Me (transmasc, 25) live with my parents. This is something they suggested me after I had a breakup with someone abusive, before someone jumps at my neck for living with them, immediately voting that I am the asshole. No they don't respect either my name or my pronouns, that's how bad the relationship was. I also pay a fixed amount per month that's about half of my salary+do more complex house chores. This was a while ago when mom had just given birth.

My dad is pretty big at fishing, and gets his fishing clothes pretty dirty. Fishy smell, dirt, grass, dirty water, you know the drill. Fishes a shitton of fishes and sell it for some extra money. I think it's important to mention his salary isn't bad, it's actually about 7 times the minimum wage here, he just spends in a lot of stuff he doesn't needs like getting a lot of toys for the younger sibling, a lot of fishing material he doesn't uses, paying for bills he made back when he exchanged our house for a farm and then got absolutely ridden in debt from farm expenses because he thought everything would be perfect like in those farm movies. And then had to exchange the farm again in a worse house and still pay back some money, getting pets he can't pay for the expenses like about 15-20 native birds (that are illegal btw) and canaries that cost some real money because they eat specialized food and fresh fruit+medicine. I think it's also important to mention that when I was younger my mom and him fought at least one time per month about his fishing habits that were like, leave on Friday and coke back either sunday night or monday morning. Now they're much more tamer usually capping off at one day, but still are frequent, like at least one time per week.

Now to the real deal: mom always washes his clothes, but in this specific time I was doing laundry because she just was cut open with a C-section to have the twins because of an emergency with the babies .Twins weren't home yet but it was not like she could do anything, so I was doing laundry, organizing my siblings chores (15F, 13M, 4F), taking care of the younger one, unfortunately overwhelmed from being the mom. And dad just leaves to fishing every weekend like it's no biggie and leaves their children to just fend for themselves I guess if I wasn't here. So I am making food, making chores and all of that, real mama chores including dealing with the very moody 4yo that isn't happy dad isn't home and mom can't get out of the bed and cried from about anything that mildly inconveniences her.

Then he comes home from fishing and tuck his dirty clothes god knows where, and one week later finds it again and starts bitching about how no one washed his fishing outfit and I, very tired, very overwhelmed and very stressed, say to him "why, don't you know how to use the damn washing machine?" And he gets like, really offended and says he won't even answer me do he won't offend me, and in my tired state I just answer that all he needs to do is to throw it there with soap and turn it on, he could do that and he gets more mad and storms off to fish (again yes, leaving my mom with basically a recovering surgery with the kids.)

Another detail is that a year before he did the same thing but mom had left for some christian stuff for two weeks, and when I asked him if he could load the washing machine so I could finish fixing lunch, he told me he didn't know how to use it and I taught him. He's 45. It's one of those washing machines with literally everything written on them on how to use.

I also should clarify that he's not mentally disabled or physically disabled, if the fishing trips weren't enough clue for his overall wellness. Mom acted as I should bend to his will and just washes the clothes because it's not worth fighting. My 15yo sister is with me because he makes her clean the sink he uses to clean the fishes every time he fishes. Mom is mad at both of us because we're tearing this family apart and we should just accept dad as he is and do what he says.

Tldr: AITA for asking my dad if he doesn't knows how to do the laundry even after I taught him to do so?

The dazzling, dangerous duo of a heiress and a hitman-for-hire! Fleur was the one that gave Jackie her name, Jacqueline, from a romance novel she had been reading at the time.

Though they look like they share a standard master and servant relationship, the two are more like equals with a directional hierarchy. Partners-in-crime, if you will...

As a research student who's always struggling to get the Tops at her school to assist her in her thesis, Hamelin hates rich people for hoarding the very historical artefacts she needs for her research. With her Magikey deck and homemade gadgets, even state-of-the-art security systems don't stand a chance!

The next day after a failed heist at Fleur (after being foiled by Jackie), she bumps into him at the college. To her horror, Jackie learns her name, and from that day on seems to have decided that the two of them are now friends. 

Jackie has no clue that Hamelin and the phantom thief are the same person, but somehow he constantly makes cryptic remarks that allude to such knowledge. It always sets off the wheel in Hammy’s head.

“Inviting me out for an outing after nightfall? Is she trying to get proof that I am the phantom thief by proving that the two of us can never be at the same place at the same time? But if I say no, then she has even more reason to suspect me! If I say yes, I’m playing right into her hands… Curses! A moth? More like a spider!”  “(... In their clash during the war, Fuschia learnt the cruel reality of the dimensional war he was so happily participating in. He was to get a taste of his own medicine, but escaped his cardboard fate when Viol heard his desperate pleas about his siblings.

After Abel defected to Xyz, the two ended up being in the same refugee camp. While they knew of each other's existence, they never spoke a word to each other for the entire war, only ever enjoying each other's silent company as they ate their meals in companiable silence. It was only after the war ended when they both returned to their 'spot' as a last hurrah of sorts that they finally exchanged names.

The two look stunning no matter the state they're in, and are often mistaken to be models. While they can be found hanging out at the most fashionable cafes in Maiami on the weekend, they'll also do the strangest things together, such as going fishing in the middle of a heavy storm.

5. Fusion Mean Girls (Fuschia + Auvria* + Abel +α)

At any given day during a school day, Fuschia and Auvria can be seen sitting at the back of the classroom doing anything but paying attention, such as painting their nails. Despite that, if you were to call on them, they'd be able to answer the question with ease. This catches the eye of a certain Obelisk Force member...

On the battlefield, the pink-headed pair often play a game to see who can collect more resistance scarves in a given time limit.

6. Arte & Alcidis

In school, the two quickly became friends over a shared interest in the field of design. While Alcie would hesitate calling Arte a friend then, the loss of her comforting presence during the war made him realise how reliant he had been on her company. During the invasion, he writes many letters (diary entries) to her, knowing that she would want to know everything that happened. He doesn't actually give them to her when she's revived, because he's let himself be very vulnerable in them.

If fishing for interactions is sending in asks then pretty often, though I rarely fish for compliments. I also reblog a lot of starters. If you want to partake, the best advise I can give you is not to hesitate to throw in an ask, or reply to that open starter. Nobody's going to get mad at you, and they likely don't realize you want to interact unless you make the first move. And more often than not, you'll get an enthusiastic yes.

🧱 Something you don't involve yourself with? uninterested? Anything you prefer to read instead of write?

Smut and romance. I don't particularly care for either. Everything else, I enjoy just about as much reading as I do writing.

🐹 Do you save anything? What would you look back on, to admire, or refresh your memory on writing?

I have a backup of my blogs on my computer, and most of my threads are archived on rpthreadtracker. I still go back and reread some of my earliest threads either because the interaction was just really good, or other times because I need to refresh on a piece of lore that started in that thread.

💡 How often do you get ideas? What helps?

Mostly starter memes? Or some times from real life events. I also am thinking about Ed and imagining him in situations almost all the time when I'm not focused on something else. I find that going for walks helps get ideas flowing. My mind tends to wander when my feet do.

Oh goodness... what else to say? Years ago I sat at a stoplight in a month-old candy apple red car, watching in my rearview mirror as a car was careening towards me from behind doing about 40mph.  I knew he was going to plow into me, and put my foot on the brake and cringed. 😖 My car held up well but his, not so much.  He got out of his car and said, "You were just sitting in the road!" and I said, "Yes at the stoplight!" 🛑 🚦 When the cops arrived, after ticketing him they chuckled, informing me that he was 18 and just got his driver's license. I had to sign to refuse the ambulance and felt fine, but after I got home, it all started hitting me.  Fast forward me visiting my regular doctor and then to a spine surgeon for a consult.👨‍⚕️ My mother always said that I had the gift of gab and people will always confide in me.  After asking the surgeon how's it going with you?  He launched into a diatribe about how his wife was making him drape the 50-foot palm trees 🌴 in front of his waterfront home with Christmas lights!  - Are you joking? I asked.  He said,  "I wish.   - "Who's your favorite orthopedic surgeon?"  "A buddy of mine in Sarasota, why? - I said. "I hope you have his cell phone number. Ask your wife how she likes her lifestyle."  He looked at me puzzled. - I said, "One slip off that ladder and if you so much as break your hand, wrist or other you'll need your favorite neck and back surgeon buddy to put you back together and it's game over for your multimillion dollar career." TGIWednesday: Dude, you're scaring me!

TGIWednesday News 📰

Years ago I sat at a stoplight in a month-old candy apple red car, watching in my rearview mirror as a car was careening towards me from behind doing about 40mph.  I knew he was going to plow into me, and put my foot on the brake and cringed. 😖 My car held up well but his, not so much.  He got out of his car and said, "You were just sitting in the road!" and I said, "Yes at the stoplight!" 🛑 🚦 When the cops arrived, after ticketing him they chuckled, informing me that he was 18 and just got his driver's license. I had to sign to refuse the ambulance and felt fine, but after I got home, it all started hitting me.  Fast forward me visiting my regular doctor and then to a spine surgeon for a consult.👨‍⚕️ My mother always said that I had the gift of gab and people will always confide in me.  After asking the surgeon how's it going with you?  He launched into a diatribe about how his wife was making him drape the 50-foot palm trees 🌴 in front of his waterfront home with Christmas lights!  - Are you joking? I asked.  He said,  "I wish.   - "Who's your favorite orthopedic surgeon?"  "A buddy of mine in Sarasota, why? - I said. "I hope you have his cell phone number. Ask your wife how she likes her lifestyle."  He looked at me puzzled. - I said, "One slip off that ladder and if you so much as break your hand, wrist or other you'll need your favorite neck and back surgeon buddy to put you back together and it's game over for your multimillion dollar career." This scenario had never occurred to him...really? 🤔 The point is you can be booksmart educated, highly skilled and even fearless, but any slip up from something you KNOW you shouldn't be doing can take you out of the game of life! What idiotic thing are you or someone you love doing that should be done by "I'll hire a guy to do that"? 💳 This whole month is dedicated to back to school and education!  Let's work smarter, not harder.  🔥  SEE MONTHLY FEATURES 10% OFF  🔥

TGIWednesday: Dude, you're scaring me!

Years ago I sat at a stoplight in a month-old candy apple red car, watching in my rearview mirror as a car was careening towards me from behind doing about 40mph.  I knew he was going to plow into me, and put my foot on the brake and cringed. 😖 My car held up well but his, not so much.  He got out of his car and said, "You were just sitting in the road!" and I said, "Yes at the stoplight!" 🛑 🚦 When the cops arrived, after ticketing him they chuckled, informing me that he was 18 and just got his driver's license. I had to sign to refuse the ambulance and felt fine, but after I got home, it all started hitting me.  Fast forward me visiting my regular doctor and then to a spine surgeon for a consult.👨‍⚕️ My mother always said that I had the gift of gab and people will always confide in me.  After asking the surgeon how's it going with you?  He launched into a diatribe about how his wife was making him drape the 50-foot palm trees 🌴 in front of his waterfront home with Christmas lights!  - Are you joking? I asked.  He said,  "I wish.   - "Who's your favorite orthopedic surgeon?"  "A buddy of mine in Sarasota, why? - I said. "I hope you have his cell phone number. Ask your wife how she likes her lifestyle."  He looked at me puzzled. - I said, "One slip off that ladder and if you so much as break your hand, wrist or other you'll need your favorite neck and back surgeon buddy to put you back together and it's game over for your multimillion dollar career." This scenario had never occurred to him...really? 🤔 The point is you can be booksmart educated, highly skilled and even fearless, but any slip up from something you KNOW you shouldn't be doing can take you out of the game of life! What idiotic thing are you or someone you love doing that should be done by "I'll hire a guy to do that"? 💳 This whole month is dedicated to back to school and education!  Let's work smarter, not harder.  🔥  SEE MONTHLY FEATURES 10% OFF  🔥
