arms off. (I wonder if he drinks as much as he does partly because he starts to get nervous when nothing seems to be working. xD)
All this is good, though, specifically because Fadel would probably see more sophisticated moves as deception. Instead, I think Style's unpolished and unpredictable flirting winds up being accidentally effective because it leaves Fadel feeling unmoored.
Fadel, who is so in control of his life; who (thinks he) knows exactly what he wants and how to get it. Style makes him feel things he probably hasn't in a while. Attraction, embarrassment; but also, anger and violence. His little dramatic knife-clench moment is such a contrast to the calm, clinical way he assassinates the mob boss and I think it shows that Fadel feels his lack of control around Style - and that frightens him a little.
I like how the show signposts the ways both characters are going to have to grow as people for them to be in a relationship: Style needs to learn how to take things more seriously, to mature and temper that arrogance, and slow down and read the room/people better; Fadel needs to allow himself to let go sometimes, to have some fun for once, to face and accept the reality of his own emotions.
They both have to learn how to love and be loved, and its fascinating how ideally suited they are to teach each other these things.
And in the mean time, well, the chemistry is undeniably electric.
#the heart killers#the heart killers the series#thk meta#fadelstyle#style#fadel#style is nearly everything i wanted for this character#and dunk is doing an amazing job of portraying the balance between genuine confidence and annoying swagger#i'm intrigued about his dynamic with his dad and how that will play into things later (if it does at all)#style is the most Unserious because he balances out all the weight of the other 3 characters#yes he's the comic relief and in a show about murder and deception and betrayal he's very necessary esp for the genre we're in#all the other characters are playing 4D chess and style is just here like: so we're here to play Uno right?? ^_^#it became about fadelstyle at the end but i really do just adore style as a character in his own right too#joongdunk#dunk natachai#rambles about shows i'm watching#<my posts>

I NEED to know the backstory of these two RIGHT THIS MINUTE!!
Fadel’s loss of his man AND his escape route out of this life clearly runs very deep and explains so much more about his closed off nature.
He’s not all in on this line of work, and it’s fascinating to learn that he’s probably trying to dissuade Bison from getting involved with Kant because of his own pain, as well as his accurate suspicions about what Kant’s motives are.
Love this nuance!
Also his past lover being played by Fluke Jeeratch!!! THANK YOU JoJo for this casting!! 🤩
#the scream I scrumpt when I spotted that dimple!#now give me more Fluke flashbacks please#the heart killers#the heart killers the series#Fadel x Fluke#mdl says that’s Fluke’s character’s name too#joong archen#fluke jeeratch#thai bl drama#thai bl#gmmtv bl#guess this totally mirrors the Kat/Joey situation in 10 Things

okay a scene i forgot to shoutout yesterday but. but. when fadelstyle sit on the floor together and style asks 'why do you go to that loss circle' and fadel TELLS HIM that his parents died, that they were killed, and then style (who did Not say anything real back at that circle lol,) reveals that his mom died of cancer and says Fadel can talk to him and i just. It's so fascinating because despite everything— Fadel's belief that you can't trust completely in order to stay safe + Style having found out that Fadel is a hitman—they are so. honest? with each other?
meanwhile kant is a liar most of the time (affectionate. i understand his circumstance) and bison—while being genuinely very in love i do believe—always seems to have a part of himself calculating the situation. [Fadel thinks he's doing that but he's. not. not in the way bison is] Like at first Bison seemed like the brother who jumped all in and didn't look both ways but actually. Somehow. He's the one who's keeping on higher alert. Not super high (he ignores those red flags lol) but he Takes Note. He Questions. And he eased in slowly with Kant too—not jumping right into a boyfriend trial run but demanding a good long talking stage where he kept Kant at a fond arms-length and sized him up. Fadel and Bison are both pretty gone but the FadelStyle honesty is fascinating and maybe it's the difference between Bison's 'i want to love' and Fadel's 'I said I'd never love again—but here I am giving it a chance.' (That said, both brothers have, at this point, given their partners their trust. As of episode 4.)
On the flipside, I think FadelStyle might (might) get through the truth coming out easier than KantBison will. Maybe even because of their honesty—I think they can both feel how genuine they are. And Style does probably get *some* points for having not started their relationship to investigate Fadel... right? (although he did start it under other pretenses thanks to KantBison lol)
But Bison, oh he is gonna be mad. He's gonna be livid. Like I trusted you, I told my brother I had this under control and was trying so hard to actually have this under control and you're telling me I got PLAYED?? And now I'm heartbroken too because i LOVE you and i'm so fond and i was so thankful that we met and how could you do this you are dead (i need to see this happen pls i need bison to go feral)
Fadel.... I'm not sure he would be mad so much as just. very deeply hurt. (Funny enough, upon finding out the truth, he might also be the most sympathetic to Kant as well—we know he respects looking out for your little brother.)
many thoughts. some of them possibly conflicting. idk just had to ramble haha

i think this episode marked a turning point not just for the two romantic relationships, but for all of the characters personally and even their other relationships with each other which is SO fascinating.
for kant, this was the episode where he really realized that bison is a real person and you can see the weight of that hit him when he sees the pictures of the northern lights. i think up until now he was able to push away the feelings he did have for bison and just use them to build the facade he had on, but now he can't turn away from the fact that he cares about bison.
for bison, he fully gave himself over to kant in this episode. he got the control he's been wanting when it comes to their bdsm dynamic, but in having kant "submit" himself to bison, it allowed bison to really trust him and for him to submit to kant. his walls are going to come crashing down now.
and for fadel it's very similar, because while he isn't giving himself over to style in the same way that bison is to kant, they still had sex. he still pushed that line, let down a wall and style is gonna come in with a hammer swinging to knock down the rest
and with style, we know he's starting to suspect fadel, but at the same time, you can see how much he's actually, genuinely starting to like fadel and want to help him, and he says that explicitly when he's talking to kant. he's not doing this for the car or for kant anymore - he's doing it for himself.
as for their relationships, well obviously kant and bison engaging in this bdsm dynamic changed things for them, and the fact that fadel and style actually slept together changed things for them. and then we have fadel agreeing to talk to their mom and even allowing kant and bison to spend time together this episode, on top of style fully guessing the truth and kant having to lie to him to keep him off the trail - so many things changed in their relationships this ep
this episode set so much in motion and changed so much for the characters and i cannot fucking wait to see where we go from here

Heart Killers time, woot woot!
Is it me, or is Fadel is not looking super convinced? He is smart enough that I hope he's suspicious of how convenient it is that they found this kind of evidence when Bison's desire to do the job was at its lowest.
Also the whole "do this and you'll get what you want" - lies!
JJ is flirting with a boy!!!! This is not a drill!!
Please let us see what they're gonna get up to after work!
Oh not good that Mother saw. That's a vulnerability for Keen.
That woman has presence though.
Style! You gotta play this cooler, man.
Fadel, lolol. I do like that he may be right in that he's not super emotionally connected to Style yet, but there is no doubt he is very affected physically. Which makes sense for their relationship at this point. Almost like not everyone has to be completely in love at first sight!
That cat picture is not the picture that Bison just took, lolol.
So...Bison is already thinking about ways to kill this guy, yes?
Yeah, you should be worried Kant.
I love that you can see the internal battle with Style, between "hey this guy is actually pretty cute" and "he murders people for a living".
It is fascinating how you see Fadel soften the tiniest bit each time Style talks about losing his mom.
Omg, not the garage porn roleplay!
Also not me being disappointed that's all we got of it, lol.
Haha, "small and pretty".
Loving that Fadel is starting to open up tiny bits with Style. Style is actually quite sweet when he's not trying to get attention like a peacock.
Hehehe, Style processing that he is, indeed, into that shit. We all called it!
I am dying at all the facial expressions throughout all of this. Fadel's irritation with Kant, Style playing the boyfriend card, it actually working to Fadel's annoyance, Kant just trying to look innocent and helpless.
Mad Dog Bison, omg.
He is so into that shit.
God, the face acting in this show.
Ah, it makes sense that Bison would be really good at noticing people.
Yeah, wrong guy to fuck with James.
Hmm, nevermind, maybe Fadel does really believe Mother.
Khaotung is nailing the unhinged killer side to Bison. Also, Kant is going to have such a rough time when Bison finds out the truth.
Aw, Style catching feelings already. We love to see it.
I knew Style was a softie underneath the brashness.
That's two Fast & Furious references thus far in this series. I guess we need to start a tally?
Fadel questioning all his life choices.
While Bison is totally into it.
Fadel is so weak to Style's begging, I love it.
It is funny that Bison wants Kant to be open, and will be super hurt about the lying, yet he's also lying so damn much. It's so messy! I love it.
Oh god, seeing Fadel laugh is just so heart-melting.
I adore the translators working on this show.
I am dying at Fadel's look of pain while singing. I am you, my man, I struggle with stuff like as well.
Oh this is a fascinating shot.
Also, don't think the Babe lie was a great one, it made it all sound too serious. Of course Bison wants to get involved.
Our little koala returns!
Oh this little feral hitman is so romantic.
These lines!!! Swoooooon.
Holy shit, this shot.
Oh, next week is going to be a ride.

hi scrumptious! (back in the days when your name wasn’t displayed i always remembered you as scrumptious so im just calling you that way, sorry sueee lolol)
let’s go to delulu land! im building this opinion since khaotung said he loved first as kant, and how he always says that. Sometimes i think is just his way of trying to say to first to act more like kant, i don’t know how kant is but just by the trailer i can say he is very into physical touch and maybe khaotung is just craving this. First already said that khaotung never let go of his hand when they were filming, holding even when were screamed “cut”. At the same time, i think first is afraid to be much touchy with his bestie and casually fall in love (they already are) he seems like someone who will hold his feelings and never do anything about it (when it comes to liking his bestie friend who is also his coworker). And khaotung, by saying all this stuff waits to first do something so he can react and loose himself in him.
im really delulu, i feel like they are just like akkayan in some aspects but maybe thats just me. tell me your insights about all of this!!!
Hello anon!!!! I see we are becoming even more delulu 😂.
But I don’t blame you, THK era has highlight even more how our boys are so sticky with each other (for the lack of better term).
From the boys casually sitting on top of each other (as evident by the many BTS videos/photos taken by others) to their Polycat concert shenanigans plus Jojo pretty much giving up and saying “I don't know what to tease you two about anymore” during the THK wrap up party; clearly these 2 are no longer as shy in displaying their close relationship (and I'm all here for it!) - so, I'm not exactly sure what you meant by KT craving more touch (from First) because it seems they are already all over each other (highlighted even more so with the recent THK Press Tour! - so adorable!!!!).
I also mentioned in a previous ask that when these 2 are excited/can't control their emotions/feel comfortable with their surroundings, they really do treat each other bodies like an extension of their own. The casual touch and gesture with the other party just accepting it is so fascinating to me (cause I'll tell you now, I don't even like my own family members touching me most of the time). I am also taking the opportunity to shout out to Joong/Dunk being FK adopted sons (or if in Dunk/Khao case, the latter being everyone's sunshine baby to the point even the THK admin pointed this out...🤭)
We already know KT adores First as Kant (he has said countless of time he finds Kant the best character so far out of their series, which I still find funny, cause I think the interviewers/host from KT party was actually asking him what's his fav role to date and he just goes off tangent and promote his soulmate instead hehe). Is it because Kant is meant to be this flirtatious, suave tattooist who pulls all the move to make sure Bison (and by default KT as well hehe) trapped in his allure? Who knows? Maybe! But, we all know, it is Bison who really holds the power in their relationship (at least in the bedroom anyway, 😆). I get the impression though, while Kant may have fallen for Bison first - once Bison commits to a person, he will be fiercely protective (and murderous, 😅) on behalf of his loves ones (so, when Bison finds out of Kant's deception, all hell will break loose)
Either way, since both boys are method actors, I have no doubt that there are some element of their characters seeping into their real life persona a little bit (especially KT, where FK admits KT always take longer to come out of character) - so, him clingy to First and refuse to let his hands go even after they finish filming, oh yes? This tracks nicely! Also that recent comment by First saying the KT he has to deal with at 6am is very different with the KT he deals with at 7pm??? (which ahem, also tells me, these 2 are TOGETHER pretty much 24/7. I mean we all expected this but its nice to have confirmation).
Look, I truly don't know whether these 2 are in a romantic relationship (in my delulu world, these 2 are in a comfortable spot where they know themselves what they meant for each other but is just letting everyone else make assumptions 😏). Either way though, I am eagerly waiting for Khaotung (or First) to casually drop a bombshell they are now cohabiting in KT's brand new house (whenever that will be completed) - because you just wait, they will drop this random fact suddenly or might pull a EarthMix move 😉
You have no idea how much this ask meant to me. Cause not only has it not been a shitty day in general from the news we have at present (why America? 😭), but also I am still getting asks from anti-CPs or solo F/K stans who are (for god knows why) trying to convince me of their narrative (like the fact I’m no longer answering those asks mean something?)
So, your delightful ask about FK and us being delulu - I’M ALL FOR IT. Let’s all stay in delulu land forever 🤍🧡💫.

After episode 4, I am now fully convinced that Bison is not as naive as he initially comes off as. He does have some naivety thanks to being so sheltered and protected and loved by Fadel. But nowhere near as naive as falling head over heels in love with Kant the moment Kant shows interest in having a long term relationship with him.
The whole incident with Babe being bullied at school showed just how smart and meticulous and sensible Bison really is. Bison doesn't show that side of him in missions with Fadel because he doesn't have to. And also because he doesn't want to. Bison hates being an assassin. He doesn't want to do these missions. He doesn't want to kill people. So he can't be bothered to be serious during his missions with Fadel. Because he knows that Fadel will take care of it. He knows Fadel has all of it under control. But when Fadel is not there to take care of things, Bison is more than capable of taking charge.
I grossly underestimated what lengths Bison can go to protect the fantasy he has created of his relationship with Kant. Bison is very much living in a fantasy. And he is also very much aware that he is living in a fantasy. So he is willing to do anything to maintain this fantasy and somehow keep holding on it. Nobody is allowed to ruin this fantasy for Bison; not Kant's creepy ex, not Fadel, not Kant and certainly not Bison himself. If Fadel can notice how shady Kant is, Bison can definitely notice it too, and even more so than Fadel because he is actually interacting with Kant. Do you want me to believe that Bison can notice Babe's wounds hidden under his shirt and not Kant's fake smile when he lies? I would rather believe that Bison does notice all of it and just chooses to ignore it. Because to him, nothing is more important than keeping his fantasy alive.
Bison is not in love with Kant yet. He is still in love with the idea of falling in love. However, he is starting to catch real feelings. But with how focused Bison is on keeping his fantasy alive, I don't think he even realizes just how invested he is becoming in Kant. Especially after he witnessed how much Kant cares for Babe, the younger brother in Bison can't help but be touched by Kant. And this is only going to make the fallout after the truth comes out that much worse.
I also find it interesting how Bison deals with the obstacles that threaten his fantasy.
First obstacle, his own suspicions about Kant. This is easy to deal with. He just chooses to overlook all shady things about Kant, gaslights himself and deludes himself to believe that the fantasy he is living in is real.
Second obstacle, Fadel. This is also pretty easy to overcome because all he has to do is whine and throw a tantrum for Fadel to give in. This is why I think him asking Kant to look for someone to keep Fadel occupied is a test to see just how interested Kant is in himself as well as genuinely wanting someone for Fadel. He is perfectly capable of making Fadel give in to him and what he wants.
The third obstacle is Kant and also his ex that popped out to show his presence out of nowhere. Bison's way of dealing with them is threatening to off them. I mean he makes it very clear that while he is willing to overlook all the shady things for the time being, but if they come between him and his fantasy he will get rid of them. And I find that so fascinating.
Episode 4 has me so excited for Bison's future character development because now I am almost sure that he will go batshit crazy when his fantasy falls apart. I am so so so excited for psycho Bison. There is something about a sweet and cute and adorable little munchkin terrifying the living daylights out of everyone around him that I love so much. I really hope Bison is as completely unhinged and impulsive and crazy as I imagine him to be. But even if he isn't that won't stop me from enjoying his character for what it is.
#thk#bison meta#i have learned to properly tag these posts so that i can find them more easily#glad i managed to finish this before ep 5 drops#i am soooooooo excited for the new episode#i had some theories about fadelbison's parents and the whole thing with ruerat#but i really don't have the energy to write those#i'll hold onto them for now

after watching the first episode, there are a loooot of things that stand out to me in terms of characterization in parallel to taming and i think i’m coming to the conclusion that actually all of them are katherine
wild thing to say i know, and obviously fadel fits the storytelling role (character needing to be tied down in order for sibling to be able to have a partner) but weirdly enough, he is the least like katherine in personality
style actually mimics petruchio’s personality quite a lot - he’s loud and unabashed and stubborn. but those are also traits of katherine. part of the reason petruchio is able to “tame” katherine is because he matches her wits and isn’t afraid to stand toe to toe with her - they’re a lot alike at the end of the day.
and with bison, he is being portrayed to be the wildcard between him and fadel when katherine is meant to be the wildcard. she’s unpredictable and violent and is the cause of a lot of bianca’s grief and that’s exactly the case with bison for fadel. he gets drunk, shoots wildly at karaoke, and then they have to move and fadel is pissed about it! and like bison also has bianca traits as well, but their dynamic seems totally switched from the play
as for kant, his personality seems less like katherine’s, but he is also another instance of needing to be “tamed.” a reformed criminal trying to get his record scrubbed. not to mention he literally has katherine’s line tattooed on his back - “if i be waspish, best beware my sting,” which i find fascinating in its own right. especially because it’s written on a tattoo of what appear to be angel wings when he actually has a bee tattoo on his chest. and like the line itself makes sense out of context because it implies people need to be weary of him - ie bison needs to be weary of trusting him - but in context it’s even more interesting because petruchio’s response is “my remedy is then to pluck it out.” he will pluck out her stinger - he will tame her. bison will tame him!
and with fadel i’m honestly kind of fascinated by the fact that despite being the katherine, the shrew, the one that needs to be tamed - he is arguably the calmest among the bunch, with the most patience? like yes, he physically dragged style out of the restaurant, but that was after style was the worst customer ever and if this was a true katherine, he would have thrown him out immediately. i do wonder if it’s because jojo is leaning into the idea of katherine being misunderstood, which is a very popular idea. that for some reason everyone thinks of fadel as this wild card, this shrew, but he’s actually just kind of a guy that will flip if his patience is really tested. it’s a little early to really tell but it’s interesting either way!
