I'm sorry, but changing the scene of all dwarves coming to Bag End unexpectedly in the movie so much that Bilbo is openly annoyed and tells the dwarves to put down his food...

It is funny, it is well played, it is good enough. But you missed the chance to bring to screen the comedy gold of the book version!!

Bilbo catering to everybody's needs and trying to be polite and act as normal as possible while he is having a mental breakdown. Hilarious!

Yes of course he can feed 13 dwarves with different wishes, no problem. Nooo it's completely normal to have your pantry plundered and a party of 13 dwarves in the house.

I can perfectly imagine his strained smile and sweat on his brow while he is imploding on the inside but his manners make it impossible to say something 😂

I've been trying to write and it rarely feels good.

Hang in there, guys. Try different things. Read things that suck you in. Spend time with people who don't bore you to death, whether that's YouTubers or friends or long-dead authors. Go outside, if you have an Outside nearby that welcomes you like a friend. Listen to music that makes you feel something.

a concept for the type of OP i'd love to see for the second season of Dungeon Meshi! both s1 OPs are great, but i'm really hoping for one that captures both the "dangerous fantasy adventure" and "comedic cooking adventure" aspects of the series in equal measure, because it's the integration of those two concepts that makes the series special to me. the joyous whimsy and the dramatic horrors are equally important!!

Bag End. Un unexpected party finally ended, the dwarves sang their song and went to sleep. There was silence. Bilbo is still sitting on the edge of his bed, trying to calm down.

Bilbo: *thinks out loud* They devoured all my supplies, stained the carpets and almost dragged me along with them into some strange campaign. But it's okay. Tomorrow they will leave, I will go to the market, do the cleaning and all this will be forgotten like a bad dream. After all, things could have ended much worse.

There is a quiet but persistent knock on his bedroom door. The hobbit twitches in fear and doesn't answer.

Thorin: *outside the door* Mr. Baggins, I'm sorry to bother you again. Please let me in, I want to apologize for tonight. And I want to tell you about another big bonus that you will receive if you go on a trip with me…

Bilbo: *breathes rapidly* I probably shouldn’t have calmed down ahead of time.

Today I fell asleep on the couch, but it was so uncomfortable I ended up in a weird subconscious state, like a sleep paralysis...

Then I dreamed for a bit and BARBATOS WAS THERE, like OH WOW HI HUBBY WAY TO VISIT ME I LITERALLY CAN'T MOVE

Sadly nothing too interesting happened, but it was way better than sleep paralysis... Sleep Barbatisis.

How do people keep having such cool Obey Me related dreams? I would love to have a Barbatos dream encounter lol!

Sleep Barbatisis lolol. I mean, people do say they are visited by sleep paralysis demons. Though they usually sound terrifying. So I do think having Barb show up instead would be preferable. At least he's pretty, right?

I've only really experienced sleep paralysis once and it was incredibly annoying. Like hello I have things to do, I don't have time to be immobilized thanks.

Maybe he'll come back to you and something interesting will happen~

Although they don't really mention Barbatos having any kinda sleep related powers, I somehow wouldn't be surprised if he could visit dreams on purpose. Maybe he can portal himself into them or something. Nothing can convince me that he wouldn't use such a power to visit you deliberately. He's just checking in this time, but if he comes back...
