"Awwww poor bwitz! Finally having to own that his actions affect other people's feefees!"
Tumblr media
"The worst part is you still make me feel like a bad person for being anrgy at you now."
Tumblr media
Girl no. You have every right to hate him. He bailed on her and robbed her because she told him she loved him. Verosika deserves so much better. She desvers someone that loves her back.
Verosika was honestly the best person to give Blitz this wake up call. Realising how much he HURT her and broke her heart made him feel bad. He knows he needs to do better now.
Verosika was so mature about this too. A lot of people would have just slapped him, but she actually talked to him. She may not forgive him (she doesn't have to.) But she knows he's not evil, just an asshole. He CAN change. She won't let her hate for him stop her from making that clear in her conversation.
She's also a good friend to Stolas when he needed one. Love you girl. ❤️

What Blitz doesn’t know:
1. Stolas’s marriage is abusive
* He might not even know it’s bad. All he’s seen is royal portraits of their happy family together as he’s been led through the halls, and the Hellhound security team brought him in after Stella finished her rant. Based on his expression after Ozzie implies their affair ruined Stolas’s marriage/relationship with his daughter, he feels guilt about that. Maybe he feels like a homewrecker.
* I’m not entirely sure he knows Stolas asked for a divorce immediately after their one-night stand. Based on the pilot, he ran away with the book too fast to hear him.
* And, by that token, he doesn’t have a clue Striker was hired by Stella to not only kill Stolas but torture him first (and he never told Stolas Striker was a danger because he didn’t think he was especially unique, and now feels bad about that, I’m sure).
2. That his reaction in Ozzie’s was about being humiliated in front of so many people, not actually because he was ashamed of Blitzø.
3. By that same token, Stolas only responding with “okay” when Blitz says that their relationship is clearly only about “wanting me to fuck you” was NOT actually confirmation that Blitz’s suspicions were correct.
4. Stolas’s text messages were him trying to reassure Blitz he doesn’t have to do anything he doesn’t want—he just became really unclear about what he wants in the process, which makes it look like he doesn’t want him to visit.
5. That he improved Stolas’s life, he didn’t ruin it. Because of Blitz, he got the closest he ever did to telling his daughter the truth about his relationship, asked for a divorce, and even after Ozzie’s he stood up for himself and DEMANDED the divorce! Not to mention Blitz clearly gave him the only happiness he had in a while.
6. The only pictures Stolas has on his phone of them make it look like Blitz is constantly annoyed by his presence.
7. He has absolutely no clue whatsoever about Blitzø’s feelings. None.
8. Striker made fun of him about the fact that Blitz didn’t come to save him.
9. He probably offered for Blitz to be his bodyguard because Stella said “Can you imagine if he didn’t have money!”, so he doesn’t think anyone will have sex with/hang out with him if money isn’t involved.
10. Stolas isn’t actually racist or classist, it’s more like he says things thoughtlessly and is blinded by privilege in many aspects. But he doesn’t have some weird fetish for imps.
11. Stolas loves him!! We all know he’s a horny motherfucker but he does deeply love Blitz so much.
What Stolas doesn’t know:
Oh man, where do I start.
1. Blitzø’s biggest fear is dying alone.
2. He’s afraid to get close to Stolas because of commitment issues and the “eventually everyone goes” mentality, BUT also because of the race/class difference he’s scared to lose his freedom and basically become one of Stolas’s servants.
3. He comes toward Stolas in the hallucination anyway. Away from everyone else and toward him. (Crawls toward him, in fact.)
4. That he stole Verosika’s car, ran three rings to Wrath, maxed her credit cards on shitty horseback-riding lessons, and left her to pay for the hotel room while they were dating. (He does know that Blitz was a selfish lover to her and broke her heart, though.)
5. He’s in awe of Stolas. You can see it when he sees his demon form when Stolas saves him, when he puts on his human disguise, and when he’s being trampled on the ground and sees Stolas’s tail feathers as he’s being carried away above him. He’s put him on such a pedestal that 1) he can’t believe Stolas would ever love him back and 2) he’s forgotten that Stolas is mortal and can be hurt, both emotionally and physically.
6. Blitzø has no idea of Stolas’s feelings toward him—since episode 2 we’ve been aware that he’s operating under the assumption that “no one” loves him, and since Ozzie’s we know Blitzø thinks that Stolas makes it clear “all the time” that their arrangement doesn’t go deeper than fucking. Therefore, when he invited him to the date at Ozzie’s, he wasn’t cruelly playing with his feelings; he had no idea said feelings existed (though, he probably should’ve been honest that he wanted to spy on M&M). Even when Moxxie says, “He seems to like you, sir,” Blitzø responds with “Okay, my dick is GOOD—but it is not that good,” misinterpreting Moxxie’s observation of Stolas’s feelings for him as Stolas’s sexual interest in him.
7. His “oh yeah…I guess it is, huh” when Stolas called Ozzie’s their first “real” date wasn’t him being like “ew I don’t wanna go on a date with this guy,” but more like “Oh right…this is our first real date and I’m using it to spy on M&M, this isn’t really how I wanted our first ‘real’ date to be.”
8. Blitzø’s obsession with M&M stems from his own desire to have a happy, healthy, monogamous marriage like they do, despite constantly mocking them about it.
9. Blitzø has a picture of Stolas asleep and himself looking happy to be cuddled up with him forefront on his phone.
10. Blitzø has scratched himself out of every picture of himself, his friends, his daughter (and twin sister) on his walls.
11. The betrayed look on his face—the “I knew this was going to happen but I was hoping it wouldn’t” when Stolas covered his face at Ozzie’s.
12. How concerned he looked when Stolas said “I seem to have been stolen by your little cowboy friend,” how much MORE concerned he looked when Striker spoke to him directly, that he was so furious he broke his phone AND damaged his car after that before he started driving recklessly and seemed to be seriously contemplating going for Stolas himself. He even grilled M&M on their ability to do so, rushed through the doctor’s appointment, vented about it in the waiting room, and looked so happy when he thought they’d brought Stolas back safe and sound. (Didn’t even correct the doctor who called him “Bingo,” just wanted to get out of there.)
13. The look on his face and the genuine surprise when he said “he can get HURT?” Not to mention the “Stolas got what?” and the crack in his voice when he said “how?”
14. When he said “If you promise this isn’t some fuck-fest invite it does sound like a blast and a half,” he wasn’t annoyed with Stolas, he was annoyed that the only thing he thought Stolas cared about was sex with him.
15. That he changed the screaming sound of Stolas’s ringtone to a cute bird one and presumably changed the contact name from “Creepy Mouth (aka one night stand bird dick)” to his actual name. Not to mention, his ringtone for Loona is a dog one—what does it say that he made Stolas’s a bird one?
16. When Blitzø is giving Stolas that weird look when they meet as children, he’s not finding kid!Stolas weird or annoying, he’s weirded out because Stolas’s father is there acting like a jackass and hitting him in front of Blitzø. (It took me multiple rewatches to notice that one, actually.)
17. That despite saying “We ain’t bodyguards. That was a one-time thing we did badly,” he saved Stolas from Striker the first time without 1) being asked or 2) paid to do it. He just did—and didn’t tell him afterwards in order to receive any type of accolades. He saved him quietly.
18. He didn’t actually deny that Stolas was his boyfriend when that’s what Millie called him.
19. Striker was the first person outside of I.M.P. to call Blitzø on his feelings for Stolas—and mock him for them.
20. “I’ll take the first watch” and “You guys better go make sure Stolas is okay” in Loo Loo Land.
21. Blitz tried to get his attention when he was attempting to break into Stolas’s room. That’s gotta mean something, idk what.
22. Blitzø lied to everyone, including himself, that he had to sleep with Stolas to get the Grimoire when he actually did that AND spent the entire night with him of his own free will (which actually jeopardized his mission, let alone helped it).
23. Blitz remembered him for over two decades—Stolas had forgotten him until he showed up again, it seems.
24. Blitzø had a chance to go home with Cash Buckzo but he stayed and played with Stolas instead.
25. He was about to say something when Fizzarolli called his love life “a pile of shit” before Verosika cut him off. He also looks at Stolas and back when Fizz sings, “Some nerve you’ve got to comment on a relationship.”
26. He cried after Ozzie’s.
* He got wasted off his ass after Ozzie’s.
* He said he could drink Queen Bee-lzebub under the table because “you have no idea what kind of night I’ve had” and told Loona he had “a really shitty day.”
* He was gonna have sex with a dude who looked like Stolas but in the end got rid of him—and requested a man by the same name as the lead in the soap opera Stolas also watches.
* He made out with, at minimum, four strangers (if Dennis was in the five-person makeout).
* He cried that Fizz was right that he was gonna die alone again.
* Even though he couldn’t remember Dennis’s name when they’d been making out ten seconds ago, the last word on his lips before he fell asleep was “Stolas” (he also seems to have gone in increasing order of importance with the names he muttered).
27. That he slept with Chaz, but said he was terrible in bed, used him for information, and snuck out as soon as Chaz was asleep instead of staying beside him all night.
28. That Blitzø was paid to hang out with him that day (though thankfully neither of them know that he was only worth $5 and a slim-fit condom to Cash Buckzo), and he didn’t want to steal from him.
29. How scared Blitz looked when he was being led back to Stolas’s room after he said “I will deal with him accordingly.”
30. He’s almost definitely reading Stolas’s apologetic and “only if you want!” texts as lack of interest.
31. How hurt/annoyed Blitz is every time Stolas thoughtlessly says something about imps, which is especially prevalent in “Harvest Moon Festival.”
32. Despite the persona he puts on and what Stolas probably believes because of that persona, Blitzø is clearly struggling with self-hatred and self-worth issues in general.
33. How much it’s going to hurt Blitzø when he reaches out and Stolas rejects him (or what he’s going to see as Stolas’s rejection when he gives him the crystal)—because that’s exactly what happened with his sister. For all we know, Stolas isn’t even aware that Blitzø has a twin sister.
34. He loves Stolas with everything he has and deep down he’s aware of that, even if he’s lying to himself about it.
Conclusion: AHHHHHH

ANGST TIIIMMEEEE!!!!
So-- we have Blitz's fear of being left/abandonment issues. He's scared Striker will leave him because he manages to fuck up everything good in his life. At least, that's the mindset he is in. But what if Striker and Blitz get in a really bad fight, decide to sleep on it and deal with it in the morning, only for Striker to wake up the next day and see that Blitz has up and left? After all of the validation and reassuring he'd always stay by Blitz's side, only to be left by said imp? It absolutely breaks Striker to the point he can't live with himself for losing something so meaningful to him. I can only imagine the cries he would let out when he gets a voicemail the next day at 3 in the morning from Blitz (who bought another burner phone cause he left his smartphone at home) saying he needed space and was on his way back to Striker.
If you think about it, at one point Blitz stole Verosika's credit cards and ran off to a completely different ring in hell when he broke up with her. It only makes sense that running would be his first instinct when it comes to rough roads in a relationship or even commitment. (So I could also see this happening if Striker proposed to him and Blitz would want to run off and avoid the topic.)
What are your thoughts?
This is fine. I didn't need those feels today anyway. :'D
OKAY BUT NO THIS IS HORRIBLY BEAUTIFULLY FANTASTIC AND THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR SENDING THIS AHHHHHHH!! For as much as I'm loving the fluffy stuff and the smutty stuff with these two, there really isn't anything quite like when they're hurting.
The thing I love the most about these two and their relationship is that I truly do think that they have a ton of things in common--and specifically distinctive character traits that make this exact scenario not only possible but fascinating to think about. We all know that Blitz's insecurities and self-destructive tendencies have been extensive enough that there's an entire show being made about them (lol). And Striker--from what we've seen of him so far--seems like the "tumbleweed" type who just kind of moves around from place to place as needed for his hitman jobs, not really giving much of a shit for anything other than being the one to come out on top. They both want to be treated with respect and be in positions of power that are "higher" than what most other imps get to experience in Hell, and they both are willing to go to the extreme in order to make that happen. However, the thing I think is most interesting about them is where they differ--where Striker seems perfectly content to go about doing this on his own and keep the spotlight on himself, whereas Blitz, though he makes it clear that he's the Boss, needs to be part of a partnership. And yet it's always Blitz who's the first one to up and run when he thinks that things might be starting to crash around him, whereas Striker seems much more set in his mind to stick things out to the end no matter what [as shown by his calling Stella to straight up admit that he failed to kill Stolas the first time around, but assured her that he's going to keep trying to get it done instead of just taking her blessed weapons and running off somewhere]. For being the one who's always working solo, Striker fucking commits to doing exactly what he says he's gonna do. Blitz, on the other hand, freaks himself out too easily--probably because he seemingly lost his initial partner-in-crime, his twin sister Barbie Wire, back in the day--and probably doesn't want to go through losing his "other half" if you will all over again.
Now of course this isn't an exact translation here because Barbie Wire is Blitz's twin sister and people like Verosika and Striker [and I've even heard some interesting theories about Fizzeroli] are romantic interests, BUT I think that there is a distinct overlap there when it comes to this idea of losing someone that's supposed to be closer to you than anyone else in the world that does explain why Blitz is the way he is when he hits that wall of turning his tail and running. And let's be real here, Striker is not an idiot. He knows this about Blitz [whether or not Blitz ever gives him the full backstory about Barbie] and I'm sure that's why Striker's gone out of his way to assure Blitz that no matter what shit hits the fan, he's going to be right there with him to scrape it off the walls. He doesn't want Blitz to be afraid that in ten years, Striker's just going to be another Verosika fighting with Blitz over a parking space. He also sure as hell doesn't want Blitz to think that he's just going to be content with obliviousness--either turning a blind eye or just enjoying the bliss of ignorance--about the deeper aspects of Blitz's life the way certain feathered Princes tend to do consciously or subconsciously. He wants, so badly, to make it abundantly clear that he loves Blitz more than anything and is committed to their relationship in a way that no other previous partner in Blitz's life has ever been.
.....So of course his heart is completely shattered to pieces when he wakes up the morning after that fight and Blitz is nowhere to be seen. And if it's the morning after he proposed and he found Blitz gone--the scream he would let out would be truly, hauntingly unholy.
The same string of thoughts hit him one after another, like bullets from a firing squad: He's not surprised. Is he suprised? He shouldn't be surprised. Yes he fucking should, this is different! Blitz wasn't supposed to want to leave him! What did he do to make Blitz feel like he had to leave him? Sure he said some stupid shit--he's usually better spoken than that--fuck, why did he have to be so shit with words at the times that it really mattered?
He does this to himself for hours, racking his brain with everything he said--all the stupid angry things you say in the heat of a fight / all the fumbling cheesy things you say when you're trying to find words to explain that you want to spend the rest of your life with the person standing in front of you. Striker knows how to charm and he knows how to manipulate, but he's never ever been good at expressing sentimental feelings with words. And with Blitz--it always feels like it isn't enough. He thinks he knows what he's doing, and he tries so so hard to make Blitz feel safe and secure and happy. Satan, he's never wanted to see another being happy as badly as he wants to see Blitz happy. He knows it's terrifying and downright dangerous to admit outloud but.....at least to himself.....he can admit that he would do anything to make Blitz truly happy. Anything.
He loves him.
~*~*~
When Blitz finally does make it back, he's not at all prepared for what he finds. Striker looks every bit like he's just been running himself ragged in circles since Blitz left, and his tail is rattling intensely behind him. The sound of it makes Blitz flinch--it's his least favorite one out of all of Striker's rattles: thin and sharp like shards of broken glass. It's the rattle he makes when he's extremely agitated about something, and not in the angry way.....but in the hurt and worried and frightened way.
For a moment they just stand there looking at each other--well, Blitz looking everywhere but at Striker's eyes, and Striker's eyes unable to look anywhere but right at Blitz's face. Neither say a word. Neither of them move.
"I thought...I t-thought I was different," Striker finally manages to say brokenly, barely able to keep himself together enough to speak.
Blitz still doesn't say anything for a moment, and there's that familiar terrified spark in his eyes that makes Striker think that he's going to bolt on him again--this time right in front of his face. Instead, Blitz takes a slow, hesitant step towards him...and then another...and then, as carefully as if he were walking across a landmine instead of across their living room, makes his way over to Striker, though he still can't quite bring himself to meet his eyes at first.
".....You are different," he whispers faintly after a long stretch of silence, and, just when Striker thinks that he's going to have to tilt Blitz's chin up just to look at him, Blitz not only lifts his eyes to meet Striker's...but he reaches out to take his hand as well. He squeezes.
And that's when it clicks.
That's when Striker knows.
He might not have been the first one that Blitz has ever run away from.....but he's the one and only person that Blitz has ever come back to.
He is different.

Beauty in the Broken by Charmaine Pauls
There is beauty in the broken. 👑👑👑👑
I was broken by this book, but in the most beautiful way. Charmaine Pauls ripped my heart out of my chest, broke it many times, then finally put it back in my chest at the end. I was immediately captivated with this world at the beginning of the book and with Damian and Lina as characters, and it didn’t let me go until the end. Lina went through so much that it broke my heart, but the journey to who she is at the end was well deserved. Damian deserves to get his revenge for what was done to him, and the last six years have broken him as well. Damian is obsessed with Lina and would do anything for her which I appreciated, but some of the times he punished her were brutal to read. That is why I gave the book 4 stars - some of Damian’s punishments were hard and uncomfortable for me to read. He does redeem himself in the end! Damian and Lina’s love story is as broken and beautiful as I have ever read. If you want a book that transports you to another world with a story and characters that don’t let you go until you get to the end, then read this book!

Last words of ex-air hostess in harrowing 999 call
The last words of an ex-air hostess who died of a heart attack after burglars broke into the home she had lived in all her life have been revealed.
The ‘extremely distressing’ 999 call made by Maureen Whale has been released as her family appeal for help to bring those responsible to justice.
Maureen, who was 77-years-old at the time of her death, was at her home in Bells Hill, Barnet, at around 6pm on December 4 when two men broke into her home and stole her handbag.
The pensioner, who was born at the property in 1940 and who survived The Blitz collapsed while on the phone to a 999 operator and was taken to hospital in a critical condition. The former air stewardess died the following day.
Maureen Whale (pictured left and right) was born in 1940 and had lived at the property in Barnet all of her life
The house in Barnet (pictured above) where Maureen Whale had lived through The Blitz
CCTV images which had been released by the police show three suspects who are wanted in connection with Maureen’s death
One of the items of jewellery (pictured above) which was stolen from the home of Maureen Whale
A post-mortem examination found her death from coronary heart disease had been brought on by the stress of the crime, and it is being treated by police as manslaughter.
In the recording, the pensioner can be heard saying ‘I’m shaking, I’m sorry’, and then telling the call handler ‘I can’t talk, I’m sorry’ as an ambulance is called.
The operator pleads: ‘Maureen hang on in there please,’ but there is no response.
Her niece Gina said: ‘Hearing the last phone call made by my aunt is extremely distressing but we hope that by releasing this to the public, someone, somewhere will be moved to come forward with information.
Other items which were stolen from the property included a love heart necklace (left and a ring (right)
Police (pictured above) searched the area back in December close to the detached house in Barnet
A shocked neighbour left these white roses on Mrs Whale’s doorstep after it was revealed the pensioner had died
‘Our aunt was a fiercely independent woman who should have been safe in the home she had lived in all of her life.
‘No-one deserves to die in this way and we urge anyone who can help bring these men to justice to come forward and assist police with their investigation.’
Maureen had lived in the house with her mother Phyllis, who is believed to have died in 1993.
Maureen Whale (pictured above) had previously worked as an air hostess
Mrs Whale was enjoying her retirement in the little cottage – described as ‘her world’ – after holding down positions as a nurse, medical secretary and librarian and ‘living out her dream’ to become an air hostess, friends said, after learning of her death.
Her only living relatives are a nephew and niece who live in Hertfordshire. They are the children of her brother Roy, who is also dead.
Police are linking the break-in to three other burglaries in the area on the same day. They have released CCTV footage of two men entering her home and their accomplice, who acted as a lookout.
Detective Chief Inspector Noel McHugh, who is leading the investigation, said: ‘Maureen died for the few pounds that were in her purse. It is so wrong that a woman who was so adventurous travelling the world in her younger days should die in such awful circumstances, for just a few pounds, in her own home.
‘Someone will recognise these burglars from CCTV or from a change in their behaviour, and I am appealing to the families and partners of these individuals to help Maureen’s family get the justice they deserve.
In December police officers released an image of Maureen Whale using her small brown wallet to pay for items during a shopping trip earlier in the day
Police forensics officers (shown at the house) were seen working at the property in December
‘For anyone teetering on whether to make that call, just listen to the distressing 999 call that Maureen made. Just imagine it could have been your mum or nan.
‘Burglary is a horrid crime, but what happened to Maureen is utterly wicked.
‘In December we found Maureen’s bag in a hedge on the outskirts of Ravenscroft Park and we are continuing to ask anyone who may have seen or been given the items stolen in the other burglaries on the same night to get in touch.’
The first suspect is described as a man who wore a black body warmer over a light-coloured, long-sleeved top and a dark woolly hat. He climbed over the outside gate, opened the gate and then went into the house.
The second man who also went into the house was wearing a long-sleeved top with dark patches and he had his fur-trimmed hood up. He was also wearing dark trousers and light-coloured trainers.
The man who acted as a lookout at the window was wearing a long-sleeved, dark, hooded top or jacket. He had a baseball cap on underneath the hood of his jacket and was also wearing light-coloured jogging bottoms and dark trainers.
Police also want to speak to the driver of a small, four-door hatchback car, possibly a Skoda Fabia, which travelled along Bells Hill towards Lexington Way directly past the suspects just before the break-in.
Barnet was heavily bombed during the war, but the house where Mrs Whale lived survived
Mrs Whale had lived in Barnet since she was born in 1940. Pictured: Its High Street that year
It is being linked to two more burglaries in the road on the same evening, and another around half-a-mile away on Sampson Avenue at 11.45am on the that day.
A reward of £20,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the intruders.
Anyone with information can call the police incident room on 020 8785 8099, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

All of it runs together while life passes me by. Thirteen years ago, the woman I was in love with left me standing at the altar. Hurt. Broken. Humiliated. Some say thirteen is a lucky number. Me? I curse the number. Now she’s back. Reminding me. Torturing me. She says things are not what they seem. That they weren't then either. Do I believe her? Do I forgive? Forget? Time and truth will tell. Trailer for Tyson: Direct Link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IXgvHD4-vT0 Excerpt My insides shake as she walks out with a warm breeze only to be replaced by the freezing chills and the ice cold stare of Jude. He shuts the door behind him, stands firmly in place and stares me down. “That intimidating look may work well on the criminals you pick up; I assure you, Jude, it will not work on me. Now, what can I help you with?” Yes, I know that Tyson and his friends are cops. I know everything there is to know about him. He left as planned for the Army shortly after I left him. He’s a womanizer. Sleeps around, drinks and gets into fights. He’s angry, bitter and out of control and it all reflects back on me. I’ve studied the symptoms of a broken person. I’m one myself. I know very little about his time at war. I’m sure some of his anger stems from there. I feared for his life every day. Kept up with the news and terror weighed on my shoulders every second he was deployed. I’m so proud of him for what he’s done with his life. Coming from a young kid with the odds of turning into a criminal stacked against him to a man of honor. A soldier turned cop. I couldn’t ask for a better man than him. I still haven’t been able to let him go. The man I left lives in the tattered mess of my heart, and I never stopped praying our lives would have been different, that fate wouldn’t have snuck up on me and kicked my feet right out from under me. Stole our chance at happiness. I’ve loved Tyson since the first day I laid my eyes on him. Through time and therapy, I thought I would be able to stop loving him. That there was no way, love could be this strong that months, years and a decade later it would still linger. The precious memories I kept locked away swarmed to the forefront of my mind the minute I saw him again. Stolen kisses, bodies tangled together. Our hearts so full of promises to one another. I broke them all. Broke him. Broke me. I’m here to fix it. Somehow. I remain calm matching Jude’s gaze while every cell in my body is a quivering mess. My stomach shifts uneasily and sweat breaks out at the nape of my neck. But, I will not falter or allow him to see that his presence is terrifying me. “When Tyson first told me it was you I didn’t want to believe it. I prayed for you to disappear, to crawl back under your rock and stay the hell away from him. Now after seeing what this is doing to him. I’ve changed my mind. Before I get into why I think you owe me an explanation as to what your plans are, I want you to know I’m standing here not trying to intimidate you. I’m here to tell you if your reasons are not legit. I will fucking destroy you.” Good luck. You can’t destroy something that’s already broken.
