Amari, the lady of Anbotoko

✴ Who is Mari?

Also known as Anbotoko Mari, Mari Urraca and Murumendiko Dama and Anbotoko Dama; this illusive feminine goddess is the main deity and the central figure of Basque Paganism; mostly being known and seen as a personification of Amalur (mother earth) and in another accounts as the Mother Earth herself.

Besides this, she is also the goddess that is responsible for the fertility of the land and storms (most specifically hail storms) a duty she is said to perform every friday with her consort, the ctonic serpent Sugaar.

However, she does not need Sugaar to perform her task entirely, for she herself can create storms on her own when she travels inbetween her palaces on the chasms of the earth, this journey influencing the weather as she moves from one mountain palace to the other.

Her main sit however, is in a cave in Anbotoko that she has her main throne from which she is served by a court of sorgiñas (sorginak) who are beings that stand between myth and real life (in some accounts they are her priestesses and in others folkloric witches who spread mischief across the land).

She is known to travel the skies in either a crescent fiery chariot, a ball of flame or a goat that she keeps as a companion.

But with how beautiful and royal she is, she is as equally cunning: a natural shapeshifter who is described as a woman in royal clothes and long hair but also with the long claws, goat feet or a red shadow surrounded by serpents holding a sickle; her weapon of choice to punish those who go against her values, making her a fierce goddess of the Home and Justice.

However, being both destruction and creation, justice and retribution one could argue that Mari is in her deepest essences a merging of opposites, embracing the dualities of material reality just as nature around us does.

✴ What is the code of Mari?

Being a protector of the home, whose essence resides in the hearthfire, the basques believed that any oath swore by it was officialized by Mari herself, thus it must be fullfilled to its end. Oathkeeping is incredibly important to this goddess, as she despises those who cannot keep their word.

Surrounded by riches, this beautiful godddess is anything but greed, she despises stealing as she sees this as disrespecting the home and its occupants, thus she would rather be asked for riches than be stolen from.

And last but not least, that which she despises the most is lies (which she is said to feed of) and arrogance, considering these traits too self serving for a goddess whose main purpose is community.

Being known by the basques as the Witch of Anbotoko, she is the most suited to initate the witch into the practice if they wish so.

As the mistress of the Lamina (Lamiak) she can introduce the witch to these water spirits, as well as any of her children if they wish to interact more with the basque folklore, she is also the main gate into the other gods and goddesses of the pantheon, such as Sugaar, her consort.

Always loved the wolf and halla solavellan symbolism. Hower, my flavour of solavellan is different. Amari is a possessed shapeshifter who can learn people's and animals' secrets by eating their raw flesh. They may be a halla but there is no herbivorous innocence in their glowing eyes. A piece of the Fade inside of them burns brightly, reminding Solas of his true purpose. Amari is a living proof that the world is sick, a broken soul that wanted to be whole and magical again. They are everything Solas have done wrong, and yet, they are the reason of his doubts.

柳[Yanagi] : Willow

A deciduous broadleaf shrub, it is a member of the willow genus. It is so named because the catkins on its branches in early spring look like a cat's tail. The male catkins appear reddish before pollen is released. Its pollen is yellow, so they show a change in color over time. Those of female are very light green.

BIG INFO POST ABOUT ME

hello, it is I, a stranger on the internet. I enjoy to write about my characters.

Anyway that’s me. so onto what I like… well I like a lotta stuff. Like hermitcraft, the life series, my ocs, dragons, shapeshifting, writing, Murderbot diaries, top hats, Stardew valley, and other things.

I write a lot of things. Mostly angst. I’ll tag all my writing with #Mr tophat writing. I write more stuff on my other blog @farmer-juice. That’s a roleplay blog for my Stardew valley oc.

Name: FALKOR AKA LIL ONE

Which Falkor: the hero

pronouns: she/her

Personality Description: main character. She is up for any adventure she’s presented with, willing to do the right thing. She’s a perfectionist too. Basic Story: her village was killed, symboling the end of the shapeshifting dragon species. She goes off on an adventure to bring her species back. One of the Dragonic gods makes a mysterious connection with her. She completely ignores it, and forgets her main mission, making herself a found family. After her found family went off on their own paths, she finally had air to think. When she realized her first mission. The only way to bring them back was sacrificing herself. So she does. When she died she meets the god that connected with her, Saya. Saya brought three other versions of her, a creator, a huntress, and a villain. Turns out Saya wanted to eat them all. Saya succeeded in eating the huntress one. But the villain one and Falkor killed them, Falkor landing the last blow. This is important because after the creator one and the villain one left to their own dimension, Falkor couldn’t return to her own reality. Because she was a mortal who killed a god, she became that god. Now she is being absorbed into her own magic illusions.

personality: Kora only acts on her own impulses. She doesn’t care for her own self, nor anyone. She acts like nothing affects her. Not her past. Nor how people see her. The only person she cares about is Amari. She tries her best for him to be a good person, while being a bad person herself. It’s her not thinking she can be redeemed, so she guides Amari down the right path. Basic story: Subject 741K0R was made in a lab called ConVex, owned by a company named ConCorp. (Yes I stole the names from hermitcraft). Several immoral and unethical tests were held on 741K0R to test how much trauma it could withstand. Physically, emotionally, and mentally. The worst two was the starvation test and the path test. These two are the most relevant in Kora’s trauma scars. The path test was a red and purple path. If she went down the red path, she was forced to watch another subject be murdered, then put back into the room. If she went down the purple path, she got put back into the room with the paths again. If she showed any negative emotions she got shocked. The starvation test was basically she was forced into a dog kennel. She was stuck there without any resources to live. This was the lab’s “test” to get rid of her, she had served her purpose. But she survived by eating her arm. And then attacking whoever stood between her and escaping. She accidentally freed another subject 4M4RI, who she adopted later. One day she woke up in a void, with three other versions of her and a god. The god was Saya, the goddess of Death, time and Illusion. Turns out that dude was evil. So Kora killed her with Lil One landing the final blow. And now that she’s in her reality, turns out a past ConVex worker put a bounty on her head. The bounty hunter got her, and took her to the ConVex worker. Now she’s stuck in her old ConVex cell.

Personality: too trusting, too ambitious, too energetic, too enthusiastic, too curious, too naive, too cheerful. Basic Story: Falkor if she was in Hermitcraft basically. She likes to build and garden. After Mr Tophat logged off Minecraft, she gained her own consciousness. She woke up in a void when she gained consciousness. She learned there were three different versions of herself. Then she learned she was a Minecraft character, merely a puppet. And then her story is kinda at a stop there. Since Kora and Lil One never really came back to tell her what happened with Saya.

basic story: Falcon is if Falkor was a life series player. She wins a game I made up called Long Life. Basically it’s an au where the life series are all living in a village together, they’re all friends and neighbors. All allies basically. After someone gets on yellow or red, they start killing. Then once it was just three people, Falcon, Tasuma, and Galasi. They were all close friends who lived together. Keep in mind, they have been stuck here for years. So one day after gathering berries, Falcon comes home with Galasi crying over Tasuma’s dead body. A knife was in Tasuma’s back. Galasi begged Falcon to kill her, since she had no honor left. So Falcon did. And then she won the game. The watchers cursed her because she attacked them when they tried to take her to the winner hall.

Personality: determined. She’s the friend you can always depend on to cheer you up. She’s good with being very intimidating and strong too. She is friendly though.

Job: security guard at a kid’s museum (kora’s universe)

Basic story: she’s a just a girl in the world. In Lil one’s universe, she died in a blaze of anger. she died trying to defend everyone after coming back from Falkor, Galasi, and her secret garden called the hourglass gardens. It had black berries. But anyway in Kora’s universe she is subject T45UM4. She escaped due to an explosion a few years after Kora escaped. Then in Falcon’s universe she got killed by Galasi. In Tha Cat’s universe she never existed.

Name: Galasi aka Galvin Sinclair aka G4145I

NOTE: she is different in different Falkor universes. So Galasi is Lil one’s. Galasi is also Falcon’s. And then Galvin Sinclair / G4145I are in Kora’s universe. Tha cat doesn’t have a Galasi

basic story: in Lil One’s reality, she got sick after touching the big hourglass in the Hourglass gardens. When she was stuck at home, hunters attacked. And she died in a fire. Then in Kora’s universe, she is subject G4145I. She escaped due to an explosion and now lives as a museum guide in the space section. Her and Tasha flirt occasionally when kids aren’t around. In Falcon’s dimension, she killed Tasuma, and then Falcon killed her. She does not exist in Tha Cat’s universe.

personality: he is a motherly type. He will adopt anyone as her child. They also have an appetite that is forever lasting. They catch mortals as prey occasionally, thus why he was trapped in a void. She has a silver tongue. They’re basically like Aaravos from Dragon Prince if he was a different person.

Basic Story: he and Yeelen were the first two gods ever in existence. Then Joli became a god. Then after a few thousand years, Sukaro and Kanu joined. Then a short few decades Masksisi and Mago joined. There was an incident where some mortals made an offer to the gods. Saya was hungry. And he ate the mortals. So he was trapped into a void connected to where the gods live. So he lured mortals to his void to eat. She made a friend in Falkor. She found Falkor as a curious and new thing. She enjoyed watching Falkor. She was the one who convinced Falkor to join her in the void, allowing her to get three other versions. Then they got killed…

Basic Story: he had been a god just as long as Saya. But he started getting feelings for Saya. He kept these feelings secret, until Kanu got close enough with Yeelen. Yeelen drunkingly admitted to having a crush on Saya. So one god fancy ball, Kanu slipped some love magic into Saya’s drink. Yeelen did not want Kanu to do this. But he wasn’t going to complain. He and Saya married. And long after the love potion wore off, they both love each other.

personality: he’s like a gruff veteran. He is full of past anger and rage, but his wisdom is very useful. He misses his wife. basic story: he came a little after Saya and Yeelen. He was the leader in charge of the dragon army. Don’t ask why the gods have an army of mortal dragons or why an army of dragons had a god as their commander. But after a war of mortal humans killed his wife, he left the dragon army. How did Mago die you ask? Well in a blind fit of rage while fighting, Joli’s arrows flying everywhere, one hit Mago in the chest. A god killing a god is different from a mortal killing a god. When a god kills a god, the killed god no longer exists. Nor does what they were a god of. So what they were a god of just goes out of control. But if a mortal kills a god, that mortal takes over that godship.

personality: he is mischievous. He likes to annoy Joli and Yeelen on purpose. He would be my type if I was gay. Anyway, he likes to flirt with his wife and make her happy. basic story: he helps mortals with finding love and inspiration. He likes to play pranks and mess with people. There’s always one trickster god. They like to have graphic eyeliner and wear dresses, they love to help his wife with her fashion too.

goddess of: joy, fun, and mischief

personality: she is the pinkie pie of the gods. She is bubbly and fun, all about having fun. She is very kind. Unless you touch anything in her house, then she will hold a grudge against you. She doesn’t like to share anything other than joy.

Basic story: she’s Kanu’s sister. She has a house full of odd items, it’s like the inside of MeowWolf except everything is full of random junk. She is a jester and a tailor. She likes food, just not as much as Saya.

goddess of: masks, misery, forgery

sin: sloth

personality: wet cat. She’s anxious. She doesn’t want to mess a single interaction up. She isn’t anxious alone with Kanu. But with anyone else she’s a nervous mess.

Basic Story: she is a mortal turned god. Kanu fell in love with a mortal, and made her a goddess. He also noticed Joli fell in love with a mortal and made her a goddess too. Kanu charmed Masiksi with his music. And they’ve been in love ever since. Masiksi wears jeans and turtleneck sweaters, while Kanu wears skirts shorts and looser sweaters. They share a closet. And makeup.

basic story: he is a lab scientist in ConVex. His favorite subject to torture test on is 741K0R. He is an expert in surgical procedures and the psychological behaviors of all his subjects. When his favorite subject escaped, he hired someone to bring them back, dead or alive.

personality: nervous wet cat. He is rarely loud, he’s a very soft spoken person.

basic story: he lived with his dad until he came out as gay. His dad and him got in a fight that ended up kicking Poi out of the house. He only had Kora Falls to go to. Since kora was his friend. He is a poor collage student just trying to get by. He didn’t ask to be bit by a spider, vampire, and other creatures. He just was unlucky. He still tries his best to live a normal life. He witnessed Kora get killed by Oliver. He likes to embroider.

personality: I do not care. I do not like anyone. I hate everything. basic story: his family got killed in an explosion. Falkor (villain) was demolishing a building for funsies (she’s insane idk). So Oliver hates her. He lives with his two light brown tabby cats, Sally and Susan. He occasionally works with someone called Big Blue Toni. Kora also works with Toni. Neither of them know they both work for the same person on occasion. One day an arrogant scientist hired him to kill 741K0R and bring their body to his lab. So he studies 741K0R and stalks her. He learns two things, Falkor, Kora, and 741K0R are the same person. And they have a weakness… Amari. So he kills Amari to weaken Kora. It works. And then he kills Kora too.

personality: he knows how to get what he wants. He will be chill and kind, to intimidating and cruel in an instant. He is a sucker for lemon flavored

basic story: Toni is the man with connections. He sells whatever you need. And if you have what he needs he will give it to you. Toni’s connection with Kora, is that Kora supplies his gangs with weapons and Toni gives Kora protection from the cops. They both do favors out side of that too. Toni’s connection with Kora is definitely more friendly than Oliver and Toni’s connection. Oliver only chats with Toni when he needs money, or when Toni needs something from him. Purely business.

personality: he’s a chill dude, he’s childish and loud. But when he’s guarding Toni he’s cold and intimidating.

basic story: him and Lin grew up doing ballet together. They split paths for a few years after a fight. Frank picked himself up out of a depression by taking therapy and going to a gym. He got a call from Lin, they both apologized over the phone. They didn’t see each other until Toni hired them both as his bodyguards. Then with the money they got paid from being bodyguards, both Frank and Lin started Franklin’s Jewelry

what is a vex scar? Well it’s a concept I made up, vex scars are how have their power. These scars affect the vex differently, for greg it makes him mute.

Basic Story: greg is the first subject Simon made from scratch. He isn’t tested on since he is more like Simon’s muscle. greg was made to lift very very heavy stuff, and bend metal with his hands.

basic story: honestly if you’re still here reading, thanks. I’m tired writing all these and I haven’t even hit Juice’s family. Randy has the ability to control fire, but not create it. His twin Rodrick can make fire, but can’t control it. Randy only became a government hero for Rodrick.

Hi hewwo hi you've activated the OC infodumping session!

Theres quite a few of them so I'll just throw the big deal ones at you as an introduction!

I will give a quick content warning for body horror and blood for some of the images. those are at the end when im showing off my favourite oc

First up are the main group from my original OC world, the very originals for my cast of many morons who run around in my head rent free 24/7 365

Aurora, Avry, Jessi, Lusikka, Amaris, and Wrath

Aurora was the first oc out of all of them! She started out as my fursona back when i was starting to be online regularly, now though im well past that since Arty borty here has well since become her own character rather than just me but furry

Aurora is a Fennec Lyotternx, otherwise known as a furred folk Chimera in the oc's world. It simply means both her parents were a mix of some form so she's roughly 1/3 fennec fox, 1/3 lynx and 1/3 otter. She come form a long line of furred folk who protect a large forested area outside of a small town called Cedar Creek. She's also a magic user! She uses Phytomancy - plant magic. Though she's not great at it.

Avry Rayne is in fact my daughter i love her so so so much she's great! one of The Big Three ocs who are constantly on my mind at any given moment (you'll see the other two soon). if I were to actually take the time to write anything out for this group of ocs she's probably the closest to a main character. In a setting full of furries, mythical creatures, modern day magic etc etc She got the short end of the stick. literally nothing magic or supernatural wise. She's just you're regular ol average person trying to survive fighting a literal demon of shadow taking over the world for her own amusement. She's got mommy issues and is head over heels for her best friend, Jessi.

Jessi is the resident shapeshifter which Ive done some worldbuilding on and posted about awhile back here and probably the most level headed of the three. She certainly has her head on straight more or less. She's strongly tied to dragons which are a critically endangered species in this world. Jess is part shapeshifter and part werecreature- specifically a weredragon. Due to the fact she can't control it, her shapechange on the fullmoon resembles more the wolfman style of werewolves than just a straight change to the animal itself. The fact she can't control it is one of her biggest fears and around the time of a full moon she'll run off deep into the forest to get as far away from humanity as possible, hoping to lessen the chance of the weredragon hunting anyone she cares about.

Amaris is the shadow demon who is causing problems on purpose for fun. She revels in chaos and wants to see the world turn to absolute madness. in this world she is the source of all your sleep paralysis demon stories. She's actually an entity from another dimension who was cast out for an attempted hostile takeover of her home realm. She has complete control over shadows, to the extent that she has her own sort of backrooms esque shadow passages she uses to get around quickly. So long as she can fit through a shadow she can essentially teleport through it. Its not that hard for her to fit through things though. the small stature of 4'9" helps a bit.

Wrath meanwhile is whats known as an Incarnate. Incarnates are the physical manifestation of concepts and ideas. So like how we imagine Death as a skeleton in black robes with a scythe would be considered an incarnate in this world. There's only one of Each emotion and as we can guess, Wrath is anger incarnate. She's found herself working with Amaris to help spread chaos and destruction around the world after the shadow demon broke her free of her confinement by the Emotion Manifestation Obtainment organization (E.M.O for short) Wrath is a living weapon essentially and can't die so long as something out there can experience anger. Her limbs can shapeshift into any melee weapon and she gets stronger the more things around her experience her emotion. This can backfire though and she can get overloaded with anger and quite literally explode, having to reform her physical body at a later point.

Lusikka is a petty thief who has a lot of issues. She's an orphan who took to shoplifting for attention and well turned out she got really good at it. She's the leader of a group known as the silverware trio and uses a giant spoon to fight with, as silly as that sounds. She and the other two (Forcella and Kiridashi) started as a team of supervillians in their own world where they had a rogues gallery of food themed heroes who kept trying to foil their plans. This is where Lusi's dislike for tacos comes from. Now its just because she can't handle spice at all. She gets better and ends up with a wife and kids and she loves them so very much.

She still can't stand Avry being obnoxious though. something something shortest temper imaginable.

moving on from that setting,

BLAIR! Blair Daniels-Anderson my beloved! Another one of The Big Three who are ever present. She's my far cry 5 player character and she has like the most stereotypically country song background story imaginable. its fitting for her and her terminal yeehaw brainworms.

Anyways, Blair's first wife divorces her, takes the house and the car and here she is planning to move back home to Calgary to pick up the pieces and then she gets stuck dealing with a religious cult and stuck in hope county Montana where she continues to have a bad time alongside @rainydaze-rhys 's OC Rook. (Rhys if you're reading this hi hewwo hi bestie!)

Meet Colby! I love her, she has many much issues and is named after 3 different cheeses!

yes THIS is the one that has my brain in a chokehold. she is the one who's CONSTANTLY being rotated in the brain like a rotisserie chicken.

Colby grew up on Saturn's moon Titan dreaming of being able to see the universe. She joins the MIRA crewmate system and works on the Skeld ship as the ship's cook. They end up infected with a symbiotic alien parasite that shows up as all kinds of body horror on them. They're inspired by The Thing from the movie... well... The THING.

so like Colby gets their want to explore the universe but it comes at the cost of being permanently infested with an alien parasite that can and will do anything to make sure it and its host survive, which includes eating people. of course the crew has a medical scanner for respawning purposes so they're fine. but there sure do be a LOT of murdering from everyone on this ship.

She also ends up dating the ships medical AI who is an evil scientist and i love her very much also. incredibly normal about both Colby and their GF, Micah, who belongs to Rainydaze-Rhys.

Vengeance of the All-Devourer: Blueberry Academy Attack

Oppy, along with Jedi Masters Kit Fisto and Plo Koon, hurried and flew to Blueberry Academy. By the time they got there, however, many spikes had already dropped, including one onto the academy entrance, trapping everyone in the Academy. The group landed, and immediately started trying to push back the Shadowglass that had swarmed the school. ran to the elevator, encountering a student on the way - Elite Four Crispin

You! Young one! This place is no longer safe. We need to get everyone here away. Where are the people here hiding?

Uh! I dunno! But we could use the intercom to call them! But��� 

What’s wrong?

…most of the League’s stuck in the club room thanks to the monsters. I only barely escaped

Master Fisto! Can you hold the platform long enough for an evacuation?

I think so!

Then we leave the platform in your hands. We’ll rescue the trapped people

Kit took the fight to the Shadowglass, using the Force to manipulate the water surrounding the Academy to his advantage against the Shadowglass. Meanwhile Plo, Oppy, and Crispin took the elevator to the League Club Room, and promptly went on the offensive against the Shadowglass barring the door. 

Oppy was the first to rush in, miming blowing into her thumbs and growing her hands to massive sizes, and slapping two of the Claws away. Plo engaged the others with his lightsaber and Electric Judgement as Oppy then shapeshifted into a thin disk and slid herself under the League Room door. 

Don’t worry guys! We’re gonna get you-

She’s cut off by a tremendous cracking sound. She hurries and opens the door as Plo destroys the last of the Shadowglass. The two hurry outside with the League, only to see the whole Academy lifted into the sky. Up, up, and up Blueberry Academy goes. Into the sky, into orbit, into space, up to a massive hole that opened in the Worm's mass. The House is taken into it as it closes, eventually coming to rest in a dark, cavernous space that fluctuates ominously, slowly moving toward a dark mote at the far (and I mean FAR) end - which all present hope against hope isn't some kind of crusher, black hole, or other harmful apparatus of digestion. 

This is… not good

What do we do?

Suddenly erupted a bright green light, a stark contrast from the dark purple of everywhere else in here. By now students have begun to trickle out of the Academy, and the general mindset of the students is to head for it, despite Cyrano trying to get them to stay in the Academy. 

Lacey didn’t feel comfortable disobeying Cyrano, and Drayton wanted to look after Amarys, who had been hurt, so only Crispin went with Oppy, Kit, and Plo. They managed to get the tunnel open, though it only led out into Quantuvour’s stomach. Shortly after walking out, the group was set upon by an enormous Shadowglass with a sword. 

Despite Crispin sending his Magmortar legion, it very quickly became apparent that a Velonaut was far beyond what they could handle. Plo pointed out a route that led away from it, into some kind of downed spacecraft. All’s well after that, moving through it, but then Oppy sees a logo on the ship and freezes

We need to get out of here…

Oppy bolts, and the Jedi and Crispin try to keep up. It’s not easy, as Oppy’s panic causes her to shift into vents and up pillars that the Jedi have to find another way to. THey do briefly lose her, but tfind her again surrounded by flying robots

Fisto used the Force to throw the robots into each other as Koon approached

Opportunity, fear not, we will protect you.

Oppy calms, eventually. Crispin offers her a snack he whipped up on very short notice. THe glow is still visible through a starship window, so they keep trying to make their way to it. 

Their journey carries them into a cargo hold. Pods line the room, and those pods hold smaller pods. Most are empty, but some are filled with pink goop, which also splatters the room in several places. Most of the goop is inert, but some pinker clumps still quiver. Upon seeing the goop, Oppy collapses, overcome with fear and sadness

It’s not fair… That isn’t fair…

Master Jedi, can you please help me gather up all the pink stuff in here?

Crispin and Oppy immediately set to work, followed by Plo, then Kit. As they gather, Crispin ends up encountering other V-Corp robots, in similar states of disrepair 

THe robots instantly go ham on Crispin, all swords and legs. THat would’ve been the end for Crispin had Kit not been paying attention, and he was there in time to save him, parrying the robots away, then destroying them with an expert display of Form 1 Lightsaber attacks. More robots are rushing in though, including some more with the guns. Oppy eventually finishes gathering up the pink material, and unionizes with all of it. THe material absorbed into her, she leads the other 3 away from the oncoming robots and out of the ship, close to where the light was shining

Nina looks at the objects Shifter pulls out of her mane. The script was something that wasn't in her database and it wasn't popping up in any internet searches, so it was definitely an alien language.

Nina was wondering why Shifter didn't just shapeshift into a form with hands to draw, but then she figured that it's probably more comfortable for Shifter to use her own natural form that she's familiar with. Regardless of that, Nina quietly waits for Shifter to finish her drawings.

After throwing away the pancakes and putting the plate in the dishwasher, Amari slithers herself back upstairs and heads towards her room. As much as she enjoys wearing her bathrobe, she's ready to put on some regular clothes now.

"I want my bed though..." Shifter whines slightly. She continues to search through her mane until she finally pulls out something. It looks like a glass panel with thin metal around the rim, another thing was soon kicked out, a box of the same metal.

She sets the panel down. "Finally! And the stand this time, I don't have to draw hunched over." She sounds so happy!

She grabs the box, pressed her paw down, then moves the panel over it. The panel hovers! She turns the panel on and the text on screen is very much foreing script. After a few claw taps the script clears. Now to draw!

She gets the stylist from the side of the panel and gets drawing, holding the item in her mouth. Its kinda holographic in a way, since everything on the screen lights up!

Out of Place was a planned mini comic series

Starring a shapeshifting mother named Tyreen and her four children. Clyde, Denver, Eldritch, and Amaris.

The only media i have of this comic was it's first draft that never got lineart. The first comic was supposed to serve as an introduction thing. Titled "Demons and Slushies"

The beginning has Tyreen narrating it and saying how they recently moved to town. While throughout this comic, the four troublemaker children get into some kind of weird ass adventure. Which ended with them at a 7/11, drinking slushies and then walking back home.

Thats all that exists of this planned and now cancelled story. RIP.

They (my character) had sent photos of 2 other steel types. Bc of reasons, they can manifest certain Pokémon traits. Like. Literally shapeshifting them on. It was meant as a "hey look at this! Look what I can do!"

//ooc yeah dude, the 2 other pictures were normal. The third was just detached Scizor claws with a line saying a pokemon got hurt in the process. You explained none of this backstory or ability in the ask. Like I'm sorry but there really was only one way for Amarys to react there.

But that's okay! Miscommunication is a great source for conflict, and conflict is what drives interesting narratives. I genuinely enjoy writing characters overcoming this sort of thing.

No body asked this I’m just going to write it like Celena is answering someone’s question just because I feel like it.

I am a full fledged troll but I am also part goddess. You see the gods don’t really have just one form, they use their shape shifting to change into whatever form they feel like using at the time. It can change often or they’ll stick to the same one for a century or more on end for the most part. When my parents created me and later my younger sister Amaris. Both mother and father were in troll forms so biologically speaking I am a troll but since my mother is a goddess and my father a mortal I am also a demigoddess. There is no either or, I am both. The same applies to my children. I am a troll, their father is a troll so they are trolls that also have god in them. But my demigoddess nature does still affect some things about my psychical appearance such as my markings, mine glow while the markings of fully mortal shadow trolls do not. Abilities wise I can also do multiple things most trolls cannot do such as shapeshifting and unlike the changelings I’m not limited to just a human form. I once turned into a vase just to mess with/annoy Bellum for two hours. He walked by me at least 15 times while looking everywhere for me. He’s still rather salty about it.

Amari and Kora’s relationship

Kora and Amari come from ConVex laboratories. Amari was bred into captivity, and Kora was made artificially. Amari is an adapted and altered type of raccoon that talks and has sea foam green fur, while Kora is an bioengineered shapeshifting reptilian (that is summarized as a dragon).

so how’d they meet? Well while Kora was escaping she freed another subject by accident. This subject was Amari. Amari was a baby raccoon, like little baby. He needed a parent. So he latched to Kora. She had no choice at first, but as he grew she did genuinely grow a sense of actually caring about someone. Kora doesn’t normally care about anyone, including herself.

what is their relationship. Kora is a young mom to Amari. And Amari is Kora’s son, no matter what. Well unless Amari transitioned, then Amari is Kora’s daughter. Kora is very protective and supportive of Amari despite her regular narcissistic and aggressive nature. Amari is laid back and he has a lot of Max Goof or skater boy vibes (he was made during my Maxley hyper fixation)

In an alternate universe where perhaps she contracted a were-status or was given a potion of shapeshifting, Amaris would use it constantly.

Her beast/monster form would be an amalgamation of creatures. A long ans powerful, panther-esque body with medium length fur the same warm purple as her hair, and paws/snout/tail tip the same lighter pink as her highlights. An elongated draconic snout, with teeth that protrude both upwards and downwards even when her maw is closed. Retractable talons. A regal set of antlers set atop her head between feline ears. A ruff of longer fur that runs down her back and fills out her tail into a fluffy fan shape.

As a Miqo, perhaps her "half" transformed state would have miniature antlers poking out beside her ears, a spade-shaped point at the end of her feline tail, and longer fangs that don't always fit properly inside her mouth (especially when she's excited).
