I wish the aesthetic lifestyle YouTubers would just call it fiction instead. I don't think there's currently an audience for tiny snippets of movie like idyllic life but there fucking should be. Having stuff titled like 'my day routine' knowing full well its filmed over a week or more just totally sours it for me. Like, look at this insanely complex breakfast I made on my normal day and all the beautiful chores in my already clean house- oh now its time for my intricate lunch- probably grabbing takeout to keep them going while filming bc it takes a hundred years 🙂
