i really don’t think it’s “typical dragon age fandom nonsense” for people to be genuinely upset about the world state choices. combat, level design, art direction, gameplay gimmicks, those have all varied across each dragon age game. the one thing that’s remained constant are nods to our previous choices.

i wasn’t expecting my HoF to come riding in on a griffon, but i can’t find a monument dedicated to warden tabris somewhere around the anderfels? lucanis couldn’t have some lines about the time that one arainai boy was stirring up trouble in antiva city? you’re gonna tell me that making a mage the new divine wouldn’t have some impact on nevarra and antiva? on the anderfels, the supposed most devout militant andrastian nation in thedas? you’re saying nobody in the north is paying attention to who rules orlais or ferelden? come on.

i know some fuckers reupload my art without a care in the world, im fighting w this for years now and it was a major reason why i deleted my previous art blog and stopped posting art for a long time. i dont hunt the internet to catch everyone tho, even if it pisses me off greatly.

BUT if anyone ever sees my oc art reuploaded, let me know so i can deal with this. one of my biggest fears is people stealing my ocs/worlds or claiming them, i saw that happen to someone once and its scary as hell. i wont tolerate that w my ocs. literally fuck you.

and regarding the AI ask just now; please dont use my OCs for things such as roleplay or anything.

also i rb sm abt it and thoughts its obvious - especially as an artist - what my stance on AI is and what a deep hatred i have for it. do NOT use my things for ANY of that shit.

and, in general while were on the topic of AI bc i see this SO OFTEN: you cant be anti AI and then turn around and use AI writing programs, its all scraped and based on stolen shit. please protect writers as much as artists and VAs.

Inspired by this un-cheated Cheated from @/itsonlypolite and by my un-broken Broken, I started to think about what would un-cold Cold look like (it was also a suggestion from @/neverpathia)

Specifically, I imagined how much Cold would change, wither and, quite literally, grow colder as the Narrator shoves the Long Quiet into the Good Ending. It was a fun exercise to see if I could figure out what Cold would look like before he gets traumatized by the eternity of nothingness and boredom. His frame gets thinner, his feathers get longer and more tattered, and his expression gets more and more done with everything :]

...and then this snowballed! And I started thinking about Paranoid, too:

...not that different from how I normally draw him, except he's got actual eyes! What happened to them?

...the Nightmare happened :]

(This was supposed to be a quick brush test, but then surprise! I really wanted to draw the moment his eyes "break" and turn into the static-y mess they are normally. Also pre-Nightmare Paranoid doesn't need gloves, too! It's only after the Long Quiet's body gets thoroughly paralyzed by Nightmare that he needs them as a sensory item, if that makes sense... I've got a lot of Paranoid HCs-)

Seeing one of the Arcane writers admit that she purposely invested little in MelJay, but is constantly on Twitter uplifting others ships (who have yte love interest but whatever) and when asked what she thought about Mel as a character she gave the synonymous "She's girlboss" and nothing else....hmmm. Not only is it incredibly unprofessional but also childish too. But some in the fandom were telling black fans that they were reaching when they said Mel was falling into the disposable black girlfriend trope. Don't even get me started on how, with the Noxus trailer dropping and there being more potential for Mel's story, you still have those specific fans trying to shoe in other characters into her story.

Girl no. You have every right to hate him. He bailed on her and robbed her because she told him she loved him. Verosika deserves so much better. She desvers someone that loves her back.

Verosika was honestly the best person to give Blitz this wake up call. Realising how much he HURT her and broke her heart made him feel bad. He knows he needs to do better now.

Verosika was so mature about this too. A lot of people would have just slapped him, but she actually talked to him. She may not forgive him (she doesn't have to.) But she knows he's not evil, just an asshole. He CAN change. She won't let her hate for him stop her from making that clear in her conversation.

She's also a good friend to Stolas when he needed one. Love you girl. ❤️

okay but how silly is it that drew's feelings towards silena were regarded as bad. keep in mind that HoO doesn't take place too long after PJO, drew was part of a war at age 15-16. her siblings, friends, and loved ones are all at risk of death. there are rumours of a spy and of course that's putting everyone at edge. in the final battle of the war, while her friends and siblings are quite literally dying, her sister reveals she was the spy and dies to help protect everyone. she then is given the responsibility of taking care of her siblings, which, again, some died. i love silena but i also know it only makes sense that drew would have complicated feelings towards silena, and of course those feelings would be displayed as a polar belief.
