VOX MACHINA IDEAS THAT I PROBABLY WON'T WRITE, LOG 03
(Perc’ildan soulmate Au, barely seen anything with the soulmate tag for these two, wth? My idea is the usual cliché drama where one of the soulmates hates the other until they realize how a good person their mate is and feel guilty for being so mean to them, but with only 12 perc'ildan soulmate fics on ao3 and nothing even close to my idea I guess I have to put this here for some peace of mind 😫)
Percy and Vax are soulmates, some time after the twins are taken to Sylgorn, Percy’s name appears on Vax’s body. Syldor organizes a visit to Whitestone, happy that his son finally is useful to strengthen his political influence.
Vax is not happy at all when is decided that he must stay in Whitestone, but at least manages to convince Syldor to let Vex stay too. To him Percy is just another entitled annoying rich boy who has never worked a day in his life, so he tries very hard to be as unpleasant as possible so the de Rolos don’t want to have him there and be their son’s future husband anymore.
Syldor gets feed up and decides that Vex is going back to Syngorn and if he wants to see his sister again he has to behave. The twins can’t stand for this, so they plan to run away. Percy, who accidentally eavesdrops on their plans, is hurt that his soulmate hates him that much, he admits that he messed up sometimes by being arrogant and a little entitled, but he’s genuinely been trying to be kind and welcoming to the twins. But if they don’t want to stay, he won’t force them, and knows that Syldor is not a good person, so they are better off going back to their mother.
The night of the escape, while trying to sneak out, Percy catches them, but leads them to a secret passage that will take them out of the castle, and even gives them some gold for the trip. Percy pretends to be nonchalant about them leaving, he’s always been good at hiding his emotions. Vax leaves feeling very confused about Percy’s actions and attitude.
Some years pass, with Vax and Vex growing up and maturing. Vax remembers his time in Whitestone and feels so embarrassed and bad about his own attitude at the time, about how the de Rolos were actually good people despite being nobles, and how Percy was really trying to get to know and understand him.
They decided to go back to Whitestone to make amends, but the news about the de Rolos passing away and how the new rulers are not good at all shocks them, and Vax is left with the guilt that his soulmate died thinking he never cared for him.
Two more years pass, meet the rest of the group, and create VM. They find Percy in that cell, but he doesn’t seem to remember the twins at all, and when they eventually see Percy’s scarred body, they see that Vax’s name is gone, erased by the scars.
Vax is so very sad and conflicted, having to travel with his soulmate that has changed from that arrogant nerdy boy into a brooding quiet man that doesn’t remember him, but will protect Percy and be at his side, so nothing can ever hurt him again. Vax slowly falls in love with Percy, but doesn’t dare to say anything because he feels that Percy deserves someone better than him after abandoning Percy when he needed him the most all those years ago.
Vex is also sad and frustrated for them, quietly watching how the guilt is destroying her brother, and denying the happiness they both deserve. She gives Vax an ultimatum, either Vax tells Percy they are soulmates or she will, because things can’t go on like this anymore.
Then the Briarwoods appear and everything goes to hell.
(I'm so sorry if I made your eyes bleed for how my syntax is all over the place, english is not my 1st language, as you can tell 😅)

Now I have a Queen of the Underworld crossover idea with Percy!Skull and Tsuna dying in the Rings Battles which leads to Timoteo seeking a distant descendant of a hidden child of Setimo, 17-years old Luciana Allegri, daughter of the Italian Carmella Allegri and Hades (mind you, Percy!Skull is like 49, so Hades had her later than the PJO books, he is kinda allowed now, he is the only that didn't break the oath, so he is like...screw this, I am having a child and I have a thing for Italian women)
Luciana Allegri is literally the Princess of the actual greek Underworld, now she is the Queen of another criminal Underworld
Hades is excited about finally having his kid (not Ares's or Apollo's) , running the stuff for once. He is pretty much done with the Mafiosi in Tartarus.
Bermuda and the Vindice belong to Hades, Luciana is ordered to bring them back to the realm of dead
I think about paring her with a Japanese son of (Nyx? Thanatos? Hecate? Melinoe? I want a child of underworld too), Yoshida Kazue. Who is also Nana's half-brother from his father side, which created conflict because he kiled Tsuna and Kazue (their future Don) probally would want revenge on Iemitsu
She is also Hestia's champion, Hestia is upset about Flames begin used for bad like the Mafia and wishes for her niece to change it. She wanted Tsuna first, but then Reborn's careless training got the child killed
Giotto is a child of Apollo. So is Sephira (seer, guys), she is half-Atlantean. Giglio Nero...forgot their roots
Ricardo, Giotto's cousin? Ares's son, which make Iemitsu and Timoteo very distant legacies, not enough to be claimed.
I want Iepetus, now Bob, as her Rain. A Titan, amnesic or not, would drive Kawahira mad. Kazue is her Mist and fiance. A daughter of Apollo as the Sun.
Zeus is calmed down by Luciana promise of having his son (Jake Armani) as her right hand and Storm and Thalia as her Lightning
Kawahira is a Atlantian, Poseidon is going fucking murder him for going after his son, Poiseidon cursed a man and his entire crew because they crippled him son, Kawahira is fucked
Luciana is a clever girl, she is a demigoddess and the daughter of a king. Mortals, with Iris's blessing or not, are not match for a daughter of Hades

Funniest thing to me is when I tell people who my main book boyfriends are (Aaron Warner, Cardan Greenbriar and Percy Jackson) and they go:
"Lmao isn't Percy Jackson like the odd one out here? He's nothing like the other too, he's so nice"
...........my brother/sister/sibling in christ I agree he's nice but like...
Percy Jackson? The dude who obliterated Hades' army with his bare hands? The one who slaughtered half of Kronos' army while laughing? The boy who looks like a terrifying force of nature while fighting? The guy who was choking the goddess of misery with her own poison and tears while thinking, and I quote, "He wanted to see how much misery Misery could take"? The person who manipulated an amnesic Titan to kill his own brother?
That Percy Jackson? The odd one out in this group? The only reason he would be the odd one out is because he's the protagonist in his book series and wasn't mean to his s/o in the first few books
Because if not that, than we've read completely different books

Ok so I feel like Percy is gonna side eye Piper to hell and back if she ever gets any idea on what goes on in her little brain.
And I’m mostly saying this cause the moment Piper sees Percy she’s gonna go on one of her jealousy trains.
Percy is this powerful it girl, she’s also the camps sweetheart, not to mention the fact that Percy and Jason got compared in the books. But like in the books Piper wasn’t really empresses, but now she’s deff pulling some hair. Percy and Jason could be seen as a power couple ( I’m not shipping them I’m just kinda observing) and I can deff see some snark coming from Miss “ I’ll throw you in a catapult for glancing at the pretty amnesic boy “ to her own half sister 😭
also love your fic it makes me giggle 🤭
STOP THAT SCENE WITH HER THREATENING TO KILL DREW MADE ME GIGGLE 😭😭
no but seriously, i wish rick made her a psycho tbh 😩 she would've been actually so perfect for it, she was SO obsessed and possessive over jason and got so desperate to make sure he never regained his old memories but nooooo, it was never rick's intention to make her that way so it was never called out
but yeah you definitely bring out a good point. i actually forgot piper's thoughts about percy and how she didn't find him all that impressive but other than that, i don't think she had any issues with him?
but now that she's a GIRL here??? oh yeah, definitely 💀 it doesn't help that og!percy and jason were pretty good bros throughout the books, with a fem!percy, piper would NOT be happy about their bromance 😭😭😭

alright, i'll give you percy jackson propoganda
Percy took on Ares and won at the age of 12. he took on the Curse of Achilles at 15, and then destroyed Hades's army of undead, and held a sword to Hades's throat. Then led a demigod army to hold all of Manhattan against Kronos's army, and succeeded long enough to defeat Kronos.
Percy was born half-god. He made Mount Saint Helen's explode because his father is Poseidon, god of the sea yes, but also earthshaker. He can talk to all sea-life, breathe under water, and control the ocean. Annabeth, his girlfriend dropped her knife in the ocean while he was scouting and he immediately came to help her. He can make hurricanes.
Percy showed up to his own funeral after like 2 weeks of being presumably "dead." He also went to Tartarus, fought his way through hoards of monsters there, and then took the Doors of Death back up to the surface world (with Annabeth because we can't ignore her contributions, and an amnesic titan who he manipulated into helping him; adding that because he's also cunning and extremely street smart).

Fire and Honesty
Thanks for the support and the boundless patience, @authordgaster! I had a blast writing this and I hope you like it!
Summary: Percy had been together with Byleth since they were children, after they met completely by chance. He had a fiery personality to contrast with Byleth's apathy, and that brought him a fair amount of trouble...
Commission info HERE and HERE!
______________________________
Byleth had developed a liking for fishing from her father and mentor, Jeralt.
Ever since she was a young child, she liked to cast the hook and pass the time peacefully waiting for a bite in between training sessions. Jeralt would often be present with her, the both of them comfortable enough in their silence to spend hours beside each other without uttering a single word as they fished.
What Byleth never expected, however, was that she was going to end up fishing a boy out of the river one day.
She thought that the catch would be too much for her to handle as her fishing rod almost turned in on itself from the weight, but with Jeralt’s help, she managed to fish out the biggest catch of her life, quite literally: a boy a couple of years younger than her.
Confused at first, then startled, Byleth hurried to check for his pulse and breathing while Jeralt roared for one of the healers to come over.
The boy, sporting a bright red hair and quite a few wounds unbefitting of someone so young, woke up several hours later, amnesic and confused.
The first thing he saw was Byleth, who was holding his cold hand in hers.
“Big Sis…?” he mumbled in a confused fog, struggling to focus on the silhouette in front of him. Once he saw Byleth’s face, however, he squinted and shook his face. “No, you’re not…”
Byleth stood in silence waiting for him to get his bearings, but the boy never quite did.
“Wait, who are you? Where’s this?” he sat up quickly, feeling dizzy and nauseous. “Urk what… happened to me.”
“I fished you out of the river,” Byleth said matter of factly. “How did you get there? Do you remember anything?”
Holding his aching head, the boy lowered his gaze. “I…” he didn’t even remember calling Byleth ‘big sister’ earlier either; perhaps that had been the last bit of his former self ebbing through his lips as his memory faded to oblivion, perhaps forever. “I don’t know. What’s going on?!”
“You’re fiery for someone as small as you, aren’t you, kid?” Jeralt walked in on that moment. “Maybe it’s the hair.”
The boy flinched, hiding behind Byleth’s shoulder as Jeralt approached. “Who’re you? What have you done to me?”
Jeralt snorted, glancing at Byleth as she shrugged and shook her head in response.
“My kid fished you outta the river. Before asking anything, did you thank her yet? If it weren’t for her, you’d be fish food by now.”
The boy widened his eyes. “I thought that was a joke,” he looked at the expressionless Byleth. Seeing no lie in her gaze, the boy lowered his in a humble bow. “I’m sorry I didn’t take you seriously… And thanks for saving me; I’m Percy.”
“So you do remember something,” Byleth commented.
“Oh!” Percy blinked. “Maybe that was all, though. My head hurts like hell.”
“Hah!” Jeralt scoffed. “What a potty-mouthed kid you hooked up, Byleth.”
Percy’s face flushed, but he kept a grumpy frown, hiding behind Byleth’s shoulder again. She placed one hand on his, shaking her head as if telling him not to mind Jeralt’s teasing.
“Dad, he doesn’t remember anything. Can we keep him?”
“What, is he a pet now, or something?” Jeralt sat on the bed, making it sink towards him. “Let the kid heal. Maybe he’ll remember something later.” He patted Byleth’s head. “You wouldn’t wanna keep him away from his family, right?”
Byleth looked down, introspective. “Hm…”
Jeralt knew that look, so he just shifted his attention to the puffed up stray cat of a kid behind her. “Percy, right? Don’t force yourself for now, just take it easy. We’re not leaving this place until we finish the job anyway, so you can stay until then.”
“Job?” Percy’s ears perked up, though he still warily kept himself behind Byleth.
“We’re mercenaries,” Byleth replied before Jeralt could.
“I am a mercenary,” he corrected, pointing his thumb at himself. “The kid’s here’s still a recruit,” he pointed to Byleth, then told her, “don’t be too hasty in putting yourself out there, kid. You’ve gotta train a lot more ‘till you’re useful.”
Byleth nodded, unfazed.
“Wow, you’re almost my age and you’re already training to be a mercenary? That’s cool…” Percy’s eyes sparkled as he looked at the pensive Byleth. Jeralt smiled at the scene, seriously taking Byleth’s earlier request into consideration.
For the next few days, Percy’s memory showed no sign of returning, even after his wounds were healed to an extent. Healing magic wasn’t all-powerful and even if it were, high-ranking Healing magic wasn’t really something Jeralt’s mercenaries knew how to do, so their first and subsequent aids on Percy’s wounds left much to be desired.
He was left with sequelae on his right arm, making him unable to properly hold a weapon for the rest of his life.
Far from being affected by it, however, Percy took it all in stride. He had no previous self to compare himself to, nor did he know what he specialized in before he lost his memories, so he considered himself to be a blank slate ready to be molded by training.
Since he was young and had to convalesce, he was unable to start training as early as he wanted, though Byleth sneaked in some practice with him after she was done with hers. She figured that since he couldn’t hold a weapon, he should just hit the enemies with his fist, so she taught him the basics of what she knew.
Days turned to weeks that turned to months, and Percy’s presence was no longer a novelty to the mercenaries — Jeralt had allowed him to join as an apprentice, finally stopping pretending not to know that Byleth had started training him behind everyone’s backs.
As the years passed, Percy realized he had a hidden power within himself — the power of a Crest. Since neither Jeralt nor any of the adults at the mercenary band cared much about Crests and what not, Percy asked Byleth to help him find out what kind of Crest that was.
It took a long time of visiting local libraries and talking with any available scholars around the cities they were stationed at, but eventually the pair narrowed down Percy’s Crest down to one: The Crest lost to history, the one that belonged to Ernest.
If Percy had been in an environment around people who were passionate about Crestology, just that discovery would be enough to warrant a lifetime of study. However, since they were only teens looking for the answer of a single question, they felt accomplished after knowing its name only.
Along with the power of the Crest, Percy realized he also had an affinity with Fire magic, though, again, since the mercenary band lacked mages or scholars, Percy had to teach himself how to use it. Eventually, he incorporated the fiery magic to the hand-to-hand combat he had been specializing in since childhood to effectively punch people with fire.
It was a very useful skill, especially in the hands of someone as hot-headed as Percy… or so he thought, anyway.
After stopping by Remire village to finish up a job, Jeralt’s mercenary band would bump into the ace of Berling’s Mercenaries, a purple-haired man called Shez, just as a trio of noble students were being attacked by a pack of bandits. As if Fate had willed it, Byleth, Percy, Shez and Jeralt fought back against the bandits led by Kostas and ended up saving the heirs to the Kingdom, to the Empire and to the Alliance in one fell swoop.
Since Byleth had grown into the vice-captain of the mercenary band, she took most of the credit for the tactics used in that battle, being ultimately invited to be a teacher at Garreg Mach Monastery, where the three heirs studied. Percy followed her with the ease of habit, enrolling into the school as a student alongside Shez, who would stay with them from thereafter.
Percy, despite his initial bluntness, was a man who was fiercely loyal to those he deemed worthy. He followed Byleth into the Black Eagles class and mingled with the students there without a single speck of care towards lineage or nobility.
He just cared about the person themselves and how they acted towards others in their own ways.
Thus, he could not stand people to whom being a noble or being with a noble was above treating people decently, and he was not shy about voicing such thoughts either. Conversely, he got along well with people similar to him: loyal and/or honest. Honesty was a complex act, but Percy knew a kindred spirit when he saw one.
Perhaps that was why his first instinct was to run towards Bernadetta’s scream the moment he heard it when he was exiting the training ground with Shez.
“Percy? Hey!” Surprised by Percy’s sudden bolt, it took Shez a moment to run after him.
Percy ran at full speed towards the dorms — that was where Bernadetta would be without a doubt — as fire magic started to swirl around his fists.
He wasn’t one to think too much before acting.
He saw Bernadetta as a small rodent who needed ultimate protection, and hearing her scream made all alarms inside his brain to sound off, shutting down any coherent thought before it was even created.
“Bernadetta!!” He yelled, his voice reaching her before he did.
“P-Percy! Help!!” the girl wailed, her voice struggling to come out.
Someone else’s voice gasped as if wronged, “w-what? Why’re you calling for help like that? Just come out here so we can talk!”
Seeing red, Percy sped up towards Bernadetta’s room, only to find a chaotic scene: the door had been smashed to pieces, and a long-haired blonde girl was manhandling Bernadetta at the door frame.
“Ingrid! What the fuck d’you think you’re doing?!” Percy held onto a pillar to brake his sprint, using the momentum to throw himself between the two girls. “Let her go!” He bellowed, his hands burning with fire magic as he gripped on one of Ingrid’s wrists.
“Ack- ouch! You’re burning me!” Ingrid flinched, letting go of Bernadetta so as to push Percy out of her way. “What’re you doing?!”
“Shut up! I’m the one asking the questions here, you crazy bitch!” Percy forced himself to stay between Bernadetta, who cowered back into her room, and Ingrid, who stepped back into the corridor as she held onto her burned wrist. “What d’you think you’re doing, breaking the kid’s door like that?! Is there a fire? Are you the fucking headmaster? No, even if you were the headmaster, what right do you have to destroy a peson’s fucking door like that?!” he yelled, louder and louder, filling the entire corridor with heated energy.
His hands were shining in a bright red — if one would touch them right now, they would certainly melt.
Filled with terror, but too certain in her point to back down, Ingrid shakily took a step forward. “I was doing it to help her! Staying cooped up in her room is not going to do anything good to her. She needs to get out, get some air, get some training; anything! Staying in there isn’t the answer!” Ingrid screamed back, getting more confident with each word she uttered.
Ingrid knew how it felt to want to run away from the world and stay under the covers for the rest of one’s life. She knew how that could end up.
So, she did what she thought was right: she was going to drag Bernadetta out of that room by force if it meant helping her see what was wrong with her.
“You’re fucking delusional.” Percy spat on the floor right beside Ingrid’s foot. He took a step forward to her, his hands already crackling with energy, but a shaky touch on his back made him stop.
“P-Percy…” Bernadetta sniffled behind him, shaking like a leaf.
That made him both calmer and angrier at the same time. He couldn’t see the logic of Ingrid’s train of thought, especially when he saw how frightened Bernadetta was; but he also wasn’t a complete moron enough to jeopardize his own position by attacking another student like that.
So, he managed to take a deep breath and calm himself.
Yet, he also shook with rage the longer he looked at the trembling Bernadetta and the unapologetic Ingrid.
“Fucking crazy,” he stomped out into the corridor, forcibly bumping into Ingrid, who lost her footing and collapsed on the floor in shock.
Shez arrived at that moment, seeing Percy leaving, taking the heated energy with him. There was only a cold corridor left in his wake.
“What the hell happened?!” Shez huffed. “Did Percy do this?” he pointed at the broken door, not putting it past Percy to do it, knowing him.
“N-no! He saved me,” Bernadetta cowered, running behind Shez. “He wasn’t the one who broke the door.”
Seeing the interaction and how Bernadetta’s terrified gaze landed on her, Ingrid started feeling that she perhaps had done something wrong. She shakily got to her feet. “She’s right, it wasn’t him. I did it.”
Shez widened his eyes in surprise, but the moment he looked at Ingrid to ask the reason why, he saw the burned bits of Ingrid’s sleeve. “Wait, you’re hurt! Was that—”
Ingrid hid her hand behind her back. “It was nothing.”
“Don’t give me that, you gotta—” The moment Shez was about to step towards her to take her to a healer, a loud explosion sounded on the second floor of the dormitory, right above them. “What the f—”
“Kyaaa!” Bernadetta ran back to her room, hiding beneath the covers as pieces of shattered glass showered the ground in front of the corridor.
Rubble and a large piece of broken wood fell on top of the glass. At closer inspection the piece of wood was nothing other than a door, much like the one Ingrid had destroyed just a few minutes previous.
From above them, behind the destroyed window frame of Ingrid’s room, Percy leaped out, landing on top of the ruined door. The shouting had already attracted a small gathering, but the explosion called a large group of people to huddle around and see what had happened.
Amidst the dust, smoke and his own flames, Percy looked like either a deity dealing diving punishment or a devil ready to drag Ingrid down to hell with him.
“You pull this stunt again with anyone and it’s gonna be you here next time,” he stomped on the door beneath his feet, making it crack and burn to ash. “You hear?”
Shaking, but not about to be intimidated, Ingrid stepped forward angrily.
“What right do you have to call me out like that? I was just trying to help a classmate.”
“Help my ass, lady! Look at how terrified she is! Is your concept of help skewed or something in that pretty head of yours? Do knights in your Kingdom drag people out of their rooms by force to help them ‘see the error of their ways’?! I bet the fuck not!” He pointed at her chest, pushing her out of his way so he could head back to Bernadetta’s room. “What you’ve done here was something a bully would do, not a knight. You preach about wanting to be a great knight or whatever and look at you now! Pulling a screaming girl out of her room just ‘cause you think you’re right. Right my fucking ass!”
Ingrid opened her mouth to retort, but the blow to her convictions and pride had hit right where it hurt. She looked around the mess she had made, then to the mess he had made with her own door and to the crowd of onlookers around.
Feeling small and ashamed, Ingrid turned around and left, running to nowhere in particular.
“Hey, wait!” Shez looked at her, then glanced at Percy and Bernadetta before going after her. She was still hurt, so he would at least check on her. The mess here was out of his hands.
Percy entered Bernadetta’s room with soft steps, his hands extinguishing the flames before touching on the covers under which she hid.
She flinched with his touch, shrieking. “N-no!”
“Sorry, Bernadetta. It’s me,” he said softly, sitting on the bed as she scooted away from him. “I’m sorry I scared you like that. Are you okay? Did you get burned at all?”
Bernie shook her head in response, sniffling as he softly patted her head.
“That’s good. I’m gonna go call Raphael and Leonie to see if they can help fix up your door right away. I’ll be going now,” he said as he got up slowly. Once he stepped out of the room, he roared to the crowd. “What’re you looking at? Scram!” He stomped on the ground, making the students disperse like a flock of birds.
One person amidst them did not move, however.
It was Byleth, who had her arms crossed and her brow sported a frown.
“... Oh, crap.”
No matter how long they’ve been together, Percy’s actions were inexcusable, and Byleth had to exercise her authority as a Professor to punish him. Ingrid had done something similar, but since that had been a spat between nobles, it was over with after a pat on the back.
In Percy’s case, however, since he was a commoner who had not only attacked a noble but also destroyed a noble’s propriety, he had to be punished accordingly.
… Well, if he was going to actually be punished by the Kingdom’s law, he would have to receive a few lashes and work under Ingrid for a few years to pay back the damages, but since they were at a teaching institution, the punishment was rather light in comparison. He would have to help install another door and build the window frame himself and he would help the servants with cleaning the noble students’ dormitory for the remainder of his stay as a student at Garreg Mach.
Between that, classes, training and monthly missions, Percy was in for one hell of a busy year, just as the battle of the Eagle and Lion approached.

prompt: could you rewrite that amnesic Percy and ambassador Nico "first meeting" in the son of Neptune? except that, here, they're the same age and started dating just like Annabeth and Percy in canon. I m basically asking you to remake the canonical story to heal my heart 💔. Imagine a world where the series are not a complete disappointment romantically speaking. Nico and Percy are THE couple everyone is rooting for, Annabeth is actually a cool character of her own with a wholesome friendship with both Percy and Nico and no stupid son of Appollo.
“This is Percy Jackson,” Hazel presented him. “He’s a good guy. Percy, this is my brother, the son of Pluto.”
For a second, the boy's face matched his. The shock, the recognition, the longing. All the feelings Percy felt when he first saw the boy in the distance.
The next second it was gone. The boy held out his hand.
"Pleased to meet you," he said, voice tight. "I'm Nico di Angelo."
Percy frowned and took his hand, but instead of shaking it, he entwined their fingers together, making Nico's eyes widen.
"I know you, though," Percy said, pleased to see their hands still were a perfect fit. "You are important to me."
"W-what?" Nico asked, stuttering a bit.
"I'm so sorry!" Hazel said quickly, looking between the two of them. "Percy lost his memories, he doesn't know—"
"I remember some things," Percy said. "I remember your hands, gripping mine. I remember you, at a campfire, with a giant dog."
He got so close to the son of Pluto a true stranger would have taken a step back. He didn't know why, but something told him that Nico didn't want anyone to know the thing he would say next.
"I remember kissing you right after you finished a blue cake," he whispered against his ear. When he stepped back, he was blushing and looking at Hazel in panic, but she just looked bemused. "I remember liking it," he said in a louder voice.
Yes, he remembered a lot about Nico, even when his name had slipped his mind. He didn't know what sort of relationship they had, if they were together in secret, publicly or just friends fooling around.
But that Nico was important to him was never in question.
Nico's lip trembled.
"Percy I..." Nico turned around and gave deep, long breaths. "There's a lot I can't talk about. A lot I can't say. You... you will remember eventually."
"Help me?" He asked, pouting a bit. He knew from his memories Nico couldn't resist that. "All I know is that someone named Gaia is raising armies and marching against us."
"Gaia is the Earth goddess," he said, biting his lip. Percy remembered it used to be him doing that. "She urged her son Saturn to kill his father and take over, and after a long age, he and the Titans were deposed by the Olympians."
Percy blinked. He felt like he had heard this before.
"Gaia didn't like that," Nico continued. "So she took a new husband, Tartarus, and had the Giants, to attack the Olympians."
As Nico kept talking, Percy couldn't help but picture himself at 14, watching as Nico overexplained monsters and myths to him while fighting or running from danger.
"The real issue isn't the Giants or Gaia though," Hazel said. "It's that monsters refuse to stay dead. If a monster army is on its way then... there's no way we can win. We —Nico and I— think it's because Death—"
They were interrupted by Frank's shout. He hurried after Percy to get him ready to present him formally to the Legion. Percy looked back at Nico, worried.
"About us—"
"Later," Nico said. He seemed to hesitate before grabbing his hand and squeezing it. "I promise, Perseus."
And just like that, by saying his full name, Percy knew Nico meant it. Nico let go and he turned to speak to Hazel.
Percy sighed and followed after Frank.

i don’t think the seven were made aware of all the shit percy went through before the events of HoO. at least i don’t recall it happening
like sure, leo, piper and jason might have heard about it from the other campers, but let’s be honest, at that moment the main worry was to find him. they knew him as annabeth’s missing boyfriend
frank and hazel saw him being a badass right away, but an amnesic badass who couldn’t share the tales of his past victories. they might have even thought he went through a training similar to jason’s
but now i wanna know how they’d react to it

«Question: Is amnesia a favorite device in fiction and especially soap operas because
(a) The character in the soap opera is sick and tired of himself and his life and wants a change.
(b) The writer is sick and tired of his character and wants a change.
(c) The writer is sick and tired of himself and his life and wants a change.
(d) The reader or moviegoer or TV-viewer is sick and tired of himself and his life and wants a change—and the housewife is the sickest and tiredest of all.
(e) The times are such that everyday life for everybody is more or less intolerable and one is better off wiping out the past and starting anew.
(CHECK ONE)
[…] Thought Experiment: Test your response to vicarious loss of self by imagining amnesia raised to the highest power. Imagine a soap opera in which a character awakens every morning with amnesia, in a strange house with a strange attractive man (or woman), welcomed by the stranger, looking out a strange window with a strange view, having forgotten the past each morning and starting life afresh, seeing the window, the view, himself, herself, in the mirror afresh and for the first time. Does this prospect intrigue you? If it does, what does this say about your non-amnesic self?»

Among family, PJO
K:-I want the AU, where upon running away from home, Thalia, Luke and Annabeth ended up at the roman camp.
E:-Okay that would be interesting
K:-Jason gets to grow up more with his sibling!
(Spoilers ahead)
…I haven't read the newer Rick Riordan series, but was reading the Wiki and apparently Jipper broke up, cause Piper worried about how real It was (and how involved her mom was in it or something) and now Piper is dating a native girl, and she and her dad are reconnecting with their heritage.
Can't believe that's how I found out Piper was bi!
E:-Piper is omg!
K:-Anyway, good that she and her dad moved and are connecting to their heritage.
E:-Thats great!!
I shipped Jason and Percy for a while when I was younger! Dunno why. Bromance!
K:- why not? Jason x rock is a thing.
E:-Does my irrational crackships ever need to be justified?
K:-I toyed with the idea of ghost Luke x Jason
E:-Oh yeah!! Hehe ghost ships.A very light relationship! Jason can see right through Luke!
K:-Luke shows up from the dead mad that the gods are not upholding their promise to Percy. And also that Percy is missing, and meets this confused amnesic.
E:-Omg! He's so mad he escaped the underworld for this bullshit!
K:-What's Hades going to do? Send Nico? He's not here! Also the solstice is distracting. He would know.
E:-Hades calling Hermes while sunbathing under the burning flames. "So your kid decided to bust out since none of us are responsible."
"Apollo is missing"
"This isn't about him and his own absent parenting."
K:- burn. Luke ends up on the quest. No one can disadude him, since he's a ghost. What's  it going to do, kill him?
E:-Self burn are rare.
What they're gonna do? Burn sage in front of him?
K:-Exactly! Luke gets to be the funny one on this quest, since none of the newbs brought their funny ADHD game with them.
E:-He'll be the clown on this quest.
He raised most of those kids at camp he has experience.
K:- He has to be
E:-The actual father figure jk jk
K:-Piper:- no mom I don't need a mom, I have two dad's now. Human dad and ghost dad. Sure I had a crush on ghost dad's boyfriend, but I have embraced the unconventional family unit.
E:-A family can be made up of a girl and her dad and her adopted ghost dad with his boyfriend.
K:- Annabeth should have gone on the quest so she could tell off at Hera at the end.
Luke and Annabeth team up with the newbs to throw shade.
E:-Oh she totally should have. "Oh man fixing a thankless gods mistake again? Must be a tuesday "

Instead of doing the leader swap, imagine Percy and Jason getting to know each other and becoming allies and being Ohh so the greeks/Romans exist and they cool we should be friends.
I dunno the idea of Juno just throwing Percy at an amnesic Jason like be friends or else and he's just like, sure why not.
Is both peak commedy and it would've been so effective.

Could you make more Amnesiac!Percy?
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5
Percy looked over the map, at the library, of Agea. He was looking for the name of the town he grew up in, Mare. He knew it was by the ocean and it was decent size.
“Did you find it?” Annabeth asked, coming over with some books. She was working at the library and was re-shelving books. “Your town I mean.”
“No.” Percy replied. “I can’t find Mare anywhere.”
Annabeth put the books down on Percy’s table and took a peek over his shoulder. Her hand ran over the map, as if she knew where to look. As she looked over the map, her hand brushed Percy’s. A small shock went through her hand.
Static electricity. She thought. The paper is old and I’ve been moving my hand around.
Her feelings for Percy have been pushed down for the past couple of days. She knew it was bound to happen, get feelings for Percy. He’s been living with her and she started to see Percy as a great guy before she found out the truth about him.
So yes, she had feelings for him now. But he was going to go back home and be the hero he was suppose to be. He would forget about her once she helped him get home.
“Found it.” Annabeth said, pointing to a dot about a centimeter in diameter. “It’s on the east side of the kingdom. So it’ll be a couple days to get there.”
Percy looked at the map then back at Annabeth. “I think I know how to get there less than a couple of days.”
“How?” Annabeth asked.
Percy smiled a bit. “I got some friends in the sea that could help us out. Ever heard of hippocampi?”
“Yes. But they aren’t real.” She replied.
Percy just grinned. His green eyes sparkling.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Percy led Annabeth to the ocean in the middle of the night. He was holding her hand so she couldn’t get lost.
They got to the ocean and Percy let go of Annabeth’s hand. He turned to smile at her.
“Watch this.” He told her before bringing his his two pointer fingers to mouth and whistling. The whistle ran through the town, possibly scaring some people who couldn’t sleep.
Percy stared at the ocean before a creature slowly emerged from the water.
Annabeth stared in shock as a black hippocampi appeared before them. It was gorgeous. She walked over and gently touched the creature. The hippocampi nuzzled her hand.
“Annabeth, this is Blackjack. He’s my trusty stead.” Percy walked over and greeted his horse by petting the black horse’s nose. “We’re going to visit my mom boy. We’re going home.”
He helped Annabeth get on Blackjack before getting on himself. He gently patted the neck before Blackjack took off.
“He’s not going to go underwater, is he?” Annabeth asked.
“No. He’s going to stay above water for you.” Percy grinned.
He loved the feeling of ocean mist on his face. It just reminded him of home. His home in Mare where he use to play by the beach when he was little. It brought back so many good memories.
But he was headed back home. Home to his mother. And where he knew someone evil was waiting for him to arrive.
The Villain and the Hero
Sooome more teasing! Because that really came short in the past few days! For my upcoming superhero Nicercy AU “Of Heroes, Villains and Whatever Nico Wants to Be”.
Nico, a villain but really mostly because he dislikes the way superheroes are handled and how they so blindly trust the gouvernment, is injured during the attack of one of those actual supervillains and loses his memories..
Percy, better known as the heroic Atlantean and part of the Olympian League, saves lives on both jobs. Not just as a hero, but also as a paramedic. Because half his team works at the local hospital and the police station. And when he finds this charming, amnesic Italian guy, he gets a little over-invested...
“You're loitering. Do stop loitering in my ER”, requested the head of the ER.
“Doctor Simmons, I just wish we would be able to help with your awful, serious condition”, sighed Percy dramatically. “Alas, I suppose that stick up your ass, not even a world-class surgeon like Doctor Castellan could remove it, despite multiple attempts.”
Octavian Simmons turned to glare pointedly at Percy, while a giggling Piper grabbed him by the arm and pulled him along and away from the doctor who was five seconds from either throwing Percy out of the hospital or publicly spanking him.
“Rachel, love of my life”, declared Percy as they reached the reception.
The head-nurse looked up with both eyebrows raised. “Let me guess: You pissed Tav off again and so he will not let you close to that patient you two brought in earlier?”
“You know me like no one else does, Rach”, grinned Percy. “Any news on him?”
Rachel leveled a glare at him. “I can not give you information on patients, Percy. You know that. What I can do is take Tav out for lunch so you can sneak past him and talk to your patient yourself.”
“You truly are the best”, smiled Percy happily.
“I'll get started on paperwork”, snorted Piper and shook her head fondly.
Percy smiled brightly as he bounced on the balls of his feet before making his way to the stranger's room. It was just that Percy wanted to see if the poor guy was alright. He had seemed rather out of it earlier. Sneaking into the room, Percy tilted his head thoughtfully.
“My angel...”, whispered the man in the hospital bed in awe. “You were real.”
Percy's cheeks darkened. And then there was that. Angel. What a charmer.
“I'm not an angel. I'm a paramedic”, corrected Percy with a smile. “How are you doing? Feel any better yet? You were in the middle of the attack, you know?”
“So I've been told”, sighed the man, running his fingers through his dark curls. “I don't remember a thing. And... I mean it. They say my name is Niccoló di Angelo, according to my ID. But that's it. So, aside from the sore ribs and the lack of any memories at all, I'm doing great.”
“You... don't remember anything?”, asked Percy worried, sitting down next to the bed.
“Nothing”, sighed Niccoló, staring out of the window with a forlorn look on his face. “I don't know why I was there. I don't know who I am. And... there's no one.”
“What does that mean?”, asked Percy confused.
“I don't have any emergency contacts listed. They tried finding someone, but apparently my entire family has already died years ago”, muttered Niccoló. “It seems... I'm all alone.”
“Well. Not anymore”, declared Percy with a bright smile, thrusting his hand out. “Hello. I'm Percy Jackson. It's a pleasure to meet you. I love making new friends.”
Niccoló turned to him with a tentative, small smile as he slowly took the offered hand. “I'm... Niccoló di Angelo, or so I'm told. It's... nice to meet you too, Percy.”
“Niccoló”, repeated Percy with a frown. “Mh. How about Nico? Sounds good?”
“Nico”, echoed the dark-haired man on the bed thoughtfully. “Nico. It sounds... Yes. Good.”
“Perfect”, smiled Percy pleased. “Listen, I gotta get back to work, but I promise I'll drop by again.”
“I'll be... looking forward to that”, smiled the newly nicknamed Nico pleased.
