On average, what is the total MONTHLY amount that you spend on dining out*?

*(This doesn't only count going out to restaurants, but also stuff like picking up fast food to bring home, getting a coffee on the way to work, getting a premade sandwich from a grocery store deli during lunch, buying a quick snack from a convenience store or food cart whilst walking somewhere, ordering a pizza or any other food to be delivered to your home, etc.)

(I'm sure polls similar to this have been made before (very common topic), I just haven't personally seen one that I can remember, so, I was curious to do my own! I was discussing this with a group of people today and it was very interesting to see how widely the number varied between individuals. :0c )

here are some details to consider. you don’t have to have answers to all of them—or even any of them. I can make it up as I go if that's what you prefer. you can be as vague or specific as you want!

but hopefully this will help if you’re feeling specific:

brown or white clay

animal or object (or whatever you want its head to be)

pose

gender

body size and shape

visible genitalia, fluff, nothing

tail, no tail

texture (usually fur texture)

objects/accessories/little friends

mood

size (so far: smallest around 2”, largest around 10”. this will not be exact, just a ballpark)

writing (hidden on underside, usually)

colours

fur markings

body hair

tattoos - be aware that too much texture will make tattoos difficult to impossible

scars

piercings

wire loops to attach ribbons, bells, etc

glazed or underglazed

thinking about how canonically Kuboyasu and Nendo are GOOD at art 😭 like Kuboyasu knows how to draw and sculpted a perfect motorcycle ALSO wants to learn art at university if I’m not mistaken. And Nendou literally sculpted a FACE. Was it scary ? Yes. But do you know how HARD it is to sculpt a FACE ?? I work with clay and argile dude that’s so so hard holy shit ?

earlier this month i had the amazing opportunity to spend a week in southeastern alaksa for school (the last 3 credits of my associate's degree program!) learning about the ecology and history of the region.

it was a completely fucking jam-packed 8 days of hiking, tidepooling, fishing, kayaking, sightseeing and immersing in a part of the country you literally can't drive to (only fly or boat to). and at the end of it all i was able to contribute a little piece of my art to the lodge, presenting Salmuel the giant papier mâché salmon to our lovely hosts as thanks!! it was truly an unforgettable experience and the perfect capstone to my little degree program.

...but i think next time i have to bring a delicate art piece on a plane, i'll make one that's a little smaller and easier to handle LOL
