Description
Love, The Duke is the final novel in the historical romance Say I Do trilogy about dukes needing to wed to tap into their wealth.
When the Duke of Hurstbourne receives a letter from his childhood friend asking him to marry his sister Ophelia, Hurst declines. He’s not adverse to taking a bride, but he believes in love at first sight that stirs his desire—not marriage sight-unseen.
Adhering to society’s strict propriety for ladies, Ophelia Stowe has no choice but to present herself as a man to seek the Duke of Hurstbourne’s favor. If not for the dire situation she finds herself in, she wouldn’t have asked for help from the handsome man who had rebuffed her. When the alluring duke’s response is a plan of his own, Ophelia never dreams it would be a proposal of a marriage of convenience.
But the stakes are high, and the good name of the Stowe family will be damaged if a missing antiquity isn’t found. When she accepts his offer, she quickly finds she isn’t immune to the passion building between her and her new husband--or how real the marriage begins to feel.
My Review
5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is a beautifully crafted, entertaining, well written historical romance that was full of witty banter, humor, passion, stolen kisses, desire, love and adventure!
This is Drake Cheston Kingsley, Duke of Hurstbourne, and Miss Ophelia Stowe’s journey and it was a captivating and breathtaking story that I didn’t want to end.
Hurst being the only eligible duke in all of England, has had fathers, brothers, uncles, as well as strangers approaching him with promises of lucrative dowries in exchange for marrying their daughters.
But he wasn’t willing to settle for just any lady he could live with. Hurst wanted the one lady he couldn’t live without, and he always believed he would know her when he saw her.
Miss Ophelia Stowe was desperate for his help the night she showed up at the Duke of Hurstborne’s home dressed as a man. The Duke was the same man who her brother had written to on his death bed, requesting him to marry her as payment for saving his life.
Now she needed his help so that her brother Winston’s impeccable name and legacy wouldn’t be tarnished forever with the priceless chalice missing and time was of the essence!
“I want you to help me find the chalice and return it to the church before anyone knows it is missing.“
These two were perfect for each other. The banter was snarky, witty and engaging, their sensual awareness between them was palpable. From their first encounter they had me giddy, smiling and swooning as they charmed their way into my heart and soul. This story has it all and it was a fantastic ending to this series!
I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

The third in a series that can be read as a stand-alone we follow Brina as she navigated life after the death of her husband in a seafaring accident years ago. She is a well respected widow that enjoys running her school for girls as well as helping the local nunnery with their charitable works. After a run in with Zane, the new Earl of Blacknight, at a masked ball feelings long thought gone arise. Zane promises to mend his rakish ways in a bet to win her hand in marriage. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I was so hoping that Brina would find her happily ever after as she was so lost and unsure of her place in the world after the loss of her husband. Zane struggles to find his place within his family and in his mew unexpected role as head of the family. Together they help each other overcome obstacles and find solace in each other’s company. What a delightful ending to a wonderful series. #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookreview #bookreviewer #bookblog #bookblogger #bookrecommendations #bookdragon #bookwitch #historicalromance #historicalromancenovel #ameliagrey #howtotrainyourearl #netgalley #arc #happilyeverafter https://www.instagram.com/p/CMzaZsyLrHB/?igshid=8ksgq74rt7rf

The Earl Next Door by Amelia Grey
Tumblr media
Erica gave the Historical Romance The Earl Next Door by Amelia Grey 4 stars, saying “Adeline and Lyon did seem a bit boring, and I say that in a positive way, even if it doesn't sound like it. It was a more mature take on the mating dance and romance, where they were honest and didn't get in their own way.” Head over to the blog to find out what else she had to say about book 1 in the First Comes Love series.

Kissing Under The Mistletoe - 2021
I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an advance reader copy of this story.
Available on 9-28-2021, Kissing Under The Mistletoe is a anthology of short stories for the Christmas season. Three romance writers have each provided a story revolving around love for the best present ever. I enjoyed all three but I will admit that one was my favorite. A plus to these Christmas book is that the story will usually involve secondary or new characters in an existing series. It's fun to catch up on what's going on while being involved in a new romance. I thought this was a thoroughly enjoyable read.

The truth, however, is that Garrett has but one mistress: the wide-open sea. That is, until he meets Julia, whose spirit of independence matches his own. What begins as a flirtatious battle of wits turns far more passionate than either of them could have imagined. Description
Sincerely, The Duke is the second novel in the historical romance Say I Do trilogy about dukes needing to wed to tap into their wealth by New York Times bestselling author Amelia Grey.
Miss Edwina Fine has one shot at finding a husband before the ton learns her secret. With red hair, green eyes and being one of triplets, she knows the superstitions and rumors about women like her. So when a marriage proposal from the Duke of Stonerick arrives by mail, Edwina jumps at the chance to solve her problems. But nothing could prepare her for the attraction that sparks between them when they finally meet. It will take more than Edwina’s wit to navigate her past, reservations about marriage and the passion that ignites within her for the irresistible duke.
Rick, Duke of Stonerick, enjoys his life exactly as it is: honing his expert marksmanship, playing cards and fencing with his friends. He even enjoys exchanging affectionate humor with his mother about his lack of matrimonial engagement. But when a recurring illness reminds Rick he has no heir, he picks a name from the list of prospects his mother presents and writes a simple marriage proposal. Then he forgets about it―until that very lady with an iron will and breathtaking bravery shows up at his doorstep, ready to accept. Edwina tempts him like no other and suddenly, marriage doesn’t seem much of an inconvenience after all. But will keeping his illness a secret cost him her love?
My Review
5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely loved this story! It is entertaining, engaging, well written, witty, and a heart warming romance!
There is so much going on in this story that I adored, the secrets and the superstitions regarding these three sisters were just so cleverly done that it kept a smile on my face. The wedding night information that the heroine received from her chamber maid was definitely entertaining as well.
But mostly it is the main characters that kept me glued to the pages. My heart would take flight each time these two were in a scene together. Their bantering so charming and their allure for one another breathtaking. I was pulled in immediately and never wanted it to end.
This is Rick, Duke of Stonerick and Miss Edwina Fine’s journey and I loved every moment of it. If you are a fan of historical romance then this is the book for you!
I received an early copy and this is my honest review.

Lovely story!! Our young widow is at the mercy of her father in-law as she desperately searches for a way for her and her young son to be free from his harsh clutches. Our hero has been travelling the globe establishing his business and earning his own way in the world. When they meet it’s like fireworks and the chemistry between the two is palpable. They both must work together to overcome their personal demons and free themselves to be together. I loved this story. It was well written and the main characters were witty, charming, strong, and determined. The ending was just what I was looking for and I look forward to seeing what happens to Julia’s friend, Brina, as she deserves happiness. #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookrecommendations #bookrecommendation #bookreview #bookreviewer #bookblogger #bookblog #book #bookdragon #bookwitch #booklr #booklover #booknerd #netgalley #gonewiththerogue #ameliagrey #historicalromance #historicalromancenovel #historicalromancereaders #historicalromanceauthors https://www.instagram.com/p/B-NKobpgkds/?igshid=iac0nis39pfl

Review:  Gone With The Rogue
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this book.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Gone With The Rogue, by Amelia Grey, will be available at booksellers on 4-28-2020.  Rogue is book 2 in Ms Grey's First Comes Love series.  Although a second series book there are different characters so it's a fine stand-alone story.  There's only a tad bit of reference to the first book and that explains how the three ladies came together, became friends, and entered in an endeavor together.  I read book 1, The Earl Next Door, in May of 2019, so the reminder was nice for me.  I was able to concentrate on this couple without my mind being diverted.  ,
Lady Julia Kitson Fairbright is a young widow with a 4 year old son to worry about and fuss over.  Her father-in-law is a Duke and insist on keeping her under his thumb upon threat of taking away her child.  She's desperate to keep him appeased until she can get away.  She's spunky and not sure of her own strength, it's never been tested.  She has a meet cute moment with Garrett Stockton, that's important to me in my romance stories.  The attraction is so fast and strong that it reminded me of being struck by lightening.  The odds aren't good but it sometimes happens.  Rogue is an interesting study in testing your limits, knowing your self, and finally deciding what you want in life.  Goi.ng after it is the journey.  My con with Rogue is the use of such strange names, some I wasn't sure how to pronounce so I made it up.  That was distracting and I thought unnecessary, although I understand all men are not named Sebastian.
