I would like your advice on a couple of things, if that's okay. This is a lot, so I apologize.
I am young and nearing my 20's, and I am only recently trying to learn how to invest in myself, my self-care/wellbeing, and my future.
I've grown up in poverty, in a male-dominant household, and my mother (the only other woman in the house) was emotionally and physically absent for most of my childhood so I was never taught proper hygiene, self-care and in general really crucial things that a woman should know. I think also because of these factors (as well as sexual assault history and being afraid of predators), I've never learned how to be in tune with my body and its needs and how to be feminine, and how to embrace it.
I've been trying to find female role models on Youtube, but the sheer amount of channels and content has me overwhelmed. In other aspects of my life aside from physical care, I have no clue what I'm doing and what I should do.
I'm making almost $900 a month thanks to my dad's SS benefits because he's retired, and I want to get the things that I need/want (physical self-care, exercise equipment, room decorations/furniture, clothing, etc.) as well as investing in the future (car, apartment, etc.). Do you have some ideas as to what I should get or recommended channels on women's health and self-care?
Lastly, what does femininity mean to you? What does it mean to be feminine or a woman? I understand that it's a very subjective question, but I would really appreciate your outlook on it. :)

Get plenty of sleep (7-9 hours every/most nights)
5-7x week/movement (walking/a simple exercise routine or sport you love)
Hygiene (skincare, shower, haircare, nailcare, laundry, house cleaning)

you’re so cute, this is such a cute question 🥹 I don’t have one set candle scent I love, but I am a big fan of calming smells like lavendar, pear, vanilla, apple & cinnamon. I love any candles by north muse or honeymoon apothecary I truly have never had them go wrong with a candle smell.
for my skin care, I tend to get dry skin, so in the morning I just wash my face once with a moisturising cleanser. I use a caffeinated eye cream but truly I have no set one, I’ve never found any one better than the other so it’s whatever I can get my hands on when I need more. I then use balance me radiance facial oil, just a couple of drops patted into my skin. and a dash of niacinamide. I give it a minute or two for those to soak in, making my bed and doing a lip scrub or something while I wait, then I moisturise and lastly suncream. I use a little bit of scented body butter on my neck, and everyone always tells me I smell so good.
at night, I use a cream cleanser if I’ve worn makeup that day, then I double cleanse. sometimes I just use the same as my morning cleanser twice, sometimes I use it once, then inkey list salicylic acid cleanser. I use my eye cream again, then if I’ve used the salicylic cleanser, I also use some salicylic drops patted into the skin. I’ve also started using a retinoid twice a week recently! I do tuesday and saturday nights. then I moisturise to finish off. I also put body butter on my neck and chest again.
every sunday before/after my shower, I do a facemask. it could be any of these:
pineapple enzyme mask
hemp mask
tumeric mask
as for hair care, pretty simple! I pretty much just use any nourishing hair masks I’ve got in at the time, as long as it’s good and slicked up. I usually plait my hair once it’s all in and then leave it for a few hours, while I do a workout or make dinner or something. I use leave-in conditioner, heat-protect spray and I use a knock-off wella bond repair oil on my hair after I dry it.
ps: I like to do my night skincare before I dry my hair, then do a nice sheet mask to lock moisture back in after my face has gotten blasted with all the hot air from drying. I find it’s really nice.
other products I also love:
laneige lip mask — I swear this is so nourishing.
glossier hot cocoa lip balm — I bought this because I saw it trending and I literally wore it every day in winter I can’t wait to buy the 'strawberry' one they just released for summer.
palmer's cocoa butter — I use this stuff on any dry/sensitive skin. you can literally put it on your feet, elbows, scabs, flaky skin?? I even put it under my nose when I get a cold so my nose doesn’t get sore from blowing it so much 🤧
'sweet tooth' perfume — I am a sabrina carpenter girly through n' through.
nyx lip oils — they're perfect. no more needs to be said.
vanilla body spray — I’m a vanilla girly, can you tell? it’s just such a good base smell for so many perfumes and scents, and it’s so nice? I get a lot of compliments about my scent.
hawaiian tropic body spray — I like to wear this in the summer, it still works with the vanilla underlayer, and everyone goes crazy for it.
snow fairy spray — this is what I smell like the whole month of december.

I'M SICK AND TIRED OF BEING PATHETIC
I'm honestly sick and tired of self-loathing my own demise, like I plan on being consistent, and then I procrastinate, then I get all sad and disappointed? Like bitch you did that to yourself? Why are you being so pathetic? Why are you letting your past determine your worth, and power? Fear, it's always fear. Fear of the possibility of failing or not making it because of my past experiences and continued indifference of my issues, it's so conflicting because I'm so aware of what I'm doing and I know I'm not suppose to do it but I do it anyway, I have no self control, no self discipline, then I get mad, like ho you know damn well....I understand my adhd is a huge contributing factor, and it makes everything so much harder, especially with procrastination paralysis, but I don't really put in effort, I try, but not hard enough, I could think of ways to avoid My executive dysfunction but no, my pathetic ass just sits there and feel sorry for myself
Honestly I want to change, I really do, but I have to actually keep promises to myself and stay strong, I've been thinking of 2 methods, if I'm tempted to do something I'm not suppose to I'll count to 10, rationalize what I'm doing, and realize what I'm doing doesn't make any since to if I actually want to improve myself. Secondly, harsh motivation, now I'm not trying to repackage self hatred here, but I've been way too soft on myself, I've let myself go way too easily and it's exhausting, I'm going to push myself, and give myself a harsh reminder that being a pathetic piece of trash won't get me anywhere in life

I'm going to manifest my desires into reality, I've known about the law for about 3 years now and I haven't manifested anything I wanted, things I didn't want? Yes, because I know the law always works because we consistently decide everything, but now I know what to do, all I have to do is do it.
Things to remind myself:

-I am my ideal self
-manifesting isn't logical unless you make it to be (all about assumption)
-Affirm, regardless of 3d, doubts, and preconceived notions

What I've noticed is that I've been my best when I'd exercise, I never really knew how well moving my body really helps with my well being, so I'll definitely do it more often next year!

I usually never style my protective style, and just throw in a bun and waltz to school without doing my edges, and sure it's not a bad thing, I just want to look a little more preppy, and do something other than a basic bun
Same applies with my afro, I want to sculpt my hair in cute little styles and do my edges, I just want to maintain my hair, you know what I mean? Just look forward to school every day just to do my hair! It'll give me motivation.
Step 3: Skincare

Hi guys, it's been a while since I last updated you about my productivity project.
In this time I continued to look for work leaving my CV in many shops hoping for a call.
In the meantime, last Tuesday I started theory lessons at driving school and so far I can say that I'm doing well; I go to class, I take note of additional information provided by the instructor compared to what is present in the theory book, at home I write it all down in a special notebook and after having reviewed the topic covered I do the quizzes so as to practice.
I still have to reorganize my routine according to these changes, since in the last week I have not been able to reconcile lesson times with my workouts, etc.
As for self-care, I'm trying to improve my skincare because my skin is particularly suffering from allergies and the onset of heat, the same goes for my hair, so if anyone has any advice regarding good skin and haircare products they are welcome.
I hope I can also find the time to start reading again, my urban demons podcast and watching Sailor Moon, I just have to find a way to reconcile everything and I'm sure I can do it.
During this period of absence I also had the opportunity to experiment with new recipes and I can say that I am satisfied with almost all of them.
I must not give up now.

Becoming the Woman of my Dreams! 💍
The pandemic has played a massive role in my lack of motivation and discipline. To hold myself accountable and to become the best version of myself, I am following a daily routine to get my out of the slump that I am currently in.
Morning Routine ☁️
Morning Routine
Wake up at 8am and journal my dreams and any morning thoughts
Spend at least 10 minutes with myself in silence (with soft non-distracting ambience)
Drink a glass of water to rehydrate
Make my bed and get into my workout clothes
10 to 20 minutes of yoga and pilates, and (for the same amount of time) abs and booty workout (it’s best that I do it early and get it out of the way or else I get lazy and don’t do anything at all)
Have a shower and then do my post shower such as my skincare and haircare
Breakfast (egg whites on toast and tea)
Review assignments, clean up emails and reply to messages (allocate 20 minutes to social media; avoid instagram and stick to tumblr; after more motivational and inspiring)
Tidy up my room and my space and do any laundry
Evening Routine 🌛
Do some creative writing (short stories, poetry and/or prompts to keep my brain/mind moving and a creativity influx)
Start on, continue with or finish up on any assignments
Make lunch (something light or else I’ll feel heavy and wanna lie down (stay away from carbs))
Watch an episode or two of Bob’s Burgers
Read a chapter of my current book
Do tarot (if I feel drawn to pull some cards)
Dinner (again something light, we don’t want to slump when we’ve been doing so good, something vegetarian)
Skincare routine (wash off any sweat and apply products to repair, hydrate and protect)
Listen to a podcast (Ted Talks, language learning (Croatian and Russian) or an audiobook)
Go for a late night drive with mum and my dog
10 to 20 minutes or yoga to unwind and relax my body
Read a chapter or two of my book
Be in bed by 10pm

Isagenix Review – Is It the All Round Brand for a Better, Healthier Life?
Now, you may think that my opening statement is quite strong and it is. I have titled this article like that for a reason. I do want to question if Isagenix is the all-round product range for a healthy lifestyle!
This isn’t something I have done or thought of doing before. I live a relatively healthy lifestyle and enjoy what I do. I exercise and eat well, but I also enjoy my food and don’t limit myself. I take supplements, but only ones that I know are good for me and won’t do me any harm. I have tested so many products over recent years that I feel like I know what is right for me and what works.
If there is one thing I haven’t done, it’s sticking to one brand. It’s just not something I believe in – and that’s the same across the board. I don’t use one brand for my skincare, one brand for my haircare or one brand for my make up – I don’t just buy one brand with my food shopping. I use a whole range for each, and that’s for a reason.
I don’t believe that one brand can be good at everything.
When it comes to my supplements, I have different brands and products for different goals and purposes. I have never been able to use one brand across protein, workout, vitamins, and teas. It doesn’t happen. I haven’t used any that breach outside of these ranges either. They all are different brands, and I have come to like that.
But I am about to challenge myself here, with something I do believe could work.
I have to ask myself because I think it could be if Isagenix is the brand that is about to change all of that. Can Isagenix be the answer to a whole bunch of health issues, from weight management to aging?
Well, let’s think about that for a minute.
What is Isagenix
Isagenix is a health brand. I say this because their product ranges cover a whole range of goals and concerns. From weight loss and management to energy, performance, and aging – they cover it all.
Usually, I would see this as a bad thing. I would think they aren’t all that specialized in one thing and are trying to do too much. BUT, I haven’t this time. Because I started to see the Isagenix pop up everywhere.
As always, I was reading up on the latest news and product releases as well as reviews and doing a bit of research. I saw the Isagenix brand, and a few of their products under weight loss popped up a few times and made a note to go back and take a look. Then, the next day, I saw the same name concerning aging. It was quite strange as this doesn’t usually happen.
So, I decided to look into it a lot more. I’m happy I did – I surprised myself, it was a great find. The Isagenix does have a lot to do with these different fields and from what I can gather, they do it well. Perhaps I should go into that a little more…
What Do They Promise
For this article, I will be talking about weight loss, energy, and aging. There are a lot of reviews on their performance products online if you want them, but I felt like these three topics were most relevant to both me and Diet Union in general – considering we’re talking about health here!
Yes, the brand does work on a multilevel style marketing platform, so users and customers can then go on to sell the products and so on, but the products themselves are worth it (I am contemplating to becoming a distributor myself).
When it comes to weight loss, they have a lot to offer – there are the packs that each work to different goals and then the individual items. I like this – it lets you trial a bunch of things that work together with one end goal, then go on and re-buy when you need to. It also stops you from trying things that you may not like or may not be right for you.
With energy and aging, it’s the same. You get the packs and the individual items. You can tell that you know what works and what customers want, and they go with that.
How Did It Go
So, for my review, I had a HUGE look on site before making my purchases. It did take me ages. I wasn’t sure how I was ever going to decide in the end, but I did, and it was great. Because I wanted to try a few things in a short space of time, I went with the 9-Day Deep Cleansing and Fat Burning System for weight loss, Shake and Shot Pak for energy and finally, the Total Health and Longevity System for aging (I was curious about aging here)!
I have used each of my packs now, and it’s been around 30 days (as some of them lasted 30 days). I got a massive range of shakes, supplements, and snacks to use and I tried not to use them all at the same time, but sometimes this could not be helped.
After just one month, I am impressed. I love the taste of all of my products and ease. It doesn’t feel like a chore, or like I am trying too many things – it’s easy. I feel healthier, energized and like I am on track with my health and fitness routine – some of these products do rival my favorites. Each morning I dry body brush. I find it’s the best way to get the circulation going and remove any dead skin cells. I start at the feet and move up the leg with quick strokes, then gently onto my arms (I like to brush towards the heart).
