A little behind our logo. As Koa and I have done everything together for this account, of course he helped design the logo. Actually he pretty much told me everything he wanted I didn’t have a great deal of choice! Lol. He wanted a rainbow. I wanted purple and pinks he wanted these colours, so guess what we went with lol. I actually love the muted tones that he chose anyway luckily! Lol. I explained that rainbows symbolise a lot of things. But one really special thing is that you always see a rainbow after a rainstorm, breaking through the clouds. So it symbolises that you can’t have a rainbow without a little rain {little Dolly Parton reference there lol}. Unfortunately Koa hasn’t seen a rainbow for about 2.5 years. I posted earlier today about having a day off today as a mental health day & I had a few DMs about people sharing how tough the motherhood gig is. And let’s be honest it is! We are all doing our best, want the best and try our best! But at times our best just doesn’t feel enough! When you’re feeling like this, remember everything is better with coffee, sleep, flowers and or wine! Lol Kidding! But actually it is! Take some time out, even if it’s half an hour! Treat yourself, rest, watch Netflix, catch up with a girlfriend, have a coffee in peace, take a bath, light a candle, read a magazine, go for a walk! Anything! Anything where you can catch your breath, reset, feel better and breathe. We are way to hard on ourselves and honestly we all deserve a break. Parents or not! Everyone! We all deserve it! This weekend was all about nature and adventure. Even though we live in Bali sometimes we take it for granted and do explore as much as we should. We still get caught up in the work, sleep, eat cycle. So this weekend we jumped on the scooter and headed out of Canggu to Yeh Gangga beach. There was an amazing snake built of bamboo, palm trees, rice paddies, black sand and sunshine! We explored for flowers and shells and Koa made an offering to the gods. He even found his very favourite thing! I dandelion wish on the beach {watch the video to see what he wishes for lol}. Sometimes you don’t realise how badly you need nature till you get out into!
