Detecting Love
Pairing: Natasha Romanoff x fem!reader
Summary: A person with the power to detect lies meets the spy who has been trained to lie her entire life.
Warnings: fluff, light angst
Words: 6169
You have the power to detect lies.
Now, it’s not exactly strong enough to be a hero, but you can honestly say that it has been useful in your life.
Sure, it gets annoying at times, but one of the many lessons you’ve learned is to ignore minor instances of dishonesty — white lies or small things like that — since it helps reduce unnecessary confusion or chaos with others.
People lie. That is an undeniable fact of life.
And while one may believe that being able to detect such things is great, the truth is there are times when you find yourself resenting your power.
Because, of course, everyone experiences moments when they wish that someone important to them isn't lying.
Like when your fiancée tells you she loves you.
There wasn’t really a malicious reason behind why a usually affectionate statement suddenly became so hurtful.
There was no cheating.
There was no fighting.
It was just another one of the many lessons you’ve learned in life.
That sometimes…a truth can also become a lie.
It’s just unfortunate that this lesson happened to you in such a way.
These kinds of moments make you wonder if maybe it’s better that people shouldn’t always know when someone is lying to them.
Then they don’t end up alone, drinking at a bar late into the night, trying to numb the pain of a broken heart.
You let out a heavy sigh as you stare at the pair of rings resting on the bar top, remembering the conversation that ended with one of them being returned to you.
It was a heart-wrenching discussion where your fiancée confessed her steadily changed feelings for you, leading to the resolution to remain friends.
And while neither of you is completely at fault for why things ended, you can’t help but blame your stupid power for putting you in the situation in the first place.
You sigh heavily once more before swiftly downing the glass the bartender had set in front of you.
At least your current attempt to drown your sorrow is going well, judging by how the rings start to blur in your vision.
With a sad sigh, you reach for the rings to put them away, but in your clumsy state, one slips from your grasp and tumbles to the floor.
Just as you move to retrieve it, a hand beats you to it.
Looking up, you find a red-haired stranger standing before you, offering the ring to you with a charming smile.
She looks familiar but the drunken haze in your brain makes it hard for you to remember where you’ve seen her before.
“Here, you dropped this,” she says, her voice low and smooth.
She’s beautiful and her voice sounds perfect. You think to yourself as you take the ring from her.
She chuckles lightly, “Thanks.”
Oh, did you say that out loud? You must be more drunk than you thought.
The woman offers her hand to you in greeting, and with a confident smirk, she introduces herself.
“My name’s Natalie. Natalie Rushman.”
Immediately, a red aura surrounds her, causing you to roll your eyes and return your attention back to the bar.
“Liar,” you mutter tiredly as you gesture to the bartender to close your tab, not really in the mood to deal with any more lies tonight.
At the corner of your eyes, you see the stranger give you a slightly impressed look.
Ready to leave, you stand up quickly from your seat.
However, the action makes the room suddenly spin in your vision, causing you to stagger backward.
A hand steadies you, resting gently on your back, and you unconsciously lean back against her surprisingly strong frame for support.
There’s a soft chuckle near your ear, sending a shiver down your spine.
“Let me try again,” she whispers smoothly, guiding you upright and turning you around to face her.
Offering her hand once more, she reintroduces herself.
“My name’s Natasha Romanoff. I’m here to recruit you to work for the Avengers.”
You blink slowly, trying to comprehend her words through your drunken haze. You wonder if the alcohol is affecting you more than you thought when no red aura appears this time at her words.
Chuckling to yourself, you shake your head in disbelief, unfortunately worsening the pounding in your skull.
Work for the Avengers? That has to be a lie.
Before you can think about it any further, you feel yourself falling once more, unable to remain upright.
Strong arms catch you, and as your consciousness fades, you see a blurry glimpse of her striking green eyes before succumbing to darkness.
~~~~~~~ ⧗ ~~~~~~~
You wake to the pounding in your head and the bright sunlight streaming through your window. Turning away, you groan into your pillow, remembering that your fiancée – your ex-fiancée – would typically close the curtains before leaving for work.
Now that she’s gone, you’re going to have to adjust to living alone once again.
A cup being placed on the nightstand startles you into sitting up, as you turn in surprise to find the beautiful red-haired stranger beside your bed.
“For your headache,” she explains, placing some medicine next to the cup.
Your mouth hangs open as you struggle to remember the events of last night, some of which are honestly a blur.
You examine yourself, checking your clothes and finding them unchanged from the previous night, and then you scan your surroundings again and realize in relief that nothing was out of place.
Well, except for the presence of this stranger in your home, who’s patiently waiting for you to gather yourself.
Searching through your drunken memories, you think you vaguely remember meeting her last night. She had mentioned her name was — Nata…?
“Natalie?” you ask with uncertainty.
At her raised brow, you quickly apologize, feeling bad for not remembering correctly.
“I’m sorry, I can’t seem to remember, but did we…did something happen between us last night?” you ask hesitantly.
Her face twists in genuine sadness and disappointment, causing a panic to run through you as you struggle to recall what could’ve possibly happened between the two of you for her to have such an expression.
“I’m hurt,” she finally says, placing a hand on her chest, “And after you even said that it was the best night of your life.”
Seeing the familiar red aura appear around her at her words, you let out a brief sigh of relief before realization sets in, and you give her a hard glare.
“You’re lying.”
Her hurt expression quickly morphs into an impressed look, and you are slightly startled at how effortlessly she was able to shift her emotions.
The woman straightens her posture and crosses her arms, adopting a commanding stance that seems more likely her typical demeanor.
“So it’s not just luck,” she remarks, studying you curiously.
At her words, you quickly rise from your bed in confusion.
However, the action causes you to wince in pain at the pounding in your head.
Shutting your eyes tightly, you hold your head in comfort and lean lightly on the nightstand for support.
As you do, your hand brushes against yesterday’s newspaper that you had been reading moments before your ex said those fateful three words that led to the heartbreaking conversation between the two of you.
When the pain subsides, you slowly open your eyes, catching a glimpse of the front page before doing a double take.
The front features an article about the opening of the new Avenger Compound, including a photo capturing the Avenger members posed in front of the completed building.
What catches you off guard is the uncanny resemblance between one of the Avengers in the picture and the woman standing before you.
Pointing at her in disbelief, you stammer.
“You’re…,” then, gesturing at the newspaper, you continue, “…her?”
She doesn’t respond to your question but instead nods toward your other room, inviting you to follow.
“Let’s talk,” she says, heading toward your door, then gestures at the medicine on your nightstand. “But drink those first.”
After freshening up in your bathroom, you take a moment to stare at your reflection in the mirror, noticing the remnants of last night’s tears in your slightly puffy, red eyes.
Sighing, you brush away the depressing thoughts of your failed relationship before taking the medicine and exiting your room.
You are greeted by the sight of your unexpected guest comfortably seated at your kitchen counter, flipping through a magazine with casual disinterest.
“You’re Black Widow,” you say confidently this time, positioning yourself on the opposite side of her.
She closes the magazine with a snap, placing it on the table before clasping her hands atop of it and meeting your gaze.
“It’s actually Natasha,” she corrects you, before nodding at you. “And you’re Y/n L/n.”
“How did you…?”
She holds up a wedding invitation draft, displaying you and your fiancée’s names printed in fine lettering.
Realizing that she must have been snooping around your things, you give her a disapproving glare, snatching the card from her hand and hastily stuffing it into a drawer.
Feeling a mixture of emotions—irritated, sad, hungover—you turn to the fridge, deciding to make breakfast to give yourself some focus.
After you retrieve the eggs and other ingredients, you heat the stove before glancing at Natasha briefly, asking, “So, what does an Avenger want from me?”
Out of the corner of your eye, you see her resting her head against her hand, watching you with interest.
“I told you yesterday,” she replies.
You roll your eyes, giving her a deadpan look, knowing she’s aware that you don’t remember.
“Remind me again.”
Natasha gives you an amused smirk, straightening up in her seat.
“Alright, I’m here to recruit you, more specifically for a sort of managerial position at the new Avenger Compound.”
Furrowing your brows, you question, “Why me? I don't have experience with that sort of thing.”
“But you can tell when someone is lying, can’t you?”
Pausing briefly in your cooking, you contemplate her words and its possible implications. Not many people know about your ability, and you don’t think you did anything to reveal it to the spy who’s currently staring expectantly at you.
So, in response, you shrug, replying as casually as possible.
“I guess you could say I’m good at reading people…psychology degree and all.”
A silence ensues, broken only by the sizzling of your cooking, until Natasha finally nods, seemingly accepting your explanation.
You breathe a silent sigh of relief, returning your attention to your current task.
But then she pulls out a folder filled with documents and places it on the counter, causing your nerves to rise again.
“Well, you’ve helped solve hundreds of cases with your interviews of the suspects,” she remarks casually, flipping through the folder before glancing up at you through her lashes.
“100% accuracy rate in the information that you provided to the detectives,” she continues, nodding at you in acknowledgment. “For a part-time profiler, that’s impressive.”
“Thanks,” you respond with a polite smile, but beneath the surface, a hint of suspicion creeps in as you begin plating the meal you made.
Natasha closes the folder with a definitive snap, making you look at her.
“You could say it’s almost impossible,” she muses, before a confident smirk forms on her face, and she tilts her head at you with a raised brow in challenge.
“Unless there’s some way you can guarantee that they’re telling the truth.”
Honestly, you should’ve known better than to think that the experienced spy hadn’t already completed thorough research and investigations into you and your powers before meeting with you.
If anything, this was likely just a test for her to confirm what she already knows about your abilities.
Sliding a plate across the counter to Natasha with a pointed glare, you relent, deciding there’s no point in denying it anymore.
“Fine, what do you know?”
Instead of responding, Natasha’s gaze lingers on the plate before her, a hint of confusion in her expression.
Her plate holds a fluffy omelette accompanied by a side of crispy bacon and a slice of golden-brown toasted bread.
As she glances back up at you with a questioning look in her eyes, you take a seat across from her, setting down a similar plate in front of you before also placing a stack of fluffy pancakes at the center.
“What’s this?” she asks, gesturing to the meal.
“Breakfast,” you reply bluntly, taking a bite from your plate.
Natasha raises a brow at you, remarking plainly, “It’s noon.”
“Brunch then,” you correct with a roll of your eyes.
Natasha's lips quirk up in amusement, and she shakes her head.
“Thanks, but I’ve already eaten.”
The red aura appears around her, and with your mouth full of food, you give her a pointed glare.
“Right,” Natasha says in realization, remembering what you can do. She pulls the plate closer to her with a soft thanks.
The atmosphere that followed was unusual but surprisingly not awkward. Despite being practically strangers, you find yourself slightly comforted by Natasha’s presence.
If she wasn’t here, you probably wouldn’t have dragged yourself out of bed today after what happened yesterday.
After a moment of eating, Natasha breaks the silence.
“So, how can you tell when someone’s lying?”
Pausing to contemplate your answer, you wipe your mouth with a napkin before responding.
“Well, when someone lies, there’s always this rush of chemicals that happens in their bodies,” you explain. “It ends up causing the typical indicators — things like fidgeting, sweating, or tone changes in their voice.”
“I didn’t do any of that, yet you still knew I was lying,” Natasha points out.
“No, you're right,” you admit, nodding. “You’re a perfect liar.”
From what you have seen so far, every expression and comment of hers appears genuine and honest, and if it was anyone else, they’d probably believe anything she says.
However, thanks to your ability, you know better.
Gesturing at her, you clarify, “You still give off the same chemical reactions though, and I have the ability to see that.”
Natasha leans back in her seat, crossing her arms as she processes your explanation.
“It’s mainly visual then,” she concludes before asking curiously. “You don’t even need to hear what they said to know that they’re lying?”
You nod, ruefully adding, “Yep, my world’s just filled with people glowing red at random.”
“And how long does this ‘glow’ stay around them?”
“Depends,” you reply with a shrug. “Usually not long, maybe a few seconds.”
Natasha hums in interest, tapping her chin, her brows pinching lightly in thought.
You can’t help but smile amusedly at the sight.
For a person who has such an intimidating reputation, the spy in front of you right now looks kind of cute rather than scary.
After a moment, you break the silence this time.
“So, what’s the job?”
Natasha’s eyes focus back on you at your question.
“Nothing too complicated,” she assures. “You’ll be in charge of interviewing the new employee candidates and conducting continuous reviews of the current ones.”
“You mean like screening them?” you ask, tilting your head in confusion, already aware of the rigorous and difficult process required to work at the Avengers buildings.
“Don’t you guys already do extensive background checks before hiring people? Why do you suddenly need me?”
At your question, a charming smile appears on her face, effortlessly shifting her expression like before, though now you understand she’s just hiding her true feelings about the situation.
“That’s confidential.”
You scoff in disbelief and cross your arms.
“You do know that just makes it harder to trust you, right?”
Natasha mirrors your posture, her pretty grin still in place, masking any other emotions.
“Fair point,” she admits. “But to be honest, you should never put your trust in people like me anyway.”
“People like you?”
“Spies,” Natasha clarifies as she begins to gather her empty plate and utensils. “Which is one of the types of people you’d be looking out for in this position. Their deception skills would be on a similar level to mine.”
You chuckle at that, causing Natasha to pause in her actions, raising a brow at you in question.
“Sorry, but everyone lies, whether you’re a spy or not,” you tell her, standing and taking the empty plate from her with a small smirk. “You’re just slightly better at it.”
A tiny offended look slips through Natasha’s expression at your little jab, her brow furrowing for a brief second.
Your grin widens at the sight of seeing a glimpse of her real self as you turn to place the dirty dishes in the sink.
Natasha quickly regains her composure, moving around the counter to lean back against the table next to you.
“In any case, the decision is still yours. I’ve already confirmed your abilities. It’s up to you to decide if you want to accept.”
At her words, you pause to consider your options.
A new job working with the Avengers is a great opportunity, but it would be a significant change in your life.
Then again, you’re already facing a huge change.
Your eyes unconsciously drift to the drawer next to where Natasha is leaning, where the wedding invitation draft remains, and your face twists in sadness at the memory.
You guess it wouldn’t hurt to add a career change alongside your new relationship status.
At least this way you can still earn a salary while also distracting yourself from the depressing thoughts of your failed engagement.
“Okay,” you decide, meeting Natasha’s gaze with a sigh, “I’ll take the job.”
“Great, I knew you would be agreeable,” Natasha remarks, extending her hand to you.
A red aura appears around her, causing you to huff and roll your eyes.
You take her hand in yours, giving her a tiny glare.
“Liar.”
~~~~~~~ ⧗ ~~~~~~~
“I don’t remember agreeing to this.”
You say that as you dodge another swing from Natasha, ducking under her arm to get behind her, only for her to twist her body around and deliver a kick that you narrowly block with your arms.
Still, the impact has you stumbling back.
“Really?” Natasha asks with an innocent tone as she circles you. “I thought I mentioned to you that training was a part of your employment.”
A red aura begins to appear around her, but you don’t have time to comment before she swings her leg at you again.
You catch it against your side with a small grunt of pain.
Having been a profiler for criminal cases before, you do have basic defense training, and you always believed that you could hold your own against most aggressors.
At least you used to.
This current fight is making you reconsider your skills.
With her off-balance position, you attempt to throw her to the ground, but Natasha swiftly regains her footing, catching herself on her hands and executing a fluid movement to flip upright. She then bends low, sweeping your legs out from under you.
You land on the mat with a groan, feeling the impact reverberate through your body. Another pained breath escapes you as Natasha expertly pins you down.
You catch the faint red aura fading from her before throwing your head back against the mat with an exhausted sigh.
“You’re such a liar,” you breathe out, your voice tinged with both exhaustion and playful accusation. Closing your eyes, you take a moment to catch your breath.
Natasha's laughter fills the air, resonating above you, her amusement infectious and drawing a small grin from you. You peek open your eyes, watching as she disengages from atop you and heads over to her water bottle at the side.
“I’m a spy. It comes with the job,” she says casually, taking a sip.
“Okay, and I’m basically just HR,” you counter, pulling yourself upright into a sitting position. “So how does combat training fit into that?”
Natasha gestures towards you with a sweep of her hand.
“You need to be prepared to defend yourself if you ever expose someone dangerous and find yourself without backup,” she explains.
“That’s unlikely considering I haven’t even encountered anyone suspicious since I started,” you remark with a sigh.
It's been a month already, and you're starting to question if your presence here is even necessary.
Before you can dwell further on your thoughts, the cold touch of a metal water bottle against your cheek startles you.
Recoiling, you look up to see Natasha holding it out to you.
Raising a brow, Natasha waves the bottle lightly in offer.
You snatch the bottle from her with a tiny glare, but she only smirks in response.
Apart from the new job, the other surprising addition to your life is your budding friendship with the Avenger.
After the whole recruiting ordeal, you honestly expected to only have passing encounters with her at the compound.
However, to your surprise, on your first day here, Natasha was the one who volunteered to give you a tour of the place, and in the days that followed, the two of you would often share coffee and chat before you had to head off to your respective jobs.
Those regular interactions with her also earned you a fearsome reputation among the other workers, which actually works out in your favor since they’re already nervous by the time you call them in for a review. This way they are more likely to slip up and reveal anything they may be hiding.
But, like you said, you haven’t found anything substantial yet.
With a heavy sigh, you pull your knees to your chest, resting your forehead against them, feeling the weight of failure bearing down on you.
Then you hear Natasha plop down beside you.
“Back when we met, you asked me why we needed you,” she begins.
Curious at her words, you turn your head slightly to glance at her, waiting for her explanation.
Natasha leans back on her hands, her gaze fixed on the ceiling as she continues to speak.
“A couple of months ago, our surveillance revealed that someone within the compound staff was plotting an attack during the opening ceremony of the new building. However, we couldn’t confirm who it was without risking exposing that we knew of their plan."
Your eyes widen in confusion at the revelation. From what you remember, the opening ceremony was a success. There hadn’t been any news of an attack that day.
“But you caught them, right?” you inquire.
“No,” Natasha responds, shaking her head before meeting your gaze. “You did.”
Surprised, you straighten up, giving her a questioning look.
Natasha offers a small smile, elaborating, “You had recently interviewed him as a suspect for another case, and in your notes, you labeled him as dangerous and untrustworthy, despite everything about him proving otherwise.”
“And you believed me?” you ask incredulously.
Natasha shrugs, “Well, I had no other leads at the time anyway.”
You scoff in exasperation at her teasing, playfully pushing her away.
She chuckles softly before adopting a more serious expression.
“Trust in your abilities, Y/n,” Natasha says with a genuine tone. “If it’s you, not finding anyone suspicious is a good thing.”
You watch her closely, waiting for the red aura to appear.
But as a couple of seconds pass and nothing changes, you tuck your forehead back against your knees, this time to hide the smile threatening to spread across your face.
“Alright, break’s over,” Natasha announces, giving your back an encouraging pat. “Let’s go again.”
You groan in reluctance, remaining in your curled-up position.
“Come on,” Natasha urges, her tone coaxing. “I’ll go easy on you this time.”
You don’t even need to look up to know the red aura is surrounding her.
~~~~~~~ ⧗ ~~~~~~~
“What’s this?”
Natasha's voice draws your attention away from the task of pouring cooked popcorn into a bowl.
She's sitting on your sofa, examining a small, elegant card that you had accidentally left on the table.
Widening your eyes in realization of what she’s found, you hurry over to her, but her narrowed eyes tell you that she has already read the names on the card.
“She’s inviting you to her wedding?” Natasha exclaims, disbelief coloring her tone. “It’s only been a year since your breakup, and now she’s already getting married?!”
Sighing in disappointment, you had hoped to keep this information from Natasha, who developed a strong dislike for your ex after you shared the details of your breakup during one of your girls' nights.
Placing the bowl of popcorn on the table, you take the invitation from her hand and head to the kitchen, intending to tuck it away in a drawer.
As you slide it open, you catch the sight of the old wedding draft buried at the bottom, which causes a tiny pang of sadness in your chest at the memory of that time, of how everything changed so suddenly.
You can't help but wonder how your life might have unfolded if your engagement hadn't ended.
Would you still have accepted Natasha's offer if you hadn't been seeking a distraction from your failed relationship?
“You’re not thinking about going, are you?” Natasha's voice interrupts your thoughts.
Glancing up, you notice a peculiar look in her eyes, though it quickly shifts to a neutral expression at your gaze.
After a whole year of spending time together, you could tell underneath her impassive expression that she was upset about something; though, you figured it was just outrage at the situation.
Tossing the invitation into the drawer and shutting it, you offer her a small reassuring smile before returning to your seat beside her to start the movie.
“No, of course not,” you tell her.
As the opening scenes play, you maintain a normal, nonchalant expression, aware of Natasha's gaze still lingering on you even as the red aura fades from around your body.
After a while, Natasha huffs in disbelief before finally settling into the sofa, pulling the bowl of popcorn into her lap.
“You better be sharing that, Romanoff,” you tease, your eyes fixed on the screen.
Natasha scoffs before tossing a piece of popcorn at you.
“Of course, I will.”
Just as you're about to turn your head to look at her and confirm her honesty, she swiftly shoves a cushion pillow to the side of your face, blocking your view.
After a few seconds, she releases it, fluffing the cushion casually before leaning her head against your shoulder and tossing another piece of popcorn into her mouth.
You chuckle at her antics, amused by her playful behavior, before returning your attention to the screen.
A few days later, you find yourself standing on the outskirts of the wedding area, observing as servers and workers hustle to complete the finishing touches.
A sad, bittersweet expression tugs at your lips as you recognize familiar details chosen by your ex, mingled with hints of a stranger’s preferences in the decorations.
To be honest, you don’t intend to stay for the wedding. You're just here to confirm something for yourself.
Taking a deep breath, you close your eyes, conjuring your ex’s face in your mind, and whisper to yourself.
“I’m in love with her…”
Opening your eyes, you exhale slowly, a content smile on your lips as you notice the red aura surrounding your skin. It's a relief to be able to find closure regarding your feelings for your ex.
“You know, I don’t need powers to know you were lying,” a voice remarks from behind.
Startled, you turn to find Natasha approaching.
She stops beside you, her gaze fixed at the scene ahead as she accuses, “Saying that you weren’t going to come here.”
You look at her briefly before returning your attention to the field.
“I got curious about something,” you admit. “Figured that this was one way to confirm it.”
Excited and happy chatter fills the air as your ex appears, surrounded by friends and family.
Suddenly, thoughts of what-ifs from the other night resurface, prompting you to ask out loud unconsciously before you can stop yourself.
“Do you think I should’ve just pretended that she was telling the truth at that time — when she said she loved me?” you ask Natasha. “Maybe it might’ve worked out between us if I just kept my mouth shut.”
There’s a beat of silence before Natasha finally responds, her tone tinged with wistfulness.
“From my experience,” she begins, “I can tell you that living a lie would not make you happy…no matter how much you wish for it to be true.”
You chuckle lightly, “You’re probably right.”
“Of course I am,” Natasha says confidently.
A comfortable silence falls between you as you both observe the preparations from a distance.
“She is a fool for letting you go, though,” Natasha suddenly adds, her tone casual.
You laugh softly, gently chiding her, “You can’t call the bride that on her wedding day.”
“Alright then,” Natasha concedes, turning to you. “You’re an even bigger fool for coming here by yourself.”
She returns her gaze to the field, muttering under her breath with a hint of irritation, “…still visiting the one who broke your heart.”
Amused, you tilt your head to catch her eyes, chuckling at her words, as you tease, “You know, it almost sounds like you’re jealous.”
When Natasha doesn’t respond or look at you, you raise a brow in surprise and poke her side.
“Wait, seriously, are you jealous?”
She swats your hand away.
“Stop that,” Natasha reprimands, before gritting out, “I’m not jealous!”
A small grin forms on your face as you notice the red aura appear, causing Natasha to roll her eyes and walk away.
“I’m leaving,” she declares firmly.
“Aww, come on, Natasha,” you call as you trail behind her.
Glancing back at you and seeing your pleased expression, she points at you in warning.
“That smile better be off your face by the time I pull up, or else you’re walking home,” she states before continuing on her way.
Watching her go with a fond smile, you find yourself softly repeating the words.
“I’m in love with her.”
Looking down, your smile widens when you don’t see the red aura appear, confirming what you already knew about your feelings for the red-haired spy.
~~~~~~~ ⧗ ~~~~~~~
As you sit in your office at the Avenger compound, you feel a sense of fatigue wash over you at your busy schedule of back-to-back interviews.
Across from you, the final candidate squirms in her seat, clearly nervous under your scrutinizing gaze.
A chill sweeps through the room, courtesy of the cold blast of air from the AC, and you can't help but regret your decision to have it set so cold, a choice originally intended to maintain an intimidating atmosphere during interviews.
With a sigh, you reluctantly pull your hands from the cozy warmth of your hoodie pocket and turn to the next page of questions.
"Let's talk about handling confidential information," you begin, your voice cutting through the tension in the room. "Can you share a time when you had to ensure the secure handling of sensitive data?"
The candidate responds with some slight hesitation, but you sense it’s more from her nerves than any dishonesty, so you continue, moving on to the remaining questions.
Luckily, the rest of the interview goes by quickly and smoothly with her answering the other questions without any problems.
However, now comes the final question of the interview.
“Among the Avengers, who do you consider to be the hottest?”
Clearly caught off-guard, she stumbles over her words, “W-what?”
Maintaining your serious demeanor, you repeat the question.
“Who do you believe is the hottest Avenger?”
After a moment's pause, she softly answers, “Black Widow..."
Setting your clipboard down, you extend your hand.
"Thank you for coming. It was nice meeting you," you say, signaling the end of the interview.
As she thanks you and leaves, you flip to the last paper on your clipboard, revealing a sheet with tick marks beside the names of your Avenger friends.
With an amused smile, you add another mark at the end of Natasha’s already leading line.
“I don’t think that last question was approved by Steve,” a voice accuses from the doorway.
Glancing up, you see Natasha leaning against the frame, her arms folded.
You shrug in response, “Makes it more interesting though.”
Natasha hums curiously before moving to your side, perching on the edge of your desk. Her narrowed eyes fix on you.
“Is that my hoodie?” she asks in suspicion as she tugs at your sleeve.
“Maybe,” you reply, hastily pulling the hood over your head to conceal your guilty eyes.
Natasha had left the piece of clothing at your place after her last visit, and given the chilly room, borrowing it seemed harmless enough.
“Don’t you have a briefing to get to?” you deflect, attempting to change the subject.
Natasha huffs knowingly before responding, "I had some spare time, so I came to bother you."
"I’m honored," you quip sarcastically, though inwardly your heart warmed at the fact that she thought of you.
Natasha chuckles lightly, then gestures towards your clipboard.
"Ask me some questions," she prompts, her tone playful yet eager.
Deciding to indulge her, you reach for your clipboard and adopt a serious demeanor.
“Name?” you begin.
Natasha shoots you a deadpan look, prompting you to show her the document with the question written on it.
“If they lie about their name, then that’s a red flag already,” you defend, giving her a pointed look.
“Natalie,” you mock.
Natasha chuckles, shaking her head at the memory before extending her hand.
“It’s actually Natasha,” she corrects, playing along.
Skipping past the other general questions, you delve into more targeted inquiries related to threat assessment.
“Have you ever been associated with any extremist or radical groups or organizations?” you ask.
“If you consider working undercover to gain intel on them, then yes,” Natasha responds without hesitation.
“Have you ever participated or been involved in any violent behavior where someone was hurt?”
This one makes her pause for a moment before she finally admits softly, "…yes."
As the questioning continues, Natasha's playful demeanor gradually fades, replaced by a rueful tone.
By the time you reach the final question, she places her hand on your clipboard, gently setting it down on the desk.
"Maybe these questions aren’t meant for people like me," she says sadly, her tone filled with regret.
Observing her disappointed expression, you scoot closer and rest your hand on hers to draw her attention.
“Do you still want to hear my final assessment?” you ask gently.
After a contemplative pause, Natasha nods, curiosity evident in her eyes as she gestures for you to continue.
“Well, based on your answers,” you say with a dramatic pause, flipping through the papers before shaking your head firmly.
“Absolutely not. Extremely dangerous. Definitely a high-risk candidate.”
Natasha huffs in disbelief at your teasing and gives you a playful push. As your laughter subsides, you soften your tone, meeting her gaze sincerely.
“But…I’d trust you,” you admit genuinely.
Natasha's eyes widen slightly before she averts her gaze, clearing her throat. Her fingers toy with the clipboard, flipping to the last page and seeing the score sheet, before chuckling in amusement.
Turning back to you, she tilts her head with a raised brow.
“I don’t get the special question?” she asks.
You take the clipboard from her, offering a knowing look as you begin to organize the documents on your desk.
“I think we both already know your answer to that question,” you reply.
“Then ask me another,” Natasha insists.
Her request makes you pause as you ponder what to ask. Only one thing comes to mind, the question you’ve been hesitating to ask her for a long time.
Meeting her expectant gaze, you find yourself wanting to know the answer, despite the fear in your mind at the possibility of causing another big change in your life again.
Summoning your courage, you face her directly.
“Would you…,” you start, faltering momentarily before gathering yourself with a deep breath.
“...would you say ‘yes’ if I asked you out on a date tonight?”
There's a moment of silence, and just as you consider retracting the question, Natasha reaches out and adjusts the hood atop your head.
Perplexed by her action, you watch her suspiciously. Then, in one swift motion, she pulls the hood down over your eyes, obscuring your vision.
“No,” her voice responds to your question.
Hearing her stand, you quickly remove the hood to see Natasha already making her way out of the door, but before she disappears from your view, you catch the red aura surrounding her slowly fading away.
As an excited smile spreads across your face at the revelation of her true answer, your phone on the desk pings with a new message. Glancing at the screen, you see a text from Natasha.
I’ll pick you up tonight.

🥺 hi. I get so anxious asking for requests. So I’m sorry if it’s weird. But could I please please Pleaseee get a ghost x fem reader. Hurt to comfort. They were on a mission and she’s there for medic help. Not even to fight. But she got taken by the bad guys. And she gets tortured for information that she doesn’t have. And they play mind games with her. Making her think that they will never come rescue her. They really fully break her body and break her mind by the end of it. But before she thinks she’s about to finally die, Ghost and the others come and save her. And it’s about how the only person she feels safe with after all that is ghost and just him helping her heal and get back to the woman she was before all this. I want it to hurt my soul. 😭 but then there’s hope at the end of it bc they have each other.
My Heart Will Go On
Don't be, I love when people ask me things, and I looooved this request so much!!! I too like to torturehave fun with my OC's :)
TW: Blood, torture, manipulation
Pairing: GhostxReader
Part 2
It wasn’t supposed to happen like this. It wasn’t supposed to happen at all, actually. It was just another mission, another day on the job. You went out with the boys as usual, their assigned medic as theyghost refused to work with anybody else. You weren’t sure why. Maybe it was your soft demeanor, your gentle touch, the way you never judged himthem for anything hethey did. But whatever it was, they liked you, and so with them you went.
You hung back at the evac point, also as usual. Sitting in the truck, first aid kit on your lap, a comm in your ear as you listened to your boys and made sure they were all okay. It was a tense fight, gunshots and pained grunting filling your headset. You were on edge, rocking back and forth as you listened for your que to come in. In fact, you were so focused on the comms that you didn’t even notice the danger you were in until it was too late.
Your first cue something was wrong was when the comms went silent. The sounds of battle filled your ears for hours before getting cut off abruptly. Your hand shot to the comm link, fiddling with it as you frantically tried to reconnect, worried something was wrong.
“Ghost, do you copy?”
“Ghost?”
“Price?”
“Gaz?”
“Can you hear me??” Your voice got more and more panicked as you got no response. You yanked the headset off and shrugged your vest on, kit in hand as you slid out of the truck.
Your second clue something was wrong was when you looked up to see the barrel of a gun pointed directly at your face. You didn't even have time to ask ‘what’ before everything went dark.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Hello, princesa.” You blink hard as the blindfold is removed from your eyes. The light is blinding, the splitting headache you got from being pistol whipped only intensifying under the harsh lights.
“Who are you?” You manage after a moment, eyes slowly focusing on the man in front of you. He is large, easily over six foot, and built like an absolute unit. His face is covered by a black balaclava, though his scarred, tattooed forearms are on display.
“Don’t play stupid with me.” His voice is deep and smooth, and if you weren’t in the situation you are in you would have asked him to keep talking.
“‘M not! I don't-"
“Don’t lie to me Princesa. I don’t like liars.” A shiver runs down your spine as his tone darkens.
“But I’m-”
“Ah ah lovie, I am one asking questions here.”
“I wasn’t ask-”
“SHUT UP!” You flinch back at the drastic change in tone, the sound sending bolts of pain through your skull.
“Oh sorry Princesa, did that hurt?” Seriously, you are going to get whiplash from his bi-polar personality, “Forgot you have concussion. Let's get you Advil for that and then we see if you talk, yeah?"
You watch with blurry vision as he leaves the room, slamming the door shut behind him. The sound sends waves of agony through your pounding head, and by the time you can focus again he's back.
All it takes is one well placed blow to the head, an attempt to get you to pay attention, and you're out like a light.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“I don’t know anything I swear! Please! I don't know anything!” The sobs tear raggedly out of your throat, already raw from screaming. Your voice is scratchy and broken, but still you can't stop begging.
“I don’t know anything” You sob. Those words, I don’t know, had become your motto over the past few daysweeks(?)
“Oh Princesa. I know.” He croons, running a finger down your bruised face.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Time was meaningless. Has it been 2 days since you were captured? Two weeks? Months? You don’t know. Your meals come at staggered times, and your captors never come at a routine time. The lights turn on and off at staggered times, nothing in a set pattern, a system created to mess with your mind.
Not that you know that. This wasn’t the kind of life you lived. You were a medic for heaven's sake. Your hands had been built to mend, to fix, to heal. Not to clutch at broken bones, to scratch against cement, to be chained and broken. You arewere a gentle creature, not designed for this world of torture and terror.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"They no come for you." You moan as the words pound through your skull, nearly unintelligible.
"Wh'...y'say?" You mumble, voice scratchy and broken.
"You're friends, Princesa. They are no coming for you." He sighs and moves next you, prodding your side with his steel-toed boot, "You are replaceable, your skills are easily replicated, they no spend time and resources to find a simple medic."
"They…'ll c'me." You wheeze, refusing to belive that Price, that Gaz, that Soap, that Ghost, would just...leave you.
He laughs in response, digging his toe into your side until your gasping in pain.
"We shall see, Princesa. We shall see."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You weren’t built for this. Weren’t built to recognize the manipulation, the mind games. Weren’t built to survive the two-face man who was reshaping your brain. The man who was your greatest source of pain, but also your only friend. The man that flayed your flesh open, but soothed and bandaged you when it was all over. This man, who was slowly becoming the only thing you could trust in your unstable world. He may bring you unbearable pain, but he brought you comfort too.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"That looks bad, Princesa." The man lightly touches the bones sticking out of your forearm. You whine in pain, clutching it to your chest. He chuckles, wiping your blood off on the cell floor.
"Let's get that fixed up, yeah?" His voice is soft, and gentle, and the nicest thing you've heard in a loooong time. His touch is the same, gentle caresses of bruised and broken skin, revolting and appealing at the same time.
Oh, it's utter agony as he sets and stitches your arm with no pain killers. You scream, back arching, lungs heaving, body seizing.
But after? Oh it's heaven. He holds you, cradling you against his warm body, making sure you don't go into shock, telling you you're a good girl, and that you've made him proud. You hate yourself for it, but you can't help but preen at the praise.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He brings you a calendar. One month. It’s been one month since you got taken.
“It’s been over a month.” He says, a deep voice tinged with pity, “and no sign of your…friends. I’d give up being rescued if I were you, because they clearly have.” You can barely hear him as you stare at the paper in his hands, 31 days marked off with big, bright X’s. 31 days that you have been trapped here. 31 days that your squad…hadn’t come for you. Is he right? Are they really not coming? Did Ghost really give up on you? Are you-
“Ay Princesa, I even did what you asked. I sent your squad pictures and videos that even the greenest tech member could pull some coordinates from, but nothing. It’s like I said. Your ‘friends’ don’t care for you. They are not coming for you. I am your only friend in this place. Tell me, who bandages your wounds, who feeds you, who makes sure your living space is comfortable?”
“Y-you do.” You whisper uncertainty, “But…you also hurt me, don’t you?”
“Oh Princesa, I wouldn’t hurt ya if y’ would just listen. It not torture if you're disobedient. It's just…punishment.” His voice is sickeningly sweet, “And you just back-talked me. Do you remember what happens when you try to give me sass?”
"I get…punished." You mumble, cheeks flushing with shame.
"Obviously, you fucking idiot. I mean how."
"I…you…I have to do affirmations."
"Look at that, y'r gettin' it!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Say it again." He snarls. You sit in front of a mirror, face bruised, bleeding, and swollen.
"I 'm r'pl'c'able, my friends…'re n-no'...c'min'...I 'm no' l'v'ble…I 'm r'pl'c'…able." You whisper for the hundredth time.
"Again."
"I 'm r'pl'c'able, my friends 're no'...c'min'...I 'm no' l'vable, I 'm r'pl'c'…able."
"Again!"
"I 'm r'pl'c'able, my friends 're no'...c'min'...I 'm no' l'vable, I 'm r'pl'c'…able."
He makes you keep going, repeating those 4 sentences until you literally can't make sound anymore, a fact he tests by seeing how much it takes to get you to scream. You pass out before he gets anywhere.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Ghost?"
"Simon?"
"Please."
"Why are you not coming for me?"
just FYI if the timing seems disjointed and the speech is wierd, that is intentiweird,
anyways I hope you liked it!!!!
Hey I was reading your X-men posts and I just had an idea and if it is possible for you can you write about reader was with Bucky or Steve or both (your choice) but they break her heart and she finds love again with Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) or Eric Lehnsherr (Michael Fassbender) or both (again your choice) and protect her from Steve/Bucky 😅❤️
hi honey! thank you for requesting this, I hope you like what I've written!
summary - love can be deceiving especially with the wrong person, but it's so much more when it's with the right person.
warning - cheating? angst, word whore is used, insecurities, small violence.
the gif I use isn't mine, divider by @newlips (deactivated)
Bucky Barnes had been your light since the day The Avengers found you. He had been the one to comfort you when the nightmares would become too much, the one to love you like you’ve never been loved before. So why did it feel like your heart was being ripped out of your chest as you heard him talking to his friends. Why did it feel like the opposite of love?
“I’m so sick of Y/n being attached to me all of the time! And does she really think I love her?! Has she seen herself lately? She’s no Nat or Sharon. She’s just her, plain.” Bucky groans, rolling his eyes and taking a sip of his beer. “Oh, did I tell you that I hooked up with a smoking hot babe last night?” He smirks. “Man could she bend.”
You suck in a breath quietly, not wanting to be heard and also struggling to hold back your pain. You walk back to your room, quickly packing your things and disappearing into the night. You knew it was too good to be true, not once in your life had anything ever turned out good. You always seemed to end up with the short end of the stick. You had nowhere to go, a bag in your hand and the moon shining down on you. You felt stupid, you should’ve stayed, found a place before you left.
You decided to walk a few blocks, taking a random train, wanting to distance yourself. You had turned your phone off and threw it away at the first sight of Bucky calling you. You couldn’t turn back now, too busy with your head down, looking at the ground you manage to bump into someone. Your bag falling from your hands, hitting the floor with a thump. “I–I’m so sorry!” You go to kneel but stop when you notice your bag floating in the air.
“It’s not safe for a pretty girl to be out this late. You don’t know who you might end up bumping into.” You blink, your eyes connecting with blue. The random man hums, “Ah, Y/n L/n. What are you doing so far from home? Don’t you know you have many people looking for you? Some good, some bad.”
You shrug, “I don’t care…” You wipe your cheeks, ensuring there are no tear marks on them. “Who are you?”
The unknown man stares, face like stone. Reminding you so much of the man you just left. “And here I thought I made a reputation for myself.” He studies you, “Erik Lehnsherr, but I also go by Magneto.”
You nod. “It’s nice to meet you. If you excuse me, I have somewhere to be…” You lie, you recognise the name, you knew of the people he used to hang around before he fully embraced his dark side. You couldn’t have him handing you back out of spite, you didn’t want to go back. Not after what you heard.
Erik’s hand flies out, gripping your arm softly. “No, you don’t. But I’m not a total monster, I won’t let a pretty girl like you stay out on the streets all night. God knows what will happen.” He begins to pull you along, ignoring your protests. “Be quiet, don’t make me regret being kind.”
Your mouth falls open as you stand in front of the X-Mansion, beginning to feel uncomfortable as you realise these people may judge you. You weren’t a mutant, you were a freak, an unloved freak. “I–I can’t stay here!”
“Why not?” Erik looks down at you, “Oh, are you one of those vampires that need inviting in?”
You look up at him with your head tilted, “Huh? What… No. I just, these people are… and I’m me… Plain…” You begin to play with your fingers.
“Hmm, whoever said that should get their eyes checked. Now come. I’m sure Charles is awaiting our arrival.” Instead of dragging you by the arm, he moves his hand and opens it, waiting for you to slip yours into his.
Months had passed since you had bumped into Erik, Charles had accepted you into their family, proving to you that you were one of them. Erik had come and gone many of times since he had taken you here, and each time you began to dread when he had to leave again. Your relationship with him was okay, it had begun quite stiff and slowly blossomed into a friendship, the only issue is you fell for him. But you knew you weren’t good enough for a man like Erik, Bucky had proved that.
Today you were excited though, Erik was coming back, and you had decided to wear your favourite dress, remembering the first time you had worn it, and he couldn’t stop staring at it. Deep down your insecurities were saying it’s because he hated the dress and was wondering how someone like you could ruin a pretty piece of clothing by wearing it, but another part of you had hoped it was the opposite, that he liked your dress.
You walk out of your room, smoothing out your dress as you begin to head to the door where you hear voices. A smile forms on your face, ready to see Erik again. You enter the room and your smile falls, he had finally found you. You didn’t want to face him, he was the reason you didn’t think you were good enough anymore.
‘Y/n, I don’t want you to think I invited him, I tried to stop him, but I cannot do much unless I control someone’s mind and you understand why I didn’t, right?’ Charles speaks into your mind, your eyes connect with his and you nod.
“This is where you’ve been this whole time?! Do you know how worried we were?! How could you be so stupid!!” Bucky growls, moving closer. It’s as though you up and leaving him had struck a nerve, but you don’t know why, he didn’t love you like you did him.
You hated yourself in this moment, you wanted to stand up for yourself and show him that his words didn’t hurt, but everything was coming back, and you couldn’t move or speak. “I–I…”
“Take one step closer to her and I’ll shove that arm of yours down your throat.” A voice speaks from behind you, Erik steps out from the shadows, moving closer to you. His hand rests on your lower back, calming you down when you didn’t even know you needed to be calm.
Bucky spins his arm, glaring. “Who are you?” His eyes fall to where Erik’s hand rests before he looks at you. “Is this why you ran off? Because you’re a whore?” Bucky steps forward, ignoring Erik’s warning causing Bucky to let out a cry of pain as his arm begins to get crushed.
“I warned you to not step closer to her. Yet you ignored that and insulted her.” He moves in front of you, pulling you to stay behind him. “Charles may have not wanted to control your mind because he’s a good guy, but I’m not.” With a flick of his hand, Bucky rises and gets thrown through the door. Erik stalks forward and glares at him. “If you ever come near Y/n again, I will kill you.” He makes sure to watch Bucky leave before he turns and walks toward you before you can even open your mouth to thank him, he grips the sides of your face and pulls you in, bringing you into a passionate kiss.
Was this what love felt like?
thank you for reading!
feedback and reblogs are greatly appreciated.
obey me you know them au part 3
lucifer time… yay… (not really excited for him, but I’m warming up) it’s a bit short sorry lol also lucifer might be one of the only/THE only brother you meet physically and keep seeing in real life
you were in a coffee/drink shop attempting to walk back to your seat, but having a hard time because the stuff was hot.
and you being the clumsy idiot you are, bump into someone, spilling your coffee/drink all over him.
you apologized profusely. he was annoyed at first but he saw how you weren’t just apologizing because you were afraid of the consequences, you were apologizing because you genuinely felt bad.
he assured you it was alright, but you still insisted you buy his drink for him to make up for it. he agrees, knowing it would make you feel better about the situation.
you buy his drink (and yourself another one, being careful this time) and decide to sit by him. he tells you his name is lucifer, expecting you to judge. but you don’t. you both talk and find out you have similar interests, including music.
you exchange numbers and decide to keep talking. while you guys didn’t talk all the time because he was a busy man, it was still enjoyable when you did. you guys talked three times a week, and went out for coffee/drinks twice a month.
you noticed at one of you’re coffee/drink meets that he looked tired, and he said he stays up a bit late doing paper work. you managed to convince him to go to bed earlier and to not put so much weight on himself.
to the brothers surprise, it worked. they noticed how he went to bed earlier. he also was on his DDD more and looked less tired and a bit… happy??
when they asked how, he refused to say anything.
you guys became close friends and your three times a week talks became little conversations everyday.
he even told of his six brothers, and how much of a pain they were to deal with. you just laughed at his grumpiness.
one day when you were about to text lucifer about your day so far, you got sucked into a portal. you fell infront of a redhead.
he explained how you had been chosen for the exchange program. he expected you to be scared but you were more fascinated.
he then passed it down to his raven haired friend. a raven haired man you’d recognize anywhere.
“lucifer?” you’re surprised sure, but honestly the fact that his name was lucifer was a dead giveaway.
“hello mc.” he smiles, and the brothers that are present in the room find it very… surprising.
it wasn’t one of his usual sadistic or annoyed smiles, this was a genuine smile.
a genuine smile, all for you. :)
(he’s so mean I just want him to be sweet and loving towards me bro </3)
You're Odio sorry on Kuai Liang x reader gave me feels bc I know the feeling of watching someone you have feelings for love someone else, leaving you to wonder what you could've done better to receive their love.
You should do a part 2 where reader finally finds love again and moves on with someone else (Smoke, Syzoth, Kenshi, etc.) which awakens something in Kuai Liang that made him realize that he also loves you but now he must live with his choices?
Recházame
Prior notes: WOAH! Did not expect someone to request something! I’m glad you enjoyed it (I think I hope i didn’t awaken something painful)! Sorry I am posting this late I had classes before and they all have a no technology policy :P so I could not sneak in more work. But I hope this is what you wanted I’m sorry if it isn’t I tried!
Pairing: Tomas x Gn Reader, Kuai Liang
Warnings ‼️: More Angst I fear.
Heartbreak can feel like an eternity. Watching someone you loved for so long be wedded to another. You’re left wondering what you could have done differently. And right now you were sulking in your quarters again with the same thing playing over and over in your head. Seeing Kuai Liang holding and kissing Harumi on their wedding day.
Your sulking was interrupted when you heard a knock on the door. What now?
“Who is it?” You answered back in a strained voice.
“It’s me, grandmaster. You have a visitor. It’s…Tomas.” Your second-in-command answered back.
Your heart stopped beating for a second. Why would Tomas be coming over?
“Bring him in.” You said before wiping your tears away.
They opened the door to let Tomas in. He walked in with a soft expression, as if not to scare you away from talking to him. He had a little box with him. A gift for you. If Kuai Liang couldn’t get close to you maybe Tomas could.
“Hello…grandmaster.” He struggled to call you that. You were his friend but he found it best to stay professional right now.
“Please, Tomas, we are friends. No need for such things.”
Tomas nodded before bringing his attention back to the gift in his hand.
“Oh, I have a gift for you. It’s from Kuai Liang. He said it was-“ He was quickly cut off when you swiped the gift out of his hands, knocking it to the ground.
You really surprised Tomas with that. Immediately you got frustrated with yourself. You cursed yourself for being aggressive with him as he wasn’t the one you hated. He’s innocent in all this and you can’t take it out on him. You took his hand into yours to apologize.
“I-I’m so sorry, Tomas. I don’t know what has gotten into me. Please…forgive me.” You started to silently weep.
Tomas just looked at you with confusion but realized you were in pain. He couldn’t tell where exactly but you were suffering. He pulled you in close and hugged you tight. His hands ran through your hair and he squeezed you with his big, strong arms. The floodgates opened and you started to cry hard. Tomas never pulled back but instead comforted you. And it stayed like that for a while. The rest of the night actually. He made you lie back down in your bed and comforted you to sleep. You cried yourself to sleep in his arms. That was the most peaceful rest you had gotten in a long while. And that’s when the healing process started.
══💤══╡°˖✧🦊✧˖°╞══💤══
Every week whenever Tomas could he would visit you and your clan. Every time he would ask how you were doing and each time you slowly got better. It was awkward at first because you felt bad for falling asleep in his arms. He didn’t mind at all, it was nice for him as well.
You managed to confess to Tomas that you had feelings for Kuai Liang for the longest time and seeing him with Harumi broke you. Tomas never judged. He understood how love can hurt someone. Make their heart that once held love be corrupted with hate. Without knowing it he was helping to fix your once loving heart.
You two would talk from day to night, night to day. You let your feelings out which was what you should have been doing in the first place. You were just scared to be vulnerable in front of your clan as they needed a strong leader. But Tomas was there to listen to you and never judge what you had to say. All the negative emotions left your body and soon your body was filled with love again. Love not for Kuai Liang but for Tomas. And his heart filled up with love for you.
Your clan was more welcoming to him than they were with Kuai Liang. He made their grandmaster whole again. You smiled more. You laughed more. You even apologized to your clan for being negative which they quickly forgave you. They just want you to be happy now.
It was awkward at first because you both didn’t know how to confess it to each other. You guys ain’t experts in this. But you had to be the brave one and say something. On a night where you two were in your room alone you spoke up.
“Listen, Tomas, I want to thank you again for helping me out. I was in a really bad place and I thought I’d never get out of it.” You said.
“Of course! How could I leave someone as special as you to suffer? I would hate for someone like you to stop being so sweet, precious, dare I say even lovable.” He chuckled softly before placing his hand on top of yours.
Well if that ain’t flirting you don’t know what Tomas was doing. What you do know is that it made your heart flutter and your cheeks burn once again. The hate is gone. There is love once more in you.
You struggled to get the words out. There was no right or wrong way to say how you felt. Words can’t express it but actions could. That’s why you practically threw yourself at Tomas. He was surprised by what you did but before he could ask what was wrong, he felt your lips against his. It was clear as the night sky what this was about. Tomas wanted the same thing so he kissed you back. There was passion and love between you that it felt like he was actually meant for you. It was never Kuai Liang. It was Tomas. Your heart belongs to him now. How sweet of an ending.
Except it isn’t. You may have forgotten Kuai Liang but he never forgot you.
══💤══╡°˖✧🦊✧˖°╞══💤══
Kuai Liang already suspected something was wrong. Tomas was keeping secrets. Even when Kuai Liang sent Tomas over to talk to you he acted like nothing happened when that wasn’t the truth. There were nights where Tomas wasn’t in his bed and would show back up in the morning as if it was all normal. It only got worse after the night you and Tomas kissed. Kuai Liang had no clue where he was going.
The answer hit him like a bullet one night.
Kuai Liang was making sure the Shirai Ryu grounds were safe. He was lost in thought before looking up to the full moon. His eyes widened when he saw something unusual. A silhouette that looked like you. No, not a silhouette, it was you! You were there talking to Tomas.
Kuai Liang was about to call out to you. Say how happy he was to see his best friend again. How he has been fighting to see you again after his wedding. Wonder why you ever turned nasty. But he stopped once he saw something he would never imagine would happen.
He watched as you embraced Tomas and kissed him in the moonlight. Tomas’ hands wrapped around your waist and pulled you close. This couldn’t be right. His brother and his best friend…why is he feeling this way.
Kuai Liang never felt something so painful in his heart. Not even when Bi-Han admitted that he let their father die was this pain in his heart so great. It was a mixture of anger, sadness, and even disgust. Seeing his own brother hide the fact that he was seeing you all this time. How his lips were on yours and his arms were wrapped around you. This had to be some sort of joke. What a sick joke if it was one.
He couldn’t speak. He just stared at you and Tomas making out in front of him. He felt such strange urges. To take you away from his brother right this instant. To push his brother away from you. To yell at you about what you were doing. He didn’t even realize he was grinding his teeth. He just had to walk away at this point.
Even when Kuai Liang went back to the Shirai Ryu temple there was this negative energy going around. A man who never raged like a forest fire was randomly bursting into flames. Patches of fire danced across his skin as he made his way back to his bedroom. Even Harumi was unsure what was happening to her husband. He wasn’t saying a word.
The other clansmen notified Tomas of what was going on with his brother. Even the young Hanzo was confused by the grandmaster’s rage. He went to Kuai Liang’s room which Harumi let him in, leaving the two men to themselves.
“What’s the matter? Why are you bursting into flames.” He asked with concern.
“When were you going to tell me you two were seeing each other? Do you find it right to hide such secrets from your brother.” Kuai Liang questioned with such a cold tone that it contrasted with his fiery outbursts.
Tomas froze up. That’s why he is reacting like that? He knew it was wrong to hide what was going on but he was simply protecting you. You were the one who was hurting the most to the point you changed in a negative way.
“I would have told you when they were ready.” Tomas responded.
“I sent you over to speak to them. I sent a gift. What ever happened to the gift, huh?!”
“They didn’t want it! That doesn’t mean they hate you. I’ve been helping them-“
“Kissing is helping? The man I trusted the most goes around kissing someone I love as if you truly love them.” Kuai Liang didn’t even realize what he said, but Tomas did. That’s why he grabbed his brother by the arms.
“I do love them! And your love belongs to your wife, remember?” Tomas responded which made Kuai Liang’s blood run cold.
That’s right. His wife Harumi. The one he ran to in a time of need as if she were the only option. Never even thinking of you as an option. And now he wants to see you as an option? When someone else has your heart and healed it?
Tomas let go of his arms before walking out of the room. That whole confrontation only fanned the fires and Kuai Liang is left to his own mind. A mind that festered with the thought of what you and Tomas were doing all this time.
Did he kiss you all the time? Does he hold you close? Was he with you on those nights when Kuai Liang couldn’t find them. Where had his lips been? Was Tomas your first in bed!? Oh heavens! He couldn’t stand the thought of that being true.
Tomas could never treat you right. He could never kiss you in such a way that would make you giggle or blush instantly. He could never make you smile just by picking you up and twirling you around. His hands could never make you feel wonderful things in the dead of night before caressing you to sleep. Kuai Liang felt like the only person who could ever do that was…him.
What was wrong with him? He’s married now. You’re in a relationship. This is just wrong. It’s all gone wrong.
He loves Harumi, he would never think about being unfaithful. But it was only now that he realized he loves another. It was you.
Kuai Liang could never rip you away from Tomas. He’s seen that there is chemistry between you and him. It would be wrong of you to be unfaithful as well. So what can be done? Well, you must reject each other. You can’t accept each other’s love. Especially now when your love for him may be gone already. It hurts but he must accept the pain. If he carried on with it he will end up suffering, and in a way so will you.
You love another, no more hatred. Kuai Liang will have to live with his decision. He wasn’t wrong or right. Neither were you. It’s just how love works.
After notes: Once again sorry if this ain’t what you wanted, I did my best. I’m not the best at angst for this was my first go. I didn’t even have a part two in mind but my brain went into overdrive when I saw the idea. Anyways thanks for the request! Adiós!
pls reblog!
taglist: open! just comment to be added!
a/n: I had a dream of this (not with the members) & I wanted to write it out, also got a bit inspired by “Marry My Husband” but it’s a completely different plot.
preview:
“san i can’t be letting you back in every time things go sideways with her, i'm done being the second choice.”
“i’m done. goodbye san.”
those were the last words L/N Y/N had told me after i chased after her out of the school, and being the idiot i was i just stood there watching her walk away from me towards yunho, one of my best mates. since when did they become close? but those were the last of my worries. i had just lost my childhood best friend because i was too blinded to show this school i was the best at everything by going after the most sought out girl of the school hyerin. when i should’ve gone for y/n. she always stood by my side, never once showed me disloyalty, and always picked me up anytime hyerin shooed me off for her other boy toys. she never once judged me for my ways and i took her kindness and love for granted.
now im left here alone with no hyerin in sight, probably making out with jaehyun, and my mates are probably having the time of their life’s at the dance with no clue that i had lost y/n.
while watching her enter yunho's car my mind was yelling at me to go after her. but i couldn’t, i had been selfish for too long. i knew she needed me to let her go so she could move on.
but that also meant i had to move on but how could i move on with life when i had lost the best thing that i could ever have in life.
watching yunho's car pull out the parking lot, i decided that one last time i wanted to be selfish. so i chased after the car. not noticing how i ended up on the main road, not noticing how a car was coming towards me until it hit me.
i flew back and laid on the road while looking at the night sky, i wanted to scream at the universe for doing this to me. when in reality i should’ve been yelling at myself for being stupid, and oblivious.
the pain from the impact of the car started invading my whole body. it hurts. everything. mentally and physically.
i closed my eyes hoping someone or something would come and take this pain away from me. not just from the impact but from my heart as well.
i heard sirens and people rushing towards me, but i also heard someone saying my name over and over again. but i couldn’t open my eyes. until someone shook my body forcefully.
then i got up like i had just woken up from a nap. looking around trying to find out who was shaking me rather than helping me. then i noticed i wasn’t on the road, it wasn’t night time, and there was no car.
rather i was on a field under a tree next to a building that looked like our university. what the fuck.
“san!”
i looked forward to the person in front of me calling me.
“y/n?” but this was not my y/n i could tell from the very different clothes she was wearing and her hairstyle was completely different. it seemed like a hairstyle that would be done in the 1950s.
“come on, we’re gonna be late!” she pulled me up and started fixing my leather jacket. wait when was i wearing this. where am i?!
while I was lost in my thoughts i heard a group of people calling me towards the entrance of the school. wait is that?
“come on san we don’t want to get yelled at by Ms. Lisa again hurry up!” hongjoong?
it was all my friends, but it wasn’t at the same time? since when did we all start wearing matching leather jackets? but before i can question anyone y/n pulled me towards them.
“lover boy is gonna miss his chance to talk to hyerin before class.” i turned too wooyoung, who was snickering, but i was too focused on his appearance. he didn’t have his oreo hair as he liked to call it, his hair was all black with an undercut. when did he have time to do that? before i could turn to y/n to ask her what’s going on i was being pushed towards the door, following the rest of the boys, while i had time to look around the area i looked at the backs of my mates and some of there side profiles. they all had their hairs gelled back, even jongho who preferred the boyfriend style. what stood out to me the most was the leather jackets we were all wearing had ‘ATEEZ’ in big white letters with 3 motorcycles below it. they all look like they had just came out a greaser movie with this style they all had. wait… y/ns style of clothing along with my mates. am i in a different timeline..? no that can’t be.
to further prove my theory, i turned to y/n.
“y/n, what’s the date?” she looked at me weirdly.
“it’s march 29?” she said as if it was the most obvious answer. “no, what year are we in?”
“san are you ok? did you hit your head? you’re acting really weird”
“who’s acting weird?” wooyoung turned around to look at us. “san, he’s asking what year we’re in.”
wooyoung only chuckled, “he's probably just nervous because hyerin is going out with him this weekend, san it’s 1955 you bimbo. now loosen up don’t want to scare hyerin off.”
i stopped in my place. “it’s 1955!?” everyone turned to me. “aye san you sure you good?” i turned to yunho with a look that screams ‘do i look good to you?’
“oooookaayy, i’m gonna take this one to Lee before class, we will catch up to you guys later.” y/n waved to everyone while pushing me towards a different door.
what the actual fuck is going on.
Day 28
Prompt: Degradation
Pairing: Copia/Reader
Tags: degradation, spanking
Notes: as much as i love imagining copia as super suave, i also think he is a massive, lovey-dovey dork
“Y-yeah? You like that?” Copia runs his hand over the pink spot forming on your ass, soothing the tender flesh. You nod, moaning as you use the hands you have planted on the bed to push yourself back into him.
“Again,” you beg after a moment of inaction. It’s more of a command, really. His pace falters for a fraction of a second.
“I- Yeah, okay.” You can hear him take a deep breath before he smacks your ass again. It’s a little harder this time — he’s learning. “That feel good? You… You little slut?” The next stroke of his cock is angled just right, tapping that certain, sweet spot. You gasp, an electric jolt running own your spine.
“Hurts so good,” you moan, trying to prompt him. “Want your marks all over me, baby.”
He forces a cocky laugh. “Oh, yeah? You want me to, eh, claim you? Make you my little… my little pain-whore?” He cringes audibly, motions halting completely. “Sorry, that was terrible.” Your heart pangs, hearing the nervous tremble in his voice. Copia is silent for a few moments, though you can hear the gears in his head jamming. Finally you look back, seeing he’s hung his head.
“Are you okay?”
He sighs. “I don’t think I can do this, amore.”
“I-“ For a moment you’re at a loss for words. “Why don’t we-“ You crawl forward so that you’re no longer connected, then turn and lay back against the pillows, patting the spot next to you. “C’mere for a second.” Obediently, Copia flops down beside you, though his head is turned slightly away. Shifting onto your side, you drape your arm across his chest. “Don’t feel bad.” Judging by the look on his face, it’s a little too late for that. “What about that... doesn’t do it for you?”
His arms fold over his stomach, as if there was a weak spot to protect. “It’s stupid.” You narrow your eyebrows at him, and though his cheeks are hidden under his papal paint, his ears turn a bright red. His jaw tightens, then relaxes. “I love you. I do not want to be mean.”
You can’t help but smile. “Oh, you.” Leaning over, you press a chaste kiss to the corner of his mouth, delighting in the way he fidgets beneath you. “Always such a sweetheart.” Before you can stop yourself you cup his cheek, bringing him in so that you can capture his lips. Copia hums, his hand wandering to your hip and you congratulate yourself on the smooth recovery. Swinging a leg over his body, you pull yourself up so that you’re straddling his hips, finding him coming back to full arousal beneath you. “May I?” He nods.
“Please.” Gladly, you oblige, rising so that you can take him in hand and line yourself up. He bites his lip as you sink down, a groan rumbling deep in his chest. You start to ride him slowly, gently rocking into him, and his eyes droop shut. “That’s nice,” he breathes. “I’m sorry I-“
You silence him with a kiss, taking one of his hands and bringing it to your breast. Copia’s hips buck up into yours as he fondles it, feeling its weight.
“Don’t apologize, baby.” You press your forehead to his. “You just can’t help being so sweet.”
For Futa Jackalope really did just turn to camera and say chicken says what. Like he called the audience cowards. Too afraid to judge Futa because it would mean judging themselves.
Jackalope was on it. This end of trial report he hit all the right notes- He was in all the right places. He saw the audiences weaknesses and he hit them over and over.
He said you had your fun sowing lets chat before the reaping starts and he went in.
Like damn no remorse.
"Or……maybe you just couldn’t bring yourself to find him “guilty”, because he reminded you too much of yourself……I’m just blabbing."
Even down to highlighting the faceless Futa showing that he could easily be any of us as he said it. Jackalope said,
"I take no prisoners; you will see an ending before the end. It will be shaped like every door you did not open and every life you did not live. Then in the face of your doubts you will keep walking forward because where you came from no longer exists. Time has an insatiable appetite and we are all on it's menu. Hahaha I'm such a kidder."
Back to what he really said and the thing that intrigues me the most. Jackalope throughout the second trial report kept highlighting that despite finding Kotoko guilty we proved through our verdict that her actions do work.
By finding everyone who she attacked/threatened Innocent. This continues the trend of Kotoko jumping on any sign of agreement to get to the conclusion she wants to end up at. That being her methods are correct. So just because we found her guilty doesn't necessarily mean we found her methods wrong.
The way Jackalope interprets the guilty prisoners change in verdict may be exactly how Kotoko will view it herself.
"But, to put it another way, if this is because he showed remorse, you could also say his “innocent” verdict was thanks to the actions of Kotoko Yuzuriha, right?"
Cuz think about it…….who knows how he would have acted without the pain, right?
Q.04 Would you make the same mistake again?
Futa: I don’t think so. I don’t think I could take this kind of pain again.
Q.07 What have you been into lately?
Futa: Finding a way to distract myself from the pain.
Well next up Kazui~
He’s a self-admitted liar, have you been able to solve the mystery?
Well given the little amount of information provided in contrast to Jackalope's statement on Yuno... I would have to say we haven't. Instead Jackalope just reiterates things that Es brought to attention in Kazui's second voice drama.
Not mentioning anything about cheating or marriage in the slightest.
Again very interesting in comparison to Yuno who Jackalope admits told us what she did herself without ever really honing in on what part of what she told us should be considered.
Just stating,
"She said it herself, so her crime became quite clear, hasn’t it? And that crime didn’t raise to the level of murder to you, I take it. Interesting. I guess that’s how it is in your era."
Yet in Yuno's second trial interrogation she said a lot of things. Including dismissing the audience previous judgments on her and the guards desire to project a sob story onto her.
Yuno Second Trial Interrogation
This situations bothersome-ness has won out./I won't be bothered.
"So, I am extremely cooled off." (-273.15°C) "That is all."
"That’s the real Yuno Kashiki, you could say. Cold and logical. Practical and unromantic. Getting her to interact is gonna be a heavy lift, I’d say."
"You want to make clear the truth...huh? Fu... Haha!"
"The result of doing looots of sugar-daddying: ...abortion."
...!
"That's probably my murder. Well, please go ahead and partake of the truth."
...
"How is it? Satisfied? Then, can we be done already?"
Yuno...you...
"You don't surprise much, do you? As I thought, you knew it from the song extraction."
Cold and Logical
Well, yes. As one possibility, I thought it was likely. That, going by Milgram's scope of interpretation for murder, it was possible.
"I'm sure. Well, I generally got the sense that that's how it was. I could feel it."
You could feel it...you say?
"I can hear it, while I'm in Milgram. It's probably the same for everyone else."
Practical and unromantic.
"Voices peeking in, digging around, and discussing my sins."
Interesting that she uses sins plural here not singular. Didn't note this previously but probably should have.
Something like that...
"Are those not the thoughts you were having? Not that I would know."
But you get my point Jackalope's end of trial report on Yuno confirms that what she said in her second interrogation was in fact the truth and nothing but it. However, he speaks very little on how we interpreted what we were told in contrast to other prisoners.
Just making a sweeping statement,
Interesting. I guess that’s how it is in your era.
But he does ponder an interesting thing,
"I wonder though, what decides the worth of a life?"
Playing on the abortion debate that her trial turned into before plainly asking,
"……don’t tell me, did this murder seem smaller to you than the murders of the other prisoners? Thought-provoking!"
Again playing on the idea the fans have ran with that Yuno should not even be here because she hasn't committed murder like the other prisoners. He says a lot and not that much while discussing Yuno but Jackalope's statements on her can be used to further scrutinize what's not said about Kazui.
Like I said he basically confirms Yuno was in fact telling the truth throughout her second voice drama but doesn't mention any of what was brought up in Kazui's outside of reiterating Es' points.
Of Kazui being a liar and self-pitying going as far as to call him emo and even praise us for being so accommodating to him despite his woe is me routine.
Jackalope even comments that he can't bring himself to be interested in Kazui,
"It all feels very emo and I can’t bring myself to be very interested in him, but the fact that you’re so accommodating to him, is commendable."
However, he reiterates another point one that he brought up from the beginning that directly contradicts a statement that Kazui made in his second voice drama,
"He’s the only one who has the strength to fight off Kotoko and Mikoto after all."
Kazui states in his second voice drama that if Kotoko and Mikoto were to team up that would be the end of him and Milgram. Contradicting Jackalope's statement in Es' voice drama that if Milgram were an all out brawl then Kazui would come out victorious.
So Jackalope basically goes he's still lying have you figured out what the lies are and then just goes here's one of them for free.
Now onto the other interesting one- Amane.
Amane's is interesting because Jackalope basically goes her life would be this way in and out of Milgram. Showing that his focus with Amane is not us being tricked into going easier on her because she's a child but a desire for the audience to go harder on her because she is a child.
Coddling isn't going to prepare her for the real world but neither is being unnecessarily cruel to her either. Even admitting that he himself doesn't know what made the audience find Amane innocent this time around and stating he's curious about the judgement.
Despite how vocal people said Amane fans were being- This again highlights that no, they weren't. Amane fans weren't pushing super hard or really loud. They weren't going around shouting at people to vote her innocent or bribing people to. Hell, the staff couldn't even write a decent bit for her part of the video because they don't know what caused this.
"I remember feeling a sort of awe at your resoluteness to your duties, being a kid didn’t mean you couldn’t be “guilty”, right? So, what was it that made you choose “innocent” this time? I’m very curious. Is it her, or her beliefs, or her birthright, or her fate…."
Whatever the circumstances may be, she is the one that has to bear the blame. That’s just how it is. Both in and out of MILGRAM, isn’t that right?
They were wrong for highlighting the tasing scene like this again. They went I'm about to make you feel bad if you voted this kid guilty fucking suffer rip to you I guess- you are the problem. Like there was no joking here Jackalope looked at the camera and went,
Jackalope: This is just how it is everywhere. Your vote won't change that. It won't lessen the weight of the blame on her shoulders. In or outside of Milgram.
The “It can’t be helped”, from the scum that can’t be helped. That makes them doubtlessly, clearly, absolutely, unequivocally, beyond any doubt, categorically, emphatically, GUILTY.
Then just went to Mikoto like that shit was nothing like it didn't just destroy my soul.
That concludes my fucked up things from the end of trial two report.
Before it's too late
Nacho Varga x gn!reader
Fandom - Better call Saul
Yoo! I haven't posted in ages, been feeling down and mentally exhausted 😭 Also been writing on my very own novel for a school project AHHH Basically been writing, procrastinating, writing, etc etc... But so far so good!
Now then... ✨Angst time✨
Pairing: Nacho Varga x gender neutral reader Genre: Angst, hurt/comfort Warning(s): BCS SPOILERS! Based on s4e3 “Something Beautiful”. Major character injury. Mentions of death and violence. Blood. Guns and bullet wounds. Cuss words. Mentions of surgery. Reader is gender-neutral and has they/them pronouns Words: 1.6K Summary: Based on s4e3, in which Nacho gets shot by Victor and is left in the desert. After being saved by the Cousins, reader rushes to the vet office to see him. English is not my main language, if I make any spelling mistakes please let me know so I can improve my writing! <3 || AO3 link || Masterlist || Request ||
The sun is burning in Albuquerque today, making the concrete and highways threateningly warm. It’s an early morning and will only get hotter. The streets are empty and people are either sleeping safely in their beds or avoiding the burning morning-light. It’s a perfect day to stay in the shadows or - for those who have the option - close to the fresh breeze from the AC.
Not everyone has that option.
But bleeding to death in the desert is a rare case, too.
This is how I die.
Nacho thinks. He’s lost track of time. The man is lying on his side, facing away from the sun and hoping it will protect him from a sunburn. It’s the last thing he needs right now.
The wounded shoulder is enough. His hands are bloody and so is the warm sand he is facing.
Dehydration and blood loss. - That was not the way he thought he’d go down.
If it weren’t for the sharp pain in his shoulder - that’s slowly spreading throughout every inch of his body - he’d feel angry and humiliated.
Gus and his men left him to bleed out in the middle of nowhere. The damn Chicken Man.
Arturo is dead.
Nacho? About to join Arturo in the afterlife.
His mind is bitter and he’s losing the battle of patience.
“Do it quick, before you pass out” - That was the words of Gus’ lap dog, Victor. He was quick. Directly after he was left bleeding, he dialed the number to them. The Cousins.
Where are they?
He’s lost count if it's been days, hours or minutes since he got shot. All he knows is that he is slowly going insane. The sun burns his neck and he lets out a grunt, opening and closing his dry mouth. There's a taste of iron on his tongue due to his dry, chapped lips.
Water. His vision gets blurry and with gloomy eyes he looks at the wet, red sand under him.
They’re not coming. Those fuckers aren’t on their way.
I’m dead.
The realization hits Nacho, fueling the pain he’s already feeling.
Dad.
Guilt washes over him. What will happen to his dad if he dies? That, and…
He whispers your name hoarsely.
You. His beautiful partner. The one who’s always been by his side, the only one that knows about and doesn’t judge him for his fucked up choices and his chaotic life. The person he’s been so distant and cold towards lately. Worst part is…
They have no idea how much I love them.
“I love you” - A sentence yet to be said. So many emotions are left unspoken, so many things left unsaid.
Without thinking or caring about the consequences, Nacho reaches for his phone. With shaky, bloody hands, he dials your number and listens to the waiting tone.
“Ignacio?” A soft voice filled with concern says. Nacho smiles.
“Did I wake you up?”
“Yea… But don’t worry. What’s up, Nacho?”
The silence lingers. What the hell is he supposed to reply?
“I gotta tell you something.”
“Nacho… What is going on? Are you ok?”
“No… But listen, mi amor.”
“Ignacio…-”
“I love you.” Silence again. His voice cracks from the emotions “...I love you so fucking much.”
“Why does it feel like you’re saying goodbye?”
“...Because I am.” His voice is barely a whisper anymore. “Take care of my father for me, will you?”
Your voice breaks on the other line.
“Where are you?”
No reply. You realize it’ll stay that way. He is too stubborn to let you help him. As if accepting defeat, you break apart.
“Don’t cry, mi vida…” He whispers.
“Please don’t die. Please.”
I promise. Nacho wants to reply. But the last thing he wants to do right now is give you false hope. So he stays quiet. His ears are ringing and he wonders how he still has blood left in his body.
“I’m sorry.”
“I love you, Ignacio. I love you…”
He smiles in relief. That was all he needed to hear.
It’s all said and done and now he can at least die with some peace.
“And I love you.”
He hangs up.
When a character faces death in movies, they see their life flash before their eyes.
A cliche. Nacho thought up until now.
He envisions the few happy and peaceful moments he’s had in life. Most of them involve his dad Manuel, and you. The first date, first kiss, first time…
Maybe it’s the sun or maybe he’s actually walking into the light, when suddenly a shadow covers it. He grunts.
In the distance, he can hear two men talking to each other in Spanish. Someone lifts him from the ground.
Exhaustion catches up with Nacho and everything fades to black.
You almost kick open the door to the Veterinary Office.
How you even got the address is a miracle.
Maybe because you’ve called Nacho’s phone at least twenty times within the last hour, or maybe because they know Nacho has a partner? That seems unlikely. Nacho has made sure to keep the relationship secret from everyone, to protect you. Only people that know that he is your boyfriend are Manuel Varga and your family.
The last explanation… Maybe, somehow, Nacho’s Cartel colleagues are humane enough to let family and friends say farewell to their dying loved ones…
Apart from an elderly lady and her cat, the waiting room is empty at this time in the morning. The receptionist looks startled when she sees you. But then again you can’t judge her. With puffy and red eyes and the almost wild expression on your face it’s no wonder people are concerned. Without waiting for her to greet you, you rush to the office whilst the woman shouts after you.
Nothing can prepare you for what you see.
It’s your boyfriend - lying down half-naked on a metal table whilst the vet, Caldera, performs surgery. Two men in suits stand next to the tense vet, watching over his every move with caution. As the door shuts behind you, the three men turn to look at you. One of the twins raises their guns.
“What happened to him?!” A voice barely noticeable. The man lowers his gun as his brother mumbles something to him. The vet goes back to work and Nacho squirms on the table. They’re killing him.
You know that's not true and makes zero sense.
But what makes sense about this situation either way?
You don’t realise that you’re shouting allegations until someone grips you and drags you out of the room. Before you get kicked out of the office, a weak voice calls your name.
Nacho.
Minutes turn into hours, morning turns to day and then afternoon. You remain seated on the cold tile floor hugging your knees against your chest. The anxiety grows stronger and it feels like you’re about to drown in worry. When the door to the office finally opens, you can barely stand up.
It’s impossible to read the expression on his face. The scrubs he’s wearing are stained red. You can feel your stomach twist.
“He’s alive.”
Nacho wakes up from his feverish dreams. His mind is foggy and his eyes feel heavy. The sedatives are wearing off and his whole body aches, especially the place where the bullets penetrated his shoulder.
He is in a cold room with his bare back resting against an even colder metal table. He feels like shit. With a raspy voice, he repeats the only word he’s been able to say lately. Your name. When a warm hand intertwines fingers with him, he finally breathes out.
Your sobbing wakes him from his trance. He opens his brown eyes and looks at you through heavy eyelids and black eyelashes. He manages to give you a weak smile and in a raspy voice, he greets you.
“Hey, mi vida.”
“Hey, my love.” You reply and manage to smile through the tears. “You’re alive…”
With those words said, you burst into tears again. The cousins and Caldera look uncomfortable with the emotional outbursts and the scene between the two lovebirds.
“...Let’s give Varga and his partner some time to talk.” the vet says. He’s quick to leave and the twin men don't protest.
Once finally alone, Nacho brings a weak, trembling hand to your cheek. He feels the soft skin against his palm and feels a sense of relief. When you lean forward he doesn’t think twice before pulling you into a kiss, and then another one.
He’s alive.
“I love you. I should’ve told you earlier, I… I’m sorry.”
Your boyfriend tries sitting up and winces in pain.
“You don’t need to apologize.”
He can no longer hold back the wave of emotions. The shock of watching Arturo die, the stress Hector and his nephews have caused him, for years. The worries for his own life, but mostly for his dad, and you. It all comes crashing down. And now… Gus is a threat.
Nacho knows his life just got more complicated and a lot more dangerous.
He’ll have to tell you everything.
But for now…
He cries. He lets you hold onto him.
Nacho squeezes you close to him, to make sure you can’t slip away.
Once he’s healed, he’ll go back to duty. He’ll protect you.
But for now… He lets you protect him.
When you whisper “I love you”, he feels at peace.
You’re his shelter and his home.
Did my mentally unstable a- cry when writing this because I love Nacho so damn much?? Yes. 2am emotional damage
Salai-Chapter 6
WELCOME TO SALAI'S ROUTE. This is a FAN MADE route of my oc, Salai. This means this route contains my headcanons for the characters and in no way is suppose to represent the canon story. This is just a fun little time because I know many of you enjoy Salai. Feel free to engage, talk theories, send asks (even to @ask-salai ).
DISCLAIMER: His route his not canon to his character. Also, all of his lore in not in the route for simplicity reasons plus please feel free to ask about him.
Banner by @spooscribbles
You convinced Salai to do the gallery, and now you just need to get Theo here to help figure out which paintings he would want to display. You sit on the couch and the two of you start talking while he paints a little bit. Batuffola curls up beside you to cuddle.
Mitsuki: So who are you looking for?
Salai: My Maestro. We had a falling out years ago and he left me. He was a popular artist so we moved around to where he would get work. But we got into an argument not long after getting to Vienna.
His voice gets softer as he remembers. Taking his time almost like he isn’t trying to cry. You look at him and those eyes of his were as dark as a storm at sea. They were remembering the pain he felt.
Salai: He left me. I didn’t know the language… I barely had any money…
Mitsuki: And you are looking for him?
Salai: Yes, I-
Mitsuki: So you can tell him off
Salai: What? N-no! He means a lot to me. He saved my life, on more than one occasion. I want to make things right with him.
Mitsuki: He sounds like an awful person
Salai: It…it is hard to explain everything.
He starts to pull at the hem of his sleeves. You let out a sigh. You don’t know his story, who are you to judge? There are surely things he doesn’t feel comfortable sharing.
Salai: Once I heard he was in Paris I did what I could to get here. I haven’t been here for long and I don’t expect to find him immediately.
Mitsuki: I’m sorry. No one deserves to go through that.
Even back in your time with having technology you couldn’t imagine being stuck somewhere you didn’t know the language and didn’t have any money.
Salai: Sorry. I shouldn’t have gotten the mood down. Are you hungry? I could make us something to eat.
He’s back to smiling again, but his eyes are still dull. He might be able to change his body language and the tone of his voice but he can’t hide it in his eyes.
Mitsuki: Andrea, you don’t need to-
He gets off his stool and goes over to the little kitchen.
Salai: I made my own ravioli a few days ago, but I tend to add a lot of spices. So I could make us just a normal pasta with a cream sauce if you would like.
He’s trying to change the subject, not wanting to linger on the emotional talk you two just had. You just realized that if he’s offering to make dinner… How late is it? You look down at the watch on your wrist and it's nearly 6pm.
Mitsuki: Shoot! I need to get back.
You quickly get up, apologizing to Batuffola for disturbing her.
Mitsuki: I’m sorry, Andrea. I didn’t intend to be out so long and I need to get back to make dinner.
Salai: Oh…right… Let me walk you to the main road.
He tried to hide the hint of sadness in his voice but it didn’t work.
Mitsuki: It’s just right around the bend, right? I’m sure I’ll be fine. I really need to get going.
You didn’t want everyone worrying about you, and there was no need for him to walk you out. You may have been warned about the area but you remember where you came from.
Mitsuki: I’ll see you tomorrow maybe. Goodnight
You wave and head out. Salai hesitated for a moment, but then also realized how late it was.
Salai: Mitsuki! Wait!
He put down the pot he was holding and rushed to the door to quickly put his cape on. He wasn’t offering simply to be nice, but also because it's dangerous. It’s like you completely forgot.
You quickly went down the stairs and out the door. Once you stepped outside you remembered where you were. You are close to what you thought was the red light district. Maybe if you just walk quickly and pay attention to no one you will be fine. Yeah. That will work. It wasn’t that far from the main road.
You start walking, picking up your pace as you walk past alleys. Just as you are about to turn the corner your arm gets grabbed
Man: Where do you think you’re headed?
Mitsuki: Get off me!
You start to panic. You really should have waited. You try to push the man away.
Man: If you weren’t looking for someone then what are you doing in this area
The man holds you against a wall.
Man: Aren’t you a cutie
Salai: Let her go!
Your eyes lit up when you heard that voice.
Mitsuki: Andrea!
Man: Sorry fella. Finders keepers.
Salai: I said let her go!
He got a lot angrier. Next thing you knew Salai was grabbing the man by his shoulder and ripping him from you. The man is much bigger than Salai, you aren’t sure how he pulled that off, but that isn’t what is in the front of your mind right now.
Salai: Are you hurt?
In a panic he quickly looked over your body and didn’t see anything and let out a sigh of relief. Then turned around to face the man who was coming at him to punch him. He ducked at the swing and punched the man in the gut, and as he was doubled over he kicked his foot up into his jaw.
You moved to the side, watching the fight play out. The man pulled out a knife and started slashing it in the air. Salai moved back each time but eventually got a wall to his back. The man went to slash at him again, and by some instinct you ran over to hold onto the man’s arm to stop him. Salai took that opportunity to grab the man’s head and slam it into the wall.
He fell to the ground groaning. Salai stepped on his hand to make him drop the knife and kicked it away.
You took a few steps back to catch your breath.
Mitsuki: I-I’m sorry. I-I wasn’t thinking and I-
Salai suddenly hugged you, holding you close to him.
Salai: You’re okay and that’s what is important
He didn’t let you go for a while. He wanted to keep you safe in his arms. When he finally let you go, he happened to see your arm.
Salai: You’re bleeding!
He lifts your arm. When you grabbed the man’s arm the blade of the knife must have slashed you. You’re filled with so much adrenaline that you didn’t even feel it.
Salai: Come on. Let’s get that bandaged.
He takes your hand and walks you back to his apartment. When you first got here you couldn’t help but notice how run down of an area he lived in, but when you had to go you somehow forgot about that. The front door didn’t seem to close all the way when he ran out but when he got up to his apartment he realized he never grabbed his keys.
Salai: Crap… I didn’t grab my key
Mitsuki: do you maybe-
You looked around to see if there was a place he might have hidden a spare, but you look at him and he’s kneeling down, picking the lock to his own apartment.
Mitsuki: Or..do that.
Within seconds he has the door open and helps you inside. Batuffola is there at the door to greet you both.
Salai: yes, hello bella.
He takes you over to his bed and has you sit there.
Salai: stay right there.
The bathroom was on this side of the room. He turned to go in there and grab a few things.
Now that you are starting to calm down you are starting to feel the pain. There’s not a lot of blood, but there is enough. He comes back with a damp rag and some bandages. He uses the rag to clean up the blood and to put pressure on it to stop the bleeding.
Mitsuki: He didn’t hurt you, did he?
Salai: Me? No, I'm fine.
He pushed his hair back and out of his face.
It’s quiet for a few more moments other than Batuffola purring.
Mitsuki: How did you learn how to fight like that?
Salai: I’ve been in quite a few bar fights actually. I’ve cut it close a few times.
Mitsuki: Really? What for?
Salai: Just stupid things.
He takes the rag off of your arm and you let out a hiss. The bleeding has slowed down so he wraps your arm in the bandage.
Salai: I know you said you needed to get back, but why don’t you stay here for the night? If you need me to come with you in the morning to explain what happened so you don’t get in trouble I will. I just don’t think you should be out there right now.
He didn't realize it, but he rested his chin on your lap, and looked up at you as he pleaded. Nor did you realize that you brushed your fingers through his hair.
Mitsuki: You don’t need to come with me, I won’t get in trouble.
Both of your movements seemed to be natural. Salai finally stands up, wanting to take the bloody rag back to the bathroom, but Batuffola was next to him and he didn’t realize, and tripped over his own feet, falling forwards on top of you.
You fall onto your back onto the bed. Salai stopped himself from falling onto you completely by having his hands on either side of you. You felt your face get flushed. It’s not like he was any closer than before, but it’s the position that you are in. Your heart is pounding, and your chest feels tight. This can’t possibly be the feeling you think it is.
Do you have feelings for him?
LETS GO rambling and analysis time now that I finished part one
MAJOR MAJOR spoilers under the cut
KAI
NOOOOO how is he gonna get out??? I will say him as the first to use rising dragon felt extremely deserved, I clapped and cheered during that fight scene. but now he’s stuck in the netherworld with the remaining forbidden five and that’s scary.
I teared up seeing Nya activate her rising dragon style in her grief for him. in the next part she’s gonna find out Jay forgot who she is too… so much heartache for Nya 😞
Really enjoyed Bonzle in these episodes as well, learning about her origin of being a spell, her journey of discovering herself as a person and finding a found family :’) at least she’s with Kai now….
and I’ve felt terrible for Lloyd every episode. him getting slammed by those visions constantly, unexpectedly, even in the middle of a fight which sends him spiraling, that’s so rough :((
It’s obvious they’re a representation of panic attacks/he has developed a canon panic disorder- like Lloyd literally says it at one point. they happen suddenly, give anxious fear about present and future events, he gets scared about having another one so he tries to cope by not sleeping (unhealthy coping method) and is taught later on to try accepting the feelings and ride it out which is a way irl therapists teach. good to see some more exploration of mental health in this show!! I’m glad the other characters are taking notice and trying to help too in the ways they can
…speaking of mental health, Arin has been interesting to watch. he’s reading to me more as an autistic-coded character lately (like that line about not understanding social cues???) and we’ve been seeing lots more negative self-esteem issues and insecurity from him in these episodes. him making mistakes during the training sessions, getting scolded, then closing himself off was hard to watch
How Sora decided to hide the truth about Arin’s “object spinjitzu” that saved the day at the very end so he would feel proud of himself for achieving something hurt my heart. she is such a sweet friend who wants her bestie to be happy and feel proud of himself but like- keeping secrets is gonna have consequences down the line. especially when we all know this is a touchy subject for Arin right now. it’s just painful to see how deeply Arin’s self-worth is tied to what he’s capable of doing, what he can and cannot do for the ninja team. he can’t use elemental power he can’t do spinjitzu properly, he’s already insecure so how would he feel to find out ppl are lying to his face so he can feel happier? he’s a string that’s gonna snap one day and judging from that beatdown moment with Lord Ras it’s not going to be pretty. I sense some sort of villain arc approaching for our son
(someone send these people to therapy they’re so traumatized)
In another news: Cole and Geo gay love! homosexuals! maybe a QPR! I don’t care whatever it is, it’s clear they love each other
And it certainly wouldn’t be a ninjago season without the destiny’s bounty crashing and burning <333 was also nice seeing Jay for 10 seconds again <3333
Now my current question is what’s the source dragon tournament thing Lord Ras’ master is talking about??? tournament?? 👀 it’s basically implied that master is a source dragon or a being that rivals their power
can’t wait for the next part to release agugugsjkhkdbqjdpgsiduggjneosgktnalfhdiqkwkfjfialwkg
Burn out
❀ ✧༺ ✩ ༻∞ ❀✿**✩**✿❀ ✧༺ ✩ ༻∞ ❀ ✧
A/N: so this is my first time doing something like this so go easy on me. Idk if yall know anything about shifting but this is a scenario I came up with for my DR. I decided to turn it into a story…because why not 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️ hopefully yall like it I’m planning on doing more stuff like this
This is set in a reality where Draken owns D&D Mikey, Koko, Inupi work there and shinichiro is the manager. I added a few OC’s that are in my DR also.
(I apologizing for any spelling, punctuation, or grammar mistakes I really tired 😭😭😭 but other than that I hope you enjoy🩵🩵)
❀ ✧༺ ✩ ༻∞ ❀✿**✩**✿❀ ✧༺ ✩ ༻∞ ❀ ✧
It was a normal day at D&D; Koko was in the front working the reception area, Mikey surprisingly was actually working on a bike in the back instead of messing around like usual, same with Inupi, and Draken who both were also working on their own bikes.
Usually Shinichiro was also around doing something or the other, but today was his much needed day off. I was in the back with the boys at a table not to far from where Ken was.
I was working on my laptop with a pair of my favorite overhead headphones on. I usually use them wireless, but since the battery had just died I had to use them plugged in. I had the left side off my ear just in case one of them needed me.
Usually I wouldn’t even be back here when they’re working, but surprisingly it’s a slower day, and I really just wanted to be near Ken.
We haven’t been able to spend much time together lately because of our work schedules. Actually this is the first time in weeks I’ve gotten to see him in person instead of over FaceTime.
I’ve been stressed out the last few weeks getting prepared for a festive tour me and my best friends/bandmates are participating in. It’s been constant rehearsals, last minute setlist changes, wardrobe fittings, and more.
Don’t get me wrong I’m excited for everything that’s happening this is the first time our group has ever performed something this big before, it feels like a dream, but everything that glitters isn’t always gold.
“Mamas” I looked up when I heard Ken call out to me.
“Hmm” I replied back giving him my full attention
“You see that red tool box on the right of you? Can you hand it to me?” I nod turning towards it. Once I had it in hand I go to get up so I can bring it to him forgetting that I had my headphones plugged in causing my laptop to fall off the table, and drop to the ground.
“FUCCCCK” I yelled dropping the tool box back onto the table to pick up my computer. Mikey, and Inupi both turned towards me because of the crash, and my loud outburst. Once I had the computer back on the table I tapped on a few keys to see if anything would happen, but my screen stayed black.
I started getting frustrated, which resulted into me whining. Now I’m not a crier, it takes a lot to make me even shed a few tears (A/N: detachment is a bitch always try to feel your feelings/emotions when you can) but in that moment I could feel myself about to burst. I slammed my laptop shut, threw my headphones off, and put my face in my hands.
All of a sudden everything really just hit me; the stress, the long nights, and early mornings, the aching pain my body is in from rehearsal, and now my computer that mind you; has all my work on it. All of the burn out begins to settle in, and all I can do is silently cry into my hands.
I felt Ken’s strong arms wrap around me, and turn me into his chest. He had one arm around my waist, and the other on my head.
“I’m sorry, I don’t know why I’m crying” I said barely getting the words out
“Shhh it’s ok” he replied back in a hushed tone.“you’re burnt out, an under a lot of stress no one’s judging you for crying babe” being in his arms along with hearing, and feeling the vibration of his voice helped ground me enough to speak.
I pull away a little to look at him tears still falling down my face, he must of sent the other two away because it was just us in the back now. “All of my dreams are coming true right in front of my eyes, and I’m crying over it” I go to wipe my eyes
“I’m so grateful, and excited for everything that’s happening, but I’m so tired. I haven’t been able to sit down for less than five seconds before I have to get up, and do something else it feels like” more tears fall as I continue trying to wipe them away.
Ken grabs my wrist gently, but firmly pulling them away from my face. He moves one of his hands up to caress my right cheek, while the other hand holds onto mine.
“Mamas it’s okay to feel multiple things at once. Being grateful doesn’t mean you can’t or shouldn’t feel tried too” he says in the same low shushed tone “it’s your day off, why don’t you go upstairs, and take a nap?”
“Because its the first time I’ve gotten to see you in forever. I want to spend to with you even if that means sitting off to the side quietly” I whined to him.
“I know babe, but you need to get some rest. I’m basically done with this bike I just gotta do a few more touch ups, I’ll check with koko to see if I got anything else to do if not I’ll get off early alright?”
I nodded my head after thinking about it. He wipes away my last few tears before kissing my forehead, and tells me to go sit on the couch in the corner and wait for him to come back before he disappears to the front.
I sigh as I gather my stuff putting them back in my big fluffy black tote bag, once everything was away I walked over, and sat on the couch texting the group chat my friends an I have to let them know what happened.
Me: sooooo guess who’s laptop with all their shit just broke 😋 ✌🏾
Me: And also had a mental breakdown in front of their boyfriend and his friends 😆😆
Mya: oh nooo I’m sorry Pooh 😩😩😩
Alex: are u ok?? Do u need me to pick you up??
Jess: how?? What happened??
Me: I’m good A thanks it fell off the table now the screen is just black. I’m just tired and burnt out I’m gonna stay at Ken’s place at least for the night but I’ll keep yall posted
Alex: ok get some rest love 🩷🩷
Mya: we finally got a week off so get some rest I’m already knowing you were probably working on something before it dropped
Me: I will I promise same to yall tho I’m sure yall are feeling just as drained and burnt out as me
Me: but anyways I just wanted to let yall know what’s going on and where I’ll be tonight so no one goes filling out a missing person case
Jess: that was one time what was I supposed to do u weren’t answering your phone I was worried 😭😩
I shock my head laughing a little before turning my phone off and throwing it in my bag.
“Alright let’s go” Ken said as he walked back in from the front. “We’re leaving now? I thought you were gonna finish up the bike?” I replied back with a confused look on my face.
“I’m gonna finish it tomorrow I told you there’s not much left to do on it” he said walking over to me
“Yeah but won’t that add on to your work load for tomorrow or push you back?”
He chuckled grabbing my hand, and pulling me up from the couch “shhh you think too much little one” he said hushing me “let me worry about all of that right now my main focus is to get you upstairs” he lifted the hand he was holding up to his mouth to kiss it all while looking me in my eyes.
I gave him a tired smile, and nodded “ok, but only if you’re sure” he gave me the smallest smile while rolling his eyes, and said “I’m sure now come one dumbass”
“Watch that dumbass word, I’m not too drained to beat your ass” he laughed brushing me off as you walked towards the front “yeah aight” he said.
Koko was still behind the reception desk, but now Mikey, and Inupi were there also with him. Mikey sitting on the counter, and Inupi leaning against it.
“We’re heading out” Ken said Koko, and Inupi both nodded while Mikey jumped off the counter, and walked over towards us.
“Since you’re leaving can you bring me some food Kenny” Mikey said while giving him puppy dog eyes which Ken rolled his eyes too “no get it yourself when you go on break”
“Awww Kenny you never do anything for me…do you not love me” Mikey whined back “no” Ken said in a deadpan voice which made me giggle Mikey’s pout turned into a small smile when he heard it.
He walked toward me, and gave me an unexpected but very appreciated hug. “Hope you feel better punk” he said once he pulled away “thanks Michelangelo” I replied back with a small smile.
I waved goodbye to the other two as we left out the front door. D&D is part of a mixed used building ken lives in one of the apartments above it. Once we were inside his apartment we made our way into his bedroom to change out of our clothes from the day.
I changed into one of his shirts, and a pair of sleep shorts I keep here. While he went into the bathroom to take a quick shower.
I walked out of the bedroom already feeling more relaxed. I sat on the couch, turning the tv on to find something to watch, or at least be background noise. I finally decided on some random light hearted anime. After the day I had I just wanted something cute and light.
“You hungry?” Ken asked me after a while now out of his work attire an into some grey sweats, and a black tank top. “Mmm yeah I could eat” I said back “what do you got?”
“Not much…you wanna just order DoorDash?”
“Yeah I’m down for that lord knows I don’t have the energy to cook anything” he scoffed setting down next to me “cook? You don’t even cook, I’m the one that’s always cooking” he said
“Ummm that’s not true I cook all the time” I argued back
“Like what?”
“Like food duh” he scuffed again pulled out his phone “bullshit. What do you want?”
“Mmm I don’t know…chipotle?” He nodded sending in our usual order throw DoorDash. Once he was done with that he put his phone on the coffee table, got comfortable, and pulled my leg into his lap. He gave me a small calf and foot massage. He did all of this without even batting an eye at me all his focus was on the tv.
I couldn’t help the smile that grew on my face. I placed the remote down on the coffee table, crawled over to him, and sat on his lap. For a quick second he had a mixed look of confusion, and shock on his face, but that quickly turned into a smirk once he realized what I was doing.
Once I was in his lap he wrapped his arms around my hips to help keep me sturdy as I got comfortable. When I got fully situated I wrapped my arms around his neck, and smiled at him. He raised an eyebrow at me waiting for me to speak which made me roll my eyes, but smile even more.
“Thank you” I said “for what?” He replied back making me roll my eyes again “for being you, for caring, for loving me” I shrugged looking down because it was too hard to look him in his eyes while saying this.
“Sometimes I forget to take care of myself and you always pick up the slack for me. I appreciate, and love you so much for it” it was quite for a few minutes, I still hadn’t looked up yet, instead I chose to focus on my hands that I was fidgeting with now in my lap until he broke the silence with a scuff.
“You dumb ass, you don’t need to thank me for that” he rolled his eyes “I signed up for that when I became your boyfriend. I knew the moment I met you I’d spend the rest of my life looking out, and taking care of you even if we weren’t together as a couple I’d still do all of that and more”
I wrapped my arms around his waist, burying my face into his chest “doesn’t mean I can’t say thank you and show my appreciation though” I pulled away to look him in the eyes this time “you know I’d do the same right? Take care of you I mean, even if we weren’t together like this I’d still take care of you” he smiled and nodded “I know mamas I know” I kissed him overwhelmed with all the emotions I was feeling.
I poured all the love, happiness, and appreciation I felt for him into the kiss and he did the same. I pulled away not before giving him one last small kiss. “I love you” I said push back his black stray hairs that frame his face “love you too mamas”
I played with his hair for a little longer before punching him in his shoulder “ayyyeee the fuck was that for?!” He said not actually hurt, or mad more shocked than anything.
“I told you watch that dumbass word” I shrugged he smacked his lips and flips us over onto the couch so I was now laying on my back while he was basically on top of me “see now we really gonna have to fight” he said tickling me
“Get off of me!!!” I cried in between laughs “you too big for all of dat”
“Nah we fighting” he said back still tickling me all I could do was laugh and weakly try kicking him off me. After a little while he did eventually stop so I could catch my breath, but he was still laying on me. “Ken if you don’t get your big ass off of me”
“Nahhh I’m comfortable now”
“Comfortable my ass get up” he smacked his lips and finally sat up I gasped dramatically making him smack his lips again “dramatic ass shut up” I laughed and sat up as well “I’m tired now I need a nap”
“I bet you do” he laughed “c’mere” he said with his arms opened. “Shoot don’t gotta tell me twice” I said as I laid down in his arms “wake me up when the food is here” I said already half asleep “yeah, yeah just go to sleep I’ll wake you”
Chapter VII: Uh oh, I’m falling in love
You entered your house followed by Law, you told him he didn’t have to check your knee now but he insisted on doing it and you know how stubborn he was. You walked through the house in silence, although you could hear your heart beating loudly in your ears. Please calm down y/n, calm down.
“Change into something more comfortable, so I can check your knee and see if I can know what you got.” He spoke, taking you out of your bubble.
“Yeah… sure. I will change.” You said and disappeared from the living room.
Leaving Law completely alone. He looked around, inspecting the house, you didn’t decorate it at all. It felt quite cold, not only because there was no heater but also because despite you leaving here for almost a month already, it seemed like an empty house. You probably hadn't had time to go shopping for things you liked. But what were the things you liked? If Law started to think, he knew things about you, the typical things you learn if you play twenty questions. Things like that you liked Taylor Swift, you preferred the cold over the heat even though you were having a terrible time here due to the cold, that you loved the stars and everything that had to do with them, that you preferred strawberry ice cream to chocolate ice cream, that you said you were a cat person but you were dying of love for Bepo, that you loved reading even though you haven't lately, that you could spend hours watching series of any genre and that her dad was a dick apparently, but beyond that you haven't told him more.
Things like the fact you touch your necklace or your neck when you're nervous, that your ears turn red, that your nose wrinkles a little when you lie, that you were sarcastic, or that you seem to have a need to please others without realizing it, leaving your feelings to yourself, are things he had realized by calmly observing. But what would you like your home to look like? Would you like a minimalistic style or maybe a more rustic style? Which was your favorite color for a room?
“I’m back. Please don’t judge my pijama, it’s the best I found for you to be able to check my knee.” And Law turned around, to see you on a cute… Spider-Man pijama?
“It’s that…”
“I like superheros okay? Especially Spider-Man, it sounds cliche but I’m a nerd alright Law? Now check my knee. Please.” You said sitting down on the couch.
“I was just going to say that I liked. I was not going to make fun of you.” You nodded.
“Thank you. It’s an old pijama but was one of the warmest I had back home, so it was the best option for here.”
“Okay now let me check your knee.”
You lifted your pants and showed him your knee. He started touching it, asking if the places he touched hurt you.
“Was this scar before or after the pain started?” He said pointing at the scar that was on your knee.
“I got it when I fell.”
“So you fell?”
“Yeah… Well, they pushed me, someone pushed me and I fell and hit the curb with my knee.” You explained.
“When was that?”
“Months ago, I don’t remember exactly.” But you did, you knew exactly the day.
“Did they check you after the incident or…?”
“No, you’re the first one.”
“You should get an x-ray scanner, just in case there is something broken, which I doubt but to see if we can know what it is.” You nodded. “Unfortunately our x-ray scanner broke a couple of weeks ago and we are still waiting for them to fix it, so you will have to go to the nearby city to get it done.”
“Oh okay, no problem.”
“I will go with you.”
“You don’t have to Law.”
“I insist, besides I know some doctors there, it will be easier to get everything done.”
“Okay, good but weren’t you saying something this morning…”
“Y/n… you love to mock me right?”
“I love it.” You laughed. “But now for real, is it okay?”
“It’s okay… I will figure things out.”
“We.” You responded.
He rolled his eyes. “You’re such a stubborn.”
“Look who's talking, Mr. stubborn.”
He smiled to the floor and then looked at you, once again with his serious face. “It’s late y/n, I will leave.”
He stood up and you followed him to the door. You said goodbye and you saw him walk to his house, a few meters away from yours. You closed the door and leaned your forehead against it, you wanted to scream. Because? Because Law, it wasn't normal what the simple brushing of his fingers on your knee had caused you. Shit y/n, he was treating you like his patient and you are here fantasizing. But not only that, it's that smile at the end, damn, if Nami saw you at that moment he would be making fun of you and telling you “I told you so.”
𓈒⠀𓂃⠀⠀˖⠀𓇬⠀˖⠀⠀𓂃⠀𓈒
Law woke a bit later than he usually did that day, he took a shower and then fed Bepo, who was already sleeping at home because the weather was starting to get colder and he was a spoiled boy, like Law used to call him. He was in the middle of preparing his coffee when he heard some knocks on his door. He knew Corazon wasn’t because he was still sleeping after arriving late last night, so he figured out it would be you. He opened his front door to find you pouting in front of him.
“Why…?” Law started to speak, with a concerned tone on his voice.
“You lied.” You cut him.
He blinked “Excuse me?”
“You said it was starting to snow… but look!” You said pointing outside. “There is nothing! I think even the grass looks more green today than yesterday.”
He sighed and leaned into the door frame. “I said that snowflakes were falling, not that it was going to snow.”
“Snowflake equals snow.” You replicated. “I never saw snow okay!? I got excited when you told me there were snowflakes. I thought I was going to wake up to a completely white landscape and I woke up to this.”
“You never saw snow?”
“Yeah never, okay? Where I am from it never snows, and my mom wasn’t rich, we never went to the snow, we didn’t even have a car of our own.” You told him.
Law softly laughed at your facial expressions. “Don’t worry peachie it will eventually snow. I promise.”
“Climate change is knocking on the door and is saying that maybe not.”
“You woke up funny today? What did you have for breakfast, one of those Brook’s brownies?”
You rolled your eyes. “I’m just stating facts, maybe it doesn’t.”
“It will, it always does and if it doesn’t, then I will make sure you see the snow for the first time.”
You smiled. “Promise?”
“I promise.” He smiled back at you and you felt like you could die in that moment. “Did you eat breakfast?”
“Mmhmm… I did.” Big mistake, because Law knew right away that you were lying.
“Liar.”
“But how do you know?!” You cried
“You always bite your lip before telling the lie and then you start playing with your fingers.” He said and you were left without words. “Now c’mon let’s have breakfast.” He held your hand, making your heart skip a bit.
Law walked in front of you holding your hand and unbothered by the fact your hand was sweating like crazy. He guided you till the kitchen, where he made you sit down and wait for him to prepare breakfast. Bepo came running towards you, asking you to pet him and so you did.
“You are a good boy.” You said playing with him, while Bepo happily moved his tail.
“He really likes you.” Law said, leaving a plate in front of you.
“Thank you. And well what can I say, look at me I’m charming.”
“Sure you are. Now eat.”
You ate what Law brought you, while observing his profile. He saw reading and concentrated on whatever it was, from time to time he would reach for his coffee and drink it. You couldn’t deny it, he was good looking and the piercings on his ears were…
“You should take a picture, it will last longer.” You heard him talk.
“Fuck…” You whispered, looking down trying to hide the fact your face was probably red like a tomato.
“Peachie, come on, finish everything.”
“Why do you always call me that?” You looked at him.
“What peachie?” You nodded in response. “Whenever you are embarrassed your cheeks will turn red, similar to a peach and that’s why… I find it cute.” He said looking at you and then went back to his book.
You were left unspoken, like he always did. Stupid Law, who was making your heart race like that.
“What do you find cute Law?” You heard the voice of Corazon and you smiled.
“Good morning Corazon.” You greeted him.
“Oh y/n! Hello, how are you? It’s been some time since we saw each other. I’m glad you’re here.”
“Yeah, the restaurant it’s keeping me busy, but I’m glad I came.”
“Oh Law! What a gentleman you’re cooking for y/n. But nothing for your old man.” He cried and you laughed at Corazon’s face.
“Cora-san…” Law rolled his eyes.
“I’m kidding, I can do it myself. You two love birds can keep talking, pretending like I’m not here.” With that Law choked on his own coffee and your eyes opened like plates.
“Corazon!” Law shouted.
“Oops.” He laughed.
You felt your face heat and tried to hide it behind the cup, while trying to avoid both, Law’s and Corazon’s gazer. Corazon put the topic aside and proceeded to ask you about work and the new group of friends you had made. From time to time you glanced at Law to see what he was doing and you would notice him reading. The minutes began to tick and before you realized it, Corazon was saying goodbye to the two of you to go run some errands. You were both alone at home. You picked up your breakfast plate and even though Law insisted that you didn't need to clean it, you did, Law had already been nice enough to you to make him clean your breakfast.
You still had time before going to work and honestly, a part of you didn’t want to leave at that moment. You liked Law’s presence, even if he didn’t speak much or at all, feeling him near was enough for you to feel comfortable. But the other part inside of you, was screaming to leave and that you were probably being a burden to him. You closed your eyes for a moment and then turned around to face Law, who was coming into your direction.
“I…”
“Do you want me to take you to your work?” He said, not letting you speak.
“I… there is no need.” You moved your head. “I will take the bus, like always.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah, besides I need to go home before leaving.” You pointed out. “I will be heading home, thank you for the breakfast Law. It was really nice.” He nodded and you disappeared from his gaze.
You hugged yourself, started walking, almost running back home, it was so cold outside you could feel yourself almost freezing right there. Entering the house you felt a little bit warmer but not like you did back at Law’s home. You told yourself that it was because their heaters were better than an hour, not because their house actually felt like a home.
You took a quick shower, you actually told Law no to his invitation to take you to the town because you needed to call your mom and didn’t want to explain Law your whole trauma and past. It was hard enough telling Nami back then and you didn’t want to bother Law with it. You would end up being a mess, with your whole face red from crying and you didn’t want him to see you like that, not again.
Thirty minutes later I was already putting the coin in the crack to call your mother, it was Sunday so I would be at home with Kelly and David. You smiled as you thought about the Saturdays you used to spend together, how you played with Kelly and David and your mother would hang out together or when the three of you would play board games in the afternoon. Your heart skipped a beat thinking about it and you held the phone tighter in your hand, trying to stop yourself from crying. Part of you wanted to go back, hug your mother, shower Kelly with kisses, enjoy David's company again, but the big part of you wasn't able to do it. The phone rang twice before they picked up on the other end.
“Honey?” You heard your mom’s sweet voice on the other side.
“Yeah mom, it’s me.” You smiled.
“Oh honey, I missed you. I was getting worried because you didn’t call and I thought something happened.”
“Don’t worry mom, I’m perfectly fine, it’s just… it’s been busy here and I couldn’t call. Sorry.”
“Don’t be, I am just glad you are okay.”
The two of you started talking, your mom told you about Kelly, about David, about things that had happened to her throughout the week and you told her about your things, the restaurant, your new friends.
“This Law… you also mentioned him last time we talked. And you had mentioned him a lot again, who is he? Someone I should know about?” Your mom teased on the other side of the phone.
“He is just a friend…”
“A friend?”
“Mhm, he is a doctor here in town.”
“Oh really?”
“Yeah but we are not anything, we are just friends…”
“But you like him?”
“Mom please…” You leaned your head against the glass of the cabin.
“What honey? I’m your mother, if my sweet baby is in love with someone I deserve to know.”
You stayed silent for a moment, in love with Law? That was such a big word, to be in love. You didn’t even know how it felt to be in love with someone, yeah you liked people before but you don’t think you have ever been in love with anyone. But with Law? You liked him and you felt sexually attracted to him, that was impossible to deny. He was someone who made you feel safe and comfortable, whenever he was around. Made your heart race, made you blush, but were you in love? Uh oh, I’m falling in love.
“I… maybe?” You whispered.
“Oh honey… I’m so happy for you.”
“Mom it’s getting late, I have to leave.”
“Okay, but I want you to tell me more about Law. I need to know more about this guy.”
You laughed and told her goodbye. You stayed there for a couple of more minutes, thinking about it. You were falling for Law, it wasn’t just sexual attraction or a simple liking, you loved him. Oh… all those times when your heart raced, when your eyes met and your face would blush, you were starting to fall for him.
“I’m falling for him…” You said for yourself.
“I knew it!” You opened your eyes widely looking at the person standing next to you. “Robin owns my 15 bucks.”
“Wait what?” You stepped out looking at Nami.
“I’m sorry my baby, but it was kinda obvious. And I could bet Law is also…”
“He is not and stop betting for my love life.”
“Okay.” She smiled. “What were you doing?”
“Oh I was just calling my mom.”
“You don’t have a phone.” You shook your head. “You can come to my apartment and use mine or come to the store whenever you want. Stop spending money on this old thing.”
“I just… didn’t want to bother anyone.”
“Y/n….” She sighed and held you from the shoulders. “You are not a bother and will never be. Understand? You are my friend. A dear one. And I don’t mind, you crashing on my apartment at 4 a.m., because you are homesick and you want to talk with your mom. I will let you, and prepare a hot chocolate and then spend the rest of the morning talking about how you are in love with...” You hit her. “Ah! Okay falling for…”
“Enough. I’m leaving, I need to work.” You started to walk off.
“Okay baby! But don’t think our conversation is over.” She waved at you.
You rolled your eyes and smiled. You began walking towards the restaurant, meeting familiar faces that smiled kindly at you. Zeff greeted you like always and Sanji came running towards you and welcomed you. You mentally prepared yourself for today, today was Sunday so it would be busy and you knew you would be closing late. Lunchtime was quiet, as was the afternoon, but the worst came at night, when families arrived for dinner after spending the day at the tourist spots near the town.
Moving one of the chairs, you fell into it exhausted. You had been exhausted, you had been alone most of the night because Sanji had to go into the kitchen to help because they couldn't keep up with so many orders. Your days at the restaurant were normally slow but Saturdays and Sundays, were a whole rollercoaster, where you could go from having no activities to being full of clients. You said goodbye to Sanji and Zeff, if you walked a little fast you could take the bus to go home and sleep all day tomorrow. You walked through the streets, hugging yourself to warm yourself.
“Miss?” You heard a man’s voice behind you.
You hugged yourself harder, feeling a chill running through your body. You turned around, leaving a space between the man and you. He was tall, really tall, blonde and he was wearing sunglasses, despite it being night already. You looked at him frowning and not stopping hugging you, as if that action were some kind of shield.
“Miss, do you know by any chance, Dr. Trafalgar?”
Law. Was he looking for him? Why? It didn't give you any good vibes.
“No. Sorry.” You said sharply. “Now if you excuse me.” You started to walk away.
But you were stopped by the man, who stood in front of you. You swallowed looking up at him. “I think you do miss, and you know? I hate liars.”
You shaked after hearing his words, could this be… that famous boss?
"Christmas Fear": A Christmas Jurassic World Imagine : Owen Grady
.
A Jurassic World Christmas Imagine: An Owen Grady Imagine
Owen Grady x Plus Size Reader, Fem Identifying Reader
Christmas/Holiday/Winter Themes
Obviously, mentions of dinosaurs, specifically le raptor squad.
Use of Y/N because inclusivity and also because I’m not making a full character or ya’ll won’t see this until next Christmas, lol.
. ......... . ........ . ............ . ......... . ................ . ............. . ............. . ........... .
Barry had to fight and fight hard to keep from laughing as an all too familiar white jeep came barreling up the road towards the raptor enclosure.
The white vehicle was usually covered in a layer of dirt (and still was) but had also been accented by peppermints and candy cane decorations galore.
Apparently, that woman was determined to bring the holly jolly even if it was the temperature of hellfire.
The moment those scuffed combat boots hit the ground and he could see the Santa charms dangling from the laces… Barry knew that this would be a sight to behold if for no other reason than to laugh at Owen when he would undoubtedly gawk at her.
The candy cane striped shirt under cut off glittery green overalls that followed only confirmed that suspicion.
The massive green cooler hitting the ground had him questioning her but the red basket filled with gifts that she settled on top of it had him smiling.
Leave it to her to bring cheer… and whatever else was in that cooler.
“Hello, Y/N.” the tall, dark and handsome man smiled at her as she made her way towards him.
That woman’s heart may have belonged to Owen “Royal Pain in her Ass” Grady… but she wasn’t blind… nor was she unaffected by Barry.
The man was fine as hell, sweet as sugar, intelligent, funny and kind.
And she was determined to find him a partner who appreciated him but that was gonna take a little longer than delivering presents.
“Hey, Barry.” she smiled and presented him with a present, “Merry Christmas!”
“You shouldn’t have…”
“Well, I did and I’ll not be taking it back. Can’t. Lost the receipt. Unless they don’t fit in which case I do actually have the receipt and just tell me and we’ll exchange them for the right size.” she said as he opened the box up to find the custom leather fingerless gloves with ventilation patches he’d been eyeing for months.
He didn’t know how exactly that woman knew the things she did but it never failed to surprise him.
“I think you’ve bribed someone in the control room to spy on us.” He teased as he pulled her into a hug. “That’s how you always end up giving the best gifts.”
“I would never do such a thing.” she said.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about but whatever it is… you would do such a thing and you know it.” Owen said making his way over to the two of them.
His eyes raked over her soft, squishy form.
A form that he’d spent many a late night thinking about.
Barry could basically see the thought bubble above his friend’s head and he wasn’t far off in his assumption that Owen was thinking something vulgar and crass because all that man could think was whenever she was done with her seasonal job of being Santa’s little helper he sure would like her to be his.
Apparently, she seemed to know it as well judging by the narrowed eyes and pursed lips gracing her face.
“You listen here, Mr. Grady…” she said pointing a finger at him.
“It’s Owen and-” he cut her off only to receive the same treatment from her.
“MISTAH GRADY, it is Christmas and I have come to spread Christmas cheer. So you take this present and don’t spoil my cheer or I will put the Christmas Fear of God in you. ” she said, smacking him right in the chest with a green sparkly box. “Now, get your perky ass over there and let me see my babies. I’ve brought them holiday treats.”
“First of all, thank you for the gift and the comment about my ass. Glad you finally noticed.” Owen said.
“Owen, every one with a set of eyes is well aware of your ass. You could bounce a nickel off that thing.” she said with a roll of her eyes. “And you’re welcome about the gift. Let me know how it fits.”
“Thank you and will do, ma’am.” Owen replied.
Barry, the entire time, standing there with his fist in his mouth trying not to laugh at the bickering of the married couple who weren’t actually married.
“Second, your babies?” Owen questioned her.
Owen knew damn well it would cause her to lose her shit… which was precisely why he did it.
He loved to watch her get riled up.
It was, all at once, hilarious, cute and wildly attractive.
He did it as much as possible.
“Yes, my babies!” she snapped. “Don’t you start with me today, Owen Grady! I have perishables in this cooler and I do not have time to fight with your irritating ass! Take me to my children or face my wrath!”
“And what is your wrath exactly?” he questioned as he stepped into her bubble… like an idiot.
She produced, from seemingly out of nowhere, a string of tinsel which she tied him up with… and then kicked his legs out of from under him.
“What the f- hey! Oh hello there..” what started as a curse turned to a smirk and ended with goo goo eyes at the woman who had literally tied him up and sat on him.
“Owen, listen. I have treats for our children- “
“We have children now?”
“Yes, we have four beautiful girls together and you are ruining Christmas. If you do not take me to see our daughters within the next fifteen minutes…. and you cause their gifts to spoil… I will torture you every day for the rest of our lives together.”
“Just as long as we’re together.”
“Ok, fine. You ruin this and I will feed you to Echo and Charlie. Blue may have allegiance to you. Delta might be swayed since you and Barry are best buds. But Echo and Charlie would eat you boots and all if I say so… and we both know it. Do not test me today.” she said, wiggling her ass into his stomach to prove her point.
At this point, Barry had already hit the dirt laughing at the absurdity of the situation.
Owen couldn’t stop smiling.
And Y/N was done with the both of them.
“Sweetheart, how can I take you to ‘our children’ if you’ve tied me up and sat on me? I mean, I’m not complaining. I’m just pointing out the obvious.” he said.
Y/N blinked at him before getting to her feet, grabbing Owen by the front of his shirt and hauling him off the ground.
If he hadn’t been caught midway between shock and a hard on at her man handling him like that… he might’ve scolded her.
She unwound the tinsel, hiding it away again like a magician’s handkerchief and gave him a pointed look.
She tapped the side of her cooler with her boot, “Some time today, darling. I’ve got raw meat in here and this is South America. We’re kinda fighting time.”
“Ok, I gotta see this.” Barry, who finally managed to get his shit together, finally spoke as he pressed the passcode to let them in.
Owen, still in a stupor from being manhandled, having his ass complemented, being sat on and called pretty pet names by the woman he had a massive crush on…. kinda just followed along.
Barry opened the door for her to access the crosswalk and soon enough the clickety clack of cooler wheels across the grates and the pounding of raptor feet in the dirt.
“Ladies, Mama has brought you a Christmas Treat!” she said and reached into the cooler to pull out the ugliest looking wreath either Barry or Owen had ever seen.
A twisted wreath of smoked sausages had all four raptors chomping at the bit.
“Merry Christmas, babies!” she cheered and promptly threw four of those meat wreaths down into the enclosure.
She damn near skipped back to the two men currently watching the dinosaurs ripping the wreaths apart.
“Aw, look. They love it. See, Owen. Our daughters are happy. Like ripping paper on Christmas morning.” she smiled at them fondly.
“Only you would make a wreath out of sausages and sit here like a proud mother as four dinosaurs rip them to shreds.” he said.
“I AM a proud mother and a damn good one judging by their reactions. Now, go try on your present. I need to see how it fits.” she sassed him.
Owen rolled his eyes at her and picked up the gift again, “What did you even- you have got to be fucking with me!”
“Well, that will all depend on how it fits you.”
Y/N was smirking.
Barry was laughing his ass off on the ground again.
And Owen was standing there with his mouth hanging open and a pair of board shorts printed with velociraptors wearing santa hats.
“I expect you to wear these to the Christmas party later if they fit right but I’m fairly certain, with the amount of time I’ve spent staring at your ass, that I got the measurements right.” she said, leaning up and pecking his cheek. “See ya later, Owen. Merry Christmas.”
And on that Christmas, Owen was the reddest and merriest of them all.
…..
Hello, loves and a happy holiday season to you! Please enjoy this little jurassic imagine with some holiday flair!
Hope ya’ll are having a great day!
Love you.
Mars in leo ♌️
. As the leo sun 🌞 and rising ,I really love people who have their Mars in Leo and I really wish I had that placement even though I’m a Leo son and a Leo rising it would be really nice to have the most sign conjunction your sun sign umm because I feel like the energies really mesh well together and every celebrity that I’ve seen with this placement bar a few, seem to have their ship together and are really iconic .
,even the outfits are even more extra than some people who have their Venus in Leo and you think it would be the other way round., with Venus being beauty anesthetic and appearance a lot of the time but then you have to remember that Mars is your energy and the radiance that you give off so take for instance here we have Meg the stallion, and Lil Kim., and I feel like they’re rap stars are very similar they’re very sexual they’re very suggestive and but they’re also very confident and meghan’s bionic knees don’t even get me started he’s just so sexy thanks,., I also believe that Madonna has this placement it’s either her Venus or Mars but I’m not the biggest Madonna fan these people come first I mean then you’ve got someone like Nicole Richie who exudes confidence especially back in the day when she was a young girl and I feel this is the case with Leo risings, they feel like they have their glow up younger there in life and then as they get older they sort of disappear into obscurity unless your name is Donald Trump Leo placements at theohh the teenager. That is that what Leo is and these outfits definitely give the confidence of Leo and celebrity.
Then you have Geri Halliwell who defined girl power. And ohh I had her son in Leo also so she really create that aura and gave off that confidence and the energy that goes with it.
She was always my favorite Spice Girl when she laughed I was very sad because she was the glue to that group she held it together and while when they released songs after it was never as good as when they were all 5 together.
The I don’t known you’ve got Katie Price who a lot of people have a love hate relationship with and gets crap all the time.
, because she’s confident The thing is with Katie she’s had so much work done she has got Saturn next to her, her mothers which could be a reason why she gets work done, because Saturn,,. Is very harsh and when it’s with your mother sign this is probably also why she’s been married multiple times and not being able to find the right man because as somebody here’s got their chiron conjunct their Venus love is pain and pain is love., and that is the kind of relationship she’s only going to be attracted to because otherwise it doesn’t feel normal so we can’t judge people’s situations because we don’t know their charts we don’t know who they are and we don’t know how they operate some people want to escape. the love and they have to really really try to get away from a certain situation,, I’ve had it a lot my whole life with relationships I never wanted a job I never wanted to be successful I never had any ambition all I ever wanted was to be in love and that upsets me now because why didn’t I think about getting a job why didn’t I think about doing this or that or travelling or going away with someone who wants to travel with me. I’m not saying it’s too late but I just sometimes wonder if anyone else has Leo placements please tell me how young you were when you really felt like love was the most important thing or if it was at all., and I’m guessing if it wasn’t at all there’s some strong other energy in your chart such as earth sign energy and air sign energy, I mean I’m a Capricorn stellium but he's still have that long f’r Leo love.
Then you have the beautiful Brittany Murphy who’s no longer with us and died tragically at around the age of 33, these fatties are hard,, especially if you’re a strong Scorpio energy but she’s got the math going on as well in Leo which squares it I know what that squares like but except I have it with Taurus,
and it's very different to your moon and human nature sun sign.,,, she was truly a force of nature and beautiful and she was in so many different things from such a young age from things like frasier’s sister sister obviously clueless, under eight mile.
