Everyone should watch the Pitt on Max, not only is it great representation, but they talk about Freedom House. The original ambulance service and EMS in America run by vast majority Black men. I read American Sirens a few years ago, a book about the freedom house and it is still one of my favorites. It’s a piece of American history that everyone should learn, especially those going into medicine

Can you imagine that Israeli ambulances have just changed their sirens so they sound less like rocket sirens.

They did so because the level of anxiety is so high here in Israel, our hearts start racing when we hear an ambulance go by….
