What is the DNA haplogroup of modern Egyptians?
Haplogroup E1b1b1
Wikipedia (E1b1b): E-M215, also known as E1b1b and formerly E3b, is a major human Y-chromosome DNA haplogroup. It is a division of the macro-haplogroup E-M96, which is defined by the single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) mutation M215. In other words, it is one of the major patrilineages of humanity, linking from father-to-son back to a common male-line ancestor ("Y-chromosomal Adam"). It is a subject of discussion and study in genetics as well as genetic genealogy, archaeology, and historical linguistics.
The E-M215 haplogroup has two ancient branches that contain all the known modern E-M215, E-M35 and E-M281 subclades. Of the latter two, the only branch that has been confirmed in a native population outside of Ethiopia is E-M35. E-M35 in turn has two known branches, haplogroup E-V68 and haplogroup E-Z827, which contain by far the majority of all modern E-M215 carrying men. E-V68 and E-V257 have been found in highest numbers in North Africa and the Horn of Africa, but also in lower numbers in parts of the Middle East and Europe, and in isolated populations of Southern Africa.
The Study authors consider Mtdna L0 thru L4 exclusively African.
Wikipedia quote: Haplogroup L3 descendants notwithstanding, the designation "haplogroup L" is typically used to designate the family of mtDNA clades that are most frequently found in Sub-Saharan Africa. However, all non-African haplogroups coalesce onto either haplogroup M or haplogroup N, and both these macrohaplogroups are simply sub-branches of haplogroup L3. Consequently, L in its broadest definition is really a paragroup containing all of modern humanity, and all human mitochondrial DNA from around the world are subclades of haplogroup L.
repeat - and all human mitochondrial DNA from around the world are subclades of haplogroup L.
Basal J*(xJ1,J2) is found at its highest frequencies among the Soqotri/Socotra (71.4%).
The people of the Island of Soqotri/Socotra are the genetically PUREST of ALL ARABS.
This is what they look like!

AlUla: The Middle East's once inaccessible ancient wonder (BBC)
Set in a stunning valley, this ancient desert oasis has birthed flourishing civilisations. Now, after years of being closed to outsiders, it's starting to reveal its secrets.
As a photographer, I've always been drawn to the unique way that light in the desert stretches, bounces off the sand and rock and illuminates the plains. There is a stillness in these landscapes that I've come to crave, but I'm also fascinated by the relationships people build with deserts. In the Middle East, humans have found ways to survive and even thrive in these harsh environments for millennia, and perhaps nowhere is this ingenuity more evident than in one of the Arabian Peninsula's most significant cultural cradles: AlUla (sometimes written "al-Ula").
Set in the AlUla Valley amid the soaring sandstone and granite mountains of north-western Saudi Arabia's Hijaz region, this ancient desert oasis has supported human life for the past 200,000 years. The area's fertile soil and access to water amid the arid, mountainous desert helped multiple civilisations blossom. The Dadan and Lihyan kingdoms that flourished here between 800 and 100 BCE were followed by Hegra, an important city in the Nabataean civilisation whose capital, Petra, was located farther north, in modern-day Jordan.
Yet, it wasn't until 2019 when Saudi Arabia began issuing tourist visas for non-religious travel that foreign visitors were able to witness this long closed-off and unexplored valley. Today, echoes of AlUla's long and mysterious past are everywhere, and as archaeologists slowly begin to uncover the many burial mounds, tombs and rock inscriptions scattered throughout AlUla's numerous sites, this ancient oasis is finally starting to reveal its secrets.

Mada’in Saleh, Arabia Saudita.
_______________________________
This ancient city was carved out of sandstone. In the past it was a meeting point of several civilizations, since this was the trade route between the Arabian peninsula and the Mediterranean.
Some of the inscriptions found in the area date back to the second millennium BC. However, all the remaining architectural elements are dated to the period of the Thamudi and Lihyan civilizations, between the 8th and 6th centuries B.C.

We’re living through the birth of a new species of skyscraper that not even architects and engineers saw coming. After 9/11, experts concluded that skyscrapers were finished. Tall buildings that were in the works got scaled down or canceled on the assumption that soaring towers were too risky to be built or occupied. “There were all sorts of symposiums and public statements that we’re never going to build tall again,” one former architect told The Guardian in 2021. “All we’ve done in the 20 years since is build even taller.”
There are skyscrapers, and then there are supertalls, often defined as buildings more than 300 meters in height, but better known as the cloud-puncturing sci-fi towers that look like digital renderings, even when you’re staring at them from the sidewalk. First supertalls were impossible, then a rarity. Now they’re all over the place. In 2019 alone, developers added more supertalls than had existed prior to the year 2000; there are now a couple hundred worldwide, including Dubai’s 163-story Burj Khalifa (a hypodermic needle aimed at space), Tianjin’s 97-floor CTF Finance Centre (reminiscent of a drill bit boring the clouds), and, encroaching on my sky, Manhattan’s 84-floor Steinway Tower (a luxury condominium resembling the love child of a dustbuster and a Mach3 razor).
Some supertalls have an even more futuristic designation: superslim. These buildings are alternately described as “needle towers” or “toothpick skyscrapers” (though not every superslim is a supertall). Early superslims shot up in Hong Kong in the 1970s, though lately they’ve become synonymous with New York City; four supertall superslims loom over the southern end of Central Park in a stretch of Midtown dubbed “Billionaires’ Row.” Building engineers, like judgy modeling agents, have varying definitions of superslim, but they usually agree that such buildings must have a height-to-width ratio of at least 10 to 1. To put that in perspective, the Empire State Building (one of the world’s first supertalls, completed in 1931) is about three times taller than it is wide—“pudgy,” as one engineer described it to me. Steinway Tower is 24 times taller than it is wide—nearly as slim as a No. 2 pencil, and the skinniest supertall in the world. (The developer’s official name for the building is 111 West 57th Street.) These superslim buildings—and supertalls generally—have relied on engineering breakthroughs to combat the perilous physics that go with height. A 2021 article in the journal Civil Engineering and Architecture declared: “There is no doubt that super-tall, slender buildings are the most technologically advanced constructions in the world.”
Like many cutting-edge innovations, supertalls can behave unpredictably. In strong winds, occupants have reported water sloshing in toilet bowls, chandeliers swaying, and panes of glass fluttering. The architect Adrian Smith, who has designed numerous supertalls, contends that you’re in supertall territory not just when you hit 300 meters, but when you build so high that you get into “potentially unknown issues.” And, he acknowledges, there are “still mistakes being made.”

Man of mystery discovered in Paris
The statue is of a king or high priest from the ancient Lihyanite kingdom (Saudi Arabia).
He stands 2.3 metres high, bare chested, with a physique like an ancient Egyptian god or a Greek ‘Kouros’ statue of a young man.
But he is neither Egyptian nor Greek.

NEOM SAUDI ARABIA AN EPIC DISASTER IN THE WINGS
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia via various popular online press outlets and venues (such as MSN) have been leaking their plans for a new Mega City on the eastern flank of the kingdom, known as NEOM and also dubbed The Line.
The Kingdom is touting this new milestone in urban design to be on par with modern marvels of engineering and construction, something to behold along the lines of Egypt’s fabled pyramids – and to compete with Singapore’s Marina Bay, Dubai’s Marina, Jumeirah’s Burj Al Arab (the distinctive hotel shaped like a sailboat), and most recently Burj El Khalifa, one of the tallest buildings in the world – all of which are pre-eminent business, visitors and tourist destinations in Asia.
However, it would seem the price tag for this ambitious project originally estimated at One Trillion US dollars is now edging closer, per some sources, to $2.5 Trillion US dollars and many of its grandiose features and plans will have to be trimmed, cut back, or removed entirely from the project destined to open (in phases I would surmise) starting in 2035.
What is believed to the kingdom’s most ambitious undertaking yet, the region’s DISNEYLAND, so to speak, and perhaps a new economic engine for the region and the Kingdom, could also be one step closer to the undoing of the current boom enjoyed throughout the Persian Gulf region, from Kuwait and the Emirates to Saudi.
