No cuz like it’s crazy cuz like now that I think about it… Sadie with Amethyst is so cute. Like while Sadie is still workin and covering for Lars they could’ve formed that hopeless lesbian couple trope of Amethyst is clearly in love love with Sadie but Sadie likes Lars. Amethyst helps Sadie with working while talking shit about Lars. And Sadie defends him. And then those moments happen where Lars is mask off mean to her and Amethyst comforts her. And gets hope thinking that it means soemthing. That bcuz she’s the one that Sadie ran to that it means she’s special to her. But then Lars apologizes and it’s like back to square one. Then there’s the whole Lars gets stuck in space thing and Amythyst jokingly does the “look I’m Donut boy!” Thing and transforms into him. Except instead of trauma or annoyance or sadness. Sadie… likes it? After that’s they have dates. Like romantic dates. Where Sadie says how much she loves Amethyst….. while she’s transformed into Lars. They do have dates where they’re themself it’s just… normal hang outs though. As if it only counts as a date when Amethyst is Lars. And Then Lars comes back! And he’s all like “ive missed you so much! And becuz of these letters that we’ve been sending to each other via STEVEN it gave me the courage and motivation to come home!” Only to find out Sadie is dating Amythyst. To which Sadie was not going to acknowledge but she didn’t have the chance to run into his arms bcuz she was in the middle of holding hands with Amethyst. Lars saw that and got annoyed. The next few hours of celebration included Lars and Amethyst being passive aggressive with each other and Sadie on stage with her band. And after that Sadie breaks up with Amethyst. To be with Lars who ditches her to be in space. Sadie tries to run to Amethyst, like she always does, and Amethyst says no. She’s not her friend who she can run to when Lars is mean to her. They had a relationship and Sadie broke her heart to be with Lars. She can’t also pick up the pieces of Sadie’s heart when hers is still broken as well. Then Sadie leaves town with her Band. To come back 15 years later where Sadie apologizes to Amethyst for how she treated her. And everything she did. Then introduced Amethyst to her wife. Someone who looks eerily similar to Amethyst, purple hair. It’s giving Pearls Mystery Girl kind of vibes. Not like in looks but you know vibes?
