Just an observation but I have been thinking how, it seems that a lot of teens don’t know how to use a computer that well anymore because of how popular smartphones/tablets are? I find a bit concerning because I believe that with how those devices are built it’s just much easier to control content available apps etc. Like I’m not super tech savvy in my own eyes, I use windows on my computer because of the accessibility, but I dipped my toes in Linux system in the past and if I needed/wanted I feel like I could be independent from big tech companies. I just feel like it’s all connected with the fact it’s somehow much harder to find reliable information in out search engines, and I don’t know if many young people want to put in the effort to troubleshoot etc. Idk I might sound old right now, and speaking out of my ass, but it’s visible how the tech advancements are leading to lower reading comprehension, and sometimes just straight up illiteracy and I get sad and worried.
